I like to imagine that Spades is somewhere a mix between the energy of Cate Blanchett's "Hela/Galadriel" and Angelina Jolie's "Maleficent/Lara Croft". She's strong, confident, lithe, sneaky, but regal, and at times kind, and funny.

Spades is a special woman. Her origin is unknown, but her family's history spans several thousand years of being contracted killers. And they've perfected said art of killing. Spades was the oldest of five children and the first in line to continue her family line, but she knew from a young age that children weren't supposed to do this, she shouldn't have to fight like this. She holds a lot of resentment towards her mother for not breaking the cycle of putting their daughters through traumatic experiences to simply continue killing.

Matriarchs run the clan, but there are a few elder patriarchs that have esteem within the family and have weight in their words. Spades has a particular uncle, Javad, that she is most always at odds with as he believes Spades is a stain on the family line--he waits for the day when he can kill her in combat, a storyline I have yet to explore but want to.

When Spades was assaulted as a child by one of her trainers, she went to her mother and begged her to do something, but her mother essentially turned a blind eye for the sake of not causing issue, though as a mother, it deeply hurt her to let her child be hurt like such. It continued until Spades was sixteen, when she decided to have her revenge and in a moment of one of the assaults, bit her attacker and ripped his throat out, staring into his eyes as he choked on his blood.

Her family was enraged that she would kill a family trainer, but she made her stance on her family known. She left the family's monastery at 21 and became a freelance assassin but when she began establishing herself, she established herself as a somewhat morally decent assassin. She'd kill bad people, for a price. She'd pick the bigger evil if it meant the lesser evil would pay her. Of course, she has no fee for human traffickers, assaulters, and enslavers, and gladly kills them when she comes across them.

Oh we haven't spoken but once in the four? weeks since it happened and we broke up. But I assume this is what happened, she was supposedly an ex but they moved from their city like five states away to come here, so I don't really believe they broke up, but what I figure is that she found out he had a new girlfriend and she went nuts and stabbed him. All I know is he's emotionally unavailable, and definitely lying to everyone because I've had like three different people tell me three different lies he's told them about the whole thing.

All I know is his inability to sleep and lack of a good meal since all this happened is none of my fucking problem anymore and he can fuck his mom for all I care. I showed that I cared and that I would've taken care of him because that's who I am.

He knew from the very beginning that I was raised by a man who instilled strong morals of integrity and honesty in me. Telling white lies like, "No the dress doesn't make you look fat" is totally different than saying, "Oh I moved from blank with my friend." WHO HAPPENS TO BE YOUR EX-GIRLFRIEND??? YOU DON'T THINK THAT'S SOMETHING YOU MIGHT WANNA TELL YOUR NEW GIRLFRIEND??? HELLO?

I feel disappointment and anger towards this man and that's about it.

And he can tell me he's got issues from past shit all he wants but sir, you're 30 years old. Get your shit together, get in therapy, and fix your issues. It's 2024, we aren't doing the, "I was trying to protect you from my bs and your angry response to me not telling you I was stabbed for two days hurt me and I emotionally shut down so I didn't get hurt or hurt anyone else." You're a fucking coward and it's wild that a 23 year old has more fucking maturity about all this than you fucking do.
