Hmm, I tend to think of them as they/he in my head? And they only get reffered to as "they" in alt text. But honestly it's very interchangeable and doesn't particularly matter to the story what gender they are.

The Pawmi line is absolutely one of my new favorites ever to the point they were among the first of this gen to add to my living shiny dex and I plan to get each stage to 100. They're so good. I really can't wait for plushies of them. I hope they're life-size.

ed trying to convince izzy to jump into a big pile of leaves, but izzy is far more content just sitting next to the pile.

he's fine just playing with the leaves and crunching them with his hands. thankfully he doesn't try to stick any in his mouth.

stede watches close by, laughing when ed gives up and jumps into the leaves himself. the man sinks down into the bed of leaves, giggling and trying to fling leaves at izzy.

he gets up and walks over to izzy, plenty of leaves still stuck to his jacket and pants, and (as gently as he can) pulls the smaller man into the pile.

Best time of year is when I have to double check that the moths who are sleeping on my ceiling aren't planning on dying there lmao

My favorite analog horror so far really has to be Gemini Home Entertainment. It really has a way of capturing old VHS videos and the like while the underlying story itself is so neatly creepy... And usually leaning more into the representation of monsters and things tends to make these sorts of videos feel a little hokey, they actually do a pretty decent job with their art style and still leave some things vague enough to rely on your imagination, which is the best place for horror to be.

the coworker who first got me excited about ant mimic spiders (specifically the recently introduced M. formicaria) a couple years back got himself all excited today bc he saw one on a greenhouse bench. I did too! on a different bench. they're kinda everywhere now and really noticeable if you know what to look for. :o
