I LIVE for the idea that tsubomi is not only a lesbian but falls HARD for Tome. I also think it would be interesting that when Tsubomi first confesses, Tome rejects her.
Like Tome thinks "we have nothing in common? All I know about her is that she's pretty, popular, and likes tennis. She would think aliens are weird, and would never spend weekends researching telekinesis with me! She's just too normal! She would judge my passions! "
And then, Tsubomi realizes, for her to win Tome over, she has to show her weird side, interestz and hobbies that she's hidden from the world. Like, maybe she's into cryptids, lost civilizations, mermaids, Homestuck, the possibilities are endless.
Idk, the thought of Tsubomi secretly being a bit strange and having to learn how to share that part of herself with others is one of my favorite headcanons and I wished others tried to explore that idea.
