anyways max not knowing how to interact w/ other kids in a socially acceptable way bc he lacked proper socialization and camp was the only place where people were either weird enough to accept that or just as fucked up. him never being able to be friends w/ other kids bc of the massive gap between them and his experiences (i.g: having neglectful parents, being painfully aware of the world at such a young age, etc) him acting like an asshole on purpose to drive other kids away bc its easier to be born an asshole and stay that way than trying to change and failing. him cracking a joke that would do numbers at camp only to receive weird stares and realize that he's alone again.

#camp camp #cc #David #jasper #fanart #DUDEEE nobody gets them like i do theyre so good #theyre so tragic.. they never truly got to know each other. the last time they ever seen each other they were angry with the other :(#but there’s so much regret that comes with it too. they never got to talk it out. be on good terms #they could see each other at any moment but they other doesn’t know #they call each other best friends yet we never really see them being best friends.. but maybe they get each other like no one else does #their personalities did a complete swap with each other - they understand how the other is thinking and feeling.#David hated the camp but after one good thing he loves it. viseversa with jasper #when they last saw each other they were clouded with their views and didn’t try to understand things from their lens #yet even if they didn’t - they still understood each other. if you get what I mean #theyre foils. but so is max and david and that’s what makes both relationships compelling for me. theyre so similar to each other #no wonder david is so attached to max. he sees himself in him and he sees jasper in him too #i know jaspers just a character to show how bad the camp is. but there’s so much depth to him too #he has a lot of missed potential.. i hope he’s in season 5 at least. id like to see him again #srry for the character analysis im insane #jaspvid

I like to think that the Cocoa Puffs become the local cryptids in camp. Everyones making ghost-busting gangs trying to figure out the little guys for the first few months but then after that its just their friendly neighborhood ball of trauma. They scatter like dandelions across the camp grounds and it becomes commonplace to find one chilling under a bed or hiding in a boat or stuck in a tree. Sometimes they’ll steal food just for fun. They’re untameable.

There are exactly 2 ways to make a Puff go somewhere and thats by either a) having a really bad time with an emotion such as grief, anger, loneliness, etc and becoming enough of a catnip to the Puff embodying that emotion that they’ll follow you around like a storm cloud, OR, the more popular option, b) getting Will Solace himself to wolf whistle, which immediately prompts every single Puff in existence to scramble out of the woodwork like cockroaches and zoom towards him at top speeds. Nico doesn’t know if he should find it cute or be offended.
