We know Vasco is obviously special to Machete since he rarely allows himself to be vulnerable with other people. But is Machete really that special to Vasco outside of him being an old friend/one of the many people he loves/is seeing?

Vasco adores him. It may be a little cliche but this is supposed to be sort of a "once in a lifetime/love of his life" situation for both of them.

I think they originally met and befriended each other during a very formative time of their lives, and even though the initial romance couldn't last, the impact and impression it left on them was strong. They subsequently lost contact but once their paths cross again over ten years later, largely by happenstance, they go absolutely bananas. Neither of them expected to see the other ever again, Vasco has missed Machete tremendously and Vasco's presence makes Machete feel more alive than he's felt in a decade.

During the time they were apart, Vasco was pressured into marriage and gradually started having flings of various lengths with other men, while Machete was first ordained a priest and then created a cardinal. They begin seeing each other again and because of their shared history, the relationship becomes deep, exclusive and committed fairly quickly. They definitely see each other as their life partners and eventually start to act like a married couple, within the severe constraints of their situation of course.

so hey guys i finished dungeon meshi yesterday and i'm still thinking about it

planning out a new tav who's eventually going to be with halsin and i can't decide if i want him to also romance astarion yet. i think they'd work really well together, but i've heard that if you romance someone else alongside halsin, they don't give you the chance to go with him at the end and i wanted this tav to be able to do that. at this point i'm just way too indecisive to choose.

thinking about nile having nightmares and not being able to sleep post london and then being very tired during the day and taking naps on whoever's around

honestly one of my favorite parts of 3rd life was the flower husbands + desertduo dynamic, seeing those two pairs interact and be allied with each other and stuff is soooooo. awauh. ESPECIALLY since scott and grian are in a very similar boat at times, paired with a red life while not on red themselves and still staying by their side and vice versa. the way scott and jimmy interact is honestly pretty similar to how grian and scar interact, only with desertduo having the added servitude aspect to it. it makes scott and grian’s dynamic in particular really interesting and fun to me as they parallel each other a bit, and stuff like when scott mentions him and grian “returning to their husbands” (paraphrased from memory lol) always makes me go :]

think my fatal flaw is that vexleth will always be more appealing to me even as i get further into c1

maybe my memory failing me means i am due for a rewatch again but do we ever get to see what happens w mirandas body? do they just have to leave her corpse propped up in the market square. like obv no one takes her dead body back to the ship but idk. it makes me so sad and so angry that she didnt get a proper burial which, yes, obviously, (to an extent) is the point of it all but i like to think that maybe abigail still had some fondness for her left, despite the fallout, and maybe arranged for her to be laid to rest somewhere or sth.

but the last shot of miranda in that cheap box, propped up, pale and apart from the chaos as around her the city descends into a war zone is so fucking haunting bc u could argue (as flint does to himself, justifying his actions) that it is for her. all that fear and that violence and panic happening is from a pirate attack that is made /in her name/

and idek where i am going w this bc i dont really have a point to make or a metaphor to spin except to say that maybe it doesnt matter what happens to the mortal remains of her body bc flint is carrying the important parts of her w him anyway but damn. i just think. miranda [gestures w increasing urgency as i fail to verbalise any of my emotions]

We saw the beginning, now I be thinking about all the possible...uhh the word is like aftermath...epilogues? Seeing as the narrative will be left open ended, we can hypothesize and fantasize just about anything!

This one is Harvey carrying on with what he idealized as a normal life, getting married, having kids, going out with the boys, stuff you see on TV. But Cammy is still there, still a part of his life. And that's pretty neat. And also I cry.

There's a big boating lake I used to visit that had two call duck couples that were likely either escaped or released pets (very irresponsible if that's the case, but they seemed to manage fine). One pair was there for about eight years, and the other was a gay pair who moved in down the other side of the lake a few years later.

First pic are Bianco (white) and Impa (white w/grey patches), and the second is Honey (left) and Fenton (right). Sadly I haven't seen either pair for a very long time, and whilst Fenton and Honey may have simply moved I'm pretty sure Impa and Bianco both passed away :(

There was also Sprinkle, a mallard who took my notice for being the only white duckling, and then for her unusual markings
