So, someone in the "Katara deserves better" tag made a post saying that Katara deserves better than modern feminists condemning her for healing.

It was never about her healing (also we never condemn her, we condemn the men writing her). How many times do we have to say it? It's about her JUST healing when she always wanted to be a fighter. Some women (and men) in fiction might just want to heal/be meds. And that's fine. No one said it wasn't. We ARE saying that Katara wasn't one of those people.

This was literally her ENTIRE arc. You guys have to know that fighting is a crucial part of her character. You can't claim to be fans of Katara if you don't.

The shikasaku ship is superior simply because genius x genius in the friends to lovers way is just That good. and before you haters come at me saying sakura's not a genius, let me tell you that a) shut up b) sakura is a civilian born ninja and most people had no expectation from her. all she had was her unnatural chakra control. the fact that she came that far without any genetic advantages (hint: naruto with his huge chakra reserves and sasuke with his shortcut sharingan) is amazing on its own. and the fact that she surpassed her teacher who is a SENJU btw there's advantage there, is simply incredible.

maybe i'm just slow but in case anyone else was wondering why Cirrus got so upset abt his dad and stepmom doing it in his room....it happened when Cirrus was visiting his mother's grave...on her death anniversay....

his dad was screwing his 5th wife in his son's bed instead of mourning the death of the mother of his only child along with his son.

okay so i, uh. I guess i'm gonna have a little rant moment here?

i don't know who needs to read this but yeah, friendly reminder that Mad Ducktor and Gyro are the same person- like, the same same person, which is why you kind of, y'know, shouldn't make them shippable with each other?

now i don't mean to be all whiney and stuff about this because, really, i've seen worse than this and it's just a ship on the internet, but you know it kiiinda pisses me off when i go looking for Ducktor fanfics and all I find is the guy making out with himself. like c'mon.

there could be so many possibilities for their dynamic! write about how they influence each other! write about how Ducktor's been living after his first defeat! it's not like Gyro's the only character out there who we could ship Ducktor with! (My friend once said that she thinks that he and Duck Avenger could make very interesting enemies to lovers, and while it would be a bit complex to manage, imo I definitely agree! because it WOULD make for a good fic prompt!) but nooooo, why do that? Why not just put a guy in a relationship with his alter ego! because that makes more sense. Yeah, sure.

i mean, i hope i don't have to explain why first of all selfcest is a bad idea. and second of all, it's not even a healthy relationship for the guy, like seriously not only do they ship the guy with himself, they also make him be shitty to himself because?? why not??? might as well go out with a bang right????

Some friendship... (also I'm fucking up past and present tenses, but idgaf)

You know I just realized how absolutely humongous a crock of shit the whole Maya turning into Riley because she's getting better grades thing is, and that Riley only was accusing her of that because of Lucas. I mean, I knew it was bullshit before, but I never really though of how gigantic a 💩 it was until today.

Girl Meets Father is the fourth episode of season one. In that episode, Cory gives Maya an F on her test. Maya gets upset that she failed the test.

Maya tells Riley that "sometimes, I'm not so proud of who I am".

Maya tells Riley and Cory that she "tried to write like I was smart", Riley responds that Maya is smart.

Cory corrects Maya on one answer of the test saying "it's a tiny difference but an important one. Because if you know it, Maya, you don't fail". Maya then replies "I want to not fail".

Riley was encouraging Maya, while Cory was quizzing her on the subject of the test.

Maya says to Cory: "I just don't wanna fail, Mr. Matthews.

We go from that (Riley encouraging Maya to grow and better herself) to season three, Girl Meets Triangle, where Riley accuses Maya that the person that Maya has grown into is not who she really is.

Riley tell the art teacher that "Maya's a rebel". That Maya dances on teachers' desks, is the queen of detention and the president of Mayaville.

Riley is saying that Maya needs to be fixed because "she's been getting good grades, she's behaving all over the place".

Maya tells Riley, "I'm me! I've always been me, I'm always gonna be me! Nothings going to change that!", Riley retorts with"you haven't stood on a teachers desk or been in detention for a long time. You sold your house in Mayaville and you moved to Rileytown."

No matter what Maya says, Riley keeps insisting that Maya turned into her, blah blah blah.

Riley goes on about how Maya's style has changed towards Riley's style.

So, in the beginning of the series Riley was encouraging Maya to grow and do better. Maya even told Riley that she's not proud of who she is. Maya does mature and grow...

THEN Riley finds out that Maya likes the same guy as her. That can't happen, she can't have Lucas choosing Maya; so she accuses Maya of becoming her and wants Maya to become that failure that Maya thought she was in the beginning of the series (plus telling Maya that while Riley will have one husband, Maya will go through 5 husbands and that Lucas won't be one of them). Riley accuses Maya pulling the fire alarm, of stealing from the cafe (for me, that kind of accusation is something that a friendship can never bounce back from) and she basically forces Maya to revert back to the person she wasn't proud of being, to believe that she doesn't deserve good things or good guys... all because they like the same guy.

Thus, by the end of the series; Riley destroyed all of Maya's growth and forced Maya's regression and Riley became a hypocrite.

Mind absolutely does not care about his hair. He uses 3 in 1 shampoo, towel dries his hair, and dry brushes out his curls. His hair is always frizzy and damaged.

Heart has a whole haircare regimen and strictly follows it. It is the only time henis not impulsive because his hair means a lot to him. His curls are the healthiest out the the three.

Soul does the bare minimum for his hair. A good shampoo, conditioner, and wide tooth comb. That's it. While not the best, there's minimal damage but no natural shine.

Ever since I learned about Bruce's last will and testament message to Steph I've been keeping an informal mental ranking list of who most deserves to get to throw Bruce into the Gotham harbor with concrete shoes and shark bait strapped to his ass.

Dick: *Having Kill Bill siren flashbacks to dozens of arguments with Bruce, in which B lied, hit him, screamed at him, then threw him out of his life, and like a thousand other extremely fucked up things B has done with him.*
