Dude so I’ve rewatched GOS2 multiple times but my dad finally got around watching it and we decided to watch the finale together and oh my god

Okay so everything’s normal, he’s focused and quiet the whole episode until the kiss scene, i look over and I SWEAR I SEE A TEAR as soon as Crowley says don’t bother he starts rubbing his eyes like crazy

Keep in mind my father never cries. I’ve only seen him cry like twice on my entire life.

Then as soon as the credits roll he goes “oh my god that was so sad…we really need a third season now cause like oh my god”

On which characters are right, wrong, equally so, and why our current least favorite character did what he did, and why it’s all going to work out in S3…

Both Crowley and Aziraphale are equally right, and both Crowley and Aziraphale are equally wrong.

Crowley is right that heaven and hell are toxic, and that neither of them needs heaven or hell.

Crowley is wrong in thinking they should run away from it all.

Aziraphale is right that they need to continue protecting humanity. They need to NOT run away, and help.

Aziraphale is wrong about the fact that the best way to do that is through the power of heaven.

The other thing they both get right is acknowledging that they need each other. (They just need to overcome the differences in their “Exactly’s” again, as it were.

And they will. This is just the end of act 2. This is intermission)

ALSO. I definitely suspect that the Metatron conspired to split up Aziraphale and Crowley for this very reason: together, they are extremely powerful. He took note of that 25 Lazerii half-miracle they performed. Imagine what might happen of they tried to do a full blown show-stopping time-bending miracle together to save the world? He knows that if heaven and hell tried to go against the two of them together… well, Aziraphale and Crowley are just too OP.

T’Pring/Michael could be everything

#Concepts: Forbidden love on many levels (arranged marriage - human/vulcan - my brother's future wife & my future husband's sister)#Both being bound by duty to follow strict rules - both as parts of HIGHLY prestigious families. Both have to be VERY careful with their #public personas. Both much less willing to buck tradition and do what they want than the people around them Ex: Spock - Sybok #(now is the time to tell you this is ALL brainspace and vibes as that's the way I like to think about Spock's family v_v)#Michael not really feeling much for T'Pring in the beginning but enjoying the fact that a Vulcan unrelated to her is so positive about #her...especially a Vulcan that her father views as logical and good. T'Pring's acceptance is like validation.#Meanwhile T'Pring enjoys that Michael enjoys being with her unlike Spock who doesn't really want to be married to her and thus can't find #it in himself to enjoy being around her (not that he's cruel just clearly unenthusiastic and reticent)#Both women eventually breaking free from their bonds and doing something for themselves (T'Pring breaking off the engagement and Michael uhh #I really don't know what she does in Disco. Leading a mutiny or something??)#T'Pring/Michael would be the slowest burn in history #Michael as a concept is so good and I love her - SNW I hate for you killing her bring her back!!! Very much thinking about the Apollo cabin using Lee and later Michael as a kinda point to cling to why in battle in the same way the Hephaestus cabin did with Beckendorf. A reason to keep fighting. :3

The Apollo cabin is so interesting, Michael is such a complex character and he was hardly in half a book 😭

In more ways then one, Rick literally didn't bring him up until the very end and we don't even get reactions from other campers and Head Counselors. Annabeth wasn't there when Michael fell, how did she react??

We don't see Clarisse's reaction, or even one of the Stolls. Will isn't even fully said to have stepped up to take charge until we find out he's head counselor in tlh.

Like he's the only Apollo kid Percy actually notices by name especially afterwards so it's hinted but you could easily just say it's because he was the one that took care of Annabeth.
