“I was so mean to him! He was a better Kingsguard than I was, and now he’s gone…”

The Black brothers loved each other. Would kill for each other, bury a body, take a killing curse. They just... couldn't have a civil conversation with each other. This wasn't always the case, they used to be close. Hogwarts had driven a wedge. Sirius had become brazen and open in disavowing everything about their upbringing and heritage. Regulus had chosen the path of subterfuge - keep up appearances just enough, take his place as head of household, then use his power to make a difference. Neither could particularly stand the friends the other had made. Sirius referring to James as his 'brother' dug into Regulus and made him lash out.
The winter holiday after Sirius's 16th birthday, the cracks finally grew too deep and Sirius had run - run to the Potters', run to James. Put Regulus in the position of having to either publicly disavow Sirius or give up his lifelong plans. He chose the latter.
They still loved each other. They started doubting if the other did, though. They would each still kill for the other, bury a body, take a killing course. They just... couldn't have a civil conversation with each other.

While I do believe Adam and Lucifer were EXTREMELY close in Eden, what Lucifer did to Adam shattered their bond permanently. And what makes it worse is how Lucifer is SUPPORTED for what he's done to Adam while Adam is left with the broken pieces of his life.
And it gets worse since Lucifer now has a kingdom, a wife that loves him, a child....everything Adam lost. And he feels like it gets thrown in his face constantly how pathetic and worthless he is. How nobody could ever truly want him....because they always leave at the end.
Always.
Lucifer can WANT a friendship with Adam again, but Adam wouldn't. It'd just be the devil mocking him for eternity about how pathetic he is and how in the end he always wins. Even if Lucifer doesn't see it and is genuinely confused why Adam is so angry at him after being best friends for so long.

I feel like we don’t talk about this scene enough. It’s the implication that Mobius knows every terrible thing Loki has ever done and has still never seen him as a villain because of it. It’s Loki intimidating Brad by saying that Mobius—the person who understands him best—would agree that Loki is capable of getting what he needs from Brad. It’s Loki admitting that Mobius is the one who knows him better than anyone else ever has. It’s the casual intimacy of the statement, just 3 ostensibly unimportant words thrown on at the end of a sentence that ultimately reveals how familiar and close they really are to each another.
