I ordered all three lord of the rings books at once to make sure they were all matching editions and they just arrived and one of them is different
#i know it's always a risk with ordering secondhand books online that they won't look like the cover image shown#but they were all the same price with the matching cover images#and i even checked the publishers name and publication date (all january 1999) so i was like yeah they match for sure#BUT NO#i don't mind them being in not very good condition i just want a whole series to match 😭😭😭#talking

sometimes i think about when after my hs graduation banquet we asked our math teacher to share what she though of us individually in the past few years, and she said i "seemed surprisingly violent sometimes, with an aura of repressed rage" or something like that, and i had to physically hold myself back from saying "that's because i fucking hated you and your classes"

❣️ The Eclipse - Gonna put this on here for one last time because how can I not lmao. It wasn’t perfect and there were some bumps in the road but it was still a masterpiece to me. It was obvious that everything about it came from a place of sincerity and passion from everyone involved and the characters, as well as the stories they told, meant so much to me. Idk if others feel that way but yeah. It’s hard to top for sure.
❣️ Roommates of Poongduck 304 - YO this show is amazing. I havent seen anyone talk about it so yeah definitely criminally underrated. The writing is genius, the dialogues are witty and the acting is amazing. Truly a top-notch production in every possible way with all the kdrama feels but yknow... gay lmao. Highly recommend!!!!!
👎🏻 Oh My Sunshine Night - I don’t know where this show went wrong but it was a disaster. It’s been slow from the get go but it was nearly unbearable towards the end. The second half was just a loop of the same scenes and the same lines over and over again which is a shame because I know OhmFluke can do better. 18 episodes wasted. What a flop.

i wanna find more books like little mushroom but whenever i google for recommendations similiar to it, google just gives me more danmei LIKE no the only thing most of these books have in common is they’re all gay and are chinese novels ….. i want post apocalyptic poetic storytelling with existentialism threaded through the pages giving me a slow aching feeling that i can’t forget about 😭😭😭

desperately trying to remember if there are any books i read this year that i cannot find on my library borrowing history or simply cannot remember. i am so bad about remembering books. LITERALLY REMEMBERED ONE AS I'M WRITING THIS POST. anyway i am attempting to compile a list of books that i've read this year so that i can reference it without having to forget everything. wish me luck. i have fifteen titles on there right now but i can't shake the feeling there's something i'm forgetting
#checking my shelf of books i got for school??? idk#none of this is helped by the way that i have seven thousand books waiting to be read right now and all of them are on my mind#and several of them i am partway through. but i cannot put bell hooks all about love on my list yet i just can't#opened this is how you lose the time war today. not liking it super much but it's not even 200 pages so we'll pound through it#and then my three books from merc (princess bride and two books from the fight club guy)#and all about love. and interview with the vampire#WITCHER NOVELS!!!
