I thought I’d put together a somewhat coherent list of my headcanons for Lies of P as well as few others I’ve seen that go in line with what I’ve been thinking.

When P becomes human

His body doesn’t exactly change to one of flesh and blood. He still has a puppet body, for the most part. But that doesn’t make him any less human.

There are some physical changes, however, like how his hair changes and his shoulders get broader. I’d imagine he’d also develop some other changes internally that would enable him to do things he couldn’t do before. But again, still kinda more on the mechanical side than fleshy.

He would also feel things like pain and even hunger to an extent because of some of these changes. He’d also feel fatigue.

He’d feel pain because his ergo would like remember how certain things are supposed to hurt. Like getting smacked by a shovel would not be pleasant. And the hunger part is because he’s not entirely powered by ergo anymore and so he’ll eat to regain some energy. (Don’t ask me how, I haven’t figured that out yet. Just made sense at the time I thought of it)

Him breathing still isn’t a necessity, but it’s more like a “muscle memory”. Similarly to how his ergo can remember pain, it remembers other subtle things about being human. Things that one wouldn’t actively think about when doing, like breathing and even blinking.

How P feels being human/first time feelings

The first time he feels pain, he’d be shocked at first. He’d just think “What was that?? I did not like that.” And then he’d come to understand it pretty quickly and whenever he gets really hurt or something, he’d almost wish he still couldn’t feel pain. But that’s more of just him being a little dramatic lol

When he feels hunger for the first time, he’s completely unaware of what this feeling in his stomach is and it sort of has him a bit scared. That is, until he tells someone about it and they kinda laugh a little and explain it to him while giving him something to eat.

The first time eating something is so weird to him. Like he kinda has the muscle memory of it so it’s not like he’s being taught how to eat, but that doesn’t mean the overall sensation isn't weird and maybe a bit overwhelming at first. He gets used to it eventually and comes to enjoy trying new foods when he has the chance.

The first time he feels genuinely tired, he’s not too sure what’s happening. He’s felt sort of drained before, but this is a new level. Eventually he just passes out from exhaustion and he’s just on the floor until someone finds him. After that he’s more aware of what it is and is more careful about not passing out on the floor again. But he’ll still fall asleep in various places like in chairs or at a desk/table

Not to mention dreams. P would be confused as fuck about dreams. But he wouldn’t think much of them afterward. However, his first nightmare? Poor guy would be fucking shook.

(This one for the thirsty people including myself lmao) With P experiencing more human emotions, it would make sense he’d feel a romantic attraction to someone at some point. But I’d imagine he’d also experience sexual attraction. However, still having the body of a puppet, he’s missing a certain part to his anatomy to make some of these dirty desires possible. Unless he convinces someone to help him change that.

Meet Aurora

It’s been a while since I posted any art since I started Uni but I couldn’t help but share one of my ocs for @stygianeyedev ‘s Sacrarium series. I’ve been obsessed with both Pario and Gelus, and dragged one of my friends into it. Especially with Heimos, he’s our fav. Anyways, I have more information about her under the cut. I do plant to share more little tidbits and fun facts about her as I draw her and my Pario MC more in the near future, but for now just keeping it simple-ish for now. More under the cut

Age: Late 20s

Pronouns: She/Her

Gender: Female (Intersex/Trans) Sexuality: Bisexual (although could be open to poly if she chooses to.) Profession: Town Baker (former), Witch of Mt. Gelus

Personality: Aurora, is a kind-hearted soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. To everyone she met, Aurora has been a shining beacon in the community and doing her part. She can also be quite outspoken and rambunctious, especially when it’s with getting a reaction out of her friends and loved ones. She can also very much be a little gremlin for the hell of it and especially loves to tease Heimos ( and potential other partners in the future maybe out of love, of course). Hobbies: Cooking, Baking, Basically anything related to the culinary arts. Likes : Stargazing, Learning Magic, Reading, Sketching, Playing with the ravens and in the snow.

Dislikes: Failed Experiments, Being Sick, Bitterness, People assuming her skills for someone other than herself.

Backstory: Aurora's story isn't too much diverted from the story told in Gelus. However, Aurora wasn't just the only baker in the village, she also helped out at the Butcher when she finished her tasks. Yet, because of her love for cooking, along with her motherly deposition, she became an ideal romantic target for many of the male bachelors of town. Aurora waved off their many advancements, especially since she felt they only wanted her as a housewife, mother and maid rather than a lover. This was especially present with Erik, who always made comments about her hobbies and job to be the perfect homemaker, which led to the huge argument before his passing. Of course, then we know what happens after that and... all's well that ends well. Aurora gets to live a happy, long immortal life with Heimos and actually being seen for herself, rather than a homemaker.

I am breaking from my usual blog aesthetic because I’ve been gripped by Lies of P so hard, it is the practically only thing on my mind right now!!

So first of all, why the FUCK is P so damn adorable? This does not happen to me often. I do not get attracted to fictional characters, or most people, being ace. But this goddamn puppet man has me going feral. I fucking adore him.

Secondly, I love the story and the lore of it all and I’m still learning more about it!

Thirdly, I have some thoughts I’d like to share about P becoming human. Like, I’d imagine that when P becomes human, he’s still not flesh and blood exactly, but he does have changes and features he didn’t have before as just a regular puppet. What I mean is, as a puppet, he doesn’t need to breathe or eat or sleep and all that. And he couldn’t show much emotion outside the over exaggerated gestures he learns.

But when he’s human, I imagine there are some changes to his physical form, but still largely mechanical. Like how he doesn’t need to breathe yet he’s grunting and breathing when he does certain actions in the game at a certain point. And I also like to think that even though he doesn’t exactly need sleep, he would be able to and would sometimes just fall asleep if nothing super important was going on.

Like these changes aren’t drastic, it’s more just little additions and new feelings that not even the other awoken puppets could feel. Maybe.

I’m rambling now, but my feeling is that P as a human still has a puppet’s body, but he has certain capabilities that only a human would have such as crying actual tears, breathing (even though he wouldn’t actually need to, it just becomes something that he does without thinking), feeling physical pain, sleeping, etc.

Please, anyone, let me know what y’all think of this. I am dying to talk more about this game with other people.

Okay, so hear me out. Or call me out if another author has already done this so I don't look like a fool or worse, a plagiarizer (eep!) But apparently my brain thinks the logical thing to do when encountering writer's block on one fic is to watch random movies and just zone out on the couch. All well and good, right?

Maybe not.

I'm watching The Notebook, like I have at least a hundred other times before, and it hits me. Top Gun/Notebook AU? Picture it with me (pretty please?)

Jake as Noah. Bradley as Lon? Or vice versa, I haven't quite nailed that down yet. And then either I hijack Casey from one of my other TG stories to represent Allie, or come up with a brand new OC altogether.

Yeah. Great plan, pigeon. Concoct an entirely new story when you've got two active ones already, and another AU for Top Gun on the backburner. Brilliant plan! (lol). But it just kind of came up out of nowhere, and now it won't leave me alone.
