lol about your post on fate+… i agree!!! long ass rant incoming 😭

first of all, the tour is very rushed. yes ik the boys have been hinting at it since their LA show back in october but announcing the tour the day after the last show of the regular fate tour and giving engenes only a week for ticketing is wild. but kpop companies have caught on that many fans will spend $$$ to see their idols and will gather up money somehow even with a few days notice. it’s so ughhh because it brings me to my next point.

the ticket pricing 🙄🙄 wdym nyc show VIP1 was $700+ with fees. and no benefits with the VIP package were announced so nobody including the arena staff know if send off is included. (i hope it isn’t cause goddamn after that first LA show it was a mess) ive never gotten VIP/GA tickets for any concert ever because i only started working a year and a half ago and just personally don’t think it’s worth it for me considering i make minimum wage at the moment. but i spent $150 without fees fate in newark for a pretty good seat at prudential. however for UBS ticketing today, seats just as good were $250-$300. like i get it’s a diff arena so diff pricing but DAMN? luckily i was able to snag $150 tickets towards the back of the 100s section but damn why is there a $100 upcharge for sitting like a few rows in front…bffr hybe. i went to see txt at UBS last year and the seats in the same area i sat in for that concert were $300+ today 😭😭😭 concerts in general are getting more and more expensive and it sucksss!!! but like i said, kpop companies know kpop stans will buy no matter the price so they unashamedly increase prices with each subsequent tour. that’s def why some groups are touring 24/7…and enha is def gonna become that group for hybe considering their international success is crazy. i have a feeling they plan to push txt more in korea and enha more internationally so enha is gonna keep on touring and touring.

i personally believe that even $200 w/ fees is kinda pushing it for a concert even it means a good view! but you can’t get good concert tickets for cheaper with any artist (why are drake tickets like $300 for nosebleeds)

my third point is rest 😭 for the sake of the boys health, the tour should be starting in late summer/early fall and with dates more spaced out. there was so much discourse on twitter about whether the tour should be boycotted or not. i felt really guilty even considering buying tickets cause of it. imo i believe that a boycott would only hurt the boys more. it’s ok to want to go see them. HOWEVER, belift/hybe should be giving the boys some time to rest because jfc they’re also comparing for a comeback. i hope the boys get AT LEAST a week without intense practices and constant filming. a month long rest is ideal but it’s not realistic knowing their management. i really really hope all goes well this tour and the boys stay healthy. jay my pookie wookie also seemed so excited to go to tacoma, even if it’s for a day so i hope he can visit his old hometown 😫😫

and with the large influx of y/n interaction loving engenes (ik i can’t talk because im sending this to a fic blog on tumblr.com) i hope the boys don’t have to deal with the same type of bullshit they did during this last tour. it’s inevitable tho, so many people are getting into enha because they do a lot of fanservice these days. i really want to know if they flirt 24/7 on weverse because it’s entertaining to watch the aftermath or because their management really wants to push the parasocial thing with them. makes sense if it’s the management tho considering send off was very interactive (a lot of the tiktoks of it went virallll) + the boys are constantly on vlive and making flirty comments these days (sunghoon when i catch u)

right??? i loveddd the fate tour and there was plenty of time between the announcement and the actual purchasing of tickets, if i remember correctly. but today was just a mess!!! :/ how have they not realized that some engenes need more than a week to prepare and come up with the money to attend, like i had friends selling photocard collections just to buy tickets 😭 but yeah ultimately just had to dish out money from their own pockets

i believe they all have send off now (i was buying vip1 tickets for my friends and it said so on the package) but i was shocked that they even had send off still after how bad it was last time 😭😭 (to be fair i think send off was rlly nice in la tho so fingers crossed they find a big space again to hold it in) but god it makes me so sad to hear that they're just running enha dry with tour after tour 😭 and right!!! there was literally a $200+ service fee?? that's literally the price of another ticket like wtf

honestly i don't think a boycott would help. i think it could if everyone committed to it, but the moment people mentioned it i knew it wasn't happening because people aren't actually willing to give up on seeing enha. realistically there's not even much of a point to the tour considering they have like 4 new songs?? svt hasn't toured in the us since be the sun and they're gonna have two albums of songs for their next tour now. i just wish belift would let enha space out their tours like that 💔 but!! i will say i am glad that jay gets to tour in his hometown in all this

LOL it is ironic to say that to a reader insert writer but it is more of a nameless oc insert for me!!! 🥲 but i totally get what you mean, there's so many engenes who only care about interactions and "y/n moments" like this girl literally shoved me during the fate tour when they came down the aisles??? 💀 like girl chill u can have heeseung omg 🚶‍♂️ no i'm not gonna lie i think the y/n stans on twitter have fallen victim to the parasocial relationship HARD and it feels like it all started because of the fate tour too 😭 it also doesn't help that belift pushes them to fit this perfect boyfriend image with the whole "dating my fans" kind of thing. i was sooo done with them after everyone started posting their selca days for jungwon's birthday like jfc 😭😭

Jimin's Birthday minus 4 - 2019 celebrations

BTS were on their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour in October 2019. During the concert on the 11th October the Members organised a surprise for Jimin singing Happy Birthday to him in Arabic. Jimin was visibly shocked and then delighted skipping around the stage with a massive smile on his face.

The next morning he did a live to thank ARMY for their birthday wishes before he got on the plane back to Korea. He talked about how watching Jungkook enjoy the concert had helped him relax and enjoy it himself.

This is also the Vlive when he talks about his vacation in Paris and coming back in time for Jungkook's birthday before heading off again to Hawaii the following morning. He also talked about going to Russia in the same vacation period. He certainly made the most of the extended break in 2019.

Most of his birthday was probably spent on the plane back to South Korea. The members again posted birthday greetings. Jungkook posted the following pictures with the text, "Happy Birthday Jiminie hyung! And I’m sorry. HappyBday Jimin. I’m Really Sorry. Sorry. Sorry Once Again. There’s really nothing cool about these, I’m Sorry. It looks like you’re still sleeping, I’m sorry. You understand right I’m sorry. You are me I am you. So sorry."

I'm pissed

Over the last week a lot of things happened

BigHit sent guards and they stay outside Joanne's hospital door along with two officers

There's a huge man hunt for Han-jae after Maggie and Glenn came to talk to us again

I guess that when something effects a celebrity and it's made public, shit gets done

I know our ARMY is behind some of this with their posts and tweets, slamming the cops for waiting a whole year to do anything and for letting this happen

Last time no one knew what happened to her

Our identities were concealed and no one knew BTS was at the hospital

This time it's all over the news and the internet

When Namjoon said that this was the second time Han-jae tried to kill her in his statement, ARMYS were furious

So the cops have to move quickly

They better find him

The guys went on tour and had their first performance without me last night.

During the end of the concert where we usually talk to our ARMYS, the guys talked about her and asked our ARMYS to pray for her

This made her cry, from happiness this time

She's slowly getting better.

She can't eat solid food and she still can't talk so well

The doctors are also monitoring the baby

He's fine and healthy which is a miracle

She's given vitamins, prenatal pills and other things in her food to keep the baby healthy and growing

I know she's so happy about the baby

I catch her looking at her stomach and putting her hand on it all the time

I see her absentmindedly rubbing her belly when she's watching tv or talking, well writing, to me

I'm ecstatic she's pregnant and I can't wait until he's born

The thing that's pissing me off is the hate and the media

I keep getting calls on my new cell from people asking for interviews It's only been a week and I already changed my number twice.

I got her a new cell and number too and thank god no one is calling her

The dumb rumors they're spreading piss me off

Things like, "Is Suga hiding something? Why won't he answer any questions or give any interviews?"

And the stupid rumors that I'm leaving BTS or leaving Korea

The worst is the haters that pretend to be ARMYS

They say the most awful things about her that make me rage

Some of these people have serious issues and think I belong to them

"This bitch took Yoongi from me. She should of died"

"Shoulda let her die"

"She doesn't deserve Yoongi. She should go back to her ex and let him finish her off"

"I was at the concert last night. This girl should just die so Yoongi can come back and tour with BTS"

"I went to the concert to hear music, not to hear about some bitch I don't care about."

"This is the second tour he's missed. I bet last time was because of her too!"

"The guys seemed preoccupied last night. Probably thinking about that dumb girl"

"If she dies, I'm here Yoongi! I'll be with you! I'm better than her"

"So Yoongi chooses this girl instead of a Korean? Hope she dies and he can be with the right kind of girl"

"Yoongi needs to forget her and come back to BTS"

These things enrage me

I don't go looking for them but they're sent to me or put into online articles

I know that she has seen some tweets

She pretends it doesn't bother her but I can see it does

I see the sadness in her face

The tweets about me make her sad too.

But I really don't care what they say about me

I'm used to nasty things being said to and about me

"Yoongi is an idiot. He should of died with her"

"God I fucking hate Yoongi. He's the worst member of BTS. His girlfriend's ex shoulda took him out too"

"Wish that Han-jae guy would of taken out Yoongi instead of the girl"

These things don't bother me but they upset her because she went through everything to keep me alive

I don't want her upset

I see other ARMYS defend her and me, telling off these people but I don't want this happening anymore

So I decide to address all this shit

Today

I set up the vlive on my laptop

I spoke to her about doing this vlive and she's ok with it

After all it involves her too

I start the vlive and I wait

Fans immediately start to watch and I wait until more people log on

I'm getting flooded with comments

"Yoongi! How are you? How is she?"

"Is she ok Yoongi?"

"I hope she's getting better!"

"Did they catch that bastard?"

"I'm praying for her!"

I actually smile at the amount of supportive and moving comments

I read them to her and when I turn to look at her, she smiles

I have the camera just on my face and not near her so they can't see her

"Is she there?"

"Tell her I say hi!"

"Tell her I hope she feels better!"

"Get well soon!"

"I'm sorry about what happened to you!"

"Gi", she calls

I turn to her and she hands me a paper

I read it and ask, "Are you sure?"

She nods

I turn to the camera and say, "She wrote something she wants to say"

I hold up the paper that says, "Thank you for asking about me. I'm ok and am getting better. Thanks for the nice things you're saying. It means a lot."

I hold the paper up for a minute then put it down

More supportive comments come in

"She's so sweet!"

"Thank god you're ok!"

"I'm so glad you're ok!"

Of course I see the rude "Die bitch" or "She's not dead, why not?" comments but there's not a lot and the ARMYS attack the people saying these things and defending her

Time to start this thing

I start talking

"I guess you all saw the news last week. I'm here to talk about a few things."

I take a breath

I'm about to go off but I need to do it in a calm way

Not sure that will happen but I'll at least try

"I'm actually upset that I have to take the time to do this instead of being with her even though she's right here. I'm angry I have to put my attention here instead of on her. So listen because I'm only going to all this once."

I'm ready

"My girlfriend's name is Joanne. I grew up with her in Daegu when she moved here. She's a year younger than me. She's my best friend and I've been in love with her since we were young. And it's the same for her. She loves me. Things happened like me debuting and other stuff that got in the way of us being together. But we finally are and We've been together a year"

"Before we got together she was dating that murderer Han-jae Hwung. No she did not know he was a murderer when she got with him. Yes he abused her. He almost killed her a year ago but I got there in time and stopped him. At the time that was the worst night of my life. Until two weeks ago"

"Some people wonder why she stayed and let him do that to her."

I feel my emotions coming out and I know I'm going to cry but I'm going to try to minimize it

I have to get through this

"Sh..she let him do that to her for me. To protect me. He hates me. He threatened to kill me. He followed me and knew my schedule, knew when I was alone. He killed other people before."

I feel tears falling from my eyes as I remember

I still wish she would have told me what was going on

I would have handled it

I would have killed him if I knew he was hurting her

"As long as she stayed he wouldn't kill me. And she stayed. So don't ever EVER question if she loves me. She does, so much that she was willing to risk her life for me. Twice. If that's not proof enough then I don't know what to tell you"

I take another deep breath

I look at the comments

Absolutely nothing

This has never happened before

I figure they're all shocked

"All the injuries you probably read about are true. The stab wounds, the gun shots, the bruises and breaks. She can't talk. Her jaw was broken and is wired shut. She has pins in her eye socket and pins and plates in her collar bone.

But she kept fighting and she's alive."

Now I'm about to say things that will cause so much controversy but I don't care

They need to hear it

"To all those people saying that she should die, fuck you."

I hear her gasp but I'm so fucking angry

"Fuck you. You are horrible people. It's a miracle she survived and you have the audacity to say she should have died? She fought to be here and shouldn't have to hear or read shit like that."

"And everyone else who wants me to go on tour? What the hell is wrong with you? Do you actually think I could perform while she's here in the hospital? Do you really think I would ever leave her side for a tour? Do you think I would leave her side at all? The only way anyone can get me to leave her is if they kill me. I love her and would never leave her alone to recover by herself. Would you do that to someone you love? Why would you expect me to?"

I take a breath and continue

"For the people who think she doesn't deserve me, you have it entirely backwards. I don't deserve her. She was and still is willing to give her life for me. I don't deserve that. So don't ever say that she doesn't deserve me. She deserves someone better than me but I thank god she wants me."

That's the truth

And I will do everything in my power to be the boyfriend she deserves

I will move the earth for her

"As for the concert yesterday, those that are complaining about my members talking about Joanne need to get your priorities straight. They love her and she loves them.

Jungkook sees her as a big sister. Everyone always says how we all raised Jungkook. She was there too, helping us with him."

I look at the time and see I've been talking for 45 minute

I don't care, I'll take as long as I fucking need

"You all need to realize I don't belong to you. You don't own me. I have a life outside of BTS. And I want to keep that life private. It's not anyone else's business. I'm not yours, Joanne did not steal me from anyone. If you think like that then you have serious problems. I'm not yours. I'm hers and only hers. Do you think I'd ever want to be with someone who tells the girl I love to die? Do you really think I'd be with you? No fucking way. Those comments make me sick. Wishing she was dead then asking me to be with you? No. You have issues."

Those comments enrage me and I feel like throwing up when I read them

People have serious mental issues they need to work on

"I don't care that she's not Korean. I never cared about petty shit like that. She is beautiful and I love her the way she is. You're not better than her because you're Korean. You're just racist."

I'm aware that I'm getting very loud but I don't care

"You're not better than her, you're one of the worst people in the world. It's disgusting. You all have to realize that idols are people. We are not your property, we don't belong to you. We see the disgusting and sick things you say about and to us. How you want us to die because you don't like our face or how we dance or how we sing or rap. How you tell me that you wish her ex killed me instead."

They think that shit bothers me

"I don't care what you say about me. I don't care if you wish I was dead. Other idols may care but I could give less of a fuck. I care when you talk about someone I love, who has done nothing to you, who's done nothing except love me and be with me. If that's the only reason you hate her, then I feel sorry for you because that's sad. But don't you dare talk about her."

Time to end this

"And no I'm not leaving BTS and I'm not leaving Korea so those idiotic rumors need to end."

I stop talking and take a deep breath to calm myself

"That's all I have to say. Thank you to the ARMYS who send loving, kind and supportive messages and comments. Thank you for defending her, thank you for supporting her, thank you for loving her even though you haven't met her. It means a lot to me and her. I love you and so does she."

I end the vlive and turn to her

She holds up her paper pad, "Are you ok?"

"Yeah. Well as ok as I can be for having to do that."

She writes, "You know that video is going to go viral right? It's going to be all over the media"

"Good. It should be. People are delusional and they need to wake up."

"No idol has spoken to fans like that before. At least I don't think", she writes

"Well someone needed to and I'm pissed enough to do it. No one can talk about you like that and think I'm going to be silent and take it. They wanna shit on me, fine. But not you."

She smiles and writes, "My hero"

I laugh and walk over to her

I sit and pull her into my arms. "I'll be your hero jagi. I'll always protect you. I'll always save you"

She presses her lips to mine in a soft loving kiss that is amazing

I don't need her tongue down my throat to have epic kisses with her

Any kiss of hers is heaven

After, I settle in the bed with her and grab the remote for the tv

"Channel surfing?", I ask

She giggles, nodding and cuddling into me and I turn the TV on

CASE: A simple clear case is normally what they uses !! On occasions she’ll put a photocard of one of the members or another idol friend and will forget it’s in there and it become a guessing game among Carats on who the next photocard will be of.

EXTRA: She originally had the iPhone 12 in rose gold but one of the members hoshi had accidently knocked her phone out of her hand during dance practice break and shattered the screen. He apologized profusely and gold scolded by S.Coups and Josh for 15 minutes. Surprised her with her current phone while they were out to eat.

HER LOCKSCREEN + BACKGROUND:

SEUNGKWAN took her phone one time while the two of them were eating together at a restaurant the group frequents most nights.

This photo was the outcome along with a few other selcas he took.

She has this photo of SEUNGKWAN as her lockscreen because seeing the photo always makes her smile when she’s upset. Also the night he took it, the two had a very deep conversation that means a lot to the two of them.

A few members try and change her lockscreen to them but she, nine times out of ten, will change it back.

SPOTIFY - 100% her most used app on her personal phone ! Likes looking at the playlists Carats and other people save Seventeen’s songs or her songs in. Spotify is normally the app that is used to play music in the background of her VLIVES. Alsp likes putting podcasts on in the car when she’s driving or riding in the backseat with other members to schedules or other places.

NOTES APP - Where she writes down lyrics and small reminders to herself. Sometimes the members and her other friends will steal her phone and write little messages in her notes app for her to find later.

MESSAGES - The amount of group chat notifications she has muted is wild. The boys get very nosy when she’s texting someone so they always try and pry to see who it is.

YOUTUBE - If she’s not on Spotify, she’s on youtube. She also has a youtube channel that she also posts on she uploads a visual version of her podcast on there too !! She’ll also use Youtube for VLIVES as well for music streaming.

GOOGLE CHROME - She gets so many questions and as someone who refuses to ask the other members she will google it for her own sake.

VOICE MEMOS - Mainly uses this app to record how certain lyrics should should or how an instrumental should go. Like recording random sounds to use as instrumental pieces.

CAMERA - The amount of selfies she takes and photos with other people or things she finds pretty is outstanding. Many of the photos she takes never get posted as they purely for personal memory sake.

INSTAGRAM - Isn’t too big on social media but will often use instagram to keep up with what her friends back home in New York are doing + looking through other idols personal accounts.

TICKETMASTER - LOVES !! going to see her idol friends perform on tour. Also likes going to non-idol concerts with her friends when they have similar free time in their schedules.

SHAZAM - There are times where she is out and hears a song she either doesn’t know and likes the sound of or knows it but can’t remember the song. She used Shazam to the song to save for listening to it later.

this is a plotcall and an update; if you would like to plot, please like this post and i will hop into your dms.

it is an overall quiet period for polaris, but not for minhee. he starts off with a lovely solo debut with a single, on october 15th and promotes for three weeks. which he thinks is absolutely bullshit because he has two encore concerts to attend, so he might be a bit on edge during those few days but overall in a bright mood. he will happily give people he knows signed albums if they have any interest in it.

the meetings will irk him a bit, however, he thinks he is so desensitized about his time being eaten up by things he has no control over, so he will just stick through with it. nothing new, but he can feel the pressure building and he will do everything in his power to not slip into any bad habits.

however, they are in seoul, which means that he can finally meet old friends and make new ones, so if anyone would like to get to know him.. now is the time because he can sense another tour at the start of the new years, so pls he needs friends and acquaintances.

i don’t think he would willingly be at the base culture complex other than the day they have to perform, october 29th. however, if anyone would like company he will come join you.

its his birthday on november 22nd and he doesn’t have exact plans on celebrating it, but i am sure he will go on vlive for a few hours with a cake and stuff. just chat with fans and eventually call it a day.

during the end of year award shows, he will be your usual social butterfly and will try and talk to as many people as possible. for any of the younger groups, if you would like to exchange albums, this will be fun, and he will enjoy the new interactions.

It’s literally a cycle with jikook people will be like “they changed!!” just to be proven wrong over and over and over again. I personally don’t see what you are seeing so can you please elaborate?

Well first off, keep in mind I'm super new. Been at this 6 months. So, like, I probably know just enough to be dangerous, here.

I'm watching old and new content all at once, catching up. I've seen pre-pandemic Jikook constantly touch each other, compliment each other, flirt with each other, know private information and personal habits others don't, spend ridiculous amounts of down-time together, and while they did skinship with all members, there was this charged energy and heat around just them (to the point the other members used to groan and roll their eyes over it). I sensed a shift during the pandemic, but that was such a hard and uncertain time for everyone, their tour got canceled, they lost precious time before military service, everything was so stressful. But for me, doubts started creeping in in early 2022 when Jimin went radio silent. Then is mail, his address leaked, his apartment seizure scandal, his COVID and appendectomy, his fall on the Seoul stage, and the insane schedule, his barely promoted OST, the Grammys... and not one sign of support from JK, other than eating at a restaurant on White Day. There was some interaction at the Seoul concert but JK had a lot more interaction with other members. It was Vegas that made me think "oh, I was wrong, they're fine." All those moments on stage. The Vlive after. Going out to bbq late at night. Boxing together. Like, I was like "oh! It's just that we aren't SEEING as much of the evidence, probably because RUN isn't on anymore!" And maybe that's the cast post-Vegas concert. But I don't see JK being warm or supportive. And Jimin often looks down, stiff, a little cagey. I can't get a good read on JK (sometimes I wonder if I'm on the spectrum? I'm usually good at reading tone and facial expressions but he often comes off a bit blank to me). He just doesn't seem eager anymore to touch or flirt with or encourage or promote Jimin. So it doesn't jive with the older footage I'm working my way through. And I refuse to be gaslit or called a troll or anti. I LOVE Jimin and all BTS members. I fully admit I know almost nothing and could be a complete clown. I have no agenda, I'm just trying to understand. There was a time when JK used to look at Jimin like he hung the moon. Now he barely looks in Jimin's direction. Like, they went to the arcade with Hobi and Chris and HER, right? They were playing games, drinking beer, having fun. But there weren't couple-y vibes so much friendship vibes (in the admittedly short clips we saw on Insta). I hope the music performances coming up prove me a dead wrong FOOL. Maybe I'm just super insecure b/c I'm an adult child of divorce with trust issues. As long as Jimin and JK know where they are at with each other and are happy, I'm happy. They just don't seem to be super focused on each other right now and it has my antennae up.

JM JK timeline.- my observations how they grew over the years

Disclaimer: these are my own opinions and conclusions. Feel free to disagree, but hate or aggression will be unacceptable.

2017 - Part 3

Ooh, we have reached a major event here. Serendipity. 4 September 2017, or is it 1 September 2017 (??), as I will explain bellow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEMaH9Sm3lQ&t=16s .

Or what I like to call: JM’s love ode to JK.

Now tell me this: If Jimin’s song Serendipity was released 4th September 2017, and uploaded to BangtanTv on 5th September 2017, why is the date stamped on the MV 1 Sep 2017?

Does that date mean something? Let me think for a second….oh, it does, doesn’t it? It’s someone’s birthday !!!

JM tells us himself: “All of this isn’t just a coincidence”.

Serendipity is a beautiful love song, and I honestly believe it is JM’s love ode to JK, a birthday present to his love.

I am aware that Jimin is not the one who wrote the lyrics for the song. RM did though. RM, that at this point was very much aware of the relationship and JM’s great love for JK. RM that had written JK’s Begin, a song that everyone agrees is a very personal song of JK’s.

The “I am you, you are me” line actually originated from a song released by Zico in early 2016. There are theories that Jikook used a reference from that songs MV (the band aids on their fingers) during a Puma fan sign on April 2nd 2016. So, if this is true and the line had special meaning for them to start with, and it found it’s way into the song lyrics... feel free to make your conclusions...

And although we have no way of knowing just how involved JM was in the process of writing this song (did he ask for a love song? Did he give ideas to insert into the song, like destiny, not being a coincidence, the cat?), but at the end of the day, JM ‘owns’ the song, believes in what he is singing. When he talks about the song you can feel the emotional personal connection he has with the song. This is his song, and he sings it for JK. And JK knows this is Jimin’s gift to him.

JK’s reaction when JM says Serendipity is his favourite song. So cute. The thing with this one is that you could easily overlook it or not read too much into it. Only Suga’s reaction here is the tell all.

At the point that JK is acting all shy and smiley to himself, Suga moves closer to him, whispering “Jungkookah”, something that brings on a change to JK’s entire facial expression. There’s even a slight head nod from Suga when JK wipes the smile off his face.

Suga hinting to JK not to be so obvious, only made it more obvious. I also noticed that just before JM starts singing Serendipity, just after he was asked what his favourite song from the album is, JK looks sideways to Suga, as if he knows he isn’t supposed to react too obviously – looks a bit like little JK might have been scolded or reigned in prior to the live broadcast. Remember that this is really quite a short time after the song’s release, so JK’s excitement, happiness, is still really fresh. The song is for him, and it’s JM’s favourite...

I am not going to analyse the MV, but there are many who have done so before me. Was JM involved in the planning and did he have any input to the choices made? Idk. There is a similarity to the motif of the DNA MV. Is it a coincidence that the dominant colour used is JK’s favourite colour? Who knows. But doesn’t the song say “all of this is not a coincidence”?

Add to that JM starting to use the paw print emoji by JK’s name on Twitter? A coincidence? Mmm… interesting.

From this point on it is clear that “you are me, I am you” is a JM and JK thing.

21 September 2017 BTS comeback show. JK was in charge of putting together each of the members DNA. Very enjoyable. But why did JM have to mention again that JK comes to their room to sleep? Also, how does JK know that JM doesn’t wake up Hobi when he is playing games late at night? JM telling us how he now learnt how to play games – then what games was JM good last year (re: Vlive 22 April 2017)?

22 September 2017 Love Yourself fan sign– JM singing Serendipity, JK joining in. How happy JM looks when JK sings “just let me love you” with him all while making eye contact with each other at that point. The way JM looks at JK while singing the song. Singing to him.

Still think Serendipity is not JK and JM’s song?

They have a way of looking at one another that sometimes make me feel like I’m intruding on a very intimate moment.

24 September 2017 SBS Inkigayo Super concert – found it!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb-_jkdxgh4 start watching at 3.36min.

This is the one I remembered, where JM, saw the need to grab JK’s butt, run his hand up and down his back side, right through the crack, repeatedly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7fv0CaQT9M start watching 11:30min , JM walks to his place past JK, lightly brushing his hand against JK.

When I mention the brushes or light touches – this is what I mean (see attached photos). Obviously, there will be those who say it wasn’t intentional, that he was walking by him and didn’t mean to touch him. I say bollox to that (excuse the language).

First, there was plenty of room not to walk so close to JK. Second, if you notice, he circles JK only to make it back to the same actual side he was on to begin with. All he had to do was back up, just like JK did, and not circle JK to make it to his place on stage. Third, to me it looks as if he was aiming to touch JK’s hand, only it was too high up.

Another one I was looking for. I have seen this moment and wasn’t sure where or when it was from. This is one of those clips Jikook’s use to show Jimin being jealous, and to be honest, first time I saw it it made me wonder too. But watching it again and again, I have come to the conclusion that that wasn’t the issue.

To me this is more JM being protective than JM being Jealous. Setting the boundaries for V when it comes to JK, and it is something we see with JM more than once.

JM wasn’t happy. V wasn’t happy. Boundaries were set.

Tipsy JK must be a Jikooker. His guard is down, inhibitions are gone and he becomes really chatty and tends to say and do things that he most likely regrets later on. We didn’t see the members drink what seemed to be alcohol, but the vibe I got from JK’s talkativeness and behaviour during the live was that he was tipsy. Not outright drunk, but tipsy.

To the fan’s request to show his abs, JK starts checking himself out, looking under his T-shirt, only to be scolded by JM to keep it to himself. This is also the first time we hear him Jikooking, talking about eating with Jin and JM, referring to them as Jin-jikook, and then turning to JM, while the others try to call them by another name (I wonder why…). Did I not say tipsy JK is a Jikooker???

3 October 2017 Run BTS episode 22. https://www.vlive.tv/video/43438 start 7.00min.

JM turns to JK asking him to vote for him. The softness in JM’s voice when he asks him acting all coquettish. The way JM approached JK and the way he spoke to him, that’s not the way someone talks to his mate, or to his ‘brother’.

There was a softness in the approach to JK. coquettish is the only way I can describe it.

All JM had to say was one word – Jungkookah and JK, surprisingly (not) chose him. The look of joy on their faces at that point. And again the editors with the heart emoji effects. Uhm…

JM and JK’s team was the team chosen by the fans, and guess what song they both choose to sing, as JM piggy backed JK? Their song obviously… Serendipity.

And yet again, JM gets to tell us JK comes to his room to sleep. We hear you JM. We hear you.

JM gets flowers sent from his father. J-Hope and Suga pretend JM’s dad has arrived to surprise JM, Suga pointing and saying he saw him. JK slowly backs up, shocked and alarmed smile on his face, trying to move behind RM. Then the boys start laughing.

Now, why do I think this is a moment worthy of my timeline? Well, when the boys start laughing, revealing it was a joke, the one Suga points at, laughingly, is JK.

The whole thing feels like a joke on JK, not JM. JK is the one being teased. Why would JK be so stressed out from JM’s dad being there? And why would the boys be teasing him like that? Hm…

The funny thing is that the camera is on JK and Suga, not on JM, who was supposedly just told his father was there. That feels slightly strange to me. Wouldn’t they want to catch JM’s reaction? Not JK’s?

28-30 October 2017 JK and JM Tokyo trip together. This trip was long anticipated by JM. He had been looking forward for his trip with JK for a long time. It was a private trip planned and paid for by JK as a gift for JM. What we know about the trip is mostly what they tell us in retrospect.

Saying that, this was truly a memorable trip for them both, and they both can’t seem to shut up about it, talking about it at any possible moment. JK telling us how JM stayed up (only JM?) until 5 am, so they both woke up at 12pm and missed out on plans they had for the morning, JM tells how they went shopping in Harajuku, how during their trip was the longest walk they took, referring to their trip during interviews. As I mentioned – a memorable trip.

31 October 2017 - When returning from the trip JM posts a selca/selfie. I know I said I won’t be doing this, but rules are sometimes meant to be broken, and this specific selca is gorgeous, so…

Both acting cute together. For some reason, they are the only ones that are paired for the one on one interviews, when Suga, Jin and Hobi were all interviewed by themselves.

Felt like JM and inhibitions were strangers during the group interview.

Not really sure what JM was searching for in JK’s thigh during the group interview (when V was talking) – tupping, fingering and squeezing JK’s thigh. And yet again RM and J-Hope’s reactions to die for. Hobi eyes on the action throughout the whole episode, and RM when he notices, I would pay a lot of money to know what was going through his head at that point. My educated guess is: “God, please get me out of here, why did I agree to be the leader????” LOL.

Then when asked what their impressions were when coming to the dome, JM tells how JK was crying, all while caressing JK’s ear. JK tells how he was emotional, and they look at each other. All the while, RM’s face when JM touches JK’s ear, only to continue to place his hands on their shoulders respectively.

JM continues to surprise, telling viewers to anticipate for JK’s sweat. The minute he says that, RM turns to look towards Suga, the vibe I get is: “god, please help me here…”.

Then JM goes on to tell us how in his opinion JK’s sweat is beautiful, Holy water. What???? J-hope repeats JM’s Holy water, then glances for just a second towards RM and looks down nervously – great save Hobi.

The group interview was shot on JM’s birthday. Maybe that had something to do with his good un-inhibited mood.

8 November 2017 – GCF in Tokyo - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrTNLkqGrlc .

While the Tokyo trip was JK’s birthday gift or JM. GCF Tokyo is JK’s love ode to JM.

One of JK’s grand gestures. Up there with RB, as far as I am concerned.

This is not an analysis of GCFT, but I do have a few words to say on the matter. Explain why in my eyes this is a JK’s love ode to JM.

This video was filmed and edited by JK, and JK alone. It supposedly documents their trip together. It was his choice and his alone to edit and publish this video and did so to JM’s surprise.

In the video to start with, he lets us know that it’s the two of them, but from there on, other than seeing JK through the mirrors in the elevator while he is filming JM, the one we mostly see is JM. JM smiling, JM goofing around, JM eating, JM enjoying himself on the Tea Cup ride at Disneyland, JM walking, JM dancing, and as a whole just JM having the time of his life. For a video that is documenting a trip to Tokyo, there is not too much of Tokyo we get to see.

The end credits name JK as the photographer, director and editor, while naming JM as the actor.

There is a strong romantic vibe to the video.

JK’s editing choices, including his music choice for the video are well thought out. His choice to edit to the beat of the song. All cleverly thought out to accentuate both the footage and the lyrics of the song he chose: ‘There for you’ by Troye Sivan and Martin Garrix.

JM told us already: “this is not a coincidence”.

The level of preparation from JK, acquiring the rights to use the song, the amount of time it took to go over the footage and edit the video, all while managing to do that will a full working schedule (working throughout the night). This was clearly something big for him. His joy and pride when it was uploaded to Youtube, clearly showed, him smiley and dancing.

2 days prior to GCFT, on 6 November 2017, JM published his short clip of the trip. JM too took the time to edit a cute footage of the trip, documenting both of them having fun. Putting them both side by side only emphasizes the difference and showcases just how much GCFT was all about JM, being JK’s love ode to JM.

The loud cheers and joyful screams resonated through the concert hall after the enliven performance. "Army!!" Seokjin pushed all his breath in calling out the beloved fans only to raise a wave of cheer in the crowd. Even after so many concerts, the beautiful light sticks shining in the dark never fail to captivate you inside it's mesmerizing view. The purple ocean snatched your breath away. "We are so grateful that you all are here, I hope you had a great time" Namjoon made the finishing statement in english, it was the last day of LA tour. You smiled and waved at dedicated crowd. Every good thing comes to an end someday but when it does we can only hope for something new to happen.

"Oh my, that was so funny" Hoseok's laughs filled the backstage waiting room. "He was like-- Can call me artist, cancallmeidol" Jungkook teased his leader about the minute mistake he made, making everyone burst into laughter. "Oh I didn't realise it would come out that way" the leader stood his ground, defending himself. You sat on the sofa, your head arched back listening to the endless commotion and leg pulling. You are exhausted, but that wasn't really the problem. Your heart sank deeper every time you remembered it. The second last performance was your solo where you had to not only dance but sing and rap at the same time.

This was nothing to complain about, being an idol mean you should expertise your way into each and every aspect individually and at the same time learn how to master all of it at the same. But your exhaustion took a toll of you and during one perticular step your voice got breathless as it was unstable. You felt a concoction of humiliation and disappointment bubbling up inside you. "Noona, are you okay??" You picked up your head to see the maknae looking at you, full of concern. Even though no one really realised the mistake, you still felt guilty about it. "Is it time to leave?" You asked getting up with a smile plastered on your face.

"Yeah, come on" he ideally swang his arm over your shoulder and walked towards the black vans waiting outside. The ride back to hotel was pretty quiet, most of them were pretty exhausted and had already fell asleep, as you wonder how. You can never fall asleep in motion, it's on top of your 'things that I can't' list. Some of them were busy on their phone checking twitter and the tweets that ARMYs made about the concert laughing at the funny pictures that ARMYs posted of them performing. "Y/N ah, your performance was really good" Hoseok complimented, to which you smiled potraying your gratitude since it meant a lot coming from the lead dancer.

But you couldn't deny the fact that it had somehow peeled off the newly tapped band aid off your wound.

Stepping out the steamy hotel bathroom in a fresh pair of PJs you looked around the deluxe hotel room. Quickly talking out your phone, you settled it down on the table beside the bed and started a vlive. "Hello ARMY" you waved at the camera and sat on the edge of the bed. "We just got over with our LA tour and now I am in my room so I thought to go live" you said with a smile, your eyes quickly scanning through the comments trying to find if anyone would mention about the incident. Jimin's Birthday minus 3 - 2020 celebrations

In 2020, the world was in the middle of a global pandemic and by October most of us had spent months cooped up in our homes under strict curfews only permitted to leave the house for food, exercise or medical treatment. The pandemic torpedoed BTS's plans to undertake a world tour to promote Map of the Soul: 7. It was a difficult year for them and Jimin has spoken of his personal struggles to come to terms with this sudden change and the uncertainty over the future that this brought with it.

On the 10/10 and 11/10 BTS held on-line concerts for ARMY. At the end of the concert on the first day, Jimin was suddenly overcome with emotion. Through his tears he explained frankly and honestly the frustration he felt at not being able to perform and the memories that had come flooding back to him of previous concerts as he stood on stage in front of a sea of monitors filled with ARMY faces. He expressed the incomprehension of what had happened that we all felt at one moment or other during those horrible months.

Despite these feelings welling up every now and then, in many ways it was a very successful year for Jimin and BTS.

Dynamite was released in August and was immediately successful in South Korea and around the world. They performed it at the VMA in September and also at the Billboard Music Awards on the 14/10 where they also won Top Social Artist for the fourth consecutive year.

Jimin's birthday was obviously celebrated in a less public fashion than previous years. There were still messages from the members including this video from JHope.

the first and only time aria and ten had a duet was during their last concert on superm’s first world tour. during the second half of ten’s solo performance, aria emerged from the left side of the stage, coming to join him in the centre stage. no one had ever seen aria as serious as she was then, both herself and ten becoming completely different people in the moment. midway through, aria spun with her back to ten and leaped backwards into the air - eyes closed - completely trusting ten to be where she needed him to be to catch her.

honestly these two aren’t super close, just because their schedules never matched up until the NCT 2020 promotions

even when aria was dragged to the wayv dorms, xiaojun kept his distance from her because he didn’t want to make her uncomfortable

even so, when they were filming Make A Wish together, they seemed comfortable enough around each other

there was a mutual agreement to not try fill the silence with awkward small talk, so they sat in silence when left alone together

they’re both shy :( someone needs to get them to talk to each other :(

even so, aria was all supportive smiles and thumbs-up when she saw him getting nervous before their first public stage as the unit

he was a little intimidated of her at first, but also really curious about how she was holding her own against the other members

filming the Resonance “Wish” event, aria was put in a skimpy minimalistic mock-suit to differentiate from the others’ clothes. unfortunately, that left aria with a little too much shoulder and chest on display than she would like, and she was noticeably uncomfortable with her clothes, constantly pulling it up and even going so far as to just hold it with her hands.

hendery saw this, and knew he was finished filming his segment for the time being, so he pulled off his own jacket and tossed it over to aria, who caught it with a grateful smile. “thank you,” she mouthed to him, tugging the dark blue material over her shoulders.

Jikook and Chuseok

What is Chuseok? Chuseok is a 3 day long harvest festival during which families gather together from far and wide to share food and stories, spend quality time with one other, and give thanks to the ancestors for their blessings. They usually spend this time with their family. 2015 In 2015 BTS participated in the Idol Star Athletics Championships (ISAC) Chuseok Special. It was originally filmed in August, then broadcasted on the 28th September alongside Chuseok. That is when Jimin posted this jikook selca, telling people to go watch it. Both did 60km.

2016 In 2016 BTS again took part during the ISAC Chuseok Special. Jikook posted this video of them together, wishing everyone a Happy Chuseok. BTS also went vlive.

2017 In 2017 Chuseok lasted for 10 ten days, which was longer than most years. Big Hit released a statement that the members would rest during the holiday, before going to do their concerts in Osaka. It was revealed later on that Jikook were both at the dorm whilst the others were away.

2020 At 4am kst Jimin posted on Twitter. He explained that he was late posting about Hot 100 because he had been poorly and apologized. He then said "Enjoy Chuseok with your families! I love you" and posted a silent video with him and Jungkook together.

Jikook spending time together during Chuseok is something that karmy highlight a lot. It is an important holiday and there seems to be a pattern linked between them. This is a much more significant example of jikook spending time together and it should not be ignored. Please Note: In 2018 BTS were on tour over Chuseok. Jikook didn't post, but the famous eyebrow raise moment in Hamilton happened. In 2019 BTS were on vacation.

Do you think BigHit pays attention to how much things to show to be able to "please" each ship, esp the maknae ships? For example, If a run ep/any content showed a little bit more of vmin, it will somehow highlight jikook or taekook next. For sure, the boys are not faking their interactions, but do u think BigHit consciously monitor these interactions and edit it in a way that can avoid violent reactions from diff ship groups? I think the first major thing we need to remember is that BH is a company, and a company’s main purpose, above all else, is to generate revenue. Which isn’t a bad thing in this case seeing as, depending on how much BH makes, so do the members since their contracts, compared to others in the same industry, have some great percentages in their favor.

With that in mind, the answer to your question is a very simple and straight forward yes. BH monitors and plans things accordingly to please (paying) costumers, in the context of this answer, shippers. Fan service and showing certain interactions in certain ways are a great marketing tool that every idol agency uses for decades now, it isn’t anything new or revolutionary in any shape or form, though it’s clear that the type of fan service the BTS members do nowadays has changed in comparison to earlier years, like Jimin being required to perform shirtless at an award show.

In the context of this answer when using “ship”, I simply mean two members interacting with each other and are liked together by a certain community of people, and not actual pairs that have (in my opinion) chances or signs of being real (in a romantic sense) at all, except for vmin and namjin, since those are the only two we see as fulfilling that criteria of romantic potential and are the only two we focus on on this account. But that at large is a post/discussion for another time.

When it comes to showing different interactions between ships, or even really any kind of duo or trio in the group, editing and what does and doesn’t get shown certainly plays a role and follows some kind of idea as well. A good example of that would be how following the release of Dynamite there was a bigger “focus” on J*k*ok, seeing as they had their own moment together in the choreography and we were shown more of their interactions/”moments” in content around that time. But, while that satisfied one major ship and its devotees, it didn’t satisfy another, so it needed to be balanced out. Which is exactly what BH did.

More below the cut since this got a little long:

If you look at the Break the Silence: Persona movie commentary done by the members, the maknaes sit together in the middle of the sofa (and the screen) with JK between vmin, meaning that both major ships could pay attention to their two members and be “pleased” at the same time by any and all interactions or “moments”. A counter argument to moments involving all three of them working in a positive manner would be the Dynamite performance at Jimmy Fallon (x) that ended with the members skating around on roller-skates where at one point the maknaes were together, JK holding Tae’s wrist while Jimin had his hands on Tae’s hips (?). It was a cute and funny moment of them just helping Tae since he can’t skate, but it caused a plethora of negative/awful reactions among those who ship one and the other “main” maknae ship with, in both cases, either Jimin or Tae being on the receiving end of awful accusations, insults, and alike. Then again, to balance out J*k*ok Dynamite content, we can look at the BE-hind Story video where JK and Tae sat together and were seen interacting more, while Jimin interacted more with Yoongi, where Yo*nm*n is also a rather popular ship.

Perhaps it sounds mean or calculated or like I’m badmouthing other ships as just “tools”, but the thing we have to keep in mind is that every piece of content is planned in a certain manner (BTS are seven people after all so you can’t just tell them to do something and hope it’ll just magically work out somehow), is filmed by a giant crew of staff from stylists to PDs and lighting crews, and while there are certainly also genuine interactions between the members, simply because they enjoy spending together and interacting, being close and have no issue touching each other etc, many of these things are not really anything that would really count as “intimate” moments due to the nature of the content itself. But shippers oftentimes ignore that in favor of enjoying whatever content of their ship they are given, which makes sense, as vminnies and namjinists we do too, but we also know that BH certainly has a hand in what is and isn’t shown, and the way in which it is shown.

Look at the trailer for Memories of 2019 and the famous J*k*ok moment that was front and center. From a marketing standpoint it was a genius move since it made sure that shippers would go and buy the DVD regardless of its price. Look at what we’ve gotten for Winter Package 2021 so far, J*k*ok being playful in the trailer, T*ek*ok squished together in the picture on IG, and J*k*ok next to each other, along with Seokjin, in the preview pictures on Weverse. Of course, there was also a picture of Yoongi and Hoseok together (a popular ship) as well as Namjoon with Yoongi and Namjoon with Tae (far less popular), but those three aren’t really selling arguments the way the major maknae ships are. Even vmin isn’t, seeing as the vmin community is much, much smaller than the other two maknae ships, and also vmin moments are often times written off as ‘friends’ interacting anyway and thus not taken seriously (or being paid attention to), if you know what I mean.

(Admin 1: I, for one, would really love to own the 5th Muster DVD because I love the concert itself but also because the famous vmin dancing together to Spring Day sequence is immortalized in picture form in the photobook, so I’m not innocent or “different” in any way since I fall for this marketing stuff just as much as everyone else.)

But on the other hand, there’s also content that isn’t as controlled by BH as pre-recorded and edited videos or DVD’s, as in their vlives or live content, like the BE/LGO release day vlive in pajamas where, sure, the members were given a general plan of what they’ll be doing and a timeframe for it, but certain things seemed more spur-of-the-moment and unplanned, like the vmin lipstick moment (Tae putting on the lipstick was planned, but the final executions likely wasn’t) and the way the other members reacted to it. Or things they do at concerts, which some of it is surely also rehearsed and planned, we saw Hoseok ask JK if he’d do a heart with him at some point during one of the concerts, as example, or Tae and Seokjin planning their typical moment that happened at every concert, but other ones are more in the moment and not controlled.

When it comes to concert DVDs, that is again a different story seeing as a camera can only show as much at a time, so the editors are presented all the footage from the concert and then decide which to show and which not. So, if we see an interaction between JK and Hoseok, for example, at the same time somewhere else Namjoon might be dancing with Seokjin or vmin could be doing something, but we’d simply never know since they can’t show us everything.

That, in a way, is also the case with actual concerts where there’s a difference, somewhat, between concerts that get filmed for DVDs or streamed online, and those that are not. Something that comes to mind would be a vmin moment during Best of Me in Busan on the day that didn’t get filmed where they skipped the first half of the choreography and vmin stood together, half of that sequence being just visible in the background while JK is the primary focus of the cameras that are shown on the side screens, and this whole thing only happened this one time and never again. (x) That’s a moment that, in my opinion, isn’t planned, or other similar moments where vmin change the choreographies (even if just a little) to do something together, like during Spring Day during WINGS Tour Final where Jimin adjusted his solo moment so that he ended up in front of Tae. There’s also this whole mythos I’ve heard/read about a lot about how supposedly at some of the not filmed Japanese concerts (where I’m not sure if people mean LY:SY or just LY) had some crazy moments between the members (in the sense of “ship” moments and alike) BUT I couldn’t find any proof of that, so if someone perhaps knows anything about this, let me know.

Finally, there’s also things like Bon Voyage and In the SOOP which, you’d expect that they would be less edited and less controlled, but even here a selection takes place of which scenes are shown and which are not. Something I find interesting is how the first half of In the SOOP feels very different to how the second half does when they return to the house after being gone for a few days. In the first half vmin (as well as namjin) seemed to “satellite” around each other and interact much more, playing ping pong or doing things together in some shape or form, but in the second half that was (nearly) completely gone and neither interacted much with each other, if at all. We even had Jimin who outright refused to join Tae and Hoseok on their car adventure, or we saw Seokjin wake up Namjoon to go jogging yet never got to see said jogging happening (if it did happen, that is).

So, to sum all of this up: Yes, BH definitely monitors and guides the way certain things are and aren’t shown in order to achieve certain things or avoid certain reactions, though it’s a complex balancing act and doesn’t always work out. There are things that are unplanned and not controlled, of course, but there’s also a fair amount of marketing play involved.

After all BTS aren’t rookies anymore, instead they are giant household names and their actions and words move people, move money, and on top of that they are still idols, and part of what it means to be an idol is differentiating between your idol appearance/persona (so what we see in screen) and your personal private life, which is usually kept as secret as only possible. How much they themselves choose to share of their real selves and real feelings toward each other is up to them (as well as up to BH and how much they “allow” them to/don’t edit out). But that, too, is a whole other discussion for another time.
