Your boyfriends Toji and Gojo were knowingly attractive: no matter how many times they had been told like a record stuck in a loop, they would always respond the same way.
Gojo, being the charismatic and slightly egotistical person he was, beamed at every compliment and praise like a puppy begging you to pet him.
Toji was quite literally the opposite: if the words of praise weren't coming from your lips, he would often ignore them as if he hadn't heard the person confess their love for the sculpture of his sculpted muscles.
It was comical how plain the two men made you look standing beside them. Both men towered over your smaller stature, with Gojo clinging to you like you were the most prized possession he had ever owned.
Every once in a while, Toji would linger by your side with his hands in his pockets, and whenever he was feeling the neediest, he would reach for your arm.
His big hand was encasing yours, trying to lace his fingers between yours. The gesture would almost always make Gojo pout, wanting to feel included himself; he would force you to hold his hand as well.
You could only imagine how ridiculous you looked with both arms occupied by both men, trying not to fall to the ground at the comparison of their hand size compared to yours.
The more you hung out with the two, the more difficult it was to keep your kink secret hidden.

Some random sketches of the celestials because I made a majority of them before I developed a crippling minecraft addiction.
I will continue my trend of making super long posts but this one may be a bit shorter as a lot of the information on the celestials is very relevant to the plot of the melodious monster chronicles that I want to turn into a comic or something some day. So I don't want to spoil anything important for obvious reasons. I'm also very unmotivated to write a whole lot so that'll also make it shorter.
As you may notice the celestials look marginally different than their cannon designs. I usually like to keep the little details in my monster designs cannon compliant (I might end up redoing those blow't drawings for that and a few other reasons, I kinda messed with it a bit too much for my own tastes) but in this case I'm not drawing a standard individual of a species, there's only one of each celestial and each one is their own character so I want their designs to reflect their unique personalities and also to better reflect my own tastes. As for them being their own character all of them have their own names that I won't share as they aren't all that important. Also all the celestials have a sibling-like familial relationship because it's cute so there will be no celestial shipping here.
The celestials themselves are pretty much a pure organic form of their element's essence. The elements themselves are energy from the celestial's constellations so the celestial's physical forms are basically the personas of their constellations if you think about it.
The celestials also made the natural and ethereal monsters themselves with no help from the colossals or anything. I wanted to make the celestials more important and be on-par with the colossals in terms of power and influence over the monster world so I made them more responsible for things. I will try to explain how monster species are first made by just copying it from a document I made on how that happens. A lot of context is needed to understand the fundamentals of how my monster world works so some things may not make sense so if something confuses you, uh, idk just guess
"A species of monster is formed by a god manipulating some elemental essence that it’s able to control, then it mixes it with a compatible power element to animate the elemental energy into the lifeforce ( and body in most cases ) of a living sapient creature. The elements making up a true monster's lifeforce determines its species and class. Once a specific elemental “signature” has been associated with a species formed solely from it’s lifeforce, anything else made with that same “signature” will be that species.
The natural and ethereal monsters were created by Galvana with slight assistance from the other celestials when the ethereals were made. With its control over all the elements, Galvana wadded together elemental energy and zapped it to life forming the first single elementals. After a while with just them (and after the other celestials were fully aware of this project) the celestials began trying to mix even more elements together and then bring them to life. Turns out that worked and created unique species. "

As a certified Springtrap simp, which backstory for William do you prefer: one where he was a good dad driven mad maybe by jealousy or the loss of his youngest child, or one where he was always an abusive narcisist that cared for nobody but himself?
i feel like the, "im evil so i must also abuse my creations and/or children" has been really overdone. like idk im just tired of seeing it personally. and the whole "haha!!! im craaaazy!!" thing we get in the comics also rubs me the wrong way b/c. thats not. how he's portrayed in the games at all. esp hearing him in sister location he feels like he would be a calm sort of madness. he seems like a rational guy. he doesnt talk like that. he doesnt act like that. it seems really contradictory
i feel like him being a good dad (or at the least caring deeply for his children) gives him more urgency and like,,,,makes sense w/what we're given. it aligns the most w/the theories we have asta why he started killing etc. i also just enjoy the tragedy of it. he started out as a good guy w/good intentions and then was twisted inta something unrecognizable b/c he was so focused on tryin ta reach his goal. personally my hc is that he was jelly of henry and then the death of crying child tipped him over the edge and started his whole killing thing. imo its better than, "hee hoo i was evil FOREVER!! im PURE evil and have always been EVIL!!!" like. okay. wheres the subsistence?? give him depth dammit
why would he build a robot for his daughter if he didnt love her. why would he tell crying child he would put him back together if he didnt love him (not really cemented as something he said, but i mean who else would say it?? certainly not michael he was a boy. i think as a fandom we assume its heavily implied). it makes the afton kid's deaths so much more impactful. the prospect of this man losing pieces of his life bit by bit and being driven insane by it is enthralling
i love a good chaotic descent. i love thinking abt him being consumed w/a need ta revive his own son becoming obsessed w/life and death as a result. oh the irony of loving your own kid so much you would take others children away from them, knowing how losing your own felt. and the twisting of emotions as he sees his son michael someone who he would've died for, try ta stop him. b/c hes not understanding, they need ta b together again. thats all hes tryin ta do. get his family back tagether. and all these fucking obstacles are in the way of his only goal. and the manifestation of hatred of his own son b/c of this. b/c hes getting in his way. like, talk abt juicy. i want that man ruined. it just adds a layer of psychological torture that i just adore. william fucking ruined everything. he ruined his own happy family, he ruined his own life, and if he actually mourns that? chefs kiss.
my thought is, why even have him have a family in the first place if they're just there ta demonstrate he's evil? seeing the afton family purely as a plot device, we already know afton killed kids. one can assume a person who kills kids is a bad person (maybe? see this is where the juiciness comes in w/him caring for his children. is it really bad from his perspective if hes trying ta save his kid? or is it noble?) so we dont need ta b demonstrated ta that hes a bad person again. if hes just pure evil from the get go it doesnt make sense ta me ta have the afton kids be prominent in the story (besides michael, but even then he could probably be replaced by one of the victims family members) when you could illustrate the same point by focusing on the kids hes killed and their families. why do the afton kids matter if he treats all children the same. why are we focusing so much on the afton family and what appear ta b major story beats in their story, especially since the children he has killed do not get as fleshed out as the aftons do. i feel like if his family wasnt important ta him we wouldnt hear abt it at all. you could achieve the same message by making him single and childless.
do u kno how many stories there are of "Righteous Child Of A Horrible Guy Who Hates Everything, Even Their Own Family, Goes Out Ta Stop Their Parent And Save The Day" there are? its b/c its too easy!!! its too easy for u ta assume that a character is the worst and has been the worst forever!!! its too easy ta assume that an evil character would abuse their family!!! its too easy ta assume an evil character wouldn't have traits besides jealousy, hatred and narcissism!!!!

I always enjoyed reading LO, though as of late I've gotten more critical of it and aware of the flaws in storytelling, art, pacing, etc (one can still like trash while recognizing it's trash, I guess), and it's been super weird being the only one in my friend group who's not seeing it as this perfect flawless comic anymore. Your retelling so far has been super refreshing and a joy to read, the art and character design is recognizable yet distinct and great on its own (I LOVE YOUR DIONYSUS SO MUCH HOLY CRAP HE'S SO GOOD), and like... I'm interested in where things are going! It's fun reading this! I still do enjoy LO (maybe it's the sunk cost fallacy, idk), but I'm invested in your version so much more now. So thank you for your work, it's really great :)
I know the story is focused more on H&P than the mostly cast of side characters, but are there any other myths that might get revisited as well? Eros/Psyche, maybe Ariadne since Dio is here...?
Absolutely, I say it a lot when the topic of "LO stans vs. LO critics" comes up but none of the criticism is meant to be persuasive debating, while it can be frustrating to voice our criticisms and be met with "yeah well that's just your opinion", we're also not criticizing the comic purely to convince you that it's trash, we're legit just engaging with the comic in our own way. The best way any LO fan can react to it is either to acknowledge the criticisms and move on, or not go out actively seeking the criticism in the first place if it's something that bugs them. But in the end, no one is talking about the comic in this way as a means to strong arm people into riffing on LO, we'll still be talking about it way past everyone's bedtimes regardless of whether or not you chime in and/or agree. I think a lot of people who enjoy LO have a hard time separating those two things because they love the comic so much that any criticism is automatically flagged as "they're trying to make a hater out of me". And yeah, maybe we are a little bit (because it's fun to riff on this comic and the crit community has genuinely some of the nicest and funniest and most creative people I've ever met) but for the most part it's not our goal to make you hate the comic, we can't take your enjoyment of it away from you, even if you do recognize its flaws yourself. By all means, enjoy LO if you want to, we won't try and tell you not to! Just don't think that gives you permission to tell the critics to stop criticizing because that's a double standard we just ain't gonna stand for LMAO
All that aside, I'm glad you're enjoying Rekindled! As for the other stories, I'm trying to reel in Rekindled's plot to focus solely on H x P because I feel like that's what it should have stayed as. One of Rachel's biggest mistakes IMO was when she stated she "wanted to include as many myths as possible" because it's clear it's resulted in her prioritizing low effort Google-level lip service and Marvel-esque nostalgia referencing over telling an actual cohesive story. I'm taking a lot of the additional myths that Rachel tried to do in LO and leaving them on the cutting room floor, but when Rekindled is done, I'm hoping to pick up what was discarded and do them as little side stories after the fact. I feel like that's the best way to do it especially considering so many of the myths Rachel included didn't happen until after Hades and Persephone were married (including Eros and Psyche). I'd especially love to tackle Orpheus and Eurydice, it's one of my favorite myths :) Dio x Ariadne is also one I'm hoping to tackle, though that one I'll probably work more into Rekindled itself as Dio plays a huge role in Persephone's character arc, we'll see !

for starts yes i AM working on it, i actually started recently and it’s so much easier writing for girls since i have more fun so i feel it maaayyyyyyy get done quicker. but i also want to come on and say that yes, while i will be posting it to tumblr, i think i might make it on wattpad too. its only because i feel like it might be easier for people to read if they read it on wattpad to just scroll and also people usually read series on wattpad and come to tumblr if they wanna read oneshots (beside like oneshot books). and also i like how i can just brainstorm it all together on wattpad and make it look all pretty so… anyways with my AMAZING graphic design skills lemme start showing sneak peaks 😒😒
you can see a little peak of the cover 🤭 BAHAHAHAH but yeah this is what i have going on so far. im also an extreme perfectionist and because i made the wattpad cover start with the capitalization i refuse to not make the titles or writing be lowercase.
ANYWAYS! to start, i usually write gwen with spider gwen in mind so her age is usually between 16-18 in my stuff with the acception of the fics i do that specifically link to spiderverse but she usually is her comic 17-18 version. but for the plot i am gonna take HEAVY inspiration from one of the gwenom comics but its also gonna be based on the comic where she is starting college but when the plot starts she’s already been like a student maybe like a year in.
and secondly….this will NOT be the gwen we know and love or should i say the gwen YALL know and love. i kinda want to mess with her characterization to make it interesting like yes gwen is gonna be the awkward but nice girl but also like because i want this au version of earth 65 to be a little melancholy or dark vibes to it she WILL be a bit of an asshole at times, real cocky, and so on- like it’s gonna be so fun UGH!!
thirdly, im not sure if there is gonna be downright smut in this. like again, ik i have written “suggestive” content like my makeouts because i don’t necessarily write for strictly spiderverse gwen but just a whole amalgamation of it and its always based on comics so she’s like 17-18. i’m bringing this up because if you read carmilla- CMON NOW😭😭😭 there will be the suggestive scenes but idk if imma do it because while this will be the college version of gwen from the comics around 18-19 like i never wrote stuff like that and also don’t wanna perpetuate or feed content to the predator gwen fans on ANY platform. not like carmilla is heavy in sex i just wanna preface that because it’s always weird when people utilize au from something heavily sexual so it implies that the content WILL be sexual and not that that’s wrong in this case i just wanna let yall know you can expect content but not THAT content.
LASTLY the plot is lowkey short like i haven’t fleshed it out yet because i haven’t been having fun on tumblr when i write for guys so i wanna have fun with this and take my time writing the chapters before even releasing them so i don’t worry about dates for theme. but it won’t be like an intense lead rn it’s looking like MAYBE 15 chapters? possibly 20. i want a good balance of plot heavy and also gwen content in it that is sub plots to intensify the main plot (someone break me out of ap lang im gnawing at the enclosure) but i’m still working on it.
so yeah this is just little teasers for now and y’all can tell me what you think. im making little notes and stuff and im gonna woke on the plot and then just get straight to writing so i can just post a chapter weekly until we at the end so it gives me time to sprinkle other stuff in as well. i been over astv and just wanna write for my favorite women so this is me taking my stand on business 😒

-Spoiler warning for both Trigun animes and the manga
Trigun ‘98 is Vash telling the events of what happened.
Trigun Stampede is Knives telling his version.
Just kinda my way of looking at it, it isn’t a theory or anything. Headcanon maybe.
Read on for a ramble on this
98 was goofy, light hearted, and really kept a lot of Vashes charisma and silliness.
In the 98 version, consider the amount that Vash says ‘I’m actually strongly against suicide!’ - if you know the plot of the manga and how Vash and Knives reacted to Tessla, it makes sense he may say that after he attempted way back as a child.
Even portrayals of villains were sometimes comical. Wolfwood and Vash were magnetic. The many instances where they teamed up were comically filled with chemistry, like Vash and Nicholas knew each other well enough that they moved in sync. It showed the parts of him that were human.
Also, I think it’s important to point out how we don’t know about Knives until like, the very end of the series. From the flashback of Vash and Knives before the crash onward the series changed massively in tone. Immediately as we learned who Knives was and who he was to Vash. Even then, Knives feels a bit like a stranger even in the end. Vash carrying Knives after the fight against him to the city to seemingly care for him…idk it seems like that would be the way Vash tries to come to terms with it all. And clearly he never gave up on Knives, which is why he was going to help him recover.
Then think of Stampede. Things were utterly bleak. Humor is very rare, and almost always stemming directly from Vash. Because why would knives even consider any humans funny? Its a very ‘polished’ version of Vash. In the sense that he’s not as loud and goofy as 98. He’s closer to the vision perhaps of what Knives wants his brother to be.
Think about how little we actually see if wolfwood and what he’s like when we do see him. Overwhelmingly more negative, more cold. Clearly not even trying to fake that he’s content with life. Knives wouldn’t see the man Vash sees, even if he tried to.
The larger focus on Knives in stampede also just makes it seem more from his perspective. The scenes of knives at the piano, playing the duet over and over again after hundreds of years. We don’t get as many intimate quiet moments with Vash, all the little domestic things that are so human. Vash hardly mentions how much he loves food. BECAUSE KNIVES HATED THAT. Vash needed to eat, and that in a way made him see that as a defect in him. A very small detail but like, makes sense to me.
Yeah I’m really going on and it’s legit just my brain going “oh shit- what if?” just a little bit of the word vomit in my brain. I have so many more things I’ve been like “that’s not how Vash would see things” or “that’s knifes vision.” I love both versions so much for different reasons, and they are very different experiences. OOAKAYOAOKAKY to begin. Major disclaimer i am a HUGE ons fan, genuinely i got into the series in 2015 and i am Still here and actively creatign shit for these dudes with a stupid ass poster right above my head as i type this. ...........Now. that fact goes hand in hand with the fact i fucking hate ons and most importantly i hate kagami takaya (the author).
AS YOU SAID. ons started out really strong with a super cool concept and the characters are likeable as HELL. which is so fun because as soon as you get further into ons, kagami decides to drop literally everything that made the story enjoyable and instead focus majorly and literally Only about the plot. its like he has this idea and he wants to get it through to us which most of the time is fine!!! but like he creates these awesome characters that get left in the fucking DUST.
HELL!! as of rn im pretty sure we haven't seen the rest of shinoa's squad (only mika and yuu) since last year!!!!!!!!!!!! AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON WHEREVER THE HELL NARUMI WENT!!!!!!!!!
literally the whole story is almost. half baked. that's how i'd describe it like. world building fucking sucks he like sets the table only to leave you starving with that shit. he's like "hey there's monsters in the ocean!!" only to never ever have the characters interact with the ocean. there's a whole page discussing the ocean and we never fucking go into the ocean. all of these characters have really interesting back stories and character motivations and ideals and YADDA YADDA and he just. its like he ?? gave up. with trying to do anything more than stupid comic relief dialogue and nailing in this whole idea of family and whatever the hell he jsut fucking left them to die!!! the last interesting chapter we had on how a character felt was like. idk 103. and we are at like 130 nwo its literally hell.
don't even get me started on the theme of found family that has been there from the very start. not only did it NEVER reach its potential but we straight up!!! don't get fucking ANYTHING other than what yuu goes with these days of like. "oh everyones family and can do no wrong . <3" and then you turn and there's kimizuki that's supposed to have betrayed everyone for his blood family (which he lost literally in minutes. it was so brushed over and not even emotionally investing WHICH IS A LOSS) BUT NEVER BECOMES A MAJOR CONFLICT WHERE IT COULD??? LIKE... IDK IF I WERE WRITING THE STORY I WOULD MAKE IT SO THAT THIS WHOLE IDEA OF FAMILY IS DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH. like. ESPECIALLY how shinoa squad is just . Told to be a family. by the military. and then they're basically only able to bond a little bit before mika is back and suddenly yuu and mika fuck off to do everything with hardly anymore group bonding which sucks it so sucks
THERES JUST. AHHH THERE'S SO MUCH LOST POTENTIAL IN TRYING TO MAKE A "cool" STORY!!! it ISN'T EVEN COOL ANYMORE!!!! there's just too much information unfolding all at once that has TERRIBLE pacing and it's like. impossible to fucking care about. there were literally dramatic gay angels that romeo and juliet'd their way to death but its NOT a big deal in the major public cause it was like. One chapter to care about them. Then boom they're dead. he sucks at this. all major reveals are rushed and pointless while other plot points earlier in the story are unresolved or just so painted over by other useless shit that they're unrecognizable now
sorry that's like. this has been all complaining and not more about what i wish would happen. what i wish Would've happened. which do not get me wrong i ALSO think a lot about that (<- would like to do a major fix it fic for the entirety of ons one day)
but what i wish wouldve happened? i wish we could've seen more of the squad interacting. i wish that they were friends worth dying for before mika and yuu reunited. i wish that we got to see mika and narumi integrating into the group instead of that whole 2 or 4 months where they were new just. being completely skipped. i wish that yuu and guren would fight for real, without yuu just being like "oh he's family im sure he is in the right somehow." i want him to beat and get beaten in return. to cry over it. to not understand and be misunderstood in return. i want him to be more than a one dimensional protagonist. we literally have the bones for something so great in him and all kagami is doing with it is just saying his soul is just a mika from millions of years ago.
iii . idont know. literally the only fleshed out relationship in this stupid series is mikayuu which like , Yaay. i guess. but also man i want to see the others. i want the girls to be written better. if i wrote the thing i'd have shinoa as a co-protagonist. because she is literally so fucking fundamentally important but just straight up every cool thing she ever could've amounted to is reduced to just. "little girl in love" which sucks. it sucks. it all sucks so much. she had like a fucking god inside her like since birth and the release of him was just over and done with. we got a sickass line where she goes "oh my body doesn't feel like mine anymore" . never expanded on. shes like fine now. she should be so fucked up she could be so fucked up and shes nottttt
anyways again i love ons. although i remake it in my head every day. i hope this answered your question somewhat i think i lost track

BASICALLYY the transformers r alien robots from the planet cybertron!! they are fighting a civil war and eventually all the fighting wrecks the planet n the battle gets moved 2 earth!! there r two sides, the good guys called the autobots (led by a guy called optimus prime he is popular n beloved in the franchise n fandom) and the evil bad guys r called the Decepticons!! they are led by their evil leader Megatron!! OP and megs are sworn enemies n fight sm, the wars been going on for like over 4 million years (these guys live a LONGGG time) on earth, the autobots r nicer and treat the humans better than the cons anyways (tho no bot/con is rlly pure their like all war criminals LMAOOO) u would not BELIEVEE their mfing drama!! the pettyness of these mech mfs fr
ANYWAYZZ another rlly cool thing abt the series is the many canon queer bots!!! :D their mostly in the idw comics tho, such as the comic series 'more than meets than the eye' and lost light' which features multiple main characters who r gay and have a bunch of mlm relationships, as well as lost light having some t4t lesbians who r prominent EEE it so cool to see!! another example of transgenderformers is in the newest show 'transformers earthspark' which features one of the main characters who is nonbinary!! their sooo cool :]!!

Something I've been turning over in my head is 1. A universe where the fourth world is more integrated to the dcu, ie Orion befriending the jl on first contact 2. What his and Scott's relationship would look like because comics sure don't care
I've been holding off on answering this because I had to do some reading first.
For #1 in your ask, I wanted to check on two things. The first being the League's reaction to Orion and Lightray wanting to join up. Turns out they just kind of took it in stride? At least as far as I could tell. There was no revelation of "oh wow these are gods" or talk of what it is for them to work with metahumans (or Martians or whoever). The adventures were what I'd expect from comics, but nothing deeper, which was a bit disappointing. Orion and Lightray were treated as just any ol' superheroes in the handful I looked at.
The second thing I wanted to check was Superman's interaction with the New Gods in the original Kirby comics, since he's more or less the only Leaguer that comes in contact with them. I knew in Forever People that he caught his first glimpse of Super Town, which he desperately wanted to visit. So much so that he almost left others in need in order to possibly find a place where he might fit in. Of course he turns back at the last moment and stays on Earth. And it's not until much later in Jimmy Olsen #147 that Superman finally makes his way to New Genesis. The gods treat him like he's nothing special, which in some ways was what he wanted. But he didn't know their customs, and he found out he wasn't needed there. He ends up talking to Highfather (unbeknownst to him), and with some guiding wisdom comes to realize he feels most fulfilled on Earth helping others who do need him.
All that is really a tangent from this ask, but wow there was just so much more depth and emotion packed into that small mini plot compared to anything I saw about Orion and Lightray joining the League. So idk it was just something to mentally chew on, and I'd like to see more of that level of depth if a first contact story was ever revisited.
And like, if nothing else, it would be interesting to see it done properly. It makes sense. Even since the beginning of New Gods Orion wants to protect people from Earth. He becomes its defender in a sense, and I don't really see anything like that about him these days. Where is the New Gods' desire to protect life and nature and culture? Why aren't we getting any of that?
I'd like to see Orion (as representative of New Genesis) and the JL mutually respecting what each other are doing. Their ways may seem strange to each other, but like recognizes like, and I think they would end up being very complementary. It could open up not just more stories of New Gods in modern day comics, but it would also mean seeing how our other favorite heroes might react when visiting Super Town or the bug colony or any of those places. There's just so much untapped potential, and DC wants to throw it all away in order to make Orion a one-dimensional war monger.

For #2 of your ask.. yeah what's up with that? I went and looked through all issues where both Orion and Scott appeared, just skimming them or at least checking the wiki to see if they were any more than a cameo. And you're right. There's not a lot of interaction of significance with respect to their backgrounds. Here's what I found.
Mister Miracle 1989 #27 - Orion speaks to Highfather while waiting for Scott to arrive at a League party. He says, "After all, he's my brother in a sense -- your real son -- and yet I hardly know him..." But then nothing comes of that interaction.
New Gods 1989 #18 - Scott, Orion and Lightray are summoned on Earth by Highfather who appears to them in a vision to warn them of Yuga Khan. Scott and Orion exchange words about their roots, but not anything really related to their siblinghood. Here's the dialog:
- Scott: "Orion, why has Highfather called us here?"
- Orion: "You recall your roots in New Genesis, Scott Free? I thought you were now of Earth."
- Scott: "Yes I live among the people here... and the Justice League... I-I can never forget my birthright -- but I don't know anymore."
- Orion: "There are those on New Genesis who fear that you have forgotten -- That you are no longer one of us."
- Scott: "I'm still the son of Highfather, Orion... As you are the son of Darkseid."
- Orion: "Do not remind me."
- Scott: "And so, I'll listen to Highfather, then make my own choice."
- Orion: "As I expected, coming from one who has been so long away from our wars."
Orion #16 - Having removed Orion from Apokolips, dooming him to be stuck in essentially purgatory, Scott goes to the wall and speaks to Highfather's image there. He obviously feels something towards his birthfather, and says he respected Orion. But he's more concerned with if he did the right thing in general, not if he had betrayed a brother.
Orion #25 - Scott approaches Orion on Earth after the dust clears. They have an altercation, but eventually Orion calms down. Scott talks to him about fighting for freedom, and even makes the observation, "After all, your specialty is killing, and mine is staying alive." Once again, they don't talk about their siblinghood or origins or what that means for them.
There are of course many other interactions, but they're all business as usual. Nothing much about specifically their relation to each other from what I found in my week of research. If you know of something definitely share it because I'd love to be wrong about this.
I will say that I definitely agree that it would be SO interesting to explore their relationship more. I myself am adopted, and I'll probably make a separate post about that sometime since this is so long already, but let's just say I definitely have feelings and thoughts on the matter.
Thank you for sending in what was probably an off-the-cuff ask for fun, that I ended up getting way too invested in lol. It was a good impetus to looking into some of the comics I hadn't encountered yet.
Oh! And as a last note on the Orion and Scott thing, there was a comedic two page one-shot in Solo #7 where Orion wanted to test Scott's ability to escape anything, so he cuffed him, knocked him out with a rock, put a plastic bag over his head, covered him in atomic glue, put him in a fuel-soaked body bag, then tossed him into an Apokoliptan firepit. It was all very silly. So as farcical as it was, perhaps young Orion and Scott would've gotten into those kind of hijinks as kids if they had grown up together. 😂

LMAO HIII um im not actually a starbee shipper nor am i really a headcanons haver 😅 HOWEVER i am a huge fan of whatever the fuck was going on with their exrid almost-friendship-mutual-i-need-to-fix-him ghost bee arc dynamic so i do have some thoughts on them under the cut if u are interested. as for headcanons i have exactly one (1) and its this:

i need to preface this by saying i absolutely hate what the autobots stand for in idw1 and i despise rid2012 with a passion, especially for how they wrote bee (autobot regime police brutality sweep??????????????). despite this, i am incredibly delusional and so i pretend that what happened isnt real. also it's been awhile since i read/skimmed through any tf comics, so i could be misremembering things or forgetting events, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
first of all i think they probably had a lot of issues with each other over the whole leadership thing. like, imagine being the guy whose own worst enemy is his leader, and has fought his entire life throughout the war to usurp him and take over his faction. like youve got so much goddamn beef with this guy and you hate everything he stands for and he hates you and you've suffered so much at this guy's hands, and after so many years, through your own scheming and plotting and killing you're able to stand at the top of cybertron as its leader!! and then in strolls the guy from the opposite faction who is The Optimus Prime Numero Uno guy, and in case that wasnt enough, he was literally handed the leadership role on a silver platter. somehow he doesnt even want the role - thinks he's too unprepared for it or some shit. idk, i just think that theres a lot of foil potential here that was missed, and instead bee was just reduced to the guy cracking various "im dead" jokes while nitpicking every single action starscream took. sure there was some back and forth between the two with morality and Why Didn't You Just Do The Right Thing and whatnot, and their bantering was fun (especially the part where bee actually disappears for a bit after screamer tells him to fuck off) but i think it couldve gone a lot deeper, and a lot more personal. what im trying to say here is that it's Very Bumblebee to try and fix literally the worst guy he knows (barring prowl), but realistically i dont think he wouldve done much to change 4 million years of habits and flaws and the 50 mental illnesses starscream had built up (if anything, starscream mightve taken the actions bee "convinced him to" regardless of what was said - remember how he kept convincing himself that bee was just "his own guilty conscience" - meaning that everything bee says is something he already thinks about, whether subconsciously or not). instead, starscream shouldve been able to convince bee to stop parasocialing op. like, i know bee being op's Most Son Ever and his belief in op being infallible is one of his biggest character flaws, but it wouldve been really cool and awesome character growth for bee to be like Wow, i actually dont think op shouldve annexed the earth that one time in the name of the matrix or whatever.
tldr if starbee was more mentally ill they wouldve been closer to each other. and also hated each other more. and then canon wouldve been so much more enjoyable to me.

Hi love your art!
I agree with you SAMS was a really fun show, the gameplay used to have a little bit of lore or sometimes it was connected to the previous the episode.
But now what do we have? We have a lot of plot holes like for example:
-How did Bloodmoon got out of Sun's mind? Connected to a computer? Did he turn into goo and walked out? (If that's the case wouldn't sun notice it?).
-What happened to Eclipse's feelings? (From the October episode that i don't remember the name but basically he said something along the lines of "why do i care?" Or idk)
-What was Lunar's original plan? (Like we know he was plotting something from when he said something along the lines of "everything is going according to plan").
-What the hell happened in the first episode we saw Moon's mind (i don't remember the name of the episode but it's a recent one, but a lot of Persona references in that episode).
And those are some of them that I can think right now i know there's more out there.
I really was hoping something more interesting with KC, Bloodmoon, and Eclipse i mean i don't know why but i felt like it was going to be an amazing plot, but i think it got scrapped because they had to rush the arrival of the MOST AMAZING SISTER IN THE WHOLE WORLD (notice the sarcasm) Earth. Including the video where the creator basically tells sun about the arrival of this sister felt really really rushed (I'm no video editor/actor so i don't know).
I wish they could've expanded more on what's going on Moon's mind not just the episode where the files got corrupted and we only got to see the Computer's side and the first meeting of them, like more inner thoughts, I mean if they were going off persona 5 with the palaces, you really got to see the person who they were and it physically represent how they view the world and it would've been a great idea to keep KC as a code and have Moon confront himself (a physical manifestation of KC) just like in Persona 4, or have Sun along side Lunar or someone else to battle against Shadow Moon (in this case KC) because maybe after the battle he will have his treasure stolen and wake up feeling better and maybe just maybe apologize to sun. But the way the executed that it wasn't good, i think they just forgot about it and prioritized Sun effing up the runes to bring back the magic and have a touchy moment with the sister.
KC going to Kmart and seeing Glamrock Freddy which was supposed to be his "redemption" felt more like a joke. I thought that KC taking over Moon's body would've triggered something within moon because he doesn't like being trapped inside his head (or so he screamed in the episodes prior of Eclipse and Lunar taking over) also with KC taking over him I thought he was going to be mischievous.
I don't know why but i have a gut feeling that now that Eclipse has the star, he is going to be convinced either by Earth (because power of words and friendship (sarcasm)) or someone else would be like "please we need to get moon back to his original form" and Eclipse will give the star to help the cause.

Blood moon coming back as a ghost was maybe to make the fans shut up over Sun being an "evil asshole like Eclipse" for killing a literal murder animatronic.. since there is no way.. NO WAY he can be a ghost.. its a damn robot!! but I do gotta say.. I do hope he may be fully back, he is wasted potential for a comic villain..
-Eclipse going back to his "wanna rule the world" type of mind its trully annoying.. some ppl managed to guess when that ep was posted that maybe Eclipse pushed Lunar away because he didnt knew how to feel loved, Lunar was so caring so nicer to him! , something too new for Eclipse, who was pushed away, treated like trash and talked down by Moon, (plus, his egocentric, manipulator minset had to come from someone.. dont ya think?) but any change for a developent was trashed when KC showed up again..there was so many ways his character could have develop, but he didnt..
I guess lunar plan was to just free Moon, and then.. leave? as he sounded very suprised Moon allowed him to stay.. him being a more "silly but still mature" was great, he had the early mindset of Sun, but the determination of Moon.. then for some reason he lost his smart and now is "bean baby".. ugh
-Moon mind its just a lot of nonsense..wasted potential again..
KC being another face for Moon could have been soo much better.. since KC its just a code line , who affected him , it could have been a perfect way to show the two sides of Moon !
one that wanted to change and be better and other who wanted to do as told, kill and rule! two desires wearing two faces!
KC being a dad was odd, I thought it would be just a joke.. since Moon was always the more grounded, the more "mature" it made sence KC took a more "im your dad" type of mind set..as a joke..
the chances for a dymanic of good vs evil! in the most dumb , hilarious and silly drama way was there but nooo they had to be soo "edgy" too "dark"..it stupid..
and totally, that video was so many errors.. Sun model doesnt even move!
we know they can not do battles but I SEE your point.. its sound WAAAY better to what we got.. a more serious aproach to Moon mental state.. the brother coming along to help one of them.. a more meanful bonding time..
since its no surprise, Moon is not an angel. he is an asshole, liar who often put his problems first, then looks at the rest.. maybe by accident? but he is somewhat toxic, but that could have been fixed so much better..
I honestly see Eclipe trying to get rid of any other universe, do a thanos snap , but then , by some DUMB ASS reason, be defeated
someone gets the star, save Moon ass, he gets to learn NOTHING, Earth gets to stay , Lunar comes back and Sun gets even more ignored..
and .. honestly.. I dont hate the show.. I just wish they took the drama way and was focused on a actually well written story,, its clearly they make up things as they go.. and .. I dont like it..
at the end of the day, its a silly channel.. I rather see other thing to have fun.. have you hear of murder drones?~

I'm new to tumblr and looking to start my own visual stories. I stumbled upon yours through the suggestions and I am INVESTED. Raubae is a beautiful man and Wolfram and he are a beautiful couple!
Can you give a noob visual storyteller pointers on how to get started with their own comics?
OMG THANK YOU!!! 😭 I'm totally normal about them. I also want to apologize for Tumblr being a bit of a mess in terms of following the comics. Highly recommend the Carrd for chronological links.
As for comics - I'm far from an expert but I do see myself getting better with each one I make so hopefully some of this will help. 🤞
Read a bunch of different types of graphic novels. Pick the ones you like the most and pay attention to how they do things. I personally like lots of dialogue and character development, dramatic lighting, and focusing on facial expressions. Others focus on the action or scenery. Some a mix of both (which I'm working towards). Just find inspiration in what you love and let it help you find your style. 😁 Looking into how comics are made and what the different speech bubbles mean/text decoration/etc was helpful.
Use Clip Studio Paint or a program like it. Basically you want something that will let you cut out comic frames and add dialogue boxes easily. It really streamlines the workflow.
Write out "scripts" before GPosing. I know some folks who can freestyle but for me scripts with minor stage direction and dialogue have helped a lot. I have a different numbered line for each GPose I need to take too.
Everyone does plot/characterization differently. IDK if you were curious about that but I personally focus my plot around 3 main storylines - WolfBahn relationship arc, Wolfram's voidsent problem/past trauma, and MSQ. These plotlines overlap A LOT and come to a head in Endwalker. A lot of folks focus on their OC (I of course do.) but its also nice to develop the NPCs in some way. Most of Raubahn's development comes from MSQ which makes that easy but I do take time to touch on some of the things MSQ doesn't cover heavily like his recovery after being rescued from Halatali or the toll fighting to liberate Ala Mhigo takes on him. So I guess I just think - stories are more engaging if you flesh out the NPCs a bit. That may be personal preference though...
Really know your characters. I've found answering WoLQoTDs helps a ton. Along those lines - a timeline of their major events. Mine includes Eorzean events like The Autumn War and Garlean invasion of Ala Mhigo so I can fit my character's story in with the greater world. Before starting the comics I had a summary of his story on his Carrd (it's down now though). I also made a family tree. Replaying cutscenes helps get me in the zone to write too. Knowing them really well makes the writing flow pretty effortlessly.
Spend the time to edit each screenshot. I didn't do enough of this starting out and regret it. Even just upping the sharpness makes a big difference. Highly reccomend hitting it with the dodge/burn if you have time. The images will be smaller than most gposes so zooming in or cropping closer can help show the fine details (another place CSP shines).
Make dialogue box text large enough so that the majority of users on mobile won't need to zoom in. What I've been doing is 50 in CSP.
This one I don't do - but I should. Have someone with good grammar who also actually enjoys your story go over your comic before you post it. Ideally over the script as well. They'll point out grammatical mistakes but also since they're fans they may have some cool character insights you hadn't thought of!
Don't be discouraged if you get less "likes" than you do for GPoses. I usually get way less. On the flip side I get more actual interaction with the comics. Nice convos. It's how I've met some of my best buddies! So it's a good trade-off IMO. Most important of all - it's FUN to tell stories!

about duet being an inciting incident, i could only GUESS as to what the gangs situation was like prior to duets encounter. but arthur in the comic dismisses lewis as soon as he mentions him. and THIS??
ITS JUST A LINE. BUT IT SHOWS that the gang avoided anything to do with lewis. and thus, without duet slapping arthur in the face with cryptic literature, they wouldve probably been stuck in a depressing state of avoidism. which DOESNT MOVE A PLOT. BUT DUET DID!!! DUET THE FUCKING MADMAN
duet literally couldve had SO MUCH CONTROL over the gang. in the beginning at least- from encountering arthur at his most vulnerable state (which would be easier to influence), to giving the magic book, to telling arthur to get some gas for the van. that seems like a minor detail but imagine if they didnt and went to a gas station instead of the mansion. duet couldve literally had their ENTIRE ROAD TRIP planned out.
and another note- this???
theres a lot of things to note about the comic panel by itself -how a book connected to duet has vines? connection to shiromori or rose thorns that point to lewis- AND THE COLOR IN ARTHURS EYES which does sort of resemble the possession and control reverb had over him. could this be a way of duet controlling arthurs will? but theyre both purple which caught my attention because COLOR IS IMPORTANT!!! it might be a stretch but it really is in msa. and i dont think duet and lewis would team up necessarily- i doubt theyd have the same motives. but duet isnt just 'the weird boss of tome tomb' theyre so much more CAPABLE. they could possibly forsee the future and shit?? IDK??
and going back to chloe- while i feel she has a bit of a motive to mess with the gang -its immature but a motive. go look at her wiki for an idea- duet could have the actual CAPABILITIES to put a plan into motion. a theory i saw stated that chloe was the 'SOLO' in reverbs intro, and thus a contrast to her friend duet, but could it also be that SOLO is an alternate name for duet themself? its just something to speculate, if one or the other could be malicious, or both.
OK RANT PART TWO: NOBODY FUCKING WRITES DUET and neither do i.. yet. but i rarely see them mentioned either!! WHICH SUCKS BECAUSE THE CANON HAS LITERALLY SHOWN THEM TO BE A SIGNIFICANT TOOL IN DRIVING MSAs PLOT. BEING THE INCITING INCIDENT.
this isnt so prominent in my fics, theyre mentioned in both of my published ones though- in full bloom, they say an odd phrase to vivi, just as they did to arthur in canon. it doesnt really do anything BUT i plan to utilize it in a possible sequel
in my BACKROOMS FIC THOUGH? theyre.. not mentioned that much either oops. but it goes to show just how odd an interpretation of duet could get. i stated earlier that duet possibly had control over the gangs future, part magic part manipulation, and thats fine in canon. they probably have good motives by pushing the gang together and FORCING them to make up- but in the backrooms fic, the gang literally ends up in a fucked up world and one of them ends up DEAD. like. if duet was aware of such a thing, and led the gang with full intentions to such a thing..
like- do you see what im saying? there could be tons of aus where just a touch of their influence fucks everyone up and turns them into a darker character than what they are right now. AND I LOVE MAKING FUCKED UP BLORBOS. PLEASE WRITE DUET AND CHLOE MORE OR AT LEAST IMPLEMENT THEM INTO PLOTS THEYRE THERE TO DO SHIT LET EM DO SHIT!!!!

oh boy that's SUCH a good question
the tl;dr is that Magic's official story has generally been told via a sort of slapdash combination of tie-in novels (in Actual Book Form) + short stories (posted on their website)
and of those two, the short stories are generally *stronger* and sometimes really quite good, but unfortunately the design-by-committee approach to the overall story does hamper their impact somewhat
the LONGER answer is:
* in the beginning MtG's storyline was told primarily via little bits of flavor text on cards, vibes, and maybe the occasional comic in a magazine or something
* and it really wasn't so much a *story* as it was history... set dressing that told you how this world came to be
* they made a concerted effort at telling an actual STORY on the cards beginning with the Weatherlight set in 1997, with mixed results. nerds like me loved collecting the cards and trying to carefully piece all the flavor text together into something coherent; most people were like "uhhh idk what's going on, but this Gerard guy pops up a lot i guess?"
* so then they tried publishing tie-in novels because this was the era of That Giant Shelf O' Shitty Trade Paperback Fantasy Novels At Your Local Barnes & Noble (feat. Mercedes Lackey)
* unfortunately the authors they chose were mostly bad, and when they weren't bad, they were working under insane deadlines to get a novel out in time for the launch of the accompanying set
* eventually someone noticed the novels weren't making any fucking money and killed them
* for a while they decided Vibes TM was all you needed for storytelling
* but eventually they noticed Superhero Stories TM featuring a Strong Central Protagonist TM worked way better for mass-market storytelling than their admittedly extremely WEIRD original conception of planeswalkers as basically-gods
* so they downgraded the powerlevel of planeswalkers massively, so they could be cool superhero-type heroes instead of actual gods
* and eventually they decided short-stories-building-toward-a-whole on their website was a cool way to tell the story of their planeswalkers
* this was actually a very good idea, and well-suited to the type of storytelling MtG does best (i think its universe really does work better with vignettes-tied-into-a-whole rather than constantly trying to make everything about Jace fucking Beleren)
* but unfortunately they REALLY bought into this "everything needs to be about planeswalkers" shit, so the storytelling has felt kind of samey and stale in that comic-book-y way where you desperately wish someone would do a reboot or something
if you ever want to dig into MtG lore i highly recommend this absurdly-well-researched, lengthy thread on the mtgsalvation forums. weatherlight was really flawed but i also think it was MtG storytelling at its best and i still think about Volrath like once a week, okay dweebing out over BYE

One of the things I hate about spiderman is that they like to reboot him back to 0. Like all the character development, the bits and pieces of victories , his relationships and general happiness all get wipe clean. Just to keep the fuckjng status quo. And its not just peter, the do this with everyone and now I have a feeling with the upcoming movie, they are going to do this with miles.
I won’t say you’re wrong about the rebooting. In the comics they seem to do something of a soft (or hard) rehash and reset of his character and relationships whenever they switch writers or even just after a massive arc. One of my biggest gripes is actually the (sort of recent) Back to Basics arc, because of how poorly it handled MJ and Peter fixing the emotional issues that led to the previous breakup to begin with. There’s a lot of that lately—making problems seem like a big deal (or that should be big deals) then steamrolling over it and pretending it wasn’t an issue to start with. I’m not super happy with the direction Spider-man comics have been going in the last few years. Genuinely started falling off the wagon shortly after the Kindred fiasco. I’m just sick of the same five characters facing the same three issues, you know? I want more dynamic growth in the comics, not issues that are passively resolved and then don’t affect Peter at all going forward. It’s exhausting to consume content that’s repetitive like that tbh. And maybe some people disagree and like the recent arcs! There were certainly some parts in there that were good, or at least entertaining. I liked seeing Ben, liked less what happened after, but at least I got to see him. I liked parts of the Kindred arc because of the aspects of Peter’s rage, trauma, and attachments to others that were tapped into. Did I agree with other bits? Not really. Anyway, moving on from that.
I don’t know what to expect from the new movie. I don’t read a lot of solo runs / series outside of Spider-man, DD, and Deadpool, unless big events are happening, so I can’t really speak for other characters. I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone else was getting the same poor treatment when it comes to development and complex plot. A lot of stuff is being done to cater to the masses rather than focus on the actual story. It’s lacking love. Movie-wise, idk if Miles is going to go through a reboot, only because the medium is different. It seems to be moving forward from the first one. I think I’ll be happy with it as long as they don’t repeat the moral dilemmas of the previous movie tbh.
