after another listen i think enchanted tv's fine if youve never heard the original. its just fine they just made it so much less epic ???????? bombastic ?????? dramatic ??/??? than the original like the drums are so sad when they crash into the chorus and the filter thing over the please dont be in love with someone else is worse now and she doesnt elongate the "dont you let it go" after the bridge like she did in the og and the PINGS GOT MESSED UP IN THE SESCOND VERSE

What was y’all’s favourite book in TMI? My favourite, personally, was City of Lost Souls. I couldn’t tell you why, but it’s just been my favourite for as long as I remember. The travel, the tension, the sudden shift in pace and atmosphere, it just altered my younger self’s brain chemistry the first time I read it.

I just listened to this song for the first time in over 6 years and I'm bawling my eyes out I still love them dearly after all this time

The first half of the first set of lyrics is about one of my favorite scenes in DSMP, where Tommy uses a trident to shoot out of some water and up up up into the sky, sailing past the clouds. He hovers for a second or two, suspended in midair, and simply says, “I’m alone” before falling back down.

I wasn’t feeling C'est Comme Ça when I first listened to it but fuck me the chorus has been rattling around in my head constantly ever since.

I got a bit crazy and manic and in 5 days I built 2 low flutes and a tagelharpa cello with no prior knowledge on how to build any instrument.
The crush has come.
My body aches all over, my right arm is about to fall off, I don't think I can hold a pen for the next week, I'm overwhelmed and tired, there's sawdust and chipped wood everywhere, I've cried for the past 15 minute, I want chocolate.
#tho if you're curious flutes are crazy easy to build#I've made mine with just a pvc tube i had laying around and a cork#don't believe those who tell you tagelharpas are easy tho#i mean they are#but if you want them to sound good a box and three pegs aren't enough like those you see around the internet#I've learned more from violin makers than i have ever known through living#like did you know that the holes in the body of string instruments aren't what catches the sound of the strings?#they do the opposite#the sound comes from the bridge that makes the wall of the body vibrate amd the hole propells it foreward#I'm probably just dumb and this was common knowledge to you but let me tell you I didn't see it coming#anyway turns out tagelharpas sound a lot better with a bassbar and a sound post#and if you don't know what those are go to the luthiers on youtube#and to find where to place those you need math#you also need math to know the ratio of everything#but you can also just make a box with three pegs and not empty yourself of every drop of dopamine in your body#personal

#absolutely crazy to me that there are so many songs....#something is just so off about the production in a lot of these#first off the lover first dance remix is superior and should be the album version#the strings and the piano????
