GWAAAAAHAVAHAHA just finished reading the hs^2 update, here's some notes with the least amount of spoilers I can manage
the art is AMAZING the gifs are back baby and you can tell how much work is put into every single one of these, i had to stop myself from downloading all the panels just cause they looked pretty
I caught some references to.. "recent" memes i guess? [ you can't exactly call "little lad who loves berries and cream" recent but the other two were ] they felt super out of place <— which made them WONDERFULLY DELIGHTFUL you will not catch me slandering them here, i loved them, caught me off guard, loved them
they're taking this in the most amazing direction it can go, cliffhanger for the new species (( on what's called a .bro file which. OUGH so good ily ult dirk you're weird )) arasol complicated relationship, sollux roxy friendship!! terezi and ult dirk being on each others cocks, john facing his own emotions agAIN, oh and terezi also had to!! yay! development. so good

ORIGIN STORY TIME!!
Thanks to the recent hype, I'm being reabsorbed into the Blue Lock franchise/fandom. My sleep schedule has shifted back from 12:00AM to 3:00AM. I've been high off of endorphins reading the official paperbacks, and now hangovers are whooping my gluteus maximus. ;-;
Anyway, it all starts with my love for ma boi, Nagi. I read this series back in 2020 or 2021, and to this day, one of my favorite scenes is the one where he scores the first goal at the U-20 match. So, naturally, I wanted to set my new phone wallpaper as that!
30 minutes of Googling, Binging, and Pinteresting... nothing.
How?
IDK.
With no satisfactory wallpaper, I looked at my drawing tablet and thought, Well, fak it. Imma do it myself. *inserts Thanos meme*
And that's how the nightmare started. :D
I find my references, and BAM. Sketch done. Pretty EZ cuz I had a solid vision in mind already.
A quick greyscale filling and dramatic eye color.... and I was done!
But on hon hon! YOU FOOL!
Curled like a shrimp, I stared at my new lockscreen. (Maybe this is a lesson for me to never stare at my art for more than 5 minutes.) Strangely, I felt a churn of dissatisfaction (or midnight hunger).

i know quite people are begging this lovely writer to update an epilogue for ATW or even asking updates of By Dawn but we never really had your answers *sad cries* until my email beeps that you actually posted another fic *holy moly*
And it’s freakin 1950’s. FOR REAL guys read it the title is “From Afar” and honestly Hans I’m kind of scared it has a cutesy vibes but at the same time it screams disaster and chaos just like the movie Edge of Love (ik ik, you’re a fan of Cillian just like moralee!)
Again, the writing is incredible im forever a fan. But pls Hans, could you please update By Dawn too? That story got me on chokehold I don’t know how I actually read that because I’m literally bawling every chapters but it’s still freaking beautiful

Wow, this is a long ask indeed! I don’t know what to answer first, it has been a while but please let me express my gratitude first. The amount of support I am still getting is very flattering and heart warming so thank you very much.
It has been two years since the last chapter of After The War, and I swear that I’ve tried to write an epilogue, but then tossed it right into the bin because there has been some changes I want to revise with the whole story. It feels like the story is still lacking plots, and I’m really not satisfied with the whole outcome and grammatical error…I’m still at Chapter 3 revision, and it’s taking me a long time and it’s killing me too.
While By Dawn, I’ll Leave is like the skeleton meme that was left chained at the bottom of the pool LOL I’m very kidding but yes, a year had already passed since I last updated a new chapter. To give you my answer, I have a draft of the next chapter — around 3,000 words but I definitely feel the need to drop a hell of a long chapter in regards to the POV of whom character I am writing…I think that this chapter should express the missing details (I know some of the readers are left hanging and dissatisfied with Levi and Mikasa’s choices) to give way that both of the characters suffered equally in their own way…alright no spoilers. Haha
And of course, I almost forgot! From Afar — 1950’s and stuff…I’m getting a lot of suggestions to write a 50’s one so here I tried. Tackles about the 1940-50’s, I actually don’t know how to react with that opinion of yours but it did make me laugh. The chaos and disaster, hmm…maybe? But it’s not going to land like The Edge of Love for sure, I don’t want Mikasa to be milking Levi’s military pension the way Vera did it to William (Cillian Murphy)! Hahaha, maybe the vibes, you know, I’m still head over heels towards Cillian as Levi and so on.

And it’s a delicious thought; that Yorinobu’s survival is decided on her whim. Maybe if he knew that he wouldn’t have tried fucking her around, instead ordering Adam to kill her the moment he felt her gaze sharpen against his back.
One of the more recent additions to her playlist due to the fact I feel like I don't explore or put forward how truly cruel this woman can be.
I needed a little reminder of that and what better way than the theme from one of my favourite horror franchises. There's something about 2:23 onwards that really meshes with her; the potential for tragedy that builds into something decidedly not in that vein.
Call Me Cruella
Victoria hums, amused but there’s an edge to it. A sharp point aiming squarely at the man across the room. “He’s a nobody.” She hisses, venom finally curling around her tongue and dousing the words.
I refuse to watch the film this song is from but my goddd if there's a single song that suits Ms Victoria Crane near perfectly its this one; the sheer unapologetic nature of indulging in one's own awfulness and THRIVING for it. The threads of vanity and fashion throughout the lyrics are just perfect too, esp for my fashion-indulgent lil bitch tbh
Villain
Victoria’s violence is different, much different than hers and Adam’s; an insidious flow of insults off a barbed tongue, coated in a soft rasp that makes the horrid words pleasant to listen to. Different and bloodless, yet entrancing all the same.
While I adore Call Me Cruella and do consider it largely Victoria's 'song;' this was what I had playing constantly throughout all of her development. It was probably what had me lean into making her a corpo since I wasn't happy with her in the Street-kid origin, and just making her unapologetically a villain.

And she would never accuse him of being soft, even in his gentler moments there’s a risk of cutting herself against him. Both literally and not. But there’s something cautious to him now, a lightness to his touch, a hesitance that strikes her as odd.
“Adam?” She breathes out into the dark of the room, watching the barest glints of light shift against the edges of his frame. His optics brighten minutely, a barely-there flash of surprise and his hand pauses, knuckles gentle in their rest against her cheek.
and this is just purely there for self-indulgence. hozier just has me in a chokehold and there's something about this one of his that lowkey fits Victoria/Adam and the thing they both refuse to put a name to for the longest time.

...so i'm back with an update <3
okay so uhhhh i'm back after like 2 flipping years of not updating my interactions with A (well i was active but it was just manifesting because the universe is on my side).
i graduated a little while back :D so that's pretty cool!! pretty emotional day because it meant A and i wouldn't be in the same school and that pretty much was the only reason i dragged myself to school D: it was still pretty cool tho and we shared a lot of sweet memories but i realised that i had to part away from him now that i moved into a new stage of my life (we still got a lot of photos and he met my parents which went well so yay). And i thought it was the end of that...
UNTIL NOW because of course I couldn't come back to this weird diary of mine without a great update.
I still kept in contact with my tc (biggest W of my life) met up with my friends and spent the summer just settling in to my new stage of life, and eventually got accepted into a university (how g r e a t).
tell me why my tc is my uni professor after i thought that my senior years of dreaming about him were over. I KID YOU NOT, i stood there a pointed like that one spiderman meme, like my dude wtf are you doing here. THIS MAN decided to message me being all like "surprise XD" like WDYM SURPRISE. But uni has been great because once again, my tc has consumed my life (thats a good thing btw if he somehow reads this) and now the only reason i even go is because of him.
So during my lecture, we were working on this assignment thing and my laptop was not helping me to save my life D:< and A is just walking around (i genuinely forgot how tall this dude was like sir ruin me-) and helping people out and THE AMOUNT OF TIMES HE SAT NEXT TO ME WAS WOAHHH
and it wouldn't stop there, he started to like circle my right thigh underneath the desk like super slowly and i nearly choked while trying to keep my composure. The way his hand was travelling like sir, those fingers can go somewhere else- and the ENTIRE TIME I SAT THERE JUST CRACKING MY FINGERS OR PLAYING WITH MY LAPTOP TO NOT JUST EVAPORATE like the chokehold this man has on me is unbelievable. The past two weeks since I graduated
- watched a season of riverdale. It’s so entertaining but I’ve stopped at s2e3 may continue sooner or later but I’m already feeling it start to fall off. Idk normally I can’t stand how stupid cw shows are but this one just has me tbh. I thought it was all memes but no it’s like why am I taking this drama seriously
- played the sims 3 and started a simblr. I’m trying to do a 10 Gen legacy challenge and my 3rd Gen are kids rn. The 2nd Gen girl was a bit of a thot she had two kids by a man and a woman using woohooer but tbh the canon explanation could be anything. I think she was born a cis girl since she was the one pregnant for both but the first Gen founder was also fruity and got Holly alto pregnant so we’re gonna say either she’s trans or there was an ivf situation. Since the baby shared their genetics though I feel like it’s mostly likely she’s trans we love that. Really hoping I don’t get bored or the save corrupts bc im kind of invested in getting as much progress on this as I can
I’m trying to update the simblr on my iPad but the iPad keyboard is genuinely so annoying like it actually hurts my hand to type and also the tumblr app is a bit shitty bc why is the poll option in the middle of the bottom bar when you make a post. And when you add a poll you can’t remove it from the post without remaking it, at least on mobile. It’s actually annoying to do this but I’ve always wanted to so we move
Generally been watching a lot of plumbella too like the sims has me ina chokehold rn. I was playing 2 a bit earlier this week but ngl while I love the interactions in 2 (the romance and cinematics especially are peak) I prefer the gameplay of 3 and the open world. Only a few things abt it annoy me like routing which is a problem in every sim game so doesn’t count and the fucking incessant phone calls. I don’t wanna turn off opportunities I just want to reduce the amount. Even the paparazzi I’ve adjusted to but the phone calls are just 😑
Finally started watching hill house again. Forgot I was watching this tbh but it’s so good. i discovered ur blog by a total accident, looking for something to read, while scrolling through heeseung tag (cuz im a simp) i saw the babysitters club teaser, and i was rly excited to say the least, after u posted i honestly fell in love with ur writing style, the way u describe things and the amazing plot <33, i remember i reread it with heart eyes, not kidding
so naturally i started reading all the other fics for enhypen boys and the current heeseung series has me in chokehold!!! it's truly amazing and im always super super excited for fridays! the story line is phenomenal even though hee is a silly boy *sigh* hope he will do better!

Never have I seen a better use of this meme here:

To give you more context: our charming rapist of a minister of Interior (the equivalent of secretary of State in the US) is trying to push a law that would, among other lovely things, prevent journalists from filming the police during protests and whatnot. It's called "Sécurité globale" and the point of this law is to avoid having those policemen's faces on the internet, so they don't get harassed.
Sweet, right? This law would give the police the right to decide when they don't want to be filmed, which means they get to legally remove and destroy evidence whenever they see fit. Evidence of what, you may ask?
Oh, well this for example:

Those are high school students, by the way. They were forced to kneel in the mud because they were "disrupting" during a protest. The video (taken by a policeman) is appalling. You can hear the guys openly mocking the kids, and saying how "well behaved" they were now that they were on their knees.
Another example would be the guy whose jaw and teeth got smashed out by the police during a protest in my hometown. He wasn't part of it, he was just going to the bakery to get breakfast and he was taken into the crossfire, dragged and rounded by the police. The pictures are graphic but he basically have a bloody mouth and no teeth thanks to them.
And don't even get me started the yellow vests movement. The ER reported that they had patients coming in with wounds you'd usually see during a war. We're talking missing fingers and botched eyes. We're talking death and coma because the police is shooting rubber bullets and aiming the canons at their heads.
Those whinny crybabies literally went on strike to defend their right to use a lethal chokehold. They cried so hard the government caved.
Freedom of press, my ass. Only when it suits them.
If this law passes, it'll mark the end of journalism here. So I'm urging you, people from neighboring countries, spread the fuck out of their faces. Show it to the world and have them face their responsibilities. Hold them accountable because soon enough, we won’t be able to.

Rowan is a good kid... Most of the time. He is otherwise mischevious and filled with wanderlust. He tends to be the one to wander off in markets and in the forest surrounding Arbor Station, much to his parents’ worry. And he usually comes home covered in sticks, mud, and scratches after his little ventures. Mostly from wildcats and birds he tries to befriend, or the Zestrals (A tropical variant of the Axebeak that is green except for its red-tipped wing feathers and belly.) that Arbor Station uses for transport instead of horses or other beast of burden because they can navigate difficult terrain with ease.
Ailsalea on the other hand is a rather introverted and shy child who rarely one to stray from her mother or father. But despite her clinginess to her parents, she wants to be a paladin like her parents, and studies under both the teachings of Milil and Varina, as well as the two orders her parents belong to’s differing fighting styles.
Special Talents: Rowan is an excellent ventriloquist and pick-pocket. The latter is something Merrin and Andraste berate him for constantly. He’s also retained so of the innate magic full drow are capable of. Ailsalea can talk to animals and sylvan entities.
Who they like better: Rowan likes mom better. She is slightly more lenient with him than Merrin. His twin sister is slightly more of a daddy’s girl.
Who they take after more: Rowan? Behaves much like his father did when he was little. Ailsalea takes after her parents in equal parts.
Personal headcanon: Rowan is going to eventually going to become a roguish bard. But he’ll at least stop trying to steal from good people... Ailsalea will be sick frequently until she becomes adequate enough as a paladin to fight back the chokehold disease had on her growing up, however, she will never get over her allergy to the pollen of the Samru Tree, a fruit tree that is native to the area that produces bioluminescent blue flowers that then produce semi-sweet, neon-pink, fruit. They taste similar to oranges, but have the texture of grapes.
