My hyperfixation has returned! They'll adapt more of the books!

Dreamworks, I only have one request I wish to make.

It ain't big.

But for this sequel, PLEASE bring these back:

Even if it's just for a single scene. X'D These onesies are too adorable and silly to not be a mainstay of the movie franchise. Fits the characters well in my opinion.

There could be a gag where Diane's gang get's them their "heist suits". X'D

I'm really excited for both sequels of the bad guys & zootopia releasing next year (maybe a bit more for tbg). What I'm NOT excited about is the potential war between fandoms seeing as both movies release 3 months apart. What I'm asking is: please no war! Everyone's allowed to love what they like, no matter how good they are & their performance at the box office. You can also like both, you now.

Besides, despite having similar themes, each is unique:

The bad guys movie is an adaptation by dreamworks based on Aaron Blabey's 2014 graphic novels by the same name & zootopia is an original disney franchise.

I’m curious how hard Dreamworks will go with Bad Guys 2.

Like, I’m sure this movie’s going to focus on the alien reveal and invasion attempt, but will it also be emotional?

Gonna be hard to do with all those butts on screen, not to mention the temptation of foreshadowing jokes.

Forget fandom expectations, this movie will probably define my faith in Universal’s ownership.

We have sequel of the bad guys

2 years ago today, The Bad Guys released in theaters! Based on the australian book series by Aaron Blabey.

A sequel is currently in the making, coming to theaters August 1st, 2025.

((This is for Mun: how do you feel about the announcement of the bad guys sequel coming so soon? What happened if disprove everything on this blog? How are you going to recon it?))

((I am SUPER excited! ^_^ With how big the first movie was, this was bound to happen! I can't wait to see my favorite characters go on a new crazy wacky adventure as reformed vigilantes.

I already have a idea how to retcon the events of the blog if this ask blog continues to that point.

The book series deals with alternate universes, and I thought I mix that concept up with this blog to add in characters without worry. This blog being a "what if" post-movie universe.

So when the sequel does come out and I am done with my story arc, I'll do a multidimensional event where the gang meets the characters of the Bad Guys 2 universe and we can transfer to that continuity. Some things will stay the same, but'll line up with the current movie continuity better.

Maybe even do a thing where the book characters get involved too, as the book series will be over by then.))

The Bad Guys sequel idea

I have an idea for a potential sequel for The Bad Guys.

Professor Marmalade escapes from prison and forms his own gang just to get revenge on Mr. Wolf and the Bad Guys.

This gang will be called... The Worse Guys.

Here are some members that could be in the gang:

- Mr. Vulture

- Mr. Crocodile (or Miss Crocodile, I dunno, I haven’t decided yet...)

- Miss Skunk

- Mr. Rat

- Mr. Roach

I might even draw these characters someday...

I just want to see The Bad Guys have a sequel, where they encounter a rival gang, consisting of anthro animals, just like them.
