Bbq (pt5) ~ egg bagel
You wake up at 7am to chris singing in the kitchen, you got up and zombie walked to the kitchen to see him dancing around and frying eggs.
"Morning y/n! How did you sleep?" he glanced over to you but continued dancing " yeah it was good" you yawn and stretch your body "yours?" You walk over to him and lean against his counter "i couldnt even tell you i dont remember waking up" he giggled to himself and you laughed along " so you like eggs?"
" i love eggs" you said enthusiastically
( you secretly hate eggs but seeing him exited? You couldnt kill his mood youd rather sit, eat the eggs and smile)
"Thats great! They will be done in i would say... ten minutes? Go up and look for some clothes" he leans in closer to you and whispers "do a sniff test i cant promise everything up there will be clean" he goofily giggled and continued frying
You walked upstairs and enter his bathroom to see a few condom packets on top of the toilet and dirty underwear in the corner. You grab the closest towel you can see and hop in the shower , it felt so good to be clean again.
Afterwards you enter his room, there was multiple guitars mounted on the wall above his double bed. There was clothes sprawled under his bed and at the door and a few empty crushed cans of beer on his night stand. Yo turn to see his drawers and slowly open the top drawer incase you see something your not supposed to, nope! Just clothes. You grab a baggy misfits band shirt and a pair of camo shorts.
You return to the kitchen and chris grins at you, you see his face turn red a little but choose to ignore it. "Those are my favourite shorts" he points to them exitedly "i can tell why" you smile back at him " well here you go!" Chris pushes a bagel with fried egg, herbs and pepper corns towards an empty seat. You smile and sit down. He watches you like a puppy dog to see your reaction. You take a bite and completely prepare yourself to fake smile.... It was fucking amazing. Your eyes roll to the back of your skull and your body goes limp "holy shit... chris you are such a good cook" you look at him to see him smiling widely looking very proud of himself " thankyou" he giggles and looks like hes got shy.
After breakfast you drive yourself and chris down to the set for the day "so what are you filming today?" You look over at him"im not going to be filming again untill we go to japan next week. You are coming right?"
(The cast have to film almost all of the street pranks in japan because you dont need permission to put someones face in a movie, legally)
You nod and he smiles "ill be filming alot of party boy there, i mean alot" he lies back onto the seat of the car "its not easy having the best dick of the cast" he looks at his nails and fake yawns before looking at you for a reaction "are you saying mines isnt pretty enough?" You say in a manly voice and make an angry face at him, he nudges you softly and giggles to himself. "can i put on the misfits? They get me prepared for the day" chris puts his hand near the stereo and waits for your reply "duh of course" you smile at him and he puts in 'famous monsters' scream came on and he was instantly dancing and singing along, it was weird to see someone enjoy them as much as you, after that saturday night came on and he sang it full passion, it was quite funny.
You arrive at the set and notice some of the boys giving you weird stares because you walked in together but they were all buisy planning the trip to japan. You and chris separated, he went over to jeff and you went and sat with bam and ryan who were playfully wrestling "hope im not interrupting" the boys both looked over and smiled "no not at all" ryan said before shoving bam off him and giving you a hug
(Affection was very common here)
Bam followed up by giving you a hug too "so you and pontius?" Bam said waiting for you to tell them gossip "me and pontius?" You said clueless as if you didnt just spend the night on his couch "you two are fucking it's obvious" ryan broke the silence " no we are not!" You said angrily "cmon y/n your wearing his clothes, you didnt honestly think you would get away with it?" Ryan said cockily "we just have the same clothes, now excuse me i need the toilet" you said in full panic hurrying off to the porta potty.
After you got out steve-o saw you and jogged over to greet you "hey y/n! How are-" he looked at your outfit "your wearing pontius's clothes" his face dropped and he stood back in shock "im not we have the same clothes" you said with obvious panic in your voice, steve-o looked up and you and raised his brow "i have known you since i was 10 dont kid me on now" you roll your eyes "fine! So basically because none of you guys could get him from the skate park i picked him up and took him to his to clean up his wound, i slept on his couch, he slept in his bed and i woke up and had a shower. He let me wear his clothes" you exhaled, it felt good to tell the truth "skate park? Wound? Is he okay?" You came to the realisation that pontius was just trying to spend time with you, sly fucker. You dont even want to know how he got the cut. "Look it doesnt matter i need to go do something right now" you pat steve-os sholder and walk off without letting him say shit.
You sit next to johnny when hes planning japan with jeff and spike, none of them really say anything wich is understandable. You didnt want to chat, just wanted a conversation to not be about chris for once. After awhile jeff and spike walk off to their offices and leave you and johnny "hello y/n" he says trying to be nice but you can tell hes very stressed "johnny we dont even need to talk i know how stressed you are i just need new company" he nodded and rested his head backwards, you shimmy your chair closer and rest your head on his sholder. After awhile of sitting you break the silence "johnny can i ask you something?" You move from his sholder and he moved his head up to look at you and tilts "yes darin?" You stutter a bit, scared incase you sound stupid "did chris contact you last night?" He gets out his phone "let me check" after a minute or so he looks up at you "no? How come?" You shake your head and smile annoyedly "its nothing thank you for checking."
You didnt tell chris you knew he was lying, waiting for him to admit himself. Of course, he never did...

“Ready, Y/N?” Ben called from downstairs
“Ready as I’ll ever be.”
You put the final touches of your outfit on. Perfume on your wrists, Tiffany necklace on, you went down the stairs carrying your nude Louboutins and adjusting your earrings. It wasn’t really your style to do any of this, really, but your best friend Ben had wanted to take you to the Bohemian Rhapsody premiere. Go big or go home, you figured. At his asking, you didn’t see or know what he was going to wear so you played it safe with a black dress.
You went down the stairs and got to the bottom floor. Ben was standing in the middle of the living room, back turned to you. He was looking down at the cat weaving in between his legs. As far as you could see, he was wearing an all black suit. “Ben?” you said. He whipped around to see you as you were putting on your shoes.
“Oh, wow, Y/N,” he beamed. Ben put his hands over his mouth, his eyes wide with surprise. “You look so good!” You opened your arms to embrace him, to which he stepped into, his arms around your waist.
After a few seconds, you both pulled away but his arms still stayed in their place and your hands lingered on his biceps. “I could say the same about you, Benny! Everything looks great!” He let you go fully. You looked up and down at his outfit. Sheer black dress shirt, black blazer and trousers, everything was tailored perfectly to his body. You grinned. He cleaned up very well, but it wasn’t like he didn’t dress nice in the first place.
“Ready to go?” he asked. “Car’s waiting outside.”
“Ready.”

You watched from the side of the carpet as the main cast were getting photographed together. That was your best friend! Standing next to Roger fucking Taylor and Brian fucking May. Everything still felt surreal, though he had been in the public spotlight for the past few years, this felt different. Your senses just felt heightened. The flashing lights, the hues of purple and pink and gold all around, surrounded by people you either knew well or were complete strangers to you. Your eyesight was crisp, noticing everything you could, taking it all in. You did musical theatre, you hadn’t really dealt with something as big as this, even with Apocalypse.
And here your best friend was, in the middle of all of this. Your mind played back all the memories of you two in drama school with his all-nighters, monologue after monologue, script after script. You couldn’t be more proud of your closest friend, all of his hard work going to this. You could remember Ben’s shifty eyes backstage the very first show of Judas Kiss and the blush on his cheeks after the show when he remembered that you had watched him perform and there was that one scene of full frontal; he figured it was worth the embarrassment, it’s not as if you hadn’t seen worse.
Back to Eastenders and its countless shirtless and kissing scenes. You thought back to the countless nights that you spent up with him when he was weighing leaving the show or becoming Archangel. At your own urging, Ben left Eastenders, ready for the next chapter, ready for the next big thing. One of the best memories of your life was traveling to the United States with him for Comic-Con and driving up and down the west coast a week before he had to attend it. He took you to Disneyland and Universal Studios after everything with the convention was said and done.
Now, Bohemian Rhapsody! You laughed at the memories of Ben scrambling to find a good drum teacher close by and how he turned up in the middle of the night to your flat to tell you he got the part. You couldn’t ever forget his embrace in the dark of your living room, his face buried in your shoulder and his arms, tight and strong around your waist. Your happy tears wiped away by Ben’s hand as you drew apart. Though you both were excited, it was still the middle of the night, so you both just slept in your bed once more with the cats.
Ben would always invite you over to watch him play and give your input. You had to admit, he had gotten pretty good over all the lessons. Though you discouraged his lying about playing the drums and seeing the consequences in his clamber to learn as much as possible, it paid off in the best way possible. They started the process of making the movie. Though you couldn’t really be by his side throughout filming, you were basically there, his perpetual FaceTimes keeping you in the loop with everyone. You even “met” the guys and Lucy, who you hit off with very well. Ben made sure you were always by his side and he was always by yours.
So when you saw him here, at his biggest premiere surrounded by even more amazing actors and actresses, you couldn’t help but shed a tear. This role of Roger had basically brought him into the light.
You watched them take pictures until Ben beckoned you over, the group disbanding and walking over to their families and significant others to pose for their own photos. You came over and he put his arm around your waist, hugging you close. Your hand was on his back and you both posed for pictures, the flash basically blinding you, the sounds of the shutters all around. “Smile,” Ben whispered into your ear.

Everyone was at the rooftop restaurant that you were all going to eat at after the premiere. You were sitting in between Roger and Ben, having been introduced to all of the people around the table. Never in a million years, you thought, never in a million years did you think you’d be here, conversing with the real Roger Taylor or getting along with his daughters, or telling Lucy Boynton and Anita Dobson where you got your necklace and earrings.
“If you’ll excuse us, Y/N and I are going to go out to the balcony,”
You scooped another spoon of food in your mouth before saying, “Oh, okay we are? Okay.” You gave a polite smile to Roger, who you were talking to before Ben got your attention. Standing up, you followed Ben out of the tall, ornate door, out to the terrace where you could see all of London. The view was breathtaking.
“What is this all about?” you inquired as you came over to Ben standing with his hand on the glass, observing the scenery in front of him, the various coloured lights illuminating London.
“How do you feel about all this, Y/N? The whole shazam,” he questioned, wanting to know your true feelings about everything.
You shook your head, “What can I say?” You looked out along with him. “If you had told me in the first year of uni when we met that we would be here right now. Eating dinner with two freaking members of Queen and their families and being around some of the best actors and musicians in the world!” You said, your voice breathy. It was crazy what your best friend had been able to accomplish. “I would’ve slapped you and called you mental. This is all so... wow.”
“I couldn’t have made it here without you, Y/N. I’d be a complete and utter trainwreck. I wouldn’t even, like, survive without you, you know?”
“Ben,” you shook your head vigourously, “Don’t…don’t. This is your thing. This is your work. This is your doing. I was just there along for the ride and you were there with me,” you reasoned. “It’s just...just that simple.”
He shook his head but smiled. “None of this is that simple.” Ben turned to face you, still looking down. You moved to look at him yourself. “You mean everything to me, really. It’s not just the support. It’s the little things. It’s how you never fail to put your jumper sleeves over your hands and bury ‘em in your face. It’s how you look at me when you’re adjusting my suit and doing that little,” he paused and did little sweeping movements in the air, “that little sweepy thing on my lapels and you look back up at me and smile. The way you smile, the way you look at me, love, it just- it drives me crazy in the best way. You’re always there for me, yes, but that is not the only reason that I love you.” Ben took hold of your hand and held it close to his heart, his hand encapsulating yours entirely. “I want you, Y/N.”
You leaned forward and an abundance of holy shit holy shit did I just do that did I really just do that did he reeeallly just say those amazing things about me?’s rang through your head, echoing and echoing. You kissed him. His plump lips were upon yours finally. At first, Ben was stiff, taken by surprise at your sudden action but he softened quickly with the feeling of you on him. Your hand stayed on his chest while his moved down to your hips. As the kiss deepened, you laced your hands around his neck.
He pulled away. “You don’t know how long I’ve wanted that, love,” he said, breathless, his lips swollen and pink.
“Me too, Ben.” You smiled and cupped his cheek in your hand, to which he kissed your palm and held your wrist lightly. He looked down at his shoes, blushing.
“We should—“ he started, his thumb pointing back to the inside. “We shoul—“
You exhaled. “Y-Yeah, yeah we should, we should.” Ben grabbed your hand and led you inside. He pulled your chair out for you and you sat in it. You brushed imaginary dirt off your dress, trying to act casual.
“Looks like you two had fun out there!” exclaimed Roger, a bellowing laugh coming from him.

i started to cry literally before it even started. the screen was black and i was already tearing up but when clint and his daughter came up and then his family disappeared i was full on crying.
carol coming in clutch and saving tony and nebula yessss
steve and tony’s conversation right when he gets off the ship was everything i wanted it to be. (crying again) everything.
when they go to thanos’s house thing and thor chops off his arm . its what ive been saying they shouldve done on titan
and then he went for the head!
five.......
years later
fuck them. literally when the ‘five’ came up i was like no no no dont you dare do it dont you dare and then they did it. fuck them
five fucking years?!?! they made them live through 5 years of that trauma?!?!?
nat was everything in this film. she became the leader and keeping track of everything and her moment of breaking down was just so human. she couldnt move on in those 5 years and it just shows how much the avengers had become her family.
scott and cassie omg cassie all grown up made me so emotional
tony and morgan i love you three thousand she is the cutest and sweetest thing
tony fucking stark figured out time travel. he did that.
when tony gives steve his shield back my heart could not take it
the scenes where they were trying to pinpoint the exact time to go back and it was like a sleepover sesh and all the domestic avenger fanfics
going back a little bit
clint killing all the people that should have been killed and deserved to be killed and being a total badass showing up all those people who said he was just really good with an arrow and every scene he has with nat.
‘dont give me hope’
thor. oh where to start. he really did lose everything and he was blaming himself for all that happened so i get where hes coming from. every time you could see him remembering and tormenting himself about what happened broke me. his scene with his mother (crying again)
also hulk/bruce was an interesting choice (not a huge fan of it but ok)
the time traveling
everything about the new york scenes were amazing. the aftermath of the end of the avengers, loki turning into cap for a second, seeing rumlow and sitwell come out, steve getting into the elevator and channeling that winter soldier energy (i was slapping my sister on the arm so hard at this part) hail hydra and outsmarting them all. cap fighting cap “i can do this all day” lmao i was dying ‘bucky is alive” again dying they really nailed it with this. i was worried beforehand because like it would change how we would see the og avengers but i still think it works
also can talk about how tony (and scott) was checking out steves ass????
“i forgot how that suit did nothing for you ass” (be still my heart) “i like to think of it at america’s ass” (or whatever the line was)
loki getting away with the tesseract (is that in this timeline im confused about that hopefully someone will explain bc does that mean loki is alive in this timeline or not? lol)
them going back to the 1970s (do you trust me? i do) and tony meeting howard and introducing himself as howard potts. again i know i talked about howard and tony already but i loved their scenes. and JARVIS FROM AGENT CARTER MAKING AN APPEARANCE OMG
PEGGYYYYYYY (crying) when steve walked into her office (grabbed my sister again) and when he was watching her through the window and you could feel his pain.
thor and rocket are the pairing that i never imagined but amazing none the less. i loved that we got the return of mjolnir here even though idk what that does to the timeline (again who knows at this point)
rhodey and nebula again another pairing i didnt expect but are great together. everything about nebula in this film. she really has a great arch. i was stressing out so hard when the alternate timeline thanos found out that they came from the past. the scene where peter quill is dancing and singing to no music was great.
clint and natasha. this pairing thie duo the og. fuck my heart. when they started going off to vormir i knew. i knew it and i cannot handle it. the whole scene where they are fighting each other to sacrifice themself i was SOBBING. LEGIT SOBBING. ‘let me go’ i loved this so much and also hated it. she deserved her happy ending too. after everything she gave up everything to save those people. her arch is so good too. im excited for her origin. i kinda want to see her when shes a bad guy and killing everyone and her journey to shield. i hope thats what we’ll see in her movie.
but also that scene emotionally fucked me up hard.
the og avengers (minus nat) sitting on the edge of the lake
thor trying to put on the glove and redeem himself (in his own eyes not my own bc he doesnt deserve the shit he gets for not going for the head)
hulk doing it and the calm before the storm where everything goes back before that missile comes firing down.
steve tony and thor facing off with thanos. everything about this scene. tony getting a juice-up from thor and lightning to max out his powers. steve jump kicking on thanos’s ass. thanos beating up thor and steve coming in with FUCKING MJOLNIR AGAIN CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH I WAS CHEERING AT THIS POINT HE IS WORTHY MY BOY STEVE IS WORTHY
also on that note tony coming up to steve and saying “theres my man” or something and giving him back his shield again.
steve standing there with his broken shield ready to face off with thanos’s army and sam coming in on the comm. and then EVERYONE COMING THRU AND KICKING NAMES AND TAKING ASS

peter parker and his reunion with tony was heartbreaking. tony looked so broken and complete at the same time. he got him back.
PEPPER FREAKING POTTS
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE (YEESSSSSSSS)
peter quill’s semi-reunion with gamora and how she doesnt know him but he gets her back
also gamora, nebula and still-evil!nebula was a great scene. nebula killing her past self is some symbolic shit right there AND to protect her sister who she hated
CAROL FUCKING DANVERS COMING TO SAVE THE DAY AND KICK THANOS’S ASS
im sad that she wasn’t in the film as much but i get why they did it and it also makes me really excited for her future films
but carol getting the gauntlet and peter saying “i dont know how youre gonna get through that”
and ALL THE BADASS MCU WOMEN COMING UP BEHIND HER READY TO FIGHT AND REPRESENT FOR THE FEMALES (CRYING)
this is something that couldn’t of been done a few years ago because there weren’t a lot of female superheroes in this universe and just the fact that this scene can make such an impression and become probably one of the most badass scenes of the mcu is one of the best things that came out of this movie.

FUCKKKKKKKK they really know how to write these movies.
he knew he would die. he knew he would never see morgan again. but he knew what he had to do.
his character arch from a selfish man to a selfless man has been the most profound and powerful story.
rdj and tony stark have really carried this franchise. they were the start. and it makes sense that his death closes out this era of the mcu.
to rdj: i will never forgive my mom for telling me that she didn’t like you way back when. that really influenced how i thought about you and about tony stark for years. and i limited me from really appreciating and loving iron man and those movies and tony’s character. but as i continued to watch more of you in the mcu and in real life and have seen how you have grown and who you are today, i have so much love and respect for you and your character. im just so upset at the time i lost where i could have fallen even more in love with you. thank you so much for everything you have done over the last 11 years for this franchise. thank you for the time thank you for the memories and the laughs. the journey has been amazing.

it really was a perfect end to his story and it wrapped up his character really well. he got that life he deserved
to chris evans: as this is probably the last time we will see you as captain america let me thank you too for the years and joy that you have brought to my life. youre it for me. you are the reason i became so invested in this world. when you jumped on the fake grenade i was in it with you. chris you are and will always be the best chris in my heart. your passion for this character and understanding of steve rogers and his motivations have created such a memorable performance. steve rogers will always be the og. he will always have my heart. i am so thankful that you took this opportunity and used it and made this character your own. you live up to the standards that steve holds for himself and i am so excited for your future. i am also so glad that you didn’t die in this movie bc i definitely could not have handled it if i had to watch both my favs die. i love you three thousand.
i literally cried throughout the whole movie. there were laughs, cheers, groans, stress, tears, and love throughout this film. i am so grateful that i am alive during this time in cinematic history. there will never be something as great or momentous as this film. a true culmination of 22 films. its never been done and i doubt itll ever be done again
i am also so impressed and amazed by how well this film turned out. it is just amazing how everything fell into place
im sure ill read other people’s reactions and they will bring up points or problematic things that will taint my view on this movie but i dont want that to ruin my own experience
and for me, this was truly emotionally draining and fulfilling. the feeling of being in that theatre with all those people who love the characters as much as i do and experiencing this film for the first time is something i will never forget.
people talk about how they remember lining up for star wars.
well i remember sobbing my eyes out when nat died, cheering along with everyone when cap picked up mjolnir and whipped thanos’s ass with it and when carol and the rest of the badass women of the mcu ready to kick ass, crying with everyone as the light went out in tony’s chest and eyes, watching as history was made in front of our eyes.
and the end credits with the og avengers getting recognition with their photos and autographs.
i love this franchise and these films and these characters i dont know who i would be without them.
one last thing
thank you to the og avengers. steve tony thor nat clint bruce. chris robert chris scarlett jeremy mark. you will always have a special place in my heart. you were there at the start. you were the reason this all could happen you were the reason i became so invested in these movies. you brought these characters to life and embodied them. you are all so much like your characters the casting is perfect. thank you for your dedication to your work to you fans and to your characters. it means so much that you all stuck through this together and that you are such great friends in real life and i can only hope that one day i can be so lucky as to meet you all and thank you in person.

yo wtf im in love w ur writing pLeAsE i need more reddie hc's like .... idk.... richie works at the cinema and once in a while a cute guy (eddie) comes there with his friends and YEAH come up with the rest wow im a FAN
my buddy,, my guy,,, ily
aged up because when are they not in these things lmao,, like 19/20
- richie’s new in town and the first day he moves there he goes and gets a job, and the first thing that comes along just happens to be at the cinema
- this is fine, he’s pretty decent with customer service and doesn’t mind the long hours (boys got energy for days), also the perks of free movie tickets and discounted snacks is enticing
- the uniform is his least favourite part, he has to wear black slacks, dress shoes, and a horribly fitted bright purple vest (but he’s allowed to put pins on it so he bedazzles the fuck outta himself)
- he’s been working there like a week and they mostly just have him doing the shitty cleaning jobs (not really what he wanted but he’s getting paid so whatever) and this group of six walks in, all about his age
- he’s sweeping over behind the confection stand and he can hear they’re arguing about what film to see from across the establishment, so naturally he starts eavesdropping and watches them (he’s been here for five hours he needs some sort of entertainment, and these people look interesting)
- and then the all walk up to the ticket stand and,,, richie does a double take
- there’s this guy that’s quite a bit shorter than the rest of them, and was kinda standing behind them all before so richie couldn’t see him properly, and holy fuck he’s pretty
- fuckn,, taylor swift is playing over the speakers and it’s ridiculously fitting as the chorus from ‘enchanted’ starts playing,, richie’s heart just about leaps out of his chest
- so he gawks after them as the buy their tickets and he’s leaning on his broom and it slips out from under him so he trips, he catches himself before he faceplants but it still draws attention
- fuuuck now they’re all looking and wwooOAAH wAIT he’s smiling at you be cool man be cool
- so he tries to play it off like ‘hhaaha yep totally meant to do that’, giving a weak salute over to the group who have mostly all gone back to talking amongst themselves
- except for the short guy, who laughs and bites his lip at richie, then turns back to his friends
- richie realises they’re all heading over to the snack counter and there’s no one at the register so he sprints there before someone else can serve them (he’s not supposed to be doing register today but like,, his manager’s not here atm so suck it)
- he’s slightly out of breath and aware he probably looks like a maniac and they’re kinda giving him weird looks but honestly he can’t see anything but this one guy,, holy shit he’s wearing a pink sweater holY SHIT
- they walk up to the counter and the one girl with red hair come up first and leans on the glass
- “HIWHATCANIGETFORYOU”
“…..uh, hi, one large popcorn.. please?”“YEAH TOTALLY NO PROBLEM”
“…..cool… thanks…..”
- he’s never put in orders as fast as he does now because shorty’s at the back of the line
- when the rest of them have their orders and he finally gets to the front richie like,, tries to be suave but it just kinda comes off awkward and lowkey cringy
- “hey there”
- “hi”
- “what can i get for you, hot stuff?”
- and then this kid snorts and giggles and scrunches up his nose and richie is gone,, dear god help me i’ve died and gone to heaven,, this is the cutest person i’ve ever seen in my life
- he puts in the order and hands the food over and the rest of the group are probably like,, why the fuck is this geek-ass bitch trying to flirt with our friend who does he think he is
- “enjoy your movie guys!”
- “thanks! you too”
- richie laughs and the kid goes red and turns heel and the group disappears into the cinema, leaving richie standing there grinning like a dork (until his manager comes back and tells him off for not sweeping)
- when the film lets out richie is cleaning around the arcade and the guy with the red flannel comes up behind him and shoves a piece of paper into his hand
- “he d-didn’t shut up about you for the whole fucking m-movie”
- he returns to the group and they leave and richie looks at the paper,, and its a phone number with ‘~eddie :)’ written underneath it,, richie could pass out right here and now
- he immediately pulls out his phone and sends him a text like
- >’i really like your laugh’
- boy wtf thats so gay
- he gets an instant reply that’s just a smiley face and a heart and ,, fuck
WHOOP there it is,, might do a part two but for now have this
