so much happened in this whole episode but i’m still on fig infiltrating ruben’s dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of “somebody needs to take the fall for this, and it’s not going to be me. it’s going to be you.” while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we don’t even know if this kid is guilty. my god.

I love that Aelwyn has experienced enough character development to point blank tell Adaine she misses her but not enough to keep from becoming embroiled in The Fuckening (tm) Part Three: Rat Grinders Edition. Staying riiiiiight in that sweet spot and I wouldn't have it any other way.

The fact that Adaine "i don't know if im asexual im 15" Abernant and Riz "why is everyone so horny im definately aroace" Gukgak both being in the same show is incredibly important to me

#like i was just like adaine at 15 and have slowly shifted more towards riz but i like that both are shown #having 2 characters with similar aspec experiences and showing how they react differently is great #and do i think adaine is ace? not really i think if she feels attraction she would put that on the back burner while she deals with her #anxiety and her family being the worst and even now thats shes dealt with all that i dont think its a storyline shell dive into #i think what im trying to get at is that having people support her being ace would help adaine regardless of how she ends up identifying #and i think that riz having a friend (one who doesnt identify as ace) is important for him and feeling like he fits in while being aroace #i dont know if that made any sense but they are best friends #dimension 20 #fantasy high #fhjy #riz gukgak #adaine abernant #you'll have to pry aroace riz from my cold dead hands #<- thats my aroace riz tag

devora wilde honestly deserves the same amount of praise and hype as neil for her portrayal of lae'zel

#ofc i think all the VAs are amazing #but there r always standouts and i do think neil is one #but devora is too. the way she plays lae'zel has so much depth and variance #she developed such a unique cadence and voice for a fantasy race with like no precedent #she brings so much strength but also humor and vulnerability #the delivery of “is... something burdening you”#is honestly so impactful like every time i'm blown away by what she managed to do w that line.#somehow communicated lae'zel's emotional and interpersonal growth #her concern and affection for the pc #her hesitancy to initiate but desire for emotional intimacy #all with that one simple line #bg3 #lae'zel #devora wilde

#i hope this is readable lol #deltarune #susie #noelle holiday #suselle #art tag #man i had a whole thing to type up here and now i forget most of it. ummm #basically ive been thinkin about suselle with the new info we got from the sweepstakes #specifically from noelle's perspective. because up until chapter 2 she wants susie but she doesnt KNOW susie #its an extremely shallow crush which is normal for teenagers but what makes it interesting to me is #how noelle sort of seems more attracted to the danger susie poses than susie herself #and she doesnt really make an attempt to get to know susie personally until ch 2? iirc?#and before that almost seems to hope that susie will treat her as badly as she treats kris #and you could argue whether its bc of noelle's psychological problems or if its just. yknow. a fantasy #either way my point is shes not really thinking about susies feelings. shes not trying to reform the bully or something #so consider this little lyric comic as taking place in noelle's fantasies pre-ch1 #BUT #all that said it doesnt mean noelle isnt open to getting to know susie. obviously #when she sees an opportunity noelle does reach out and not in a way where shes trying to provoke susie to hurt or threaten her #she gives susie a gift and invites her to study together. not to mention the whole ferris wheel thing #i actually think noelle didnt even consider that as an option until susie and kris became friends #and even after chapter 2 noelle doesnt really know susie all that well. and to her susie still exists mostly in the realm of fantasy #but its a start. and they have so much more room to grow and understand each other better #plus susie clearly already cares a lot about noelle #moral of the story is suselle is more compelling than just 'shy girl plus mean girl'#and i like it #good night

this is probably one of my favorite outfits that i've ever put together! and it's all for one of my top five fav character designs, like... Ever!

rambles:

i would like to note that my dear beloved Jaime (@/awkwardalphajay here on our very own hellsite<3 check em out <3) helped out a Ton by sending inspiration photos and providing insightful commentary on details and vibes!

overall i wanted Sally to have fancy vibes! while i was originally going to have her fit very much based on her canon one, i wound up veering off course and - while still keeping some elements - mostly went for Medieval Entertainer and Her House insp! continuing with the day/night theme, and leaning heavily into the fire aspect - she's a literal star fallen to earth, after all!

it was suggested that she should have dragonscale used in the making of her clothes since she's, you know, kind of made of fire! and it was genius! I imagine she has extra fire charms on this fit and also the rest of her clothes, since dragonscale is hard to come by and is a finite resource once Gathered. she gets better at Not burning everything she wears over time, thankfully!

i think that, like Frank, she'd have One (1) Dagger. for emergencies! it's likely very ornate, and she'd hate to scuff up the gleaming blade. Probably. plus, why would she need it? she's got firepower, babey!

there isn't quite as much to say about this as usual... mostly because this one was more Vibes than strategic "ok this and this and this because this and also-" i was just! makin a fun outfit!
