🖌️-Do they have any hobbies?

He has a couple but I’ll only go into one here. Doe writes poetry when the mood strikes him (to the point that when i was doing the Flourish Making Your Name stuff he’d actually done several epic poems before it was needed which made things at the end easier but still 😬). He’s a romantic, and tends to write more into that category, with a major complaint being that he only writes happy endings. Who doesn’t like love winning in the end? But people do tend to find that boring and so he doesn’t publish a good portion of work, doing it mostly for his own gratification.

🎶- What’s a song they really like?

Doe doesn’t have any song he particularly likes but he does very much enjoy going out dancing with Darcy, so on occasion he’ll have snippets of that sort of thing stuck in his head. He’ll hum whatever song they danced to for a few days after but Doe has absolutely no sense of tune so good luck figuring out what he’s humming. Or that he’s humming. People have been known to pay him to stop, as they believe it to be a form of harassment.

I cannot understate how horrible it is to listen to. He’s just that bad.

queen. they were my Interest for a while when i was twelve, i don't really listen to them anymore just like three songs occasionally but i could probably tell a slightly unholy amount of queen trivia if pressed hehe

ooh idk if i have one?? like i don't listen to stuff i don't like so yeah.... and i can usually find musical merit in most things if i try hard enough.... but i don't really like the red hot chilli peppers. they just sound so generic, like there's nothing to them. the most basic early 2000s white boy rock ever. tasteless. in my opinion.

5. Any game ideas you'd like to see made?

I’d love to see a prequel set in the golden age of the yakuza (60s) with Kazama or Kuze as the main protag. This is actually my brother’s idea, but it’s a damn good one. We’ve tossed around ideas for what the game would actually be about, like the jingweon massacre, some kind of government conspiracy, and things like that, but I don’t really have anything locked down on what specifically I would wanna see lol

12. Favorite protagonist based on personality?

Ichiban. A very very very close second is Yagami. Like they’re pretty much tied, but if you held a gun to my head and told me to choose, I’d pick Ichi. There are lots of protags I adore tho. It’s just that I 100% would die for Ichiban ❤️

1. what's currently a fantasy you're really into?

ok so first thing you need to know is that Arlo is my little baby boy baby.

He's been friends with Nic (my other oc who i might talk about if you want 👀) since they were kids but back then he was a girl. When they were 8 they were playing in a park near Arlo's house and a humanoid creature tried to eat him and Nic killed it so save Arlo and they both got trauma from that. After that they stopped being friends for a variety of reasons but after a few years Arlo calls Nic again to warn him because he's being stalked by some weird creatures/things and he thinks they might go for Nic also. They learn that those creatures are faeries and that they really shouldn't have killed that faerie that tried to eat kid Arlo cause now they're pissed at them.

Arlo is trans and he has a pretty rough relationship with his parents cause of that. His mother completely shut him off after he came out to her and his father wasn't the most supportive at first. He was okay but after a while he got really weird about it and Arlo moved out. Now he lives in a shitty apartment with a shitty roommate and his puppy (he's called Anubis and he's a border collie australian shepherd mix)

But the thing is that Arlo is a half-blood fae. His father had some fun back in his youth with a pretty elf lady named Juno and she got pregnant but he was also dating Arlo's "mother" at the same time. When Juno gave birth, she gave Arlo to his father cause she had to many responsibilities to take care of him and Arlo's "mother" resents him and his dad for it. When Arlo learns that his mother isn't his mother, he has an existential crisis cause he really doesn't want to be a faerie. One tried to eat him as a kid. That's understandable.

He's your typical bad boy, y'know. He has a leather jacket and rides a motorcycle, all that. To quote that one post, he has that sadness in his eyes that you only see in Eastern European gay porn. I'm still debating whether or not he has tattoos but he probably does.

In the story, he's the chosen one but he really doesn't want to be. He eventually ends up dating Nic but it takes them a while to get together cause he's really not in touch with his own feelings. He's also really good friends with Cerys, the Autumn Court princess and at some point she had feelings for him, but he respectfully said no.

god I'm so fucking furious at the removal of Te Reo Māori names from organisations around Aotearoa. it's a complete non-issue, every organisation has the English name directly underneath the Māori name. I have never once as an English speaker been unable to understand what an organisation is for. Winston Peters, the Deputy Prime Minister, who is literally Māori himself, said “Te Papa is a historic name but tell me this waka kotahi, how many boats have you seen going down the road?”. Waka does not just mean canoe. it means vessel, and waka kotahi (the transport agency of Aotearoa) explains this VERY SIMPLY on their official website. waka kotahi means to travel together as one. Can you see how fucking upsetting this is. A Māori person in power who is in agreement about banning his own language, being so cocky about something that he does not even understand due to the suppression of the language of his people. It makes me sick. I've seen reports from Māori people all over Aotearoa speaking out about how upset and furious they are, how decades of progress have been undone in the fight to restore the rights of their people who have for so long been oppressed and have suffered the effects of colonisation. Please share this if you can, I hate knowing how few people will hear about this, I know there is so much injustice in the world right now and it is so exhausting, I know. Hmm…it’s an overcast day today. But not fully, as I see some sunlight poking through the clouds. It’s still a bit smoky where I live in western Canada, but it’s nowhere near as bad as it has been these last few months. My eyes aren’t burning and my throat isn’t scratchy from the smoke, so that’s a nice change 😄

23. How do you feel about chilly weather?

I love it! Give me layers and scarves and boots any day of the year, and I’m instantly happier. To me, chilly weather is cozy and snuggly. I can’t handle the heat at all, and my meds tend to go all funky when it’s above +30C for any length of time. It’s a pain. 😩
