It's a Rich Man's World for the wip ask game
All RIGHT!!
This, like all the other fics in the Teenage Rebellion AU, is named after a lyric from an ABBA song (don't ask why they're all named after ABBA songs, it's just A Thing That Happened.)
This is a story set shortly after Sabine is sent to Coruscant, several months before SYAS. Here's a snippet!

Sabine sighed. “Look. I get it. You have this weirdly personal vendetta against him. And, yeah, he’s annoying. And dumb. And very teenage-boy-ish. Because he’s an annoying dumb teenage boy. But it came down to talking to him, or listening to the Moff Squad’s never-ending speeches.”
“…I guess that’s fair enough,” Leia pursed her lips. “Still. Try to stay away from him. Trust me, he’s no good.”
Sabine shook her head at her friend, smiling at the absurdity of her worries, and held out her arms wide with a laugh. “Come on, Lei! Do I look like the kind of girl who would get mixed up with an Inquisitor?”

My favorite thing is that A and N didn’t like each other at first

I have a not-very-solid-shaky theory that N was working with the Agency prior to their turn. And so, knowing their personality, the Agency paired them with A.
Two very different approaches to problem solving, one freshly turned and one in isolation for 600 years working on their own … and N always challenged A, and I am sure they didn’t agree on much of anything at first
But, with all their differences, their commitment and love for family is what they had in common. They could understand each other. I know we talk a lot about their differences, but they actually have important things in common
And to think of their growth?? How they speak without words and how they know each other better than they know themselves? It’s just too good

Idk if you've been asked this before but what would you like to see more of in IF genre wise and RO wise. Are there any tropes you wish were more prevalent or genres?
i may have? [i think so!] but thoughts change. so it's all good in the hood.
My response to the first one would always be more diversity. More characters of color, more characters of different ethnicities, variety in body types. More characters with disabilities. More short male and nonbinary ROs. More amazonian female and nonbinary ROs.
I've seen some improvement in body types, at least from the recent IFs I've been eyeing, especially when the ROs don't have pictures but more is always great.
As for TYPES:
For IFs:
I'm a historical romance fan, so I would love to see more of those. In general. I don't mean in a magical world [though I will get that to it], but slice of life during the Harlem Jazz Era, murder mystery in Japan in the 1930s, etc. And if you MUST, must, must do it in a European setting [nothing wrong with that, I love a good Regency romance], there is no reason for it to be all white. Or even entirely white. 1- I don't care about historical inaccuracies [half the time people get corsets and medical stuff wrong anyway] 2- if you MUST be accurate, do your research.
Though, I do love fantastical/sci-fi in historical settings. And I don't mean aliens made the pyramids [don't try it]! More like a Victorian era IF making influence of the steampunk genre [which go hand in hand]. Or netflix's taking zombies and putting them in ancient Korea [is it Korea? I don't watch those shows]. Give me elves in the Mayan empire. Or maybe something like where people advanced tech-wise but the social mores are very Regency. "Urban" Fantasy in Imperial China. Werewolves vs Vampires but make them Vikings.
More isekai IFs. Both in how they do it in manga/manhwa but also like a Kid In King Arthur's court, kind of vibe. You're not Alice but you're in Wonderland.
I love the slices of life coming out. Particularly the ones that are inspired by shows. I want more of that! Maybe even films.
I want more witches and werewolves. That is it. Separate. Together. Any era. I want them.
I also want more stories with the Fae. Changelings and hobgoblins and The Hunt. Tam Lin and kelpies and trades. The nightmarish stuff.
More stories about second chances in life, especially for older characters.
Um. I had more thoughts but I've lost them.
ROs.
Second chance! But something like you and your ex got a divorce, but there are kids [hi thicker than!]. Or the one who got away in high school/college [hi dropout!]. I don't want fresh feelings being washed out [though that's nice]. I want scratching at old scabs. I want you thought these feelings were dead but they're back. Or they did die, but now we're different people and -- oh, hello ... again?
Speaking of second chance. I would like more ROs who have pasts. Lost loves. Heartbreaks. Mistakes they've made and they're trying again.
Tired of alpha men. More 'alphas' of other genders.
I want ROs who are messes. And not in the shy, awk introvert~ Who is sometimes klutzy but its cute! I mean someone who thinks they're good with people but is actually a disaster. Characters who are angry. And mourning. And have their own issues that make them imperfect. That also won;t be solved just because MC is there.

It’s actually a nickname my old roommate gave me a few years back. It’s an amalgamation of my personality and name.  They said I could figure out anything and they insisted the name kinda sounded like a tv show.
Since we were roomies during the time of my life when I did most of the things I write about, it only seemed fitting to use the moniker for this page. Especially with the added joke that as the detective, ‘I’d help you find your orgasm.’

First of all, congratulations to finish watching rottmnt but also, I've got a question bc you just recently watch the series and stuff.
So I watched both the two seasons and the movie multiple times plus these little clips videos bc rottmnt is just maximal comfort for me, but I started to recognize that I'm apperantly rambling random quotes out of nowhere for literally no reason at any given moment.
For example, I was putting some ice cubes into the freezer but they didn't fit so I needed to arrange them a bit and the first thing that came into my mind was quoting Mikey from that episode with the pizza week and this band wanting to put up a show and blowing up the turtles fav pizza places. So I sat there in front of the freezer and just shouted out loud "You will feel pain!" while calmly arranging the ice cubes.
Sad thing is, neither my family or my friends either watched or like rottmnt so in their eyes I'm just shouting out random stuff without any context and I even started to add "just a quote" behind every time I said smth so they don't think I'm talking about them (╸w╺)
Soooo... Do you also happen to... do that or is that some kind of "I watched that shit 5 times in a row and now it's stuck in ma stupid brain" kinda thing?

Do you believe in the concept of soulmates?
Maybe not in the traditional sense, destiny-bound to be with each other and all that. I do think there are certain people out there that one is bound to "click" with bc of different factors, and it's just a matter of finding them. As in, I think I think there are lots of people you could consider your soul mate, but it's up to you to find them. Also, there may be more than one. (I also think a soul mate could be platonic, or in your family.) I think of it as "someone you're close to with your soul", and that can mean whatever you want it to mean.

I actually liked that there was only one sex scene in Galatea and it was mediocre as you put in one comment reply, cause this story is less of a fantasy and more of collection of emotions and images and memories even, it’s easy to forget they’re not my memories. I really hope you’re proud, I know I am proud of you
yes you get it!! galatea wouldn’t have worked at all with a long Lottiecrabie sex scene because it’s meant to be these quick snapshots of a summer. i also think Thematically it makes sense that this wasn’t the best fucking sex that will change your life since the Point is that it is not as grand as reader makes it out to be in her head.
