It's a Rich Man's World for the wip ask game

All RIGHT!!

This, like all the other fics in the Teenage Rebellion AU, is named after a lyric from an ABBA song (don't ask why they're all named after ABBA songs, it's just A Thing That Happened.)

This is a story set shortly after Sabine is sent to Coruscant, several months before SYAS. Here's a snippet!

“What were you doing?” Leia demanded, grabbing Sabine and dragging her off the moment she stepped away from Youngest Brother.

“What do you mean?”

“Flirting! With him!”

Sabine took a half-step backwards. “Okay, hold on, hit the brakes. I was talking to him.”

Leia gave her an unimpressed look. “All the way through dinner!”

“I was sitting next to him—what was I supposed to do? Ignore him the whole time?”

“No, but I didn’t think you would be all buddy-buddy!”

Sabine sighed. “Look. I get it. You have this weirdly personal vendetta against him. And, yeah, he’s annoying. And dumb. And very teenage-boy-ish. Because he’s an annoying dumb teenage boy. But it came down to talking to him, or listening to the Moff Squad’s never-ending speeches.”

“…I guess that’s fair enough,” Leia pursed her lips. “Still. Try to stay away from him. Trust me, he’s no good.”

Sabine shook her head at her friend, smiling at the absurdity of her worries, and held out her arms wide with a laugh. “Come on, Lei! Do I look like the kind of girl who would get mixed up with an Inquisitor?”
