i just like Codes and Ciphers so when i realized that the fantasy text in Tensura (specifically, in the app game, Isekai Memories) corresponded to the roman alphabet and was unable to find said text online, i decided to crack it myself. here's the results, minus a few letters that haven't showed up in canon yet, with sources below the cut if you're curious how i did it!
the first thing i had to go off of was the loading screen, on which the text switches between "NOW LOADING" and this:
which gave me a few letters to get started! so i began applying these letters where i found them again, using signage found around Tempest which gave some other letters via context clues:
and other text scattered throughout the game that also had context clues:
with a good portion of the alphabet assembled, i set out to tackle the mother of all sources - THIS wall of text:
which turned out to be song lyrics and therefore a fantastic Rosetta Stone to fill in most of the blanks.
the devs seem to have used this as Lorem Ipsum as needed, since it crops up a couple more times:
finally, i tackled this monstrosity, and while i didn't get any new letters from this, it did turn out to be something plot-related and is pretty interesting cause it looks like Great Sage actually kinda glitches out for lack of a better phrase?
oh and as of now i have ONE number symbol:
so here is the assembly of letters that leaves me with:
i will def add the rest if they ever crop up in game! but for now that concludes my findings.

do you think stygian and luna were friends?
I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED THIS BECAUSE I HAVE LORE.
Canonically (if we're considering the comics canon... which I do); Celestia and Luna had no idea that the Pillars even existed. Despite Starswirl forcefully taking leadership from Stygian, he kept the entire group a secret. Which... is probably why Starswirl is considered a historical figure and the rest of the well renowned Pillars were seen as just myths.
Stygian actually shows contempt for this in the 2018 Annual comic:
Stygian was tired of Starswirl's shit for a while, goddamn.
And since Starswirl's disappearance was a total mystery until the season 7 finale episodes "Shadow Play," the mysterious disappearances of everyone else also did not help with them being seen as... not real... I guess.
Stygian and the Pillars were well aware of the princesses existence, though. The 2018 Annual's plot involves the Pillars going to an alternate universe to save the teenaged princesses, who were kidnapped from their world. Lots of dimensional travel in the comics.
The princesses were unconscious for the entire thing, though, so they had no idea the Pillars saved them. Except for Starswirl maybe...?
So, no, Luna and Stygian were not friends in the past.
.
.
.
They ARE friends in the present, though!
Once the Pillars were brought back from Limbo, with Celestia and Luna FINALLY meeting all of them, Styggy boy here and Luna developed a friendship over time. This is especially apparent in the Nightmare Knights comics, where they have to get a team of reformed villains/villain-adjacent characters to defeat... another evil from another dimension. I told you there was... a lot of dimensional travel. Esp since this specific dimension was turned into a casino meet-up for MLP villains from EVERY alternate dimension.
I love the Nightmare Knights comics wholeheartedly, like actually. They gave me comics that focus on all of my favorite redeemed worsties <3333
The Mane 6 WISH they were as iconic as the Nightmare Knights like actually
Luna and Stygian are practically besties in these comics and I headcanon that they all meet up to have Redeemed Worstie Bestie Missions/Meetings, because cmon this team up is amazing.
Capper and Trixie's interactions are also really cute in these comics, man lowkey goes "You're obviously an only child dayum :/" to "You're like a sister now dayum :/"
So yuh. Luna and Stygian are canonically friends.

Writing a character with albinism by an albino :)
So let’s start off with the basics, shall we?
What is albinism? Albinism is a genetic mutation in which the person with this condition suffers from a lack of melanin, or pigment-the thing that gives you your hair color, your skin color and your eye color. There are 2 different types of albinism: oculacutaneus albinism (OCA) and ocular albinism (OA) I will explain these two types down below.
OCA albinism:
This is the more common form of albinism. It affects the body as a whole, causing the individual to have a lack in pigment. So this means that the person’s hair is white/platinum blonde, their skin is very pale and their eyes color varies from pale blue, grey or purple. Although looks are not the only thing altered by OCA albinism. With the appearance comes visual impairments, nystagmus and exetropia. I’ll discuss those later.
OA albinism:
OA albinism is the mutation of this condition in which the individual still suffers from the issues with the eyes, They appear like the average person, still having pigment in their eyes, skin and hair, but still possessing the visual downside of this condition.
How poor is an individual’s eyesight?
Oftentimes, the people with albinism’s eyesight usually varies from 20/200 to completely blind. They are always visually impaired, meaning their vision is 20/200 or worse.
Nystagmus:
Nystagmus is an involuntary muscle movement in one’s eye, often causing their eyes to appear as if they are ‘dancing’ or ‘wiggling’. The person still sees the same, although they appear to not be looking at one specific thing. The ‘wiggling’ often speeds up due to lack of sleep or overstraining of the eye.
Exetropia:
This is the weakness of a muscle in the eye, often causing the person’s eye to drift out to the far left/right, often making them appear as if they are looking in two desperate ways. The person can still see straight ahead, their eyes cannot focus as well.
White canes:
People with albinism often carry around a white cane to alert people on the streets or in public areas of their visual impairment. The cane is a long, white stick with a red bottom, and a rolling ‘marshmallow’ at the bottom.
Sun damage:
Along with no melanin, this often results in high sensitivity to light. The skin can become highly sunburned very easily, so people with albinism oftentimes use a lot of sunscreen, wear hats and sunglasses outside, or even inside.
Stereotype to avoid:
The ‘Magic albino” myth
Oftentimes albino people are seen as ‘mythical’ in other countries, mainly in Africa. They are hunted for limbs, bones, teeth and their eyes because they are believed to contain ‘mystical properties’ to them that cure sicknesses and are often used in ‘potions’.
2. Albinos having red eyes
People with albinism do not in fact have red eyes. The red is often seen as a result of light being directly shone into them, causing the back of their eye to appear due to the translucency of the eye. We do not have red or pink eyes.
One last thing I should mention-Not all people with albinism like the word ‘albino.’ I just use it because it’s shorter and personally I’m fine with it. Some people are not though. Using ‘person with albinism’ can sometimes feel less degrading than ‘albino’ because it’s like you are putting the disability before the person. Just a little tip ^^
That’s all!! Let me know if there’s something I should add!

im really guessing the team behind the Tensura app game (Isekai Memories) didn't expect some freak (me) to spend a couple hours Rosetta Stone-ing the text used in Tempest because after much cross-referencing i have enough of the alphabet to uncover a partial message (excuse my sloppy handwriting my tablet was bugging):
in case that's all illegible, this is what i ended up with:
IS RED I DON'T UNDERSTAND PAST MIDNIGHT I
THEY'RE SAYIN' THE WOMAN IS DAMNED
WITH A WA__ __ HER HA
THE LAND PEOPLE
REACHIN' HIGHER WE WERE
i translated the text under the english wording first and expected some kind of magic reference but as i got further i realized stuff was starting to rhyme i began to suspect they just plugged in random song lyrics and i was completely correct
so. i mean i still get the alphabet which was my initial goal but also.
i'll have the alphabet cleaned up in a bit with sources so if anyone else wants it. that'll be a thing now.

Can I just hit pause for a second and say that the line-read here from one ✨Marisha Ray✨ was absolutely phenomenal. This scene could have been completely shallow and frustrating—for reasons we can all easily name—but instead she gives us Keyleth as grounded, serious, not quite resigned and not quite exhausted and not quite defeated and not quite insecure, but... just, daunted. What is there to do, when faced with the end of the world and the ways of gods, demigods, and (cough) titans? Keyleth is conflicted about having to be a leader called upon by her people, about having to be an adult and not just a kid [remember that she’s the youngest VM member], about having to face dragons and gods know what else. But she’s also trying to be happy. To be one of the “many things that [pass] through fire and find themselves much better for it afterward.” And then the first tip of her toes into that pool and Vax keeps running away.
And it is a credit to Vex that she sees this and gives the generous, stern, knowing advice: “Don’t let him get away.” Not as in, Don’t let him be the One That Got Away™️. As in, Don’t let him run from this happiness either.
