the fact that maria's disappearance has remained a cold case for decades... once ana & her friends died looking for her, they became cold cases too... ana & maria's mom alone after losing both of her daughters, not knowing (for the better, maybe) what cruelty took them from her.
hurts thinking how the victims go looking for maria, what they end up enduring, just to find her long gone (presumably) at black nancy's... the guilt ana would feel for bringing them there, knowing they're going to meet the same fate, that their families won't know what happened.
and of course, how could ana have known? who could have ever thought such horrors awaited them as they set up their camp site in the thicket? as they put up their tent, lit a fire and sat around together, sharing stories about maria and thinking they're close to finding her alive.

THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT AND THE ANTHOLOGY are both good albums and even her best works dare i say. you all are just exaggerating and the hate is so forced.

It’s rare that a new photo comes up unheralded but I have never seen this one before: Queen in Sunderland March 8 1974 according to the caption. Definitely looking more like four poor students against the world than baby rock stars on the brink of success

gaylors piss me off so much bc not only is it kind of ridiculous to try and mold taylor swift, straightest woman ever, into a queer icon, but it’s also shitty to try and out someone? like, best case scenario for gaylors is that they’re right and she’s queer! that means they’ve spent the last decade aggressively trying to shove someone out of the closet. how is that helpful to anyone??
it’s exhausting seeing people do this shit to every celebrity they like and want to relate to. lauren jauregi was one of the few they were right about and guess what! she was outed before she was ready and talked about how the years of speculation negatively impacted her. the kid from heartstopper was bullied into coming out bc people felt cheated when he held hands with a girl!
this obsession with finding out if someone is queer before they actually say anything often just harms queer people and leads to outing. and then outing is normalized bc no one wants to take accountability! just fucking stop. it keeps getting worse and outing can lead to incredibly severe consequences. and with the increase of influencers, the line between celebrity and non-celebrity gets blurred more and more. maybe you don’t care bc celebrities have the resources to keep themselves safe, but what about the regular person who makes fun little videos to share? or cool art that gets big? maybe they’re an author that would’ve preferred anonymity, but needed to advertise their work. would you care then? these are people’s actual lives, it isn’t a fucking game.

Okay but some of you out here on “god’s green internet,” as the youths say, revealing you don’t know who Bonnie Raitt is??? Embarrassing behavior actually. Not at all the flex you think it is.
I guarantee Taylor knows who Bonnie is and respects and admires her craft.

Taylor: *writes songs about how she's the problem, how she's screwed up*
Her haters who don't actually listen to her music: "She should write a song called 'Maybe I'm The Problem'!"
