Pretty much this is a comic I started working on back in May and got pretty attached to. A combined take of several story takes; retrograde amnesia, animatronic liberation as sentient beings with rights, the angst of thinking you’ve finally made it safe and sound only for your worst nightmare to return in full, and the exploratory look on how the dynamic has changed two individuals as sides of the same coin whom have grown and weathered hell together and come out stronger for it-into two sides of different coins, misaligned as they no longer click; one side weathered with the experiences it’s survived, and the other side wiped clean, having never remembered the hell they went through let alone healing from it. Oh, and the whole ‘falling in love all over again, remixed,’ too, of course. 💜

Price buys his clothes from Tesco okay he still has the same old t-shirts that are basically more trash than shirt. Gaz & Soap plan to raid his wardrobe someday and clean it out of all the clothes he should have recycled long time ago. (Ghost's wardrobe is just as bad, he's next)

Gothmog, Thuringwethil, and bonus Tevildo

i was digging around in my files and rediscovered some really old silm art of mine, including my original angband trio designs (mostly traced off heroforge models lol):

and they're actually pretty cool! thuringwethil's tail is maybe a little questionable of a design choice (how are you supposed to fly with a giant tail flopping around...) but it looks really good on gothmog.

i don't really remember what i was doing with sauron (he looks a little like early curufin for unknown reasons) and idk what the wrist things are supposed to be, but Original Flavor Thuringwethil was actually a corrupted maia of manwe (eonwe's sister?), hence the feathers instead of traditional bat wings. for Original Gothmog i am less sure about his origins but he is possibly a corrupted maia of ulmo (originally a sea serpent, hence the tail and ulmo style ear-fins) who basically dried up into a more stone-based serpent

anyways i think I might keep thuringwethil's face/wing design and gothmogs full design for future use

my headcanon is that, while they're all generally broke students, mike has connections for money while rick and neil are supported by their parents just enough to get by (on lentils and half apples and cornflakes, but still.) but of course vyvyan doesn't even have that. and so he ostentatiously swipes food, eating all of neil's and rick's no matter how obviously it's labelled. and he has to do it in the most outwardly selfish, "i don't care i'm just trying to piss you off" way so that they yell at him about how much of a bastard he is and they don't notice how none of the food labelled in the fridge is his because he can't afford any, the same way they don't notice how he's the only one without a coat, etc etc.

My take on The Beast from Chapter 3 of Candela Obscura🕯️

30: Dawn

he'd stayed up all night for this. seeing the sun - the proper sun - crest the horizon again... it had all been worth it.

I watched season two a couple of months ago and just recently now im wondering in episode one where saruhiko has yata pinned to the wall how did they fucking get outta that? Like, did they make out or smth?

I mean obviously, there’s only one way out of a kabedon XD I imagine once Fushimi has Yata pinned and everything he started gloating, mocking Yata for being so easily caught. Yata’s like it’s not my fault you fight dirty, Fushimi smiles lazily and says Misaki is too weak, that’s all. Yata’s body suddenly lights up red, trying to melt the knives, and Fushimi gets an irritated look as he puts his own red power into them. Yata gives a smirk and suddenly pulls away, ripping his shirt as he rolls to one side before Fushimi can stop him. Fushimi’s already swinging his sword though, Yata does a spin on the ground and makes a tornado of flames to push Fushimi back and give himself room to move.

Yata manages to grab his bat while Fushimi’s distracted, suddenly a few more knives come flying through Yata’s flames and probably rip his clothes even more. Yata’s like y’know this was my best shirt stupid monkey, Fushimi laughs mockingly like do you even have decent clothing that doesn’t look like the clothes of a worthless thug, Misaki. Yata decides this is getting in his way now and pulls his hoodie off, fists clenched and ready to fight again. Fushimi looks him up and down, strangely intent, and Yata’s like ‘…what? We’re gonna fight now, right?’. Fushimi shakes off his momentary hesitance and pulls out a few more knives, and they start fighting once again. (Eventually the Reds and Blues return to the building where the whole thing started to regroup, and the half naked Awashima looks at the now half-naked Yata, his tank top also ripped to shreds, and raises an eyebrow at Fushimi.)
