Lovers to strangers (Part 2) - Gepard (turning towards Luka here though)
Part 1 here. Gender neutral reader, Sampo betrays the reader here. I'm writing in Luka here BC I felt like it lol, he may or may not be your next love interest but shh.
--
Your place for rent was chasing you up about payments that were missing from your accounts, and you only realised what happened after you were eventually evicted. Now on the street, your stuff with you, Sampo was there with a gift box.
"Here, open it." Sampo states, brimming with excitement at you receiving this present he made for you. Opening it, a big cloud of smoke obscures your view, you hearing his voice giggling as he escapes. When your vision becomes clear, you see a letter addressed to you.
_-_-_
'_,
I'm not actually your brother! Isn't it funny how you went with that so easily?
Anyway, thanks for your generous donation to the Sampo Koski fund.
Love you like a brother,
Sampo Koski.'
_-_-_
Your jaw drops, processing the fact you didn't actually have a brother. The bastard scammed you, he took your long term boyfriend away from you by referring to himself as your brother, and now he's taken all of your savings. You can only hope Natasha would still be happy to keep you around as an assistant, despite your wishful thinking backfiring at you like this.
"Are you _?" You hear a man ask, shaking you from your thoughts. You nod, and he smiles as he introduces himself. "The name's Luka. Doctor Natasha told me you'd be able to accompany me to my cage fights tonight."
Oh, uhh..." You trail off, looking at the letter once more.
What was the probability that Sampo was going to be there? Would he call you out as the idiot who thought he was related to you?
"Just this once? I'm sure once you see me fight, you'll be convinced to tag along." Luka smirks, his mechanical arm giving an enthusiastic thumbs up.
--
Turns out, Luka was right.
He got your mind off your situation for a bit, in fact it seemed like he was fighting for you. Flashing smiles and winks at you when he had a second, giving his all in a lovely fight, and he eventually won the battle.
"Hah, Sampo lost another bet!" You hear someone cackle. "He's always wrong about Luka."
Luka taps your shoulder, smiling warmly at you as you begin to carry out the checks for his arm, as well as the basics.
"I heard about him, you know? He was boasting about screwing you over." Luka huffs, frowning to himself. "He's a shady guy, but he's also really good at pretending. I don't blame you for thinking you were related."
...just how did he know about all of this? Did everyone know about him being fake with you about your relation to him? Did your boyfriend know all this time?
"I think this was one of my best fights. I think you're my good luck charm." Luka chuckles. "How about I treat you to a congratulatory meal for helping my victory?"
--
Natasha knew fine well Luka was going to be fine without having a doctor there, but she knew he was one of the few guys that you would be safe with. Natasha knew he was stealing glances at you whenever he could, a very obvious look of interest in his eyes and his heart rate growing at a rapid rate when you enter the room. Instead of scolding him for trying to take a doctor to the fighting ring like she would with Sampo, she gives him directions to you. She felt terrible for only discovering the source of your financial problems merely a few hours ago, so she wanted you to know you still have your job with her while also letting Luka take you on a date.
Upon hearing Sampo blew the money he got from stealing from you due to him betting incorrectly on Lukas fight, she couldn't hold back a knowing smirk. She was glad to know he wouldn't enjoy what he stole from you. Looking out the window, her heart swells with joy when she notices Luka walking you to a food stand.
Yes, Luka was going to treat you well.
--
While all of this was going down, Gepard had also heard of the crime Sampo had committed and bragged about. How dare he steal from you like that, and like to you about something as important as being related to each other! He wanted to find you, but due to his work he has to wait until he gets time off.
For now, he had to prioritise somehow getting Sampo charged for his crime.
--
"Here's my number, thank you for making me feel better." You say, Luka enthusiastically typing in your number and sending you a test message to make sure he had your details correct.
"Let me know when you're free," Luka smiles, seeing you turn to speak to Natasha. After making sure you entered the office, he finally heads home.

ML Rewrite Update~
Making a couple of changes/additions. You can find them under the cut. These pertain to S1 mostly.
Yeah, haven't exactly shared publicly yet, but I will be scrapping Marinette's initial Adrien crush storyline entirely. Why? Because I find it stupid that the umbrella scene was what started it all. It's inorganic, and I doubt Marinette, in the right mind, would actually let all her initial reservations about Adrien go after ONE nice act. This is a major fix that I felt was needed. So for S1 Adrien & Marinette: It'll mostly follow Adrien trying to befriend Marinette, and show her that he isn't as bad as she thinks he is. So slowburn friendship? ((//And so Adrien's attempts at friendship are kind of taken out-of-context by the girls (minus Juleka), as they think his interest in her is something more than it is. Marinette, obviously has no interest, but Alya still insists on the idea, and the rest of the girls kinda follow her mindset.)) And so naturally, I have decided that instead I will have Marinette initially crush on Luka... Still thinking about how to introduce him in on an S1 rewrite organically, but who knows? I might use his debut episode as inspiration, if only because it was already perfect to begin with. ((And worry not because Mari will be able to form complete sentences around him... she might just stumble on her words every now and then? Because who wouldn't? Luka's an absolute sweetheart, and he'll be sure to put her at ease. I will also add that S1 Mari will be completely unaware that this a crush. She just knows that she feels butterflies when she's around him, and that she feels safe, and heard.)) **Tikki, the Lukanette Shipper will make plenty of appearances. Rest assured, you'll see a supportive kwami for all the right reasons. ________________ I know the crush change from the very, very start is a pretty major change considering the LS are fated/told to be soulmates from the very beginning of the series, but it's just icky. It doesn't work, and trying to force myself to rewrite certain things that I can't make sense out of just doesn't help with motivation, so this is my solution.
Now I don't know if this deviates interest, but this is what I'm going with from here on out.

Tumblr media
CHAPTER 9
“Her social media has been blacked out, but it doesn’t mean her social life has been one bit boring,” the first commentator replies as the screen is parted with a continuous series of screen shots, simple photos, paparazzi photos, videos Anna dancing, singing (karaoke?).
“The squad has been summoned, for sure,” the second commentator adds up as different model-looking girls show in different clips. Max recognizes some of the faces from perfume adds and perhaps a movie. There are little notes indicating cities the clips are from. So far Max has read Paris, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Tokio. “It seems new year’s was only the beginning,” Again her photo exiting the new year’s party, long legs exposed. He has been trying to pay attention to his meal as everyone had already finished, moved up to the sofa and turned on the tv – gossip column first thing that came on, and so far there’s no taking it off without angering the group on his sofa. His food is cold, making him admit that he’s as absorbed in the morning gossip.
“ ‘Where are Anna Pearson’s stockings’ stopped being the most sought question in Google after news flashed of Roberto Maño’s possible interview deal with Oprah,” the commentator does a dramatic pause, looking straight to the camera. “And little after, Ms. Pearson can be seen in Tokio singing best friend’s new hit Vampire…” the voice of the commentator fades to a capture of a tiktok clip of Anna singing to the camera of probably one of her friends. They are giggling stumbling upon the Japanese streets, onlookers to their sides.
“The way you sold me for parts, you sunk your teeth into me,” she sings with another one out of frame eyes looking elsewhere, Max suspects a little bit drunk. She giggles to the camera staring directly her big hypnotizing honey eyes. “Bloodsucker, famefucker!” She sings louder, laughs, takes a gulp of something before finishing in a softer more sober tone. “Bleeding me dry like a goddamn vampire!” The camera leaves her to show the rest of her friends laughing continuing the song.
“The thing is… Anna can introduce me to her friends, right?” Lando asks, from his seat on the coach. “I mean, I did get you to that party, didn’t I?” The British driver has taken off his shoes laying his for sure sweaty feet over the coffee table. Unnoticed by the rest who are caught into the gossip talk show. Max rolls his eyes ignoring his friend, Danny chuckling besides him. The aussie driver is the only who has remained sitting, as he’s distracted typing rapidly on his phone.
“The social medial black out we are still not sure if it’s a publicity stun after her contract with F1 has been made public, if there might be a surprise album coming or if it has to do with Roberto’s Oprah interview,” the first commentator continues, cutting to the image of the well looking actor in a red carpet. Tall, thick hair perfectly coiffed as the actor walks a red carpet with confidence, moving his perfectly tailored jacket to pose for the cameras, big perfected smile.
“He’s an asshole,” Victoria chips whispering from her place in the sofa as she balances Luka near her chest sleeping. “I mean, she’s always been notoriously quiet about well…” Victoria glances back at her brother who stares at her deadpanned.
“What it’s for sure is that vampire has flown to the top of the lists, and many are speculating the second mystery writer of the song might as well be Anna Pearson…” There’s a video of another girl, vaguely familiar to Max signing the same lyrics Anna was before.
It’s been a couple of weeks since they last saw each other and their texting has certainly quiet down from the first day’s frenzy. Max hasn’t dared to ask anything about her plans after she asked if he could stay in London for a few more days. Which he couldn’t. He had felt the tension of the unmentioned toppings in their conversation increasing as the days passed.
He had refused to let conversation dry completely sending her anything silly that passed through his social media, comforted that her humour remained untouched but the closing of her social media – which she told him beforehand, though gave little to no explanation -  had crippled his efforts. She was barely on her phone, as it was, usually answering in different hours. He did know they had a big show coming and she would be mostly practicing. And partying apparently.
“In two weeks, we will be seeing Anna Pearson performing in the European MTV Awards, in Italy, to receive her ten-year commemoration,” the commentators continue in the background. “We are expecting a 15 minute show, or at least that’s what we could get from-”
“It’s two days after the Oprah interview goes live, no?”
“Yeah, but in Pearson’s favour, she had confirmed her presence in the EMAs long before Roberto made the break up statement-”.
“What a ****,”
“I know I’m team Anna for sure,”
“And are we going to talk about the hair?”
“I think she looks gorgeous with her hair short,” Heidi says to Victoria.
“Me too, right Maxie?” Victoria agrees, glancing cheekily and knowingly to her brother.
“I’ll tell when I see her,” Max mutters his back to the TV trying to block the gossip shows Heidi, Victoria and Lando insisted on playing on his TV. Daniel laughs near him.
“Ohhh so now it’s when you see her?” Victoria continues, turning slowly, careful not to wait her sleeping child. In spite of him not confirming to his sibling or Lando that anything had happened, Lando has been constantly repeating whatever he thought he saw at the New Year’s party, even Max’s mother is aware something happened. And what Lando knows wasn’t much but it didn’t take much for the british driver to dramatize it. Victoria has happily joined the teasing.
It’s Heidi he worries might know something and pass it along, but Daniel has insisted he hasn’t said anything to her. Max doubts it, because he knows how pillow talk sometimes works. Kelly and Heidi weren’t bests of friends but they did hang out. Enough for Heidi not to confirm anything from Kelly’s side. And this thing with Anna was still not something he knew what it was but he didn’t want to hurt Kelly in spite of not knowing anything about her since October.
“That’s something,” Lando agrees by Max’s side.
“Do you get tickets for the EMAs brother dear?” Victoria asks her voice a bit higher than before, making Luka whine.
“Dunno,” Max says shrugging.
“It’s in Milan,” she adds, he shrugs again non-committal.
“Danny got tickets,” Heidi intervenes and the bell of Max’s phone interrupts his little focus on the conversation.
AnnieP: hi!
Maxie: hi
He feels the nerves in his stomach. Daniel has taken over the conversation, a knowing glance from his teammate lets Max know something shows in his face when he sees Anna’s name. Fuck it all. He takes advantage of the aussie as distraction, slipping to the balcony for the little privacy he can manage.
Annie P: can I call you?
His throat runs dry because since New Year’s texting is all they’ve ever done. And just texting. Memes, links of silly news, a song – or the beginnings of one if he understood her correctly. He glances back to the living room where everyone seems distracted with conversation, perhaps Danny has been successful changing subjects. There’s a part of him that wants to tell her no, make her wait a bit, but at the end wanting to hear her wins with great margin.
Max: sure.
She must have been waiting for his answer because less than ten seconds later he has her face on his screen. He’d forgotten he had her saved with an old photo of them. Before trying to remember when they took that particular photo he accepts and it’s then he realizes it’s a videocall.
Her face shows and her lips draw a happy grin. He brushes clumsily his hair as quickly as he can before she starts chuckling perceptively.
“Hi!” She repeats cheerful, nothing but joy in her face.
“You said call, not videocall,” he snaps embarrassed. He had never been a vain person but he still was conscious he was still in his sweated padel clothes, he hadn’t even seen himself in the mirror since they arrived.
“Sorry,” she laughs, clearly not sorry at all. “You look gorgeous, anyways,” she adds fondly, is she blushing? Is he blushing? She’s in a dark room as far as he can see, probably recording studio.  Her hair is indeed shorter but it still is dark chocolate.
She then shows him her free hand, her casted hand.
“What happened?” he frowns worried, his hair forgotten.
“That’s why I’m calling, texting takes too long,” she whines lowering her casted hand.
“And videocalling?”
“I might miss your face as well as your voice,” she answers a sly grin stretching on her face, flirtatiously.
“In which time zone are you?” he asks when her laughter begins to quiet down.
“Uff returned to London yesterday, it’s been a bit hectic,” she murmurs, brushing her hair away from her face. “We are recording ‘til 15h, then choreo, hopefully tonight I get to stay home… and you?”
“Mom left yesterday. Vic’s still here with the kids,” he says awkwardly.
“Uncle Maxie,” she coos, big smile not leaving her face. He shakes his head in fake disapproval.
“I hear you might be coming to Italy soon?” he drops, changing subject and she bites her lip.
“Yup, next week I’ll be there for practice, and two weeks after it’s the show,” she answers a hesitant half smile on her face.
He can’t say it’s been hard or easy getting back in contact with her. There’s something between them that hasn’t changed, conversation is usually. But at the same time, he’s not blind to how different things are. In spite of her cheery complexion, her flirtatious tone, he knows there’s a barrier there that wasn’t there before, something that wasn’t there before. She’s more guarded. Something he knows he’s to blame for.
“Italy is not far from Monaco,” he continues nervously not looking away from the video. “I could... or you could…” he shrugs feeling absolutely pathetic in his attempt to be smooth. Fuck it. “Can we meet?”
She laughs and nods emphatically, her grin impossibly wide.
“Thought you’d never ask!”
It was as if awkwardness faded suddenly and all was left was them.
She explains how they were working on a much more physical presentation than she’s used to and she fell badly on her wrist. It hadn’t been too serious, she should be alright for the show, but depending on how she recovered she might not be able to play the guitar how they had planned for the first half of the show, the choreography had already been changed to avoid anything worse.
Then she had dramatically described her clumsy accident. A slip with a cord as her dancing partner was twirling her around. He laughed merrily, knowing at the end she was fine.
“I’d like to see you try Verstappen!” she mocked.
“After you give a spin with one of our cars,” he had retorted quickly remembering how she had almost crashed one of his first cars, when he let her drive it.
“I’m a much better driver now, thank you very much,” she snapped back but her tone held no real grudge behind.
“Wanna bet?” he challenged wiggling his eyebrows.
“Name the prize,” she agrees wiggling her own, cheeks heated a quick remembrance of an old bet of them that had ended with a broken table. He feels flushed as he remembers all too well.
Someone calls for her, breaking the moment and allowing them to reign themselves. She asks for ten more minutes. Once the person outside of the image is out, she rolls her eyes as she grins to the camera and asks him again what’s new with him.
He told her about his new found love of paddle, and perhaps he exaggerated his prowess, which he suspected she had noticed as she snorts when he tries bragging of winning Lando – forgetting to mention Danny had done most of the job. He told her Lando had been bugging him for her to present her friends to him. That had gained a contagious laugh from her.
“Bring him with you,” Anna encourages, delicately taking a lock of rebel hair, behind her ear. She adds they could meet in group in case a paparazzi got word of where she was. Just in case. The unsaid words boost him to be bold. It’s then he notices how insecure he feels with their whole ordeal. Max offers he could go back with her to London because he had to drop in Milton Keys in the next few weeks. Her face parts into a big grin that warms him deeply. He’s debating himself to ask what she would like to do lodging wise when Lando opens loudly the sliding crystal door keeping him inside.
“Annaaaaa,” he greets sitting next to Max, taking the phone from his hands. Danny appears by the window frame apologetically.
“Hi Mr. Lando!” She returns warmly. “I hear today wasn’t a good the at the paddle court for you?”
“I couldn’t keep him any longer,” Daniel tells Max sighing dramatically. “And also, I wanted to say hi!” he squeezes himself at Max’s other side. Max could hear her laughing. He sighs in resignation, knowing it will be difficult to have his phone and his privacy back.
“Assholes,” he mutters.
“Mr. Ricciardo!” she greets, merrily, ignoring Max’s comment. “Long time no see!”
“Ditto!” the Australian mirrored her grin and excitement. “Are you-”
“Is Rachel there?” Lando interrupts. She laughs and shakes her head.
“I’m afraid if she were I wouldn’t be allowed to use my phone,” she confides but there are no bad feelings in her voice. “She’s been forced to take a two week break by her employer”.
“Meaning you,” Max adds deadpanned.
“Yup!” she answers grinning proudly.
In less than ten minutes Lando and Daniel have agreed to join him to see Anna in Milan, ffor the EMA’s and then they will all return together to London. She leaves him to continue recording. Lando tries to ask her if it’s a new album but she escapes answering laughing when she hangs up.

My Miraculous Ladybug Rewrite - Season 4
This would be very similar and very different compared to canon's Season 4. Right out of the gate, we have: Ladybug and Chat Noir know each other's identity since the Season 3 finale, and they are dating; they are also dating Kagami, but she doesn't know their identities; Chloé is still a friend and a part of Team Miraculous. Many episodes are the same or very similar to canon, while others are completely replaced due to a different direction of the plot or personal taste (Rocketear, I'm looking at you, or rather not), and it also has a very different ending. And no Sentikids (except Félix). I'll probably go into further detail on him in another post.
Episodes: 501: Canary- Gabriel fixes the Peacock Miraculous and combines it with the Butterfly Miraculous to become Shadow Moth. Jagged Stone overhears Chloé talking with Sabrina about her theory that he and Luka might be related. He confronts Anarka over it and is Akumatized into Canary, with the power to force people to tell the truth ("Sing like a canary"), and aided by an immobilizing Sentimonster called Spotlight.
502: Lies- Kagami becomes upset that Marinette and Adrien are keeping things from her and bailing on their dates and is Akumatized into Lies as a result. Ultimately unable to reconcile their unwillingness to trust her completely, she breaks up with her partners.
503: Gang of Secrets- Marinette struggles with her responsibilities, and Adrien tries to convince her to let others share the burden. The Girl Squad tries to reach out to Marinette, only to be rejected, and are Akumatized as a result. Marinette tells Alya her secret identity.
504: Mr. Pigeon 72- With Alya's help, Ladybug figures out how to create magical charms that can protect someone from Akumatization. After Mr. Ramier's seventy-second Akumatization, she gives him the first charm. Chat Noir learns that Ladybug has shared her secret with Alya, and Alya learns that Chat Noir is Adrien but also realizes why Kagami broke up with them.
505: Psycomedian- Marinette takes Adrien to see Harry Clown's comedy show, thinking he would like it, but finds out that it was her who had made him laugh earlier.
506: Furious Fu- The Celestial Guardian Su-Han appears and demands that Marinette relinquish the Miracle Box to him, but she and Adrien stand up to him. After he causes Master Fu to be Akumatized and the hero duo save his bacon, Su-Han reconsiders and allows them to keep their Miraculouses and the Miracle Box. He stays in Paris to become acquainted with the modern world and to watch over the heroes.
507: Broken Bonds- Chloé's half-sister comes to Paris to stay with her mother's other family, but everyone is shocked to discover that she even exists. Chloé introduces Zoé to her classmates, who eagerly welcome her. Saddened that Audrey lied about the Bourgeois knowing about her and ashamed of the awkwardness and tension that formed around the family, Zoé is Akumatized.
508: Wardrobe- Chloé becomes insecure as her friends quickly bond with her newfound half-sister. Chloé gets into a fight with her mother, who is Akumatized and provided with a Sentimonster called Wardrobe. Since Chloé is quickly taken out, Ladybug gives the Bee Miraculous to Zoé so she can help out. Chloé effectively disowns Audrey as her mother, and André files for divorce.
509: Gabriel Agreste- Gabriel holds a gala and invites Marinette, Kagami, Chloé, Zoé, and Félix. Félix seeks proof that Gabriel is Shadow Moth while Gabriel attempts to take his wedding back from Félix, creating a Sentimonster of himself and Akumatizing it into The Collector. Chloé and Zoé bond while awkward tension brews between Marinette, Adrien, and Kagami.
510: Reigncloud- Mylène leads the class in protesting against Project Oxygen, and André, who had naïvely advocated for the environment-wrecking project, is Akumatized into Malediktator and provided with a Sentimonster called Reigncloud that splits him into thousands of tiny copies to take control of the people of Paris. Ladybug chooses Mylène to wield the Mouse Miraculous as Petite Souris.
511: Guiltrip- The class learns that Rose had cancer as a child and that there is a chance it could come back. Feeling guilty for leaking this information and affecting how everyone treats Rose, Juleka is Akumatized into Reflekta and lets herself be sucked into the Sentimonster Guiltrip, which threatens to pull everyone into a black hole of depression. Ladybug chooses Rose to wield the Pig Miraculous as Pigella.
512: Crocoduel- Jagged Stone visits to bond with his son on Luka's birthday. Jagged's presence makes Juleka think about and miss her deceased dad. Jagged and Anarka argue about the former's efforts to become a part of their son's life and both are Akumatized, clashing with each other in the sky above Paris. Ladybug recruits Juleka to wield the Tiger Miraculous as Purple Tigress.
513: Optigami- Shadow Moth and Nathalie had a Sentimonster spying on the heroes whose identities have been revealed by Miracle Queen for weeks. Gabriel lures the heroes to a fashion award show and Akumatizes Audrey to take them out so he can replace one with a Sentimonster and hide Nathalie's spy Sentimonster in a Miraculous in order to discover Ladybug's identity. Marinette makes Alya the permanent holder of the Fox Miraculous.
514: Sentibubbler- Shadow Moth holds the Césaires, as well as Marinette and Nino, hostage to force Alya to betray Ladybug and Chat Noir. As she currently has the Fox Miraculous at all times, she instead turns the tables and ensures the rescue of her loved ones.
515: Pixelator 2- (Taking the place of Glaciator 2) After a team-up, Ryuko asks Ladybug and Chat Noir out on a date. They ultimately determine that the duo cannot date her as Shadow Moth would target her to hurt them. In the meantime, Present!Alix Kubdel makes her first onscreen appearance as Bunnyx alongside the team in the opening mission, while Alya has taken on a secret observer role as Rena Furtive.
516: Hack-San- Having to leave town for the weekend, Marinette gives the Ladybug Miraculous to Alya, who calls herself Scarabella. Shadow Moth uses a Sentimonster to infect Markov so he can Akumatize him into Robostus and keep him loyal.
517: Lockup- Sabrina puts too much pressure on herself to help people, so Marinette and Zoé suggest that she take a mental health day. Roger has an overload of his obsession with upholding the law and is Akumatized and provided with a Sentimonster called Lockup that captures civilians and heroes that he deems to be "lawbreakers". Ladybug recruits Sabrina to wield the Dog Miraculous as Miss Hound.
518: Slander- (Replaces Rocketear) Zoé auditions for the Ladybug and Chat Noir movie sequel casting, but upon learning how the writing treats Queen Bee, she quits and enlists her friends to make their own film. A former victim of Chloé's bullying is enraged that his peers would make a film to "glorify" her and is Akumatized into a villain who fans the fires of rage in the people around him. Ladybug and Chat Noir recruit Nathaniel and Marc to wield the Rooster and Goat Miraculouses as Falun Feather and Capricorn.
519: Wishmaker- Marinette and Adrien evaluate their dreams for the future. Alec Cataldi faces the fact that he built a career out of tormenting others in response to being bullied as a kid and breaks down, becoming Akumatized. He vows to turn over a new leaf afterward. Luka discovers Ladybug and Chat Noir's identities.
520: Theatrickster- (Replaces Simpleman) A student who writes her own play wants the theater instructor to put it up for the school to perform, but is turned down, and she is Akumatized into a villain who mind controls anyone who enters the auditorium into part of the cast and crew or audience members. Ladybug recruits Ivan to wield the Ox Miraculous as Minotaurox.
521: Qilin- Due to a misunderstanding (and a ticket collector's bigotry), Sabine is wrongfully arrested, and as a result is Akumatized. Roger learns that strictly following the letter of the law does not always align with what is right.
522: Dearest Family- Tikki gets an insatiable craving for the King's Day galettes that Tom and Rolland make. Marinette's parents and grandparents argue over Gina wanting to give Marinette a motorcycle, and all four are Akumatized. Sabine's Magical Charm limits the effect on her, so she keeps control of her thoughts and fights to protect Marinette.
523: Safari- (Replaces Ephemeral) Shadow Moth sets a trap for Ladybug and Chat Noir, Akumatizing Nathalie into the hunter Safari and providing her with a Sentimonster copy of Stormy Weather. Sentiweather leads the duo to Shadow Moth, and the ensuing confrontation leads to the heroes and villain learning each other's secret identities. Ladybug and Chat Noir reveal Shadow Moth's identity on the news, and all three (plus Marinette's family) are forced into hiding.
524: Riposte 2- (Replaces Kuro Neko) Realizing that Ladybug and Chat Noir are in love with Kagami, Shadow Moth has Lila set her up for Akumatization to lure the heroes out. After Deakumatizing her, Ladybug and Chat Noir reveal their identities to Kagami. She forgives them and they get back together.
525: Queen Aurum- (Replaces Penalteam) Chloé discovers that Zoé is Vesperia. Fearing that she is being replaced on both friend and hero fronts, she is made vulnerable to Akumatization and Shadow Moth's attempts at corrupting her, gaining the power to transform those she hits into golden copies of herself, the transformed heroes retaining their Miraculouses. Zoé surrendering and offering the Bee Miraculous to Chloé makes the latter realize that her sister would never replace her and she restores everyone and rejects the Akuma.
526: Replicator - The Final Akuma Part One: (Replaces Risk) Allies use the locations of Akumatizations to narrow down Shadow Moth's new hideout. Félix cuts a deal with Gabriel, offering to become a powerful Akuma to capture the Miraculouses for him in exchange for the Peacock Miraculous. As Replicator, Félix creates copies of just about every past Akuma under his control and forms an army to battle the full Miraculous Team.
527: Shadow Moth - The Final Akuma Part Two: (Replaces Strikeback) The Season Finale. The full Team Miraculous, aided by groups of civilians, battles against Replicator and his army of Akuma Replicants. Ladybug and Chat Noir allow themselves to be petrified and brought to Shadow Moth so that Rena Furtive and Viperion can track where Shadow Moth is hiding and Viperion can reset to report this to the team. The heroes engage in a final showdown with Shadow Moth, defeating him and reclaiming both of his Miraculouses.

Introducing Amitee
Tumblr media
Name: Amitee (Am-it-e) Hanslee
Age- 14
Godly parent- Apollo
Personality- Little ball of sunshine, Just like candy (crazy like on a sugar high but then there’s the sugar crash…)
Likes and dislikes- She enjoys helping in the infirmary, enjoys reading and drawing. She hates Pizza, carrots and Gatorade (read backstory to find out why)
Pronouns and Sexuality - She/her and Pansexual
She has ADHD and Dyslexia
Backstory
Amitee was born to a single mother (Maggie Hanslee) in California. When she was 5 her mother married a man named Christopher (Chris for short) Chris didn’t like Amitee very much and thought she was an annoying little prick and that her mum should put her up for adoption. Instead her mum was able to compromise and when she was 7 she was sent to a boarding school. At the boarding school she befriend a boy called Mathew (He was also a halfblood but they both didn’t know at the time obviously). After a year at the school she came home to find out her mother had gotten cancer while she had been at the school and had passed away and she was now in the custody of Chris. Promptly as she returned home Chis told her she had to live in the basement and not bother him and he fed her nothing except Pizza, carrots and Gatorade , she lived like this for two years. When she was 9 she ran away knowing that Chris would never come looking for her, she hopped on a bus in hope of finding the boarding school again. On her journey she could tell something was following her but she pushed it to the back of her mind. When she made it to the school she saw Mattie sitting with another boy in the tree they use to sit in, she ran up to him and he was delighted to see her again, he introduced her to Alder (he is a satyr) . The reunion was short lived as a Monster soon attacked them luckily Alder was able to defeat it and he had to difficult explain to two frightened children why he has goat legs and what on earth a half blood was. After a lengthy explanation they set of for Camp halfblood. After several days they arrived at the camp were Mattie was quickly claimed as a son of Athena and taken to the Athena cabin. Amitee was shown around the camp by Will Solace. Even after dinner Amitee still hadn’t been claimed and everyone was quite confused it was starting to turn night and she still wasn’t claimed, She watched Mattie having a great time with the other Athena kids and felt like a burden on everyone, she was put in the Hermes cabin but Mattie told her that she would be claimed really soon all though Amitee didn’t believe him. The next morning right before breakfast she was claimed as a daughter of Apollo and moved to the Apollo cabin. Both Amitee and Mattie became year round camper and have been at camp halfblood for 5 years. Now she is 14 she is a skilled healer and often helps around the infirmary and spends most of her time having friendly sword fights with Mattie and his boyfriend Luka.

petit pain dans le four - (E, lukadrinette)
“Take one step, I dare you!” Chat Blanc roared at him before the snake could speak.
Viperion lifted his hands to try to calm him down. “Adrien, breathe, it's okay… You don’t have to hurt her… Please don’t hurt her…”
A rolling hiss burbled in Blanc’s throat. “How did you do it? How did you escape the time loop?!”
He gave a soft huff, grinning back at the white cat. “What? You thought I wouldn’t have bumped into this problem myself, after using the Snake Miraculous for years?” Viperion shook his head. “Time loops are easy to break out of. You just have to know the right moment. I’ve had practice, and Bunnyx has given me special training for it. All you have to do is know you’re in the loop and know what needs to change to create a ripple effect through the loop to break it.”
Chat Blanc blinked, relaxing his grip on Marinette. “Wait, really?”
Their boyfriend gave him a stern look through his eyebrows and mask, as if he were looking up at the corrupted hero through glasses.
“Oh, right, sorry…” Blanc glared at him again, and the woman in his grip struggled against him. His eyes narrowed on Viperion. “I won’t do it, Luka! I won’t give up my Miraculous! Nothing you can say or do will make me surrender it!”

Kittens for Christmas - (E, lukadrinette)
"Go find somewhere else to sleep," Marinette whispered to her kwami. "Please…"
Sass whined, but obeyed. He gave her chin a gentle bonk and unraveled his tail, floating away to phase through a wall and disappear.
Chat Blanc visibly relaxed. He padded closer to her, near enough that he sat down on the floor beside her chair, making himself comfortable. His head went onto her lap, his eyes closing as he sighed heavily. The tears continued to fall silently, even as she combed her fingers through his hair in gentle strokes. He didn't purr. She tried to coax him, rubbing behind his ears and under his chin, but he didn't make a sound.
“Would you like me to sing to you?” Marinette offered, her hand not stopping, not going still for too long. She rubbed behind his ear, knowing that’s what her Chat preferred.

Swinging from the Gallows Pole - (T, felinette)
“You got a fine widow,” the hangman purred. “She brought a little silver, your cousin brought a little gold… But nothing would bring me more joy than to see you swinging from the gallows pole.”
Felix stared him down, saying nothing and only raising his chin in mute defiance.
For every heartbeat Felix said nothing, the hangman’s smirk twisted into a scowl. The blond huffed a wry smile. He’s used to begging and pleading. Last minute bribes and empty promises. Flattery and tears. Not today, sir. To prove his point, Felix turned away from him, facing the crowd. Not from me.
His heart dropped.
On the distant horizon, on the blue sea beyond the fort parapets and battlements were the black and green sails of the Liberty.
Luka… Felix closed his eyes. He’s leaving me… He huffed, smiling through his cracking heart. Any pirate who falls behind… stays behind…

From Ballroom to Bedroom - (E, lukadrinette)
“You were gonna ask me something, weren’t you?” Marinette asked in a whisper. “Before Alya interrupted us, you were going to ask me something. Please ask me…”
He smiled that shy half-smile that the photographers and paparazzi rarely saw as he nodded. “Yeah…” Adrien glanced over her shoulder as Luka came up to them. “Listen, I know this is sudden and we haven’t really introduced ourselves and all, but um… we were looking for… we were hoping, um…”
Luka chuckled, taking her hand and kissing her knuckles. “What my tongue-tied boyfriend is trying to ask is if you would be willing to join us for a more… intimate, private dance in our hotel room.”
“You don’t have to say yes!” Adrien stammered. “If you say no, we totally understand. No harm, no foul, right? You just, um, you seemed really comfortable between us and -”
“Yes,” Marinette said before he could stutter himself further into a hole. She gave Luka’s hand a squeeze and smiled at Adrien. “You have no idea how much I was hoping that’s what you were going to ask me… and my answer is hell yes. A hundred thousand percent yes. I am totally okay with having a threesome with you two.”
---
By the Numbers - (E, lukanette)
The Miracle Box Bakery and Cafe was rather busy at three in the afternoon, so much so that Luka had to park several blocks down the street. But as he walked by the windows and through the door, he smiled at the quaint interior and displays of baked goods. The pictures didn’t do it justice, and as his gaze landed on the sole owner and employee, Luka decided very quickly that he’d need to talk to Felix about their freelance photographer.
She wasn’t just pretty.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng was breathtakingly beautiful.
He stood among the throng of customers like a pilgrim having arrived at Mecca for the first time, awestruck. The photo of her was in black and white, grainy from zoom with a cheap camera. In the flesh and blood, she was bright and colorful, her smile like blooming peach blossoms that lit up the room with an eternal glow. He could write songs about the blues of her eyes or the music in her voice as she spoke with other customers. One said something that made her giggle, and he honest to God thought he was going to faint from the bell-like chime of her laughter.
Five minutes in and his mind was already made up.
Luka was going to do anything and everything he could to spare this woman and her sanctuary of confectionery delights from the jaws of the tax man.
---
Four Little Somethings - (T, feluka)
"Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon," Felix read out loud.
His boyfriend could hardly contain his giddy grin. "Mmhm. I know romance and fantasy aren't your usual genres, but I thought you might like it."
"What is it about?" the blond asked as he flipped it over. He didn't know why he was looking. Backs of the books never had synopses anymore, and in my opinion, that marked the beginning of civilization's downfall… That and the loss of the slutty oil painting covers.
Luka's grin grew. His accent started to slip again, as if his voice knew he was going home, and that there was no longer a need for him to speak like a Frenchman. "It's about a British army nurse who travels to Scotland and steps through a stone circle that sends her back in time. There she meets and falls in love with a Scottish highlander."
He smiled through his blush. "Ah yes, another bodice ripper…"
"You'd be surprised, actually. This one goes pretty deep into history and gets more points right than other books and movies." His voice lowered to a grumble. "Don't even get me started on Braveheart… "
---
Of Gowns and Gloves - (E, marigami)
Kagami cleared her throat as warning, shifting her weight on her feet a little more to open her legs and give her wife more room under her. Marinette had come racing and breathless to her minutes ago, begging for Kagami to hide her because she had stirred the bee’s nest and angered Chloe by insulting her golden dress. Lacking anywhere else for her to go, Kagami had lifted her skirts to let Marinette hide within her own creation. Champagne glass in hand, the fencer was left to stand in place, waiting and watching the others meander and mingle, trickling in and out of the dining hall to retrieve plates of canapes and fresh glasses of champagne. She was also grateful for her heels, which gave her an extra few inches. Her legs were spread to accommodate the young woman hiding under the layers of satin and cotton.
Five more minutes, Kagami thought. We’ll wait five more minutes. Once we’re sure that Chloe has either calmed down or left the building, I can call a car and we can… somehow get to it without being spotted. Can I even walk with her between my legs like this?
She lifted her chin and tapped her foot three times to warn Marinette as Chloe came stomping towards her.
“Where is she?” Chloe demanded.
It took Kagami a moment to reign in the everything that wanted to gush out reflexively in response. Did I not once tell her to never touch me, never speak to me, never even look at me ever again? And now she’s somehow developed the audacious balls to come at me and demand that I oust my wife?!
Kagami rolled her tongue in her mouth to swallow back the building venom she wanted so very badly to spit.
“She who?” Kagami asked in her fake-calmest voice she could muster.
---
The Star-Pilot's Kiss - (E, lukanette)
Luka leveled a hard look at Alya, his face serious. “Keep her safe.” He grabbed his guitar bag and started to walk away.
“Where are you going?!” Alya shouted since Marinette was lost for words.
The musician didn’t reply, giving them only a smile as he walked towards one of the beams of light sweeping over the streets. He didn’t look back again as Marinette screamed his name, as Alya grabbed her by her arms, as Alya dragged her into the café. She struggled to free herself of her friend’s grasp as they ducked under the window, sitting up enough to watch. A beam of light hit Luka and turned red suddenly. An invisible force grabbed him and slowly lifted him off the ground.
Marinette shrugged off her friend and broke free, sprinting for the door.
“Girl, where the fuck do you think you’re going?!” Alya hissed.
The fashion designer stopped at the door to glare at her friend. “I’m not letting aliens abduct the first decent date I’ve had!”
---
The Sea Dragon's Pearl (E, marigami)
“If you pull me up, I’ll gut you before you lay a hand on me,” the woman snarled back.
“Sure, you might kill one of us. But all of us?” Skinner tutted. “Besides, it wouldn’t be very ladylike or honorable,” he sneered the words, “for a woman to dirty her hands with killing, now would it? High time you learn your place! And it’s either on land or in the galley!”
“So that’s what this is about… You scoundrels can’t handle a woman in command?!”
“Oh, not only that, princess,” he hummed. “How much do you think she would pay to have you back in one piece? You may be a bitch, but you’re worth as much as a queen! And even if your mother doesn’t pay us, we still have her ship! Her cargo! Regardless, we’ll be living like kings by the week’s end!”
The other sailors cheered.
Skinner held his sword to the rope. “Make your choice! Live or die!”
Kagami drew her own little tanto. “Let the sea decide my fate!”
She slashed the rope above her head before he could have the satisfaction of doing it.
---
pleurer en toi - (T, feluka)
Through closed eyes, he saw lightning.
Through the pounding of his heart and the screaming of his tears, he heard thunder.
But the patter on the roof next to him wasn’t rain.
It was boots.
Argos’s heart raced in panic, but he couldn’t move. Every limb of his body was heavy like lead, and isn’t this what I wanted? For someone to finish the job?
They wouldn’t.
They’re heroes.
I need a villain.
I need Monarch.
I need -
Whoever it was let out a soft grunt as they sat on the rooftop by Argos’s head. Hands grabbed him by his arms and moved him.
“C’mere, baby bird… Up you go…”

TALES OF THE RAYS: MIRRAGE PRISON
Tumblr media
CHAPTER 5: THE DARK WOLF THAT SMOLDERS (PART 2)
(Part 1) | (Part 3+4)
Hello, and welcome back to the next part of this chapter! This one discusses exactly what the Empire is doing that’s so heinous and introduces us to one of my favorite characters from this game: Mercuria (she doesn’t appear in this part, but she’s mentioned)
Let us begin.
...
Tumblr media
Jade: Well, let's resume our meeting.
Karia: Yes, sir... It's a continuation of the story. This is exposition is too difficult for me. It would be nice to be able to poof away or skip.
Kyle: Poof away? Skip?
Klarth: It gets even more serious from here. —Chester, I know this is hard for you, but tell us what you know.
Chester: Oh...You're talking about the Living Doll Project.
Chester: …It was Princess Mercuria, the only survivor of the Bifrost royal family, who initiated the project in the first place.
Mileena: ……….
Leon: Bifrost perished after losing to Selund in the Mirrage War, right?
Mileena: Yes... According to Gefion's memory, the Kaleidoscope helped the Selund win the war and Bifrost was conquered.
Chester: From what I've heard, Mercuria was brought to Selund as a hostage at the end of the war.
Chester: Demetrius was raising her. He became her surrogate parent.
Mileena: …Demetrius did that?
Chester: That’s what Mercuria said. The Salvation Army met Mercuria through Phantom.
Chester: At first they didn't know she was a Bifrost survivor, so they assumed she was the daughter of an anti-Gefionist nobleman.
Chester: Before we knew it, she had taken up with the Salvation Army.
Chester: The reason I was able to infiltrate the castle during the Mirrorshift was because of help from the Mercuria Faction.
Chester: At that stage, Mercuria looked like she was trying to cut off Phantom and join forces with Phillip.
Tumblr media
Raine: Let me get this straight. Mercuria approached the Salvation Army as an associate of Phantom.
Raine: Then, for whatever reason, she decided to cut off Phantom, took control of the Salvation Army, and became involved in the 'Phantom Sealing Project.’
Chester: Yeah. After that, Mercuria and her guardian, Demetrius, started talking about bringing back the Empire and reviving the Bifrost.
Chester: They wanted to take members of the Salvation Army to use as Mercuria’s personal force.
Chester: That's when Philip and Mark fell out with the Empire. I guess after they left the empire, they started hanging out with Zelos and the others.
Chester: Alvin probably knows more about that than I do, but it sounds like he's talking to Senel right now.
Jude: Is it because of the Living Doll Project that Phillip and the others fell out with the Empire?
Chester: I don't know... Maybe so, or maybe for some other reason.
Chester: Either way, what we do know is that the Living Doll is a way for the—
Chester: All we know is that the Living Doll is a terrible thing, putting the soul of one person into the body of another. I have no idea why anyone would want to do such a thing...
Raine: …Thank you, Chester. That must have been difficult. I don't need to hear it anymore. Just be there for Ami.
Chester: …Yeah. I'm sorry I couldn’t be more help.
Jade: Ami is sedated and sleeping. She's stable now, but we haven't found a way to fix her yet.
Julius: To sum it up, we have three major problems.
Julius: One is rescuing of Ix, who is having an Overray Outburst. This is compounded by the problem of the Sandstorm of Death.
Julius: The second is the Living Doll Project. We need to find out why Princess Mercuria is doing this.
Julius: Of course, we'll have to find a cure for Ami as well.
Julius: Third, the Asgard Empire itself. They’re after Mileena and Ludgar, and they’ve captured Luka, Illia, and many others.
Julius: There is no doubt that they are trying to exploit the otherworldly anima of the nexuses.
Jade: So we, too, will try to solve the problem by dispersing our forces. —Guy, explain.
Tumblr media
Guy: Did you ask me to come up here with you just so you could say that...? I guess it can't be helped...
Guy: First of all, we’ve decided to set up a dedicated department for gathering information. I'd like to ask Rose and Karol here to help us out.
Rose: Are you joining too!?
Karol: Eh, me too!?
Guy: I’m not, but Karol is going to take the lead on this. Karol’s going to be the chief of the Karol Investigation Division.
Karol: Chief!? Me!?
Guy: That’s what Professor Raine suggested. We all have to live up to her expectations.
Karol: …Heh…heheh. Well, well, if you say so, I have no choice but to accept it.
Rose: Hmmm, hmmm, that's good, isn't it? Raine decided, right? I think it's a good choice.
Rose: So the members so far are me, Dezel, and the members of Brave Vesperia?
Raine: I'm glad you're so quick to guess. I think you guys would be better suited to a guerilla type of force.
Jade: I'd like Chief Karol to gather all of our most eccentric people there and collect information.
Jade: Please fill in the necessary personnel accordingly. I’ll leave the selection to you.
Karol: That's a lot of responsibility... But leave it to me.
Julius: Keele Labs will gather knowledge from other worlds to build the means and organize the steps necessary to rescue Ix.
Julius: Those who can fight will proceed with the search and rescue of the stray nexuses.
Julius: However, Mileena, Ruca, Illia, Ludger, and Elle—
Klarth: You too, Julius.
Julius: —And me, too. Anyway, these people should avoid acting alone.
Raine: That's all for now. Thanks for your help, you all.
Mileena: Oh, um, do you have a minute?
Raine: Mileena, what's wrong?
Mileena: I need to have a quick word with you later. Also with...Jade. It's about...General Nazar.
Raine: …I see. Come to the strategy meeting room later.

Yandere Golden Boys
a/n: im finally making yandere oc’s after scrolling through the tag for HOURS. I have been wanting to do this for a while but after seeing all the amazing oc’s im making them myself
Yandere Golden Boys! who have known each other since they were kids. They’re no stranger to sharing so why would a partner be any different?
Tumblr media
The persistent flirt, Luka, who always gets what he wants. When he sets his eyes on something and wants it, hes going to get it. His curly blonde hair and deep blue eyes add to the charm. He's known for sleeping around and using women like tissues.
The friendly jock, Mae , who never fails to put a smile on someone's face. Constantly smiling, the chestnut haired boy is always helping people out. Star student, perfect attendance, and great football player. Everyone loves him.
The prick of a student council president, Eden, is always making people’s day worse. He has a grudge against anyone that doesn’t doesn't follow the rules, including teachers. Due to his high standing he has the power to makes someone's life miserable and trust me he will
All three boys just seem to always be together which is how they met you. You were at the mall alone. It was a rare occurance to be out alone but you only needed a couple things. You too were busy putting your wallet back in your bag, You didn't notice you were going to walk right into a group of boys. Hitting your head on one of their backs you groan slightly and rub your head before looking up at who you bumped into. It was a talk man, probably 6’5. He smiled down at you in concern “Are you okay?” he asks. He can barely get the words out though as his heart hammers in his chest. You looked adorable looking up at him with your doe eyes and crinckled nose! A blonde boy peeked over the other boy's shoulder and smirked seeing you. You gave him a polite smile as you went to pick up your discarded bag. The blond beat you to it though, quickly picking up the bag before you. He handed it to you with a wink. A boy with combed black hair watched the scene in interest. You seemed polite and mae seemed to already have taken a liking to you.
The Three boys introduced themselves to you as Luka, Mae and Eden. After you told them your name they watched as Mae took out his phone and was already searching your name on instagram.
As College Sophomores the boys don't need to live in the dorms so they opt to share an apartment. The three boys spend all night stalking your socials, learning about your likes, dislikes, who you are close to and who they need to look out for. These three will find a way to worm into your life. You'll suddenly see them everywhere. Soon you exchange phone numbers and start to hang out casually. Casually will turn into every week and every week will turn into every day.
Mae is like a puppy when he's with you. He's kind to everyone, yes but he worships you. You're his everything and he will do everything to make sure you know it.
Luka is still flirty but he means what he says. When he calls you beautiful and holds your hand he means it. He teases you whenever you get flustered but he thinks its the most adorable thing ever
Eden is softer for you. He's not great at verbal affection like the other two so he tends to be more physical, Possessive hugs and hand holding, desperate and obsessive kisses ect. He loves to see you cry though. It doesn’t have to be out of pain, he doesn't necessarily like to see you in pain but he thinks your tear stricken cheeks and soft whimpers are adorable. God forbid anyone else makes you cry though. He is not afraid to get his hands dirty.

Recruitment
The fans felt that summer 2022 recruitment was disappointing:
• Fans questioned what they saw as a lack of structure to the squad, with a lack of a right wing-back (RWB) and an additional striker, when the manager plays a certain system. CH outlined that summer recruitment was not just about players “in” but also about an overhang of players in a squad after a change in manager and the need to get players “out” to free up places and budget.
• Peter Ridsdale (PR) then outlined the club’s recruitment process in the summer, stating he feels the squad is as balanced as it has been for a long time following the summer window.
• PR revealed that the first player the club was due to sign in the summer was a RWB and that the deal was done but he failed his medical.
• PR explained the process in identifying targets within the budget and that the manager Ryan Lowe ultimately decides which players are signed within the parameters set.
• PR explained the use of the company MRKT Insights and their role in identifying players. They provide a list of available players within prescribed parameters for Ryan and the club to look at.
• A supporter said, in response, that they didn’t see the situation explained above in the same light. A RWB should have been brought in and the failure to do so was a poor reflection on the current recruitment set up.
• PR admitted that it is difficult for the manager to get the balance between creating excitement and enthusiasm for fans wanting new players by publicly stating that he wanted a striker and a right wingback, but he knew what the budget was from day one and whether we could get all the targets we wanted. Ryan was happy with the cover he had at RWB.
• PR reiterated that it is ultimately down to the manager to put the squad together and that every player signed in the summer was Ryan’s first choice in that position.
• PR highlighted Ben Woodburn as an example of taking an opportunity in the summer as Ryan wanted him and we got him in early.
• PR explained that there is a balance to be had when bringing players in on loan compared to bringing in permanent players with regards to accepting the terms of their loans and any penalties that may apply.
• PR revealed there were financial penalties with players such as Sepp van den Berg and Lukas Nmecha during their times with the club but we are clear with the manager that his team selection should be on merit only.
• PR stated it was a big summer for the club as the squad had become bloated.16 players left the club and Ryan and the club are satisfied with the recruitment undertaken. Ryan was clear he didn’t want a big squad but he still has options in all positions.
• When asked if the manager had been told something different at the start of the window to the end of the window as that is how it may have looked publicly, both PR and CH stated that was not the case and that the manager was aware of the budget from before the transfer window and that the budget never changed.
2
• CH explained that the budget was set well in advance of the summer transfer window and it was up to the manager how it was spent. So, while eight players may have been the manager’s ideal, circumstances change and some prices go up, some go down, and then it may be that with the money spent you can only afford six of those, not all eight, or some of your targets just aren’t available. CH explained that it doesn’t mean that anybody lied, or anyone misled or did anything wrong, just that circumstances changed throughout the transfer window which is often the case.
• CH stated that the club were hoping to free up space in the budget through some players leaving the club but that did not materialise as the club had hoped in some cases. • When questioned about the contracts given to those players the club wished to move on,
CH explained that contracts are only given to players when the manager wishes them to
have a new contract.
• CH referred specifically to speculation about his late father Mr Trevor Hemmings
deciding on who to give contracts to and who to sign, with CH stating that was not true and this only happened on one occasion, which was done with the best intentions at the time and did not happen again.
• CH expanded on the recruitment process stating that players had to be the right character to sign for the club and that both Ryan and the club wanted a right wing-back and another striker but the right one could not be found within the parameters.
• PR then followed up stating that the budget set is the budget and that you can never predict the dynamics of a transfer window and circumstances change.
• PR explained that a bid came in for Emil Riis. The manager was asked if he could find a suitable replacement with the money available if the club were to accept, Ryan requested that Emil stayed and he did.
• PR stated that had other players gone out on loan it would have freed up money in the budget but that did not materialise as the club had hoped.
• PR stated that he felt the club has the least overhang of players for a long time and reiterated the message that if you get three out of five right in the transfer window then you are doing well because there are lots of different facets as to whether a player works or not.
• PR stated that it is not just transfer fees that can be an issue but it is often the wage demand of players as the squad has a wage structure which works and, apart from a couple of exceptions, all players are in a very similar pay range.
• PR explained that one player who did become available should Emil Riis have left the club was on three times the wages that most players were on and that would have been unacceptable to have in the squad.
• When questioned on Ryan Lowe’s comments in the media about being given the license to sign two more players, PR stated that he and Ryan spoke every day to go over the targets and the budget throughout the window. That yes, he would have liked two more players. But that the budget didn’t change.
• PR explained that a number of factors played a part in whether more headroom would be freed up as the window went on. This included whether Josh Earl or Tom Bayliss would
3
still be at the football club or could be moved on and at what cost. This also included Josh Harrop leaving the club. Josh didn’t leave the club until the day before the deadline and PR stated that it didn’t happen cheaply.
• When questioned whether the manager at the time wanted to give Josh Harrop a three- year contract as he didn’t play in the team, PR reiterated that the manager asked for it and the club supported the manager in his decision. CH added that the club did back the manager as he wanted the contract for that player extended.
• PR admitted that there are some players he himself may not have signed if it was down to him during his time at the club, such as a recent purchase for over £1.5million wanted by the manager, who the manager chose not to play. PR said he highlighted this as an example to show the club don’t pick the signings or the team.
• A question was asked about the role of MRKT Insights and what would be different in future windows in terms of finding the right players. PR stated that they present who is potentially available and the manager then narrows that down by a number of factors.
• Supporters interjected that they were therefore confused as to why a player, such as a RWB, was not brought in to fit the managers playing style.
• PR stated that Ryan used much of his budget up very quickly as the club moved fast to get the players that he wanted. PR reiterated that Ryan was comfortable with options at RWB.
• A supporter then raised the question that a lot of the signings have been done on short- term deals with a number of players able to leave for free in the summer and asked where the long-term planning is. In response, a discussion was had regarding which players who are out of contract fans would like to see sign a new deal. After some debate, CH summed up that he believed it is in reality a small number of players that fans are concerned about and that, in his view, there was no reason for panic and that positive conversations are ongoing regarding those players the club and the manager wish to keep.
• CH also pointed out that the manager had already publicly stated that he wouldn’t be looking at new contracts until the World Cup break.
• PR added that he felt the club was in the best position it has been for years regarding planning and lengths of contracts going into the summer. PR stated that he believed this coming summer wasn’t a problem, instead it is an opportunity.
• A supporter raised the question that they felt there was no coherent strategy with regards to recruitment and felt the communications in the summer were that it would be a big rebuild and have since said it could take three to four windows. CH responded by pointing out that there was no intention to not get the players the club wanted, you only know whether you’ve achieved everything, when you look back at the end of the window.
• The question was then asked about who the club’s saleable assets are, one supporter believing we haven’t built a squad of value, with the supporter listing three first team players ’names [names intentionally not included] as the only players with sell on value. Another question followed regarding the long-term plan of recruitment to make a profit in the future and make the club more sustainable
4
• PR stated that the club had sold players for substantial sums since he has been at the club and the cost of the current squad in transfer fees paid combined is less than the amount the club were offered for Emil Riis. PR reiterated that he feels there is value in the squad.
• A supporter interjected that while that might have been the case from recruitment made in 2013 - 2015, in recent years that doesn’t seem to be the case at all.
• PR disagreed with this comment. He highlighted the success in the transfer market since 2015.
• CH confirmed part of the strategy is to find and develop young players that have value and as a club, feels it’s important that every few seasons you are able to sell on a player to create financial headroom.
• CH referred to the impact of Covid with the contracts of Ben Davies and Ben Pearson. Stating that Covid made it difficult as there were no offers from anyone to sell them and both players were refusing to sign a new contract no matter what was offered.
• CH admitted that the club were unable to capitalise at the right time due to the circumstances. PR revealed the club were open to selling both players after they made it clear they wouldn’t sign new contracts.
• When asked if there were any plans to hold negotiations with the current players who only have 18 months left on their contracts, PR stated that the manager is not yet definitely saying which of those players he would want to extend. PR stated that the manager is not in favour of longer term contracts as he feels it makes players too comfortable and circumstances can change.
• PR stated that the debate over shorter deals is interesting as if the club spent a large fee on a transfer you would want to offer them a longer contract to lock in their value while the manager wants to keep players hungry, so it’s about finding a balance.
• PR confirmed that there are players they wish to offer contracts to and that the indications to date are that those players will sign at the salary which the club feel fits in.
• When asked about the transfer strategy when Simon Grayson was manager and what has changed since, CH confirmed the transfer strategy hasn’t changed while acknowledging that certain elements and circumstances have changed in that time period. CH stated that it’s a balance between what the manager wants and what he as an owner feels is right for the club for the future.
• PR explained that the market is very different now, than just a few years ago, in terms of expectations from Premier League clubs for young talent whether it be on loan or permanent and that the fees and salary demands are much higher and the distance between the Championship and Premier League finances is out of hand.
• PR revealed that the club spoke to Aston Villa regularly during the summer in the hope that Cameron Archer might become available and the club were working throughout the window on how to fund that should he have become available.
• PR stated that the club are competing with clubs who have four times the wage bill of PNE and that the Championship is harder than ever due to spending of other clubs. PR stated that despite that, the ambition of the club is to put a squad together to get at least in the Play-Offs with Premier League football always the goal.
5
Season Card Campaign
Some supporters felt that the ‘Play Your Part ’campaign was misleading and that the club’s ambitions haven’t matched the promise:
• CH thanked supporters for their part in supporting the campaign and stated that he and the club didn’t know just how well it would go. CH also stated that, despite some 12,000 seasons tickets being sold, the club actually only made fractionally more, despite increased sales, due to the discount. It is a misconception that the club made much more from the campaign.
• CH also acknowledged that Ryan Lowe was enthusiastic and excited for the new season, as he should be. This may have helped build up fans ’expectations but that is what we would hope Ryan would do, but equally he said he understands where fans ’frustrations may come from.
Academy
Fans stated that they want to see more investment into the academy and that some feel the current academy is holding the club back.
• CH stated that the Category 3 Academy that the club currently runs costs the club £1.2million per year to run and that to move to Category 2, the operating costs would increase to around £2million per year. PR added that to achieve Category 2 status you need an indoor football facility which would cost between £4.5million to £5million to build. PR stated that it is unlikely to be regularly used by the academy or first team squad.
• The club were asked if the indoor facility at Tulketh High School could be used instead to fulfil that criteria. PR confirmed that it does not meet the standards and had already been looked at.
• PR praised the work of the Academy staff and stated that there are few clubs at Premier League or Championship level who regularly have players in their first team that have come through their Academy and then gone on to generate money.
• A supporter mentioned that Blackburn Rovers had several home-grown players that had been developed by themselves who are now established first team players, which they felt was was in contrast to PNE. The question was asked about what the plan was to improve the team if you can’t invest to improve the academy.
• A debate followed regarding the relative success or otherwise of the club’s Academy compared to others. PR highlighted the six Academy players making their first team debuts in the past 12 months.
• PR stated that regardless of the category of the Academy, that he believes the club are picking up the best football talent in Preston but, we will always risk the bigger Premier League clubs coming to take them at the age of 13 or 14. PR stated that under the Academy system, clubs can take them on a fixed price so there is little to stop them.
• The question was raised regarding an Academy player who the club lost to Blackburn Rovers. PR confirmed that player was never offered a contract by the club and that while the club wished to offer him one, the manager at the time did not agree.
6
• PR stated that some clubs who don’t have an Academy can pick up the best players aged 16 who are released from Premier League clubs and spend the Academy money on the first team instead. PR reiterated that it’s a balancing act and once again praised the work of the Academy staff.
• CH questioned where the funds would come from to increase the yearly cost of the Academy and the £5million investment to just get to Category 2. CH explained that the money would have to come from somewhere else within the club’s budget.
• Supporters once again asked, if the investment wasn’t to be made in the Academy and the budget was limited for Championship level, how can the club improve long-term without the Hemmings family having to invest large sums of money to meet running costs.
• CH stated that the club’s strategy is to develop its own players and bring them through to the first team. CH stated it’s a difficult decision to decide where the funds come from to start the process of getting to Category 2 and improve the club’s chances of achieving that objective, especially when the majority of fans want the club to focus investment on the first team.
• CH explained that it would not be an instant change but there are a series of steps in place to get there and it is part of a longer term strategy.
• CH acknowledged that the club does not get a return on all of the £1.2million the club invests in to the Academy each year but felt that many clubs don’t but that there is a desire to bring young players through despite that.
• CH stated that his hope is that bringing young players through will help sustain the club in the long term and it’s a long-term plan.
• CH added that PR is in discussion with the EFL regarding the requirements for Category 2 Academy status as the club satisfies all other criteria other than the indoor facility.
• When questioned about the development of the U19s, PR referred to how Premier League clubs loan out their younger players to get experience. PR believes U21s football isn’t as beneficial as loaning out players in his opinion.
• PR stated that it’s harder for Championship clubs to get their Academy players out on loan to other EFL clubs but stated that was part of the reason behind James Beet’s new role to help younger players get those moves.
• Supporters disagreed with the statement that U23 football is not beneficial and stated that they feel the current structure is not producing young players ready for first team football. They added that just four Central League games have been played and it’s clear that EFL clubs are reluctant to take Category 3 players from ourselves, when they can develop their own.
• PR outlined the six Academy players now getting valuable loan experience.
• PR stated that managers in the lower leagues want proven quality players as there is
pressure for instant success and aren’t often happy to take a chance on young, unproven players.
7
Long-Term Plan And Recent Changes
Who sets the budget and why don’t the club seek other investors:
• The question was raised about external investment should be looked at to increase the budget for the January transfer window as supporters feel the Championship is wide open this season. PR highlighted that it could breach FFP and highlighted the quality he felt was brought into the squad in the summer.
• PR stated that there are changes in football and the parameters that are set since the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Blackpool were promoted to the Premier League. PR explained that even if someone wanted to invest £10million into the club tomorrow, the club could not spend it under the rules as you can’t put that cash in as equity but stated that he understood fans ’frustrations.
• CH stated that he understood fans ’frustrations and reiterated that it is not possible to just get outside investment within the rules. Firstly there isn’t anyone around to do that and secondly the club isn’t allowed to. CH explained that there is a maximum you can lose as a club over three years and that money the club loses each year puts us close to that ceiling.
• On the club’s overall strategy, PR explained the club’s progress over the last ten years and that the club always aims to be higher in the Championship and that ultimately the goal is to be in the Premier League. PR stated that the best way to do that is to target all discretionary money on the first team to build a team for promotion, because then the Premier League cash would help provide funds to build the infrastructure in other areas.
• A supporter said that this statement contrasted with the statements around developing the academy and infrastructure.
• When asked why the club hadn’t mentioned the budgets often before, CH highlighted that supporters had now asked more questions following the passing of Mr Trevor Hemmings, as they want clarity on who runs the club and decides how much is spent.
• PR explained that the main difference now is that Mr Trevor Hemmings would state how much money he was prepared to put into the club and would sometimes decide how much of that was spent on what aspects of the club. Whereas under CH, there is an agreed budget and the people who run the club day to day manage that budget. This works better as planning is easier in advance.
PR reiterated that there has always been a set budget to work within.
• The question was raised of funds looking as though they became available late in transfer
windows if Mr Trevor Hemmings wished to sign a player. CH and PR explained that the
funds still came out of the club’s overall budget, which was always fixed in advance.
• CH stated that the amount of money the club needed to earn each season to mitigate
the money put in by the owners can only really be achieved through selling a player for
£8million to £10million, which currently won’t happen every year.
• CH stated that that situation clearly changes if you get into the Premier League and
therefore things supporters would like to see like investment into the squad, the
Academy, the stadium and other aspects would all happen as the funds would be there. • CH reiterated that there is a strategy to get there but it can’t happen overnight and there
is an aligned strategy to get there.
8
Commercial, Catering And Other Income
The club needs to earn more income to mitigate the shortfall funded by the owner:
• CH acknowledged that the commercial income is currently not enough but that the numbers involved would not be significant enough to materially affect the playing budget.
• When the question was raised regarding increasing commercial and other income, CH agreed it would help but the big numbers come with player trading etc.
• PR outlined that the club moved away from betting sponsors as it isn’t good for brand image and meant that young fans can now wear the same shirts. PR stated that the club’s deal with PAR Group is one of the few independent companies who are paying the same as the club were getting out of the betting deals. PR feels the deal with PAR Group is as good as it gets in the market that’s not a related party to the club.
• PR admitted that commercial was an area where the club felt frustrated and could do better in. • PR explained that the club are always trying to increase income streams but stated that even if some areas, such as catering, were increased, the net profit achieved to spend on players would be in the margin compared to player sales or TV deals as an example.
• PR stated that there will be a new TV deal from 2024 and the early signs show that TV income could substantially increase the money the club gets from the EFL.
• On catering, PR outlined that the current caterers have a contract that expires at the end of the current season and the club share the fans ’frustration and that the club are in regular dialogue with the caterers to improve. He reiterated that they have a contract until June.
• PR stated that the club have taken the opportunity to look at other options in the external market as the club don’t feel the current standards are acceptable for where the club wishes them to be.
• PR stated that the space where the gym used to be at the stadium is currently vacant and the club are currently in negotiations with one party which may lead to them taking the space.
9
Redistribution
Does the club believe that Premier League redistribution is the way to solve any financial shortfall?
Will any new monies just go to players?:
• PR explained that, should there be an agreement to redistribute Premier League monies, it will come with controls and that the Premier League money will only be redistributed if new financial fair play rules are implemented. PR stated that the Premier League will aim to implement a maximum wage to turnover ratio in every Championship club should the redistribution happen and the redistribution will be to every club and the amount will depend on finishing position in the league.
• PR stated that the club currently receives £3.1million from the EFL and £4.8million from the Premier League each year, the same as every club in the Championship other than those with parachute payments who get more.
• PR explained that the proposal would be that from the top of the Premier League down to the bottom of the Championship, they would redistribute the money based on position. For example, if the club finished 8th this season, the club could end up with an additional £XXmillion [NB: figs intentionally excluded]. The club wouldn’t be able to spend more than a certain percentage of its turnover, with the turnover including that extra money.
• PR outlined that there was no incentive for the teams in the bottom three of the Premier League to agree, but that 14 clubs had already agreed to it recently. PR stated that there is enough interest from teams in the Premier League and that you need 18 clubs in the Championship to agree to it.
• PR stated that there is an acceptance that change is needed for good of English football but there is an agreement there will need to be way to control wages.
• PR stated that any changes made will make it easier rather than harder for PNE to compete in the future.
• Supporters pointed out that some clubs don’t play by the rules and find loopholes which PR accepted but stated that an independent financial unit within the EFL will monitor. Supporters also stated that they do not share the same enthusiasm that this redistribution will happen and solve the clubs financial problems. Hence, the desire to grow the income streams from areas the supporters have mentioned.
• PR explained that redistribution of money from the Premier League is a priority of both Government and the EFL and that the Tracey Crouch Fan-Led Review has cross party support.
• Clubs have to submit real-time financial information to the EFL twice a year so they know who is going to breach it and implement the penalties.
10
Training Facilities and Ingol
Many fans feel used and lied to about the Ingol training complex promised:
• CH raised the topic of Ingol and the proposed training facility. CH stated he was aware of all the unhappiness and rhetoric over Ingol. He said he hoped to clear up some misinformation out there – that fans feel Euxton isn’t up to Premier League standards. He stated that the club have had the current training ground at Euxton costed and to build it as it is now but new, it would have cost the club at least £15million.
• CH stated that the club spent £2million on the purchase of the Euxton training complex and substantial additional funds have been invested subsequently to improve it, which he believed was very good business.
• Supporters present acknowledged that the current facilities are far superior to those at Springfields where the first team used to train.
• Moving on to Ingol specifically, CH thanked supporters for their part in getting approval, and stated that it would not have happened without their support and that his frustrations are that housing was turned down by the council in the first place.
• CH stated that the club did have every intention of building the £12million training complex and that perhaps fans didn’t know that after gaining planning it took another year for the local authority to sign it off. This took the club to the end of 2018.
• CH stated that in 2020 the current training ground came on the market and the club bought it.
• CH reiterated that from the beginning the intention was always that the houses would be built first to fund the development of the training facility and that the housing development at Ingol is still not finished.
• CH revealed that £3.5million had been paid to the local authority for allowing work to happen and raised the point in the supporters ’letter regarding the parkland on the site. CH confirmed that the parkland is opened as promised and there is 50 acres of parkland with pathways, seats and ponds and was done first and paid for.
• CH stated that no profit has been made from the site yet, but there will be once the houses are fully built, hopefully in the region of the amount the club were going to spend on the training complex. CH outlined that the family has spent five or six times that amount on the club since planning was granted.
• CH reiterated that there was always an intention to build it and that he understands supporters ’frustrations but circumstances, not intentions, changed.
• PR stated that the land at Ingol is in the club’s ownership and the club are therefore determining what to do with that land and it currently has planning consent for leisure. PR stated that the club met the council a week ago to discuss what the plans are and that the land is an asset for the club.
• When asked for reassurance about what will be built on the area of land set aside for the training complex, PR questioned that if supporters had a choice between keeping hold of the land, or selling it on and raising some funds for one or two strikers, what would their choice be.
• PR stated that at the time that Euxton became available, it made sense to buy that instead as it could still be years down the line before the housing was finished to fund the
11
facility at Ingol and costs may have increased in that time too. So the club took the
opportunity that arose.
• PR stated that the club previously bid for the facility at Euxton before the site at Ingol
was discussed but the club were outbid by Wigan Athletic. So, the club looked at Ingol,
the club did not know that Euxton would become available again.
• CH stated that nobody was lied to about the plans for Ingol, the circumstances simply
changed and an opportunity came up. CH once again thanked the fans for rallying
behind the club getting planning.
• CH highlighted that the funds that would have gone on developing the training ground
have already gone in to the club over the years. Unfortunately it’s just not something supporters can physically see. He reiterated that they have not yet received any profit back from the Ingol investment and have spent a further £3.5million, as part of the planning conditions, to the council for the 50 acres of parkland.
• When asked if the land would be sold as part of the club if the club was to be sold, CH stated that it would be the choice of anybody who is buying. CH stated that the land is owned by the club, but it would not be a deal breaker if a buyer didn’t want it including in the sale, but that it could also been seen as an asset to a buyer.
• CH referenced some inaccurate rumours that a potential deal to buy the club was hampered by the inclusion of the above mentioned asset. While CH would not be drawn on any names, he stated that at no point was anything a deal breaker other than that individual trying to drop the price and consequently demonstrating to us that they didn’t have the money to buy and run the club. They were consequently sent on their way by the club.
• PR added that Ingol has always been shown as a club asset and to date nobody has said they would only buy without or that they don’t want it.
Fan Zone
Where is the club with the long promised more permanent fan zone?
• KA outlined the latest update on the fan zone development. KA stated it is still ongoing and that it has been costed in a few different locations and forecasts show it doesn’t make any money so the club are looking at the best options for everybody and that is still ongoing.
• PR suggested there might be a new opportunity that may would work more easily and more quickly that the club are working on. PR stated that the club had suggested the corner of the Town End but the club continue to look at other options within the stadium.
• KA outlined that in the Town End location, all of the budget was going on things such as fire protection and flooring that supporters wouldn’t see and it was getting out of hand so the club are looking to find a location that wouldn’t require that initial work.
• PR stated that the club had a meeting earlier in the week to discuss a solution they feel works better and reiterates that the club is committed to delivering a permanent fan zone as quickly as possible. CH agreed that the club do want to do it and are committed in doing so.
12
• Supporters expressed their disappointment at this situation and delay, stating they didn’t feel it was acceptable for a Championship club looking to offer its fans first class facilities. A supporter pointed out that Fleetwood Town and Accrington Stanley have better stadium Fanzone/Supporter Bar than the club and surely the club can do much better.
• PR/KA reiterated that the club were exploring options but reminded fans all options do have a financial implication to the club.
Other Business
The club doesn’t operate with a CEO/director of football. The stadium doesn’t look finished etc:
• When asked about certain roles within the club, CH stated that just because there is nobody with the title of Director of Football or CEO, it doesn’t mean that the responsibility of those roles aren’t being fulfilled by those at the club. They are.
• Supporters raised the question of whether more senior executives are needed as PR has a lot of responsibility. PR explained that the senior management team meet regularly and are left to manage their teams. With regards to recruitment, PR states that James Wallace was appointed as chief scout and works with MRKT Insights and the manager.
• PR highlighted that the club had recently received 91% in a health and safety audit and had been praised as one of the best in the EFL, PR highlighted this to show the work that goes on behind the scenes that supporters don’t always see.
• On maintenance budgets for Deepdale, CH stated that there are maintenance budgets within the overall budget. CH stated that the club are in discussions regarding the Town End roof and getting it costed. CH added that there have been ongoing repairs but it clearly hasn’t worked and the club are looking at other options, such as full replacement.
• On the void above the Invincibles Pavilion, CH stated that the area would be used for more corporate areas and executive boxes should the club get to the Premier League but there isn’t currently the demand. CH acknowledged that it doesn’t look good and there is now a solution that the club are currently looking at and that the club hope to have this in place over the coming months.
Summary
• CH thanked supporters for their time and reiterated that it was intended to be an honest and open debate, that not everyone would agree with everything said, but that he hoped those present felt it worthwhile.
• When asked CH highlighted and confirmed that these meetings are just one aspect of fan engagement.

The Return of the Premier Chaotique
Marinette was only eight years old when her primary school life changed for the better.
On that fateful day, in Mlle. Gilbertine’s classroom was the introduction of a new transfer student. He introduced himself as Damian; there was no last name. And if there was one, Gilbertine made sure she didn’t say a word of it.
To Marinette, Nino, Chloe, Nathaniel, and Kim, he was an odd boy. Someone that would fit right into their group after a push, as Damian stressed for no social interactions with anyone.
During the early weeks of his stay, Marinette had caught him several times engaging in lonesome activities, whether they were in the classroom or out in the field messing around. Marinette, being the outgoing child that she was, began to plot.
Created from that plotting period was her life’s mission to befriend the emotionless kid.
It was hard at first.
She and the others tried tricking the young man into hopscotch matches, and when that didn’t work, it was a game of red light, green light. Occasionally, Nino and Kim would challenge Damian to dance battles.
Damian was very much against the childish games claiming that they were beneath him, but humored them into defeat.
That was until Marinette decided on a shooting game with water guns and makeshift go-carts out of bike parts. Damian’s eyes lit up with excitement, and Marinette knew right then and there that she finally fulled her goal.
After being soaked from head to toe and laughing amongst friends, Marinette and the others swore Damian into their friend group, thus changing their lives forever.
Soon newer and crazier games began to take over the classroom of Mlle. Gilbertine.
The moment Nino would bring out his portable CD player and the music began to boom out of the speakers, everyone knew what was about to happen.
One day, while the group was in the school’s pool area pretending to be sea monsters attacking each other with kickboards and pool noodles, they were officially dubbed the “Premier Chaotique” cult. As they were youthful and the material they came up with was more chaotic than anything the future Hawkmoth could ever create.
Everyone knew that Marinette and Damian were the leaders. Together they oozed power, as Marinette was their strategist while Damian was the chief.
Chloe was their lawyer and location scout. The blonde knew what areas had cameras and heavy guarding. Kim was their chaotic developer. He knew what methods were more chaotic than the rest. Kim never failed to disappoint. Nino was their sound design and videographer in some cases. His love for filmmaking and DJing started here and continues to grow. Nathaniel was the tagger as he made sure every graffiti they did was perfect.
Nothing could ruin these kids.
Mlle. Gilbertine, bless her soul, was determined to get the Premier Chaotique cult under control, but they were slick and made plans at random. She remembers the day when empty ice cream cups filled her classroom. Every desk was covered, and nothing could explain the appearance of snow sleds in the class.
It was no rumor that the mini cult managed to create their own little snow resort using ice cream and shave ice. It was a pain to clean up.
Marinette remembers the days when the mini cult would paint the city red with flowers and chaotic goodness. Or turning the entire city into a roller skate derby.
It’s a miracle that the cops never brought their parents into the investigation. Then again, with a child as pure as Marinette in the lead, people would fall over when they saw her smile.
Their significant achievement was when the school’s kitchen managed to catch on fire during a lunch period. During the evacuation, the group somehow managed to slip through the adults and back into the cafeteria.
Kim had brought marshmallows that day.
When the firefighters entered to put out the flames, the six children greeted them with wooden sticks eating s’mores and telling scary stories.
That fire had been their last valuable success because they experienced the worst nightmare a couple of days later, Damian had to go back to his home country.
It was heartbreaking for everyone within the cult but groundbreaking for the city.
Marinette fell into depression along with the others. After a month without Damian, they vowed to never speak of the best year of their life unless they were ever to meet Damian again.
It was no secret that Marinette had a crush on the foreign boy, so the cult disassembles along with any memories of Damian and the cult.
Years passed since that day.
Chloe took it upon herself to bully Marinette when they had entered college, as those who knew them in their younger days forgot that they were ever friends. Marinette took up fashion designing and making her seem like the perfect student. Nathaniel started working on comics based on their adventures. Nino stayed friends with all but Chloe and continued with his calling in music production. Kim began busying himself with sports, specifically swimming.
Soon the name that used to strike fear in the hearts of the Paris citizens began to fade away into a false memory.
Little did anyone know, the spirit of the Premier Chaotique cult lives on and would ignite in a blaze of fire.
At sixteen, Marinette works her butt off to make their end-of-the-school-year trip a reality.
The trip was not for the approval of her classmate, which has gone stale but for her sanity. Three years of being Ladybug have put a toll on her, and she plans to take advantage of the lack of akuma attacks going on.
When the acceptance letter landed in her hands, her parents swear they saw a boulder lifted off their daughter’s shoulders. She was smiling more and appeared less stressed than she had ever been since finding out the school board decided to move teachers with their students as a handful of teachers left Paris, some even left France altogether.
Her allies (remaining friends) were the first to know about the trip to Gotham, New Jersey, and they cheered happily for her. Lately, someone else has taken the credits for her work.
The day before the trip, Marinette rundown the patrol routes, and emergency protocols with Luka and Kagami, ensuring the safety of Paris if and when Hawkmoth decided to go active while the rest of the team was away.
She then goes on to convincing Kaalki to come with her to Gotham only to be used as an emergency. Marinette was ready to leave Paris and head to Gotham.
Upon entering the streets of Gotham, a cold chill runs down everyone’s spines aside from the former mini cult members. Too Mme. Bustier, the chill was all too familiar, bringing up memories of the kids that terrorized the streets before Hawkmoth. She looks around to see nothing out of place before promptly calling out her students so they would make it to the hotel.
Everyone who felt that chill had every right to be wary.
On the first day, everything seemed fine, but when you leave nearly all the members of Premier Chaotique alone for a moment, well, chaos was sure to happen.
Chloe and Marinette had put aside their differences during the Lila era of the classroom reign. Even after it was over, they managed to remain friends, rekindling the essence of primary friendship. The boys joined in on them not long afterward.
Plans were made but not yet enforced. It did not feel right, and they knew why– it was because they lacked their chief, the one and only Damian.
~☾★☽~
All Marinette wanted was a cup of coffee, but instead, she got something--someone much more pleasing.
Frozen in place, she calls out a single name, “Dames?” The dark-haired male turned around; she couldn’t breathe. Her eyes soften at the sight of her first crush. He hadn’t changed by much, though he was now taller than her.
“Mars?” That nickname sent the French-Asian teen running into the arms of the Ice Prince himself. Instead of pushing her away, he wraps his arms around her.
Time froze in that café for several reasons, but the main one was definitely because they just witnessed Damian Wayne hugging someone willing.
Their embrace ends with them staring into each other’s eyes. It felt surreal. They couldn’t find the words to say, but they didn’t have to.
Life continues in the cafe as Damian leads Marinette away from the flashes of lights. It wasn’t long before Damian’s phone began to blow up with notifications. He turns his phone off and stuffs it back into his pocket.
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, Marinette pulls Damian in closer. Lifting herself onto her tip-toes, she whispers, “The others are here too.” into his ear. She steps away to see what she has unleashed, hoping that nearly a decade away from each other hasn’t altered their relationship.
This time it was Damian who smirks, bringing Marinette closer to him. “Mm, shall be bring Gotham to its knees?”
They share a smirk that ends with an explosion, thus, reigniting the Premier Chaotique cult with a burning passion for mayhem.
They decided to meet that night after hours.
Music blared in the streets of Gotham, seemingly close to the classroom’s hotel near Wayne Enterprise.
The members of Premier Chaotique strut down the middle of the streets in inflatable dinosaur suits dancing to the remixes that played from the boombox on one of the dino’s skateboards (Nino’s).
Jamming to Bats @crazyforbats Did anyone else wake up to music and dancing dinos last night?

By the morning, Twitter was blowing up with various videos and gifs of the events that happened the night before. The only people who weren’t affected by the popularity were the people who were a part of it.
At Wayne Manor, Bruce could already feel a migraine coming as his two oldest play the videos repeatedly in the main room.
Damian scoffs at his family members, while Dick complains about why they haven’t thought of that for a family outing. It’s all about class, Dick; it’s all about class.
Alfred, being all-knowing, takes notice of Damian's hidden smirks and recent purchase from his account at a party store. Nothing to worry about in this household. However, Damian asking him about where to find used pocket bikes (mini motorcycles) and wire rope reels was troubling.
The next night began the fears of every Parisian that experienced the reign. Blessed that it wasn't not happening in their city for once.
Per their plan assignments, Chloe and Kim found the buildings necessary for the zip line. Nino was in charge of setting up the equipment with the help of Nathaniel. Damian’s task was to get the bikes and zip line wire. Marinette’s job was to keep the class and others from finding out their plan.
Once everything was ready, the Premier Chaotique entered their playground wearing hooded leotards (or bodysuits) with matching latex masks stretched over their eyes.
Kim went first down the zip line as Damian race down the streets on the bike. Initially, they were going to use the bikes, but the zip line couldn’t hold the weight of the bike and the person on it, so they turned it into a race instead. Of course, they put challenges throughout the route to make it more even.
Their mayhem took a turn for the best when someone had called the cops, causing the for once silent night into a regular night of crime. Instead of stopping, like normal people, the mini cult went on a high-speed race against the GCPD.
Gotham’s Twitter users were having a blast with the events. It was the best and bravest thing to surface since Batman, though some were very vocal with their opposing thoughts.
The GCPD never caught the Premier Chaotique members, and they went on as if nothing happened.
It was during the tour of Wayne Enterprise that the Premier Chaotique members learned Damian’s last name. He was an effing Wayne.
Marinette had asked Damian what his last name was when they were eight, and he replied nonchalantly with something along the lines of not being a Wayne until he was ten. Afterward, they continue hanging out and plotting throughout the tour.
After seeing their younger brother interact with teens his age, Dick specifically begs Bruce to invite the group while the rest stands there in shock. The sight of seeing Damian doing what they thought was impossible needed to go into the history books.
While it was a momentous occasion for Damian’s brothers, it was a reality check for Mme. Bustier. Her screams echo against the halls of WE as buried memories of the chaos awakens.
She stared pointedly at Marinette in denial. There was no way her star student was in the cult that did so much damage all those years ago. When Chloe, Nino, Kim, and quiet Nathaniel joined her, Caline started to feel faint. She immediately excused herself to call her therapist. Her wails for help could reach the lobby.
Bruce unknowingly invited even more chaos into his household that night.
It didn’t take Chloe and Marinette much to convince their teachers to let the five of them stay with Mr. Wayne for the night in hopes of “catching up” with Damian.
After getting the approval from Mr. Wayne and their parents, she agreed, secretly ecstatic that they wouldn’t be in her care for the next several hours.
~☾★☽~
“I’m bored. Let’s play a prank?” Kim randomly shouts, playing catch with himself, when they were all staring out the TV waiting for something good to come on.
“What do you have in mind?” Marinette asks, making her way over to Damian. He pushes her away, knowing that she’ll use him as a throne.
“Hey Dames, do you own go-carts are something of a familiar nature?”
Damian thinks about it for a minute, “Tt, father wouldn’t dare let those things in the house. We can prank my brothers. Scaring them would bring me joy.”
“Well I have a few ideas, we can use.” Chloe states, pulling out the book of mischief from her purse.
They all huddle over the book with smirks on their faces.

Day 3 - Identities
Day1 - Day2 - Day3 - Day4
Marinette had been living with the waynes for over a month now. The reason? Tom and Sabine sent her away to her biological father. Apparently To Dupain was not her biological, but Bruce Wayne was.
Marinette had a sliver of hope, A really, really thin one. Which had faltered by the month.
Marinette had defeated Hawk Moth with Chat Noir. Apparently Plagg found the brooches along with two sleeping kwamis accidentally. At night when Gabriel and Natalie were asleep, He had stolen the miraculous. On the patrol that night, Chat had told her that the miraculous were right under their noses. He gave her the two brooches and told her that Plagg had found the brooches in his father’s study. He told her that Gabriel was Hawk moth and Natalie was Mayura. Then he de-transformed and handed her the ring saying that he wanted to continue his life as a civilian.
Later that week it was announced that Chat noir found out who Hawk Moth was and he had stolen the miraculous at night. He then said that Gabriel and Natalie were the Villians. He then revealed himself saying that he was innocent, and he had no idea that his father was Hawk moth. Marinette had thought that with Hawkmoth gone she could beat Lila, But no, it Backfired. That was the reason she was Shipped off. Like an object. She was replaced just like an object.
Her only wish was to die. But she had tried to do that multiple times. Someone always managed to save her. So no, that option was unavailable. She had thought that she would finally be able to die in Gotham by sucide, But no, Selina, Cassandra or Jason always managed to save her.
By now she had started to see the woman as a mother figure. The Waynes hated her. They didn’t even listen to her side of the story. Only Cass and Jason had seen that there was more to the story. Selina and Alfred too, of course. The waynes saw her with disgust. They laid out certain rules.
And of course she figured out they were Bat family. She may not be from Gotham, but she wasn’t certainly stupid. She had to admit, The Waynes were really good at hiding the Batfam thingy. But what gave them away? Misplaced Batarangs by Tim. Then Tikki had also found the cave. She wasn’t stupid, Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne were good friends and certainly Batman and Superman. The people of Justice league stopped by often at the Manor too.
Speaking of the Justice League, They had given her an offer to join the League, but she declined. They had given her a satellite phone for emergencies to contact the league. They had praised her high and low. Batman was even Concerned for her when he found out her age range. Concerned! If they knew that Ladybug was their new sibling who was claimed to be a bully, she’d be declared a threat and her take Miraculous away.
Her routine was the same. Wake up. Eat breakfast in silence as she was being glared at. Study something. Do commissions while talking to her boyfriend, Luka and the others. Eat Lunch while being glared at. Study the Grimoire with Alfred. Sketch some designs while talking to Selina and Cass. Draw illustrations while Jason talks. Eat dinner in Silence. Stay up till 3 am doing commissions. Sleep.
Last week she had introduced Luka to Cass, Selina, Jason and Alfred. It went really well. Especially when Jason found out he was Jagged Stone’s son.
She was thinking how she could step up her game with the Waynes. In her thoughts she didn’t see Selina coming in.
“What are you thinking about Kitten ?” Selina asks, seeing the half sketched dress.
“Gah! Selina don’t scare me like that! Anyway I was thinking, ``What do I do to annoy the waynes?” Marinette asks the Master of scheming Cat-woman.
“Hmm, what about going to your true self? Being in headphones, ignoring them, Snide answers, and stuff like that?” Selina says thoughtfully.
“Selina, that's brilliant! You’re the best Mom!” Marinette says. She covers her mouth with her hand realizing what she said.
“Aww, Com’ere Kit. I love you.” Selina says softly.
“You’re not mad?” Marinette hesitantly asks.
“Of course not!” She says.
“You’ll be more of a mother than Sabine will ever be to me.” Marinette says with a small voice and hugs the older woman.
Then the Chaos was unleashed. Whenever the Waynes wanted to ask her something she’d ignore them and she always had her headphones on.

“Marinette, tell me why did you hurt the poor girl?” Bruce asks in a stern voice. Of course Mari didn’t hear him because of the blaring music.
“Marinette, Why did you hurt the poor girl?” Bruce asks again, obviously annoyed.
“MARINETTE-” He was cut off from Alfred of course.
“If I may Master Bruce,” he says, earning a nod. He gently taps the girl’s shoulder. Marinette moves her hair away and removes her Airpod. The music is loud enough for everybody to hear.Meanwhile Bruce flushes in embarrassment. “Miss, Your father wants to ask you something.” Marinette nods. She turns to her Father.
“What?” She asks.
“I asked, Why did you hurt the poor girl marinette, around two months ago?” He asks, patience bearing thin.
“Oh? I didn’t know that I could make a clone of myself and Send one to the fencing class and the other to beat her up at the Seine?” She says in a bored tone. Jason and Cass, not being able to hold their laughter any longer, burst out laughing.
Later that night they checked her attendance, sure enough she was in the fencing class.

One day Marinette got a call from the Justice league, Stating an emergency. She quickly transformed to Ladybug and Portalled to the Watchtower.
“Ladybug, welcome to the Watchtower,” Wonder Woman welcomed, standing at the head of a group of heroes. Interestingly enough, Batman and all of his brood were among them. Nightwing, Red Robin, Black Bat, and Robin and the others.
“Wonder Woman,” she greeted back. “What’s the problem?”
“Your former partner has been kidnapped.”
Ladybug’s face turned pale, but she took a deep breath instead of panicking. “What do we know?”
“Ra’s al Ghul has taken the former Chat Noir in an attempt to convince the Guardian of the Miraculous to turn over the jewels to him,” Batman reported.
Her face turned up into a snarl. “The League of Assassins,” she spat.
They were surprised that she knew Ra’s. But they hid it well.
“I take it you understand why we cannot allow the Miraculous to be surrendered to his control,” Batman continued.
Wonder Woman stepped in before Ladybug could reply. “Ladybug, we need you to tell us who the Guardian is so that we may protect them.”
Ladybug let out a cold laugh. Shivers ran down everyone’s spine. “Wonder Woman, you misunderstand. The Order of the Miraculous is all but dead. I’m all that’s left. You want the Grand Guardian of the Miraculous?” She spread her arms wide. “You’re looking at her. And Ra’s al Ghul can have them over my dead body. ”
The gathered heroes looked stunned. “Now where is Adrien?”
Red robin started, recovering first. “You’re not going alone.”
“You’re right,” Ladybug cut in. “I’m not. I’m gathering my team.”
“What Red Robin meant to say is that Batman and his assembled partners are going with you,” Wonder Woman soothed. “They have experience dealing with Ra’s and would be a great asset.”
“I’ll be back in ten minutes, at the most.” She said. Everyone nodded. She portalled away to gather her team.
Five minutes later a portal opened and stepped out Honey bee, Dragoness and Cobra in the Glory. The portal snapped shut when Ladybug entered.
“This is not enough! We’re dealing with Ra’s al Ghul and the league here!” Ladybug said. “We need her. She’s the last resort if we lose!” Dragoness exclaimed. The Justice league was confused. Who were they talking about?
“You’re right. Bee, you’re the only one who knows where she is. You’re her best friend. I can't find her in all of paris!” Ladybug asks, turning to Honey bee.
“You’re right, I do. It’ll be easy to find her. She’ll be in her room. She’s always Isolated, so don’t worry about getting caught.” Honey Bee answers.
“Isolation! I thought I told her to Socialize!” Ladybug exclaims.
“Yeah, but her family treats her like a pariah except some people. But Ladybug I don’t know if she’ll be able to fight.” Honey bee says.
“Rossi?”
“Rossi.”
“Now location please.” Ladybug says.
“Right. Wayne Manor, Gotham, New Jersey.” Honeybee whispers. Earning surprised looks from Ladybug and the Supers.
“Alright.” Ladybug portals away. This was all staged of course. She had recently found a spell to make a clone of herself.
“Why won't the hero be able to fight? She’s a hero!” Batman exclaims.
“Depression, you overgrown furry, Depression. She’s tried committing sucide several times. We saved her.” This earns many shocked looks.
Cue opening a portal. All of the Paris heroes Gasps. All in glory Multimouse is standing there.
When Honey Bee saw Multimouse, she gasped and enveloped her in a hug, muttering French endearments and saying how much she’d missed her. Dragoness stole Multimouse for a hug next before passing her on to Viperion who also received an extra peck on the lips in return, while Ladybug watched with a soft smile.
With Kaalki involved, it was child’s play to get into the assassin stronghold. Team Miraculous filled the gaps and worked seamlessly in their own right, simply a step away from Gotham’s Bats. They beat assassins on their own. The Bats just watched in awe.
It didn’t take them long to make their way to Ra’s.
The man wore a self-satisfied smirk on his face as he greeted him from his throne. A bruised and bloodied but otherwise intact Adrien was being restrained on the dias a few feet away.
“Well, well, if it isn’t Team Miraculous,” Ra’s mused, looking down the line. His eyes paused on Multimouse and his expression shifted to intense amusement. “And if it isn’t the latest in the Detective’s brood. I suppose heroics truly do run in the family after all.”
A number of shocked and confused gazes snapped to Multimouse, who simply stared at him down with cold eyes growling quietly.
“And yet she isn’t why we’re here,” Ladybug cut in coldly, shoving that problem in a box for later.
Ra’s shifted his oily attention to her. “Yes, I believe I requested the Guardian, young Bug.”
“And here I am,” Ladybug said simply. “But I will never cede the Miraculous to you.”
“Well, then I suppose the Blonde Cat dies.” The assassin near Adrien tried to kill him only to turn to orange smoke. Ra’s growls when he realizes he was tricked.
“Your reign is over. Your crimes won’t continue much longer. Tell me, just how long have you been using the Pits to keep yourself alive?”
“Goodbye, Ra’s al Ghul,” Ladybug intoned. “We’ll leave you to what remains of your empire.” She turned and motioned for the Fox to open the portal to the Watchtower. The Bats followed behind.
Adrien was at the fringes, attempting to escape a hero that was trying to get him to the Medbay for medical attention. He only had eyes for Multimouse.
“Marinette!” he called.
The Bats were shocked at both the name and the blatant outing of a secret identity.
Adrien broke free from his wounds. “Marinette, I’m so sorry,” he said brokenly.
It was quiet for a moment. “I take it they told you why I left, then,” Multimouse said, carefully devoid of emotion.
“I never thought-”
“Don’t, Adrien,” Queen Bee snapped.
Adrien gaped at his friend, shocked at the venom her words carried against him.
“But her Lies, they weren't hurting anyone!”
“How?” Multimouse snapped, her voice cracking. She took a deep breath. “How was it different? Because you told me I had to ‘take the high road?’ Because her lies would unravel themselves? Because she wasn’t hurting anyone? Bullshit, Adrien! They were hurting me!”
“She followed your advice at first,” Queen Bee said sharply. “She shouldn’t have, but you were her friend and she trusted you. By the time she realized that it had been a mistake, it was too late. Everyone else was in too deep and you did nothing . When Mari tried to tell everyone that they were being lied to, she was made to look like a liar. A bully.”
“Do you realize that the rest of us had people on watchlists?” Ryuko said bluntly. “People at risk of Akumatization that could bring the city to its knees. Aurore, because of Stormy Weather II. Ondine, because of Syren. But do you know who was on top?” She let the silence sit. “Marinette. Marinette was on top of that list. The only reason she was above Ladybug was because Marinette was drowning. But any time she tried to get through to the others, Lila hit back harder and you would ask Mari to back down. Because we don’t want to upset Lila, right? We don’t want her to become an akuma. Again.”
“My parents believed her, Adrien,” Multimouse said quietly. “They sent me away because I was ‘out of control’. I’m treated like a criminal where I am now! So I’m sorry, Adrien, but I can’t forgive you. You said you didn’t want to live with more lies, but then you stopped telling the truth when it threatened your ‘peace’. Even when that ‘peace’ might have ruined my life.” She took a deep, steadying breath. “But you know what they say, right? Never meet your heroes.” She turned and looked straight at Batman. “They’ll always just disappoint you.”
- - - - - - - -
The next week was tense at the Wayne manor. But eventually they apologised to marinette. She became close with them. She and her family then sent lawsuits to the Akuma class.
The saying is true then. “All’s well that ends well.”

What better way to break in a new blog than by immediately posting fic? In honour of Nightmare of the Wolf, here’s some Vesemir and Filavandrel!
(read on AO3)
M, 2.9K words, no warnings, Vesemir recognizes Jaskier’s lute when he arrives at Kaer Morhen
Vesemir has been expecting this day for decades. It’s rare for witchers to meet a trusted companion out on the Path, and even rarer to find one who wishes to travel alongside them. But the reputation of witchers has changed in recent years, for better or worse. Their focus is no longer on maintaining the traditional practices of their schools, but on protection— of other witchers, and of helpless commoners. Perhaps the humans can sense that change.
More curiously, the folklore surrounding witchers has changed. Vesemir very badly wants to meet the man who has done so much to change the narrative, but years pass and all Geralt brings home every winter are stories. The younger witchers entertain (and tease) him but no one ever asks where the bard goes during the cold months that Geralt spends at Kaer Morhen. Perhaps even Geralt doesn’t know.
Finally, after hundreds of stories of Geralt-and-Dandelion, Vesemir receives a letter one autumn before he himself has even considered the journey home. His chest warms as he reads Geralt’s careful penmanship, noting how the ink blots at the start of each new sentence. The paper and wax are fine, suggesting that Jaskier used his academic connections to perhaps land Geralt a few contracts near Oxenfurt. Geralt’s lettering may be nearly flawless but his message is stilted, reminding Vesemir of when his pups were nervous children. Does Jaskier really make him act this awkward? Their relationship must be serious, then.
I am hoping you will welcome my guest with open arms, or I fear he may freeze over the coming months. Vesemir looks for a signature but there is none, save a very fancy G at the bottom. No returning address has been provided either, and while he could easily pen a missive to Oxenfurt, it’s probably best not to respond. Each day Nilfgaard only grows stronger, and crueler. Perhaps Jaskier has been caught up in their hunger for power. Vesemir folds the letter up and hides it in his saddlebag.
When the frost begins creeping in, the oldest Wolf begins his trek up the mountain. He’s almost always the first one to arrive; Coën had beaten him to it once and apologized for weeks, and Vesemir would do anything to avoid that again. And if he makes an effort to arrive early this year so that he can make the Keep look as important as it is, well… nobody needs to know.
It takes a week and a half before Geralt arrives, Jaskier in tow. Vesemir spends the time flushing out a bat infestation and dealing with the most perishable of his spoils from the past year. The White Wolf seems to bring the cold with him most years but Vesemir, cognizant of Jaskier’s inferior body, made sure to set out enough furs in advance. As soon as he hears Roach’s hooves approaching he starts a roaring fire, and when the inner doors of Kaer Morhen burst open, Vesemir is ready to make a great first impression.
Upon seeing him, Geralt smiles right away, crossing the room to greet him. Vesemir looks him over; no obvious new scars, no missing body parts. Must have been an uneventful year, but… Geralt is here, safe and alive, so Vesemir allows himself some private, selfish, unwitcherly joy. It’s the sort of thing Deglan would have lectured him for. He finds he doesn’t care.
“I got your letter,” he tells Geralt, who nods solemnly. “I thought it best not to reply. Is Nilfgaard on your trail?”
“Our trail,” Geralt sighs, stepping aside so that Vesemir can meet his companion. “Vesemir, this is Jaskier.”
The bard, dwarfed by a large fur coat, moves forward so that Vesemir can properly scrutinize him. He certainly doesn’t look his age, but Vesemir knows he’s travelled as far as any witcher has gone, and seen sights no human should really have witnessed. “Oh, I’ve heard plenty about you, Jaskier. I was wondering when Geralt was finally going to bring you along for the winter!” That makes Jaskier perk up, and Vesemir chuckles. “I promise that no harm will come to you here.”
“Thank you,” Jaskier says. “Geralt doesn’t like sharing much about the other witchers, but I’m sure you must have a wealth of stories for me to hear!” Sure enough, Geralt frowns. “And I don’t know how much help I’ll be with hunting or gathering, but I would be happy to regale you on the coldest nights—”
And before Vesemir can read into that unfortunate phrasing, Jaskier shrugs off his fur coat to produce a lute. He must have been wearing it strapped around his front on the journey through the mountains, not wanting to condemn such a fine instrument to being jostled around in Roach’s saddlebags. Vesemir squints at the red-brown wood and the golden details under the strings. They almost look like a particular elven design.
Oh. Vesemir’s realization nearly bowls him over. Geralt and Jaskier stare at him, respectively concerned and curious, but Vesemir can’t take his eyes off the lute. “My apologies, I… I forgot something in my chamber. Make yourselves at home, and… I’ll leave you to it.” He leaves without any further explanation, hastening to his quarters and abandoning the pair of them to their own devices. He can still feel their gazes drilling into his back but he suddenly feels weaker than usual.
---
“I heard there was a witcher skulking around this forest,” the spy says. Vesemir is almost relieved to hear them speak; he’s been glancing over his shoulder for nearly an hour now to try and reveal an invisible pursuer. He should’ve known he was right. Just because the spy doesn’t lumber like a human or reek of magic like a monster doesn’t mean he won’t be in trouble.
He stops in the middle of the path, still facing forward. He’s got a sneaking suspicion that the second he turns, a very unfriendly knife is going to introduce itself to his ribcage. Or perhaps an arrow, although he hasn’t heard the sound of anything and he’s been listening very closely.
His pursuer approaches. Fuck, they’re light on their feet. If Vesemir was just an average bandit, he’d be done for. He braces himself for an attack, balling his hands up into fists at his sides. The stranger continues, tone still pleasant enough, “Why not stay in town? A warm bed must beat trudging through mud in the early hours of the morning trying to find ground. I’ll give you some advice, witcher; there’s no dry ground. You’re heading towards a swamp.”
“They wouldn’t let me stay in town,” Vesemir admits, already grumpy. He whirls around and sees the stranger; a lean man, just slightly shorter than him. The long hood of their cloak casts a dark shadow over their face, blocking them from view. “If you’re here to rob me, I hate to disappoint, but you’ve followed me all this way for nothing.”
He holds up his empty coinpurse; not to prove himself, just to complain. The stranger titters, a lovely, high-pitched sound like glass clinking against glass, like chimes. Like birdsong. Vesemir’s eyes narrow. “That’s a shame,” they say. “You do love coin.”
There’s something disturbingly familiar about the words. Vesemir decides to gamble with his own life, stalking forward until he’s face to face with the stranger. Up close, his scent is even stronger. Frowning, Vesemir is about to reveal the man’s identity when he does it himself, pushing his hood back. His hair is tied up in complex braids unlike any Vesemir has ever seen, only a few loose strands hanging down over his forehead. But it would take more than a lifetime for Vesemir to forget that face.
“Fil,” he declares, delighted, and doesn’t think twice before crashing into the elf. Filavandrel laughs again and though it makes Vesemir feel a little silly, the sound still fills his heart with joy. He embraces his friend tightly, clinging to him for so long that both their boots sink down into the flooded dark soil of the forest. “What are you doing here?”
“It’s like I told you.” The elf pats the back of Vesemir’s neck, unwittingly sending a shiver down his spine. Vesemir’s grip tightens. “My scouts said I might find a witcher lost in the woods.”
“I’m not lost,” Vesemir grunts, finally pulling away. “I just… don’t know where I’m going.”
“Come to my camp,” suggests Filavandrel. As if he even had to ask.
Unsurprisingly, elves make their camps much differently than witchers do. When they arrive Vesemir doesn’t immediately see any sort of bedroll, and then he feels embarrassed for looking. He never feels this way around anyone else; he can make bawdy jokes with Sven or blatantly hit on Luka, but in the company of Filavandrel aén Fidháil, shame bursts through him so easily.
Maybe he just has a thing for pretty blondes who he leaves behind.
Except Fil is here, smiling indulgently as Vesemir gapes like a fool. “It’s nice,” he finally manages to say. “Want me to set a fire?”
“A campfire, sure. Not a big one,” Filavandrel teases. Swallowing, Vesemir turns to a firepit that the elf must have fashioned himself. He takes a bundle of wood that’s already been cut and easily ignites it, all the while trying to figure out why his heart is pounding so damn loud. Thank fuck that Filavandrel isn’t a witcher.
“Have you eaten?”
“No. You?”
“I was going to have some bread, and go hunting in the morning.” There’s a small noise and when Vesemir turns to look, his friend is holding out a large chunk of bread. It doesn’t even look that stale. Vesemir sees that Filavandrel has taken a much smaller piece for himself and growls about it, but the elf snatches the smaller piece away before Vesemir can lunge for it. “I don’t want to hear any self-sacrificial bullshit about how witchers don’t need to eat. Take the damn bread, Ves.”
“... Fine,” Vesemir relents, cowed. He accepts the bread, fingertips accidentally brushing over Filavandrel’s when he takes it. It’s fucking delicious, melting in his mouth almost instantly. Seeds and herbs have been baked into it too, and Vesemir savours every bite, moaning. “You should quit being a professional elf and start a new life as a baker, fuck.”
“I can do both. It’s an old recipe, needs a stone oven. And what does being a professional elf even mean?” Filavandrel reaches up to shove him, except they aren’t very far away from each other so the push nearly knocks Vesemir off his balance. Before he can tip over onto the grass Filavandrel grabs him by the collar of his gambeson and tugs him back, and, well. Vesemir may be a witcher, but parts of him are still human.
Neither of them has to say a word; he opens for Filavandrel like he’s been thinking of nothing but this since the second they laid eyes on each other. Honestly, he sort of has. Fil runs a hand over the shaved part of his head, pressing his palm against the back of his neck to pull him in closer. Vesemir moans, chasing the taste of something sweet and acidic and magic. It certainly isn’t the fucking bread.
Afterwards they lie together by the smoldering remains of the fire, both too spent to clean themselves or dress. Vesemir glances over at the cinders and thinks about making an exit soon. It isn’t that he doesn’t want to stay with Filavandrel. He’s comfortable here, especially right now, and his friend always makes his heart feel lighter. But the Path calls to him; lying here without his weapons or armour, Vesemir can nearly hear Deglan’s scolding. And that thought is enough to ruin anyone’s afterglow.
Before he can move, Filavandrel sits up, arching his back. Vesemir turns to watch him, nearly salivating at how he looks in the low firelight. His hair is radiant, and his skin isn’t nearly flushed enough. He’s beautiful. Ethereal. Selfishly, Vesemir wishes that he’d left more marks.
Fil climbs to his feet and crosses the campsite to retrieve something out of reach. Vesemir cranes his neck to try and peek, and Filavandrel laughs kindly at him. “I was just thinking that something’s missing.”
“I was thinking the same thing,” Vesemir says, lowering his head back down onto the ground. “I should have kissed you more.”
The elf pauses at that before finally demanding, “Kiss me later.” A note resounds through the air, clear and beautiful; then a chord, and another. Very soon their little clearing feels more like a fairy circle than a campground as Filavandrel plays music.
He finally walks into view, still naked, still beautiful. Now holding a lute. Vesemir tries to sit up so that he can properly see the performance but Filavandrel is faster, moving over him and then sitting atop his stomach, resting his back against Vesemir’s thighs. He plays the entire time, fingers moving adeptly over the instrument.
It’s a beautiful lute, probably made of some holy dark red wood. The golden design etched into it is mesmerizing, and the strings could have been plucked from the mane of a unicorn. Vesemir hardly spares it any attention, too wrapped up in the sight of a naked Filavandrel straddling him and singing.
He’ll only realize decades later that the elf was probably trying to court him.
Someone knocks on the door to his chambers and Vesemir jumps to his feet, caught off-guard by the sound that plucked him from his memories. He finds Jaskier waiting outside his room, toying idly with the sleeves of his doublet. Vesemir shakes his head, holding the door open for Jaskier even as he apologizes. “I’m sorry for running out earlier. I meant to give you a tour of the Keep, hopefully Geralt will have stepped up in my absence, but I am sorry—”
“No— please,” Jaskier interrupts. Once more he pulls his lute from around himself, holding it out to Vesemir. “I just… Your countenance changed dramatically upon seeing this, so…”
Fuck. “Yes,” Vesemir sighs, staring at the lute. Jaskier has managed to keep it in good condition after all this time. “I… Filavandrel and I are old friends.”
The bard’s eyes bulge out of his head but he enters Vesemir’s chambers, heading straight to the desk to perch on the edge of the chair. Vesemir finds another chair for himself, moving its previous occupant— a stack of books— onto the floor. In his defence, he hadn’t expected the tour of Kaer Morhen to begin in his personal chambers.
“He didn’t mention knowing any other witchers,” Jaskier hums. “How did you meet him?”
“You’re sure you want to know? It’s sort of a long story.” The bard just nods, eager and polite. Instantly Vesemir can see why Geralt likes him. “Alright,” he obliges, reaching for the bottle of wine on the desk. They’re going to need it. “We met long before you would have been born…”
 ---
South of Kaedwen, the seasons are more aligned than any other part of the Continent. The winters are crisp, the summers lazy. Filavandrel likes to spend his summers here, where the canopy of trees is thick enough to provide shade but thin enough to provide colour. Everything is verdant, the flowers calling to him as he passes each one. When he was a child he had longed to visit towns and experience human delights like festivals but now he knows better. The elves live off the land well enough anyway.
Some of the younger people in his company these days have that same yearning, and some of them even manage it. One elf who resembles Toruviel always runs off to see some different show, take in some new performance. If Filavandrel thought that she could get away with it, he would pay for her to attend Oxenfurt— she’s very good. And the upside of her risking her life just to listen to music is that she’s got a very good memory, and she always brings the songs back home.
Today she’s singing some new ode to a witcher; not that bigoted anthem of lies that the bastard warbler from Posada somehow spread through the Continent, thank the Gods. This one seems to revolve more around making the right choice, and how a real hero does good deeds not for coin or his own profit, but just to be good. Filavandrel thinks about the few witchers that he’s had the misfortune of contacting over the years, and under his breath he scoffs.
Cheesy chorus aside, the lyrics seem to have some merit. The first verse is all about some terrible monster that was taking young girls, transforming them into half-beasts. The hero witcher’s judgement fails him and he blames himself for years, even losing a lover in the process. Filavandrel scowls; despite his own experiences with witches, he doesn’t want to listen to a song written by yet another prejudiced bard.
Then the third verse lands. The witcher grows old and wise and has children of his own, and he regrets his inaction and he tries to reach out to contact his lover. But at that point his lover, who devoted his life to protecting those in danger, was too busy being King of the Silver Towers. Filavandrel stops dead in his tracks as he realizes which witcher this must have been inspired by.
The elven king huffs, starting to compose a route in his head. He thinks a trip up north is long overdue.

could you do another fic where mari has too many overprotective relatives (batfam, jason in particular, adrien, luka, kagami, chloe, jagged, bruce, penny, clara, tony stark and the avengers maybe lol) and all the boys who want to date her are scared away by them until she starts seeing damian or someone else i love your writing and thanks! ♡♡
I loved this prompt immediately and I really hope I did it justice! Hope you like it!
The Never-Ending Cycle of First Dates
“No! Wait! He’s just kidding!” Marinette ran out of the building trying to grab the boy's hand before he could escape, but she was too late. Her hand slapped her forehead in defeat as yet another man hurried off before they could even order drinks. Turning her attention to where her target stood, she couldn’t help the bubbling anger directed at his smirk.
“Why must you ruin every date? It’s like you guys have a pool of names and you just reach in and see who's in luck to scare off the next guy that tries to date me!” She threw her hands into the air, only earning a chuckle.
“C’mon Princess, if the man can’t handle a little threat then how is he gonna stick around for the long term? Hmm?”
Marinette wanted to argue, but she knew it was pointless. Jason and the others were firm in their beliefs; Marinette must be protected from heartbreak at all costs. She tried arguing with them that if she never got hurt in the first place then she could never learn, but alas, her words seemed to fall on deaf ears.
“How did you even find us?”
Jason’s smirk widened which only fueled her rage.
“What? You thought meeting at the restaurant would actually change anything? I can find you anywhere and everywhere. Plus Adrien totally snitched.”
Marinette made a mental note to lay into Adrien later after she found the poor kid that Jason scared of.
“One day I’m going to find someone who isn’t scared by you lot and he’s gonna make it through the first date.”
She turned her back on Jason’s boisterous laughter. She was determined to prove her point. After all, there had to be one man in Gotham City that wasn’t afraid of her, right? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The rest of her week had gone as smoothly as Monday had to say the least.
Tuesday’s date was crashed by Kagami’s foil. One look at her slicing the bread and he didn’t even make it to the table.
Wednesday’s date was a double date with Luka and Chloe. Marinette begged Tikki to lend her a little luck, but the small God would do no such thing. At least this guy made it past drinks. Marinette almost cheered until Luka donned his infamous stare. She watched as her date squirmed uncomfortably before excusing himself for the bathroom, never returning.
Thursday’s date ended with the man strung up by his ankles, none other than Nightwing and Red Robin dropping in to apologize, claiming they thought he was trying to mug her.
By Friday, she was ready to cancel her date before it even began.
“Adrien, you guys are making it impossible to even think about dating.” She collapsed on the couch, letting out a small whine.
“I think that’s kind of the point Mari, besides, you’re a working woman now, shouldn’t you be focusing on your career-”
Adrien paused as his eyes narrowed in on Marinette’s hand mocking his lecture. Her hand paused as she noticed his now silent voice. Meeting his eyes, she simply shrugged.
“You sound like my mom. She’s worried that I’m too worried about dating but guess what? I kind of missed out on that experience in high school pining after a guy who wasn’t even interested!”
They both chuckled as they remembered the awkward dance they both did from the time they were 13.
“So what are you going to do about the date tonight?”
Marinette shrugged once more as she pulled at a piece of her hair, twirling it around her finger.
“Who is on date duty tonight?”
“First of all, it’s not called date duty,” he waved off the pointed look Marinette gave him before continuing, “and it was supposed to be Jagged and Penny but in case they fail, Tony is on backup duty and Jason is on backup, backup duty.”
“Not date duty my ass.”
Marinette sighed longingly as she pulled herself into a sitting position.
“I’m giving this one more chance before I swear off dating forever.”
Adrien chuckled before offering his hand to pull her into a standing position.
“Well, guess you better prepare to look good. After all, they always say if you’re gonna go out, at least do it in style.”
Marinette rolled her eyes as she pushed Adrien to the couch, ignoring his protests. If this was going to be her last date, then maybe he had a point of going out in style.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  .
Marinette pulled at her dress nervously as a black limo approached her outside of her apartment. She had checked the perimeter once as Marinette and once more as Ladybug; there was no sign of Jagged or Penny. Somehow though, that didn’t calm her nerves.
As the limo pulled to a stop, a man stepped out of the back seat causing her breath to hitch in her throat. As if him being drop-dead gorgeous wasn’t enough, her worst fears stepped out from behind him, wide grins on their faces.
“Oi, there she is Penny! Marinette, we tried calling you but you sent us straight to voicemail, that wasn’t very rock n’ roll of you. Luckily, this nice man right here was there to give us a ride, right Penny?”
Penny nodded sweetly as if the two of them were innocent victims of Marinette’s forgetfulness. She wanted to turn right back into her apartment and never leave again, but a small hand grasped hers, pulling it up to their lips, as soft and gentle as his movements.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I have heard many stories of you from my brothers and father. You seem to have impressed many powerful people such as the two strays I picked up off the streets earlier.”
His smile was playful as it coaxed a small laugh from her. It helped even more to see Jagged panicking in the background at the sight of the small gesture. This man, no, his name was Damian. Damian had already broken through the first wall without even knowing it. Marinette let herself feel a spark of hope at the thought of finally making it through a first date.
“Anywho, now that we have arrived, I must apologize for leaving you two here, how does the saying go? ‘High and dry?’ but I do have a date to continue.” He nodded to Penny and Jagged leaving them both with their jaws almost touching the ground.
If she had a moment, Marinette might’ve taken a photo, but she instead quickly grabbed Damian’s arm, shutting the limo door before either could protest. She didn’t bother to release the breath she had been holding until the apartments were gone from the rearview mirror.
“I am so sorry about them, they-” she tried to let the apology spill out of her mouth but Damian simply shook his head, that same playful smile monopolizing his face.
“I am fully aware of the so-called ‘date duty’ your friends have. After all, my brother is in charge of the scheduling.”
It was Marinette’s turn for her jaw to drop. This was Jason’s brother? The literal spawn of satan as Jason had put it. There was no way. He was so nice, and such a gentleman, there was no way they could be the same person.
“How come nobody ever told me you were in town? Last time Jason introduced me to the family, he made sure to wait for when you left on a business trip. I’ve only ever been invited over when you’re not there!”
Damian chuckled as if this was a normal occurrence.
“They knew I had a crush on you ever since I watched your alter ego take down an akuma three times your size. It was only a matter of time until I asked you out, but with Jason observing your every date, he made it quite difficult.”
Marinette felt her face flush as his words washed over her. A man that was actually interested in her and was willing to take on the trouble a date with her could mean? She lightly pinched herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming.
“You know it’s only going to get worse from here right? Like, Jagged and Penny were only the first round worse.”
Damian leaned in, placing his hand overtop hers, that smile of his killing her slowly.
“Can I tell you a secret?”
Marinette nodded as she leaned closer, nearly closing the gap between them, her heart racing from the distance.
“I borrowed his rotation schedule and have prepared for every incident that could occur tonight.”
Marinette couldn’t help the words that slipped out of her mouth.
“I think I might love you.” Immediately she slapped her hand over her mouth letting out a string of apologies as she scooched away from the red-faced man. He cleared his throat, trying to overcome his shock as his smile pulled into a small smirk.
“Don’t apologize, just tell me again if you feel the same after we’ve finished the date.”
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Somehow, they managed to make it through dinner without a single hiccup. It was suspicious, but she was having too good of a time to care. She fell in love immediately with his animals as he showed off his many photos, commenting on whichever one seemed to make her melt the most.
They talked about where they had gone to college, where they were working now and what they were hoping for their futures. Marinette felt her heart swell with excitement for how compatible they were, it almost made tonight ending that much more painful.
As they stepped out of the restaurant, Marinette heard a familiar voice that made her blood run cold.
“Do you know who I am? I could buy this whole place and then you’d have to let me in! I’m the damn Ironman, doesn’t that count for something?”
The poor hostess was shaking her head, trying to apologize to the other guests for the wait he was causing. Marinette let out a defeated sigh as she took a step forward to intervene, but Damian’s hand intertwined with hers pulling her in the opposite direction.
“There aren’t too many places in Gotham City that Tony Stark isn’t banned from. However, you can thank my father for that. He agreed for me to host my dinner at his restaurant to nullify backup number 2, Tony Stark.”
Marinette almost wanted to laugh at the irony of a billionaire being banned from a small Italian restaurant in Gotham.
“There’s not much that Uncle Tony can’t fix by throwing money at it, but I suppose that’s pointless when it’s another billionaire causing the said problem.”
Damian sent her a wink that warmed her to her core. They decided to ditch the limo in favor of walking home, spending more time with each other coincidentally. Marinette felt her mind racing like she was in middle school once again planning her imaginary wedding and their future hamster.
He was everything she had hoped to find in a man and so much more. She honestly regretted not meeting him sooner, it would’ve saved her so much trouble over the years.
She opened her mouth, only to close it immediately as her eyes narrowed in on a figure leaning against her apartment building.
“Jason, what are you doing here? There’s no date to ruin now and I finally found a guy who can’t be scared off by your stupid date duty.”
She crossed her arms in defiance but Jason paid her no mind.
“Damian, I didn’t know you were home so soon. I would’ve locked you up in the Batcave to make sure this would’ve never happened.”
Damian scoffed beside her as he shoved his hands in his pockets.
“As if you could.”
The two men were locked in a staredown, leaving Marinette to wilt in the tension that had formed. She moved towards her apartment, only to be stopped by Damian’s hand for the third time tonight.
Turning her back to Jason, she watched as he brought her hand to his lips, his kiss still as gentle and soft as the first when he had given her hours earlier. She ignored Jason’s protest as she pulled his hand forward placing a quick peck on his lips.
The man’s face matched her own in shades of red.
“Does this mean you would be interested in a second date?”
Marinette nodded furiously before waving him goodnight, darting past Jason’s brooding figure.
“This is not the end of it Marinette!”
Jason’s threats felt empty compared to the excitement racing in her heart. She had finally broken the cycle of never-ending first dates and boy, did it feel good.

Scarabée and Kitty Claws AU
Juleka Couffaine/Empress Tigress (Tiger!Juleka)
Alix and Juleka are quite close in this AU. She's also close with Anarka & Luka.
Juleka and Luka help Alix with dyeing her hair.
Juleka's a year & ten months younger than Luka.
The two siblings even get Alix into Jagged Stone's music.
They even watch horror movies together before Alya moved there & they added her to this pass time event.
Before the school year started, Alix was hanging out with Juleka & Rose, but Rose had to leave due to an "headache".
Because Alix can keep a secret, Juleka then secretly tells her about Rose's sickness.
Juleka: Alix, please keep this a secret... Rose doesn't want you guys to treat her differently.
Alix, hugging Juleka: I promise I won't tell anyone. Rose'll tell them when she's ready.
Juleka, hugging Alix back: ... Thank you.
Alix keeps Rose's secret and the first day of school was normal... until Hawkmoth akumatized Ivan & Scarabée and Kitty Claws had to come into play!
Juleka (along with Rose) were more than happy to join the Art Club after the whole Evillustrator situation with Alix Nathaliel Marinette and surprisingly Chloé.
Like most of the main class, Juleka's not the biggest fan of Chloé (at first) due to the bullying, but Kitty Claws is her favorite between the two heroines.
When Pixelator shows up, Juleka was surprised to see Chloé punch Adrien out the way and take the attack for him.
After the fight with Pixelator, Juleka and Rose were invited to the Jagged Stone concert along with Chloé and Marinette.
Much to Juleka Rose and Chloé's surprise, Marinette tells Alix "I'm inspired by the glasses I made and gotta get to work on new designs right away. You can go!" & thus Alix was able to go to the concert with them.
Lots of pictures were taken at that concert by Chloé & sent to Adrien (Gabriel had the bodyguard pick him up after the akuma attack).
As Chloé starts to show more of her nicer side, Juleka starts to warm up to her more.
In Guitar Villain, Juleka was surprised to find out that Chloé wasn't a XY fan.
Juleka: You're not a XY fan?
Chloé: We're going on 16 & his targetted audience is 10-13 year old girls, and he can't even do THAT right.
Juleka and Rose: ...
Alix: *trying not to laugh*
Juleka even introduced Chloé to Luka, but it was through a Face Time call.
Chloé's quite happy to meet Juleka's older brother.
Juleka's quite surprised when Chloé asks her, Rose, and Alix to come to a slumber party at her place with Sabrina as well.
Since she and Rose are on friendly terms with Chloé, she accepted.
While Rose was akumatized into Princess Fragrance, Juleka helped Kitty Claws out as much as she could while Alix had to get Tikki healed.
Kitty Claws even saved Juleka from getting affected by Princess Fragrance's power.
She was more than happy when the heroines saved Rose & they both got to hang out with Prince Ali that day.
Juleka becomes a different akuma in this AU. Instead of Reflekta, she's turned into Photo Finish.
Juleka still has her "photo curse", but instead of being locked in the bathroom, pictures day gets cancelled because the photographer gets sick & they can't find a replacement in time.
This upsets Juleka very much and she's akumatized.
With the promises of making sure every photo she takes of someone will be their last, Juleka's akumatized into Photo Finish.
An akuma with the ability to turn her targets into photos that land on the ground. She's really fast, surprisingly strong, and quite the dresser.
When Rose goes to check on her, she's Photo Finish's first target. She turns her into a photo, picks it up off the floor, kisses it, and puts it in her pocket.
It takes Kitty Claws quite awhile, but they do defeat Photo Finish & purify the akuma.
The whole class then organized a photo shoot in the park for all of them.
Chloé tries to avoid being in any pictures, but Alix Adrien Sabrina Juleka and Rose pull her into a few of them.
When Section Kitty's practicing for the show (before Captain Hardrock appears), Juleka takes abit of time to comfort Chloé who was upset about Adrien not being there with him due to his father.
She even noticed Chloé having so much fun at the show as Adrien performed with Kitty Claws.
Juleka (along with the other members of Kitty Section) was more than happy to perform at Chloé's birthday day.
But then the akuma happened & the heroes at the time (Scarabée, Kitty Claws, Stallion Star, Draconia, Arman Renard & Busy Bee) had to save the day.
Juleka still wants to be a model & is supported by her family, friends, and especially her girlfriend Rose.
Marinette even has outfits made that were inspired by Scarabée & the other members of the hero team (at the time).
Of course once she hears about this, & gets jealous cause she wasn't invited to model with Adrien, Brigiette Alarie is akumatized again into Top Model.
An akuma with the ability to transform others into her modeling minions so they could find Adrien and bring him to her, so she could transform him into her Model Prince.
Of Queen Coccinelle and Mau Noire (This was their first day with their Swapped Miraculous) do save the day in the end.
Juleka figures that they'd switched their Miraculous & absolutely loved how they looked.
Juleka: You both look so AWESOME!
Mau Noire: Thank you so much!
Queen Coccinelle: You look awesome too, Miss Model!
Juleka gets her Miraculous when her biological father Henri Bohen shows up on her 16th birthday.
While this party is happening, Henri shows up and claims he's gonna take Juleka away.
This doesn't go over well & Anarka and Penny (with force) escort him off the family ship.
With promises of having his perfect family no matter what, Henri's akumatized into Family Man.
An akuma with power to transform his targets into his ideal perfect family members.
Anarka's turnt into his "perfect wife", Caline (who is also there with her son) & Penny are turnt into his "perfect sister-in-laws", Luka along with Aurélien are turnt into his "perfect sons", & Jagged Stone is turnt into his pathetic "brother" that's jealous of him (which was perfect for Family Man).
Before he could turn Juleka into his perfect daughter, Scarabée gets her out of there while the other heroes hold the akuma off.
After hiding away from the akuma, Scarabée give Juleka the Tiger Miraculous.
And thus, Empress Tigress is on the scene!
After the battle, Scarabée makes Empress Tigress a permanent welder, which makes Juleka quite happy.
Before she could go transform back, Rose runs up to her and Scarabée & Kitty Claws, asking if Juleka's okay.
Empress Tigress: Don't worry, your girlfriend's alright.
Rose: How'd you know she's my girlfriend?
Scarabée and Kitty Claws: ...
Empress Tigress, blushing: I've been to a couple of Kitty Section's shows & notice how close you are. Okay bye!! *runs off*
Rose, internally: Juleka?
Juleka is so happy to be helping the other heroes out as Empress Tigress.
She's one of the few heroes to comment on Scarabée and Kitty Claws' growing relationship.
She even wishes that Rose had a Miraculous so they could be that close.
Little does she know, Rose will be getting a Miraculous very soon (Rose's post is coming!).
When XY and Bob Roth get Luka akumatized into Silencer, Empress Tigress is ready to put them on the News. Just not the way they'd prefer.
Of couse Shellraiser grabs onto her to keep her from doing something crazy.
Empress Tigress, being held back by Shellraiser: I can make it look like an accident.
Stallion Star and Draconia: NO!
Scarabée: Remember, we gotta save Luka.
Kitty Claws: Maybe just let her punch them for a couple of minutes.
Busy Bee: As long as they're not at the heaven gates, the Miraculous Cure should fix'em up, right?
Scarabée, Stallion Star, Draconia, and Shellraiser: ...
Shellraiser, still holding Empress Tigress: I mean... She's got a point.
Scarabée: NO!
After calming Empress Tigress down abit, they're able to defeat Silencer (after a while) & expose Bob Roth & XY on TV.
Kitty Section even got to perform on Live TV.
Juleka was just happy Luka was okay.

idk about you, but with the lack of Chat noir in the finale trailer + all the felix, I feel like narratively the ml crew is starting to try and replace adrien w/ felix in every aspect but romance. I mean felix gets agency where adrien has his taken away. plus let's not forget that they only introduced felix into the ml canon (and not just pv) after chameleon when all the salters *assumed* fanon felix would be better than canon adrien. Do you think the show will go there?
i genuinely have no idea! i feel pretty confident about my interpretations of the show (and i have to thank a few of my incredible mutuals for the amazing discussions we had, otherwise i would probably still be wracking my brain), but félix is the one part that stumps me. anyone who has seen the 100+ episodes of this cartoon realizes that this is a girl power show which means that marinette always wins and gets the heroic moments, so the introduction of sentidrien clearly speaks for a gender-reversed princess and the knight who saves her narrative - and the show isn't subtle about it. i don't expect adrien to have a hand in his own saving.
Tumblr media
&
Tumblr media
that félix got introduced in episode #78 isn't surprising to me - when you have conceptualized a character that will shift the plot too much but you also want to keep the status quo going, you sparingly let him join the narrative when the narrative is at its end. félix being a sentimonster also makes sense if you know the pv story of his character. but tying him so hardcore to adrien, a character who is a prop for gabriel and marinette? a third character in what should be a tango between two people? i genuinely don't know how to read it yet.
i think the show might be borrowing from other animated series like fullmetal alchemist (which apparently gets a real reference!) and in a case of narrative diarrhea, might include félix as some sort of prize or exchange for adrien's freedom. the show is pretty heavily hinting that emilie made him – and either emilie broke the miraculous by somehow making two sentimonsters with one amok and everything is fine and dandy, or the lore that says that you can't do that is indeed right and some weird shit happened, which is why félix - a disposable character who has appeared in three episodes so far - could be pivotal for adrien's freedom by being sacrificed somehow. but that doesn't work with marinette being the savior? goddang it, i really don't know.
OR, judging by how alya and luka's stories have gone, he pushes the plot, nothing happens to him, both boys (or only adrien) get freedom from the control of their amok(s), and that's it for félix. if alya is a plot device, why not félix as well?
i don't think that they are replacing adrien with félix because their roles are starkly different - adrien is the innocent lamb, félix is the cunning hellraiser. we can want for adrien to have agency all day, but the show has clearly communicated that this is not his role in the narrative. if adrien was meant to have the opportunity to, say, discover his mom or investigate gabriel's secrets, then adrien would push the plot himself. but because all the plot of the show is connected to adrien and he's the only one who can move it, yet you don't want him to overshadow marinette or to step away from his intended role, you create another character that has the ability to do what adrien, on paper, should be able to do as well. so maybe in some ways he is a replacement for a side of adrien that should be allowed to act, but isn't. and i doubt the show will go further than that. i am probably overcomplicating everything as usual and félix is a plot device.
