Huge shoutout to Bleach and Atsv for making Ichigo and Hobie actual punk guys instead of just Edgy DudesTM.Our literal introduction to Ichigo is him beating the shit out of a bunch of ADULT MEN while being only 15 for defacing a little girl's memorial and he proceeds to unfailing go on the rest of the series rebelling against authority and corruption and helping out people in need and in the finale,he never even considers joining the Soul Society and instead goes 'Lemme just rizz up my autistic pastel girl bestie and live happily ever after with her and our son while keeping up my justice fighting rq'.Don't even get me started on Hobie-Mans is out looking like THAT with all the earned self-confidence yet also being an absolute sweetheart to everyone on his side AND has zero hesitation when it comes to direct action and it's implied he's been like this since his early-mid-teens.Orihime and Miles are so real for being in love with them and they're unironically what i aspire to be.ICHIGO AND HOBIE YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Some of the teenagers have crushes and kiss each other, but nothing more.

Thoughts on t4t Ichihime :)?

Fair warning I am very much cis, and I hope my ideas don't come across as disrespectful to anyone but:

My usual favorite headcanon for trans!Ichigo is that Masaki and Isshin let him pick his own name, and he went with this one because of how perfectly it represents him.

Also, Orihime growing out her hair for Gender Reasons because of her faith in Tatsuki, and Tatsuki creating that space for her where she can explore how she wants to present and express herself without anyone giving her shit for it

Giving each other haircuts because they trust each other with their hair

One time Ichigo hesitates for days, clearly something on his mind but doesn't want to talk about it, until one day he finally asks Orihime if she can reject his t-scars for him. She says yes, of course she'll do it, and she's happy he came to her because he trusts her.

Bonus: this is them when each of them finds out the other is trans, much like the Spiderman-pointing-gif

i'll go back to my repetitive "oh, i love the agency and autonomy message in bleach", but it's just that... ugh, we know all of the characters have their own growth in this sense, yet ichigo and orihime's journey in this is such a powerfull message on shattering/rejecting imposed constraints that... wow (now, since i'm not a trans person, i hope this doesn't offend anyone, and I'm really sorry if it does).

I think this might be my main HC for them: their powers are so powerful because they're t4t. It's Ichigo owning the duality of Zangetsu and making it its own, it's Orihime creating a new technique and finding means of fighting while staying true to herself... and even more so, it's about they making the most out of themselves and these powers when they're together.

and the fact that they choose to make this tranquil domestic bliss for themselves while being this super powerful defiant beings is such a beautiful "subversion" on what people expect of them/project onto them (no wonder a lotta people can't handle it!) and i love that. Their identity is their identity, no one else's! And GOOD FOR THEM.

onto the fluff, I think they're the most mutual-self-care couple ever, especially around things that they know the other deeply cares about their identities. That being said, hair-care routine is a big thing in the Kurosaki household - we just know Orihime likes to play with his hair while washing it in the tub, and Ichigo blow dries her hair and helps her with ellaborate styles. They're also constantly putting flowers behind each other's ears and no that is not too sappy.
