It was late. Amos had been out practising on the Quidditch field. That was the thing he had missed most over the summer. He would of course practice in the field near his parents house but it wasn't the same. There was something about the stadium here that just made him feel content. Not a feeling that Amos often found. He had stayed longer than he'd planned, just stood under the warm water of the shower thinking about the upcoming Quidditch tryouts. Amos was always happy to find new talent, but those were long days. He knew the team could be better than it was right now and he was determined to make that happen this year.

Amos was walking slowly back to the castle, still deep in thought when he saw a figure up ahead. He hadn't expected to run into anyone at this time of the evening. Instantly he straightened his posture. A smile painted on his face. He cocked his head as he realised who it was. "Sybill?" she wasn't someone Amos had really spoken to that much but she was easily recognisable "how come you're out here so late -- getting into mischief?"

Amos hadn't been at the ball too long before he saw Sybill. Penn was talking to a group of her friends so he excused himself, promising that he would be back shortly. Amos had a tendency to end up getting distracted when they attended events together. Of course, they were here just as friends like always but he wanted to at least try and honour the idea of going to an event like this together and spend most of the evening with her this time.

Amos had been surprised about how well him and Sybill had gotten along and how much he'd enjoyed their conversation. He also found her to be a very calming presence. Something he knew could never be said about himself. He liked to think of himself as a warm type of chaos. "Excuse me ma'am" he said as he approached her "could i possibly have this dance." He gave her one of his winning smiles.

The #Bagmiliars are officially up on the @geekregeneration website so I think that means I can share them! Professor Trelawney did not appreciate being handed a Grim, but at least no one can doubt that she sees it this time, right?
