I was talking about the Once and Future duology tonight and remembered I have some art I did for it! Meet Lam (they/them), the most fabulous non-binary genderfluid knight out there.

And if you haven't read this series (by Cori McCarthy and Amy Rose Capetta) then I would highly recommend it! Summed up in four words?

Queer space king Arthur.

It's amazing. Really. Lots of strong female leads. And really very gay.

It is well written and I was easily drawn back into Amy’s & Cori’s Arthurian universe. Merlin is still my favorite character. I just love his personality and his relationship with Val. I thought it was really entering how past and present collided. There is a really neat twist that evolves almost all of the cast of characters. I was really sad when I turned the last page. I did not want it to end. Once and Future is a duology and I feel like Sword in the Stars , wrapped things up well. Maybe not the prefect bow , it did leave things open for a possible continuation of the series. Which I am totally okay with.
