Nari's Relationship With Jisung

Summary: Closer look at Nari and Jisung's relationship

Mother & Son Duo

In short: just like how baby animals imprint on whoever they see first (usually the mother), when Jisung saw Nari it was an immediate imprint and ever since then, he has looked up to Nari and followed her around

Nari was a bit confused (and concerned) that Jisung would follow her from afar, always watching her when she talked to the older members and practising, etc. during pre-debut days

She thought he had a crush on her or something but realised he simply looked up to her cuz apparently to him, Nari looked like a very 'cool' person despite the slight language barrier they had

Nari also noticed how young he came to the trainee life so it was instinctual for her to watch out for him and look after him - especially when she saw how super shy and reclusive he was to everyone

So you'll see Nari taking care of him - whether it be feeding him, fixing his clothes/hair, giving him life tips or small performance tips, etc.

She is one of his emergency contacts outside of direct family

He looks up to and trusts her a lot - the same level as trusting his mother - so if he ever needs help, he'd go to Nari instantly. Ad cuz of that, he sometimes calls her 'Eomma' by mistake ksjgb

Has been there for him in all of his milestones - even when having solo work, she was there for him, sent him to the airport when he went on 'Why Not?' with Eunhyuck and Gikwang

She was super worried for him when he was going alone with no NCT members looolll

Whenever the Dreamies attended an award show when they were still minors, Nari was always at Jisung's side and would leave with them when it hit 10pm

Nari is the one who mainly updates Jisung's mother on what he's been up to - Nari is quite close with Jisung's mother

Who Do You Call?

Calling Nari is almost a daily occurrence

He always calls her for help or just to talk mainly to ask for help because he's kinda clueless about most things

Times/Places he calls her: while on Vlive/IG live/Weverse live, before Dream goes on stage, when he needs advice for something

You know when Dream was doing that cooking competition on YouTube, and he had to clean the vegetables? He called Nari to see if he needed to use dishwashing soap (she was pretty concerned when he asked her that innocent question)

When he got the wrong order from the cafe during 'Why Not?', he was pretty upset cuz he practised his English a lot with Nari (even called her before he took the order just to be sure) so he felt like he failed Nari especially. He called her again, and rather than be scolded, Nari was comforting him and was rather angry at the cashier

"Let me talk to that lady -" "Noona, I don't think that's necessary..." "Nuh! You said what you wanted so clearly! What she did was not nice, so let me just talk to her and I'll -" "Noona, no!"

Basically, Nari is his go-to for calling - "Hang on, let me call Noona for help" "I think Noona knows about this, let me call her" "Noona would love this! Hang on, let me call her" "I bet you Noona will answer my call than yours"

SM tried to delete the scenes of Jisung calling Nari in most videos HAHAH but they couldn't take away all of the scenes, especially after the fans found out about this habit after a Vlive Jisung once did when he revealed his habit of calling Nari

They found it absolutely cute how he would call her and believe in what she says - cuz Nari never lies to him

Traditions

Jisung must always talk to Nari before any performance

Since trainee days, he must always hear the same words of encouragement from her because for some reason it comforts him a lot and gives him confidence (and he believes it gives him luck)

So sometimes you'll see in the behind-the-scenes of music shows and such, you'll see him either on his phone with air, or she would physically be there and encouraging him - if for some reason she can't do either of those, there is a saved video and audio of her encouraging him (and the Dreamies)

Calls or Texts Goodnight Before Sleeping

This started before they debuted and the Dreamies started living in dorms together

Nari was worried for them (even though Kun lived with them for a while), so she wanted Jisung to text her whenever he's at home and is about to sleep at night

So it became a tradition for them, and if it doesn't happen, then Nari gets concerned and for Jisung it feels like he forgot to do something and feel quite empty

Him contacting her lets her know that he is safe and not somewhere dangerous

When parting ways, they kiss each other on the cheek

When the Dreamies were cute trainee babies, they were much more affectionate to the older members than they are now

So Jisung was very affectionate with Nari when he was a young trainee, and Nari was uwu for him back then and he brought out her soft side to return the sentiment

But as he grew older, he would get embarrassed and wouldn't want to do it (like Mark)

But he can see how it saddens her sometimes, so he would try to do it as subtle as possible if they are in front of fans - for example, he would hug her and then sneak a small kiss to her cheek

Nari still kisses him on the cheek in public, she doesn't care of the people - she raised that boi, so she is going to still express her love to him like a mother would

Fans noticed this tradition, however, and now have fun trying to find the small interactions to coo over (you see on YouTube, 'Jisung + Nari Cute Kissing Moments' sfbgks)

If they're just relaxing with close friends and family, Jisung would be more willing to do it (especially when he drank quite a bit), he's just shy and worried that people might send hate her way

Protective

Just because Nari is like a mother figure to him and always tries to protect him, doesn't mean he doesn't return the sentiment

As years pass, he's grown to want to protect her more

Even pre-debut he wanted to look after her (especially when he saw the pressure she was under by the company and all the hate she was getting as well as the group. He can see she blames herself for the added hate on the group cuz of her presence)

But as years passed, he grew taller and more mature and wanted to protect her more

So whenever they have a schedule together, or they go out together, he always tries to make sure she's okay - like when attending award shows he would be watching out for her from afar and if needed, would be at her side

Would give her his jacket, help her walk when she's in heels, open the door for her, etc.

If they're just chilling in public, Jisung would sometimes stand in front of her protectively or be at her side, one hand on her arm gently or holding her hand

There are also cute moments where he would hold his arm out in front of her when they're about to cross the road just in case she accidentally walks into traffic without checking (which she wouldn't do, but she finds it nice that he would look out for her)

He was also one of the members who helped Nari in the Korean language - like how he helps Chenle, he also helps Nari when she has a few language barriers

And we all know how protective Nari is of her loved ones, so she would do anything for him - even fight people if necessary. She wasn't too happy when he was on 'Dancing High' and went through a lot of stressful things there and spoke up about it

Jisung knows he can rely on her whenever he feels uncomfortable about something, he knows she'll be there ready to bring out her Mama Bear - cuz Jisung lowkey is one of the main reasons she lowered her walls in NCT and showed her care for them

Overall, their relationship is a cute mother and son duo that everyone finds super adorable. Although he's taller than her now, he's still the little boy Nari met back in their trainee days and raised.

Synopsis: A compilation of Yanfei being a good friend. #yanfeibestgirl

Warning: English is not my first language so I apologize for any mistake.

The day she helped Jiwon who was feeling bad about having failed a test.

"Unnie, I'm so dumb, my parents were upset with me and I felt like I was a disappointment to them." Yanfei wasn't fluent in Korean at that time, but she tried to help jiwon in her own way, hugging her and saying. "salanghaeyo." It was one of the few things she knew how to say, but jiwon was happy to see her unnie trying to make her feel better.

The day she helped Luna when she got her period during rehearsal.

She and the members were rehearsing for their new comeback and some of the boys were watching them to support and help them if they needed anything. But during rehearsal Luna ended up getting her period and staining her pants a little, but Yanfei saw what had happened and gave her her sweatshirt to tie around her waist. And then she helped her wash her stained clothes and gave her a tampon, and also hugs if she needed it. :3

The day she helped Xiaojun take care of Bella.

Xiaojun told Yanfei about how Bella has been suffering lately and knowing this left Yanfei heartbroken, and she offered herself to take care of Bella and take her to WayV and NCT U rehearsals so she wouldn't be far from her father Xiaojun. "See Bella, do you think 'Ben Ben' dances well? He's very good, isn't he?" She would sit in the practice rooms with Bella lying on her lap while the boys rehearsed.

Xiaojun felt very grateful for Yanfei, and after they finished the "Universe (Let's Play Ball)" promotions, he took Yanfei for a walk in the park together with Bella, and then took her back to W-Love dorm. "Thank you for doing this for me and Bella, it made me really happy." And then he kissed her cheeks. :3

The day she bought skirts for Chenle to wear.

Yanfei had seen a post where Chenle said she liked being called princess, so she bought some skirts and gave them to him as a gift. And he started laughing, finding her cute for doing this for him. "I bought it for my princess Chenle"

I read a lot of manga... and every panel is intentional there.

One can argue that the hands were cut in there as a break before the last sequence of faces, and that the last shot with Doyoung was just too beautiful not to use. That the four (Mark, Tae and JaeDo) opened the video, so they were the ones to close it. It's very well can be the case. And yet, it's the "unintentional" double reading that draws attention. In the beginning, Doyoung appears writing a letter right before Jaehyun's verse as well. Hyuk's hands and Taeil laying down were used for their own singing parts. The editor could have used a b-roll with a golden fish during Jae's "to you" (golden fish - wish fulfilment), hands sharpening a pencil is not even an action of writing to a loved one on itself, it's an image with a focus on the hands themselves, on the person the hands belong to.

There is also the transitional element (1:42). Tae looks up. Mark looks into the camera. Woo looks at the flower in his hands. They stay contained inside their own narratives (preparing a cake and waiting in anticipation, making a call and dreaming about, enjoying the bouquet and thinking about). Only Jaehyun looks down on Doyoung with an inserted additional frame. Do's hands also had the "memory" effect added (film frames).

Most importantly, it's the kind of gazes of both JaeDo in the very end. Who would put these shots side by side and not notice the two members seem to interact with each other more than with the viewer. This track video didn't require bl fanservice, and all previous transitions were neutral.

I don't know Taemin or his past well. However, what I've seen of him during SuperM, interviews and how he dances with female dancers, he comes off as straight to me. He has/had problems with accepting him looking feminine. He is small in stature and also childish in character. He and Taemin are similar in this regard, people think they are gay due to stereotypes. When one grows up in a patriarchal society, looking and behaving "manly" is expected. "Be a man", "don't be a sassy", "don't cry you are not a girl", etc. In Russia there are fathers who forbid their sons to use bath or handcream because it's not "what men do".

As for the MV. It's art, it's too dangerous to be absolutely transparent about oneself with society, therefore Taemin's own story/trauma is, probably, hidden amidst other stories and parallels. There are several readings, so without his explanation it is hard to say wich one is the correct one (or maybe all of them are).

Kai

- She’s heard Jisung talk about Kai and how much he admired his dancing enough to become shy around him when they first officially met

- she knew EXO before and were comfortable with a few, but Kai was someone she was still sort of awkward with

- You were the most comfortable with Kyungsoo, Kai had heard him mention you before and he wondered how the most awkward member (said lovingly) of EXO could befriend her so easily. He gets it now.

- Kai (or the others) never knew about her health problems until they got out into the same group and the issue was suddenly staring him in the face

- she was worried that he’d think she was holding them all back, but instead, Kai simply slowed down for her like it was the most natural thing

- Calls him Jongin behind the camera

- he has two older sisters and always wondered what it would be like to have a younger one, he doesn’t wonder anymore

- he gets a little camera shy when she takes his picture with her Polaroid camera, but over time, he’s become more confident and will happily pose for whatever you want

- they took a little longer to be comfortable and she was a little afraid to overstep so she usually left him alone

- Mark and Taemin helped them get closer, and believe me, they did

- When Kai asks for some help with English, Lily is the first to volunteer her time

- He gets flustered when she calls him “cute”, it’s something she does with NCT and didn't think twice about doing it with SuperM

- Invited you to his niece's birthday once where you got closer to his family (Kai says they like you, especially his niece)

- Like Baekhyun, he was surprised at the near maternal way she looked after her members, but doesn’t complain and secretly likes it

- “Suho never makes me food. We should replace him with Lily.”

Taemin

- “We've been close for years now. Lily was the first person who truly helped me and asked for nothing in return. I will never forget her kindness.”

- Since you were close with Yeri, the two of you were known to be close to Jonghyun which extended to Shinee in general

- they’ve been close for years. Maybe not in front of the cameras and everything, but they’re close

- Taemin has always been grateful for the way you helped him after Jonghyun’s passing. He never told you, he doesn’t know why he’s never properly thanked you, maybe he will one day

- sometimes he felt like he has to look after you for Jonghyun, keep an eye on you because that’s what he would have wanted. He felt bad when the opposite happened

- After Jonghyun died, Lily was constantly stopping by his place and making sure he was fed. She would comfort him and make sure she wasn’t alone.

- Taemin has many friends, but he was only ever that vulnerable in front of Lily

- You got a lot closer in SuperM, she made him feel comfortable and his weird feelings of guilt eventually faded

- Taemin is Shinee’s baby so it was kind of weird when he suddenly became the second oldest. But age is just a number and he reassures his place as maknae through her constant doting

- when his members go to the military, Lily invites him to hang out a lot. He usually says no because he’s busy, but appreciates the invitations nonetheless

- Always makes sure you know that you’re doing great, doesn’t let you listen to the outside noise

I’m here for Cuddles

: Baekhyun has the sniffles and Zhouxia misses her leader

Her groupmates were many things, talented, strong, pretty, tallish and most of all, dramatic. SuperM was dramatic.

When Baekhyun woke up with a slight sniffle days before their American tour things got slightly out of hand, meaning their leader was currently locked in his room and barricaded in with the use of pool lounge chairs and their empty suitcases.

Things were being passed to him through a system of ways and whilst it had been funny at first, Zhouxia was beginning to feel bad for him. Well aware that his sniffle had been a cause of the lot of them blasting their ac and constantly going between the heated and humid environment outside to their cold rooms her voiced seemed to be lost in the commotion.

“Hyung! Are you still infected?” came the laughter of Taeyong and Taemin, the two found his situation quite funny

“I would be feeling a lot better if you would let me out so I could use the bathroom” came out Baekhyun’s voice, watching from the pool, as she got some sun Zhouxia shook her head.

It had been almost four hours now since they had locked their leader in isolation, as Zhouxia stood making herself and now her extremely drowsy member a snack, she clicked her fingers in front of his face to grab his attention she shifted slightly on her feet

“How long do you think we’re going to keep him in there all alone oppa?” Tilting his head, Kai softly smiled at the girl, it had been a running joke to start and it was all in good nature but he could tell the youngest wasn’t enjoying the joke as much as the rest of them walking around the house.

“We’ll bring him out for dinner, he’s probably just taking a nap or watching a video now anyway” as she slid his food towards him, humming in understanding she walked to the fridge pulling out two bottles of water and a juice.

“I’m going to go take him something to eat, and try and get my suitcase back so I can repack all my clothes that were so nicely left on the floor…”

As Zhouxia walked outside, she smiled watching her three NCT members laughing and joking, doing her best to keep her presence quiet she shuffled to the door connecting the pool to her leaders room.

Knocking, she watched as Baekhyun rolled off the bed and came closer to the door, signalling to be quiet he laughed as he watched her try and balance everything in her hands

“Came to drop off some supplies I see?”

“No, I’m here for cuddles, now let me in before I get tackled by one of your unruly kids” Moving to the side he was quick to close the door and pull the light curtain closed before turning around to watch her

“You know, they won’t like you ruining their fun by sneaking in here” she shrugged her shoulders and opened the juice bottle before handing it to the older

“What they don’t know won’t hurt them, plus it was boring without you oppa”

Baekhyun had grown to notice that Zhouxia was a very affectionate person, she thrived off skinship, but she also wasn’t the type to initiate it unless it was with someone she was immensely comfortable with. But she tried

Sitting in silence as he ate, Zhouxia allowed her mind to wander, thinking about their new comeback/debut, she wondered if this was how Mark always felt having to go through the stress of it all the time.

Baekhyun shifted onto the bed, laying on his back with his eyes closed, he reached his hand to grasp hers, tugging her until she laid down next to him

“I think my makane promised cuddles and I hope she intends to keep that promise” the warmth in his tone made her feel an odd sense of calm and comfort, it was the feeling she got when Kun patted her head when she was sick and it reminded her of late night conversations with Hendery.

Byun Baekhyun felt safe, he felt warm, he felt like home in a sense and it comforted her beyond words.

Snuggling into his chest, she felt him enclose her and hold her tightly, she didn’t know when she fell asleep but it was one of the most calming sleeps she had encountered for a while

BONUS

“Hyung, do you know where Xia is? Yangyang lost something and apparently the only person to know where it could be is her” Kai lifted his gaze towards Ten and shrugged his shoulders slightly in indifference

“She took food to Baekhyun a few hours ago, I thought she would’ve gone to hang out with you guys since she didn’t come back”

Mark came rushing into the living room, with the biggest smile, pulling everyones attention to him

“You would not believe the cutest photo I just took in Baekhyun hyung’s room, you need to come see this”

Before he was able to finish his sentence, footsteps rushed into the hallway, followed by phones clicking and hushed squeals

Aria was tallying up the hours of sleep she had gotten over the last week, counting half hours as full, and twenty minute naps as a sufficient rest. It was reflected into the darkening bags beneath her eyes, the deepening purple stubbornly remaining no matter what eye cream or moisturiser she lathered on.

A couple weeks had passed since she’d slept well, by any extent of the word; between promotions lining up back-to-back with one another, rehearsals and preparations for future promotions, there simply just weren’t enough hours in the day.

And, unfortunately for Aria, when a day needs to be longer - sleep hours are the first to be cut into. Eight hours down to seven, and then five, and three, until she was barely hitting the bed before she was heaving herself up out of it.

127 had been preparing for their new album launch in September for nearly a month and a half when she finally started flagging, body giving out on her.

Realistically, it was awe-inspiring that she’d made it in one go for so long; Mark and Haechan too, given that the three ran on essentially the same schedule for the most part.

The trio had made an effort to bully each other into their respective beds, but more often than not they were bouncing between the dorms, and it was difficult to keep track of each other all the time.

Aria’s tipping point was a Thursday morning, 5:30 a.m.

Her eyes had barely opened to the buzzing ringtone of her alarm beside her ear before they were slamming shut again, unwilling to face the day at such an hour. A groan slipped from her lips, unbidden, as a sharp stab of pain seared through her forehead at the notion of removing herself from her blankets.

It took her a moment to regather the courage to peel her eyes open again, pressing the heel of her hands into her eye sockets in an unsuccessful attempt to hold back the wave of pain that washed over her.

She took deep and steady breaths to get her out of her bedroom and into the common area - where Taeyong was already sat at the kitchen island with an empty bowl in front of him.

He turned at the soft sound of her shuffling in to the room. “Hey, kiddo.” He raised his spoon in a wave.

Finding words escaped her, Aria let out a small mumble of a greeting in lieu of words, sliding onto a stool and dropping her head onto the counter top.

Should she have kept her head up, she would have seen how Taeyong’s smile twisted into a concerned frown - how he leaned forwards with a hand to press it against her temple to check the heat beneath her skin.

As it was, Aria missed both of these things, and so when his cold hand met her forehead she jerked back from the limb violently, subsequently causing a number of problems.

Number One; Taeyong’s concern only grew at her extreme reaction, and a concerned Taeyong was never good for anyone.

Number Two; She tipped backwards far, not accounting for her lethargic reaction time and began to slip off the stool.

Number Three; As a direct result of her lethargic reaction time that she had failed to account for previously - she didn’t have the wherewithal to catch her balance before she was falling in a heap on the floor, sliding out of Taeyong’s line of view with a whimper.

He was on his feet in a second, rounding the edge of the counter in a single movement and dropping to his knees in front of Aria in the next.

“Aria? Aria?” Taeyong gathered her up from the ground, helping her shift to rest her weight against the counter top. “Are you alright?”

“Fi-fine,” Aria coughed out, only moving her head slightly this time when the back of Taeyong’s hand met her forehead.

“Now tell me why I don’t believe that one.” Taeyong raised an eyebrow.

He inhaled sharply at the heat behind her skin, looking down at Aria’s miserable form with a blend of concern and frustration. “You feel like a furnace, baby.”

“M’fine.” Aria insisted, pushing herself up on a shaky hand. “Jus’ wasn’ awake enough to catch the counter.”

“Is that a lie?”

Aria turned at Taeyong’s tone. It was one he rarely took with her nowadays, most commonly used when all the dreamies were younger and more prone to get themselves into mischief that could land them in a spot of bother.

It was the tone of a scolding mother, one that knew the answer but was asking anyway.

It made something burst inside of her - a little ball of frustration that had slowly been accumulating over the last few weeks, bubbling and boiling away under the surface where she had shoved it to make room for more work, work, work. A mountain of stress just waiting for it’s tipping point.

“No.”

Taeyong caught her by the wrist when she attempted to brush past him back into the hallway that connected to her room, spinning her back to face him.

“Don’t you lie to me.” Taeyong’s eyes bored holes into hers.

“M’not!”

“Aria.”

If she had had the strength to, Aria would have exploded into frustration; cruel words and anything to get him to leave her alone to lick her own wounds.

As it was, she was running on fumes and the only thing she had left in her arsenal were tears.

Taeyong followed her down to the ground as she let the first few tears slip from her eyes, curling into his chest as he tucked her head underneath his chin, soothing her quietly.

Crumpled on the floor of the kitchen, Aria felt months of stress pour out of her like a wave she couldn’t hold back. The dam had been broken, and there was nothing to do for it now but to sit it out.

With Taeyong’s hands rubbing comforting circles into the small of her back, Aria quietly cried into his shoulder, apologizing intermittently for the state of his t-shirt.

“It’s just a t-shirt, baby. Nothing that can’t be washed.” Taeyong smiled despite himself.

“But- but it’s gross now, m’sorry-” Aria was tired and she wanted to back to her bed, and goddamnit her head felt like she’d been run over by a truck so sue her; she was going to cry.

She felt Taeyong’s lips gently press against the top of her head. “Nothing that can’t be washed.” He repeated, holding her a little bit tighter.

“I don’t know why you’re being like this! I’m fine!” Aria protested as Yuta bodily hauled her back onto the couch in the middle of the dorm. “You know my fever is gone!”

Dropping her back onto the pile of blankets carefully, Yuta stepped back with a disbelieving look across his face. “I also know that you tipped the thermometer into your water glass to cool it down so it wouldn’t read as high. So no, your fever isn’t gone, you’re just sneaky.”

Despite his words, his tone was teasing, and he reached forwards to tuck Aria into the nest of blankets.

“I’m okay.” She grumbled into the seam of the blanket that Yuta had tucked up to her chin. “There’s nothing wrong with me.”

“Except for the fact that you seem incapable of recognising the fact that you are not a superhuman, and do, in fact, have limits like the rest of us mere mortals.” Yuta settled down in the chair beside her, flicking on the television with a sigh.

Taeyong had bullied Aria into bedrest for nearly two days, citing doctors orders and had practically forced medication down her throat. She’d been assigned a rota of guards, essentially, to ensure that she didn’t try and push herself too far too quickly.

Aria grumbled something unintelligible beneath her breath, but put up no further protests at the treatment - instead settling down to watch the next episode of the drama they had started together.

Within ten minutes of the opening scene, Yuta could hear light snuffles coming from the pile of blankets beside him and when he turned to check on his member, he found her sleeping soundly - cheek smushed into the pillow she was cradling to her chest.

Biting his lip, he pulled out his phone to take a picture of her, before leaning forward to smooth a hand over her hair.

“Idiot.” He whispered, fondness tugging at the corners of his lips.

When he made to get up, however, Aria’s hand shot out from beneath the blankets to snag the back of his hoodie. “Nooo.”

Yuta had to hold back the urge to coo at her, instead settling back in the chair. “No? What’s no, Akari?”

Aria snuffled once, twice, before tugging on his sleeve again. “Don’t leave.”

Offering his hand in place of the green fabric, Yuta watched as she grabbed hold of it - intertwining their fingers. “Never.”

She smiled underneath her mask as she watched her boyfriend film his 'Ghost' performance video for his YouTube channel, pride oozing throughout her body seeing him in his element. Nari loved seeing Taeyong do what he loves.

What she doesn't like, however, is feeling jealousy.

She couldn't help it; he was dancing with two beautiful and talented women. And Nari was very insecure with her dancing (even though she's just as much of an ace as Taeyong). Also, she could see the way one of the female dancers looked at him when they weren't performing, and Nari could see that one of the women fancied Taeyong.

"You did great!" Nari beamed as soon as the director called cut, Taeyong automatically making his way to her after thanking the dancers that performed with him. "I'm so proud of you, honestly."

"Hey," he called to her gently and knowingly, bringing her into a tight hug she melted into instinctively. "You know you're the only one for me, right?"

"I have no idea what you're talking -"

"Ey, I know you just as much as you know me," he tutted, flicking her forehead lightly much to her dismay. "You have no reason to be jealous; you're the only one I want, and you're an amazing dancer already."

"I...I know..." she sighed, leaning her forehead on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her waist comfortably. "It's just my stupid thoughts and insecurities..."

"Do you know why I didn't ask you to participate with me in this performance like before in my 'Lonely' one?"

"Why?"

"I actually want our next performance to be just us two," he admitted shyly. "I'm still working on it, but in my next performance video, I want you to be with me - only us two."

"Yeah?" Nari couldn't help but smile brightly at that - a smile only Taeyong could see by the way her eyes squinted into eye smiles.

"Yeah," he smiled back. "I didn't want you to perform in this one, because there's a better one waiting for you."

"I mean, I could have still joined in this one -"

"And have you distracting me the whole time because of your beauty and talent when trying to perform with others? No way, I want you to distract me when it's only us."

"You're too good for me," she sighed dreamily, pulling him into another hug after pecking his pouty lips. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, very very much...so stop glaring at that one dancer over my shoulder."

"Babe, I can clearly see she has the hots for you and I don't -"

"You're the only one for me, baby, think of only that."

These two were set up on a blind date in early 2017 by Jaehyun, Mingyu and BamBam so they can get them to shut up.

They hit it off together so fast that everyone wasn’t shocked, but they both decided to take it slow and not rush this, so a few months later, they became an official couple and were all in. He knows she likes him but puts her in the friendzone because he thinks he won't be good for her.
