#super mario rpg legend if the 7 stars
Text
In Mario Party 5 we see the 7 Star Spirits who originally show up in Super Paper Mario, basically having a parallel between the Paper and Main worlds. Also, note how there's 7 Star Spirits, like the 7 stars of Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars, or the 7 Star Children.

This is my take on Geno from the SNES classic titled "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars"/(SMRPG). I am planning to make a 11-Part Mario/(Crossover) Fanfic, featuring the Mario characters, not only will it take place in the Mushroom Kingdom, but also in lesser known areas like Sarasaland and Star Haven/Star Road.
In the fanfic, Geno here after many years of not being in the Mushroom Kingdom makes an actual return, not only to see Mario and company, he is tasked to recruit seven unknown characters to become heroes, chosen by the 7-Star Spirits. Geno must recruit the 7 unknown characters in order to stop a great threat that came from another Nintendo series.
This is what Geno looks like in my Mario fanfic, he does have noticable differences from his original look. I gave him torso armor with the symbol of the higher authority on it, I gave him clothing that supposed to be the kind of garbs angels wear.
Star spirits throughout the Mario series always seemed to have angel-like characteristics to them, including Geno. I wanted to keep that angel-like characteristic for Geno, I made his true star spirit form to look more angelic and similar to how The 7 Star- Spirits look from Paper Mario 64.
(I do not own these characters, Geno is the intellectual property of Square Enix and Nintendo. Mario and Iggy Koopa are the intellectual properties of Nintendo.)

⭐️10 Characters, 10 Fandoms, 10 Tags⭐️
I was tagged by @i-hate-liking-batman. I have agonized over this list. It's so hard. But, here it is. In cases where I flip flop on who my favorite character is for a fandom I left them off the list entirely. It was the only way I could keep it at 10 (and also actually not flipflop another dozen times before posting). These aren't in any specific order, that would be too much for me.
1. Stitch - Lilo and Stitch
Anyone who enters my house knows I love Stitch. It's basically a problem at this point.
Tumblr media
2. Kurumi - Steel Angel Kurumi
Am I really gonna admit this? Yeah, yeah, I am. Kurumi is the first character I went all 'she's my waifu' over. She will always have a place on lists like these because of that.
Tumblr media
3. Natsume - Natsume's Book of Friends
I want to burrito him in a blanket and give him all the love and support he deserves.
Tumblr media
4. Link to the Past Link - Legend of Zelda
Out of all the Zelda games LttP Link is my favorite. (Though Tetra is a very close second). He turns into a rabbit! It reflects his true character! He's a baby that is scared all the time and yet he still goes on this epic adventure to save the world and right after losing his uncle, his only family.
Tumblr media
5. Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz - Phineas and Ferb
If poor little meow meow didn't also have objectification I would give that title to this man. But he is impossible to objectify, which is also the way it should be. He is something more pathetic than a little meow meow. I love him. (Perry was a close second on this one.)
Tumblr media
6. Kanna - Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
Can I have one of my own? Dragon powers, bug eating, and all?
Tumblr media
7. The Fool - The Realm of the Elderlings Saga by Robin Hobb
Genderfluid character with a mysterious backstory that has more and more revealed as the books go on? I love so much about The Fool but I would end up writing an essay if I tried. This is the only official art I could find of him and it's...fine.
Tumblr media
8. Viral - Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
If Kurumi was my first waifu then Viral was my first husbando. He just wants a family and he can't ever have one and he wields an oversized butcher's knife, do I really need to say more?
Tumblr media
9. Gwendolyn - Odin Sphere
Just look at her. There is nothing else to explain.
Tumblr media
10. Geno - Mario, specifically from Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars
If you've play Super Mario RPG you already know why he is on this list. If you haven't played Super Mario RPG then you should.
Tumblr media
And that is it. With that, I tag @thenarator, @dragonofelder, @plugnuts, @aerislei, and anyone else who wants to do it. No pressure to anyone I tagged.

This list also includes updates for digital only games, such as the Nintendo Badge Arcade, a game that will both be unobtainable and unplayable (legally) after March. (I may update this list to reflect these games later, but don’t count on it). This also includes updates for games like Animal Crossing
The listed requirements were generally taken from the eshop, (although I did have to take a couple of entries from the Data Management section of my 3DS). This is relevant because the listed requirements on the eshop are generally 1 to 3 blocks higher than their actual size. For example, according to the eshop the Shovel Knight update requires 1378 blocks of storage, but according to the Data Management section of System Settings it only takes up 1376 blocks.
If you are reading this before March 27th and are looking for other eshop exclusives to obtain, this video has some good recommendations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXWz3cSGFe8 . There’s plenty of freeware, but you can also add money to your 3DS account by linking it to a My Nintendo Account and using the shop menu in your Account Settings. You can also add funds via your Switch account (if it’s linked to My Nintendo) or by searching games on Nintendo’s website and buying them there.

The Best Games of 2006 | The 7th Gen is Here
In 2006, with the release of the Wii and PS3, the 7th console generation was officially in full swing. This list ended up having a nice mixture of all the consoles on the market, but 2006 began one of the most pivotal era of video games, and this top 10 is a vivid snapshot of the industry at the time.
As always this will be written as if it was written in December of '06 so any later commentary about these series will not be mentioned. Here we go!
Tumblr media
#10 - Tomb Raider: Legend
The Tomb Raider franchise has always had a reputation of being a fun, yet arduous series. The puzzles were obtuse and frustrating and controlling Lara was a bit of a chore. This year, the team at Crystal Dynamics has finally gotten the formula right. With the transition from generation to generation it's hard to know which franchises will successfully make the jump to new hardware, and Tomb Raider proves Lara Croft has legs (no pun intended).
Tumblr media
#9 - Tetris DS
Tetris is the best puzzle game ever made. It's the puzzle game on which dozens of other puzzle games are built. Tetris has seen a consistent flow of releases over the years and the quality has been shaky, but Tetris DS gets it right in nearly every way. The controls are tight, the gameplay is true, and like its Game Boy predecessors, the DS makes for a great pick-up-and-play Tetris machine. Even the touch-specific game modes are a welcomed detour, but the real star here is the presentation. Most Tetris games have a reverence for the Tetris method, but Tetris DS has a reverence specifically for the original Nintendo-published Tetris titles and that makes all the difference.
Tumblr media
#8 - Resistance: Fall of Man
Ratchet and Clank developers Insomniac tried their hand at an FPS this year and for the most part, hit the jackpot. They created lore and a world engaging enough to explore and sprinkled in just enough Ratchet and Clank gun chaos to make the experience a unique one. Sure it has many of the issues you see with console launch games, but it lays the groundwork for both future Resistance games, and other hard-hitting shooters on PS3.
Tumblr media
#7 - Gears of War
Last year's Resident Evil 4 turned out to be much more influential than I thought. Where RE4 established the over-the-shoulder camera as a viable 3rd person game mechanic, Gears of War has perfected it. Borrowing the fast-paced nature of the best FPSs, the over-the-top gore of a Mortal Kombat, and revolutionizing the cover-based shooter, Gears is a new franchise for a new generation. Sure, it's a bit repetitive at times and by the end, the chest-high-walls gimmick begins to feel flimsy, but like Resistance, this world is hungry for my action.
Tumblr media
#6 - Marvel Ultimate Alliance
As the spiritual successor to the solid X-Men Legends games, Ultimate Alliance didn't have to be amazing to stick the landing. After being handed the keys to nearly the entire Marvel kingdom, Raven Software built an adventure that successfully translates the enormity of the Marvel universe, while still being an engaging Action-RPG. It even acts as a shortcut through the deep lore of the source material. I learned more about B-tier characters like Thor, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, and Captain America than any other medium has been able to teach me thus far.
Tumblr media
#5 - New Super Mario Bros.
Mario has been bouncing around 3D environments since '96's Super Mario 64. Outside of weird esoteric one-offs here and there, Mario hasn't had a proper major 2D adventure since Super Mario World. I don't count Yoshi's Island, that's a Yoshi game. New Super Mario Bros. is a glorious return to form. The simple idea of, let's make one of those old 2D Mario games, but with up-to-date graphics, seems like a no-brainer, and it turns out to be a winning formula.
Tumblr media
#4 - Guitar Hero II
Better in every way, Guitar Hero II improves on its predecessor and proves the fad from last year is still in vogue. The only downside to Guitar Hero II is that it's a PS2 release. Moving the series into the new generation would have unlocked a lot of potential. Luckily Activision has announced it will be hitting Xbox 360 in the Spring, so maybe putting this game on the 2006 list might be a bit premature, but few other games have soaked up as much of my time this year as Guitar Hero II.
Tumblr media
#3 - Okami
When a team takes an established formula (The Legend of Zelda) and attempts to make a stand-out game, they need to come up with something fresh and brilliant to garner respect and attention. With Okami, Clover Studio did just that. Like Shadow of the Colossus last year, Okami is squeezing every bit of power out of the PS2 that it can. Enough like a Zelda game to feel familiar, yet beautifully animated with stunning watercolors to make it stand out, Okami puts an exclamation point on a tried and true formula whose days might be numbered.
Tumblr media
#2 - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Ever since Space World 2000 Nintendo has been on the hook to give us a more mature and realistic Legend of Zelda game. Windwaker, arguably the best game in the series, had its detractors, so Twilight Princess had a lot to live up to. Full of polish, and style, this game is the perfection of the formula established by Ocarina of Time. Its dungeons are the best the series has seen and while the wolf transformation mechanic may seem lazy at first, it pays off in both gameplay and story. Twilight Princess is what we've wanted from the Zelda series for a long time and it definitely lives up to the hype.
Tumblr media
#1 - Wii Sports
Swooping in out of nowhere, Wii Sports is not only the game of the year, it could go down as the most important game of the generation. With the launch of the Wii, Nintendo has reset the market on what it means to be a gamer. It's hands down the most accessible game ever released and is far more than a proof of concept for the Wii platform. Bowling and Tennis alone are worth the price of admission, even if that admission is the cost of a Wii. Nintendo has successfully predicted the market and given us what we didn't know we wanted: motion controls. As with any new tech and launch there's a layer of jank here, but it's worth it to experience the action that has gotten millions of gamers off the couch and swinging their Wii-motes.
Notable Omissions
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - There are a lot of things about Oblivion that make it not a game for me. It's a heavy RPG, with a fantasy setting. Everything about that turns me off.
Bully - I might have enjoyed Bully, but since I hate playing GTA games, I stayed away from it.
Final Fantasy XII - This series has never been on my radar as it is WAY too anime for my liking. It being a heavy RPG doesn't help my interest either.
That's it! Next time we dive into 2007.
Cheers

Games beaten 2023
Oh yeah, the year ended. 2022 | 2021 | 2020 | 2019
New experiences
Pokémon Scarlet A performance disaster. I'm surprised it runs at all on the Switch. That said, it's a great game, and the story is unironically good.
Fire Emblem Engage Great from a gameplay standpoint. Story's kind of bland, and a lot of the character designs still annoy me. Didn't stop me from playing through it twice.
Vampire Survivors Very much a popcorn game. Not a lot of depth once you get the hang of it, but it's still a good hit of dopamine.
Inscryption Starts out great and intriguing, then kind of trips along to the end. The gameplay itself is fun, but I felt the story just got a bit too ambitious. (I guess the word would be)
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom It sure is Breath of the Wild 2. Not saying that's a bad thing for me. I know it is for others. As with Breath of the Wild, I had a great time, but it's not exactly what I want in a Zelda game.
Diablo 4 Fine.
Live A Live (Remaster) I didn't get it. The gameplay felt unintuitive; too simple and overly complicated at the same time. The stories were okay at best, downright frustrating at worst.
Pikmin 4 My game of the year. GOATchie for life.
The Legend of Zelda I've never actually played OG Zelda. It's cool to see the foundation of Zelda games going forward, but man is it obtuse. Kids back then were either extremely lucky, or hyper geniuses if they beat this on their own.
Rygar This was just a personal outing. I played it a long time ago and never beat it. Decided to fix that since it's on Switch Online.
Sea of Stars The gameplay was great, the story was...bleh. Seraï is the best character, Garl is overrated and I'm tired of pretending otherwise.
Revisits
Persona 5 Royal Went back with the intent of doing the confidants I missed. Ended up platinum-ing it. I still think it's disgustingly overrated, but I do appreciate it a little more.
Super Mario RPG (Remaster) Geno gang Geno gang. What a great remaster. I felt like I was 7 all over again.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III Was November's Best-Selling Game In US, Already Second Best Of The Year
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-iii-was-novembers-best-selling-game-in-us-already-second-best-of-the-year/
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III Was November's Best-Selling Game In US, Already Second Best Of The Year
Tumblr media
Video game analyst group Circana has released its November 2023 U.S. Video Game Market Highlights report and in it, the company reveals that, unsurprisingly, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was the best-selling game of the month. It launched on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on November 10 and is already the second best-selling game of 2023, behind Hogwarts Legacy.
Tumblr media
The annual Call of Duty game always sells extremely well – it has taken the top spot of November for five years straight – so today’s results are no surprise. However, what’s new this time around is that Modern Warfare III is now an Xbox-owned game, after Microsoft successfully completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard for a colossal $69 billion. Also, notably, despite Modern Warfare III reviewing poorly – it has a 56 on Metacritic, the lowest of the rebooted Modern Warfare series, and received a 5 out of 10 from Game Informer – it’s still selling very well, per usual.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was the best-selling game of November, instantly becoming the 2nd best-selling game of 2023 year-to-date. It is the 5th consecutive year that a Call of Duty title was November’s best-seller (Red Dead Redemption II ranked 1st in Nov 2018).
— Mat Piscatella (@MatPiscatella) December 13, 2023
However, on both PlayStation and Xbox, it was the second most-played game of the month, behind Fortnite, which is free-to-play, on both platforms.
Here are the top 10 best-selling games of November 2023:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Hogwarts Legacy
Madden NFL 24
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
EA Sports FC 24
Super Mario RPG
Mortal Kombat 1
NBA 2K24
UFC 5
And here are the top 10 best-selling games of 2023, year-to-date:
Hogwarts Legacy
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Madden NFL 24
Diablo IV
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Mortal Kombat 1
Starfield
In terms of platforms, the PlayStation 5 remained the best-selling hardware platform in both unit and dollar sales for November. Xbox Series X/S came in second for both measures. The newly released PlayStation Portal was the fourth best-selling platform of November.
Overall, U.S. consumer spending on video game content, hardware, and accessories fell 7 percent compared to this time last year, to $5.9 billion. Circana executive director Mat Piscatella says this decline was driven by a 24 percent drop in hardware spending, to $964 million, and a 3 percent dip in content, to $4.6 billion.
“All current generation consoles experienced a dougle-digit percentage decline in dollar sales when compared to a year ago, with Nintendo Switch showing the sharpest drop year-on-year,” Piscatella writes on Twitter.
For more, check out October 2023’s best-selling games and then read the September 2023 video game spending results after that. Read Game Informer’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III review and then find out what we thought of Hogwarts Legacy.

A little interesting fact, there are 7 stars in Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars. In Yoshi's Island DS there are 7 star children, I think this is intentional.
