seeing people confused over the new developments in bravern... the timeloop is an example of a bootstrap paradox (think song of storms in OOT, blink from doctor who). bravern is essentially an originless entity because he was created from lewis' memories of bravern, who he eventually became. there was no "original timeline" where bravern didn't exist

I hope I misread one of Cygames producers’ post. Or, is this going to be the end of Book 1? And next week, it will be the start of the new arc? Are we going to see the prequel, the origin of Bravern, the Death Drives and the reason that they are self-destructive fighting with Bravern the ultimate fulfilment of their true wish? So is Smith going to be reborn? The title is ominous.
Episode 8 will be aired today with Bravern. Thanks to the wonderful 3D assistants and assistant director Shigehara-san, it was a great final episode (?)! Please watch it! ( x )
The synopsis for Episode 8, “We shall meet again, Smith.”
Smith is appointed as the captain of the Brave Knights of Bravern’s direct command of TS unit. Smith, who says that Bravern and Isami can overcome any difficulties, made a promise to save the world together to encourage Isami. The multinational task force (ATF) that has regained Japan plans to march to Europe, but just before leaving the port, the whole area of Yokohama is wrapped in a deep fog. Visibility is not good and communication is interrupted, and three new Death Drives attack the isolated constellation.
PS: They should release an HD of this group photo.
PPS: Not sure why, but this time it is Ryota Suzuki’s turn to commit a slip of tongue during their latest radio broadcast when he blurted out “Isami Smith.” Oh well, you just have to listen to the two MCs with their guest Obari Masami talked about “merging,” “deforming” and “Smith’s apologising.”

I'm feeling more sus of Braven post ep 7, even though I still love him! Like Superbia mentioned about them having to fight to get their wishes granted. I might be stretching here but what if this whole war was orchestrated by Braven for him to either fulfill Isami's desires to be a hero, or live out his own hero fantasy!?!??
