-☼ When you first walked in with your caregiver Sun was just doing their job, take the kid from their parents, get the kid checked in, than entertain them until naptime, after you said bye to your caregiver Sun took you into the sea of loud, messy and running children. -☼ You didn't really know what to do when Sun left you alone to go help other kids, so you just went off to play with the toys and be in your own little world, though not acting like the other kids around you, where still a kid, a kid who needed attention and attention was what you where going to have! -☼ Now having children who don't like playing, loud noises, and just can't handle overwhelming places where not uncommon for Sun, so it gave you your space but made sure to check up on you every once and a while, making sure your eating when its snack time, making sure you haven't left the daycare, asking if you wanted to join in with the other kids, ect. Sun was watching over the kids while they ate, it counted all the kids but found one missing, they looked around but couldn't see you anywhere near the eating tables, so they started looking around any corners or places you might be when it found you huddled in a small-ish place with blankets and pillows, you seemed tired and floating in and out of consciousness. "Oh little sunbeam, tired already?" Sun asked as they carefully picked you up and huddled you close in their arms and pulling the blanket over you "it is about naptime isn't it my little sunbeam" Sun said after booping your nose and walking back to the children to tell them its naptime.

-☾ After Sun turned the lights off and all the children went to their sleeping bags Moon looked down and saw you half asleep in their arms, smiling softly it walked towards where the children where sleeping and sat down humming a small lullaby while holding you close to their lap. -☾ If you are one to have nightmares often or bad nightmares they will slowly wake you up and just softly reasure you that your safe in its arms, that no one and nothing can hurt you while they are here.
Moon was keeping a eye on all the children in a protective manner, being a almost second parent to most of the kids they took the role seriously, nothing was going to happen to you or the others. It felt movement in its arms and when it looked down and saw you looking up at them with grabby hands it softly smiled and held you so you where sitting on its leg. "Whats wrong little star? shouldn't a little star like you be sleeping?" Moon asks softly as to not wake up the other children. You looked up at them and whispered "puppet!" at first it took Moon a second before they smiled and patted your head "a puppet show? well if my little star wishes who am I to say no" Moon than placed you on the floor and went to get a flashflight. After a while other kids woke up to the puppet show while you sat in their lap and watched with amazment at the puppet show. Soon all the kids woke up, some watching the show and others playing around where Moon can see them, after a while the puppet show finished and Moon asked you to sit still while it goes to grab something and to put the flashlight back. When it came back it knelt down and showed two plushies, one of them and the other of Sun "Sun and I thought you would like them, so whenever your not here you have something to play with and to cuddle with when you sleep" Moon smiled softly as you grabbed the plushies and hugged them "thank!" they patted you on the head and went to turn the lights back on.

Broken Bells Pt 1
Platonic Sun & Moon x Child Reader
Warning: This book deals with many dark themes. Each chapter will be appropriately labeled with said themes when they show up. If I miss any obvious ones, feel free to tell me.
Walking on tightropes can be a difficult task, especially for a child. It's near impossible to stay on long and the hard ground below does little more than leave bruises and broken souls. So the only choice is to hang on where they are. To move foward is to risk the fall, to move backward is to face the disapointed crowd. So the child hangs, never moving, never falling, never going anywhere.
But along will come an expert in the art of the tight rope. With balance and grace they walk, not unaware of the deadly mistake a single slip could cause, but numb to the pain shown in old scars. They aren't free of the rope, only free to walk it. And when they reach the fearful child, one who knew too well of the consequences of any move made, they'd be left with a choice. They could help the child, holding their hand to guide them through the balance of the act...
Or they could stop the show all together
-
In the artificial brightness of the Fazbears top of the line Protective cylinder stood a woman at the stunning height of 'just taller than a bar stool' (As described by her most creative of co-workers) with her hand's elbow deep in probably one of the most advanced pieces of machinery she ever had the delight of working on. That is if by delight you mean the agony of a night spent trying to fix the absolute atrocious disorganization of whoever formerly worked on said machine.
If her sturdily built body didn't show her hard work her calloused hands surely did. Covered in scars from electrical burns and sharp metal, her occupation wasn't too hard to guess with even just a glance at her. Her dark brown hair was a tied-up mess that had once been a tight bun on her head but now continued to annoy her with the dismantling pieces that constantly fell onto her face. She would have brushed it away if it weren't for her oil-covered hands that never got even remotely clean no matter how many times she wiped them onto the overalls. It didn't help that she had to tie said overalls around her waist when the air conditioning had been suddenly clogged throughout the night.
Her concentrated amber eyes stared with an intensity that highly contrasted with her commonly neutral look, her growing frustration continuing to build in her system. However with coffee and the thought that she would be well paid for her efforts, she was able to make it through the pain of the spaghetti wires strung in stupid places with at least a little of her sanity remaining. With her checkout hour growing every so close, she hurridly finished those final few touch-ups
"That should do it" The woman, known only by the name of Olly, mumbled in a matter-of-fact tone before the mechanical clicks of robot life began to echo around the room. A few moments later the celestial-themed jester turned to her before tilting his head slightly, as if to mimic confusion.
"All better?" He asked, his voice as upbeat and energetic as always.
"Yep. Should be all. I'm gonna go get Sam" Olly relayed the info, her statements as brief and harsh as they had been since first meeting her. Though throughout the night the twins had learned she never really meant to come off that way. It sort of came with the field when you worked alone most of the time. So they ignored her tone and Sun instead clasped his hands together as the rays surrounding his circular face quickly spun around his head, happy to finally be out of the confining room. However, despite this outward show of happiness, a small voice spoke to Sun.
'Sam? He's here?' Moon noted. His voice, if not for the lack of moveable facial features, would have sent a twitch to the smile on Sun's face. However, the woman remained blissfully ignorant as she went to fetch the man that would escort the two out of parts and service and to their rightfully assigned area. They were barely left alone for a moment when she arrived back with the man the two felt oh so weary of.
At the whopping height of 'holy shit' stood a man with a perminate downward brow, his mouth snarled with surrounding wrinkles that, if not for his graying hair, would have been attributed to his permanently pissed off look. What he had in height he surely didn't lose in width, his naturally wide shoulders showing that even without any purposely gained strength he would still be able to take on a good few people in sheer size alone. His hair was unkempt and short accompanied by a full beard that, even in its graying state, still mostly held onto its void black color. His deep, almost black-brown eyes were enough to send most people running, which was probably why he was more commonly found on the night shift. All of this would have been a delightful description for a security guard, which frankly with a bit of training he'd likely excell in, though his actual job was much different. In an unfortunate turn of events, at least from the Jesters' point of view, he was the one who had created Sun and Moons ai in the first place.
Without a word he gestured for Sun to follow, an action that immediately got the solar star up and moving. With clicks of Sam’s shoes and Sun's metal parts, the two quietly began to make their way down the halls, the place as empty as it had been when Sun had first been escorted down here.
"Guessin' Olly got ya all up'n ready for today?" Sam spoke up, his voice deep enough to where laying your hand on his chest while he talked would leave a tingling sensation. Along with it's deep sound his voice also held a heavy southern accent, showing a bit of where he came from.
"Of course! I'm feeling better than ever!" Sun happily replied, his torso moving in a full circle around himself even though his feet remained walking forward.
"Good. Was worried she couldn't handle it" he replied, a light infliction of an impressed tone shone in his voice a moment, though Sun knew it would hardly last.
"Oh well she was just amazing! Better than the other ones by far! She didn't yell at us even one time!" Sun enthusiastically continued, his praise as genuine as it could be.
As much as Sun didn't quite like the unexcitable way Sam was and how he often scared the two of them with just his presence alone, Sam was still one of the very few people that ever really cared to listen when either him or Moon complained about something. Most others thought of them as just the metal they were in, merely machines that did as told without question. And to be fair that's all they were.
Just machines
For a moment his eyes drifted to Sun, though even attempting to read what was going on in Sam's head was a lost cause that neither Sun nor Moon attempted to do anymore. It wasn't long before he turned back to where he was walking, his hands moving to pull slightly on his open jacket.
"Yeah well that's good" Was all he spoke back. The rest of the walk was silent, as it typically ended up being when they walked together. Only a few halls later they finally made it to the Jesters’ door which, with the wave of a hand, Sam gestured for him to enter. Without much hesitance Sun entered the room, the door soon shutting behind him as he walked down the last hall of this little trip. A hall that would have been completely silent if not for Sun's inability to remain quiet for longer than five minutes.
"Do you think there will be any new kiddos today?" Sun asked out of the blue, though the thought had plagued him for more than a few days at this point.
'Maybe, who knows. We could lose another one-'
"Moony!" Sun interjected, his tone full of nothing but offended surprise.
'I'm being realistic-'
"You're being rude" Sun once again cut him off, his once bouncing enthusiasm suddenly squashed by Moon's negativity as he moved to get ready for the new day. Tense silence remained for a few moments as the area around them was put in order. Small pieces of loose paper drawings were properly put up, the lights around the room double-checked by the bot along with him cleaning up some of the broken toys he had collected from the daycare the night before. And during these tasks Sun hummed and sang but made absolutely no effort to continue talking, not granting him so much as an acknowledgment despite Moon's attempt to cheer him up. Soon, with no other option, a robotic sigh sounded in Sun's head, signifying Moon's defeat.
'But maybe there might be a new kid' Moon admitted, the words sending Sun back into his joyful mood almost immediately.
"And maybe they'll be small and cute! Or- Or maybe fun! What if they're fun Moon?! Oh I would love to see another little ball of energy! Or maybe they like art! What if we get a little artist Moon? I would love a sweet one too! A cute new little friend that would love my puppet shows! Oooooo they'll be so perfect, I just know it!" Sun rambled his pent-up thoughts, his eagerness for a new play buddy palpable. Moon decided not to rain on his parade more than he already had, even though Sun's assumptions made him a little weary.
He just hoped he wouldn't be too disappointed.
-
"What do you mean you can't get here?! You can't just not show up! What the FUCK do I even pay you for huh?!" A muffled voice yelled from the other room but you paid almost no attention to it. You were more focused on reaching the bread on the top shelf of the cabinets. You had already made yourself a nice spot standing on top of the counter, though those last few bits of space were always the hardest.
"I don't care! I pay you to do the simple fucking job of watching a goddamn kid and you can't even do that?! I have a job you know! What the fuck am I supposed to do??" You outstretched your hand just that tiny bit farther, your feet now on their very tippy toes. With one last small little shimmy you were finally able to pull the bread just far enough for you to grab.
"I know you’re sick, you’ve said that five times!" with a few careful movements you soon slid yourself off the counter, bread in hand. You slightly slipped towards the end, but you had grown used to catching yourself, making the fall to the ground not as hard as it would have been. After a moment you stood back up and, now safely back on earth, you placed the bread on the counter, ignoring the mild pain after landing on your legs.
"Look, I don't have time for this! I have work in two hours I- No I don't have anyone else that's why I fucking pay you!" You then quickly walked to the fridge, looking around a moment before grabbing the jelly and placing it on the counter. You went to look in the drawer for a butter knife, but found that none were in there. A quick glance towards the sink made it clear why.
"I’m being unreasonable??? You're calling me an hour before you’re supposed to show up saying you can't be here and I’M being unreasonable?!?!?" You went over and looked into the sink before pulling out the cleanest one you could find, running it under the tap until at least most of what was on it was gone, and then returned to the bread and jelly.
"Do you understand the shit I have to go through to get that kid a fucking babysitter?! How many days it takes to get anyone even remotely interested in taking care of- do NOT cut me off right now" you placed two pieces of bread on the counter before grabbing the jelly and trying your best to open it. It didn't budge for a while but you were able to open it, though now without leaving a red mark on your hand. Dipping the butter knife into the jelly you then went to try and spread it onto the bread.
"Oh for the love of-...that bitch hung up on me" The muffled yelling seemed to end just as you finished sloppily spreading the jelly onto the bread. You closed the two messy pieces together when the unmistakable heavy footsteps of your mother started to enter your awareness. However, your hunger surpassed any initial suspicion that you might have done something wrong, so you instead went to grab the sandwich, hoping that her feet would just walk passed. When you heard them step into the room you became very aware that this was not going to happen.
Before you could even turn around she had a tight grip on your wrist, the shock causing you to drop the sandwich you just made. Your feet moved before your brain could register much, your mother not slowing down even slightly as she had to drag you to her pace, your feet just barely keeping your face from plummeting towards the ground. This continued for a couple seconds before the hot summer air hit your skin, the earthy smell of wet grass seeping into your nose. It was hardly a second later before she finally stopped right next to her car. She harshly opened the door, her anger showing in every movement.
"Get in" she demanded more than asked and, knowing better than to argue, you pulled yourself into the car, narrowly dodging it as she shut it behind you. Before you even fully sat up she had thrown herself into the driver's seat and started the car. The speed in which she backed out sent you face-first into her seat, though she pulled away just as fast, sending you back into yours. Once the car was moving you began the desperate reach along with the long struggle of your seatbelt. It would take a few attempts, but you did somehow manage it.
-
Noise, noise, so much noise. There were people and bright lights and loud games and louder speakers. You had never been in a such a crowded space before, let alone one where it seemed every time you turned your head there were a hundred new people. You felt dread swell in your stomach as your hand tightly gripped onto your mother's, the chaos of it all utterly overwhelming.
You felt like falling, like crumbling into a ball and hoping for the quiet again. But you remained standing, if to not draw attention to yourself then because of the fear that it would upset your already greatly angered mother. So you stood even as every one of your senses was overloaded with a new sensation. You hoped that it would be over soon. This couldn't be normal, there shouldn't ever be so many people in one place. You were sure that there had to be a reason. Maybe something bad happened? Like a fire or something. Or maybe the world was ending.
That's what this felt like, the end of the world. These must be all the people that exist and this must be the only safe place. That must be why-
"Hi, hello. I was looking to book my kid for the daycare please?" You heard your mother speak up, something that you quickly fixed your mind towards. You found comfort in her voice. It was familiar in a world of strange unexplainable oddities.
"Of course. Have they been booked here before?"
"No, It's their first time"
"Okay then, I'll just need you to sign these forms for us, it should only take a few moments" The stranger spoke before handing over said papers. Your mom gave a quiet sigh, moving to the side to fill out the forms. As the stranger had stated, it only took a few moments. Once it was done your mother returned to the window.
"Alrighty! Any scheduled pick-up time?" The stranger asked as they took the papers before handing them to someone else.
"What's the latest they can stay?"
"About 10pm"
"I'll pick them up then" She answered, your confusion only continuing to grow.
"Well then you're all settled. Ms. Addy will take them up to the daycare. She is just up to the left. There should be a sign"
"Thank you" She ended with a quick nod before swiftly moving to where she was told. It became quickly apparent who Ms. Addy was when the large group of small kids came into view. Though with the continued assault of your senses you could hardly understand anything that was happening at this point.
"Hi um, Ms. Addy?" Your mother's voice pleasantly sang.
A young lady no older than twenty-two turned her head at the call of her name. Her eyes were a shimmering bright blue that greatly contrasted with the fiery red hair she had put into tight braids falling just below the length of her shoulders. She was taller than most other people but likely only by a few inches. She was kitted out in a bright yellow shirt covered with a large sun symbol in the middle tucked into an incredibly puffy-looking pair of blueish-purple pants covered in little stars. Her face was beautifully made up with face paint as one eye held bright yellow and subtle oranges with a little white cloud in the corner while the other held soft blues and purples with glitter and small stars. However, her most defining feature was her bright smile. The expression looked so natural on her face that to imagine it without it was a little hard to do. And that smile only grew when she realized why her name had been called.
"Hello! Are you here to drop off your little sunshine with us?" She spoke, her voice high pitched and energetic, a quality that could have been guessed from her excited stare upon seeing the two of you.
"Yep! Have fun!" was all your mother spoke before letting go of your hand and quickly walking off. She walked off so quickly in fact that you hardly had a moment to stop her. So instead you turned back to the strange lady you had been left with, your eyes clearly showing your confused and somewhat fearful state.
Ms. Addy stared off in the direction your mother had gone for a moment, her eyebrows twisted into slight confusion at the briefness of the meeting and the strangeness of the woman's quick speed. However, her attention quickly fell back to you, her heart slightly turning at the sight of such a lost looking child.
"Hey sweetheart! It's nice to meet you! I'm Ms. Addy, what’s your name?" She asked with a sweetened tone, a twinge of concern found on her face. You stared at her for a moment, entirely unsure how you were supposed to handle this situation. After a moment you decided, or more so defaulted to, answering her.
"Y/n" you quietly replied with almost a question in your voice. Her smile brightened as she outstretched her hand to you. Slowly you took her hand, hoping that maybe she knew what was going on.
"Well welcome Y/n! We're gonna have so much fun together! Right kids!" she turned over her shoulder to address the group of small children, almost all of which screamed out in excitement. You went to cover your ears, but having one hand already taken you could only cover one. You felt your discomfort only continue to spike in this increasingly strange situation.

I saw you wanted more Moondrop requests, so I came up with one! Maybe Moondrop feeling down because he scared a child on accident, and the reader has to cheer him up? Love your works!! Keep it up! <3
Of course! These are requests from like last year that I’m just now getting to/finding, and I’ve been pretty unmotivated lately so I’ll do my best to get them all done! So sorry it took me so long to reach you!

Moondrop x gn! Reader! Platonic!
Not proofread very well 💀☝🏻
———————————————————————
There he was again, in the corner looking miserable.
It had started as a pretty normal day. Customers coming in and out, dropping the little ones off at the daycare like always. Your parents included.
At this time in the story, moondrop had already become…well..a “problem.”
Countless complaints had began to pile up and he was facing being completely disassembled if it continued. This already had moon on edge and it was only making him more and more agitated. Which resulted in more scared children and less visitors.
You being a child yourself, did get startled by him now and then, but you knew he wasn’t a villain like the rest of them believed he was. He loved them. Every single one of them.
The only problem was…despite caring for them deeply, he didn’t know how to be patient.
The lights were out and all the children had chosen a spot on the floor to nap on, including you. Most of them already sleeping if not incredibly close to it.
Moon was walking around the room. Weaving through the children at this time, looking down and ensuring that they were indeed getting the rest they needed, when disaster struck.
He didn’t mean to scare her, all he wanted was to hold her that was all. Despite his innocent intentions the little girl let out a loud scream, kicking and thrashing to get out of his arms as if the metal they were made out of burnt her delicate skin.
“No! Sunny! I want M-Mr.Sunny! Go away! Go away!!” She cried, tears rushing down her cheeks as the others, now awake due to the commotion, rushed to her side and quickly scattered to get away from the robot she perceived as a threat.
Everyone but you.
Despite it being dark, you could still see the growing sadness in the robots glowing red eyes. It made your heart hurt in a way you had never felt before. You didn’t like it when the people you loved felt down, it made you feel down too and you never wanted a friend to feel sad on their own.
You sat still on the soft floor, watching it all go down while your PJ’s laid lose against your skin, providing warmth along with the blanket you currently had draped over your little shoulders.
“Why is everyone running away from him?”
“Why is Sarah crying?”
“All he did was give her a hug…What’s wrong with hugs?”
“All of this doesn’t make sense” you thought as you watched your fellow playmates make a B-line for the door, pulling it open with the strength they could muster and hurrying to escape the ‘threat’.
Soon your attention was brought back to your robotic friend as you heard him stand up from his previous sitting position and slowly make his way towards the ball-pit. Crossing over the sea of plastic balls until he eventually disappeared behind the curtain on the other side.
The room was now completely empty, not another child except you in sight as you sat there completely dumbfounded. You were understandably confused as to what just happened, your tired mind still trying to catch up as you wobbled to your feet and began walking in the direction moon had just went.
It was dark, you were confused, and you needed somebody.
Eventually managing to climb out of the ball-pit, you made it to the other side. Crawling across the squishy, padded floor until you got back on your feet, (favorite color) blanket dragging behind you.
This brings us back to the present. Moondrop in the corner, looking miserable and disheveled meanwhile you stood just behind him with crazy bed head hair and tired eyes.
It took you a while to muster up the courage to speak, but when you did, it seemed to surprise him.
“Mr.Moon…? Why did everyone go away..?”
Hearing your tiny voice come out of no where made him jump. He didn’t even know you were there, let alone any child had stayed behind after the rest of them made a run for it.
What were you still doing here? Why didn’t you run away with the others? Aren’t you scared of him? He wouldn’t know until he said something.
“I don’t know.” He said, turning back to face the corner and crossing his arms over his chest, resting his forehead against the fabric of his pants as he placed his head on his knees.
“Why don’t you run along with the others..? You’ll be safer away from me anyway…” Whispered moon, sadness evident in his voice as he twirled a loose thread between the tips of his metal fingers. “Just go away.”
“But I don’t wanna go away…” you whispered, eyes downcast and meeting the floor, hands nervously fiddling with the fabric of your blanket.
“Well why not?” He said through gritted teeth, feeling the anger rise in his chest again as the whole situation boiled over in his mind once more. “Nobody likes me anyway…” he whispered, not having meant for you to hear it, but you did anyway.
You flinched. “But..”you whimpered, trying not to cry at his harsh tone, reminding yourself that he was sad and sometimes sad people say the wrong thing.
“..I like you..”
…what?
Those three little words sent him spiraling as soon as his robotic brain processed them. You..liked him..? You weren’t…terrified of him like the others?
He didn’t know what to say to you. What could he say? You had followed him here to ask him something and he was rude to you….The only one who decided to stay when the rest of them ran.
“You what..?” He said, slowly unfolding from himself and turning to face you as you stood a couple feet away, fighting back tears as you held yourself.
“..i-I like you..” you repeated, sniffling quietly as tears began to stream down your cheeks, immediately rushing over and latching onto his torso for comfort as you buried your face in his chest.
You always heard hugs make you feel better when you’re sad, and by the looks of it you both needed one right about now.
As you cuddled in close, moon didn’t know what to do with himself. Never in the many years he had worked here had he ever encountered a child like you.
There has never been a child that truly loved and cared for him like you did, your feelings being made clear by how close you were to him as his mind rambled on.
In all honesty, he had been watching you for a while now. Ever since you began coming to the daycare he had payed attention to you.
You never fought with the other children, you always seemed to want and play by yourself. Never once did you complain about nap time or shake and cry in fear like the others did.
In fact..you didn’t seem to mind his presence at all.
He was soon pulled out of his mindless worrying as you scooted in closer, curling up against his chest and covering yourself in your blanket, being kind and considerate enough to attempt to share your blanket with him despite his inability to be affected by the cold.
Slowly he began to wrap his arms around you, being extra slow and careful with you incase he scared you like he did the others…or if you were just a dream…something he made up in his sad, lonely imagination.
All his doubt immediately washed away once he felt the warmth of your skin against the chill of his, your weight comforting him in a way nothing ever had before.
He couldn’t believe it...He was holding a child..a child he loved and cared about, and you weren’t running away from him, or freezing up in fear.
For the first time ever….someone was willingly being held by the tall ‘monster’.
You two sat in comfortable silence for what seemed like hours before your eyes began to droop, sleep settling into your senses as well as the comfort of being close to him as he gently ran his hand up and down your back.
“Yeah…I like you too…”

New Parts- The Wedding 7
The next morning the three of you woke up with excitement bubbling in your chests. Sun helped you pack for your three day honeymoon and Moon fixed breakfast. A fruit salad with yogurt. Yummy. A knock on the door to the theater draws your attention.
You call out "Come in!"
An HR representative walks into the room. He looks friendly. You are both immensely surprised and suspicious at the same time.
He smiles warmly at you "Hello Y/n. I'm here to talk about your honeymoon! We know it must be an exciting time for you!"
You nod "I'm actually surprised the company is letting Sun and Moon out of the Plex."
He nods "Well here's the thing. You aren't actually leaving." You frown deeply and he hold a hand up "Now hear me out! We are going to be opening a camp ground behind the plex. Your job is to test it out and make any suggestions. We want the three of you to spend any free time not working outside. Eventually we will offer outdoor attractions." He puts his hands on his hips "Several new animatronics are being created to take care of our guests."
You nod slowly "So will any animatronic be allowed outside?"
He nods "Yes! For things like parties or special events! Sun and Moon will even be allowed to take children outside for activities!"
You squint "This feels too good to be true."
He grins "Your job will be to acclimate Sun and Moon to the outside. Failure to do so will result in your termination. Now, we don't expect this on your honeymoon. Consider that a gift. Have fun out there! A staff bot will take you to your accommodations! OH and Moon? We know about your special project."
With out letting you speak he leaves. You turn to Moon. His mouth hangs open slightly. He looks shook.
You put a gentle hand on his shoulder "Are you ok?"
Moon mutters "How. How did they know. I hid it! I hid it so well! HOW?"
You purse your lips "Should I be worried?"
Moon finally looks at you "I...." He glances behind you to Sun "Come with me."
Moon takes you out of the daycare and into the maintenance tunnels. Down stairs and twisting winding hallways. Finally you are led to the most cobweb infested bug stricken tunnel you have ever seen in your life. Moon holds a rusted door so crap it looks like it could turn to dust at any moment.
Inside the room is a body. Your body. At least it looks like your body if it were an animatronic person. You slowly walk up to the table it lays on. It's wearing your clothes right down to your shoes. You slowly turn to Moon wanting an explanation you already know some of the answer to thanks to Bonnie.
Moon looks melancholy "We... I didn't want to live without you. I found a book-"
You raise a hand "I know about the book. What I want to know about is that." You point to the body.
Moon sighs "I have been working on it while you sleep. It functions like we do but one soul. It's empty right now. All we have to do is cast the magic and put your soul into the new body. We won't force you to choose this option."
You look down at the robo version of you "What will you do with this fleshy form?"
Moon gives you a serious look "Take it down to the deepest part of this place and bury it. A place deeper than this room."
You lean on the table "And the other option?"
Sun steps forward "We shut ourselves down when you die."
You lean back "The hell?! Are you sure about that? Shutting down because I'm-"
Sun takes you by the arms with a serious look "More sure than I have ever been in my life."
You take a breath "Ok."
Moon turns to you "Ok?"
You nod slowly "Ok."
Sun pulls you into a hug "We can be together for ever!"
Moon picks a large, or at least what used to be large, book with one page remaining "Are you ready?"
You recoil "Wait now?! Oh... I didn't think you would want it to be so soon...."
Sun helps you lay down on the table as Moon starts the spell.
Moon puts his hand on your chest "Ada Due Damballa, Leveu Mercier DePou Shiou, Sacouse Entiene LeDevou DeMobocheu, Adaleu Bwaseu Damballa."
You feel funny. A bright flash of light blinds your vision and everything goes dark.

Chapter One: Over Yet
We can go farther, beyond the end.
Summary:
You and Spencer broke up more than four years ago. Since then, he has tried his best to forget about you. He has pushed all of his feelings down - locked them away into a little box that he never touches.
That is, until he sees your name on a list of potential victims being stalked and killed by a man who kills single mothers. (And he quickly realizes that your son could be his.)

Detailed warnings and author's notes below the cut.
Warnings: general warnings for a Criminal Minds episode - mentions of murder/killing, somewhat graphic descriptions of killing, somewhat graphic descriptions of dead bodies, the underlying misogyny that comes with a man killing women, mentions of children being orphaned due to their mothers being killed (though there is no mentions of other living family members taking care of those children - you can imaging that they still have nice families to take care of them if you want, I didn’t fill in that detail), mentions of children being in proximity of a serial killer; exes to lovers - the reader and Spencer broke up and the reason why will be revealed later; mentions of pregnancy/mentions of the reader having a child; mentions of sex that resulted in a child/pregnancy (there is no detailed sex scenes/detailed smut in this chapter, but there will be in other chapters); mentions of JJ x Will; the reader’s looks are described as vaguely as possible; passing mention of incest (in the context of a historical figure); all statements that Spencer makes toward the end of this chapter were heavily researched and are factual; I think that’s about it?
A/N: The reader and Spencer originally dated around Season 1/Season 2 - I state at some point during the fic that they dated for 3 years before breaking up, so they started dating when he was very early Season 1 baby Spence (or even before Season 1) and they broke up around Season 2. So technically this fic takes place around Season 6 - but because I didn't want to distract from the plot, I didn't mention any of the stuff going on with Emily or any of those major canon plot points, and I am using pictures of later versions of Spencer just because that's who I was picturing in my head while writing this. But that's how the math works out. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the fic!! This chapter is more of an introduction before we really get into the meat of things, but I still hope that you guys like it.
...
The team had been in Portland for three days.
No leads, a confusing, inconsistent profile - huge pieces missing that would likely give them the real answers.
A patient killer with an extended timeline who likely wouldn’t kill again for months - leaving them chasing their tails, looking for answers.
“Okay, so, let’s take a step back.” Hotch sighed. “What do we know so far?”
He leaned against a nearby table, looking at everyone with the hope of reassessing the case from a different angle. The hope of talking it out to get some answers.
Another woman’s body had been found just before they arrived, and that would mean that the UnSub would be out hunting again soon. This was both good and bad.
Good, because the UnSub clearly had to spend a lot of time stalking his victims - he knew a lot of details of their lives, and he had spent a lot of time developing an intimate fantasy of being a part of their family in his mind. So he wouldn’t be killing again the next day. No woman was in immediate danger. It gave the team more time to find viable suspects.
Bad because they had no physical evidence, no good leads. And thus far, the profile was leading them nowhere. It felt incomplete.
They could find no real connections between the victims - their gyms, their banks, their childcare, their grocery stores. Somehow, the victims didn’t seem to have any crossover in their lives. There was no real way to say how the UnSub had met them. And someone like this - he would have interacted with them at least once in order to become obsessed and stalk them to this degree.
“Five women dead within the last three years.” Prentiss announced, starting to round up the facts that the team knew for certain. “All of them mothers, all with children under the age of five. All within the same ten square mile radius of Oregon, around Portland’s suburban neighborhoods.”
She slumped back into her chair with a tired huff, and then continued.
“The UnSub breaks into their homes through a backdoor or a back window, and somehow goes undetected in such an upscale neighborhood.” She sighed. “He kills the mothers, but he leaves their children alive. And then he calls 9-1-1 to report the death as a case of child neglect.”
“So he was likely neglected by his own mother in his childhood.” Morgan easily theorized.
“All of the victims upper-middle class, single mothers to one child with good jobs. All of them are of the same physical type.” Rossi added on. “They’re the same race, they have the hair color, they’re the same body type - all in their late twenties to early thirties. So the UnSub definitely has a type. He’s most definitely recreating a fantasy of some kind - perhaps taking out revenge on his own mother, but protecting himself. Which is why he never hurts the children.”
“Yeah, but the children are different.” Morgan replied. “Sometimes boys, sometimes girls. Some of them are biracial - he doesn’t look for a specific type in the father. He doesn’t necessarily need to see himself in the children.”
Then, as another thought occurred to him, Morgan continued on:
“Plus, the children’s ages vary from barely a year old all the way up to five - if he was looking to seek revenge on his mother, looking to protect a younger version of himself, then he would have locked in on a critical event that he needs to protect himself from. The age of the children would be more consistent, at least, because he would be looking to protect himself as he hits the age that he was most traumatized by a specific event.”
“That’s good.” Hotch nodded. “Then we know that it’s more about the mothers. He hates women at his core. Protecting the children is just a byproduct of his obsession over these women.”
“But we still have no clue how these women could be connected or how they met the UnSub.” Morgan replied, jaw stiff with frustration.
“Focus on what we do know.” Hotch reminded him.
“All of the women were killed via stabbing. They all had over a dozen stab wounds to their stomachs and genital areas.” Rossi replied. “So, he is an aggressive sexual sadist.”
“But if he hates women so much, why spend so much time in the house?” Morgan argued gently. “Every single one of these scenes has evidence that the UnSub spent hours - possibly up to a day in the house before he killed them. He cooked dinner, set the table, and made the women eat it before he killed them. Including a second place setting for a child. Some of the kids even said that ‘the scary man’ tucked them into bed and read them a story.”
He held up one of the crime scene photos that depicted the scene of the family’s place settings - a haunting scene of plates not cleaned up from dinner, with a flower vase sitting in the middle of the table with a few white flowers wilting inside of it.
“He’s right - why bother to show them the kindness of a last meal if he shows so much aggression toward them during the killing?” Prentiss added on.
“It’s a routine.” Hotch said, the thought suddenly occurring to him. “It’s likely that he chooses single mothers because he gets to play the role of the father. With the real father figure absent from the picture, it makes it easier for him to impose himself into that role. At least for a temporary amount of time.”
“It is strange.” Reid added on, clearly swimming in thought. “It’s almost like he’s courting them? Sending them gifts, showing what a good father he could be. Each of the women were sent white carnations sometime in the days before they were killed, and after the killing, he lays the flowers around their head in a halo-like fashion. It is said that carnations represent motherhood, and the white shade could depict an angelic innocence that he’s projecting onto these women.”
“So he views these women as angelic figures, yet he kills them so brutally?” Prentiss scoffed. “It just doesn’t add up.”
“Maybe he views the killing itself as a type of purification.” Reid theorized. “It’s not uncommon for killers to emotionally fetishize dead bodies and consider them more ‘pure’ than their living counterparts.”
Prentiss visibly cringed at this.
“Wait.” JJ said, looking at one of the crime scene photos with a sharp line pulling her brows together.
Everyone looked to her, waiting for her to finish this thought.
“I don’t think that the mothers were the only ones sent gifts.”
She held up the photo, showing a picture of a colorful child’s play mat in the living room. Everyone stared at the photo in confusion, and JJ sighed and began to explain.
“Look at this toy truck in the middle.” She said, pointing at something that almost blended into the background of the photo. The true focus was a large handprint - one that belonged to the killer, but he had worn gloves. “It’s wooden, it’s hand-carved, it’s old fashioned. All the other toys are plastic, brightly coloured. Remember what the UnSub said in the second 9-1-1 call?”
“‘She pretends to have her son’s best interests at heart, but she was going to let him get cancer from sucking on those cheap plastic toys.’” Reid said, repeating it word-for-word, using his impeccable memory.
“Exactly.” JJ confirmed with a nod. “Clearly the UnSub believes that he would be a good father because he can gift his child something hand-made instead of something mass produced.”
“Alright, get the crime scene techs back over there to pick up the truck, maybe he wasn’t wearing gloves when he made it and there is some slim chance he left a print on it.” Hotch said, and JJ left to call the crime scene unit.
This left the team sitting in silence for a few more moments until Reid spoke up again.
“What about preschools?” He said, suddenly coming out of a wave of thought to announce this to the room.
“What?” Prentiss prompted, wondering what on earth he was talking about.
“Preschools.” Spencer confirmed, looking across the table at her.
“We checked already, none of the victims’ children went to the same preschool.” Morgan reminded him. “Two of the kids didn’t even go to preschool.”
“Yeah, but preschools typically have large waitlists.” Spencer argued.
Naturally, all eyes in the room fell on him, waiting for him to explain.
“In the first 9-1-1 call, the UnSub said that the victim ‘shipped her son off to be cared for by strangers half the time’.” He explained, once again perfectly reciting this from memory. “What if the UnSub resents preschools and the schooling system for taking these children away from their mothers, so he’s choosing his victims off of a preschool waitlist? What if that’s where his obsession stems from because that’s where his rage stems from?”
Reid jumped up, pointing to the map he had been using to make a geographical profile.
“All of the victims live within the same school district.” He added on. “So they would be applying to the same group of preschools.”
“I’ll call Garcia.” Morgan announced.
A few minutes later, Morgan connected Garcia’s call to the comm on the center of the conference table they were working from.
“Hey, pumpkin pies.” She greeted them sweetly, as usual. “So it turns out, the preschool that Tommy Laird, and Emily Ashton, the third and the fourth victim had in common, does have a waitlist. But none of the other victims’ names were on it.”
“Come on, babygirl. I know you’re holding out on me.” Morgan said, giving a small smirk.
“Oh, my Adonis, if I don’t have your trembling anticipation, I have nothing.” Garcia giggled. “The school’s waitlist, and their applications, are handled by a firm called Gordon & Stanheight. And it turns out, they handle the applications and waitlisting for five other preschools in the area.”
“Which gives the UnSub a perfect way to pick his victims.” Morgan sighed. “The first interaction that gets him hooked might not even be in person-”
“Unless he’s picking them out of the line-up on paper and then waiting to meet them in person?” Prentiss replied. “With this type of guy, the smallest smile, a nod in his direction - that could be consent in his mind to play father to a household that’s missing one.”
“You said they handle forms for five different schools? That just widened the victim pool.” Rossi groaned.
“And the suspect pool.” Garcia added on. “The firm has thirty male employees. And I did a bit more digging - the preschool applications have ten ‘optional’ questions on the bottom that are definitely not marked as such. Questions directed at the parent filling out the form, rather than vital information about the child. Things such as: ‘what’s your favorite food?’, ‘when is your birthday?’, ‘what’s your favorite color?’, ‘do you plan on having more children?’ - typical survey schlock,”
“That would explain why the UnSub served Lisa Laird a birthday cake.” Reid sighed. “He knew it was her birthday two days before he killed her.”
“I have a feeling I’m not gonna like where this is going.” Emily sighed.
“Oh, sugar. You probably won’t.” Penelope easily agreed. “The ‘optional’ part of the forms is sold off to other companies as survey data. And those forms are seen and handled by over a thousand male employees of Gordon & Stanheight’s larger ‘data processing’ sector.”
“Well the UnSub has to be local to Portland. So narrow down the suspect list based on his last known address and go from there.” Hotch said. “Also, it would be someone who has a criminal record. Someone committing this level of violence wouldn’t be a first time offender.”
“Gotcha.” Penelope said. “Penny G, out.”
…
The team ended up raiding Gordon & Stanheight’s Portland based office.
After some pointless conversation, some threats of lawsuits, and some even larger threats of being detained for impeding an FBI investigation, the team was able to get their hands on the preschool applications. Over two-dozen boxes worth, that they would have to sort through.
So this left JJ, Reid, Hotch, Rossi, Morgan, and Prentiss knee deep in paper, looking for anyone who fit the UnSub’s victimology - praying that they would be able to pick out the next victim and get to her before the UnSub did.
“We’re never gonna get through these fast enough, are we?” Prentiss sighed, continuing to sift through the papers.
“We just have to go as fast as we can, and hope the UnSub sticks to his schedule.” Morgan replied. “He has to spend time stalking them, learning their routine. Even if he has chosen his victim by now, he won’t break into the house until he’s fully confident that he won’t be disrupted.”
“And the stalking helps build up the fantasy.” Reid added on. “He romanticizes them from afar, sends them gifts. It adds to his delusions of grandeur and forbidden love. The idea that he’s swooping in to become the perfect father figure for these ‘broken’ families.”
“So we’re hanging all our hopes on the idea that this psychopath needs time to ‘fall in love’ with his next victim before he kills her?” Prentiss groaned.
“Sadly, yes.” Rossi confirmed.
“It helps that most of these applications are from two-parent households.” JJ pointed out. “We can throw out anything with a second applicant on the form, because he’s only targeting single mothers.”
The rest of the conversation easily became quiet in Spencer’s ears when he saw it.
It should have been just another page among the sea of paper in his hands, but when he saw those words on the page - that name - it was like a punch to the gut. It pushed all the air out of him in seconds, it made him dizzy, made him struggle to breathe. Like a reel flashing through his mind, it brought back a flood of memories he thought he had locked away forever.
It was you.
What the hell were you doing applying for preschools?
Spencer rushed to tear this paper away from the others in order to read it more carefully.
Surely enough, the application was filled out in your handwriting. Something that had barely changed over the years. And it was all right there, laid out in front of his eyes, clear as day -
You had a son.
A son named Sebastian, who was three years old. Spencer checked the date on the form, eagerly looking for a birth date for your son. His birthday had just recently passed, actually, so he was four years old now.
And his birth date was… fuck.
He had been born eight and a half months, almost nine months exactly after the two of you had broken up. Your son had been born eight and a half months after the day you had left and Spencer had never seen you again.
One thousand, seven hundred and two days.
Four years, eight months, and two days.
It wasn’t difficult math.
Your son was the perfect age to be Spencer’s child. Was this Spencer’s child?
His hands began to shake at the very thought of it.
Is that why you had disappeared from his life with such haste? Because you knew that you were pregnant and you didn’t want Spencer to be a part of your child’s life?
Had you been keeping this from him intentionally?
He hadn’t thought about you in four long years, he had tried so hard not to. He had spent so long forcing himself not to miss you, and now he was struck with the realization that he might have a child out there with the woman he considered to be his regrettable lost love. A child he didn’t know - a child who he had missed four whole years with.
What the fuck was going on?
There were no pictures included with the application, and suddenly, Spencer found himself dying to see the boy. He wanted to know if there was any physical resemblance to himself, or if he was jumping to conclusions.
Maybe you had cheated on him. Maybe that was why you had left town and never contacted him again. Maybe the kid wasn’t his at all, maybe-
“Reid.” JJ called out gently, getting his attention.
Spencer suddenly realized that he was hyperventilating, staring down at the application with your name on it in his hand, wrinkling the paper as he squeezed it more frantically.
“Did you find something?”
…
All in all, the team found four different women who fit the victim pattern in the files - you being one of them.
So the team split up, ready to knock on each of the womens’ doors, preparing to warn them that if they received any gifts or saw any suspicious men lingering around them in the next few days, they should call. They had to hope that the UnSub wouldn’t move on from this victim pool if he saw the FBI around. But he was overly confident, he had contacted police before.
It could definitely work.
When Hotch found out that Spencer had known you, he said that Spencer should be the one to knock on your door. That you might find it comforting to hear that you and your child could possibly be in danger if it were coming from ‘an old friend’. Spencer stuttered over himself and didn’t have the words to explain that you weren’t just a good friend to him, but a romantic flame. He didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of the team by telling everyone that the break-up had been messy, and sudden, and Spencer still wasn’t even completely sure what had caused it. He didn’t want to rip open his old wounds in front of everyone.
So he simply shut his mouth and got in the car with JJ, and they made their way toward your house.
“So…” JJ’s voice broke through the undulating silence of the car ride - filled by nothing but the sound of the car’s motor running and gears grinding inside Spencer’s mind as he tried to figure all of this out. “I do have to ask the obvious question,”
“What is that?” Spencer probed, slightly glad to be relieved of his own thoughts.
He wasn’t so glad when JJ pried those thoughts out of his mind and spilled them to the open air.
“Is the kid yours?” She wondered aloud. “I mean - when did you and Y/N break up?”
JJ had known you as Spencer’s girlfriend.
Come to think of it, she was probably the only person on the current field team who had some kind of a relationship with you back when you and Spencer dated.
Initially, it had been by accident. JJ had driven him home one night after a particularly long and sleepless case, and you had been coming to his apartment to drop off some books he had asked for (shortly after he had given you a key). When JJ saw you, her natural curiosity got the better of her - even more so when you stuck out your hand and introduced yourself as ‘Spencer’s girlfriend’ without hesitation.
The two of you got to talking, and JJ invited you to ‘girls night’. You met Elle and Penelope shortly after. You had become pretty good friends with the three of them before the break-up.
But Spencer had always felt secretive…. well, protective of you. He didn’t want Morgan teasing him about you, or him wanting to have ‘guy talk’ about things that occurred in the bedroom. Not when it might mean talking about intimate moments with you. Spencer had only introduced you to Gideon over coffee about three weeks before the break-up, and that felt like a lifetime ago.
Back then, having you, Elle, and Gideon leave his life all in a matter of a few months felt like hell on earth. It felt like being grabbed by his ankles and shaken for all he was worth. He really wasn’t sure that he was ready to see you again.
It had been four years.
JJ was someone he could lean on right now.
“Four years ago.” He told her, completely honest.
“And how old is the kid?” JJ asked.
“Four - four years old.” Spencer stuttered out, realizing that now as he was speaking about this very real possibility, he might be breathing more life into it.
“Oh my god.” JJ sighed. “Well… could it-? I mean…? Did the two of you?”
It took Spencer a moment to clue into what JJ was talking about. He gave her a sideways glance and she took her eyes off the road for a moment, raising her brows and giving him a pointed look.
“Please tell me you know what does and what doesn’t make a baby,” JJ groaned.
“Oh!” Spencer huffed, a small wave of embarrassment flooding him. “Yes! God, yes. I know.”
There was a moment of awkward silence, and then Spencer felt the need to clarify his answer.
“We - I mean. We…” He trailed off for a moment, clearing his throat. “We didn’t always use… protection. We were together for three years, at the time, it was on the table.”
“Kids were on the table for you back then?” JJ asked, clearly shocked by this. “I could not imagine little twenty-four year old Spence with a baby.”
“Well… it’s something I’ve always wanted.” He mumbled quietly in reply.
It was true. At the time, Spencer easily imagined himself getting married to you, having multiple kids with you. These days, seeing JJ with Henry and Will brought him the occasional underlying pang of jealousy - but since breaking up with you, there hadn’t been anyone else in Spencer’s life that he could have imagined having kids with. He thought that he was going to be alone and childless for the rest of his life. That the dream was long dead for him.
“Hey - then, maybe this is a blessing in disguise?” JJ posed. “If we hadn’t been looking through those forms because of this UnSub, you never would have found Y/N again. You wouldn’t even know this baby exists.”
There was another thing that JJ was dying to ask - something she held back because she felt like it was a touch too personal. (Even if ‘too personal’ was basically how the BAU team lived - knee deep in each other’s business, all the time).
She wanted to know why you had a baby, a baby that Spencer had very likely fathered, and you hadn’t contacted him about it. Spencer seemed entirely clueless about the child’s existence before now, and JJ knew that because of what his own father had been like, he wouldn’t just blow off a kid that was his if he knew that one was out there in the world.
So why hadn’t you told Spencer about the baby?
“What if the kid isn’t yours?” JJ wondered aloud.
Maybe that would unburden him. She knew that either way, Spencer would fight to protect you from the UnSub. But if the kid wasn’t his - he would walk away again, and he wouldn’t have to be hung up on the heartbreak of dealing with his ex just to parent a child together.
“Honestly… I think I’ll be more heartbroken if I find out that he’s not even mine.” Spencer told her, his voice quiet and already lulling with that disappointment.
That was not something JJ had considered. She frowned as she saw the sadness paint across Spencer’s face.
“One thing at a time, alright?”
When they pulled into your driveway, Spencer’s mind immediately began churning.
It was a nice house. It was a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The front yard was clean and trimmed and there was a silver SUV in the driveway with a ‘baby on board’ sticker in the rear window. There was a rocking chair on the porch, but he didn’t see many children’s toys out front on the lawn. He guessed that was a good thing. Letting children play in the front where they could run into the street and potentially get hit by a car was too dangerous. He was glad to already see signs that you were a good mother.
Spencer felt like he was opening up a book halfway, desperately wanting to be filled in on the previous chapters while having missed so much. Still wanting to read ahead and see more.
He had already missed so much of your son’s life. He had missed you. That was something forming the biggest knot in his gut. He had truly missed you. The times he had allowed himself to think of you over these past few years - he had missed you so dearly.
And now the two of you likely had a child together.
Craning his neck to get a better look, desperately trying to take in more information, Spencer’s eyes were wide and hungry as JJ put the car in park by the curb in front of your house. As Spencer reached for the passenger side door handle, JJ’s phone rang.
“I have to take this.” She sighed. “You go ahead.”
She gave Spencer a distinct look that said ‘I know you need a minute alone with Y/N’, and he nodded, stepping out of the vehicle while she greeted whoever was on the other line. He smoothed down his tie - for once in his whole life, he was actually worried about how he looked. Only because he knew that he was going to see you. Perhaps he had only ever felt like this before going on his first date with you.
He had such a strange lashing of emotions going through him as he approached the door. Fear, anxiety, anticipation. Longing.
He truly had tried so hard to lock away his feelings for you when you had left. He had tried to move on. He had considered, briefly, in passing, dating other women. There had been times when someone else caught his eye, and he considered asking her out on a date. Morgan had offered to ‘set him up’. Penelope had offered too, telling him that he deserved to ‘get back out there’.
Whenever she asked about you, his heart freshly cracked open.
At one point, she had advised him to write a long, Shakespearian letter, pouring out his heart to you in an effort to get you back - one which she would mail. (Because of course, she could get your new address in a heartbeat.) But he didn’t want to experience the heartbreak all over again if you ignored him. He didn’t want to sit, waiting by the mailbox every single day like a lost dog, waiting for you to write him back in return.
You had disappeared from his life for a reason. Just like everyone else had. For a long time, Spencer convinced himself that he was simply meant to end up alone.
Perhaps if he had known about your son - a child that could very well be his - then he might have felt differently about getting Penelope to contact you.
But now he was standing at your front door, his fist shaking as he raised his hand to knock.
He let out a sharp breath and steadied himself, giving three swift, firm knocks against the door and then trying to wait patiently. His heart thumped inside of his throat, and it felt like forever.
“Sorry!” Your voice called out from behind the door, muffled. “Sorry, I almost didn’t hear you. I was-”
You cut off your own words as you opened the door - the moment you caught Spencer’s eye and recognized it was him, pure shock fell across your features, and you froze on the spot.
You were just as stunning as ever. You had barely aged at all - your hair was different than the last time he had seen you, of course. And you were dressed casually - wearing a simple hooded sweatshirt with a drawstring and a pair of jeans with some fuzzy slipper boots on. But pale blue looked so good on you.
So much like the pale blue dress you had worn on your first date with him.
You were breath-taking.
“Y/N.” He greeted you, his throat dry already.
You didn’t say anything, simply continuing to stare him down with wide-eyed shock.
Seeing you again, Spencer couldn’t help but to think back to that first date.
The first night that he knew he was in love with you.
…
He had taken you to see the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
It was Spencer’s idea of a good time - and it ended up being one of the most beautiful, most romantic, most unique first dates that you had ever been on.
It was difficult not to fall for him with the beautiful music in the air and his glossy eyes, so sickeningly thick with affection, staring you down all night.
Afterwards, the two of you stopped to get ice cream at a small shop that was a short walk down from the orchestra. And now you were both enjoying your ice cream as you walked along in the cool night air - enjoying the peace and quiet and the gentle breeze in the darkness.
It was a perfect night.
Spencer could think of no better way to spend it than with you. The yellow bulbs of the street lights practically cast a glow onto your skin, the mulberry lipstick now worn off your lips as you brought the pink spoon to your mouth and licked up your sweet treat.
His stomach was churning with nerves. Joyous nerves.
And as per usual, when he was nervous - he rambled.
“You know, Bach actually married his cousin.” He said, spouting off the first thing that came to mind.
You told him that Bach was one of your favorite composers - it’s why he had thought to bring you to the orchestra on a date in the first place.
“I did not know that.” You giggled. “So what? Was it like a ‘third cousin twice removed’ type situation?”
Spencer found himself grinning at the fact that you actually engaged him in the conversation, rather than staring at him with an odd look for bringing up such a strange topic.
“Not quite.” He replied. “They had the same surname before marriage.”
“Oh, ew.” You chuckled again, giving a shudder at the thought of this.
Spencer knew it was an odd topic to discuss on a date, and if he rambled on too much, it might freak you out - but he couldn’t stop himself. His mouth ran away with him, and he continued.
“He married Maria Barbara Bach, and they had seven children together.” He told you. “His sons, Wilhelm Friedemann and Carl Philipp Emanuel became composers and musicians much like their father, which was actually carrying on a legacy started by Bach’s father himself - who was a seventh generation musician. He was the one who taught Bach the organ from a very young age.”
“Why don’t people play the organ anymore?” You wondered aloud. “Except in churches, I guess. The organ rocks.”
Spencer’s brain began rocketing off at the fact that you had asked him a question. A question he could answer.
“The organ has actually long been associated with divinity.” He replied. “The instrument rose in popularity alongside Catholicism throughout the eighteenth century, and in a sense, that was part of what made Bach a sort of ‘rockstar’ of his time. The religious references in his work, and his mastery of the organ - all of it made him incredibly popular at the time because it caused him to be favored by the church and by royal figures associated with the church.”
Spencer gleamed a large smile, heavily enjoying that he could share these facts with you. He thought for certain that any moment, you would change the subject or imply that he should stop talking. But instead, you engaged the conversation more.
“Religious references?” You questioned, wondering what he meant by this.
“Yes!” Spencer grinned, suddenly very excited by the explanation behind this. “Even in his secular music, Bach would often incorporate the acronym ‘INJ’, a Latin abbreviation that means ‘In Nomine Jesu’, or ‘in the name of Jesus’. It was something he put on all of his manuscripts.”
You grinned back. You found it fascinating that being around Spencer for such short periods of time caused you to learn so many things. It easily made you want to be around him more.
“Interesting.” You replied.
“And his talent on the organ was seen as something that made him ‘divine’ at the time. Divine enough to be worthy of performing for royalty.” Spencer added on. “In 1708, Bach got a position as the court organist in Weimer for Duke Wilhelm. And later when he requested early release from this position, desiring to go work for Prince Leopold of Koethen, the Duke actually had him arrested and put in jail for several weeks in 1716.”
Spencer laughed at this mental image - the composer being put in jail.
“Ooh, harsh.” You sighed. “But I guess Dukes have too much power.”
Spencer let out another bright laugh at this.
“And see, the interesting thing is, Bach later became the conductor of the court orchestra, in which Prince Leopold played.”
“So he got his wish,” You replied with a smile.
“And see-”
Spencer set off on another rant again, and you couldn’t help yourself. You put your spoon into the cup of ice cream and then you used your now free hand to reach out and grab Spencer by his tie - you pulled him toward you before he could get anymore words out, and he let out a shocked, choked-off sound when you pressed your mouth into his.
He sighed gently against your lips, and unconsciously dropped his own melting chocolate cone on the ground by his feet as his limp hands drifted toward your waist. He was dizzy, and now every single fact he had ever known about any composer had vanished from his head. In that moment, standing under a random street lamp on a random sidewalk somewhere - all he knew was the soft, pillowy feeling of your lips and the cool night breeze against his skin.
It was perfect. You were perfect.
You found his intelligence and the enthusiasm with which he spoke to be so utterly irresistible. You had been on so many dates with men before where they had acted like talking about their interests was a chore. Where they had made it seem like the whole thing was simply a routine, waiting for the end of the night so they could get into your pants. And for them, that’s what it probably was.
But Spencer was nothing like that.
He spoke about everything with such intense passion - and you couldn’t resist the urge to try and suck that very passion off his lips.
When you were forced to pull back slightly, your lungs crying out for oxygen, Spencer let out a gentle moan and began puffing out sweet little pants across your chin as he tried to catch his breath. You kept a hold of his tie, wanting to keep him close, and he stayed there, gently pressing his forehead against yours.
“That was… wow.” He sighed.
“I didn’t think I would ever find you at a loss for words, Doctor Reid.” You replied with a giggle.
“Well, I - you - wow.”
It was all he could muster, causing you both to break down into laughter.
Back then - everything had been perfect.
He had no clue where it all went so wrong.

Lost in the moon
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•
Sun/Moon X reader
Word count: 2521
Summary:
You decide to check out the daycare where you meet Sun, after the daycare closes you leave. But you gets lost and don't exit the Plex in time and get looked in. You end up meeting Moon and try asking him for help
Notes:
I got lazy with the ending cuz this fic took me nine days to write and I've had enough with it, so enjoy
•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
You stroll around the pizza plex enjoying the overpriced pizza, arcade games and various attractions that the place has to offer. At one point you got lost in the pizza Plex, but you got help from one of the glam rocks and at the same time you also got the chance to take a picture with them, which in all honesty was quite nice of them. Though you're terrible with names. (But you do remember them being a chicken with green earrings). Was it Sheikah? Sheek? Oh It was Chicka! Chicka the chicken! Even if your day was filled with exciting activities, you could not help yourself but to feel disappointed and isolated. Even surrounded by people constantly throughout the day, it fell short of what you had hoped for.
As the sun's light begins to dissipate, you find yourself meandering through the expansive building, observing as people gradually depart as the bustling crowds disperse. With less than an hour left until closing you start to make your way to the daycare. It was the only place you hadn't looked at yet today. And in addition, since the daycare closes an hour earlier than everything else, you believe that there will be an absence of strangers staring daggers at you, and wondering why a random adult is there, though you thought of it more reminiscent of a curious child exploring.
You don't do too well with copious amounts of crowds surrounding you for the entire day. So you need a quiet place to sit down for a bit to get your self level headed from the day. You know the two characters that work in the daycare, Sun and Moon. You have seen their posters here and there plastered on the walls. If you were going to be honest for a little while you thought that their names were Sundrop and Moondrop, but no, it's the candy they advertise.
You enter the daycare and you start to hear funky but kinda nice music. you start to bop to it slightly, and it makes you feel slightly better. You tread quietly up to the metal fence next to a slide where it said ´slide in to fun!´. You looked down at the play area and at first glance you saw two large jungle gyms connected with a bridge and a ball pit. Man you wished this was the daycare you went to when you were a kid, because this looked amazing this could easily be any kids dream come true. But your train of thought was interrupted by the feeling that it felt like something was staring at you but you can't pinpoint where it's coming from, so you just shrug it off as anxiety. You make your way down to the lower level of the daycare to sit on one of the benches to rest before you start making your way out of the Pizza Plex.
You have your back turned away from the big daycare doors as they fling open and you freeze in shock as you hear a loud chery voice behind you. "Why hello there friend! All the kids have already been picked up. So what concern do you have here to be here at such a late hour?" You berated yourself for forgetting that there are two daycare andents, of course they'd still be active. You turn your torso around slowly to face who is behind you, having both legs firmly rooted into the floor. As you turn you see a very tall robot with eyes that are chalk white and triangles around his head designed to look like sun rays. He had a big smile, and hands stretched to his sides and stood there with a mighty posture looming over you.
"I-" you took a deep breath to try to get the words out of your mouth as he stood there patiently with both of his hands clasped together. "I just wanted to get away from the crowds for a bit. I didn't mean to disturb or anything- I can leave if you want me to." At that last part you lift up your hands in a nervous mock surrender. "Oh no you are welcome to stay, we were just curious as to why you were here. We thought that maybe you took a wrong turn and got lost or something." He started to sway on his feet rocking back and forth, seeming to hold back his excitement that would explode like a balloon any second now. He suddenly stops standing on his tippy toes; "Oh how rude of me! I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Sun! And what would yours be?" turning his head to the side out of curiosity. Your body fully turned towards him and were more relaxed. This seems to have pleased Sun. You told him your name, plain and simple. You did wonder however, he said"we "a bit earlier, but there was only one animatronic in front of you. You wanted to ask him where Moon was. Maybe he was inside cleaning or was just shy.
"Where is Moon? I would like to say hello to him too." You say it a bit too nonchalantly. He lets out a nervous chuckle and plops down from being on the tips of his toes. "Well he’s only out when the pizza plex is closed as security. Sorry to disappoint." He slouches down a bit but quickly perks up and says. "BUT! I can say hi to him from you, does that sound good?" He starts to fidget with his hands. It was nice to converse with Sun and it helps to distract you from the day. Your legs were aching from exhaustion and you just wanted a place to collapse and catch your breath "Yeah i think that would be nice. Well I'm going to go and sit down somewhere now. It was nice meeting you." You wave him goodbye as you turn away. "Goodbye! The pizza plex closes in thirty minutes!" He waves goodbye and the bells on his wrist jingle. You give him a thumbs up without turning. You feel a small gust of wind hit you as he closes the heavy doors in one swift motion.
You have your gaze on a seat with a table, you speed walk towards it and slump down. Resting your head on your arms as you let out a sigh of fatigue. You allow your mind to wander and overanalyze everything that you've done today to every minute detail, like how you fumbled on that mini golf ting and lost your grip on the golf club and it fell into the indoors river, or how you could not control the gocart properly and jerking forward trying to workout how it works, or how you needed the staff to get you out of a labyrinth designed FOR KIDS! Your spiraling thoughts were broken by the speaker announcing that they close in five minutes and something about a free drink voucher that you could get.
You lift up your head and blink away the sleepiness. You start making your way to the exit of the daycare, not paying attention to where you were walking. You wander and take a turn and… you are not at the entrance gate. You definitely took a wrong turn somewhere to end up at the theater. You couldn't do one thing correctly today it seems. The way back had stairs not a corridor. You start to backtrack back to the daycare slightly panicking. Now speed walking out of the theater and going towards the stairs. You hear a concerned voice "Hello again! I can tell that you're lost, it’s just to go up those stairs and take a left and there's the entrance gate, it's impossible to miss it. You only have like two minutes so you better run" You turned to look at the door that was slightly cracked open and Sun's head was peeking through looking worried. Wow that's a way to rub it in that you had the sense of direction of an egg (or like Zoro from One piece).
Your mouth turns into a line as you have to bite your tongue to not say something snarky like ´yeah, no shit sherlock´ or ´wow this is life changing information´ he was just trying to help you. So instead you opted for a simple thanks with a tired smile and told him ´goodnight, rest well.´ "I hope you do too, it looks like you need it. Goodbye!" he slid back in and closed the door. You really must have looked tired, and you were tired too. You just wanted to get home and sleep. You continued to speed walk up the stairs and took a left. You hear the lights turn off in an ominous voom. You stand still so your eyes try to adjust to the sudden darkness you found yourself in. You eventually got adjusted to the dim neon lights that came in different arrays of colors.
At that moment you realized that the Plex had closed. You looked at the entrance and saw the shutters were down. You were too tired to panic, you were just pissed at yourself now. “Great, Now I'm stuck in here. Unless I get staff to help me”. You opted for Sun's help because you knew at least where he was. You sigh and turn on your heel harshly. As you approach the entrance you don't hear the music playing, it's way too quiet for your liking. You see that the daycare is pitch black, but you continue. You aggressively walk down the stairs and yell out "Sun are you there? I got locked in and I would like to go home and sleep. Please can you help me?" You are met with silence. You were starting to get annoyed (not at Sun just that you didn't want to go into the play area looking for him). You go up to tug on the door and it won't budge, it's locked. You remember that he told you that Moon is security and maybe he was nearby, ( you assumed he would probably have the daycare as his starting point).
You let go of the handle and groan as you pinch your nose bridge, feeling as you felt an annoying headache creeping in. "Moon! Are you nearby? I kinda need help" you yell out.
No answer. You hear a soft jingle of bells. "Where are you?" you mutter under your breath thinking it is Sun making the noise. As you look to the side trying to see movement through the darkness in the play area. No luck, nothing is there. You hear a raspy voice next to your ear whispering "Behind you."
"MOTHER OF JESUS!" You screamed out. You jumped, turning around to see the fucker, whispering in your ear, next to you. It was a blue and white animatronic, it had a wire from its back to the ceiling, hanging upside down like Spiderman does. It has red eyes and a starry night cap with a big sharp smile on its face. Ah this must be Moon. You were eye to eye, just staring at him while he chuckled in amusement. You tried to muster up courage and put on your best smile, but you still sounded shaky in your voice. "Um… are you Moon? If so, can I get some help?" He pauses and his eyes turn pitch black, his head flips around to be right side up with his body still upside down. His smile flattens and eyes are wide open and he is too close for comfort. You swallow the lump in your throat. You took a deep breath and said "I got lost and now I'm locked in." You had your arms crossed and had your weight on one leg as the adrenalin had started to dissipate, as you look in his eyes you can see red pupils staring right back.
His body started to get down to stand on the floor, the wire detaching and going up to where you can't see it, but his face remained in the same spot. He let out a small chuckle and started to smile again as he rose to his full height. He was just as tall and intimidating as Sun was. Looking down at you he said "You are an intriguing one." You paused for a bit, you were confused at his response "Thank you, I guess?" tilting your head to the side. He turns around and starts walking away from you, but stops when he realizes that you're not following and he gestures to follow him. You start to follow him, pleased that you're getting help.
”So, where is Sun? He was in the daycare a few minutes ago.” He turns to look at you and what sounded like him taking a sharp inhale to say something, but he stops himself from doing so. He looks displeased. He thinks for a moment as both of you walk up the stairs and take a turn. “We share the same body, if the lights are on Sun is out, if the lights are turned off I am the one who is out.” He states begrudgingly. You think to yourself that that's quite cool at first, but you realize it must be torment to be in the same body. “Can I ask one more question?” you look up at him, he looks annoyed “why are you asking persimmon now? You didn't before” he said with bewilderment. “Is it like a nap for the one who is not active?”
As you have almost reached the doors he stops for a bit now being behind you and says "Didn't your parents teach you not to trust strangers?" He chuckles. "Oh har har funny joke, it’s obvious that you are Moon right. right?" You turn back to look at him and you see nothing. You hear the creaking noise of the shutters opening. But at the moment you don't care, you were wondering where (THE FUCK) Moon went, and he was avoiding the queston. You look around yourself up at the ceiling and consider walking around and looking behind things, but you were technically trespassing at this point so it's good to not stay any longer. Especially with what he just said, and you ain't taking any chances. You probably pissed him off with that question. You cup your hands around your mouth and yell out "Thank you Moon! Goodnight." And that was it, you opened the glass door and out of the Pizza Plex.
The metal shutters don’t close immediately until youre a small distance away. You look behind you to watch it close and you see an upside down head peeking thru with completely red glowing eyes. As the shutters slowly descend you see Moon waving you goodbye, a bit surprised to see him you wave back until you can't see each other anymore. You might come back and visit, those two were intriguing too. But for now you just need to get home and sleep.

"Thank you for staying with us at the daycare! We hope to see you again soon little man." You smiled softly and waved goodbye to the boy with his little blue jeans on.
The day was coming to an end and this was your week to close out the daycare and be there to organize child pick up once the pizza plex began closing down. You huffed softly, stretching and pressing your hands into your lower back, hoping to pop it. After bending down and picking up children all day, you back really needed to be popped and you honestly couldn't wait for everyone to head out so you could pop it correctly.
"Miss (Y/n)! Miss (Y/n)! I made something for you today!" A child screamed, running in your direction.
Her green eyes seemed to light up when you grabbed her up and twirled around with her in your arms. She squealed and shoved the paper in your face, telling you to look over and over again at the crudely drawn picture.
"Oh my goodness! Did you make this all by yourself?" You asked, feigning awe at the child's drawing.
It was a rough semblance of the day care and a handful of children, all surrounding you and Sun who were holding hands and smiling. You didn't think much of that detail at first until the child began to explain.
"That's you with the black pants, and this is me and this is...." she named every child in the photo..."And I made you and Mr. Sundrop holding hands because you're boyfriend and girlfriend!" She giggled loudly, while you passed her off to her parents.
"I just love the drawing Hunny Bun, but Mr. Sundrop and I aren't boyfriend and girlfriend. Mr. Sundrop is my friend, just like Tommy is your friend!" The girl looked awfully confused but nodded anyway as you took her drawing and waved her goodbye, her parents thanking you and taking her away from the Daycare.
She was the last child for pickup, and your day was officially over. You wandered back to the desk, shutting off the lamps and signing off the monitors. You took one of the silly little glitter stars in the drawer and stuck the drawing on the wall with the hundreds of other drawings you collected. It was almost like a pride thing, keeping all these little kids' drawings.
"Heya (Y/n)! Another drawing for the wall?" Sun chuckled, wandering behind the desk and looking at the newest addition.
"Yep. She drew us in the middle holding hands because apparently, we're Girlfriend and Boyfriend according to her." You shook your head with a smile, going to walk away and find the broom to do one last quick sweep of the floor before heading into the employee tunnels to finish your nightly duties.
Sun followed you, a twisted look on his face. You had associated this look with Moon chatting and making a comment so you often passed it off. You don't see Moon very often but every once in a blue moon sun will shut the lights off so He has his time to roam and chat with you.
"What makes little Miss. Meena think we're together?" Sun Asked.
"Ya'know, I'm not too sure. Maybe it's because we both work her in the daycare? She didn't exactly specify why, but I did tell her we weren't together. She was super confused by it, but accepted it nonetheless."
You began to sweep the broom across the floor and shook your head with a small smile. It was silent for a moment and you just made the assumption that Sun and Moon were silently chatting, but before you could ask what they were talking about, a cool feeling metal snaked around your wrist, tugging at you and forcing you to stand straight and look to see what was going on exactly.
Sun was gazing directly into your eyes, and he began to back you up against the wall where the soft padding meets the cold glass. Your breath hitched and your heart rate increased as it does every time this happens after closing.
"We aren't? Then why do I get to touch you every night after close?" Sun asked, being awfully brazen.
Sun was never like this; he was always so polite and so gentle about everything he did. You cocked your head, confused by this sudden change in attitude.
"We'll no....We never talked about it and never established what we wanted."
"So, we need to talk about it?"
"Well, yeah..." You whined as Sun brushed his cold hand in-between your legs.
"You don't think anything of our nightly escapades?"
You couldn't answer before Sun took your hand and lead you to the back storage room that you both had re-arranged into a somewhat comfortable room. It was against the Pizza Plex Policy for any employee to stay after hours who was not a specified nightguard, but you loved Sun's company and home wasn't always the best place to be, especially when you close one night, and need to be back at 6am to open the next morning.
Sun shoved you onto the twin-sized bed that had been moved in and he laid on top of you, pressing a knee in between your legs and preventing you from closing them. A very soft huff resonated from your chest, and Sun began to trail his hands down your chest, the single nightlight in the room being to only thing that kept him, himself.
"Sundrop? What's going on with you?"
"You don't see anything here? Or have you just been ignoring all the time we've spent together? Do you not want to be apart of anything more than this?"
Your heart dropped, realizing that he thought things were different, he saw this situation as something completely different than you did and that made you feel bad. Maybe you had ignored all the signs, maybe you were refusing to acknowledge it.
"Sundrop...I-"
A soft buzz and a gentle flicker of the nightlight made both you and Sun look and helplessly watch the Nightlight go out. Neither of you moved as the little sun rays vanished, the yellow slowly turned blue, and his eyes went dark, turning to gaze directly at you.
"If Sun won't do it.....I will..." Moon mumbled, taking things into his own hands.
He began to nibble at you jaw and neck, his hands wasting no time to unbutton you slacks and sliding in, almost as if they had a mind of their own. You whined softly as you panties were pushed to the side and the cold metal slid into you, the heat from you walls slowly warming the metal and soaking it. Moon didn't wait and began to finger you, curling his fingers upwards to press on you g-spot and make you lift your hips. A sharp gasp came from you and Moon chuckled.
"You know you think about it. Don't act like you don't. He does..."
You didn't have it in you to answer as you felt the pressure in you lower abdoment begin to build, the pleasure becoming overwhelming. Moon's thumb began to gently rub circles on your clit, making you whine and wiggle in your spot while his other hand began to snake up your shirt and under your bra. You nipple hardened due to the stark contrast of temperature, but you loved it and couldn't help but make another noise.
"He wouldn't tell you, but I will. He thinks about his fingers inside you like this all the time. Listening to you whine and whimper. He wants you to beg, and plead, he wants you to crave not just his fingers, but his attention."
You could barely process his words, a soft 'please' coming from behind your lips as your hips began to roll against his hands.
"Just like that Dewdrop..." Your eyes lolled back and closed as you felt his hand pick up speed, making your tongue stick out.
You bucked your hips, very quietly begging to cum. It just felt too good and you couldn't risk Moon pulling away and leaving you empty.
"Beg..."
You didn't even pay mind to the change in tone, all you knew was that you had a request to fill.
"Please make me cum. Fuck! Please, I'm right there." You whined, lifting your hips higher, feeling the tips of his finger brushing against a good spot, but just barely touching it.
"Oh fuck harder! Please, you're right there." Your eyes filled with tears, "Please, please, please. Just a little faster, just a little deeper. I want to cum, I want to cum so bad."
That was all it really took before his fingers picked up the pace, thrusting deeper and pressing into that soft spot that made your eyes roll back into your read and your mouth salivate. Your head rolled back, and your hips bucked and rolled as you felt the last stretch approach, and within less than 60 seconds you collapsed, crying and breathing hard as your legs trembled and your clit throbbed, your walls squeezing down on his fingers, keeping his trapped inside of you while you tried your best to calm down.
When your breathing did end up steading you opened your eyes and you met the gaze of Sun, his features almost reflecting a mixture of awe and embarrassment. He pulled his hand out from in between your legs but didn't move away from you as you took a second to compose yourself.
"If you wanted to do more than just this, all you had to do was ask you Goober." You giggled and relaxed into the soft mattress, a look of relief passing over Sun's features.
He collapsed onto the bed next to you, puling you into his chest and chuckling softly.
"I'd like to do a little more than just please you sexually. If you'd like, I'd rather be Boyfriend and Girlfriend." Sun poked at you.
"I'd like that...but right now I'd rather just take a nap." You giggled and Sun agreed with you, kissing your forehead and letting you snuggle in and drift to sleep.
~~~
A/N: I kinda rushed the ending here, i'm sorry. If ya'll hate it or have an issues with the ending being rushed just comment and I can fix it here in a bit when I'm not doing dishes. Lol.
-☼ When you where introduced to Sun it was beaming with excitement, after the workers gave them the simple info on your job and that you where made to help all the kids with anxiety, fidgiting, not wanting to be around others, ect. There was a spot made in the nap room called the quiet corner, its for all the kids who want to be somewhere calm and just read, play or talk without all the energetic kids around. -☼ When you got introduced to the kids the older and calmer kids loved spending time with you, playing with you, singing with you, fidgiting with you, everything they wanted to do you gladly joined in with them, Sun loved that you got along with the kids as well as they did. "Alright kids, its snack time!" Sun said packing up the puppet show stuff "sunbeam can you go get the kids from the quiet corner? thank you!" Sun asked, you nodded and went to get the kids for snack time. When you got back with the children you helped Sun line the kids up and handed them their plates and got ready to hand out the juice boxes or water. After all the kids got their food they sat down at the tables and Sun opened its checklist "sunbeam can you go get the blankets and pillows please?" it asked, you nodded and went to set up the sleeping area.
-☾ Moon was surprised to see a new animatronic but after Sun briefly told it that you where their new sibling moon was happy to have another family member and a new helping hand that was like them. After small introductions you two went to put the children to sleep, after you made sure all the children where asleep Moon and you carefully sat down and talked about the children and what your job was. -☾ They talked to you about what to do after naptime was over and about the other animatronics in the pizza plex, you found out that there was this one trouble maker called Gregory that got banned from the pizza plex and how Moon had a small hatred towards him.
As you two talked softly about the pizza plex Moon came up with a idea "star do you want to draw with me?" you smiled brightly and nodded, very excited that you get to draw with your sibling. Moon came back with the paper and crayons, you both started drawing with the soft sound of humming coming from Moon, even though the lighting was dim it was light enough for you to see what you where doing. Some time pasted and you where both done with your drawings, Moon drew you sitting on a cresent moon "can i see your drawing star?" you smiled and gave the drawing of it, Sun and you hanging out in a field of flowers, Moon cooed and gave you a gentle hug "it looks amazing star, we can show it to Sun after the kids wake up." After some time the kids started waking up and going to sit with Moon and you, after a couple of minutes all the children woke up, Moon got up and stretched "okay little ones, Moony has to go now but Sunny will be back" the children softly whinned about not getting to spend time with Moon but it quieted them after saying that their caregivers will be here shortly to pick them up.
~ FazCo was one of the top robotics manufacturers right alongside RobCo and General Atomics. However FazCo focused on the entertainment and child care sectors. As such FazCo robots aren't that uncommon, a large part are sapient AIs.
~ FazCo bots are often stigmatized against since they are known to have started rebelling right before the nuclear fall out. They are still well known to be dangerous. However, settlements will trade with them. All FazCo bots are pre war.
~ Save for the addition of FazCo, the world of Fallout isn't changed much. This fic takes place in Oregon after the events of Fallout 4.
The Y/N, Scavy/nger
~ A mechanic recently expelled from their vault(68) for breaking the rules of the vault.
~ Before this they were in a close relationship with MoonGlow, a MoonDrop Security Bot gen4, that was head of Vault security.
~ A very good mechanic with an interest in FazCo bots and has several blueprints for different kinds in their pipboy.
~ Easily swayed by things that were luxuries in the vault such as: good food, Sugary snacks, Booze.
~ just dog shit aim. Totally reliant on V.A.T.S. when it comes to guns. Give them something Close range.
~ Have been traveling the wastes since a few years after the nuclear apocalypse. Mostly they get by doing odd jobs and scavenging what they can.
~ Used the virus to rewrite their own code so they could both defend themselves.
~ Have taken in orphaned children from the wastes on many occasions, currently though they aren't razing one.
~ Generally they think kids are sweet but all too often in the wasteland something goes wrong and they grow up into something terrible. As such they dont trust most humans, Sun usually does all the bartering in settlements.
~ Both have figured out how to make Sundrops and Moondrops and modify the recipes.
~ Moon is great at stealth, while Sun goes in guns blazing
Top three stats - Sun: Agility, Perception, Charisma | Moon: Perception, Agility, Intelligence
Perks -  Sun: Demolitions Expert  | Moon: Mr.Sandman | Shared: Child at heart
Weapon of choice: Sun: Pistol, SunDrops (actually small cherry bombs) | Moon: sniper rifle, Claws.
There is a lot more, but it's either spoilery or wouldn't make sense yet.  Or I'm not sure how to fit it into this post.
I love talking about AUs, so I will happily dish any details asked about.
Four requests: 2 of them will a vid request and the other 2 will be a regular degular writing request.
1: Yandere Slender brothers x fem algoid ( zalgo's offspring ) listener. The listener functions a bit like a succubus since their inner demon is a Lust one. So because of that they may or may not have a... close relationship with Offender. Since he's her off-and-on fuck buddy (the listener ends their promiscuous relationship when Smexy tries to turn it into an actual relationship ). The Listener gets most of their clothes from Trenderman. Shockingly Splendorman is a good acquaintance of theirs, maybe even a distant friend. Slender Man has been trying to recruit her despite her politely telling him no. But that all changes when their little half-sibling; Lazari, life gets put into a dire situation. So she cuts a deal with Slenderman that his he keeps Lazari safe, she'll work with him. As the icing on the cake listener even offers to become his proxy once Lazari is fully trained ( the listener isn't skilled with glutton demons ). Other than that everything is up in the air. The listener is Slender's secretary. Polite, professional, and of course sexy. Please and thank you
2: Yandere Moondrop and Sundrop x fem gamer animatronic reader. The arcade is their spot in pizzaplex. Sometimes Sun takes the kids there if they had a very good day and the reader leads them to the child-friendly ones. Moon sees them more than sun because they got that gamer insomnia. He forces them into a charge station to get some rest. Also, the reader has a crush on the night guard that watches the security cameras. They can tell by the goo goo heart eyes the reader gives the guard when they aren't looking. Just something Fluffy and dark, please.
3: Yandere God x GN ghost reader. The reader was murdered brutally and is scared to cross over to the other side because they're afraid nothing will be there for them. The classic Hurt and comfort, please.
4: Platonic Yandere God x GN (ex-)cultist listener. The reader was born and raised in a closed tight-knit community that borderline functioned like a Cult. But as time goes on and the older the listener gets the clearer the signs that everything might not be as they seem. They always saw it even as a kid but, after an incident that got them hurt and in some trouble, they stopped openly questioning out of fear. But as they grew the signs were starting to become more explicit and unbearable. So one day in private the listener openly asks for a sign from whatever divine force out there that whatever thing they're community was doing was it right or wrong and if they should leave ( escape )the community. Please and thank you.
P.S. I know that I'm asking for more than one thing, so take as long as you need to complete all of them. Good luck and take care of yourself love!!!
P.P.S Remember to drink plenty of water and rest well!!!!!
okay I am going to work on the slenderbrothers one in text and such! BUT You have to request the other ones so I do not lose them! Please in separate ones Thank you!
Ray of Sunshine Not So Strong (Sundrop x Reader)
(Angst and Comfort)
Y/n was a type of person who always had a smile on her face. She would always laugh, smile, joke, and was always optimistic in life. Even during negative occurrences, she was never put down.
Sun had always admired that type of positivity. The kids loved playing with her and she was a great influence in their early childhood growth. The Daycare needed people like her. Everybody loved her. Employees seemed to respect her. Parents adored her. Even Sundrop had adored her. Let's just say he considered his Y/n to be his 'Ray of Sunshine'.
But today, however, Sundrop's Ray of Sunshine wasn't so bright. Low energy, forced smile, fake humor. She seemed, dare he think, depressed. Through the day, Sun kept an eye on her st a distance, waiting the right time to approach and make sure she was ok.
But the time was never right.
While playing with the kids, he heard some raised and hostile voices. Looking over to see what was going on, his mechanical heart stopped, and his vision focused on Y/n's face. Her eyes glassy, cheeks stained with fresh tears, lips trembling. Her anxiety levels were in the red, and her heartbeat has increased to the state where she should be hyperventilating.
Y/n has always been happy, always been a delight. She always looked into positives. So seeing her in this state just made something click into Sun.
...
Y/n was being yelled at by an ugly human being. Unfortunately, he bullied and abused her when she was a child, and he was at the PizzaPlex to celebrate his little daughter's birthday. But seeing how she worked here, he obviously had to make her life miserable, and degrade her self worth. Y/n was trying everything to keep it together but failed, past traumas resurfacing and making her feel like a small 10 year old child all over again. She couldn't even mutter a single word to him. Even if she could, how? What if she lost her job by turning him away and him complaining to her superiors, lying through his teeth just to get his way.
"-on't get anywhere in life. I'm surprised you're still a live." The man downgraded Y/n more. But then a shadow hovered behind Y/n, and a metal arm pulled the young woman against his body, his hand in her hair and pressing her face against his comfort.
"Excuse me. But you are at the Daycare. Kindly take your nasty language up your buttocks and leave. The children don't need your NeGaTiViTe influence around." Sun's blue eyes glowed, his smile forced and threatening in his own way.
The man grimaced and scowled. But then smirked. "Your life got so sad, your friend is a scrap of children entertainment metal?"
Sun felt Moon began to growl inside, and knew he would try to scratch his way out. The Daycare Attendant had set Y/n to the side, his finger beans gentle on her form, before turning to the man. "Safety Protocol Actived. Removing dangerous man from premises." He grabbed the man's arms and lifted him up, leading her to the entrance of the DayCare.
"Hey! This is assault! Put me down! I will call the police!" The man wiggled and tried to get away, but was powerless against Sun, who now had a grimace. Once outside the Daycare, Sun rose his voice. "Security Alert! Dangerous man within Premises! Security Alert!"
...
While Sun was dealing with Y/n step father, she was trying to fix her composure. Another employee finally came to the scene, brows furrowed. "Hey. Are you.. o..k?" The employee saw Y/n's state, and knew she wasn't. "Go take a break. Come back when you're ready."
Y/n nodded, but then was lifted up by Sundrop, his face nuzzling Y/n's wet cheek. Without a word, he headed straight to his room, climbing and jumping effortlessly. Once in his room, he sat her on his bed. "Are you ok?" His voice was so sad, his mechanical facial features looking so worried.
Feeling her heart clench, Y/n hugged Sun, and began to cry loudly, letting all her feelings out. Sun was stunned, but held his little Ray of Sunshine to his body, running his fingers through her hair. He realized she was a fragile being who must be protected. She puts up her positive attitude because she was raised in abuse and neglect. He will make sure that Y/n will never feel that way again. He never agrees with Moon's tactics.. But he swears. If he sees that man WITHIN the Pizzaplex... An accident could very well perhaps happen.
Sundrop x Male MangleType Animatronic! Reader
Tumblr media
"HELLO, Y/N" A familiar voice called to you, as he made his way to you your section of the daycare.
His movements were perfect, clean, every step moved with purpose as he reached to his destination. He swiftly moved his upper body downwards, his eye lights fizzled with wonder as he greeted you.
You were a new off-section in the daycare, a "mangled" like robot, for kids to get "DIY" and use the spare parts to make,, you.
"A-AH, H- HELLO!" You stuttered, brightly smiling your wonky face up at the sun robot.
"'IT'S LIKE NO CHILD CAME TO YOU TODAY, A SHAME" Sun uttered, shaking his head.
"YOU WERE SUCH A BIG THING WHEN FIRST CREATED." he added.
You frowned softly, though not built to feel emotions other then happiness, some strange, foreign feeling made its way to your robotic brain.
"Y-yeah... o-o-ohwell!" You shrugged softly, rubbing your "fingers" together.
"OH, I'M SORRY DEAR FRIEND, DID THAT UPSET YOU?" Sun asked, his face raised in concern.
Sun was programmed with emotions (sad, anger, etc.) for a better feel and empathy with children, and overall better understanding of them. So it was quiet normal for him to ask a robot about it''s emotions.
"Huh? Y-y-yeah, I'm okay." You murmured, letting out a 'sigh' like sound. What were you feeling? What was this odd feeling?
"LET ME SHOW YOU THE KIDS NEW DRAWINGS" Sun happily cheered, trying to distract you as he easily made his way to the kids painting corner and grabbing all the adorable paintings they did.
For the rest of the afternoon, Sun told you about the messy adventures of him and the kids, the paintings and how some kid tried to prank Moon! You laughed at that.
Okay so a LOT of you (and I mean a LOT) liked the New Consciousness one shot with Platonic obsessed Sun&Moon with a child reader. I got a lot of asks for a part two and for other similar scenarios so I was wondering if I should maybe just go ahead and make a full story for the idea? Starting from the top? Would y'all be interested in that?
Edit: I did it! Check it out here!
