There's a fanfic on ao3 of like joseph, caesar, and reader playing strip poker and ofc reader is the sub but whatever that isn't important. what IS important is this dialogue im about to give you >:)

J: I have an idea that can make the night a little more fun, let's play strip poker!

C: *blushing* Idiota, you'll end up bare before the fifth round since you rely so heavily on cheating!

J: Hey, you were cheating too! You had a mirror on your shoe and everything!

C: Why you-!

R: *laughs*

J: Now what's so funny?! Don't tell me you agree with Caesar of all people!

R: No no, I'm just laughing because you're willing to show off how tiny your dick is.

C: *spits out his wine* Wait, have you-?!

J: *completely red faced* H-How would you know?! It's not like you have a dick anyway!

R: *leans in really close* Wanna bet?

and then strip poker shenanigans and reader has a dick that both Caesar and Joseph wanna suck

"alright alright, i know the rules" you say, throwing your hands up in defeat. as you stand up from your seat. you cant help but grin when you notice the intense stares adorn on the two's obviously red faces.

"what? that excited to see me naked? or for me to prove that i got a dick?" the two turn even redder as they both try to stutter out no's.

"mhm alright." you turn around and start to strip. slowly (and teasingly), you turn your head around to look at the two as you grab the waistband of the very last piece of clothing left on you. the position your in makes is so your back is to them so they won't be able to see whats down there immediately, making them rather impatient.

your eyes make their way down to their crotches, seeing the very obvious tents there.

Saw someone saying that Dio didn’t respect Jonathan and was only acting like he did to stay alive

There are many problems with this

First of all; Dio has no reason to lie about this. Yes, Dio is a conniving bastard, but he KNOWS that Jonathan isn’t going to want to give up his head. Why would he try tricking Jonathan into it?? He doesn’t go “hey I respect you so please can I have your head uwu (hates you)” he goes “you are the only person to ever best me and I respect you for that. I’m going to take your body as a sign of my respect, whether you like it or not (genuinely respects you)”

And then, once Jonathan does die, why would he keep the charade up? Why does he mourn the loss of his brother for even a second if he thinks that Jonathan is the scum of the earth? Shouldn’t he be celebrating gleefully that he outlasted Jonathan? No, because even Dio, especially in part 1, still has some emotion left. He still has a brief moment of grief. Jonathan was his rival, his equal, the only person who truly knew him, not just following him blindly or hating him from word of mouth. Even though Jonathan knew how evil Dio was, he still showed Dio empathy, and even if Dio thinks that Jonathan was an idiot for doing that, he still respects him, and maybe even loves him in a weird joker/Batman style way.

We actually see a moment when Dio despises Jonathan, after the time skip when they’re both 18, Dio is lying to Jonathan and is pretending to like him while hating his guts. We’ve seen Dio lie about respecting someone before, and the final scene of part 1 isn’t that in any way. Dio genuinely respects Jonathan, and I’m tired of people claiming he doesn’t.

The Jojo will always be a Link

Same (nick) name, same fate, same heart. The Links and the Jojos are very alike.

At first, I thought about saying that the Jobros would be their companion in each game, but I like more the idea of Hylia being their main Jobro.

Hylia can be Jonathan now that I think about it...

Nah, Hylia is Erina. Maybe Jonathan died to save her, but she's the one who saved the Joestar bloodline. Jonathan is the heart, but Erina is the soul, and together, they create the essence of the Joestars.

So yeah.

First and Jonathan are the start of their stories, while Hylia and Erina are the ones who saved their strong will.

If I had to pair a Jojo with a Link (hey, there are 9 of both groups!!!) I will pair them like this.

I won't be considering First to have 9 Links (unless I consider Jorge Joestar, so we would have 10 Joestars (but I haven't read the novel yet * cries *))

Jonathan and Sky. Both are the start, both have a heart of gold, and both are calm and gentle, yet they can kill with their strength (being one of the strongest in their bloodline).

Speedwagon and Groose. Both tried to hurt the protagonist but ended up being their most faithful friend. (Go send them to spend time together, they will get along I know).

Joseph gives me so much Warriors energy. So handsome, mischievous, and with girls behind them. I also headcanon Wars as some kind of Batman (having a plan for everything), so they surely will predict their enemie's actions. Joseph taught Wars the "Your next line will be ...". (I don't have evidence, but I don't have doubts, neither)

Lisa Lisa and Impa. Just that xd

I haven't played Hyreule Warriors, and I have tried to dodge spoilers as much as I can, so I don't know who would be Caesar. (Sorry)

Jotaro and Time. Both grumpy old men who come back after years to teach their descendant. Also, they are tough on the outside and soft on the inside (c'mon, Jotaro didn't have his morning kiss ONE day, and he searched his mother).

Kakyoin and Navi. The know-all that and best friend that dies at the end of the adventure. (well, that's what I headcanon for Navi. Navi, just like any fairy, disappears after completing her task, and her task was guiding Link).

Polnareff and Taya (the fairy in MM. I know she has another name in the English sub, but I can't remember the name. In Spanish, she's Taya, so I will call her like that). Both searched for someone who hurt their sibling, and they went on different paths after the adventure.

Polnareff debió casarse con Malèna y no tomaré un no como respuesta. No está a discusión.

Josuke and Wind. They both feel so adventurous and optimistic, but they can deal so much damage. Also they are very cool. Wind will destroy everything while Josuke fixes (I can see it).

Okuyasu and Linebeck. Both are helpful but silly xd.

Yo Angelo.

Giorno and Twilight. They will spend 19287372782 hours talking about animals and plants. Also serious on the outside, but lovely on the inside. They both are cute. (They smoll).

Mista and Midna. Even their names are alike xD. They help the protagonist, but they are mischievous. And they have more attention on the story than the protagonist xd.

Jolyne and Hyrule. Their worlds are ending, and they go like "MAXIMUM POWER!!!!". Also, I really find even poetic how they fight for a lost world and try everything. They see the beauty in something so tragic. What a wonderful world.

Rulie traveled alone, so I will say that the fairies and F.F. Because they heal the protagonist and because there are a lot of them xdxdxdxd.

Johnny and Legend. Bros can't have a rest. That's all I'm gonna say. I haven't finished Steel Ball Run yet (I just finished the Cath the Rainbow arc), but Johnny is so done with everything, and I know Legend feels the same.

Gyro and ... damn, Legend has so many adventures. I can't decide who I would pair with Gyro. It doesn't help I'm in the middle of Oracle of Seasons and A Link Between Worlds.

Gappy and Four. "WHO AM I?". Yeah, they have an identity crisis all the time. "I am made of two persons." "Well, I am made of FOUR." (5 if you consider Shadow).

Haven't read Jojolium, so besides Joshu and Yasuho, I don't know other Jobro. I haven't played Minish Cap or Four Swords, either. :^

Jodio and Wild. Little gremlins who have mental disorders and surely will burn everything because yes.

But Wild traveled alone (I don't have amiibo, sorry). And I don't feel like Zelda and Dragona would be alike. But I think I will leave it like that, both help the protagonist and have esteem for them.

Waos, that was a complete adventure. It was so funny to pair them like this. So so funny, really.

did not audition but was casted by the company, and joined because supportive mother Holly and musician father Sadao insisted

center of the group: Can sing using chest voice and slightly-higher speaking voice, can dance if required, and can sub as a rapper in case Joseph is unavailable

also visual of the group who draws in new fans and maintain old ones

definitely complained to Speedwagon why the hell he got so many roles

one of the more quiet ones of the bunch; helps build his mysterious aura among their fanbase

will try to calm down the members when chaos ensues but is often done with the group 80% of the time

chef no. 2 who specializes in Japanese cuisine

the most jumpy in a scary supernatural situation- will scream the loudest and will astral project out of his body if spooked hard enough

can pull out an angry tantrum if someone in the group pokes fun of his awesome pompadour; will be pout and be grumpy if the fans do it

Diamond is Unbreakable: Episode 1 Review

A solid beginning to the fourth part.

One of the most interesting things about Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is its commitment to genuine fresh starts at the beginning of every new part. Phantom Blood was a gothic horror story about vampires and family betrayal, Battle Tendency was a classic Hero’s Journey to defeat an ancient evil, Stardust Crusaders was a “bro-trip” around the world in fifty days, and Diamond is Unbreakable is a “hangout film” set in the town of Morioh with a bunch of dorky highschoolers.

These stories couldn’t be more different, and yet they’re bound together by a commitment to the absurd, the ridiculous, and the bizarre that pervades every scene. There’s not a single fight in this series that doesn’t have the tension cranked up to eleven the whole way through, and every weird, potentially off-putting moment is balanced out by the series’ constant assertion that everything happening is par for the course within the world.

Case in point, the first episode of Diamond is Unbreakable introduces us to Josuke Higashikata, a superpowered high school freshmen who gets violent if you insult his hair. Not only is this character normal for the series, he’s actually the protagonist of this part, and in the first scene we see him in he goes from a demure turtle-wrangler to a badass cloaked in shadow, all at this tiny provocation.

That’s not all there is to Josuke of course; as Jotaro Kujo, the protagonist from Stardust Crusaders, talks to him he shows an incredible amount of humility regarding his position as a lovechild bringing grief to the Joestars, and he also displays some cleverness in his fight with robber at the convenience store, using his Stand’s restorative abilities to punch through a woman safely and embed the robber’s knife into his stomach.1

The rest of the episode is focused on introducing us to Josuke’s family and the town of Morioh. His grandfather is a kind elderly cop who loves his daughter, a fiery-tempered badass whose rage clearly impacted her son. They unfortunately are also given the duty of providing exposition for Josuke, explaining who he is in ways we’ve already seen, which doesn’t make for a particularly engaging conversation.

Morioh is also introduced in fairly broad strokes as a peaceful town with a sinister secret, with one aspect of its underbelly being made clear with the introduction of a deranged criminal. This introduction pales in comparison to the opening scene of the episode, which sets a far more insidious tone by making us watch as a severed woman’s hand makes breakfast to a cheery song on the local radio. It’s a hell of an opener, and it’s guaranteed to set the tone for the rest of Part 4.

Stray Observations

1It’s also worth noting that Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure takes a lot of cues from the horror genre, especially body horror, and I’ll be damned if it isn’t effective.

So, I’m not actually the biggest fan of subs because of how literal the translations tend to be, and that was pretty readily apparent in this episode (I watched it on CrunchyRoll; it’s totally possible that there’s a fansub out there that’s stronger). Honestly, the only reason I tend to watch subs more often is because of how weak dubs’ voice acting tends to be, even though they tend to have more figurative and colorful (and thus better) translations (which I imagine arises from a need for actors to actually read the English version of their lines).

Josuke is probably my second favorite Jojo, though I’ve yet to finish Stone Ocean, which might change my mind.

My favorite Jojos in order: Joseph, Josuke, Jolyne, Giorno, Jonathan, Jotaro.

My favorite parts in order: Battle Tendency, Diamond is Unbreakable, Phantom Blood, Vento Aureo, Stardust Crusaders. I’m not ranking Stone Ocean until I’m finished with it.

Decided to do Josiah’s vampire hunting outfit as a mini sub-follow up to when i first drew him, and also because he needed it as the outfit him and Dante were first drawn in are like in the Pre-Mask stuff era.

After word is given to him by the mysterious Baretta Springsteen that his adopted brother who turned himself into a vampire had survived the mansion fire she offers to train him in the art of Hamon which allows one to channel the sun’s power via breathing. With his trusted companion Maverick C. Fleetwood and the couple other Hamon users that had joined their little party group, he is hopeful that he can put an end to Dante once and for all.

Slight ramble! So because Josiah is already somewhat based on Jotaro it felt best for me to give him a little long coat, i needed to keep his design relatively simple compared to the JoJos after him because Jonathan follows the same sort of design thing.

He’s a bit more modest compared to Jonathan and i don’t exactly know how or why since i had originally had him in a similar wear to Jonathan (i.e Tank-Crop top).

Josiah originally had his scarf be brought with him but like Josei the neck ended up being cluttered in a bad way and also it’s just really hard to draw and colour in since it’s based on JoJonium Jona’s scarf.

He has a whip as his main weapon because The Passion is technically rope and also because it’s a Castlevania reference. The little rose is mainly a reference to the fact that The Passion had rose petals surround it when it first gets summoned, it will take Luck Pluck’s spot but will have thre placeholder name of “Kiss from a Rose”.

“Kiss from a Rose” reaches to his feet btw.

So because Part 1 and 2 aren’t Stand focused everyone who isn’t Joseph and Dio are replaced by OCs who just somewhat fit the bill and mayhaps i could repurpose them into regular Stands if i have any ideas.

Baretta Springsteen (She/Her) = Takes Baron Zeppeli’s role, named after Bruce Springsteen.

Maverick C. Fleetwood (He/Him) = Takes Robert E.O Speedwagon’s role, named after Fleetwood Mac.

Rita Prudence (She/Her) = Takes Erina Pendleton’s role, named after the songs “Lovely Rita” and “Dear Prudence” by the Beatles.

Joan Joestar (She/Her) = Takes George Joestar’s role, named after the girl in “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” by the Beatles.

Unpopular opinion: Phantom Blood is a good starting point and best viewed dubbed in English.

The corny accents, the Victorian British vernacular, Patrick Seitz OWNING Dio Brando. It didn’t change the plot but added a layer of entertainment to what some tell to skip over.

To say nothing of Ben Disken going full pussy as Joseph Joestar in Battle Tendency.

okay you may recognize a similar post from before but thanks to @paintersmonster, i am compelled to finally release my proper thoughts on all the jojos if they were to be in an idol group.

NOW

Like what they mentioned in their poll, let's say there are 3 subunits: Hip-Hop Unit (aka Rap unit), Vocal Unit, and Performance Unit (aka Dance unit) yes like Seventeen because i love them

Aside from their units, they will also be given roles. I'll be explaining some for those unfamiliar with the terminologies.

P.S These are my own thoughts that may or not be biased, but I will try to be objective about them.

Jonathan Joestar: Leader, Vocal Unit (Main Vocalist)

Leader role is obvious since he's the oldest among the members and is the most responsible and dutiful to his tasks

Knowing his demeanor, I honestly can't see him in any other role than being the main singer, with his sweet voice and passionate aura

If you were to ask him how's his dance performance is, he'd respond that he's still working on it because the steps seems a bit hard for this giant puppy to follow

Joseph Joestar: Performance Unit (Main Dancer), Lead Rapper

For Mr. Nigerundayo, I actually debated if he should be a Main Dancer or Main Rapper because he gives off this wild energy to fit both roles.

But I decided to give him the Main Dancer role instead because he leans more towards anything that will hype him up and what better role is there but being an excellent dancer.

He'd rock the "cool" concept so well.

I also gave him the Lead Rapper role because of the energy he gives off. He'd drop some sick bars not gonna lie.

So sick in fact one could mistake him as the Main Rapper of the group

Can't sing for shit. Sorry Joseph.

As reference for his dance style, see the choreo for "Hit", "Very Nice", and "Miroh"

Jotaro Kujo: Center of the Group, Hip-Hop Unit (Main Rapper), Lead Vocalist

Yes... he's my vote in their poll.

BECAUSE by definition, "the Center is a term that refers to a group member who receives the most support and publicity from their agency... Because of their popularity and/or looks, a particular member is always placed in the center, getting the most spotlight."

Now we all know Stardust Crusaders is the most popular/promoted part in the JJBA universe, and guess who's the poster boy of JJBA as well as the most reoccurring Jojo?

His aesthetic, deep rough voice, and passive-aggressive shade energy gives off Main Rapper vibes for some reason

He also looks the part so-

The sole reason why I placed him as Lead Vocalist is because I've heard his VA Daisuke Ono is actually a singer soooo-

Also projecting a bit, but he's good at dancing- the type of dancer who uses controlled, sharp movements and often uses his sex appeal to his advantage.

Josuke Higashikata: Performance Unit (Lead Dancer), Lead Rapper, Sub Vocalist

Like father like son, I also interchanged which unit he should be in, but again like Joseph, I see him more as a Lead Dancer because of his fun, outgoing energy similar to Joseph's chaotic, wild one.

But his rap is just as good that he gives of Lead Rapper vibes

I can see his dancing style to be more bouncy and "pop-like", one that matches the vibe of the "summer", "school", "bubblegum" concepts.

Also, thanks to Jonathan's help, the kid's also interested in singing so I can see him wanting to learn how to sing and be a back-up for any of the vocalists.

As reference, his dance style is similar to the choreos of TXT like "CROWN", "Run Away", "Blue Hour", and "New Rules"

Giorno Giovanna: Vocal Unit (Lead Vocalist), Producer

Hear me out-

Because of Jonathan's influence yet again (and that Giorno seems to be closest with him), he is brought up and trained to be a vocalist like he is

And in my head, I feel like his demeanor gives me ballad singer for some reason just like Jonathan...

So the reason why I also placed Producer is that I headcanon Giorno to be an expert with instruments and has a near perfect pitch mindset, making him able to create some melodies for the group.

I may or may not also have placed the viral "Vento Aureo theme" as basis for this role as well, making it like he made those beats in some alternate universe

Jolyne Cujoh: Performance Unit (Lead Dancer), Lead Rapper

Even though she's the only female in the group, she proves everyone that she is capable of being as engaging and energetic as the boys in the unit she's in and in the group in general.

Because she gives off Joseph-vibes, I placed her in the Performance Unit, being able to pull off that "street-style" dance.

As reference, Jolyne gives me big Itzy vibes (aesthetic-wise and music-wise) or just the general "girl crush" and "teen" concept.

No but listen to "Not Shy" and "Wannabe" by Itzy and you'll see-

She also gives of "ANTIFRAGILE" vibes from Le Sserafim and "Tomboy" from (G)-Idle just wanna add

Johnny Joestar: Hip-Hop Unit (Main Rapper)

I'm gonna be frank... I dont know much about the Jojos of the new universe so take the next Jojos to come with a grain of salt

What I know of Johnny is that he's the Jonathan's AU self and is different from him

And that he's also paraplegic (hence why he's not placed in the Performance Unit or any Dance roles)

As the Main Vocalist's AU self, I just find it neat if he would take the role of Main Rapper to parallel

I don't know the guy much but I think he can pull off bars

Josuke "Gappy" Higashikata: Hip-Hop Unit (Lead Rapper), Sub Vocalist

Again don't know the guy aside from he's the fusion of two other dudes and that he has amnesia

Also meant to parallel P4 Josuke's role as Lead Dancer, I decided to put him here because there were no other slots left for him I'm sorry

But I believe he can surprise the audience with his hidden talents

Somehow, I can see him being interested in singing as well so he invested some time in vocal lessons to improve his vocals.

Jojo 9: Hip-Hop Unit (Lead Rapper)

We don't know the dude aside from his looks, but based on his outfit, he fits in with this unit so yeah :>
