#talkys #IM SCAREEDDDD #ive gotten a bit used to needles after all the covid shots but idk.#the Blood Draw Location is an entirely different beast #ykwim. vaccine injections are ok bc its the shoulder its so Secure #middle of arm feels so flimsy and frail. scared #qnd its not even ever all that bad (at least vaccines bc ive only gotten blood drawn once)#but i get sooooo anxious and then the waiting and the pulling out feels so horrendous too.#like the last covid vaccine i got wasnt bad at all! but i feel it lingered too long and i wanted to jump out of my skin.#rambling now but i annoy medical professionals bc for some reason whenever Anything happens to me #(not just injections bc its happened at the ENT too) my legs always want to fly straight up into the air #(or just Straight if im sitting)#its the equivalent of tensing another part of the body to stay calm for me idk why....weird security...#but i always get yelled at LOL like sorry i dont even do it consciously....im Scared....

hi hi okay imagine. stede wants to brush out ed's hair the way izzy always does. maybe izzy is busy on deck taking note of damages after a raid. maybe they had an infestation and he's going over ration spoilage and inventory with roach. ed is tired and cranky and absentmindedly separating sections of curls and tugging them apart at the bottom where they get stuck together in knots. stede offers to help with the tangles, says he would love to give it a go and help ed relax

izzy walks in a few minutes later and immediately comes up and tells stede he's doing it all wrong but also gently takes the brush from him and shows him the right way - where to hold the hair, how to start at the bottom with little sections and work his way up, when to start with his fingers instead of the brush. neither of them can see it but ed is smiling so much his face might actually burst

#ofmd hc #steddyhands #izzy hands #edward teach #stede bonnet #listen. you really think stede knows how to do hair #no way did he have an intimate enough connection with mary to do this for her #and alma's hair looks fairly thin and straight so even if he did give the occasional brush before bedtime long curly hair is so different #especially out in the ocean air?? that is not a ten second process to undo let me tell you #yes I'm strongly in club izzy-did-jeff's-hair but even if he didn't then I think it would have been ed #stede simply doesn't have the experience and know-how - yet #izzy on the other hand. i like to think this is something of a ritual that they have #ed sitting back with his leg stretched out at the end of a long day and izzy behind him first working out the tangles slowly bit by bit #then once all the tangles are gone just brushing from the top of his scalp down the full length of his hair in long and gentle strokes #izzy would have him practically purring and when he's done ed would be ready to fall asleep right then and there #izzy nudging ed to get into bed because he might not care now but he'll care in the morning if sleeping here fucks up his knee or back #(because no one is more of an expert at taking care of ed than izzy)#maybe their ritual can change to involve izzy starting on each section and undoing the worst of the knots with his fingers #then stede following it up with brushing out each section #stede doing the post-tangle brushing until ed's hair is as soft as it can be while izzy lies next to ed with his head in ed's lap #bonus: ed now gets to run his hands through izzy's hair too can you imagine #ANYWAY i'm here for this very soft tender stizzy moment of izzy teaching stede to properly care for ed #just a little post

I am gonna sit down and do nothing today #I’ve been walking constantly for the past three days it feels like #and I have chronic pain so this isn’t gonna end well for me #gonna have to…. sleep a lot for the next couple days #it hurts in a straight line from my second toe and my fourth toe on my left foot up to my knee on both sides of the bones in my leg not good #oof. the bottom of my feet feels like they are on fire still #my heels are so sore #I don’t want to go to the mall ever again except to go to build a bear and no where else tbh #maybe barns and noble but eh. I like the one at town center plaza better

#(( ooc. ))#spiders tw #guys i just found a really cute male grey cross spider on the living room floor #banded legs and these really cool chevron patterns on his abdomen #really pronounced pedipalps. guys i just love spiders okay.#i put him in a jar and gently moved him to a safer part of the house so he doesnt get stepped on or b. gets eaten by a cat #but like. spiders guys. he was adorable. i freaking love spiders.#which works out bc hubby is scared of them. but he puts up with me bringing them to him and gushing about them #like i straight stole his phone to shine a light on the little guy so i could show hubby the patterning #and hubby was just sitting there nodding along #he calls me when he sees a spider in the house and i very gently and carefully move them to a safer spot. works out perfect #anyway. spiders y'all. truly top 10 cutest animals for me.

So I jokingly changed my Love & Deepspace bio to "I would injure myself just to end up in Zayne's Office"... Long story short I ended up in the hospital for an injury lol... I would like to say this doctor was nothing like Dr. Zayne and I was highly dissatisfied with my visit.

.... Oh, and the fact that I now have to get a second opinion because he didn't advise me on ANYTHING. Who the fuck denies someone an MRI because they didn't want their FIRST course of treatment to be GOING UNDER THE KNIFE??

#long story short i told him i didnt want surgery (who tf does)#and instead of offering alternatives he straight up refused to give me an MRI if i didnt want to pursue the surgical route #so now im sitting here with no idea how bad of shape my leg is actually in #other than im still on crutches and in a brace...#dude didnt even recommended rehabilitation or anything #American Healthcare at its finest 🖕

my cat does this too and i think he’s tallying every time i wake him up like he’s keeping score bc he also seems to think it is totally justified to hit me on my head while im sleeping and scream in my ear to wake me up. and i guess seeing as i do also wake him up sometimes, it is only fair….
