gonna make this one headcanons too🫶🏻(also low key feel like he and I would be the same when it comes to mario kart so some of these might be me projecting🤣)
Mario Kart (Wii version) with Stiles: HCs
first things first, y’all are situated on the couch or the ottoman if there is one, gotta be close to the screen
just using the wii remote is for chumps so obviously he has the wheel controllers
he is always Baby Mario and you consistently try and steal him so now it’s a race to see who can get Baby Mario first too when y’all start to play
he will turn his body with the wheel so expect bumped shoulders
he also leans forward and then pulls back when he’s tryna get the hidden speed-ups (if y’all are sitting on the ottoman he will fall off at least twice and that’s when you try and sneak ahead of him in the race)
his tongue poking out in concentration all the time
he will be *almost* yelling in annoyance if he gets hit with a blue shell: lots of "nonononononnono's" and "goddammit's"
whenever you get close to him in the race or close to beating him he starts pushing you (playfully ofc) to get you to mess up and slow down or hit something, if you’re on the ottoman expect to fall off at some point but if you’re on the couch expect him to fully lay on you on his side and smush you into the cushions (anything to winnnnn)
coin battles are the only option when you don't want the usual race (balloon battles are "lame and not as much fun" but mostly because he can never win those ones)
the cows in moo moo meadows are his self-declared arch nemesis’
he beat rainbow road once in third place and refuses to play it again, that was his victory and he will not try for first place even though it hurts him that he didn't technically win
when he wins it’s all a big show: jumping up, hands in the air, whooping, doin a lil jig but then he sees you pout and goes🥺and gives you all the kisses where you sit and cuddles you into the couch as an apology
when you win you just smile big at him and his pout and poke his sides to get him to smile and after a while it starts a tickle fight and he ends up giving up and calling uncle and then you promise kisses to make up for beating him

How Stiles Became Derek's Anchor by Being Annoying:
Alright hear me out: they're forced to interact through circumstance and Derek finds Stiles so obnoxious that he just can’t ignore him or his scent. It gets to the point where he just… smells it all the fucking time, even when Stiles isn't there. He'll be running errands and suddenly he catches a whiff of Stiles off his leather jacket and he’s so fucking done with it all. Then, as he slowly begins to trust Stiles, he starts automatically seeking it out. He can smell Stiles approaching from miles away and it becomes his focal point, because as annoying as it is, it also makes him feel safe.
Then by the time 3B rolls around, Derek’s the only one who can track Stiles's scent from memory alone. And Derek is just too embarrassed to explain that he can only do it because he accidentally Pavlov'ed himself into having the world's most annoying anchor lol.

Some Sterek thoughts I like
As requested by my awesome ride or die bestie mutual @that-grunge-fae here are some Sterek bits that I enjoy! Let me know if you want more!
They get together just after the Nogitsune. After months/years of pining and ST that you could cut with a knife, Derek finally snaps after realising just how close he had come to losing Stiles for good, the pain that came with somebody else wearing his skin.
Contrary to popular belief, Stiles makes the first move. In the summer whilst looking for Erica and Boys (whom stay alive and well in my head because I love them), he starts spending more time with Derek, bringing games and food and bullying Derek into actually living somewhere other than the ruins of his house. He does it knowingly and with the grudging support of his father.
Saying that, the Sheriff is not stupid. He knows there is more than meets the eye, and he also knows he would not be able to stop Stiles if he tried. He knew he would have to wait for Stiles to come to him. With that said, he also knows that Derek is a good kid, and a kid he is, he can remember how he was in the Before. He never believed Derek would do those things, and does not say a word when he gets reports of his son spending inordinate amounts of time with him.
In fact, the Sheriff is the one who starts off the Packwide bet, much to the horror of Scott.
He and Melissa both bet correctly, saying it would happen after Stiles is faced with unimaginable danger and certain death, within the year.
Scott says it will never happen at all in his denial
Lydia and Boyd get the closest after the parents, also saying within the year, but without the specifics
Erica bets within a moth for all of the tension between the two, Isaac says two years, and Jackson just ignores them all, but agrees with Erica. The pack just;; avoid Peter and discussing it with him
Stiles makes Derek get so flustered. Pet names and casual affection galore. Sweethearts and Darling and Babe. Brushing a hand along his back, his hands. Resting a chin over his shoulder. It amuses the Pack to a great extent.
Derek is more of a silent affectionate type. Gift giving is his love language. Repairing the Jeep, finding magical tomes, sending Stiles random article links he thinks he will enjoy.
There is no big or little spoon, because Stiles just flops. Everywhere. They are always entangled and sprawled out.
They can both cook, Derek from years on the hiding from Hunters with Laura, and Stiles from after his mother's death, and it is a major sore spot for both of them, but it doesn't mean they don't enjoy doing it. They surprise each other with homemade lunches and dinner dates. Derek even makes the Sheriff some heart healthy, but still delicious, meals he can enjoy at the station because he has more free time, and wants both of the Stilinski men to be happy.
Stiles slipped a house key onto the Camaro keys one day, without saying anything, and Derek doesn't notice until Stiles locks himself out of the house one day and calls. Derek will deny being emotional about it, even more so when the Sheriff calls him Son and welcomes him home every time.
Derek doesn't get a chance to give Stiles a housekey, purely for the fact Stiles went ahead and made copies of every important key in Beacon Hills for himself, but Derek does give him a key to the Camaro, which is even more emotional.

Isaac Lahey Hcs
Hey gang! I started rewatching Teen Wolf again, and I want to write about one of my favourite werewolves (sorry Remus). Anyway, this ended up being kinda angsty, hope you enjoy!!
he can’t stand the taste of coffee. It’s way too bitter for him, even with milk and sugar in it
he drinks tea though. He gets a lot of headaches around the full moon, so drinking ginger tea helps sometimes, but he can’t drink too much of it. Because of that, his second favourite tea is green tea
while he didn’t love working at the graveyard, the peace and quiet was nice. It was an opportunity to just sit and listen to his music, away from anyone who wanted to judge or hurt him.
a literal heater. He’s that one guy who wears shorts and a thin coat in the dead of winter
despite this, he absolutely loves jumpers and sweaters. Especially oversized ones that he can hide in. He keeps certain ones for when he’s having a bad day, so he can just bury himself in all the soft material
when he has a panic attack (which is often), he usually ends up grabbing one and curling up into a tight ball in the corner of his room
he makes sure that when he does, he keeps the door and window wide open. On one hand, he doesn’t want anyone to see, but his fear of being locked in far outweighs his embarrassment, and so the door stays open.
people think he’s this really sporty guy because he always takes the stairs, but it’s really because he can’t stand the idea of being trapped in the lift
after finding out about this, Scott takes it upon himself to challenge Isaac to race up the stairs. Stiles just takes the lift and meets them up/down there when they’re done
his favourite subjects in school are maths and French, because they just seem to make sense to him. For him, the numbers are easy to follow, it’s a bit like a puzzle, the logic behind it is fun
it’s for this reason he enjoys languages too. the similarities and differences between ones that have the same root language are fascinating to him, and he manages to pick them up really quickly. It was really useful when he moved to France, since he already knew a little and was more than willing to learn.
when he first met Boyd and Erica, his first thought was “oh fuck, they’re hot”, but he never said anything. He never really had the opportunity to explore his sexuality; between school, working at the graveyard, and hiding from his dad, he never really thought about it, and becoming a werewolf only added to the drama
it ended up being Erica who brought it up. It started off as a joke, just a light-hearted comment at Derek’s bus/den/hideout (literally what is that place?)
it was late, but close to the full moon. They were all way too antsy to sleep, which lead to an interesting round of late night confessions.
they cycled through the expected ones; Erica’s epilepsy, Boyd’s social anxiety, and before long they realised they all had a bit more in common than they had first realised.
that’s when Erica flippantly said “y’know, I think we would have made a pretty hot couple” “couple? Which one of us” Boyd questioned, looking between Isaac and Erica. “All three of us, duh” “oh.........oh”
and the rest is history
that was actually one of the only good parts of being with Derek, since it became kind of reminiscent of his time with his dad. He though life would get better once he left, but it was all pretty similar, what with the broken bones and emotional abuse
going with Scott was the best decision he ever made, although it’s not like he actually had much choice with Derek kicking him out the loft
for the first time ever, he actually felt like he had a home
I can’t help but feel like he was one of those kids that would just absolutely light up whenever something mundane happened
like, a bumble bee flying past him, or finding the park full of small daisies
when he was really young, his mum taught him how to make daisy chains, and he made one for everyone in his family
his dad ended up throwing his away, claiming “boys don’t play with flowers”, which resulted in an argument between him and his mum
whenever their parents would argue, Isaac’s older brother would distract him, either with a new video game, or the cool tree they could climb in the back garden
when their mum died, everything changed. Cam went to the army, and his dad...well, we know what his dad did
Cam coming home every now and then was some of the only relief Isaac had from his father. His dad wouldn’t try anything when he knew Cam was there
when Cam then died too, Isaac spent more time in that tree in the garden, but he no longer picked daisies
I think it’s only when he’s older and living in France, that he walks past a flower stall, and stops to buy a small bunch of daisies to put in his window at home
almost like some kind of memorial. A monument to his survival despite everything
And I think I'll leave it there for now!! Sorry it got a bit angsty at the end there, but I hope you enjoyed it regardless. I want to write another list like this one soon, but with exam season coming up, it might take a little while. Feel free to send me some suggestions though and I'll check them when I can!!

Hear me out
Let's say in that first year after everyone goes their separate ways Derek is trying to process everything inside him that he didn't have time to during the traumatic events and he manages to figure out his feelings for Stiles, maybe seek treatment etc. However, he still doesn't consider himself worthy of being with Stiles for various reasons [one being: Stiles got out. He wasn't going to be the one to drag him back]
So he spends some time "finding himself" and ends up living some time with Cora, where he meets a wity, sweet and sarcastic girl (who reminds him of someone, not that he realizes it at the time) and develops a relationship with her.
They are living well, in a pack, she gets pregnant and they have a baby. But then things happen [insert whatever you like at this point, hunters, another pack seeking territory, witches, whatever] and when he comes back (from some trip?) she is dead as are most of the pack, and Derek is left with a child without a mother and both he and Cora are yet again without a family.
Cora helps where she can but he goes into depression (lets face It , another death of someone close after everything he's been through and with a little life to take care of "alone" its a bit overwhelming ) so they move back to BC, in search of a familiar place to raise the child and with the support of some acquaintances (John and by extension Melissa) but Cora can't last long in the city, she feels trapped and suffocated in this place and Derek realizes this and sends her away.
That's where Stiles make an appearance.

It's not like he's gone, they talk from time to time via text, exchanging updates etc, but after the latest events Derek has stopped communicating with him and he seeks explanations for the "radio silence". Shortly after John, in a ordinary conversations with his son, mentions that Derek has returned to live in BC and is helping with some police cases as a consultant but he noticed that he was not doing very well mentally and with a son to raise alone.
Stiles' first reaction is something like "I can't believe he's back to that hellmouth of a city", the second is "wait, what child?!"
So clearly Derek hadn't updated him very well on those messages.
Point being, Stiles takes some time off to "visit his dad" in BC, with obvious intentions of looking for Derek and seeking explanations.
Arriving there what he finds it's a man in a bad headspace who's been beaten down by life one too many times and a 4 years old Eli whom Stiles falls in love with at first sight.
Stiles ends up staying longer than expected in BC, in time reconnecting with Derek in the best way he knows how: getting under his skin most of the time, giving him time to work though his loss and helping raise Eli.
They grow closer, Stiles finally acknowledge his feelings for Derek, and Derek goes back to having a family.
Eli clearly starts to pick up on Stiles' mannerisms as he grows up, much to Derek's exasperation. John gains a grandson and his son close to him again.

(In my mind the events of the film (which is bullshit btw) takes effect in a period when Stiles traveled on some long-term FBI mission or something.
Yes, Derek still dies in my HC because I love angst too much.
But he leaves Eli in John's care in Stiles' absence.)

After a week without communication Peter (yes, he's an asshole but I like him, so he's gonna be good in his own distorted way, fight me) seeks Stiles personally, tells him what happened and after a few moments of shock in which Stile's barely able to breathe or move, asks Peter how to fix it (Derek being gone). Peter smiles "That's why I like you."
After all in BC nothing is permanent, often not even death. Peter would know.

Although It's not like they snap their fingers and everything it's rainbows and flowers. [Not like it's magic right? ha]
Stiles goes back home, refuses to even talk to his former pack, then eventually screams at them for letting that happen. Parish won't stop apologizing even though nobody blames him.
They grieve, Eli it's inconsolable and traumatized, John helps where he can while thinking about retiring and leaving this hell of a city, Stiles, Peter and later Cora pour themselves in researching a way to get Derek back.
They find nothing.

It happens almost by itself, in the end.
Three months later Lidya wakes up screaming. She calls Stiles frantic, saying he has to be by the Nemeton asap. It's a night of blue moon, the night it's bright, but the preserve it's dark with black clouds, that Stiles later notice are not clouds but smoke. At the Nemeton the stump of the tree it's alight engulfed in fire. He can't get closer at the same time he feels a pull towards it.
When the moon gets to it's peak the fire goes out by itself leaving just smoke. And stumbling out of it is him.
Derek.
Covered in shoot, unsteady, eyes bright red, naked, beautiful and most importantly, alive.

A week later they visit the nemeton again, but the pull, the connection Stiles had with it it's no longer there. The darkness Deaton once said would be within him foverever it's no longer there.
In the blackened stump of the old tree there's one single sprout.

The Online Gaming Community that Battles Mythical Creatures
"Stiles," Scott called out to the skinny boy sitting at his desk with his pencil dangling out of his mouth.
"Hmm?" Stiles swivelled around in the chair to look at his best friend, who was currently spread eagled on his bed.
"Do you kill werewolves?"
"What???"
"In your...online gaming community that battles mythical creatures...do you kill werewolves?"
"Uh..." he pulled the pencil out of his mouth, giving him one of his extaggerated facial expressions. "Well, the ones who want to kill me, yeah."
"What about the ones who don't want to kill you?" He questioned.
Stiles seemed at a loss for words, "Scott- it's a game! Every werewolf wants to kill me. So I have to kill them first. That's like, the point of battling mythical creatures!"
"Oh... so, do you- do you kill banshees too?"
"Uh...no? They don't have banshees. You didn't even know what that was till we found out about Lydia, dude!"
"Oh."
"Are you offended right now!?! Our friendship hasn't been a lie you know! You look like you're questioning your entire view of me! I'm not going to randomly start killing them out of the blue, dude! It's not-"
"I'm not! I'm not!" Scott interrupted his friend's frantic hand gestures, knowing how he could go on this rant for an hour if he let him. "But how come you never told me about this before?"

I’ve made a post about the “You’re not gay.”-“Not dressed like that.” line before, reasoning that the Sheriff knows Stiles dresses up (a blazer or jacket usually) when he wants to impress people.
But what if Sheriff Stilinski was just roasting the shit out of his son for going to a gay club dressed in a shirt, hoodie, and jeans?
