Tell me you want this
Isaac Lahey x Fem!Stilinski!Reader
Warning(s): canon-level stuff, blood, making out, mentions of sex
Summary: In a life that is constantly on the move, you appreciate the small moments much more. Especially if they're with Isaac.
Tumblr media
"It'll just heal in a few minutes, you know," Isaac said.
"I know," you replied, sitting on his bed next to him.
You pulled a baby wipe from its package and held Issac's chin between your thumb and forefinger, moving his head to look him over.
It had been a particularly bad fight, for everyone. The kind of fight where you needed the rest of the night to just heal; physically, mentally, emotionally.
And, of course, you wouldn't let Isaac do it on his own.
You began wiping at a spot on his face, gliding the cloth over the apple of his cheek.
"If Stiles finds out about this, he's gonna be upset," Isaac said, watching your face contort as you worked.
"Yeah, well," you moved his head to the other side, frowning at the mention of your brother. "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
You and Isaac had known each other forever. Being in the same grade, it would’ve been hard not to notice one another, but even besides that you had a connection. You were sort of friends.
Not the kind that hung out outside of school, but the loners who ate lunch under the bleachers and spent free periods in the library.
You also covered for him whenever he wasn’t in school, finding out about his home life after his dad had a particularly bad day.
You’d cleaned him up then, too.
Isaac gently grabbed your wrist, "and Derek-"
"Derek's not gonna hurt me."
You'd long since perfected sneaking into Derek's loft to see Isaac. You suspected that he knew you were there. Being a seasoned werewolf, you were sure he could hear the extra heartbeat, if not smell your scent.
But you didn't care, and clearly neither did he.
But Isaac? Isaac cared.
Ever since he became a werewolf, and you were further pulled into the bullshit that came along with that, he’d been protective in a way he hadn’t before.
You weren’t sure if it was a wolf thing or if Isaac felt some kind of obligation to you. Either way, you wouldn’t let him keep you out of it.
Tossing the wipe in the trash, you put your hand to his now clean cheek. "Relax."
He eyed you for a long moment, searching, before he took a deep breath and leaned into your touch.
The shape of his jaw pressed into your palm, his hand wrapping around your wrist gently, as if just to touch you.
Silence surrounded you, only the sound of your heartbeats and breathing cutting through.
That and the tension that hung palpably in the small space between you.
"You know," he pulled at the new hole in his shirt. "I think you better get this one, too."
You smiled, shaking your head. "I guess I better."
He wasted no time in pulling the material over his head and tossing it somewhere else in the room, making you laugh.
You scooted closer to him, crossing your legs under you and pulling another wipe from the package.
"Oh, Isaac," you said, taking in the wound. "It must've hurt."
He shrugged. "You'd be surprised how much the adrenaline can mask...and I'm used to pain."
He was so close now, close enough you could feel his breath on your cheek as you cleaned him up.
You focused on the task at hand because if you didn't, you'd notice the way he was staring at you. And you weren't sure what you'd do if you met his eyes.
He was fitter than he used to be, the tone of his chest and abs more prominent, his arms more muscular.
You unconsciously lifted your other hand to drag it down his chest.
He shivered under your touch. "Y/N..."
You swallowed, stilling your hand on his shoulder as you continued to clean him up.
"Y/N," he said again, making you look up at him.
His eyes were already on you, as you suspected, looking at you with so much intensity you wondered what he was thinking.
"Yes?"
He was so beautiful, especially this close.
You could see every line on his face, every freckle, every mole. The sculpt of his nose, the part of his lips. The dim light made the blue of his eyes seem darker, or maybe that was just the way he was looking at you.
He lightly pushed down your hand that had stilled on his chest so that he could lean closer, brushing his nose against yours.
"Tell me you want this."
His breath fanned your lips, and you sucked in a breath. "Isaac-"
"I can hear your heartbeat," he said. "I can tell how nervous you are...don't be. Tell me you want this."
You released the breath, shakily. "Yes. Yes, please, kiss me."
He leaned in, pressing his lips softly against yours.
You kissed him back, hesitantly. So hesitantly that he stopped, but didn't go far, allowing you the power to continue if you wanted. And you did.
More confidently this time, you kissed him. And he kissed you back.
You didn't realize how much you'd wanted this until now. How kissing him felt akin to breathing; natural, easy, like if you stopped, you might die.
It was a natural progression that he pulled you closer by your waist, his hands rough but gesture gentle, slow.
Your hands slid their way over the shape of his arms, then shoulders, then neck before they finally stopped to tangled themselves in his hair.
He hummed into your mouth, dragging his tongue over your bottom lip, and you parted them. His tongue slid over yours, experimentally, trying to find a rhythm.
You tugged against his hair.
That caused him to moan.
His fingers were ghosting just under your shirt when-
"Isaac, I need you to- oh my god."
You jumped apart, faces burning, as Derek stood in the doorway of Isaac's room.
It was pointless to try to look innocent, Isaac was shirtless for Christ's sake.
"Okay, I've clearly let this go on too long, I don't need you having sex in here."
"We weren't going to have sex!" Isaac protested, and you hid your face in your hands.
"Maybe not yet," Derek replied, crossing his arms. "How'd you get here anyway?"
"Walked," you replied sheepishly.
"Great, now I'm going to have to take you home. They're going to think I've kidnapped you."
"I can walk home."
"After that fight today? I'm surprised you made it here, let alone getting back."
"I can take her back," Isaac offered.
"And have you get busy in my car? Yeah, no, thanks."
"We wouldn't-" Isaac groaned. "Fine."
"Let's go. Now."
Too embarrassed to protest, you stood and followed Derek out the door.
Boyd and Erica were sitting in the main room and looked at you with wide eyes when they saw you come out of Isaac's room.
Great, you thought. Now it looks like a walk of shame.
"Y/N, wait."
You turned as Isaac came out of his room, holding your jacket in his hand.
"You, uh, forgot this," he said, blushing as everyone looked at him.
Face hot, you took it from him. "Thanks."
You put it on as Derek grabbed his keys and the two of you disappeared out the door.
Then Boyd and Erica's eyes drifted back to Isaac.
"...what?"
Erica split into a grin. "So, Stilinski, huh?"
"Shut up."

You were at school, leaning against your locker. smiling at and laughing with Stiles, until you caught Isaac glaring at you across the hall, visibly upset.
"alright Stiles I've got to go now, I'll see ya" you walked away after Stiles nodded and walked to Scott, and you made your way to Isaac.
"hey" you flashed him a smile and he blushed. How could he not? he thought you were the most beautiful thing ever.
The beta glanced over Stiles before turning back to you. "hey.." he spoke softly.
"Just tired... I uhh, I’ve got a lot on my mind lately" he said slowly and softly, not wanting to ruin this moment between you two.
You nodded slowly, feeling bad for him. "well you know, you can always talk to me" you said softly, reassuring him that he's got someone by his side.
You watched him closely as he looked at you quietly, and you didn't want to rush him to speak, you knew how sensitive Isaac is. It made him feel pathetic when he opened up to anyone or asked for help, that's what his dad has taught him. That a man is a man, boys don't cry, but Isaac knew you, he loved you, trusted you, and he knew your listen and get him anytime.
"I've just been going back.. thinking about my family" He looked down as his expression softened.
"oh" you whispered softly and placed your hand on the boy's back, rubbing it gently. "I know you've suffered from your dad your whole life, but his death Isn’t your fault".
Isaac flinched, but he didn't move away from you. Even though your gesture was tiny, it felt huge to him, It made him on top of the world. He let out a soft sigh and ran his fingers through his hair. "I know... I just-" he paused, unsure if he can keep going or not, but he really counted on you, so he kept going. "I didn't even cry at the funeral and everyone thinks I don't care, that I was wishing the whole time i'd get rid of him, and the problem is.. it's true. I was relieved that he's dead"
"Honey listen to me" you took a step closer, placing both your hands on his shoulder. "your dad used to lock you in a freezer. that night.. that night he hurt you and you ran like any other night, because you didn't know what he would die" you then place your hand on isaac's cheek, caressing it softly "you were just scared, you did nothing wrong"
Isaac paused for a moment and leaned into your touched as he shivered. The relief he felt when his father died was a burden to him, but he knew you were saying the truth so he bit his lip thoughtfully. He wanted to say that your hand felt to right on his skin, but he didn't and rubbed his face with his hand then looked at you hesitantly as he spoke. "I- Iwas scared" his voice trembled as he stammered softly, making you unsure if he meant you to hear him. he slowly smiled at you softly and leaned into your touch again, causing his breath to hitch.
you sighed softly as you try to build up some courage and confidence to ask him to go out with you, but you were too scared that he'd turn you down so you just looked quietly at the ground until you heard a familiar 5 taps on the locker next to you and looked to the direction to see lydia. She must have noticed your flustered face because she tilted her head at Isaac and winked at you. You two have been talking about it and she was eager for you to confess to him, and apparently she was so sure Isaac wouldn't let you down for a reason she wouldn't tell.
you snapped out of my trance as Isaac cleared his throat and looked at the same direction you were just looking at, except there was nobody there.
"sorry about that. I was just wondering if you would want to go home with me? I mean-" You paused and took a deep breath. "why don't you come over and we can just.. relax?" you asked nervously as he just looked at you quietly. "Scott's sneaking out with Allison again and our mom won't be home until ten.. so I was thinking if you'd want to just come over instead of staying alone or with Derek, he could be lame sometimes" I chuckle nervously and put on a fake confident grin.
Isaac stayed quiet for a moment or two, taking in your words, and he thought there was no way he could turn that down, the thought of you and him alone in the house with no distractions. He knew he wanted it but he wasn't sure if you did. if you were just doing him a favour because you felt bad, but he decided to push his paranoia to the side and smiled at you softly with a blush on his cheek, nodding. "I'd like that, if you're okay with it"
"ahh perfect! we are gonna have so much fun! we can watch the notebook too if you want to, or maybe cook or play or just" you pause for a second or two, not wanting to creep Isaac out with your sudden excitement. "we could just.. chill you know?" You looked up at him with a smile.
The two of you walked to your house, as Stiles has already left with his jeep, and while you were walking you felt Isaac's hand brush against yours until he took it in, intertwining your fingers together. you could feel how his hand shakes softly and you knew his stomach was probably flipping, he was a nervous wreck.
You held his hand confidently the way home until you reached it and opened the front door for the two of you. After walking in, you turned to Isaac and smiles. "do you wanna stay in the living room, or go to my room? or we can even cook something!" you asked excitedly.
"Your room...?" He asked hesitantly. Your room was usually off limits, that's where you go to relax on your own, away from the pack. He couldn't deny how much he wanted to be there with you. But part of him knows it won't end at just being in your room. Not that he had a problem but that he was worried from Scott's reaction if he knew Isaac was in his sister's room alone in the house. Scott and Isaac were best friends and Isaac didn't want to risk it, but he still loved you.
you saw the look on isaac's face as he started to look overwhelmed, and more anxious than he was, so you decided to cool it down. "I mean it's okay but if you don't want to that's fine. we can sit in the living room" you shrugged, leaving the decision for him to make as you looked at his eyes.
Isaac nodded slowly, looking at your lips then your eyes. "your room" he said softly and carelessly. He wanted to be with you alone. he didn't care what scott would think, he didn't care what the whole pack would think, he only cared about you and being with you, he wanted you.
you smiled and tilted your head for him to follow you. you walked past Scott's room until you reached your room then you walked to the bed, After taking off your shoes, sitting on the bed, then patting on the space next to you for Isaac to sit on.
Isaac followed you to your room, closing his door behind him. His heart skipped a beat when you asked him to sit next to you and the only thing he could think of is how nervous he is. he looked at you and he thought you look so vulnerable, sitting alone waiting for him to join you, so he took a few steps, trying to regulate his breath before sitting next to you. He was so close and nervous, slowly turning his neck to look at you.
"so.. what would you like to do?" you asked softly, trying to make sure he's not uncomfortable.
Isaac looked at you and for the first time he has walked in the room, he didn't know what to say. A part of him wanted to kiss you and see what happened but he didn't want to make you pressured, and he didn't want to risk kissing Scott's sister, he was the leader of the pack, so he let the silence between you linger before he decided to break the ice.
"can I be honest with you?" he stressed.
"of course, I won't judge" i nodded in reassurance
Isaac struggles to speak so he leans closer to you. He just wants you to understand him, he needs you to know how he feels, what he's been thinking of, but it's hard for someone like him, someone whom emotions always were rejected. He took a deep breath and leaned closer as his eyes fluttered between your lips and eyes then he opened his mouth to speak but he failed so he looked one more time at you before smashing his lips on yours as he moved one hand on the back of your neck as the other ran over your back to your hips, pulling your whole body into his lap while you froze in shock before pulling him closer, cupping his cheeks while you kissed him back with the same amounts of passion.
After a few moments he pulls away, and looks at you in shock, he had expected everything other than you kissing him back.
"I'm sorry. I probably shouldn't have kissed you and if scott finds out he's gonna kill me and-" you cut him off pulling him in another kiss, slowly pushing him to lay down as you move on top of him.
"Scott doesn't have to know" you whispered pulling him in a deeper kiss that made him forget everything.
he was in a daze as he pulled away from you. "you look so beautiful when you kiss me like that" he said softly with a soft smirk that caused you to blush.
He smiled softly as he gently ran his fingers thorough your hair. "you're so beautiful you know? it's just so hard to focus on anything else when we are like that, when you're with me. We can take this as slow as you want"
you pulled him for a kiss in response, breaking it as you smiling against lips, and he moaned softly, slipping his hands under your shirt, caressing your soft skin.
"i want this. you. Right here, right now, But I also don't want to hurt you so tell me what you want, darling." he whisper in your ear as his breath hit your neck, causing you to shiver.
"i want you, please" you whined and pulled him into another kiss as your tongue begged for entrance in his mouth. he let out a soft involuntary moan, as his caresses on your back got faster. His tongue danced with your and he began to grind on you, making you feel the hard bulge in his jeans that rubbed your throbbing pussy, until you pulled away from the kiss breathlessly, pushing him up by his chest, reaching to his shirt, playing with a soft fabric slowly. He sat up on his knees in front of you between your legs, taking off his shirt. You looked up at him, slowly placing the balm of your hand on his chest, tracing your finger over it to his stomach. He let out a low groan while he watched you trace your fingers over his chest, his muscles tensed under your touch.
"you're killing me honey" He whispered, moving closer to you as he kissed your neck slowly, then he sat up again as his hands found their way between your legs. Should undo your bra, or maybe start with these pants?" he teased, and sprung his claws out, moving them swiftly above you, tearing off your clothes.
"i loved that set" you pouted and he smirked
"i'll get you new ones" he pulled your clothes off your body, tossing them away on the floor with his shirt.
He smirked when he saw the blush on your face when you looked away, leaning down to your neck. "don't be shy baby" he whispered, before tracing kissed down your collarbone.
you moaned softly, moving your hands to caress his back softly and he let out a sigh against your skin. His hands found your thighs as he rubbed them slowly, kissing lower and lower. His kisses and nibbles reached your chest, taking a nipple in his mouth, swirling and sucking around it while he groped the other one with his hand, pinching the other nipple between his thumb and forefinger teasingly.
"I love you, so much" He showered your stomach with smooches and pecks, until his mouth found your slit, running his tongue through your wetness, humming in satisfaction. "so wet baby" he flicked your clit with his tongue as you struggled to answer him back, running your fingers through his hair as you pulled them gently. He took one of his hand, wrapping it around my waist to keep me down while he slid a finger in you with the other, slowly and gently, causing you to moan softly.
he sucked your clit harder making you pull his hair tightly, causing him to moan which vibrates against your pussy as his fingers go faster, feeling you clench around them, sucking them in. "Fuck Isaac" you whined. "i'm so close" you whispered, wondering if he even heard you, then he confirmed as he added a finger in, moving his fingers in a scissoring motion, stretching you out as you pull his hair tighter. "Isaac!" you warned, and he understood as you reached your climax, coating his fingers with your cum while he kept his gaze on you then he pulled them out, lapping at your pussy hungrily, taking in your juices.
"you're so sweet baby" he moved up to kiss you as you taste your own arousal. He pulled away from the kiss and you bit your lip, panting for air and you moved your hand to his head, pulling him back down to kiss you, you couldn't get enough of him.

Hello! 15 and/or 17 from prompt list + Isaac please 🥺
send me one of my boys + a prompt
isaac + reader ⋆ finding someone flirting with your crush, but all they have is eyes for you, and on you + almost kissing. but somebody walks in. "HOLY FUCK, ABOUT TIME THIS HAPPENS! I'M SO SORRY, PLEASE CONTINUE—"
parties are fun. everyone loves parties. every high schooler loves a good fucking party. you get to drink, maybe even get a little high if you know the right people. listen to good music, dance with your friends. always a good time.
well not for you.
for you it meant drinking, yes, which meant a goddamn headache the next day, dancing, having fun, yes, all of that, and on top of that, it meant watching the boy of your dreams being, for lack of a better word, chased around, by girls your age. and younger. and older. sometimes it was amusing, you could see the panic in his eyes. sometimes the girl was so gorgeous you couldn't help but look away, go somewhere else. get some fresh air, so you wouldn't have to watch anything hurtful.
you were in lov—interested in isaac for... a while, ever since he officially joined the pack, you've been playing it cool, maintaining his glance when he looked at you for a few seconds before turning away so it wouldn't be obvious, making your best not to smell his beautiful curly hair every time he hugged you... but you were only human, and he wasn't. you couldn't always control your heartbeat, so you were sure he knew it. he had to. he just wasn't interested. hurtful, but you'd live. eventually.
by 1am you're more than tipsy, and apparently so is the stunningly beautiful girl who very much on purpose tripped in front of isaac, forcing him to hold her by the waist so she wouldn't fall face first. she's charming thanking him, flirty, you know the routine by now, it's time to turn around and get some air, and you would have if stiles didn't appear out of nowhere in front of you talking about one hundred words per second. he really shouldn't drink.
while stiles asks you if his clothes are okay, if there's too much gel in his hair, if he smells nice and if he's annoying (right now he is) because every girl he tried to flirt with ignored him, you were—ignoring him. because you were forced to stay and you couldn't not look at isaac.
and his piercing blue eyes were looking right back at you, it didn't matter how many times the beautiful girl touched his arms, or laughed at him, his eyes were still on you. you selfishly wonder if the girl was just too much of a bore or... if he did that when you weren't looking, like you did when he wasn't looking. the thought makes your heart beat twice as fast, your cheeks flush and isaac notices it, obviously, smirking at you in a mischievous way you had never seen before.
that literally took your breath away, you had to leave. you finished your drink in one mouthful, handing your red cup to the still talking boy in front of you, "sure stiles, you're totally right." he looks confused, but you don't care. you turn in a rush to find the nearest unlocked door.
a room. not a good decision for whoever this house belonged to (you had no idea anymore), but you were so glad. you closed the door behind you in a swift motion and immediately start pacing around, your hands going to your face, through your hair and to your face again as you tried to take a deep breath but could only achieve a few not so deep ones.
"we don't have the money to pay for new floors if you drill a hole on these, gorgeous." your feet freeze on the spot as you hear his voice, sweet, humorous, flirty? you didn't even need to look at him to know he had that grin stamped on his lips.
"isa... what're you doing here?" your lips might as well be gone by how much you're nibbling on them, your hands gripping so hard on your own waist your nails might cut flash any time soon.
"chasing after you, obviously." god, could he not be so straight to the point for once? you nod your head countless times after he shrugs that reply out at you.
"sure... sure sure sure sure... why?" and he's grinning again, getting closer to you.
"well, this is the first time it actually looked like you wanted me and not to die." you keep nodding, and you feel like you're sweating more than normal, "so we're gonna make out, and hopefully i'm right about this." your eyes widen but you don’t move as he moves your arms from your waist to his, his hands holding your neck and he’s so close now you’re the one hearing his heartbeat. just as fast as yours.
so maybe when he looked at you there was reason to it, and maybe his hugs did linger and it wasn’t you holding on too long. maybe the times he told you to wear one of his jerseys to lacrosse matches were because he wanted to see you in his clothes, cheering for him, and not because he was friendly.
"i—i kinda wanted to die—i thought you didn't even look at me." you confessed in a murmur, he chuckled, leaning in, lips terribly close, virtually touching yours—but the door opened abruptly and the noise from the party flooded the otherwise quiet room.
stiles.
STILES.
"HOLY FUCK, ABOUT TIME THIS HAPPENS! I'M SO SORRY, PLEASE CONTINUE—" he doesn't have to say twice, you were still stunned by his interruption when isaac pulled you completely to him, kissing you passionately, hoping stiles would get a clue and leave (he did).
his hands were firm, but oh so gentle as he deepened the kiss, it sends shivers down your spine, it was intense, maybe it was the alcohol, or the fact he had wanted to do that for a really long time now.
every brush of his lips to yours was like putting more fire to a flame and you gripped to his shirt with both your hands as you moved together in perfect rhythm. it felt like a second and an eternity at the same time, you could feel isaac's body heat mixed to yours, having to part to breathe was torture.
isaac looked at you and his eyes shared the same hunger as yours, he quickly took one of your hands to his, leaving the room in quick steps as he pulled you behind with him, "so i was right, and we're leaving the party, is that okay?" he looks at you, still walking, and you can only nod, after all, parties are fun, and one with him alone is definitely more your taste.

you tell them you're pregnant / part 2
Tumblr media
Isaac Lahey
He doesn't believe his ears. He makes you repeat it because he's not sure he heard you correctly.
"Isaac, I'm pregnant." You repeat.
You had known for a few days now. You were in a world of emotions already between your own emotions and wondering what Isaac would think when he found out.
There was no beating around the bush when you told him.
You weren't that far along to notice. If you hadn't missed your period, you probably would not have suspected anything yourself.
He blinked, turning his head as if he was taking in everything you were saying.
You stood in front of him, your hair still damp from the shower you had just taken.
"And here I thought you were about to tell me about something you were thinking in the shower." He chuckled nervously, feeling his hands starting to get clammy and he rubbed them around his pj bottoms. "Pregnant?"
You just nodded your head.
"Is this why you've been so quiet the past few days?" He met your eyes again.
You weren't sure what to say. You were terrified what was going through his mind.
"I can't say I'm not freaking out a little," He started before rising to his feet to lift your chin to look at him. He couldn't lie. He was freaking out between the trauma he was slowly recovering from with his father and trying to keep it from coming between the two of you. But right now he knew how much he needed you.
You look out the shaky breath you were holding in and he stroked his finger across your cheek. "But I'm here."
He presses a kiss to the side of your head, pulling you into his arms to hold you tight. "I'm here."
Tumblr media
Theo Raeken
You knew it wasn't smart to be going behind your brother's back with Theo but you couldn't help yourself. And let's be honest Theo wasn't helping either.
"Theo, I need to tell you something." You mumbled against his lips as he started to pull his jacket down his arm.
It wasn't hard to hide it when everyone hated Theo, including you. You played the role so well.
At least that was the case.
"What is it?" His mouth left yours only to continue working kisses down your jaw and along your neck. You could barely think around him.
Your hands pushed against his chest, leaning away from him to pry his lips from your neck. He held onto your waist as he finally met your eyes.
"What's wrong?"
Liam was going to kill you.
You swallowed hard. Everything. "I'm pregnant, Theo."
You could feel how tense the air had grown around you in just a few second. Neither of you had said a word for a while, but his arms never moved from around you.
You moved to pull the two positive pregnancy tests from your back pocket to show him. His eyes followed your hand.
"I'm sorry. This isn't how I wanted things to go either, but I'm terrified. And Liam- Liam is going to-"
His name was like a trigger for the both of you. Considering Liam was your brother and about the only person who gave Theo any sort of a chance aside from you. "He's gonna have to get over it." He finally spoke.
"I don't want to ruin things for you. I know you've been trying to do better with everyone."
"I'm not worried about that." He admitted as his large hands caressed along your back comfortingly. "This matters more to me than trying to appease them." He nodded his head towards you.
Your cheeks blushed a deep crimson before hiding your face into his chest.
Tumblr media
Peter Hale
You were curled up on the couch watching a movie with Peter after a long day of both of you helping Scott's pack.
A blanket was draped across both of you and a bowl of popcorn sitting on his lap.
You had known the exciting news for a week now and you couldn't wait any longer to share it with him.
Not that you had been trying to get pregnant, but it was a topic discussed a few times and you both weren't against being parents. You had been married two years now. It was nothing you were in a hurry to do, but now that it was happening. It felt like it was meant to be.
You reached a hand into the bowl to grab some popcorn, smiling to yourself as you kept your eyes on the tv screen.
"So what if I told you I may or may not be pregnant?" You tossed the popcorn in your mouth.
His fingers tracing against your back stilled and he lifted his head off the couch cushion to look at you.
"Are you?"
You struggled to bite back the grin on your lips, peeking over at find his soft eyes already on you.
"I am."
You watched his lips curl into a smile, knocking over the popcorn over to pull you into his lap. "Oh my god Peter. I was eating that."
His arms wrapped around your body to cuddle you on his lap. "I've been waiting for you to say something. I knew something was off." He kissed the corner of your mouth, glazing a large hand over your stomach.
"You knew? What?"
He taps his ear with a smirk. "You're married to a werewolf, baby. This is old news."

a/n: I read through this once and edited it so I hope I got all the mistakes
__________________________________
It took a while but Isaac had finally calmed you down, Erica had left and even though Stiles wanted to stay because he was worried about you, Isaac had convinced him that he would take care of you.
"Are you sure?"
By now you had yourself tucked into Isaac as Stiles talked to you. You nodded wiping your tears away, "Yeah, Stiles, I'm fine. You should go home and rest. I need to find Scott and then I will too." He hesitated again before slowly nodding, you didn't see it but Isaac and Stiles had shared a knowing glance like some kind of exchange that just said 'make sure she's safe'.
Stiles had finally left and it was just you two. You guys sat in silence and he just caressed your hair. Even though no words were being exchanged between you, it wasn't awkward. It was comfortable. Even with all the dried tears on your face and the sniffles, it felt right to be there with him.
"How you doing, baby?"
You were startled by the nickname, you had heard him call you that while you were whaling but you hadn't thought he would keep calling you that. "What happened to 'your favorite girl'?" Your voice was so hoarse and it hurt to talk but you couldn't help but joke.
He chuckled at your question, "You can still be my favorite girl and be called baby."
You giggled, "I know, just teasing."
He smiled softly at you, you were still in his arms curled together on the floor. His hand was on your cheek, his thumb brushing your cheekbone, "Nice to see you back to yourself, if you're ready we can walk to the station, Derek will probably take Scott there after." You tilted your head up, nodding lightly, "Yeah, I'm ready."
Sure enough when Isaac and you reached the Hale pack hide out both Derek and Scott were there.
"Scott! Are you okay?" You crashed into the boy's back, who let out a gasp from the impact. He turned around and his eyes widened, "Have you been crying, what's wrong?"
"She was worried about you," Isaac had caught up with you, standing behind you two. "But I'm okay now, you're okay so everything is good," you hugged the boy once more. When you pulled away, you noticed Derek staring off into space, "You guys were having a serious moment, weren't you?" Scott tilted his as if he wanted to say no but in reality it was a yes.
"We can't save Jackson." Your head snapped to Isaac and then back to Scott, "I'm sorry what?"
"We can't seem to kill him either," Derek mumbled. "I've seen a lot of things Scott. I've never seen anything like this. Every full moon is just gonna make him stronger."
"Then how do we stop him?"
The Alpha shrugged, "I don't know."
"Maybe you should just let the Argents handle it then," you chimed in sitting on a chair.
"I'm the one who turned him, it's my fault."
"Yeah but you didn't turn him into this," Scott argued, "This happened because of something in his past, right?"
"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple." You crossed your arms in annoyance, "What do you mean?"
"What are you not telling us," Scott asked at the same time as you.
"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?"
"Because you always ARE keeping something from us!" The both of your voices had resonated, it had even startled Isaac. "Well, maybe I do it to protect you."
"Doesn't being part of your park mean no more secrets," Scott asked quietly.
"Go home, Scott. Take (Y/N) too. Sleep. Heal. Make sure your friends are safe. Cause the full moon is coming and with the way things are going, I got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one."
~
It was officially spring break and that meant Lydia's birthday was almost here. Much to your surprise, there was a box on your porch from the red haired girl. She had sent you a dress to wear to her party tonight. You thought it was sweet considering you two weren't really friends. You were planning on going to her party so the gesture made some sense, unfortunately, you would have to leave early due to the full moon.
Derek had asked you to find something for the Betas to get through their first full moon, he had mentioned a spell and while you couldn't find anything like that you were able to find a type of potion to deprive them of their senses and calm their minds.
This morning you had decided you should probably pay the newly formed pack a visit, especially since you needed to let Derek know what you found and your plan. Which is why as soon as you got up and got dress you were on your way to the abandoned station.
You walked down just in time to here the pack talking once more, you did always seem to do that. "It's a spiral. Reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to another. Betas can become Alphas, but Alphas can also fall to Betas or even Omegas," Derek explained.
"Like Scott?" Isaac stood looking at Derek.
"Scott's with us."
"Really? Then where is he now?" Derek looked at the Beta, "He's looking for Jackson. Don't worry, he's not gonna have it easy tonight either. None of us will. There's a price you pay for this kind of power." Derek picked up the chains, which you had recognized to be the same ones you had seen before, "You get the ability to heal. But tonight you're gonna want to kill anything you can find."
You had walked further into the room as Erica joked, "Good thing I had my period last week, then?"
You saw Derek pull out another chain, this one had a large circle and spikes on it, "Well this one's for you." You cleared your throat to let your presence be known and the whole pack turned towards you. Derek had nodded at you, like a peace offering on some kind, "Did you find it?"
You pointed at him, "The spell, no. But I did find this potion type thing that's able to deprive someone of their senses for purposes like this.
Derek looked relieved, "Thank you, do you have it?" You shook your head, "No, it takes a little bit of time to prepare and I just found it the other day. Deaton is helping me though to make sure it's perfect, should be ready tonight."
"Okay, thank you, bring Scott tonight, I might need some help." You hissed slightly, "Oh, yeah that might be a problem."
"What do you mean?"
You sat on a crate nearby as you began to explain, "Well you see, Lydia's birthday is tonight and Allison and Stiles are making us go. So Scott's gonna probably be busy with that and the whole finding Jackson thing." Derek had given you a deadpanned look, unimpressed by your answer. You raised your hands in defense, "Hey, don't look at me like that, they're making me. Lydia's even pressuring me," you leaned forward like you were gossiping to a group of best friends, "She sent me a dress and it was on my front porch this morning. I mean now I have to go, right?"
You scanned the room and almost everybody in the room was amused by your words, except for of course Derek. You sighed, "Don't worry, I'll be here to drop off the potion stuff tonight, I'm not gonna stay there for very long." Derek finally excepting defeat and just nodded walking away.
Erica and Boyd starting to converse from across the room and Isaac made his way to you slowly. You stood quickly, trying to play it off as best as you could. He made you nervous, especially now that you could let your guard down around him.
"You're going to a party?" You nodded slowly, confused since you had just finished talking about it, but when you looked up into his eyes, you saw it.
Jealousy.
"And Stiles and Scott are going too, right?" You nodded once more this time slightly more amused. "Yes, they are even if they weren't going you don't need to worry, I'm not gonna go around dancing with guys." His eyes widened as he realized he had been caught. You grabbed his hands softly pulling him a little closer and whispered, "When you get this whole full moon thing down, there will be nothing stopping you from being my plus one to every party."
Your words had gotten him flustered, you could see it in his eyes and in the way his cheeks glowed a little redder. It was like the old days, with the soft shy Isaac you knew before, "Walk me out?" He nodded his eyes just focused on you like a trance.
~
You had gotten ready for Lydia's party, of course wearing the dress she had given you, and you were at the clinic before you met up with Scott and Stiles.
"So, you added a little bit of rosemary to the water and then what," you asked watching as Deaton crushed the rosemary and threw it in the bowl. "Evening primrose, it's native to America and the oil extracted has been know to be quite anti-inflammatory. When combine with a Nymph's magical energy it was discovered to be able to affect supernatural species however they choose depending on the concoction," he laid whole petals into the water.
He turned and opening a cabinet, pulling out a Bunsen burner and rigging the small bowl above it. He looked at you and pointed to the bowl, "Rosemary is known to heighten concentration and memory, it will allow them to remember their human side more. Normally you would want to let the flowers ferment in the water for a week to allow the water to naturally be flavored."
You looked at him as he turned on the flame, then water instantly starting to steam, "But since we don't have time for that, heating the water will just have to do, it won't be as effective but with Derek and you there I'm sure it'll do the job." He gave you a smile before sliding your book over to you.
"You mean with Derek there, I'm still useless in a fight," you muttered, you felt a hand on your shoulder and you saw Deaton open the book. "Not anymore, I'm going to help you learn a basic offensive spell that uses a similar technique to your barriers. Since you've become more familiar with that and your natural talent, it should pretty easy for you to catch on." Your hand gripped the table, finally, you wouldn't be useless. You could actually hold your own, protect your friends.
"Okay, what do I do?"
He guided you away from the table and into the open space, he stood next to you. "For the most basic offensive technique you keep your hands here," he showed you, his elbows bent and his palms facing out, "You then will push out like your pushing someone away from you."
You copied the movement that you were very well acquainted with, considering you were constantly pushing Stiles around. "This doesn't seem that hard," you commented.
"The movement no, the build-up and timing will be."
You gave the man a confused glance, "What do you mean?"
"You essentially have to build up, in simple terms, your magic power to use this. What you're doing is using the amount of power you allow to either push an opponent back or even strike them. If you don't put enough magic pressure into, you could very well die to an enemy."
Your lips pursed, "Ah, there's the catch, it's never gonna be easy is it?" He chuckled, "No, unfortunately for you, your powers are all about balance. It's all tedious strategy and technique. Now try for real, let your power run through your veins and into your palms," he gestured into the open area.
You took a deep breath and closed your eyes, trying to feel every ounce of the power you spent so long keeping down. It felt like a weight had been lifted and you felts tingles in your hands. You took the stance and pushed with as much force... nothing.
You tried again.
Nothing.
"Why can't I get it," you groaned.
"Relax, you have time. When you build a barrier what do you do?" You huffed at his question, crossing your arms, "Well, I imagine the energy flowing around whatever it is, that seems to work best." He nodded and pointing, "You see, just as I had said to Stiles, the imagination is a wonderous thing, do that and try again."
Shaking your limbs out to loosen up, you took another breath. A few nervous hops later and you brought yourself into the stance once more. You went through the motions, this time even with your eyes opened, you imagine the same iridescent glow you're used to. You pushed it out and this time...
You felt a blast whish passed you, blowing your hair. Everything on the shelves rumbled and shook, clattering around. "Yes! I did it!"
"And just in time too, the water is ready. All we need is just a spark of your power and it'll be good to go." He had bottled the waters into small vials and raised them up to you. Maybe it was the happiness of everything but without even thinking you raised your hand and instantly the vials shined your usual iridescence. When you realized what you did, your eyes widened, "It seems you're becoming more comfortable with who you are," Deaton smiled, "Now, I believe you have a party to go to."
~
"Hey! Allison! Wait up!"
The dark haired girl turned around to see you running, well trying to at least, to her. You were in heels and while you didn't have problems with walking, anything faster was immediately not as easy. "Damn it! Why did she send me a dress," you complained adjusting the fabric, "Normally I wouldn't say anything but tonight is not the night for me to be wearing something even slightly inconvenient."
She laughed at you giving you her arm, which you gratefully took, "You're still helping Derek tonight?" You nodded patting your little purse which held the vials, "Yep, sadly Derek created a problem that he needs others to help fix." Allison nodded along, "Yeah it feels like this whole semester has been about Derek and his pack."
You scoffed, "Tell me about it. We also never get to hang out anymore either so it makes it that much more impossible to not focus on the Derek problem." Allison smiled at you, you two really hadn't been that close recently. When she first came to Beacon Hills, you had easily befriended her (mainly for Scott you will admit) and even though she had hung out with Lydia and Jackson, it never deterred you from the girl. She was truly your closest girl friend if you were being frank.
"Well I'm glad you're here, I've missed being able to hang out," she said tugging you further up the driveway. You reached Lydia's front door where she had greeted you both with a smile, a smile that made you slightly uneasy. You chalked it up to the fact that you just weren't close with the girl and went back to scanning the room for Jackson, and your best friends.
"I'm gonna do a walk of the house, see if he's wandering about," Allison said pointed in the distance. She started walking off when you nodded, "I'm gonna look for the boys, be careful."
"You too."
She was now gone and you once more let your eyes wander the backyard, this time you had actually seen the two boys you were looking for. They had just made they're way outside when you reached them, "Hey."
They acknowledged you, "Have you seen Allison?" You nodded at Scott, "Yeah, we came in together." Scott went to ask you another question but he was quickly shut down by the clicking of heels, you turned to see Allison walking back up to you, "Uh, Jackson's not here."
"Yeah, no one's here," Stiles observed the backyard and he was right, it was eerily quiet. "Maybe it's just early," Scott suggested.
"Or maybe nobody's coming because Lydia's turned into the town wack job," Stiles expressed. You kissed your teeth and gestured to the boy in agreement, your eyebrows raised. "Well, we have to do something, because we've completely ignored her for the past two weeks," Allison said.
"She's completely ignored Stiles for the past ten years," Scott argued and shrugged. Stiles tried to defend himself, "I prefer to think of it as me not having been on her radar." You rolled your eyes, "Yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night."
Scott made an unconvinced look, "We don't owe her a party."
"What about the chance to get back to normal?" The question shocked Scott, "Normal?"
"She wouldn't be the town wack job if it wasn't for us," Allison countered. You held up your hand, "Now hold on. First, just want to clarify, not against throwing her a party, it's her birthday. But it's not our fault she's gone coocoo for Coco Puffs, alright? That was all on Peter. Peter is the reason any of us are even in this mess to begin with, so she can blame him like the rest of us."
There was a silence after you made your point and you broke it once more, "Now that I've made my point let's throw her a good party," you said offering Allison your support.
"I guess I could use my co-captain status to get the lacrosse team here," Scott had relented. Stiles nodded as well, "Yeah, I also know some people who can get this thing going. Like really going." He dug into his pocket for his phone and Allison tilted her head, "Who?"
"I met them the other night. Let's just say they know how to party."
You chuckled catching on to who he was referring to, "Well then I'm sure this party is going to be in good hands. Chop, chop, people, let's go."
Soon enough Stiles' and Scott's called guests had made it and now the party was much more lively, you were pretty sure you could slip out now without Lydia noticing. You were standing with Stiles and Scott, watching as Allison stood across the pool with Lydia.
"Are you gonna apologize to Allison or what," Stiles asked. Scott's head snapped up to look at the boy, "Why should I apologize?"
"Because you're the guy. It's what we do," Stiles pointed out. You snorted at his answer and it caught both your best friend's attentions, "More like, you've made her feel ignored for the past couple of weeks."
"But I didn't do anything," Scott said cluelessly, you shook your head with a slight roll of your eyes as Stiles continues, "Well then you should definitely apologize. See, anytime a guy thinks he hasn't done anything wrong it means he's definitely done something wrong." You nodded this time, "Now, that, is true."
Scott grumbled, "I'm not apologizing." You nudged the boy slightly, "Is that the full moon talking, buddy." Scott looked at you and agreed, "Probably."
"Why do you guys care, anyway."
"Because, Scott, something's gotta go right here," Stiles emphasized, "I mean, we're getting our asses royally kicked, if you haven't noticed. People are dying. I got my dad fired. You're gonna be held back in school. This one is in love with a nut job," he gestured, "And so am I. If on top of all that, I gotta watch you lose Allison to a stalker like Matt, I'm gonna stab myself in the face."
"Hey, I'm not in love with Isaac," you exclaimed. Stiles scoffed, "Yeah, okay sure, I never said Isaac, Mrs. Denial." You went to argue again but was cut off by Scott standing, "You know what, you won't need to stab yourself in the face because I'm gonna do it for y-."
"Don't stab yourself in the face."
Both you and Stiles paused, looking at the Omega, "Why not?" Scott didn't look at Stiles, "Because Jackson's here." You three looked across the pool and there he was just staring at you guys. You blew out a stream of stressed air, "Alright, that's my cue to leave. You guys got this?" Both nodded wordlessly, keeping their eyes on Jackson.
~
Leaving the party was pretty easy actually, you got out like the Flash and now you had to deal with your anxiety of being in abandoned train car with three crazed out Betas. You had rushed into the car to see Erica and Boyd chained up in the back huffing from rage and Isaac and Derek in the front.
"Okay, so I see I might have been a little late," you said awkwardly.
Derek gave a pointed look, "Yeah, no kidding." Isaac however looked much more relaxed than before, still you could see he was definitely struggling. That's when you heard the two Betas in the back to cry and scream. The noise made you wince as you crouched down next to Derek and in front of Isaac.
"How do you not feel this," Isaac gritted his teeth.
"I feel every second of it," Derek had basically snarled. That didn't stop Isaac from shooting back, "Then how do you control it?"
"Find an anchor. Something meaningful. Bind yourself to it to keep the human side in control," Derek instructed tightening the chains, he jutted his chin out to other set on Isaac's other side and you got the message. You took the other chain and began to tighten it as best as you could.
"What is it for you?"
Derek took a pause before answering the Beta, "Anger. But it doesn't have to be that for everybody."
"You mean Scott?" You nodded slowly and whispered gently, "Scott's is Allison, even just the thought of her is able to calm him down." Derek indicated that you were right, "Alright, that should do it," he declared.
You opened your little shoulder clutch and grabbed the three vials, "Here, if you can get these two to take it now, it should help calm them down." You handed him two bottle and he nodded starting to get up but then he was interrupted by a loud break. Isaac had broken the seat holding his chain, he gave you both a knowing look.
"Go, get out of here," Derek urged you and before you panicked even more you opened the third vial you still had, "Take care of those two, I'll be okay." He didn't even respond as he was already moving to the back. You looked at Isaac who had sweat dripping from his forehead, "You need to go, it's not safe." You shook your head sitting on the chair, "Do you trust me?"
Isaac didn't even hesitate before agreeing, "Okay then I need you to drink this, okay?" He nodded and tilted his head back slightly and you poured it into his mouth, resting your hand in his hair to support his head.
"It might take a moment but it should kick in soon," you didn't get to see his reply because Derek had rushed towards you, grabbing your forearm and dragging you out of the train car. You could hear all their screams as Derek left a voicemail for Scott, "Hey Scott, could you call me back, I think I'm gonna need some help." Cue the violent and guttural growls and screams from Derek's pack.
"I thought you said it would help them?"
"It will but it's gonna take some time for it to kick in, it wasn't that strong since I couldn't properly prepare it."
Derek nodded, "Definitely gonna need some help." He unleashed his claws and walked inside the car. You followed closely and quietly behind, Derek had side stepped to stay out of Isaac's slash. You stayed in front, out of the away but also because your body ran cold, the sight of a blood thirsty Isaac terrified you.
Erica and Boyd had broken free and started advancing towards Derek. You had gotten distracted and hadn't even realized that Isaac also broke free until you heard the crunch of metal and the smash of glass. You lifted your hands up protecting your face from the flying shards, "Isaac!" He had already jumped out and you couldn't afford to take care of him yourself, not when Boyd and Erica were currently slashing at Derek, who was on the ground.
You had a clear shot to hit at least Boyd, maybe if you could get him off Derek, the Alpha would be able to fight off Erica himself. You focused your energy trying to make sure your blast was gonna be power and then when you were ready you pushed it out, watching as the glowing blast knocked Boyd off and made him forget about Derek. Only then did you realize that meant Boyd was now on you.
Derek had done exactly like you had thought and started to fight off Erica. You on the other hand were currently using small blasts to at least keep Boyd back. "Boyd, listen to me, I don't want to hurt you. Please, just calm down!" The Beta didn't listen, he snarled before raising his hand high to bring it down for a big slash. When he made a dash for you, you were prepared to feel something since you had no time to push him back.
But you never did.
Instead you heard another crash and felt someone shove passed you, you opened your eyes to see none other than Isaac holding Boyd down against the seat. He acknowledged Derek with a nod, letting him know he was in control. Things calm down once Derek had also knocked Boyd out and locked him and Erica back against the pole.
Isaac calmly sat in his old seat just staring forward, his eyes glowing. You sat next to the boy while Derek began to rechain him. "I think you'll be okay now," Derek started, "Looks like you found an anchor." You noticed in the corner of your eyes him direct his gaze at you but you paid no mind to it, only keeping your focus on the boy in chains.
"My father."
Your eyes widened. You didn't know what you were expecting as his answer but it certainly wasn't that. You saw the same confusion on Derek's face, "You father locked you in a freezer in the basement to punish you." He had said it as a statement but it sounded more like a question.
"He didn't use to."
Isaac set his hand down in his lap and Derek jangled the chains to confirm its security. "Go, take care of them, I got this," you said softly to the dark haired werewolf. He silently looked at you before walking away. You hesitated for just a moment and then you lightly rest your hand on top of Isaac's. "I'm glad you found an anchor, although I wasn't expecting it to be your dad." His head slowly rotating to you, "It's not."
You eyebrows scrunched and you tilted your head, "But you just said-."
"I lied."
Nodding slowly, you adjusted your position, sitting more comfortably, "Okay... then what's your anchor?"
"You."
"Me," you whispered, "but how-." He cut you off once more, "When I ran out, I heard your heartbeat pick up. You sounded so scared and I came back to myself instantly. I had to come back, to protect you, to make sure you were safe. Nothing else mattered." Your whole body dropped out of awe, you're sure you looked lovestruck by now. How do you not after hearing that?
"If it weren't for the audience back there and outside, I would totally kiss you right now."
The boy chuckled lightly, "Guess I have to wait until morning then."

Mr. Harris slides your progress report down onto your desk before you have a chance to react, and it catches wind and falls to the ground a moment later. You sigh and roll your eyes, but he’s already halfway across the room, impatiently handing out the rest of his stack. Your own little slip of paper is nowhere by your feet, and you resist the urge to make a remark about it.
“Hey.” A voice interrupts your intruding thoughts at the same time a tap lands on your shoulder. Gentle, as if the tapper hates to disturb you, yet needs your attention.
You turn, and temporarily forget about your lost report as your eyes meet Isaac’s, the boy who sits behind you, and has the cutest smile imaginable. You drop your gaze instantly, only for it to fall on his dimpled smile, and then, finally, on the paper held between two fingers.
“I think this is yours,” he says, holding it out to you.
Your name is clearly printed on the front, followed by your most recent grades in the class. You blush, immediately remembering it had dropped in the first place.
“Oh. Thank you.”
“No problem. He seems like he’s in a mood today.”
You nod, then take your paper from his hand. By this time, Harris has made his way back to the front, and is clearing his throat in a demand for the class’ silence. Quiet mutterings amongst friends cease at once, and you turn back to face the ill-tempered chemistry teacher.
“Take a good look at your progress reports. The midterm is coming up, and some of you have more studying to do than others. Today, we will be learning new material, but next class period, we will have a review day. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. You can ask at the appropriate time in class, or come see me after school, or shoot me an email. Regardless of your grade, everyone should be studying, however, some of you have to move up a whole letter or two. That is on you to be aware of, and for you to put in the effort to do. Now, pull out your notes so that we can cover this section. It isn’t the hardest thing we’ll cover, but I expect it will be a struggle for some.”
And after that condescending introduction, he begins to teach.
When the bell finally rings, your head is swarming with so much chemistry, your eyes are beginning to glaze over and put you to sleep. You’re relatively good at the subject, but that topic was more challenging than he warned it would be, making even you confused at times. You shake your head when you reach your lockers, trying to relieve yourself of the numbers swirling about in your mind. It takes a moment. A very stressful moment.
A tap on your shoulder, more urgent than the last, pulls you out of your mental headspace. The chemistry bounces out of your mind entirely, bringing you back to reality, but making you jump in place at the sudden contact.
“Sorry,” a familiar voice apologies, “didn’t mean to scare you.”
Turning, you come face-to-face with Isaac again. His normally bright blue eyes are slightly cloudy, which worries you more than you’d like to admit. “No worries. Everything okay?”
“Yeah. I have a question, actually, to ask you.”
“What’s that?”
“Okay, I wasn’t looking at your report, I didn’t mean to see your grades. I accidentally saw them when I picked up your paper, but I promise I wasn’t looking on purpose.” He stalls, continuously apologizing for something not at any fault of his own.
“It’s okay,” you interrupt as politely as you can.
He pauses, “um. I was wondering if you could help me? Like, in chemistry. Help me study, kinda like a tutor, I guess?”
You pale immediately. Just because you’re doing okay in the class doesn’t mean you have a clue how to help him understand. “Um-”
“Just… I just need a little help, if you can. I understand if you don’t want to, or can’t, or… I don’t know… are busy.” He runs his tongue along his lips nervously. You snap your eyes to the floor, avoiding eye contact.
“I don’t know… I’m not a good teacher.”
“But you’re really good in the class. Probably a better teacher than Harris has been lately.”
You chuckle, but you’re still not sure. Being that close to the boy you’ve liked for ages? On top of not being able to teach well? He’ll reduce you to a stupid, stuttering mess, just look at yourself now, unable to look him in the eye. No, don’t look at him, that was rhetorical.
“I just,” he continues, “when he was talking about people who needed to go up a whole letter, he was talking about me. I know you’re good, you sit in front of me. If you can even just explain it to me as you study, it would help a lot.”
Half of your mind races to find an excuse, looking for an out, while the other begs you to agree. Isaac shoves a hand in his pocket and waits for a response. You debate with yourself for a moment, but then the urging part of your mind wins the argument with a question of its own.
“What about this,” you start, “I’ll help you in chemistry, if you help me in French?”
“What?” He asks, taken off guard. “I’m not good at French.”
“You’re better than me. You have the answers to most of Ms. Morrell’s questions, and I can hear you when she asks us to recite words out loud.” His eyes narrow at that, to which you reply, “you sit behind me in French, too.”
“Right.” He smiles, but doesn’t meet your gaze. Instead, he rests his head against the locker beside yours.
“So?”
“How do you know I’m not just guessing?”
“What’s your grade?”
“A,” he sheepishly answers.
“See? You can tutor me.”
“What’s your grade?”
You purse your lips and avoid his eyes again. “Too embarrassed to say.”
“Really?”
“Languages aren’t my strong suit. We all have our strengths.”
“Alright, deal. Help me in chem, and I’ll help you with French.”
“Sounds good. Library, or at one of our houses?”
“I can probably go to the library sometimes. Maybe during lunch or free period. But after school, I have lacrosse, and you probably don’t want to wait around school for that to be over.”
“Okay, so then your house or mine?”
“Where do you live?”
“Like ten minutes from here. You?”
“A bit closer than that. Parents?”
“Don’t really care what I do.”
“My dad is a little controlling,” he admits.
“Would he care if I were to come over?”
“Not if you’re helping me study.”
“Okay. You want to meet a couple times a week at your house, and sometimes during lunch?”
“Sure. Practice ends around five. Is seven too late?”
“Not for me.”
“Cool. So, um, I’ll text you, and we can plan dates.” He shakes his head. “I mean, like, what days work best.”
You blush at his embarrassment. “Have to give you my number first, doofus.”
“Oh.”
You scribble it onto a sticky note and hand it to him. “Let me know.”
“I will. And thank you.”
“Thank you, too.” You hurry your way to your next class, leaving him red in the face and hands at having a girl’s number. Granted, it’s just for studying, but it’s the fact he was able to talk to you at all that has him shaken. Isaac forces himself to breathe, before entering it in his phone and tucking the sticky safely in his backpack. As the bell rings, he hurries to his next class.
~~~~
The next evening is the first time you meet up to study. You drive to the address he’s given and knock on the door as gently as possible. Isaac had mentioned his dad is controlling, so the first thing you want to do is to avoid pissing him off in any way you could. Controlling could mean a lot of things, and the boy wasn’t specific at all. For both of your sakes, you tread lightly.
Isaac opens the door a moment later, dressed in a simple t-shirt and sweats. You try really hard not to blush as he invites you inside, but then his dad’s strict voice snaps you back into reality. You can see Isaac take a visible deep breath before rounding the corner in the kitchen, you in tow. You put on your best look of professionalism while trying to anticipate how the next couple of minutes might go.
“And? Who was it?”
“Y/N, the girl I told you I was studying with… with whom I am going to study,” he corrects at the last minute.
His father’s posture tenses a bit less when his son corrects his own grammar without prompt, but it doesn’t stop his cold eyes from floating over to you. “And you’re studying what?”
“Chemistry, sir. I’m helping Isaac, and he’s helping me with French.”
“And you know French well enough to help her?”
“I believe I do,” he says, trying to sound confident.
“I think he does, too. In class, he always has the answers, and Mrs. Morrell’s often impressed, and she’s hard to impress more than once.”
“Hm.” His dad takes a sip from a glass, then carefully sets it down on the table. His eyes are locked on Isaac the whole time. The boy stares at the ground, any confidence shaken by the interaction. You study the scene, confused. “Well… Go study. Bring up those grades.”
“Yes, sir,” you reply at the same time.
Isaac nods for you to follow him to his room, which you oblige. His dad remains seated as you make your way up the stairs. You bite back a comment about the man, even in the safety of Isaac’s bedroom, and he doesn’t say anything, either. The same remark is in both your heads, yet while you want to ask it in a question, he wants to use it as a reassurance. Yes, he’s a bit more controlling than Isaac originally said. No, he won’t do anything stupid while you're there. He tries to convey this in an expression, which you half-understand, but eventually drop it. If anything happens, you’ll leave. Simple as that.
As it turns out, the first night of you studying together ends up nothing like the initial interaction you had in his house. Isaac is gentle, patient, and willing to learn and teach the best that he can. He’s admittedly worse in chemistry than you are in French, but you’re able to convince him that you only need to work on a few things; an hour of time doesn’t have to be devoted to your studies, maybe only twenty minutes. On the contrary, the other sixty are put towards chemistry. And, of course, the first five are for settling in, and the last five are for uncontrollable laughter at a mispronunciation.
Thirty minutes to nine, you realize how late it’s gotten and start to pack your things. Isaac looks exhausted, and frankly, as much as you’re enjoying his company, you’re getting tired from talking.
“Voulez-vous qu’on se rencontre vendredi?” He asks, rather quickly.
You stare for a moment, then, “what?”
“Vendredi.”
“Thursday?”
“Non.”
“Friday?”
“Oui, rencontrer?”
“Meet then?”
“Yeah, would you like to?”
“Sure.” You nod. “Say it again?”
“Voulez-vous qu’on se rencontre vendredi?” He says it slower this time. It has the same effect on you, but you can comprehend each word better.
“Cool,” you say, not at all thinking about his accent that paints the words so beautifully. “I’ll bring my H2O, since I forgot it this time.”
The boy snorts with more laughter. “Bad joke.”
“Absolutely horrible,” you agree. “See you in school tomorrow.”
“Drive safe.”
“Be safe,” you reply before you can stop yourself, referring to his dad downstairs.
Isaac only nods. He walks you to his front door, then hurries back up to his room.
~~~~
Each day you study together follows a similar routine to the first: five minutes to settle in, sixty of chemistry, twenty of French, then five of joking around with each other. Sometimes Isaac pushes for thirty of French instead, worried that you’re sacrificing your own studies for his, and never understands when you push back that you’re good with only twenty.
His chemistry improves immensely with your help. In three weeks, he manages to pull it up to a ‘C’. Not only is his father a bit more lenient to him after the next progress report, but he’s also more pleasant to you the next time you come around to study. He even cracks a smile.
Today, you go over just the same as you have been. Seven on the dot, you’re greeted by his dimpled smile and half-friendly father. The man has now graduated to welcoming you, and has once clapped you on the shoulder as you’ve passed. You’re polite to him, though you can tell Isaac’s uncomfortable with his unusual behavior, so you always try to retreat upstairs as soon as possible. This time, he’s busy with something in the kitchen and doesn’t talk for long. He makes one comment about grades; you promise him you’re both doing well, then he lets you go.
Finally away, it doesn’t take long for you to settle down anymore. You make yourself comfortable on Isaac’s bed, pulling out your notes and pens, and smiling when he joins you. You’ve come to be good friends in the last couple weeks, and although there’s something definitely in the air, too, you’re good with being friends if that’s all you can convince yourselves you are.
You start, per usual, with chemistry, reading over notes and figuring out problems. He moves closer and closer to you each day you teach, simultaneously making you nervous and excited. Either way, your water bottle remains beside you to calm your ever-growing heart rate. When it comes time to switch subjects, you excuse yourself a minute to recover and prepare for the next half hour. In the beginning, it was easier to hide your blush, promising you’re still getting the hang of the co-teaching thing. Now, your excuse dwindles. The shy smile you wear as he recites words of the love language has never faded. You have to compose yourself entirely, elsewhere, to be able to control your reaction and face him.
“Can I use your bathroom real quick?”
“Yeah, just over there.”
“Thanks.”
As soon as the door shuts, Isaac jumps off the bed to check his hair in the mirror. In the process, your French binder falls to the ground and loses its page. The boy sighs, mutters an ‘oh shit,’ then pulls it back up to find the page again. He opens the flap and immediately finds a stash of old progress reports. You seem to keep all of your old ones in the front flap of your binder; he’s noticed you have all your chemistry reports, too. Curious, Isaac steals a peek. Despite confessing about his ‘D’ in chemistry, you’ve always cheekily refused to share your French grade. He doubts it’s that bad, but he’s never gotten you to admit it.
He glances at the bathroom door, then checks the date on the report before scanning the grades. Guilt eats at him the longer he looks, but nosiness, then confusion keeps his eyes glued. Is he really reading that right? There’s no way you have a-
“Sorry about that,” you say, closing the door.
Startled, he drops your binder and looks up at you. “It’s no worry.”
“What’s wrong?” You notice his change in behavior, like a young boy being caught doing something he shouldn’t be doing.
“Nothing. Your binder fell off the bed, I was picking it up.”
“Oh. Thanks.” He smiles when you join him back on the bed. You’re not sure if you still have a right to be suspicious, or if he’s just embarrassed because he’s so shy. “So, um-”
Isaac, on the other hand, is brimming with questions. As anxious as he is that you caught him peeking, he can’t help but wonder about what he saw. You start to speak, maybe to change the subject, but he cuts you off, guilt and curiosity both winning. “You have an ‘A’ in French?”
“What?”
“You’ve had an ‘A’ since the start of the year. Why do you need me to tutor you if you already know it?”
You shut your open mouth immediately, face paling at the realization you’ve been caught. “I-... I don’t know. Your grades are better than mine.”
“By one point.”
“Two points. You have a 94. I have a 92.”
“Doesn’t explain the need for a tutor,” he argues.
You study him, choosing to base your reaction off his own. He’s smiling; seemingly happy, curious, and not at all upset. His tone implies no accusation, just confusion, and his body posture is straight, shoulders relaxed. A twinkle shines in his baby blue eyes; his level of eye contact is neither constant nor avoidant. He’s safe.
“I, um,” you decide to tell him the truth. Or, rather, stutter out the truth. “I don’t need a French tutor.”
“So I’ve gathered.” Decisive tone, yet still friendly. Still safe.
“I figured, since I would help you with chemistry, even though I’m not that good of a teacher, if you had to teach me something too, it would put less pressure on me to be a good teacher.”
His eyes narrow. “Okay… but why French?” He’s still a little confused on that reasoning, but doesn’t question it. He knows you’re shy. If that’s what you had to do to make it work that you could help him, he doesn’t mind.
“I, er, well, the French provided a win-win scenario.”
“Which is?”
You shrug, body warming quickly as you near your deeply guarded secret. “I- I don’t know how to explain it.”
“Mhm, really?”
“You’re best in French,” you offer instead, on a whim.
“True,” he agrees, “though I feel that’s not the real reason, judging by your lack of eye contact.”
“I’m always bad at eye contact.”
“You’ve been getting better with me these last few weeks.”
“Yes, but…”
“I’m not going to judge, Y/N. Whatever you say, it’s safe with me. You trust me, right?”
“Of course.”
“Then how is me teaching you French a, as you call it, win-win scenario?”
Finally, you fess, “because I get to hear you speak it every time you teach me.”
Isaac’s quiet for a moment. Then, you realize it seems to have gone over his head as he says, “you hear me speak all the time in class.”
“Yeah, but… with twenty other voices mixed in, too. I like hearing just your voice. The way you know just how to sound it out perfectly, and the way your accent flourishes each sentence. Most people in class sound like they’re gurgling saltwater, but you make it sound hot, like the way French is supposed to sound.” Your mouth utters words before your brain can catch up and prevent you from embarrassment. As soon as you realize what you’ve said, a dizziness swarms your head and it feels like the temperature’s gone up ten degrees.
Isaac is speechless in front of you. He’s first stuck on the fact that you like his voice, then on his pronunciation being described as perfect, but then he short-circuits as the word ‘hot’ falls from your lips. He doesn’t even realize when you plant your face into your binder, shocked by your own confession.
“I’m sorry,” you apologize. It’s muffled, but he hears it enough to pull him from his trance.
“You like my voice?” He asks, cursing himself for the stupidity of the question. It’s all he can think of to say, though, still trying to cool his own rising body temperature.
“I shouldn’t have said all that, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. I wasn’t thinking.”
“I’m not uncomfortable,” he blurts out quickly. “I’m actually quite charmed by that.”
You resist the urge to look up at him, desperate to see if he’s smiling or not. Isaac seems to have a similar thought, and tries to hook a finger under your chin to lift your head. He succeeds, but then you instantly embarrass again, and dive for the pillows, burying your face amongst them.
“Oh no, get back here,” he jokes. You feel him before you look out to see him. His hands shake your shoulder, but when you don’t respond, he playfully starts to tickle your neck. You scrunch and try to scramble away, but he only continues. “C’mon.”
“I can’t!” The words have finally sunken into his head; the weight of them falls on your chest.
“Oh, yes you can!” He teases more, moving pillows away from you, just for you to grab another and bury back under it. When Isaac realizes there’s no use in trying to win the pillow war, he swings a leg over yours and begins to tickle your stomach. Your shirt has begun to ride up from your movement, and temporarily, he forgets you’re classmates, not longtime best friends. “C’mon, give it up!”
“I-I can’t!” You’re running out of breath, and pillows. He pulls another away from you, then puts his hands back on your sides. Your eyes are squeezed shut, but only do you open them because of the unfamiliar feeling of him touching you. A beat skips in your heart at the sudden, unexpected realization that he’s not only touching your skin, but he’s also straddling your waist. You swallow hard. He pinches your side lightly, shocking you back into reality, and making you grab another pillow to hide your face again. Before you can grasp it, Isaac grabs your hands and pins them above your head. You pant, heart racing a mile a minute. His too, as you can hear in the moment you both grow quiet.
“You think it’s hot when I speak French?”
“No, I think you’re hot when you speak French. There’s a difference.”
“Is there now?”
“The temperature of the room doesn’t get hot, it’s you that gets hot.”
“Oh, I see.”
“Not that you’re not always hot… I mean, sometimes, you’re more like a cute little puppy than a hot, French-speaking…” your words fade as your brain catches up, faster this time, yet still not fast enough.
“Am I now?”
What’s done is done, you figure. Can’t take it back now, can only admit it. “Yeah.”
“Huh. So all this time, you’ve been teaching me chemistry, and I’ve been talking pointlessly while you listen and learn nothing?”
“When you word it like that, it sounds bad.” A pout graces your lips as guilt floods you. “But I have learned some things. I was struggling with direct objects, and now I’m not.”
“Ah. So I’m not totally useless?”
“Never. You wouldn’t be useless even if I knew perfect French.” Before he can reply, you continue. “I’m sorry I wasted your time. I shouldn’t have. Can you forgive me?”
“Forgive you for what? You haven’t done anything wrong.”
“I wasted your time when we could’ve been doing more chemistry.”
“Darling, too much chemistry and my brain woulda exploded. The French lessons are a nice intermission. Besides, I wouldn’t consider any time with you as time wasted.”
“Really?”
He drops your hands and they fall back down to your waist. He seems, then, to realize he’s still on top of you, and begins to climb off. “Sorry, I-”
“Don’t.”
“What?”
“Can I confess something else?”
He pauses. “Sure, anything.”
“I would’ve been okay with just tutoring you chemistry, but I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to look you in the eye long enough to do it well.”
“You’ve been doing great with the eye contact thing. I know it’s not your strong suit, but you’ve made a lot of progress these last couple weeks.”
“Thank you,” you smile. “It’s not only that.” A heartbeat passes. “I like you.”
“You like me?” His eyes narrow before he assumes only, “you like my voice.”
“No, I like you. I mean, yes, I like your voice, but I like it because I like you.”
“Like me, as in…”
“Like I have a crush on you.”
He tilts his head like a confused dog. “On me?”
“Yes.”
“Really?”
“Why do you seem so surprised?”
“I’ve never had anyone have a crush on me before,” he admits.
Now you’re confused. “What?! How?!”
“I don’t know!”
“That’s stupid. Never had anyone admit it, maybe.”
“I’d never know.”
“Well I’ve had a crush on you since the seventh grade.”
“You moved to Beacon Hills in the seventh grade.”
“Exactly.”
“And you’ve had a crush on me this whole time?”
“Very secretly.”
“Huh. Well I’ve liked you since the first day of school,” he confesses.
“I’ve liked you since orientation, so I win.”
He smiles, then shakes his head playfully. “So I sit behind you in classes for years and only finally get the courage to talk to you when I’m borderline failing chemistry, and you only get the courage to talk to me for more than one minute if you can convince me to talk half of the time that we’d be studying together.”
“Sounds about right.”
“And my portion of the talking is in French, because you think my accent is hot?”
“Your accent is always hot; your French is hot on its own.”
“Ah, I’m following now.” He chuckles, letting his fingertips grace your hips.
“So,” you ask, “as two people with several year long mutual crushes on each other, what do we do next?”
“Well you’re the one that’s been tutoring me chemistry, love, I’m hoping you have the answer.”
You laugh, rolling your eyes playfully. “Wrong kind of chemistry, dork.” You reach your hands up to the sides of his face anyway, and pull him down for a kiss. Isaac complies immediately, setting one hand down beside you, while the other caresses your chin. Your legs hook around his waist, keeping him close until he starts to pull away, needing air. You let go, then hide your face as his own turns a rosy pink.
“That was worth the wait,” he says, smiling, and touching a finger to his recently-kissed lips. “Êtes-vous d'accord?”
“Shut up,” you tease, pushing him slightly. “Chemistry time.”
“We just had chemistry time. It’s French time now.”
“No, we can skip a round,” you insist, unsure you can hear anymore French fall from his lips without folding and kissing them again.
“On the contrary, I think you need to sharpen your vocabulary.”
“I think I’ll need a water break first.”
“That we can do,” he agrees. “I’ll make sure to get yours with extra ice.”
“Shush!”

Dating Isaac Lahey would include:
Tumblr media
Stealing his jumpers constantly. They're literally massive, but they're soft, and they smell like old books, and the woods after rain, but most of all they smell like home
Going to see his lacrosse games. He would try to tell you that it wasn't a big deal, and that you didn't really have to come, but you would absolutely go full out every time
I'm talking face paint, colour coordinated outfits, banners, the works
He would be so embarrassed at first, but not of you. He's just shocked that someone would care about him that much
He would do this thing when the game ended where he would run across the pitch and kiss you in front of the crowd like he'd just won (even if their team lost)
If you guys are studying together, he would occasionally lean over to look at your answers, and when he gets caught he would pretend that he was going to hug you instead
"No, babe, you literally just look so cute right now" *continues peeking*
"Uh huh. It seems my answers are looking even cuter..."
"Well, now that you mention it-"
Lots of small touches. When you guys are walking together, your hands just naturally find eachother
Or when you're studying, you'll comfortably press your legs against eachothers under the table
Or sitting down, he'll sling his arm over your shoulders so you can lean on his chest
You both just enjoy the feeling of being close
He is constantly giving you his jacket. If he sees to even shiver slightly, the jacket is coming off. Even if you rub your arms, all of a sudden you have his coat dumped on you while he looks away bashfully and mumbles something about it being cold
Yeah, it's kinda chivalrous, but really it's more of a possessive thing
Speaking of being possessive, oh my days he literally cannot deal with other guys flirting with you
One time, while the two of you were eating lunch together, one of the guys from your history class came over and started flirting with you, and Isaac did not take it well at all
"I was thinking we could hang out on Friday? Just you and me, without your friend here"
Issac kept his head down as be wrapped his arm around your shoulder, finally looking up, eyes yellow as the sun, when he said
"You wanna try that again, bud?"
The guy almost seems stuck on the spot until you place a hand on Issac's, squeezing gently
"Sorry Ben, I'm actually Issac's girlfriend, so I can't"
Even though he was angry, hearing you tell people 'you are his' drove him a little wild
You write eachother small love notes all the time. Sometimes you give them in person, sliding small professions of love across the hard wood of the library desks
But sometimes it's more fun to hide them for the other to find later
So many times, Isaac has come home from a rough day only to move a folder on his desk and find a small note folded there. His face just lights up, the troubles of the day already fading in his mind, replaced by one thought: you
Or sometimes he'll flick to a random page in his textbook, and a small pink post-it will fly out from between the pages, the only message on it being "i love you"
He starts off as the big spoon, but you usually wake up to find him safely gathered up in your arms, asleep on your chest
Especially if he has a nightmare. He tries so hard not to wake you, but if he does, just hold him until he calms down, muttering sweet nothings until he falls back asleep. A lot of the time he doesn't even remember it in the morning
He's the one who deals with spiders, but not before teasing you about it
"Oh come on, he's just a little guy!!"
"Isaac, seriously, please take him outside"
"You sure you don't wanna say hi?"
He never kills them though. He kinda identifies with them, so he just grabs a cup and some paper and takes them out
There was that one time though, when the spider wouldn't fit in the cup, in which both of you really considered just leaving for a couple hours until it went away on it's own
"Yeah I think I'm gonna give this one a miss..."
"What do you mean 'a miss'? You're the big bad wolf, go sort it out!!"
"Wait, babe....where did it go?"
👁👄👁
*sounds of you both grabbing your bags and leaving the room* "nope" "nope" "absolutely not"
I actually had so much fun writing this!! It's crazy the kind of inspiration you get when you're trying to avoid studying, but anyway!! Hope you enjoyed, and feel free to send a request!! :-)

Isaac Lahey who works at a Christmas tree farm 👀
I was kicking my feet with excitement as soon as you sent this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It had been a long shift, and there were only so many Christmas songs that could be played on repeat before it began to drive a person mad. Isaac was cold through, his leather jacket not quite enough to keep him comfortable as he showed people around the farm, helping them pick out the perfect tree for their home.
He wasn't in a bad mood exactly, but as the day dragged on he wasn't exactly joyful. His feet hurt, and so did his cheeks as he forced a smile to everyone that walked by him. Every "happy holidays!" spoken in his direction was met with the same grin and a gentle wave, and at first it had felt honest, but now it was more like an act. He wanted to be at home, in the warmth of his bed, not surrounded by people.
That was of course, until you showed up. He didn't know why you made him nervous, or if the zoo bustling about in his stomach was rather a bad meal from earlier instead of the so called butterflies, but he felt something when he saw you. Something good.
"Hey!" you waved cheerily as you approached him. You were approaching him. oh god. "I want the best Christmas tree on this farm, where would I find that?"
Isaac was stuck for a minute, staring, until he saw a familiar face by your side. Lydia Martin, the redhead sending him a knowing look.
"Well, how big is your living room?" Isaac asks, trying not to sound as though he's scrambling for words.
"Average living room size I believe." there is a laugh with the words and Isaac grins at the sound of it. It's better than any of the Christmas music he's heard over the past month. Sweet sounding and hopeful.
"Right this way." Isaac leads you and Lydia off to some of the tallest trees, and watches as you look up at each one, inspecting them as though the decision is of the greatest importance. It is important to you that you find the perfect tree for your home. One's Christmas tree can make or break the Christmas spirit of those invited over, you believe.
"What'd you think of this one Lydia?" You ask your redheaded friend, who already has her own tree at home and isn't much interested in the outing. What she is interested in however, is the current presence of Isaac Lahey, in particular the way he is looking at you.
"It's a nice tree, a little the small side though." She glances to Isaac, "What are your thoughts?"
"My thoughts?" Isaac startles, eyes flickering between the two girls before him and the tree beside you all. "I think it's a tree—a good tree. Tall." He doesn't know exactly why you're having this effect on him, but he can tell Lydia is enjoying the show. She always did like to watch people squirm.
You're smiling, now not at the tree, but at him. "It is tall," you agree, "But is it tall enough?"
"Well you've gotta make sure you can still decorate the top of it, you don't want it to be too tall." He's slowly sliding back into normality, back into doing his job. He's watching you, and you're watching the tree. The slow nod of your head and the squint of your eyes tells you're deep in thought about this and when you finally turn back to him you seem uncertain.
"Are you sure it's tall enough?" you ask, knowing Lydia's opinion is different to your Christmas tree guide's. You have a step ladder for the tall parts of the tree to make decorating easier but you think if you go any taller it won't be of much use. Still, a tall tree is a good tree.
"Trust me," Isaac smiles, "it's tall enough."
And the crazy thing was you did trust him, and soon enough you were transporting the tree to the car. Lydia was only a little upset that you hadn't taken her opinion on board, but she was more so intrigued by the way Isaac stopped you before you could get into the car. He called your name, of which he had recently learnt from hearing Lydia speak to you, and jogged up to your side.
"Hey, I wanted to ask you something." His breath comes out in a fog from the cold, his cheeks tinted a light pink, and the look on confusion on your face is masked by the sweet smile you'd shown him before.
"Yeah?" you seem to know where this is going, courtesy of a glance from Lydia on the other side of the car.
"I was wondering if I could get your number? Maybe we could get a coffee sometime, if you're interested?" He's nervous, but trying not to be. Playing it cool is his specialty, or at least he thought it was. Now he's not so sure.
A gentle laugh leaves your lips, but not in a mocking way. You're glowing, sunlight covering you, though that could just be his imagination. "Sure, I'd love to." You pull out your phone and Isaac does the same with his own, and the exchange of digits is fast.
"I'm Isaac by the way." Isaac extends a hand to you after you've put your phone away, and you take it, giving his hand a firm shake.
"Pleasure doing business with you, Isaac. I'll see you soon." You let go of his hand and send him a wink before opening the passenger side door to the car.
"Yeah, see you soon." Isaac parrots back as you slide inside, the car starting as you go to leave the farm. It had been a long shift, but Isaac felt hopeful now, and as another Christmas song began to play over the speaker, he decided to sing along.

I hope you like it Gillian, Merry (late) Christmas!

Kinktober +18
Day #5 | daddy kink | Isaac Lahey.
Tumblr media
Kinktober masterlist
Warnings: daddy kink, rough sex
★★★
He was pounding into you roughly. You could feel how he touched every sensitive spot in your vagina.
You were basically hugging him. Your legs were tangled around his waist and your nails digging in his back. “ fuck, daddy, don't stop!” you moaned.
He looked straight into your eyes, “say that again” he grunted. Moving even faster than before. You didn't mean to say that, it just came out alone.
“fuck me harder, daddy” you moaned again, “please”.
This was going to be a long night.

Just a Little Spark
Tumblr media
CW: Nothing, really. There's so mutual pining vaguely happening. Reader is a witch, if that matters. It's mostly vaguely fluffy. It's also self ship coded as hell. It kind of flows as a part of a series of little one shots that tie together. Reader and Isaac are presumably in their early twenties in this. Oh! And it's a female reader, although I don't think there's much mentioned that would make it blatantly a female reader.
Word count: ~2.1k
Pairing: F!reader x Isaac Lahey
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Just a little note that this would take place (at least in my mind) some time after Isaac obviously left but before the (atrocious) Teen Wolf movie (where they still don't even bother to mention Isaac at all and I'm still salty about it) but since we don't know what ever happened to Isaac, I ran with the idea of him coming back to Beacon Hills for something and him meeting up with the reader who is on the road for her own reasons and there are more little parts to this whole thing that make it a friends to lovers kind of situation.
Tumblr media
You rolled your eyes and let out a sigh as you felt Isaac Lahey hovering over your shoulder, your attention being drawn away from the book you were skimming through because of his near constant need for attention. This was becoming a regular occurrence and while you were used to it, it didn’t mean that it made it any less of an annoyance. It was hard to get much done with Isaac hanging around so close that you could almost feel his warm breath on your skin.
You could tell without looking that he was leaning closer and soon he would be close enough to rest his head on your shoulder. You knew how much he hated the research part of things so him getting this close was Isaac’s way of trying to get your attention. As you slowly turned your head to look at him, the young man backed away, a sheepish look on his face when you both locked eyes.
“Sorry. I’m sorry.” Isaac raised his hands in apology and flashed a charming smile your way, knowing that it would be a good way to get out of trouble. His smile seemed to always get him out of trouble with you and he wasn’t above using that to his advantage. “Don’t yell. Please?”
You sighed louder this time, shaking your head as you rolled your eyes. You rarely yelled at him and Isaac knew it. You turned back to the book you had been thumbing through, looking for information that would help you both out of the mess you currently found yourselves in. In reality, the two of you had been entangled in mess after mess from the moment you met. Isaac had found his way to Seattle after leaving Paris, not sure he was ready to go back to Beacon Hills. He had pissed off the wrong wolf pack in the area not long after arriving in Seattle. You, a young witch, had taken it upon yourself to take Isaac in to keep him safe.
That hadn’t gone as well as you would have liked but now Isaac had someone watching his back, which was something he had needed. You both made it away from the pack Isaac had upset, although that wasn’t the end of your troubles. He was going to continue to need someone to watch his back because while he said he had a pack, they were in Beacon Hills and he wasn’t. Most packs who saw Isaac would assume he was an omega and they never lasted long on their own. With the two of you traveling together, neither of you had to worry about being on your own.
You needed Isaac as much as he needed you. You wouldn’t tell him, because you knew he would get cocky, but you felt safer with him around. It wasn’t as if you couldn’t protect yourself but there were still parts of your magic that you didn’t have control over, as well as things you weren't aware that you was capable of. There were times when you didn’t mean to expend large amounts of your energy but if you got scared or angry, you did it without thinking. When it was all said and done, you were usually alone and vulnerable. You needed Isaac there to make sure that nothing bad happened to you too.
You had left your coven, the only family you had ever known, when it was clear that some of the members of the group wanted to use you for their own means as you came into your own power. You refused to be someone else’s pawn but the decision to leave hadn’t been an easy one for you. You had to slip out in the wee hours of the morning, taking only as much as you knew she could carry. Luckily for you, you had an RV that you had been living out of since you turned 18 and while a lot of your books and other various tools of your craft were inside of it, there were things you had to leave behind. More than that, there were people that mattered to you that you had been forced to leave behind and that had been the hardest part.
But now you had Isaac and Isaac had you. Neither of you had to be alone anymore. You were a coven of two, a pack of two — as much as either of you could claim that. It wasn’t much but it was better than both of you fumbling about alone in the world.
“Are you going to seriously leave me hanging here?”
You looked over your shoulder at him again, your eyes narrowing and your full lips pursed. You didn’t want to be angry with him but he had a way of pushing your buttons at the worst times. If you hadn’t been trying so hard to concentrate, you wouldn’t have minded but Isaac needed attention at the exact moment that you needed to focus. You weren't sure you could split focus in a way that would satisfy him and allow you to do the research that you needed to work on.
“What do you want me to do, Isaac? Do you need me to entertain you? I’m sorry if this isn’t your idea of a good time,” you angrily said with a shake of your head, raising your voice more than you had intended. “Go for a walk if it bothers you that much.”
Isaac rolled his eyes this time, huffing as he flopped down onto the couch that sat behind the table where you was seated. His forearm was draped across his eyes as he laid there, acting like he was ignoring you. You hesitated but when Isaac remained quiet for longer than a couple of minutes, you let your attention drift back to the book you had been reading. You looked back once to see what he was up to when Isaac hadn’t bothered you again.
When you saw he was still laying there, you turned your full attention back to the book. If Isaac had fallen asleep, you didn’t want to wake him. More than that you appreciated the moment of silence. You tried to use it to your advantage, reading while you had a moment of stillness and calm.
It wasn’t long before you felt your concentration slip away. Maybe it was because you were worried that Isaac thought you were angry or maybe it was because you weren't learning anything that might help but you started to feel fidgety. It seemed that the book could wait since you were now having difficulty making sense of the words on the pages. The quiet was almost too much for you to bear. However, you didn’t hear Isaac as he rose and resumed hovering around behind you.
“Isaac?”
He had gotten up while you had been focused on your reading, silently pacing behind you as he hoped you wouldn’t notice him. It seemed as though sitting still wasn’t in the cards for him today either. When you called his name, Isaac perked up almost immediately, turning his head toward you. He had almost broken out in a grin but he suppressed the smile as best as he could, not wanting to upset you again. “Yeah?”
“Come here.”
There was something about the tone of your voice that Isaac wasn’t sure he should trust, especially after you had gotten snappy with him earlier. His eyebrows furrowed as he watched you, not sure what you wanted. “Why?”
You closed your eyes for a moment and sighed, hearing the skepticism in his voice. This time you waved him over as you spoke. “Just come here.”
“No, you’re going to hit me.”
You turned around to face Isaac, frowning as you realized that he still thought you were upset. “Look, you’re annoying me but I’m not going to hit you. Okay?”
His shoulders were slumped as he inched closer to you, closing the distance between you. He saw that the book you had been looking through was closed, noting that there was a slip of paper stuck in it to mark the page. His brows furrowed again as he stood over you. He towered over you even when you were standing but right now Isaac was like a giant standing over you and he could feel it. His back hunched as if he were trying to make himself smaller.
“What is it?” he asked, still a bit uncertain.
You reached for Isaac’s hand, your fingers gently stroking the back of his hand before you laced her fingers with his. An electric buzz raced through your body, starting at the point of contact between the two of you. It was an odd phenomenon that had begun happening recently whenever one of you touched the other. You saw that Isaac felt it too, seeing his breath catch, but neither of you mentioned it, as usual. For now it was just a thing that happened that neither of you could or wanted to explain and for now, you were happy to leave it that way.
You used your free hand to push back from the table, still holding his hand. Isaac looked down at your hands with a lopsided smile though. Sometimes you both wondered where this mutually beneficial arrangement was leading but most of the time you both let things happen. It didn’t stop Isaac from grinning like an idiot whenever you showed some semblance of wanting him around for any reason that wasn’t your protection or his safety and this was definitely one of those times. Maybe you both weren’t ready to talk about what was going on but you both certainly felt it.
His smile was infectious and soon you were smiling too, your thumb brushing the back of his hand. You weren't stupid; you knew the two of you were blurring the lines between this being something for your mutual protection and this being something more than a friendship. It was something you were going to have to confront eventually but today didn’t seem like it was the right time. Not when all you wanted was to keep Isaac from getting too fidgety, not when you knew you could use a break.
“How about we go into town and get something to eat? I think it should be safe.”
Isaac leaned forward and tugged on the curtain that covered one of the windows. It wasn’t far past noon and so far nothing had come for you both in the middle of the day. Even he had to admit that it should be safe. He nodded as he let the curtain fall from his fingertips, his eyes settling on you again. He gave your hand a gentle squeeze before nearly dragging you toward the seats up in the front of the RV.
You laughed softly as you followed him. You realized in that moment you were both too far past this being a friendship but you didn’t feel brave enough to bring it up. You thought Isaac felt it too but instead of bringing it up, you let him lead you forward, sitting in the passenger’s seat without an argument. Whatever you felt for each other was going to continue to be an unspoken thing for a while longer.
Isaac’s face broke out in a wide grin as he let go of your hand so he could start up the RV. You were renting a space at an RV park outside of a moderately sized town. If you were going to get something to eat, you would have to drive into town and Isaac was always so happy whenever you let him drive. You were so protective of the RV since it was the only home the two of you had at the moment. Giving up control of it to let Isaac drive seemed like you were trusting him with something even more important than your means of travel and the roof over your heads.
He turned on the radio, glancing over when he heard you humming along with the music. He almost reached out to brush some of your hair from your eyes but he stopped himself. Both of you hesitated when it came to gestures of affection, no matter how small they were. Soon Isaac was humming along with the music as it played as well. At least for a little while you both would get to be normal and that was so much more than he thought he could ask for. It was more than he thought he deserved but for the moment he was happy and he was going to live in this moment for as long as he could manage.

[1.4k] bitter nostalgia, better memories and a tall werewolf wanting to make cookies with his girl.
.
Isaac Lahey couldn’t remember a Christmas he ever truly enjoyed.
For his younger years, his Christmases were nothing but a microwave dinner shared with his mother and brother before his father came back from work. His mother would hand him a badly wrapped gift, something small that he was sure she sold a limb to get and watched as he clung it close to his chest as he fell asleep.
After his mother died, his Christmases were just a cold reminder of what he used to have.
After he lost his brother, Isaac couldn’t ever fully correlate the holiday season with anything but misery and bitter nostalgia.
However, a lot had changed in the last year. And a lot of it was hardly comprehensible, let alone believable.
He found out there was a whole other side to Beacon Hills he never knew. He escaped the man who tormented him for years. He found a group of people who felt more like a family than he had ever experienced in his life.
Yet, you were the most shocking change in his life.
Isaac Lahey never thought he would fall in love, and he especially never thought it would happen in a place like Beacon Hills.
But life seemed to work in funny ways and as the next holiday season rolled around, Isaac found himself six months into a relationship with a pretty girl he had convinced himself he would spend his high school career just admiring from afar.
He loved you. He knew there was no doubt in his mind that he loved you. And surprisingly enough, there was little you both disagreed on other than the stupid arguments you had.
But the holiday season was probably the biggest difference you shared.
Whilst December was nothing more than a month Isaac wished would pass quickly, you adored it. You loved the Christmas spirit and the decorations, you loved the carols and the colder weather. You loved it all and Isaac knew that.
He fucking dreaded it because he knew you’d rope him into something and he knew he wouldn’t be able to say no.
And it came in the form of puppy-dog eyes and a date night in.
You knew pretty quickly into the night that something was up with Isaac but you couldn’t work out what. He had arrived at your house, a strained smile and chaste kiss placed on your lips as a greeting.
He didn’t seem all that excited as he changed into some comfier clothes he left in a spare drawer in your room, but you played it off as him being tired after lacrosse practice.
“You good?” you asked softly when you were laying against his chest, some random hallmark Christmas movie playing in the background and an oddly quiet Isaac sat next to you.
“Yeah,” he murmured back, albeit a little distracted before placing a kiss on the crown of your head. “Just thinking about something Scott said, it’s no biggie.”
Your eyebrows furrowed together. “You’d tell me if something was wrong, right?”
Isaac smiled softly. “Yeah, of course, baby.”
You returned the smile. “Okay.”
It wasn’t until the next day when you were casually talking to Lydia about the night that she had laid out the cards to you, painting a picture that was so fucking obvious that you were almost embarassed you hadn’t even put the pieces together quicker. He was your boyfriend, for fuck’s sake. These were things you should have known, things you should have picked up on.
It broke your heart that the holiday season wasn’t as joyful and enjoyable to Isaac as it was to you. And you knew it wasn’t something you could change overnight, or maybe not ever. But you could make things easier, you could give him good memories to replace the bad ones.
“Babe?” Isaac called out as he stepped inside the house, already shrugging off his backpack and jacket as he made his way inside. “Hello?”
He received your message to pop over to your house after practice when he was in the locker room, a soft smile on his lips at the unplanned date. It wasn’t unusual for him to spend time with you after school but little things like this—where he knew you had something planned—did warm his heart in a way he never knew was possible. That someone cared enough to do little things like this was beyond him.
“Did you fall asleep on the couch again? Because I swear—” However, his sentence quickly died down when he stepped into the kitchen which joined onto the living room, and he spotted you standing by the counter with a wide smile and an apron on. “What is going on?”
“I am sorry,” you started as you made your way towards him, his eyebrows only furrowing further in confusion as you placed your hands on his chest and his automatically fell to your waist. “I’m sorry at how pushy I get during Christmas and I am sorry I’ve been throwing it all on you.”
Isaac’s eyes softened. “Baby–”
“But I love you and I want to make this time happy for you too, even if it's just for a few hours,” you continued as your hands fell down to rest over his, slowly making your way back towards the counter as you dragged him with you. “If it gets too much, we’ll stop and just put on one of those lame comedies you like.”
He scoffed. “They aren’t lame.”
“They kinda are,” you grinned and squeezed his hand. “What do you say? Wanna help me make some cookies?”
Isaac knew that if he said no, you wouldn’t take it to heart. He knew that if he said no, you would pack everything away and enjoy a casual night with him as if it were some random day in March. He knew that if he said no, you would happily respect his wishes and never once make him feel bad about the situation.
But Isaac also knew that he didn’t want to say no. He wanted happy memories with you. He wanted to stand in this cramped kitchen and pretend he knew a fucking single thing about baking. He wanted to take a step forward, a step away from his past. And he wanted to take that step with you.
“Anything with my girl.”
It was as horrendously chaotic as anyone could have imagined it to be. Isaac ended up being more of a distraction than help, finding more amusement in trying to convince you that a better use of your time and the counter space involved less flour and clothing. But you kept slapping his hands away, playfully scolding him as you knocked your hip against his and sent him to the other side of the counter to work on cutting out the cookie shapes.
“You’re insatiable,” you grumbled, an array of bowls with coloured icing surrounding the counter space as the cookies baked in the oven. The smell was heavenly and filled the house, but Isaac preferred his face nuzzled against your neck as he stood behind you, body pressed against his and his hands slipping under your sweater.
“I thought we were making happy memories,” he murmured against your skin as his fingers splayed across your stomach, his pinky dancing against the waistband of your leggings. “And I don’t know about you, but this makes me very happy.”
“Happy, wholesome memories,” you corrected, knowing very well your boyfriend’s stupid supernatural hearing made it clear he could hear the way your heart was pounding in your chest.
“I mean, if you wanna be whole and filled, I can think of many ways—”
“Isaac!”
“Relax, baby,” he laughed, pulling you tighter against his chest as you attempted to squirm away from him. He could feel the heat from your cheeks, the way your breathing got a little heavier and god, he just loved messing with you. “We’ll wait until after the cookies are out, got some time to kill whilst they cool anyways.”
“You are a bad influence,” you grumbled but it was lighthearted.
“Gonna punish me for being on the naughty list?” Isaac teased, his lips brushing against your ear as he spoke his whispered words.
“Bad boys don’t get to play with their toys, Lahey,” you warned playfully but you could have snorted at the way the boy froze behind you. “Gonna listen to what I say now?”
“Yes, ma’am.”
“Good dog.”
Isaac snorted.
Maybe this was the start of some good Christmas memories. Maybe the holiday season could grow to be something fond in Isaac Lahey’s heart.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ❝ [GLASS TIES] ❞
request by lovely anon who loves isaac and pain. pairing: isaac lahey x reader. summary: isaac and you share the perfect summer fling. those ties don't last when summer ends. content warnings: mentions of sex and death. there's like a huge teen wolf spoiler but i mean the show is over for years now. word count: 1,4k+
Tumblr media
working during summer wasn't your ideal way to enjoy the warm days and freedom from school work, unfortunately the city library needed help and you needed all the extra crap possible to make your resume look nice, full and interesting for colleges, so you'd spend three afternoons a week helping nerdy teens and old ladies find the books they wanted, register it as they borrowed it and more recently, read to a group of children once a week.
it wasn't the worst job, it could be quite fun... but it was mostly just silence, quietness and a bit of boredom, you enjoyed having access to that many books, but even you got tired of reading after a while, so when the most beautiful guy you've ever seen waited for you to notice him, you were busy laughing at your phone like an idiot.
and he could've faked a cough or anything of the sort to call you out, but instead he decided to simply lean down and insert his head in between your face and your phone, looking directly at you as he did so and making you screech from the scare. "oh my god, what're you doing?"
"getting your lazy ass back to work, apparently." he's nonchalant, his smirk makes him annoyingly handsome, and you'd remember those eyes and those curls anywhere.
isaac lahey, a year older than you, blue eyes, golden curly locks, greek god possibly. you blinked quickly and shook your head, so nervous you couldn't even think of a comeback to his sneaky comment. "so-sorry, do you need help?"
"need a book."
"good, we have some of those here, yes." you found your breach to tease him and you took it without even thinking, trying not to panic as the words left your mouth. isaac enjoyed it though, laughing and nodding along.
"sure, yeah, sorry. werewolves, uh, the less... fictional the better." you're about the laugh it off, yeah right. but he was completely serious, if only a bit concerned about having to ask for those.
you nodded and thought for a minute, putting up key words on the system to see if you could find anything. "we have some really old ones in our more special section, but they can't leave the building. also i wouldn't call them non fictional... i mean, werewolves right?" you shrug, chuckling lightly and he's oh, extremely amused, genuine laughing and you're not sure why. "but uh... they're quite old and kinda damaged, so we don't really know what the purpose of it was."
you take him to the back of the library and shows him the two books you mentioned, they are big, old and dusty and isaac has the time of his laughing laughing at how much you were sneezing back there. "glad you're having fun, but lower your voice, funny boy." you whisper shaking your head disapprovingly, but your smile was too difficult to hide.
you go back to the reception after telling him the library rules again, thinking that would probably be it; but it wasn't.
he took the books to where you were working, taking the closest table to you. he would spend minutes on end just reading, looking beautifully focused, but then he would glance at you and catch you staring at him, isaac would then smile, tell you to go back to work as you told him to keep his voice down.
it was the most fun you had since the summer started.
Tumblr media
isaac went back to the library every day after that, shamelessly leaving if you weren't working until he memorized the days you would be there. he truly wasn't much of a library guy, but he enjoyed spending time with you there. it was quiet, much quieter than his mind and his life, but still, it wasn't boring, at least not for him.
after the first week the books didn't matter, not giving him much more information for what he was going through, making you blush though, that mattered a lot and he noticed he was quite good at it.
he was getting used to having girls looking at him more, but something in you stood out. he figured out soon it was simply the fact you've been secretly glancing at him even before he changed. turned.
you would make comments as he walked you home after your shift ended, and he knew you didn't even notice how endearing it was or how much of a tell it was, so not a bike guy anymore? or you gained some weight, right? like, not in a bad way, not that gaining weight is bad, you're just... stronger now.
isaac felt connected to you somehow because of that, you had no idea of what he was, or how bad his life was before, but still, you liked him even then, even when he was broken and you didn't even know him. knowing someone paid some attention to him back then gives him conflicted feelings, but most of them are good. warm. tender.
you make him feel soft. and normal. and wanted. and he knows he could've made his move on you much sooner, but oh, he enjoyed the pining, the blushing, the way you bit your lower lip and tucked your hair behind your ear whenever he complimented you. he enjoyed the teasing too much.
after he kissed your lips for the first time though, he figured out what he enjoyed more than the teasing.
you.
being a werewolf in a freak city meant he didn't always have the amount of time he wished he had to spend with you. but that summer, all the time he had at his dispose was spent with you. calling you, texting you, working with you.
he would take you to late night movies, bowling and ice cream, so terribly charming even when he awkwardly ended up meeting your mom after sneaking in and cuddling with you all night, she adored him. gave him a pass to sleep over as long as he didn't sneak in and the door to your room was always open.
you both followed the rules strictly, but your mom wasn't a light sleeper, so what started with you guiding his hand down your pants ended up with him taking your virginity. slowly, quietly, tenderly. he locked eyes with you and didn't glance away for one second that night. told you words that were probably too soon to be said.
the three words left your lips like a secret, matching his.
Tumblr media
things changed when summer ended, school coming at you in full speed.
and maybe it was your fault, with all ap classes, extracurricular, volunteer works you put yourself through, or maybe it was the naivety of not asking what you two were, of not labeling what you both shared before the outside world came into play.
or maybe it was isaac's fault, and the way his outspoken personality sometimes served as a shield to his secretive actions. whatever it really was, you would barely see each other at school, each with your own little friend group, different classes, you were lucky to catch him in the hallways, where he would smile at you and touch your hand lightly as if you two were a secret.
were you? not exactly, but isaac wanted to keep you away from the mess, away from the killing, the blood, the fear. he didn't want to taint what you both had, so the more you didn't have time, the more he got away from you, slipped from your fingers.
and before you could even fight it, try anything to keep him, there was allison.
laughing with him, touching his arms, knowing things about him you would never dream about, you could see it, even from afar, the eyes of two people who connected.
confidants.
it broke you. but you couldn't do anything about it, you felt like it was your fault, as if your oh so busy academic life pushed him away. you let him go, no more texts, no more looking for a glance and a soft touch pass the hallways.
for weeks it was almost like it never happened, like your life was ever the same, like it didn't change past summer. of course you would go through the texts you shared from time to time, shed a few tears and pretend to get over it. and it worked.
until he was at your door sobbing. bloody. completely lost.
allison was dead. and nothing would ever be the same again.

Isaac: You Have Me
Wattpad Transfer: comes with warning of short Drabble with a little cliche shit + the twins being evil bullies
-
You were sitting in the library studying for your final in Chem class. You suddenly felt someone's presence. You've only felt this when it came down to one of the brutal and evil twins. You sat straight and as stiff as cardboard.
"Hey Y/N. How's it going? Oh studying for Chem." It was Aiden and Ethan. They both sat on either side of you when you didn't respond.
"Well hello to you too." Ethan said poking your arm.
"Now, Ethan remember she can roast your ass in a swift eye motion." Aiden warned. Which only gave you the idea of providing heat to his wrist. You practiced so much that it came naturally now. Aiden winced in pain as he held on his wrist.
"Go away now, and I won't burn your hand off." You whispered your threat.
"We simply have a message for you and Scott's pack." Ethan said calmly.
"Yeah, and that is?" You heard Isaac ask from behind you.
"Let Derek come to us and we won't force Scott to kill." He said and dragged Aiden out of the library.
After the library doors closed, Isaac spoke up, "Remind me to never piss you off." He set his bag down and sat besides you.
"Reminder, never piss me off." You said smiling as he kissed your cheek.
"Thanks for that, by the way." You smiled as you stared back at your chem book.
"Why do you put so much pressure on yourself. You are going to pass this test." He reassured you after noticing how you still looked tense.
"I know, I know. I just, I'm stressing because I don't know what my father is. It pisses me off that I don't know what I am." You sighed.
"You and Parish are going to be fine. As long as you have me, you'll be fine." He pushed your hair behind your ear.
"Awe you are too cute." Lydia said from between two bookshelves. "Now, let's study for this final."

Thank You, For Being You
Isaac Lahey x Fem! Reader Series
Ice Pick
Omega Part 1 | Omega Part 2 | Shape Shifted | Abomination | Venomous | Frenemy | Restraint | Raving | Party Guessed |
Prompt: You haven’t seen Isaac since that night and it’s been effecting you more than you care to admit. However, after finding out Derek is turning teenagers, you have more dangerous things to worry about.
a/n: So i don’t think there’s gonna be a lot of issac and y/n in this chapter :(( but i hope you guys still find it enjoyable! I really love writing her friendship between Scott and Stiles. I know we've seen a lot of the bond between Stiles and y/n so im excited to add more to the bond of Scott and y/n this time!
—————————————————————————————
It’s been a little while since that night on the full moon, you haven’t seen Isaac or Derek so you couldn’t even ask the so called ‘sour wolf’ on whether Isaac was okay or not. You finally told Scott about what happened on the field that day and it was nice for you two just to talk about everything. Everything ended up including how you felt about Isaac, which was definitely embarrassing to come clean about. You still remember the slight tear that had traveled down your face as Scott held your hand. Scott had made it clear that everything was okay and when you saw Isaac again, you would be able to talk to him about everything for real.
To say you dwelled on it the last few days would be an understatement, it plagued your mind every second of everyday. Where was he? Was he okay? Was he mad at you?
You grumbled in frustration, giving your cheeks slight taps, you could worry some more later. Right now, you would just let yourself be entertained by Allison dominating Scott at the rock climb.
“For a werewolf, he’s really bad at this,” you said, looking at Stiles.
He laughed, “Yeah, at this rate, I could beat him.”
“Okay, don’t get too ahead of yourself, you can’t even beat me.” Stiles looked at you, “Uh yeah, that’s because you cheat,” he sassed back.
“How do you cheat at rock climb,” you exclaimed.
Stiles folded his arms, “You just do,” by now Scott had joined the two of you along with Allison, “Alright you two, chill out.” You pointed at Stiles accusingly, “He started it!” The boy gasped in horror as if the accusation had pierced him but before he could make a comeback, Coach had already called for him.
“Alright, next two! Stilinski, Erica, let’s go!”
Your expression dropped, Erica was called. The poor girl was never good at these types of things, not to mention, you could tell she struggled with being in front of other people. It didn’t help that half the school took any opportunity to laugh at her. In the end, you did truly feel bad for her, you tried to reach out but every try was a failure. She would get these big ‘deer stuck in headlights’ eyes and stutter off an apology before escaping through to the nearest door.
Your attention went to the two of them as they started to make their way up the wall. Stiles surprisingly made his way up and down pretty fast, he whipped around when he hit the ground to send you a smug grin. Erica on the other hand, barely made it off the ground before she had started to hyperventilate.
“Erica, you dizzy? Is it vertigo?” You gave Coach a confused look at the suggestion and you weren’t the only one.
“Vertigo’s a dysfunction of the vestibular system of the inner ear. She’s just freaking out.” Lydia explained with a roll of her eyes. Everyone continued to look up at Erica.
“I’m fine,” she called out.
“Coach, maybe it’s not safe,” Allison voiced her concern, “you know she’s epileptic.” Coach’s head snapped towards her in shock, “Why doesn’t anybody tell me this stuff?” You raised an eyebrow at him, “It would be in her file.” He waved you off before going back to Erica.
“Erica, you’re fine. Just kick off from the wall,” he explained slowly, “there’s a mat to catch you.” She nodded ever so slightly before slowly separating from the wall and gliding down towards the mat. Coach supported her weight as she regained her balance. “You’re alright, shake it off,” he said lightly. You had reached out to take her hand but she had already started making her way through the crowd. You could tell she was embarrassed. How could she not be? Half the class was chuckling at her misfortune like it was some kind of comedy show. Walking up to Scott, your eyes kept burning into her back, making sure she was physically okay.
“They’re all such jackasses,” you remarked. Scott’s attention was now on you, he agreed before his shoulders dropped in concern.
Soon enough class was over, you were in the girl’s locker room when you felt your eyes glow. You hid your face from the rest of the girls but Allison must have seen because her hand was on your shoulder in a second, “Y/N what’s wrong?” Shaking your head, you shrugged her hand off slightly. “I don’t know, probably nothing, I still haven’t really learned to control it,” you suggested. It convinced the dark haired girl enough because she turned back to her gym locker to continue what she was previously doing. You did as well, opening your locker you looked in the small mirror you had attached to the door. Examining your face slightly, your eyes glowed once more, this time something in your mind snapped. You flung your body around, staring at the door.
“Erica.”
Allison looked at you once more, “What?” She questioned. She never got an answer, you had already sprinted out the door. Allison called for you, following you down the hallway.
“Scott!” You screamed noticing his figure just barely before he disappeared into the dark gym. You followed him, feet slamming heavily on the gym floor. The sound of others rushing towards you guys could be heard as Scott caught Erica just before she hit the ground and you reached her as well, supporting her weight to the best of your ability. She had starting seizing, shaking uncontrollably in Scott’s arms.
“Set her on the ground,” you urged, Scott nodded and hurriedly placed her on the floor as gentle as he could. By now others had joined you, including Allison and Stiles both with worried expressions. “Put her on her side. Put her on her side,” Allison repeated. She looked at both of you, “How’d you guys know?”
The two of you made eye contact both shrugging, “I just felt it,” Scott said and you nodded.
~
“Boyd.”
It was the next day, in the cafeteria and right now your time was being occupied by Stiles. He had dragged you with him to talk to Boyd, another kid in your class who worked at the ice rink. Currently said spastic boy was trying to get the keys to the rink from Boyd. However, things weren’t going as planned.
“You got the keys?” Stiles asked his body turned half away facing towards the windows of the cafeteria. Boyd stuck his hand out keys dangling making Stiles smile. He grasped the keys from the boy’s hand but to no avail Boyd didn’t release his grip. Confused Stiles tugged again. No progress.
“This isn’t a favor. It’s a transaction,” Boyd reminded.
“Right, yeah,” Stiles replied retrieving his wallet from his pocket, “Absolutely,” he placed a twenty dollar bill on the table. Boyd gave nothing but an unimpressed look, “I said fifty.”
“Really-,” stuttered back Stiles, “I remember twenty. I don’t know. I have a really good verbal memory. And I remember twenty. I remember that distinctive ‘twa’ sound. Twa-enty.” Boyd cut him off, “I said fifty,” he said firmly.
“With a ‘fa’ sound. Hear the difference? If you can’t, I can demonstrate some other words with the ‘fa’ sound.”
Your head rolled from side to side, “Yes trust me, he remembers,” you concluded with annoyance. You didn’t even care if you actually got the keys or not. You didn’t even want to go, well not now, you did before. Before Stiles had invited Lydia at least. You didn’t mind the red haired girl, or you didn’t hate her that is, but Scott had also invited Allison before hand. Originally, it was just meant to be your four meaning Stiles and you were gonna be the other pair since no doubt Allison and Scott were gonna have one another’s attention. Now that Lydia was invited, you were for sure gonna be the one left out. You weren’t angry at either of the boys or girls, just a little bummed that one of your favorite activities was now going to cause you to be an awkward fifth wheel.
Stiles blinked rapidly, “No, no, no. I think I’m recalling it now. Maybe I just got it confused with forty.” He slowly placed another twenty on the table. You could practically feel your eyes roll into the back of your head ‘this was getting to be too idiotic’ you thought. Boyd stayed silence, slowly putting a Dorito in his mouth causing you to snort. Boyd smirked pushing the bag towards you and you gladly took one. Giving him a slight nod, you leaned back in your chair to finish watching the train wreck in front of you. Stiles let out a defeated huff, “Come on, man, have you seen the piece of crap Jeep that I drive?”
“Have you seen the piece of crap bus that I take,” Boyd countered effortlessly.
You reached into your bag and quickly grabbed a ten dollar bill from the side pocket, “Here, I’m growing bored of this back and forth your trying to pull with him,” you said to Stiles sliding the cash across the table. Boyd smiled wide, reaching out once more keys in hand, this time Stiles needed no effort to take them from his hand. Cocking an eyebrow over at you he stood from his seat, “What’s your problem?”
“Sorry, I’m not exactly excited to be a fifth wheel,” you snarked before looking back at Boyd, “Thank you, you’re the best. Sorry about him.” The boy acknowledged your statement before returning to his act of eating.
“What do you mean ‘fifth wheel’,” Stiles questioned confused. You scoffed at him, “I mean exactly what I said,” you gestured your hand back towards your usual table, “you invited Lydia. Scott, Allison, Lydia, you,” you counted on your hand then motioned to yourself, “Fifth wheel.”
He mocked your scoff, “Oh, please, you’re not going to be a fifth wheel.” He wrapped his arm around you, “You’re our girl, you know that. We’re never just gonna leave you out.” You rolled your eyes, “Maybe not intentionally but Scott’s like a lost puppy dog around Allison and you’re no better when it comes to Lydia.” You saw a slight smirk rise onto the boy’s face, he tilted his head towards you, “We’ll if you’re that jealous we could always invite Jackson to keep you company.”
Disgusted, you made a face, “Ew gross, I wouldn’t be caught dead hanging out with Jackson especially not by choice.” He hummed, “You’re not denying that you’re jealous.”
You jabbed his gut causing him to recoil slightly, “I’m not jealous. Why is that even the first thing that comes to your mind? What, are you trying to make me jealous, Stilinski? Have all these years you harbored a crush on me, huh?” You teased, “Are you in love with me, Stiles?” He jumped back, “Don’t you even start with me, no, to all of that,” he waved his hands motioning to your figure.
“Wow didn’t realize I was that ugly,” by now you had reached where Scott was sitting, taking his apple you bit into while you listened to Stiles ramble, “THAT is NOT what I meant and you know it.” You assumed Scott had been listening in on the whole discussion since he was wearing an amuse look on his face. Stiles had sat across from you two, pointing at you like a disappointed parent, “Got em’,” he finally concluded placing the keys onto the table, “Pick you up right after work tonight and we’ll meet at the rink, cool?” Scott’s attention was already caught somewhere else and so was yours.
As if it was a whole different person, Erica strutted through the cafeteria wearing an outfit you would’ve never even considered that she owned. Her hair was done and her makeup as well. She made her way to a table where sat two random boys as she reached over and grabbed one of their apples, biting into it. Her dark red lipstick smeared slightly and she wasted no time wiping it away with a sultry smirk.
“What,” Lydia had joined her hands lightly slapping on your table, “the holy hell is that?”
“It’s Erica.”
You three never even had to look at each other before you dashed into the hallway together, jumping down the stairs and out the doors you find her once more but this time she was with someone. Derek. She was getting into Derek’s car, staring you down as if she was some kind of Bond villain. Once she was fully in the car, Derek sped away. You and Stiles both just sighed as your shoulders dropped, while Scott’s jaw tighten.
“Well now there’s three,” you remarked monotonously.
~
After school you had joined Scott at his work. While you didn’t work there, you often joined him on his shifts, thankfully early on Scott had gotten Deaton (his boss) to agree to it. Provided that you of course didn’t mess with anything, which you never did. It was just a great way to make sure Scott’s homework would actually get finished, plus it gave you somewhere to be instead of just home alone.
When Peter was alive, Scott had gotten shot and Deaton had taken care of it, he had also kept Peter from taking Scott. To this day you and Scott still don’t understand what exactly happened. How exactly Deaton knows about how to heal Scott. Actually, when you found out that Deaton knew something about the supernatural, he was your first choice to ask about what’s going on with you. You just never found a good time to ask, hence why you ended up asking Derek. Scott has also been trying to have a talk with Deaton about everything, which is where you are right now.
“Hey Doc.”
Deaton turned to face Scott. “When are we gonna talk about… the thing that we never got a chance to talk about?”
“Ah, yes. We never did get a chance to talk about that, did we?” You perked up, trying to listen to the quiet conversation going on across the room. Scott shook his head in response to Deaton’s question.
“Now is definitely a good time.”
“Thank God.”
“What do you think? Two dollars?” You tilted your head, what the hell? Apparently you weren’t the only the only one thrown off by the statement. Scott’s eyebrows scrunched together slightly, “Two dollars?”
“Ah you’re right, two-fifty more a hour. It seems like a pretty good raise.” You sighed, apparently now wasn’t a good time to talk about what you two actually wanted to know.
“That’s not exactly what I was… wait two-fifty more a hour?” Scott was cut off guard by the offer, “Done, don’t forget to clean up the cat cages.” Deaton shook his hand and left the room before Scott could come to terms with what just happened.
“Damn, he just cleaned your clock, you know that right?”
“What?”
You rolled your eyes and chuckled, “Nevermind.”
~
After Scott had finished his shift, Stiles arrived to pick you both up. You were on your way to the ice rink now, you were also still grumbling and whining in the back seat as he was driving. He looked at you from the rear view mirror and Scott twisted back to see you as well, they both laughed at your small fit you were in the process of throwing.
“Come on, Y/N. It won’t be that bad, we’re not gonna leave you out,” Scott reassured tapping your knee as you turned up your nose at them.
“Yeah, brighten up, plus we could still call Jackson to come hang out with you, if you want,” Stiles laughed.
You moaned, “No, absolutely not.”
Scott had glanced at Stiles slightly, had you been paying attention you would’ve seen the sly look they exchanged before Scott turned towards you once more, “Are you sure you’re not jealous?” You felt yourself choke on air, clearing your throat you said, “Why would I be?” Scott shrugged, “I don’t know, you didn’t have a problem with this idea until Lydia was invited. Maybe you wanted Stiles all to yourself.” You snapped your head down from looking at the ceiling to now both boys and you saw the cocky smirks they were both wearing. You scoffed and kicked both their seats, “Bite me.”
“Hey, what did Roscoe do to you?”
To be honest, this isn’t the first time you three have had this back forth (all joking of course), since Melissa has had you for so long she’s always treated you and Scott like you two were siblings. Stiles on the other hand, wasn’t allow in your room because he was a boy. Melissa had always given him a slight look when he would get too close as well. Those two things eventually dissipated and became less of a concern as you both got older. The inside joke between you three, did not unfortunately. After Scott had found out about your slightly different rules when it came to Stiles, you were teased tremendously for supposedly having a crush on the boy. Every time brought both boys pain to the gut.
You three arrived at the ice rink, Scott leaving and holding his door opened for you as Stiles came around the side to join you. Allison and Lydia had shown up already waiting for you. The boys went to unlock the doors as you follow close behind, when they finally got them unlocked they turned to you both playfully biting each side of your shoulders.
“Ow, what the hell was that for?”
“You said to bite you,” they synced.
The girls walked up, Allison reaching for Scott and Lydia barely acknowledging Stiles before walking past you both. You gave him a pointed and mocking look, he gave you a push before closing the doors and you both made your ways towards the rink.
You sat down in the bleachers, little bit away from where Lydia and Stiles were currently sitting. You know they were talking but quite frank you couldn’t really hear them. You had brought yourself a book because even though your best friends spent the whole day stressing that you wouldn’t be sidelined, you knew them way better than they thought you did. You glanced at your phone and debated on maybe calling someone to pick you up, but who would you even call?
Jackson? Absolutely not, even if you did, he wouldn’t come get you and you wouldn’t be able to stop yourself from punching him in the face if he did.
Danny? No, you didn’t want to bother the poor boy.
Matt? No way in hell, he gave you the absolute creeps.
Isaac? Now that, was a maybe, however the boy was in the wind. You didn’t even know if he had his phone or if he would even pick up. You haven’t spoken since that night at the police station and considering Erica’s behavior you were skeptical that the Isaac you knew would be the one to show up.
You sighed, placing your phone back next to you, with your hands at your cheeks and elbows on your knees, you watched Scott and Allison walk off towards the rink. Eventually so did the silent pair that was on your other side. Deciding it was best to just suck it up, you got off the bench and stepped onto the ice. It was one of your favorite activities after all. You twirled and skated, playfully messing around in the corner while the other four did their thing, all in their own worlds. That is, until you heard a scream. It was truly deafening, terrifying, unlike anything you had ever heard before. You placed your feet in stopping position and scanned to find the owner of the scream, only to find Lydia on her hands and knees screeching at the ice below her.
You all make your way towards her, inquiring on if she was alright, searching for any sign that something was wrong but nothing. All that could be done was Stiles holding her while she whaled.
~
The next morning at school, you were leaving class. You kind have been avoiding Stiles and Scott today, only talking to them this morning while on the way to school. You didn’t realize it before but you were more hurt by being left alone than you thought. After what happened with Lydia you guys all decided it was time to leave and when you got home, you quietly made your way to your room mentioning to Scott about just being tired. You had laid in bed for a couple hours wide awake, just thinking.
Were you jealous? No, you couldn’t be, despite the jokes, you didn’t actually like Stiles nor Scott like that.
After you had pondered for a little bit, you had found your answer.
Were you scared? Maybe. But scared of what?
...
Being replaced.
For the longest time, it was just Scott, Stiles and you. The trio. Always together, always there for each other. You did everything together and sure you knew eventually you would find partners and maybe other friends but it never dawned on you that if the boys each found someone, you would possibly be fazed out. You knew they would never intentionally do anything to push you away but that didn’t stop your worrying.
Your thoughts were cut off by a slam to the lockers. You turned the corner to see Erica backing up Scott against the lockers. Allison was in the distance too, she was witnessing everything. You didn’t know what exactly was happening but you knew that it was nothing good. You marched towards the two, grabbing Erica’s shoulder.
“What do you think you're doing?”
Erica finished her sentence to Scott, he gripped her wrist and pulled her off of him. She snarled at you before turning her back away from you.
“I’ll tell Isaac you said hi.”
You felt yourself falter, Scott noticed that your whole demeanor changed as well. He looked down and grabbed your hand squeezing it.
“I haven’t seen you today, we haven’t seen you,” he clarified. You took a shallow breath, “Yeah just had a lot on my mind.” He kept his gaze on you, “Is it about Isaac?”
You shook your head.
“Is it about the ice rink?”
You hesitated, before slowly nodding. Scott sighed, before pulling you off to the side, “We weren’t kidding when we said you’re not a fifth wheel.”
“I know, it’s not really that,” you mumbled, staring at your feet.
“Then what’s the matter?” You shrugged, swaying like a child before mumbling your answer once more, “I just kind of feel like I’m being replaced.” Scott was taken aback by your answer, he had no clue what to say. There was an odd silence in the air for a little while before Scott finally figured out what he wanted to say, “What made you feel like that?”
All you could do was shrugged once more. Talking about this was so hard. You finally sighed, “Okay, before I start, I’m gonna say this once and only once. No, I don’t have a crush on Stiles. Look honestly it’s just the fact that he’s trying to integrate her to be a part of us. I know it sounds silly but it’s true. It’s completely different with Allison, she’s your girlfriend, plus I’ve never had any problems with her. Lydia’s just I don’t know, she’s not awful, definitely better than Jackson. I guess since she’s not Stiles’ girlfriend, I get annoyed because with you two it’s different. You guys are DATING, of course I expect you guys to be in your own world but Stiles… she doesn’t even acknowledge him half the time so I know all his attention is going to be him trying to get hers. At least if they were dating it would be the same situation but it’s not. He’s-.”
“Okay, okay, hey look at me. Calm down, at this rate you're gonna make the lockers fly off the wall,” Scott joked holding your hands.
You wiped the tears that you hadn’t even realized had been falling, “Sorry.” Scott moved his hands to your shoulders, “Don’t be sorry, now what were you going to say?”
You took a deep breath, “He’s supposed to be my single buddy, you know, the friend that becomes your pair when the other starts dating someone. I guess in the end, I don’t really feel like you’re trying to replace me but Stiles is.”
“No, no, no, look I know I don’t need to say it but I’m going to, we’re not trying to replace you. Y/N, you’re our best friend, we’re family. Nothing and I mean nothing, could ever replace the bonds we share with you.”
Hearing that made you feel so much lighter, you know deep down you were being kind of ridiculous but maybe to keep you from imploding you just needed to hear that. That you were important.
“You’re right.”
“And I’m gonna talk to Stiles.” Your eyes widened, “What, no! Don’t do that, it’s fine!”
“Too late. Now come on let’s go to lunch.”
Scott had that goofy grin, that grin that says ‘I’ve got everything planned.’ “Also, you didn’t need to say that you didn’t have a crush on Stiles. I know you only have eyes on Isaac.” That caught you off guard, you choked on air, your head shooting up to look at Scott who just had that stupid smug smile on his face.
“Shut up.”
“It’s true! Even before all this happened, I remember when you two got assigned for that project together. You wouldn’t stop talking about it and you would mention him one too many times for it just to be because you had a project together.” You felt like your heart was gonna beat out of your chest. You knew that he knew but you didn’t know that he knew all that.
“Is it that obvious?” You said meakly.
~
During lunch, Stiles had rushed in to point out that Boyd was missing from school today, meaning Derek had gotten to him. That’s what you were dealing with now, the game plan. It was already after school and Scott was sending Stiles to Boyd’s house. He was also trying to send you as well but you wouldn’t budge, not when there was a chance to see Isaac. To see him okay.
“If he’s not home you call me, got it?” Scott instructed as you three headed down the hallway.
Stiles had slow his pace which Scott noticed immediately, “What?”
“Maybe we should let him. Boyd, you know? You said Derek’s giving them a choice, right?”
Scott grabbed his shoulder pulling him down the hallway, you trailing right behind them, “We can’t.”
“You got to admit, Erica looks pretty good. The word 'sensational' comes to mind.”
You scoffed, “Yeah, because she was basically manipulated into believing that this would fix all her problems. Sure she heard what Derek warned her about but I can guarantee she wasn’t listening. Big difference. I would put money on it that Derek is brushing it off like he did with Scott ‘If you listen to me, you’ll be fine.’ He won’t give them answers just false security.”
“How do you think she’s gonna look with a wolfsbane bullet in her head,” Scott argued as well.
Stiles took both your comments to heart, “Alright, all I’m saying is maybe this one, isn’t totally your responsibility.”
“They are,” Scott disagreed, “You know this thing is gonna get out of control and that makes me responsible.”
“Not to mention, could we live with ourselves if something happened to them, knowing we could have possibly helped them?” You added.
Stiles’ hands clapped to his sides, “Alright, I’m with you guys. And I also got to say this newfound heroism in you two is making me very attracted to you.”
You and Scott scoffed, “Shut up.”
“No, seriously. Do you want to just try making out for a second? We could take turns,” he suggested gesturing to you three as you pushed him away, “Just to see how it feels.”
“How about I take my fist to your face so you can see how that feels?”
~
Scott and you had reached the ice rink to see Boyd finishing out his shift. You had hurried closer, calling to him to get his attention.
“Boyd!”
“We just want to talk,” you pleaded.
At the sound of your voice, Boyd’s head had tilted up towards you.
“Hey, come on, Boyd, please,” Scott begged, “Did Derek tell you everything? And I don’t just mean going out of control on the full moons. I mean everything.” Boyd had shut down the machine he was using, “He told me about the hunters.”
“And that’s not enough for you to say no,” you asked. Scott continued your point, “Whatever you want, there’s other ways to get it.”
“I just want to not eat lunch alone everyday.” His statement froze you, you hadn’t considered something like that but still.. this wasn’t the best way.
“Trust us, Boyd, if you’re looking for friends, you can do a lot better than Derek,” you said.
“That really hurts, Y/N.” Derek. Of course he was here. Scott had turned around making sure you were behind him but that didn’t stop you from seeing him.
Isaac. He was okay, well at least you thought so. You were right though, he definitely wasn’t the same boy from before. Now, he not only dressed differently but he wore a different expression entirely. The sweet smile you adored was gone, replaced with a smug smile. “I mean if you’re gonna review me at least take a consensus,” Derek motioned to the two teenagers beside him.
“Erica, how’s life been for you since we met?”
“In a word… transformative,” She roared, literally. You and Scott adjusted your stances already seeing where this was going.
“Isaac?”
“Well, I’m a little bummed about be a fugitive but other than that, I’m great.”
You scoffed, “Let me add to that. Did dear old Derek tell you the whole reason Scott is in this mess, the whole reason all of us are in this mess, is because of his family.” You had moved next to Scott by now, pointing at Derek, “Did he tell you that the only reason he’s an alpha is because he decided to be a selfish prick and slash his own uncle’s throat? Even after he said he wouldn’t for Scott’s sake?” Your rant had caused an awkward feeling to fall in the room. The two teenagers clearly looked slightly uncomfortable at the new information, Derek had cleared his throat before staring back at Scott. You crossed your arms, looking at Scott before facing the newly formed pack, “I guess he didn’t. Hm, interesting, don’t you think?”
Scott had taken a few steps forward, “Okay, hold on. This isn’t exactly a fair fight.”
“Then go home, Scott,” Derek smiled.
With a growl, Scott had punched the ice denting the surface, “I meant fair for them.”
Isaac and Erica had no problem advancing towards Scott. He had taken your arm and quickly moved you closer to the machine and Boyd, out of the way and safe. Scott turned and without any effort flung Isaac across the rink, moving on to slam Erica into the side of the ice rink machine. That didn’t stop the two from getting back up and trying again. They had actually had a second where they got the upper hand, pushing him in between them before Isaac flung him away just like Scott had.
“Isaac, stop! Leave him alone!” He ignored you, his focus completely on Scott. It didn’t matter, Scott beat them down again and again, until they finally stayed down.
“Don’t you get it? He’s not doing this for you, he’s just adding to his own power, okay? It’s all about him. He’s makes you feel like he’s giving you some kind of gift, when all he’s done is turn you into a bunch of guard dogs!” Scott yelled, slinging them across the ice and back to Derek. They laid there in shock of what Scott had just done all by himself.
“It’s true. It is about power.” Derek started making his way towards Scott now, transforming, his eyes glowing that blood red and fangs growing. He slashed at Scott, punched, kicked, beaten down your best friend. You couldn’t believe your eyes, it was brutal, it made you shake out of fear for the boy. You had to do something but you didn’t know what. All you knew was that you were afraid, afraid of what might happen if you didn’t do something. You glanced at Isaac and Erica, still sitting on the floor their attention now switching from Derek to you. You could see it in Isaac’s eyes, he knew you were gonna do something.
“Y/N, No!”
You ran as fast as you could on the ice, reached for Derek’s hand before he could slash at Scott again but it was useless. He threw you like trash, away from them. You landed with a loud crash and a groan from pain. You heard your name being called from a few different sources but you couldn’t tell. Everything got fuzzy. Only it wasn’t from the throw it was like from before, with Lydia. Your senses were basically rendered useless, you couldn’t hear anything and everyone looked slightly blurry. You knew they were looking at you though, you knew they could see it.
Your eyes glowing.
Before Derek could notice you, before he could stop you, you picked your head up and that’s when your sense came back. Heighten, stronger and clearer than ever.
“Get away from him!”
You slammed your hands on the ice, causing it to ripple like it was water, it traveled towards Derek knocking him off his position on Scott’s throat. He fell to the floor and an energy pushed him into the ice by his throat, almost like someone was stepping on his now. The ice cracked underneath him but you didn’t care. You rushed to Scott putting his head in your lap.
“Scott are you okay?” He lightly nodded, coughing up some more blood. By now Derek had risen up, staring at you in shock. You shot him a glare, “Leave, or I’ll do it again. And this time, I won’t stop.” Derek had slowly backed away going to his two new betas, who were now staring at you. Erica try to tend to Derek but he just brushed her off, Isaac on the other hand, he kept staring at you even when Derek tried to guide him out. You couldn’t tell if he was concerned for you or scared of you. Boyd had gotten down from where he was sitting getting ready to join the others.
“Boyd, please don’t, we don’t want to see you get hurt,” you pleaded one last time.
“You don’t want to be like them,” Scott warned
“You’re right,” Boyd lifted his shirt, revealing his bite, “I want to be like you.”
~
You had gotten Scott back to the clinic where he was worrying about his wounds from Derek, “Why aren’t you healing?” You shrugged even though he was mainly talking to himself, you rounded the corner to see a guy on the table, slashed.
“It’s from an alpha,” Deaton said coming from the shadows, “I think maybe we better have that talk now.”
