Looking down a stairway toward the flats opposite, Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate
Interestingly to save space, the heating for the flats comes through the walls rather than radiators. The downside is that the heating is communal which means neighbours need to agree to one temperature for all the neighbouring flats. Surely a recipe for disputes?
Whilst I have plenty more Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate photographs to post, to avoid monotony I shall post some photographs of other locations before returning to the estate.

i think the poughkeepsie tapes is one of the biggest missed opportunities in horror. the idea of creating a faux true crime documentary to document a serial killer’s actions, especially given the glut of true crime docs that streaming has produced, is so so so good and the film actually manages to nail the verisimilitude in some cases. but the rest is just so fucking half baked. the serial killer is the smartest, most brilliant criminal on earth who has no character other than being smart and evil. the crimes documented just feel like a list of shocking atrocities that someone came up with in a violence dick measuring contest. some of the content is cool and the masked kill sequence is great but if there was ever a great idea ruined by a single minded obsession with producing edgy shock set pieces…….

Apparently people hate Roy now.
And really really hate the writing. (They’re tearing that locker room scene, among other things, up on Twitter lol.)
Meanwhile I’m still here enjoying both, especially Roy, and having my own little interpretations about this episode in particular and season 3 in general 🤷🏾♀️
