Something something, my persona as an MK OC.

Long story short, he's one of the member of the Sanctum of Seido (otherwise Orderrealm). Obsessed with keeping order, as any other Seido civilian, most presumably in matters of faith. Unlike other priests, Aquila is more laid-back and doesn't force his views of perfection upon non-Seidans. He may appear calculated and intimidating, but once you get to know him, he'll be the biggest jokester ever, competing with Johnny Cage. Some mistake him for an Edenian and he hates it. Loves dad puns and donuts.

Relationship with other characters:

Hotaru – despises him, despite the fact that priests are expected to treat guards with respect. Has nothing against other guards, just thinks that they need a different leader.

Darrius – used to be best friends until the Resistance happened. Is now mildly distrustful of him, even though deep down he still misses him.

Havik – is required to hate his guts, in reality - they're pretty chill together, even if Aquila tries to alter his decisions.

Ashrah – intrigued by her. Wants to know more about her path of redemption.

Kung Lao – mild crush (yeah OC x Canon cry about it).

Raiden – (previous timeline) worships him, but is concerned of his morality, (current timeline) "What a distinguished fellow!"

Johnny Cage – Friendly rivalry. Constantly compete on "Who has the best humor?".

Liu Kang – (previous timeline) tries to become friends just to get to know Lao better, (current timeline) worships, but recognizes his flaws and encourages to improve.

3. How do other characters generally feel about your self insert? - Thoughts towards Charlie tend to be neutral or negative outside of their circle. Charlie is often mocked by other parts of Demise’s forces as being ‘The Demon Lord’s Favourite’ and they get special treatment because of that. When faced with Queen Zelda at a later point (not SS Zelda btw), Zelda is very hateful of Charlie (not that Charlie cares and is more than happy to mock the queen and her forces at every opportunity, even one-upping one of Zelda’s guards in a sword fight out of pure spite). Charlie doesn’t care how these people view them, only that those close to them are safe.

Thoughts towards Lucien are typically very negative as Lucien doesn’t bother to come off as a friendly or approachable in any way. They certainly have a reputation throughout Hyrule of being a highwayman who attacks with two beasts (their reapers) for food, gold, or other things. They also don’t care if they injure or kill anyone during these escapades, which further muddies their reputation. Considering that their own village and parents were also very dismissive and hurtful towards Lucien when they were young, it has obviously affected them well into adulthood, causing them to take a ‘then let me be evil’ approach to life.

9. Who are your self insert’s closest friends? - Charlie friends are Ghirahim of course; Izanagi (who is also a mother figure to Charlie); The Dracolich; Terra & Caelum the ravens; as well as Moncéri, Ghirahim’s pet staldra.

Lucien’s friend group isn’t as big as they are more cold than Charlie and so, not really a fan of befriending people, but they do consider Sooga (naturally bc bf) and Kohga close and trusted friends.
