I was wondering what Kiri and Spider's first meeting looked like. I imagine that Kiri with her love for everything found a Spider, small, before puberty, all in the dirt, and was like, “you're my friend now^_^"

And then she just dragged him home.

Okay to ask this question I need to give my opinion so here goes

Kiri and spider’s relationship is not platonic that just how I feel I know there are many people who would argue but the chemistry is there and you can see it maybe I’m wrong but thats just what I think I see signals and clicks and other things that show they truly care about each other more then in a sibling way

That’s just how I see it now to my question in YOUR God honest opinion what do you think their relationship is platonic or something else

I respectfully disagree. I know I used to like the idea of them, but after realizing a couple things, I decided I love them more as platonic soulmates. Let's get into it!

After reading the comics, for example, I get the impression that Kiri really does see Spider as her family, specifically her brother:

And it makes sense. They're orphans of war and feel like outsiders among the people they hang out with. They understand each other more than anyone, but I don't see it as romantic.

And I'll admit, I have trouble shipping them with the knowledge that Kiri is played by a 74 year old actress (Sigourney Weaver for the win) while Spider's actor is clearly not (Jack Champion also for the win). I wouldn't think James Cameron would take the romance route knowing this as well, but I don't know.

If they take the Spider Sully route in future movies, I'll probably ship it even less so since they'll be adopted siblings.

This is just my opinion, but I respect yours, and I love the fact that you see them that way. Ain't nothing wrong with love 😊 Pandora clearly has enough to go around.

Conclusion: No, I don't ship them romantically together. But that's okay. Rotxo will hold both of their hands for me 👀 (I don't ship it, but I like the idea of the three of them being so sweet to each other)

Ships that I like involving Spider:

Lo'ak x Spider (much like Kiri x Spider, they still feel like outsiders to everyone but each other, and Lo'ak clearly would do anything to save Spider)

Ao'nung x Spider (I like the angst that this would ensue, big bully 'Nung realizing he likes the little demon that hangs around the Sullys)

Rotxo x Spider (my sweet boys, end of story)

Neteyam x Spider (again, more angst because they were likely close when they were younger, but Neteyam probably pulled away due to Neytiri's influence and his responsibilities as future olo'eyktan)
