heyy!

i’d like to “formally” introduce Myrtle to everyone since i’ve started this blog in the middle of her timeline.

so this is my beloved mint (gen 1) sim. her name is myrtle berrie and she’s a total cutiepie. she’s married to her roommate (his name is clayton) and has quadruplets. myrtle is a very mischievous sim yet she’s logical and smart. she works as an attorney (had to do a few tweaks to the original not so berry!)

i hope you enjoy the rest of her time on the simblr! she’s aging up as an adult soon so that’s pretty tear inducing.

B’s dad called her up and asked to go to the spice festival with him. They had a blast! Even joined the curry challenge and won! Both got a t-shirt to commemorate this achievement. Since their time was so enjoyable, she’s decided she’s going to go and visit her parents and sister in willow springs this weekend. Should be an awesome time!

Part Two - Love Day and The Spice Festival!

Love day morning! I woke up bright and early and ate some yogurt, then watched TV for a few hours. The neighbors seemed to be having some trouble with the trash chute outside...XD

Tyler called me around nine and asked me to come on a date with him, so of course I said yes!

Myshuno Meadows~

Tyler and I met up in front of the cherry blossom tree at the front of the park, and I could see in his eyes that he was nervous about something.

Tyler: “Luna...you look beautiful this morning.” *blushes and looks down*

Me: “You don’t look too bad yourself.” *smiles*

We shared an embrace, and I gave him a tulip that I had picked from the side of the road on the way to the park. He seemed to like it, but he was still nervous. To help ease his nerves, I started up a conversation. He eased into it, and after a while I could see the nervousness fading from his posture. He took my hands in his, and pulled me close. This time, it was MY turn to be nervous. His lips inched closer to mine, and suddenly we were kissing. I felt like I saw fireworks.

Afterward, I led him across the park and played him a song at the grand piano near the wedding arch. He always loved hearing me play and sing. When I finsihed, he pulled me up from the piano bench and kissed me again. I melted into his arms; I’d been waiting for this moment since were kids.

Not wanting to wait any longer, he led me across the park once more and over to one of the fountains. He asked me to officially be his girlfriend, and I said yes. Finally!

As our date neared its end, I gave him a final kiss and led him out to the gazebo. We sat there and cuddled until it was time for me to go. As I left, I glanced at him from behind me, thinking: How did I get so lucky?

When I got home, my friend Maya who I’d met when I first moved to the city was sitting outside by the basketball court. We talked for awhile, and she told me she was waiting for the Spice Festival to start. When I told her I’d never been, she gasped and told me that I HAD to come with her. I agreed, and we talked until it was time to start.

The Spice Festival~

Turns out we had a whole group of friends show up! Samaya, Me, Maya, Tyler, and even my neighbor was there! We all made a beeline for the curry table, determined to see who out of the five of us could beat the spicy curry challenge. Spoiler alert: it was me!

After being declared the winner, I went to the clothing stall and bought a festival t-shirt to keep. After all, who wouldn’t want to remember a night like this?

I spent the remainder of the festival trying food and talking to my friends. It ended up being just me, Samaya and Tyler, but we still had fun. It was a night for the books for sure.
