I made a comprehensive infographic about the different skills of the STARS members that vary from expectable to utterly wild. Some of the characteristics of these people make me all the more feral for a game about them being alive and well and working together and Raccoon City.

Resident Evil writer~ Albert Wesker Twin Sister OC
(OC art is on wolfs-crescent) Alaina Wesker~ Looking for Albert Wesker in Raccoon City, briefly meeting the S.T.A.R.S. unit at the RPD. (Takes place before the mansion incident)
---
"Hi, how can I help you," the lady in the front replies as a person walks to the front desk.
"Does an Albert Wesker work here," a smooth, feminine voice causes the woman to look up.
Completely baffling to silence. Everyone has some type of knowledge to stay away from the eerie captain. Yet in front of her seems to be the woman version of the captain.
"Is something the matter," this causes the police officer to stutter in movement as the blonde raises a brow.
"No no, I am sorry," the officer feeling her face get hot, "I believe Captain Wesker is with Chief Irons but I can take you to his office."
"That would be nice," leaving behind the front desk, she took immediate notice that the female 'Wesker' was heavily pregnant.
"Uh, they moved the S.T.A.R.S. department upstairs," the blonde smiles at the officer's sudden concerns.
"It's fine, I need the exercise anyway," gesturing to the officer to lead the way.
Stares were very obvious towards the pregnant woman as she practically looked like the intimidating captain of S.T.A.R.S. Long blonde hair passing her hips with the signature dark sunglasses. The long, slimming dress shows off that she is carrying life.
Chris jumps at the sound of the door opening, fully excepting Wesker to come in. Laughter could be heard as Jill teases Chris for jumping.
Then it goes completely silent as the officer from the front desk shows a woman identical to the captain.
"His office is right here and I will let him know as soon as possible," giving her best 'im not terrified smile.
"Thank you," nodding with confirmation, "And do let him know, I do not like waiting."
Giving a nervous giggle," You can have a sit in there if you like."
With a nod, the blonde goes into the captain's office. Before anyone in the office can question the front desk officer, she leaves in a hurry.
"I thought that was Wesker," Chris whispers to anyone in the room which happens to be Jill, Barry, and the new recruit, Rebecca.
"Maybe they're related," Rebecca chimes in.
Jill shrugs, "I mean it's not far off."
"It's like seeing two clones but different gender," Chris tries to look through the blinds of the office in his seat.
"Cut it out," Barry scolds all three.
Unkownly the blonde sighs, obviously they are not quiet as they think to be. Setting her bag on the other chair, she gently rubs her belly smiling at the little kicks. It's been a long time since she've seen Captain Albert Wesker.
Rolling her eyes behind the sunglasses, she decides to have a little fun. Standing up, she goes over to lean on the doorframe, "If you have questions go ahead and ask them. The whispering is quite annoying," smiling as all four froze as if they've been caught with a hand in the cookie jar.
Chris and Jill jump at the sudden action as Rebecca stood, "We're sorry, it's just you look a lot like our captain."
Letting out a small laugh, "It tends to happen for twins to look similar."
"Wesker has a twin sister," Chris says a little too loudly. "I thought he came from the depths of hell."
Crossing her arms above her belly, "Well, you wouldn't be far off," That causes Chris to stifle a laugh
Rebbecca shyly comes over to the female Wesker, "If you don't mind me asking but how far along are you."
Jill follows behind, amusing the pregnant blonde, "Around seven and a half months." Smiling gently as she places her hands on the swollen belly, "I don't mind if you want to feel the baby."
Rebecca and Jill are in front of her in an instant. "I don't understand women," Chris mutters to Barry.
Barry snorts, "It's a baby beside it's not every day you see a soon-to-be Wesker baby."
Chris watches Barry go over to the gaggle of women, asking his own questions. The family man is what Chris thinks as he decides to walk over.
The four S.T.A.R.S. members ask various questions about the baby and Albert. Chris notices that some of the answers about the captain is a bit vague. Appearing to be more content with answering questions about the baby.
Despite being very much pregnant, the female Wesker is pretty. He could see the pale blue eyes peeking every now and then from behind the sunglasses. Soft lips spread into an easy smile.
The conversation falters as footsteps out of the office get louder. Almost like the person is running at a full sprint. The blonde smiles as everyone stare in shock as their captain slams the door open.
"Alaina," the team was surprised that the usually stoned face captain showed any expression besides anger or annoyance.
"Albert," replying with a gentle wave that didn't match her smug smile.
"When did you- What are- Why," it was startling to see the captain lost for words.
Alaina laughs, "Well, I had to come here, didn't even bother to give me a way of communicating. Quite rude to be honest," the last statement had Albert flinching. "Least you could do is give us a hug."
Albert made sure he didn't have any weaknesses and yet it was a lie. His weakness was his sibling that he shared the womb with. Seeing her threw him off his agenda, he needed her to leave Raccoon City.
Walking over to his sister whose arms are open he hugs her with a gentleness that he only shows her. It was strange to see her but even stranger to see her pregnant.
"Sorry for being distant," he tells her pulling away. Suddenly noticing the eyes of his team. "Perhaps we should go into my office for privacy."
The tone causes the team to immediately turn around. Rushing back to their desks. Alaina laughs as she watches the team get back to work. Both Weskers walk into the male twin's office.
Albert closes the door and closes some of the blinds, knowing that some of his members are nosey. Sitting in the chair by his sister, she grabs his hand. Placing it atop her belly, feeling for the life being created.
"It's a girl," Albert observes the soft smile that appears on Alaina's face.
"Who's the father," Albert feels a soft thump against his hand.
"No father just went to the clinic," brushing hair behind her ear, "I don't have the time for a fully-fledged relationship, especially with the life I live now."
"Why did you come here," Albert ponders, you shouldn't be here.
The delicate smile falls from her face, "I will be due in less than two months. I came here to tell you something and I know you're up to something."
Albert didn't know what to say. With everything going on, he's able to predict what's going to happen and how to control it. Except with his sister, it was unpredictable, almost irrational. She was everything he wasn't.
"Your silence says it all. I'm the only person who understands you the most and I should do something about it," muttering the last part to herself. The grip on his wrist tightens, "If anything happens to my baby, I will raise hell on you. I will never forgive you."
Albert didn't care if his wrist has begin to hurt, "I won't let anything happen."
"Promise me," Alaina slightly raises her voice. "There's nothing I want more than to be free, Albert."
The little kicks brought depth to her words. Even then, Alaina did have a habit of putting others before herself. Despite the shades blocking her eyes, he can sense the desperation from them.
"I promise," Alaina's grip around his wrist relaxes.
"I will hold you to that," Albert sees her side-eye him.
"I know."
"You're going to tell me to leave aren't you," releasing his wrist completely to cross her arms over her belly.
Albert could feel himself smile, "You know me better than I know myself." Pulling his hand away, he runs it through his hair, "But I do need you to go, it won't be safe here."
"Nothing is safe around you, not even your own flesh and blood," chastising him.
Hating the way of being scolded by Alaina, yet with anyone else, he would've rebuked back. Truly a weakness. A weakness that needed to go and stay gone.
Alaina releases a sigh, "Until we meet again."
Albert repeats the vow, "Until we meet again."
And with that, she stands. Watching her leave as she slams the door shut with unnecessary force. The windows to the office shook violently, binds clinking against them.
~~~~~~
Chris was startled as Rebecca calls out for him, "Chris."
"Rebecca," a bit stiff from the sudden jumpscare.
Meanwhile, the younger was trying to catch her breath, "I saw you in the garden. I've finally caught up."
Chris decides at the moment for Rebecca to stay close by. Can't stand to see people he cares about die because of him. The rookie agrees and follows Chris' lead down the elevator.
The way down leads them into a room of giant stasis tubes. And there was Wesker typing away. The sight of Wesker made Chris' blood boil.
"Wesker," the shouting from Chris has Wesker finishing whatever he was typing before turning around to see the two.
Chris and Rebbecca step back as Wesker patronizes them, putting both of them at gunpoint. The smaller brunette flinches as Chris demands answers, which causes the blonde to sight, "I think you're confused."
Chris seethes as Wesker gives his brief monologue about his true intentions. Chris could only scream in anger as both are still at gunpoint, "You killed them."
Rebecca's eyes widen at the sudden realization, everything connecting " ... No."
"Oh yes, de-," Chris cuts off Wesker, annoying the blonde.
"What about your sister. Does she know about any of this," Chris implies.
A moment of weakness. Wesker freezes in that moment of weakness at the mention of his twin. Without thinking rationally he shoots Rebecca, "Don't move." Stopping Chris in his motion towards Rebecca, "You leave her out of this."
Chapter I
████████████████████████ . Raccoon City Police Department.
The clacking of boots in the crowded police precinct, the laughs, the loud mutterings and talking. Party decorations for the new recruit on the Police Department’s Special Tactics And Rescue Services unit, or S.T.A.R.S team was exciting.
This was something else. It was revealed a week ago by Chief Brian Irons that the police department needed a new ‘special force’, one that could do special investigations. Stop powerful people. And now here we were welcoming the leader of the team. If he had decided to stop working on his desk, maybe I would have caught a glimpse of the guy.
Rounds of alcohol littered the desks, documents forgotten as the RPD celebrated it more as a break than as a new recruitment. Myra was at home, she would have stayed at the party if the daycare wasn’t closed today, so I had promised her to finish that investigation of the murders in the mental hospital, get home sober, and if I’m lucky, tuck in Lily before she goes to bed.
What else was he supposed to write? The sudden presence of the S.T.A.R.S unit was out of the blue for the police department, yet it was introduced like everyone planned this for months. Not to mention that they already had a leader? It made no sense, it made his gut twist into a knot. Brian talked about the team like it was a line of justice no one else could join. What was the difference between the police and the agents? What kind of missions did they do that was so important?
He couldn't make sense of it, he’d just stay quiet like always, Sebastian didn't want to put the job he worked so hard on in jeopardy, he refused to get his wife in the line of fire as well. Begrudgingly, he forced the thought to the back of his mind. Closing the journal he kept with him since his first day of becoming a detective.
Detective Sebastian Castellanos, he had proudly marked the journal with his new title.
He’d look around the office he worked hard for, the desk covered in an organized mess. Myra would complain but never push him on cleaning, it was how Sebastian worked. The corkboard was displayed against the wall next to the door. It had his scheduled meetings and interviews with victims and witnesses, but most importantly, there was a drawing Lily had made.
The corners of Sebastian’s lips quirked slightly, before looking back at his desk. Two folders settled on his desk, he needed to finish the one he was assigned. The other folder was more of a… personal project, having snuck the documents from the investigations office.
The file Irons gave him was leaving him frustrated, a vast amount of reported ‘missing persons’ without any evidence or clues to even account for a suspect. It pissed him off every time he thought about it, his hands combing through his already slicked-back hair.
He couldn’t stress about it right now, he would go and enjoy the party for the new S.T.A.R.S member. Maybe a drink could wash down the responsibilities of having most crap stacked on his desk. He stood up from the shitty, old, leather desk chair that was here before he became a detective and popped his back. His feet dragged along the floor to finally leave the suffocating room.
The main room was filled with the smell of beers, cans thrown around the room like someone who had taken out the trash with the bag ripped at the bottom. The welcome poster on the floor with two corners barely hanging to the podium holding it up. The name of the new leader’s name ripped off. So much for knowing his name. The officers who were still around were talking in slurred gibberish, some waiting by the front door for their ride.
Chief Irons was laughing loudly, his cheeks flushed from the amount of alcohol he drank, both hands holding beer cans. The rest of the officers laughed at his terrible jokes to probably get on his good side. When the Chief finally took notice of the stumbling detective, his face turned hard as he tripped to reach him as well.
“Castellanos,” Irons burped out, the disgusting sound of his throat trying to form a string of words without throwing up. “The new recruit is asking for you.” Taken aback by the request, Sebastian cleared his throat. “Sir, I was actually going to tell you I was about to head home-” He wanted to see the guy, but just bumping into him sounds better than actually meeting him head-on.
“You can make it home to your wife and kid, just talk to him.” Irons shook his head disapprovingly, his hands shakingly pointing to an empty part of the precinct. “Think he's working-” He let out a choked grunt, the sound of something caught in his throat sent shivers down the detective’s back as he hurriedly made his way to avoid what the chief ate for dinner.
The hallway was a quieter, calmer part of the police station that still smelt of fresh paint and wax. As he opened the door to the new office, the atmosphere became more tense and heavy. The RPD had just finished this area, but the way the wax overpowered his senses made him almost gasp for air. The clicking of computer keys caught his attention.
“Nice to meet you, chief said that you needed to see me?” Sebastian asked with the best, welcoming smile he could muster. The room was dark, the only light source was the blue screen of what the new guy was working on. “I’m Seb-”
“Detective Sebastian Castellanos.” The man finished, looking up at Sebastian, he wore formal attire, his eyes were a sharp pale blue, and his blonde hair was slicked back. Sebastian’s lips pursed together. How smoothly he spoke freaked him out, his tone held an attitude of ‘I’m better than you in every way.’ His smile was fake, if he could call moving the corner of your lip slightly a smile.
Sebastian hated the atmosphere surrounding the man, he didn’t like knowing what he didn’t know.
“Yeah, you hit the nail.” Sebastian's brows furrowed, cautiously trying to figure the guy out. “And you are?”
The recruit stood up, his hand extended for a proper greeting. “I’ve heard of your work from Chief Irons, I wanted to ask if you were interested in joining the S.T.A.R.S. alpha team. A good detective is what I want to train future agents in the unit.”
“The name is Albert Wesker.”
Tumblr media
OH MY GOD THIS TOOK SO LONG. I was able to do anything else because this chapter was in the back of my mind. It sounds boring now, but I promise it gets more interesting, this is just to test the waters in how I’m gonna write this…
I find myself in you
Carlos Oliveira x gn! Reader
Summary: Carlos comes home and he is deeply in love with you.
warning: none!
gif not mine!
Tumblr media
As Carlos walked through the door of his home, a wave of longing washed over him. The familiar scent of their shared space filled his senses, but something was missing. He called out, "Hey, you, I'm home!" with a hint of melancholy in his voice.
In the cozy kitchen, you were preparing a meal, your hands deftly moving across the cutting board. The soft sound of the knife slicing through vegetables provided a gentle rhythm, a melody that accompanied the silence between you. Carlos watched you, his heart warming at the sight of your focused expression.
With a sigh, Carlos began recounting his day, sharing stories of the chaos and dangers he faced as a member of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service. His voice filled the room, punctuated by occasional laughter and the clattering of pots and pans. He spoke of the lives saved, the battles fought, but all the while, his eyes remained fixed on you.
As you listened intently, he couldn't help but feel a sense of completeness in your presence. Your unwavering support, the way you understood him without needing words—it was as if you held a mirror to his soul, reflecting back the strength and resilience he often overlooked in himself.
Time seemed to slow as the aromas of the meal mingled with the unspoken emotions in the air. Carlos moved closer, drawn to you like a magnet. His eyes met yours, their warmth and tenderness capturing the essence of his feelings. In that moment, he realized that he found himself mirrored in the depths of your gaze.
"It's funny," he murmured, his voice barely a whisper above the bubbling of the simmering pot. "In your eyes, I see the person I strive to be. The strength, the courage, the compassion—it's all reflected back to me, reminding me of who I am and who I want to become."
You smiled, a gentle understanding passing between you. The metaphorical connection transcended words, a deep bond formed through shared experiences, unspoken love, and unwavering support. Carlos reached out, gently caressing your cheek, and whispered, "Thank you for being the mirror that shows me my true self."
In that embrace, amidst the fragrance of the meal you prepared, Carlos felt a sense of belonging, a profound gratitude for the person who saw him for who he truly was. Together, you stood as partners, navigating the challenges of life, finding solace and strength in each other's presence.
As the evening unfolded, the two of you shared a meal that was more than just food. It was a communion of hearts, a celebration of love, and a reminder that in the eyes of the person you hold dear, you can find the reflection of your truest self.
I'm already so bad down for K, not even funny, please step on me.
Rude LI are the best ... tho I'm also particularly curious about R once they get introduced.
The STAR team thing reminded me a lot of Resident Evil before I remembered that irl units are also named that way haha.
Oops I'm rambling, long story short, I really really like this IF and can't wait for further content!
Hi, I'm glad you liked my story!
I'm glad you like K! But don't be afraid to fight back if they get too rough. K deserves it. As for R… I think R's going to be a disappointment to a lot of players with the "I can fix them!" idea. I mean… You can definitely try.
In RE ‘STARS’ is the abbreviation for “Special Tactics and Rescue Service” and I used the “Special Tactics and Response”.  I've been told this twice now, so I decided to change it to "CID" (Criminal Investigative Division). It’s not really important to the story anyway. Thank you for your message!
End Of An Era: A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo Team Announces Final Airshow Season
The A-10 Demo Team has just announced their farewell tour 2024.
David Cenciotti
A-10 Demo Team Farewell Tour 2024
The U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II demonstration team is the unit in charge of highlighting the A-10C’s capabilities during airshows across the United States and to recruit, retain and inspire the next generation of Airmen. The team will perform its duty for one last season this year: in fact, as announced on social media, 2024 is going to mark the final airshow season for the Warthog demo.
The farewell tour does not come unexpected though: last month, the 355th Wing at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, where the Demo team is based, begun divesting its fleet of A-10 aircraft after nearly 50 years.
The first model of the aircraft to arrive at Davis-Monthan was an A-10A on March 2, 1976. This model was assigned to the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing that arrived here in 1971 and replaced the Vought A-7D Corsair flown by the 355th TFW. The 355th TFW was later reclassified as the 355th Tactical Fighter Training Wing, prompting the 354th, 357th, and 358th Fighter squadrons to train U.S. Air Force Pilots on the A-10A aircraft.
The heritage paint scheme of the A-10C Demo Team, introduced for 2023 season.
The U.S. Air Force has plans to divest the entire fleet of A-10 aircraft within the next 3-5 years, when the iconic jet will be replaced by the F-35.
“The A-10 has been the symbol of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base for many years, and it will continue to be a symbol for the Airmen of DM, a symbol of their commitment, excellence and service,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Scott Mills, 355th Wing commander and A-10 pilot in a public statement. “For now, we’re divesting a single squadron during the summer-fall timeframe of 2024.”
Coinciding with the divestment, Davis-Monthan plans to expand its Rescue Footprint, which may lead to additional utility of the HC-130 aircraft and the HH-60W helicopter. Airframes expected to arrive from the Air Force Special Operations Command include the MC-130 and OA-1K.
Capt Lindsay “MAD” Johnson, Demo Team Commander, poses in front of her aircraft.
“From an Ops personnel standpoint, this divestment arguably allows a more expeditious stand-up of the F-35, even as that program continues to struggle with a variety of delays,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Razvan Radoescu, 355th Operations Group commander.
The aircraft 82-648 was the first to be retired from service at Davis-Monthan on Feb. 6, 2024, and transited from the 354th Fighter Squadron to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group for final maintenance procedures and display preparation for the Davis-Monthan where hundreds of retired Aircraft are stored.
“There will always be a job for maintainers; it may not be on the A-10, but the Air Force needs maintainers to sustain airpower,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Clarence McRae, 355th Maintenance Group commander, “Perhaps the biggest draw of future maintainers will be in the F-35 community. Airplanes are still going to break, and we are still going to fix them.”
One of the memes that you could find online during the early days of the Ukrainian invasion by Russia.
Anyway, there’s still time to attend an airshow and watch the A-10 Demo Team, commanded by Capt Johnson, an Instructor Pilot and Flight Commander assigned to the 357th Fighter Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona and previously served also in Texas and Korea, at her second season as the commander of the team.
Here’s the schedule.
