I realize that Piper's canon evolution is into Espeon, but do you think there's any other Eeveelutions she might have considered evolving into instead?
OH YES ABSOLUTELY. I had such a hard time picking just one eeveelution for her, omg
I was deciding between Umbreon and Espeon for a while, since these are both friendship evolutions, and I eventually decided on Espeon because of its symbolism with the sun (and because its signature move is Morning Sun, which makes me go a little bit insane). I still think Umbreon would've been a nice choice though :]
I would've LOVED to have Sylveon as an option too, but it doesn't exist in the game hnggg
In reality, I don't think Piper would have thought too much about evolving - one day she'd simply be sitting with Clementine and it just... happens.
(I really like the idea of her suddenly evolving with high affection instead of needing an item or going to Luminous Spring, both her and Clementine would be so confused SKDJFKDJG)

Ur tags about how Miles and Pavitr are the ones who say "I can do both" because it IS quintessential spiderman thinking AND because they're too young to have seen that devastatingly not work yet. BUT the thing is they are RIGHT but only if it's "we"! Spiderman's mythos is inherently a lonely one reinforced by Miles and Gwen's isolation and by every. single. intro. reminding us that every spider person is the "one and only spider person"! And yet!! These films are just about relationships (1/2)
YES YEAH YOU GET IT !!!! and (quite recently rewatched it and mentioning it here cause i can't believe i forgot to mention it in the post you're talking about) it really gets me that gwen also says 'i was doing both' in regards to protecting miles and protecting the canon event, and i love that the phrase was reflected like that, even tho (at this point of the movie) miles and gwen pretty much oppose each other in views/priority !!
it also absolutely kills me the way that gwen begins (like you say) atsv quitting the band and isolates herself, and then throughout the whole thing she finds something/someone that she wants to take that leap for, all over again :') she (and the entire spider-team!!) is willing to bet everything on miles and is ready to fight for him, and i really just love the idea that miles just is a force that inspires good !!!! IT REALLY IS ALL ABOUT LOVE!!!

this is biased given its personal AND super recent, but “i haven’t slept in a week”. i was scared to post that but im actually really proud of that writing lmao, despite how terrified i was to post it
then there’s “for all the love i’ve found in you, i’ll be forever grateful baby”. i hated it at the time but i’ve grown to be really proud of it, and that poem i wrote. also because i wrote that for akeyla and it’s actually really sweet
and also “baby it’s cold outside”. that fic is my child like i’m so proud of that fic
and then also “like crying out in empty rooms, with no one there except the moon”, “like mother, like daughter” (agggtm), “but this situation’s helpless” (this was my favourite fic id ever written for soooo long), “fools who run their mouths off wind up dead”, and “steal into my affections”
16- a tiny detail in canon that you want more people to appreciate
omg okay so musical canon, i think people should focus on some of the ways that burr especially says some lines. like the sound of his voice, the way his delivers his lines. like i made that soit the other day about how he says “i get a drink” in the world was wide enough. i feel like we really need to appreciate more the way he delivers his lines. i don’t know how to describe it, but he just sounded like. flat. you can tell by his voice he was just like. “holy shit. i have just killed hamilton.” and he regretted it. i don’t know how to explain it. but we really need to appreciate this more
in historical canon, i feel like we need to focus more on the schuylkill incident. i swear that’s the funniest story ever. and also the aides friendships and family dynamic?? and also lafayette and washington’s friendship and kinda like. father-son relationship. it’s just. as much as i absolutely adooooore washington and alexander’s relationship, in historical canon he was definitely closer with lafayette than alexander.

24- how has fandom positively impacted your life?
okay. how do i even begin with this.
fandom has been a huuuge part of my life since i was 6, with harry potter. i remember when i was in year 5 (10-11 years old-ish), we had to write a creative story, and i fully wrote a marauders era fanfiction. because that’s how i got into creativity, it was through fanfiction. i remember my year 5 teacher giving me a whole lecture about how i can’t write something that already exists, and i was really upset about it, and i spent ages refusing to write fanfiction, and only write original works, and i just couldn’t get anything written. fandom and fanfiction is a huge part of my life, and it’s a huge outlet of stress for me.
i would use fanfiction to make sense of my feelings for years, even when i was younger, and i’d get a bit of disconnect from strong emotions by giving them to characters, and i’d feel just that little bit better. and also reading fanfictions, where a character is feeling and going through similar things always make me feels a little bit less alone, i could read or watch the canon material and see my comfort character, and i’d remember that in a certain fanfiction where the character may have been going through something similar to me, and i’d be like, “well if this character, who is so strong, can get through it, i can get through this. i can do it.” and it would give me that comfort. seeing my comfort characters feeling the same way always makes me feel a bit better about everything

What was your first ship and what fandom was it from?
Is there a (Genshin) ship that you used to ship but don’t anymore?
Rate zhongven from 1-10 and explain why (I enjoy zhongven very passively and therefore don’t really think about it much or talk about it much with other people, so I’d love to hear some of your thoughts on it!)
1) my first solid ship was probably Rose/Pearl from steven universe…They were also in hindsight kind of a main gay awakening for me bc it was specifically just like messy complicated interpersonal feelings between 2 women with sort of a romantic intimacy that just made me go ohhhhh. Now I finally understand why ppl enjoy romance. I had other “ships” prior but it was just me going “oh this is cute I guess” in response to other ppl liking things. After all of this it somehow took me years to consider the lesbian or aromantic labels. Help
2) not a ship but the only genshin dynamic thing I can think of that I felt out of is probably like, father/son zhongli and xiao. When I first got into genshin I vaguely rocked it but I’ve kind of gotten so polarized out of enjoying it bc of how a lot of people handle it in fanon so it just squicks me out a lot of the time >___> now I sort of just enjoy zhongxiao in a very ambiguous secret third thing sort of way
I RATE ZHONGVEN 10/10 I enjoy them a lot. I think it’s hilarious because on one hand it’s like insane old married couple who gets divorced for fun and on the other it’s just…old friends who genuinely get along who balance each other out personality wise in a sweet way. I lost my god damn mind over lantern rite 2023 having them interact and what made it even better is they put xiao there too and made my vision about the fact I think Xiao gets ping ponged between zhongven and is forced to witness their insane marriage canon. Incredible. I love characters that banter with each other it’s really good and I think it’s fun becwuse Venti and Zhongli are both people who don’t express alot of genuine vulnerability…but them being vulnerable with each other feels reasonable to me just because they’re such old friends and understand each other through that
So you get characters who contrast and compliment each other very well but also, and this is the key thing about why zhongven goes from A tier to S tier for me: it’s funny. Like their canon lore involves Venti getting drunk and pouring wine on Zhongli’s head and Zhongli going between calling Venti “a disgrace to the arts” while also complimenting his music as being “unmatched throughout the land”. They both stare off into the distance and reminisce about missing each other in a sad old man way. It’s so good i think there’s something wrong with them . A+ ship

The drowsy inhale is met with a sharp exhale before his mouth purses and he hums a thoughtful murmur, all the while making it a point for his black eyes rimmed in a halo of gold to not meet the redhead's fox-like amber hues; partially due to meaning to further unnerve the other, by making him believe his fate rested on little more than one of the Prince's capricious, wild and temperamental decisions ― for which he is particularly known for amongst the Folk ― yet mainly because he still does not trust himself to be able to look Locke in the eye without bursting into yet another fit of violence ― one that Nicasia would be unable to stop, given her intended absence the last handful of weeks after the incident herself and Locke the two took place.
Even so, the mere sound of his voice ― melodic, song-like and weaving, ever so always weaving ― bothers him, and it requires a great amount of effort on his behalf to keep his own sharp features nonchalant and void, as though he is drunk on Faerie wine and any semblance of thought currently eludes him. Alas, he does not miss the wavering speech ― near identical to how his voice had faltered when he caught him and Nicasia, nude in his chambers ―, that minute pitch of fear in the other's voice and he pretends not to hide the slight curl of his lips in the prospect of the thought that Locke fears him.
Good, he decides with evident satisfaction. He has proclaimed himself to villainy, after all; he is worthy to be feared.

He does not mention that it feels as though as weight has been lifted from his shoulders upon the prospect that he will no longer have to spend his life as a consort by Nicasia's side, in the dark, watery tomb that is the Undersea's palace, nor the fact that he has spared him from the murderous ploy Queen Orlagh had in store for him as soon as her daughter's claim to the throne of Elfhame had been established. It matters little in this instance, and it would only give the Fae a footing to spin the story in his favour and claim that he only acted in Cardan's best interest rather than himself's.
With a swift motion, similar to that of a feline, the Prince is sitting upright, with his body now fully turned to face the redhead. ❛ Perhaps, you ought to be more concerned with how many fish and shrimps you have enraged rather than my pettiness. I hear Queen Orlagh is quite. . . creative, when it comes down to her ways of vengeance. Thus, to answer your question: nothing. I do not intend to do anything, for the Undersea will do it for me. I believe, it will be rather entertaining sitting idle while a bunch of Nixies munch on your skin the next time we go swimming. ❜

Who is more dramatic, Seto or Pegasus?

this is a very long post im so sorry
i think that both of them are very dramatic, but i feel pegasus is more flamboyant and theatrical. i feel like he puts more effort into the act and its more like a performance for him and that makes him such a fun character
he orchestrated a whole plan to get yugi to the island and own kaiba corp in the Most Steps Possible - like im sure there wouldve been an easier way
like all the things he did were insane: stealing yugis grandpas soul just to battle him, buying a whole island for said purpose, staging a coup at kaibacorp just to use the holographic tech there, keeping little mokuba IN A PRISON CELL
seto takes himself too seriously when he says something so bizzare which makes him more dramatic imo,, and like he just Does Things like out of nowhere just because he can (like the whole putting the guys head in a suitcase and stepping on him situation)
like this whole sequence of events - like he enacts his revenge on yugi for beating him in a card game battle by making a whole theme park of death - is such an overreaction (or is it idk i feel like he sort of deserves it after having his soul eaten by monsters)

secret: What's one secret your OC never wants anyone to know about them?
Some of the things she did for Nezarr. Willingly, and not.
I think...a lot of it is that she doesn't even necessarily feel guilt over all the acts. It's more a 'sorry I got caught and you found out this horrible act because of its social stigma' and 'I'm so fucking boiling alive with rage that Nezarr made me do that. That's why I'm angry. Because he took my agency, over what I actually did' and I think she's probably more worried about people's perceptions at her reacitons to things.
She's a smart girl. She understands peoples emotions, words, minds. Nezarr taught her so very well how to utilise your words for better and worse, and exactly how to manipulate people. That, she's at least thankful for.
Funnily enough, Voss isn't the first person to learn some of these secrets. Orpheus is, when he helps her uncover lost memories with the aid of his psionics. And she uh...doesn't like that much lol.
wound: How does your OC handle being wounded? Are their wounds mostly physical? Mental? Emotional? What's the worst wound your OC has ever experienced?
Vanquish generally has a high pain tolerance. A bit from column her patron(s) help her out with her, a bit from column she was moulded under cult leader Nezarr how to handle and tolerate pain. Even how to enjoy.
But, the burn she received from [redacted] has kind of put a dent in all of that (which is probably the worst physical wound she has received). Her burned skin is pretty sensitive all in all (it's from void fire so her skin acted a little differently to a normal fire burn. also. magic). And pain there feels different. Heightened. Lke it's seeking something else.
Vanquish is reckless as fuck though, so often suffers wounds. And she just kind of takes it as part of who she is now. Because she thinks it is. Anyone looking at her can see that. Half of her body is scarred to shit.
Most of her wounds though, are emotional. The worst too.

Meeting on Valentines means Jiraiya is going to make as much of a spectacle as he can when in a secret relationship. So he sent a coded message to Hana telling her that their usual room is occupied and he booked a different one for them.
Little did she know was that she was going to walk in on the extra mile being done for such an occasion. Roses on the bed, champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, and a meal tucked under a plater and covered with cloches.
Sitting casually on the bed dressed like a protagonist out of his horny novels, was Jiraiya. A rose in hand as he twirls it around his fingers. “Happy love day, Hana.” He says before patting a white and red box. Which had a quite the revealing set of lingerie for her to wear. It’s red and simple. With black bows to accent the underwear and straps. Convincing her to wear such things will be a whole other conversation.
Hana wasn't expecting to receive a Valentine's Day gift this year, much less something so elaborate, since they were keeping things a secret. So when she received Jiraiya's message she hurried out as fast as possible. But she had no idea just how far he had gone.
Upon opening the door, she was greeted with an extravagant sight. It was incredible; roses, champagne, chocolate - the whole nine yards! Hana was speechless for a moment and stood in the doorway, eyes wide with surprise and mouth agape. But as Jiraiya welcomed her, Hana's surprised expression turned into a soft smile. This was more than anyone had ever done for her before.
🌸- “This is…this is incredible!” she said, walking inside and making sure the door was shut tight.
She was very curious about the wrapped gift sitting on the bed. What else could he have gotten for her?
Opening the box revealed a set of red lingerie with black accents. It was a little more revealing than the nightie she usually wore, but it was cute and she couldn't wait to try it on. But now was her chance to tease Jiraiya a little bit.
She turned to face him, a cheeky grin on her face.
🌸- “All of this is just wonderful; thank you so much! Now, should I go ahead and try this on or should we eat and enjoy some champagne first? Decisions, decisions~.”
