Never will I forgive purgatory for essentially interrupting and then breaking the storyline that both cellbit and roier had spent hours upon hours planning for and working on and building up to, the story they were both really excited to do, the one that cellbit had, quote, “waited for the right time to do” that apparently wasn’t the right time because every bit of planning and preparation had basically been made useless as soon as it was revealed that purgatory would last two weeks and had disrupted the story to the point of cellbit having to go and try and rework his story and not really knowing how to do it. Unforgivable crimes against humanity here I think

i’ve noticed jurassic fans love to criticize camp cretaceous for things that other jurassic content they love also has??
like “the kids have too much plot armor there’s no way they would all survive that long.” but it’s ok when eric kirby survives alone for months on sorna? or when ian malcolm’s daughter kills a raptor with gymnastics?
“the mind control is dumb.” girl the mind control is literally in dominion and fallen kingdom and some of the old jp video games.
“it’s for kids!” it’s literally just as much for kids as every other jurassic movie except maybe the first. and why would that make it any worse? seriously do you not realize how much goes into to making these movies as marketable as possible? half the movies just feel like excuses for new figures and plushies. camp cretaceous embraces the childlike wonder the series is built on but is written for everyone. there’s plenty for adults to enjoy calm down.
they just like to say it’s bad because it’s animated. i feel like a majority of vocal jurassic fans are just like 40 yr old guys who just want to watch cgi dinosaurs fight and hear chris pratt affirm their toxic masculinity. jwcc is so good and has so much heart but they’d never know.

thanks for making a popular show with a dedicated fanbase it really helped contribute to david zaslav’s $39million 2022 salary but also fuck you you get less than 4 hours of screentime to work with and you might not get renewed so you should use some of that to give your show an ending and who cares if it feels rushed bc they’ll watch it anyway and it’s not gonna stop our shareholders buying new properties this year
no nothing is gonna have 20+ episodes per season again and you can’t have time for a beach episode or a character pov episode or anything like that. no ‘filler’ just bare bones 8 episodes of plot and you have to speedrun your character development bc if you make the same stuff but quicker and cheaper and worse then we get more money see. also we don’t fucking pay our workers properly :)

I’ve talked about some off this before (sorry I’m just brainwormed) but one of the most interesting aspects about Northstar to me is that he’s a celebrity. And loved by everyone.
But he’s hated by every team he joins. He can’t get along with anyone. This happens through the entirety of Alpha Flight (in any given issue they’re always talking shit about him or fighting with him) and when he first joins the X-Men (see below). Both of his teams HATE him, at least at first.
And he pretends to not care but everyone hating him and being abandoned is his greatest fear. His biggest fear is being alone.
And the appearance he puts up of hating everyone and not caring is just a facade to protect himself.
Which is so *chef’s kiss*. Marvel please do something with this again I am BEGGING YOU. Please stop making him the quirky gay guy who’s generically happy and gay and friends with all the other gay characters and the end. He’s an egocentrical famous asshole that everyone who knows him personally hates. At least at first. Please. My god.
