The last panel didn’t come out exactly how I wanted, but eh- it was killing me so it is how it is-

This event was when Alex realized “oh my god I love her”, a bit before they were dating. Just seeing the moonlight jellies reflect off her eyes (which I couldn’t illustrate properly sadly-) and the pure joy on her face while there was a comfortable silence with them just standing next to each other enjoying the moment was something he realized he wanted to experience every year.

He just impulsively nudged her hand with his when he realized his feelings, and Luna, being the the physically affectionate friend she was, thought nothing of it and was happy to hold his hand while watching the jellies. (don’t worry, she realized her feelings for him not long after-)
