Hey everyone! So recently I've been going back through my posts in order to make a better ordered list for myself of what songs I've already featured, and because of that, I also started putting together some information about what Vocaloids and Producers have been featured on this blog the most so far! It was fun putting this together, so I figured I'd post the information as a little end-of-the year style thing!

Some of the exact numbers may be sliiiightly off, but they should be pretty close. And the numbers here are up to date through the song posted today (December 31st).

I'm hoping to start doing this as an annual thing, with updates to the rankings at the end of the year.

Also: as a quick secondary update- I have decided that this blog will start to feature songs using vocal synths of any kind, not just Vocaloid-specific songs. I still intend for Vocaloid characters to make up the majority of songs featured here (and I currently have a long queue lined up that still has only Vocaloids in it), but I will start to add other synths into the mix, and song suggestions are now open for solos featuring non-Vocaloid synths!

He truly is the embodiment of the harsh, brutal depths he hails from. ;;;; seeing Reader in the storage closet with Floyd pushed him over the edge he'd been teetering on for so long now. T^T he's far surpassed the point of no return. I had so much fun finishing this fic and portraying Jade in such a terrifying manner. And poor Reader had no idea what hid behind that seemingly pleasant smile of his until it was too late...

There are so many layers to Monops!Jade. How he gets so disgusted at the sight and thought of you with anyone else. How it's not really sexual gratification he's after; he's just chasing some thrill he's yet to figure out in its entirety, which is why he doesn't touch you at all during the non-con scene. Because it's not your pleasure he cares about; he could care less whether you feel good or not. How his sanity is so thin and threadbare that it's hardly there at all. How he fails to recognize that, despite the similarities he shares with Floyd, he's still his own person, still different, but not different enough for you to look his way, apparently. And then there's the meaning of Monops, which is a "one-eyed creature." >:D aaaaa he's truly the worst.

G/A/É/M: Especially for Gan/Astarion/Minthara, I think they'd all need to make sure the person is trustworthy enough to be aware of their secrets (cause always having to compel or control someone is going to be taxing if they're supposed to be romantically involved). So with any of them, a new metamour won't be a metamour until they've passed the tests. Just want someone to fuck around with? That's fine, let's have fun. Possibly developing an attachment? Whole other story lol. S/F/S: No vetoes because I don't really see them bringing anyone else into their relationship to need to veto any metamours.

Does the polycule ever have get-togethers or dates where everyone is present? What are they like?

G/A/É/M: If they aren't traveling together, I think a lot of theirs would revolve around eating or taking care of business. S/F/S: Yes. It really just feels like old times before they were all romantic with each other. Might as well be back at the Hanged Man playing cards and drinking or in the old mansion doing the same.

G/A/É/M: Astarion doesn't participate in sex with Gan and Minthara. Astarion will participate with Gan and Étoile sometimes. Étoile will participate with Gan and Minthara sometimes. There would not be group sex between all four of them. S/F/S: When they first began their polyship, it was more one on one with Sonika and Fenris being together or Sebastian and Fenris being together. As Sonika and Sebastian became closer, they began engaging with each other sometimes. Now group sex does happen occasionally.

I’ve been meaning to clean up the computer files. It’s a lot of work sorting out the junk. It’s a lot of hard work, and you know I’ve always been kinda accident prone. It’s entirely possible some important files will accidentally be sent to the trash. Miku forbid that one of these important files gets deleted. It would be a terrible, terrible shame.

And I'm back to ramble about another episode of Madlax! EP15!

So, this was another confusing one for the board, mostly in terms of "what the frog is the relationship between the world where Madlax is and the one in which Laetitia is?" because my first thoughts were like "parallel dimension sort of thing" and now I'm starting to think that sure, it's some sort of parallel thing, but it might also me a moment in time that was frozen, that was unresolved and has stopped moving. Like, this maybe was what happened 12 years ago and some people got stuck in that point in time for whatever reason, and others moved on (I am curious about that whole 'distortion' thing that never got brought up again?). This series plays a lot with the concepts of truth, reality, normalcy, and memory so uuuh it's kind of interesting and also hard to piece things together? Laetitia mentions that Madlax's war/war zone is a false one and that might allude to the fact(?) that it is a fabricated war zone - by Enfant no less, they basically control every part of it except for the actual fighting, that's where other people are dying - or that is it not the war zone that Laetitia herself exists in. (Also, what connection does Laetitia have with Margaret! Because Margaret is not even close to the war but she smells like Gazth-Sonika and for some reason is heavily tied into everything because of her past - probably - but she doesn't have any urges to go to Gazth-Sonika or find her parents or whatnot, she's just hanging out!)

There's also the thing that I feel like the dog tags Madlax owns and says that these are her father's - I feel like there is the possibilty that it might have been Margaret's father instead; I also feel that Madlax's memories maybe got mixed up, after all she also lost her memories and the only thing she remembers was the word "Madlax" so hrrrrm. There are so many possibilities!

Yes, I know, she’s meant to be used in Spanish, but lots of English Vocaloids (Oliver, Sonika, even V1s like Miriam) have either Japanese original songs or song covers. Heck, some people manage to get Japanese Vocaloids with no English voicebanks to sing in English. Honestly, Maika’s design is very cute, so one would think she’d be popular in Japan, but… I haven’t seen anything. No originals, no covers, nothing.

I also like to make music, though I struggle with it (lyrics especially), but I feel I'm doing really well with music production, which is the job field I want to be in. Despite having Vocaloid 5 since Christmas 2018, it took me until seeing Circus-P's video on Vocaloid 6 back when I first got V6 in Christmas 2022 to even know what parameters were, and my world changed forever. I made a cover of Bug in January, moved it to a new channel since I wanted it to be under an actual email in March, and have been working on covers of songs I like since March/April.

I use both Vocaloid and Synthesizer V. My favorite vocal synth is Meiko. Since a lot of the music I listened to until now has been rock, I kinda got used to the crunch a lot of rock vocalists have, and I like to have something similar when I tune the synths, so I end up using the Growl parameter a lot. I wish SynthV had a growl parameter...

I have a few that would fit this but I'd probably choose Ryal. My girl has impeccable taste and she'd have me dressed for an event.

Probably Zuri. She's a great driver (and motorcycle rider) and she'd have me there with great timing lol

If it's coffee then Ryal. Ryal loves coffee...a lot lol. She'd get me to try new stuff and maybe get me to cut back on my sugar usage in coffee. If it's tea then Zion. After everything that happens in Fodlan, Zion finally gets a chance to have a garden. She grows all kinds of things good for tisanes and teas. She's definitely my tea girl and she'd have me right.

🎺 Go to a concert with?

Zuri or Zuriya would be the most fun. Both love to dance and sing and it would be a fun time with either of them.

Hmmmm probably Sonika. Working with her would make the day go by faster.
