Vocal Android AU Masterlist
OK, I’m doing this.
So that people who are on mobile can access stuff easier and I can keep track of things, I’m gonna make a masterlist of important AU stuff that I’ve made so far. (walks back in) (gets flashbanged by the new code) /vvvvpos HIIII I was sharing this blog with some friend (bc im crazy about it) AND! I wanted to ask about like if this was a hypothetical show, would there be crossovers and if so, are there any dream crossover episodes you could imagine happening?

that's a really interesting question?? if Vocal Android was a real cartoon, what would I cross it over with...hmmm...
I can't imagine it would have that many crossovers (I think VA in itself is a bit of a massive crossover in terms of vsynth stuff in general lol, I try to borrow from everywhere I can from non-VOCALOID program charas to related media like Proseka) but if we're talking crossovers with completely different franchises??
...I kinda would love a crossover with Sonic the Hedgehog ;v; partly because admittedly Sonic is my other Big Fandom Hyperfixation over the years and also because I actually can imagine some sort of a plot for it lolol

hey! same anon as the q about weaknesses you received before bc i really like your universe LOL. so, how do the kagamines interact with/see each other?
thank you ;v; and uhhh I'm not quite sure how you mean? (at least in the idea that I've talked a lot about the Kagamines and their relationship on this blog) but if you'd like something more in-depth...
Rin and Len see each other as akin to siblings in my verse! They're very close and usually do stuff together, and consider each other each other's best friend and greatest rival :> they bicker and banter with each other a lot but it's rarely serious
Rin is very much an annoying older sister XD She likes heckling Len, bossing him around and dragging him along on her wild stunts, but it's really just her teasing - she loves Len very much and is probably his biggest fan. She hates it when he self-deprecates because she knows how good of a person he really is and tries to support him as best she can in her own way, and she's always there to uplift him when he needs help. She's also usually the one gently pushing Len to step outside his comfort zone and become more confident in himself. She's actually very scared of losing him in a serious way.
Len, meanwhile, tends to bicker back with Rin and rolls his eyes at her when she's doing something crazy, but he cares for her very deeply and is even a bit of a pushover when it comes to her (something he really isn't for anyone else). He's always looking after her and is usually acting as her "conscience" in a sense XD he gets frustrated with her attitude sometimes but he's very in-tune with Rin and how she feels and regardless of how much she bugs him he's always there for her as soon as she needs him. He's very protective of her and even if he has trouble admitting it to her face he looks up to her quite a lot :>
Also, naturally, they pair up a lot when it comes to their heroics, since Rin is very much a "punch first, ask questions later" kind of girl and while Len is more skittish with combat he's very good at planning and is usually the one coming up with strategies for their fights. They've had many an argument about their approaches with crimefighting but when they actually put their strengths together they're hard to beat :>

it's funny that va!miku and len are actually quite similar when you think about it
they're both hyper-perfectionists that are often at the mercy of their own insecurities and fear of failure but are also genuinely sweet people to the point of almost being too nice (especially Miku)
I think the contrast is that 1) Len is way more honest showing his feelings than Miku is. like Miku is the type to suck it up and stuff it down if stuff bothers her (bad idea) but Len is pretty frank when something irritates him or he thinks he's being mistreated. Len can be surprisingly high-strung/easy to annoy but he's also quick to forgive and move on
Miku on the other hand really dislikes showing real anger or sadness to people so she'll find a way to force a smile unless she's Legitimately Pissed™ upon which she'll be unable to hide it and lash out (not a good thing)
2) they tend to have different ways of dealing with expectations...mostly because Miku is very aware that as the local idol and the town hero she has a very strict image to uphold and its a lot of weight on her shoulders; thus she's constantly in a struggle to live up to the ideal girl everyone thinks of her as (even though of course. the real Miku is a clumsy dork with a zany streak, a hidden temper and Crippling Anxiety)
whereas Len is kind of the opposite and is used to people not having expectations for him. or at least not in the way he wants (people fawning over him for his appearance/his "cuteness" rather than because they think he's any kind of good singer) so he strives hard to prove those expectations wrong by working hard on improving himself and his skills to nigh-self-destructive levels
idk where I'm going with this but just thinks about Len and Miku and how they're similar but also different in a different way than how Len is with Rin

#text#i'm trying really hard to actually work on the worldbuilding and such and figure out the true 'villain'#i know technically vocal android can never really become a 'story'...not really...#but i kinda want to make it more focused toward something. you know what i mean. try to give the characters a real enemy#that complements the themes#i DID have a villain in mind before but now i don't know if it'll work out...so i'm trying to figure out something else#it's really difficult...#i wish i knew someone actually good at writing to tell me if i'm just barking up the wrong tree at this point#am i taking this too seriously??#idk. but heads up for future content and such i suppose
