if you are 1) currently in a university where your student healthcare covers hormone therapy, and 2) in a good financial, emotional, and social position to start hormone therapy, i would recommend pursuing it. because in my experience, it's a huge pain in the ass to get an endocrinologist once you're on your own
#unless you live near a planned parenthood or another equivalent to that#but in general you might as well take advantage of the mandatory student health insurance while you have it#it's also cheaper than you might expect. my vials cost $40 CAD for 4 months and then the injection materials are like a couple dollars each#for me i got a therapist with the university and asked them to recommend me to one of the uni's doctors#so i got to skip some of the waitlisting process yay#and then even after getting access to hormones i went to the clinic maybe 5 or 6 times because i needed a nurse to help me with injections#all of which was 'free' because it was with the university#now that i'm graduated though i need to find a new endocrinologist and it turns out the process is WAY more complicated on your own 🤡#of course your mileage may vary depending on how based your school is but it's definitely worth checking imo 🤷#beepbeep.txt#wanted to say this because i basically didn't use the uni health services until my last year and i was like 'wow#'i'm actually getting so much shit for free right now'#like i was seeing a therapist and a dietician and the endocrinologist and a nurse simultaneously at one point#and i might've missed out on all that if i didn't have someone tell me how easy it was to get help if you ask the right questions#so there's my word of wisdom for anyone who might benefit from it.......#also going to post tips about injections later because i think that would also help people out 👍

Kaveh | Lily In Your Heart
ıllı Synopsis: Against his overwhelming guilt, how willing is Kaveh to take in your affection? Push. Pull. Such is the relationship between you two, yet you remained patient. You hoped that one day, he will finally open his heart again.
ıllı Genre: Angst, Comfort, Romance
ıllı Notes: Gender Neutral Reader
ıllı Warnings: Spoilers for Kaveh’s Character Story and Khvarena of Good and Evil World Quest, Mention of blood, Cursing
ıllı A/N: This story has been plaguing my mind since I read Kaveh’s character story. I knew I just had to write something about. I’m really happy with how it turned out. (P.S: I love this man so much!)
Tumblr media
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have— It should have been me! It’s all my fault! If only I didn’t wish for anything.” He cried, reaching his hand to the forgotten past. Tears streamed down his cheeks as his eyes searched around for hope, but there was nothing.
I stood behind his quivering visage, the words dying on my lips. It was not because I did not know what to say, but the fact that whatever I utter would never reach his ears. From experience, I already knew this was a dream, a memory I garnered from that man.
“Time stops for no one. Not even for him. Hopes and dreams twinkle in every being, but his has started to dim. Reality will catch up to him, one way or another. He cannot turn a blind eye to it for so long.” A gentle voice remarked. I turned to the small figure hovering beside me and greeted her with a nod.
We watched until the memory faded away like sands blown by the wind. It was an indicator of the dream ending. My companion flew in front of me and wiped the tears that had unknowingly trickled down my cheeks.
“Your heart is too pure, (Y/N). I hope you would not lose sight of what is important.” She muttered. I could only offer a small smile to which she returned with an exasperated sigh.
Tumblr media
As customary, Sumeru City (known as the Central Hub of Knowledge and Wisdom) was bustling with activity. Students from the Akademiya rushed out to get their businesses and research outside done while others chatted with their friends about topics that were discussed by distinguished professors of the institution. Merchants, on the other hand, hollered the prices of their goods, enticing the common people with the benefits their products bring. There were also children and travelers littering the street of the city. What a mundane scene it was.
Currently, you were trudging up the path to the Sanctuary of Surasthana to report to the Dendro Archon. Lesser Lord Kusanali personally requested your assistance with an issue in the Vourukasha Oasis. According to her, the Traveler had come in contact with the Order of Skeptics (Nagarjunites) and the Pari who required their cooperation with regard to the Sign of Apaosha, which was the sealing in the hole in the sky. The beautiful shade of purple and green in the sky might look captivating to adventurers and travelers, but it held a foreboding essence that kept anyone near it on their toes. In fact, for those who were aware, the Harvisptokhm (the tree emitting the green light) prevented the abyssal power from crashing down on the desert of Sumeru.
“I can’t believe Zurvan and Fedhri kept these from me. I would have aided them should they— I swear, they’re treating me like a child too much.” You rasped. A frown marred your face at the thought of their actions. Before you could ponder more, you reached the sanctuary. It exuded an ethereal aura that you could not help but stand in awe.
Tumblr media
Entering in caution, you spotted the person you were looking for. Nahida turned around after hearing the door open and greeted you with a smile. Her companion courteously nodded his head to which you returned with a bow. Taking out the report, you informed her of the current status of the area. Similar to what you gained from the Traveler, the seal at the Tunigi Hollow was indeed weakening. It was only a matter of time before it collapsed. You were unsure how many Pari were left in the oasis due to the inability to visit them, but they might have decreased in number considering the number of plumes of light scattered in Gavireh Lajavard alone.
“Singly from your assessment, the situation must be dire. I’d advise waiting out a report from the Traveler before joining them on their journey. A part of you must be concerned as to why the Pari kept this from you, right?”Nahida started. You looked down in contempt, unable to deny her words. It hurt that they hid it from you, but there must be a reason behind it. As much as you wished to join the Traveler immediately, it would be better if they continue with their progress first to get a better hold of the affair at hand.
“All right. You may dispatch me when you deem it safe for me to go. And don’t worry. I also feel like it’s my duty to see this through.” You grinned at the archon. Nahida returned the gesture before pivoting to her companion, whom you remembered as Wanderer, to give out orders. He did not bat an eye at your stature, but you knew he was aware of your presence. And maybe more.
Stepping out of the sanctuary, you were met with the cool breeze sweeping through your hair. It slowly calmed your nerves, allowing you to take in the sight of the vast rainforest ahead. Somehow, it reminded you of the first time you came into Teyvat. The slightly cold yet inviting waters of the Amrita streamed down your immaculate skin as your lunar eyes skimmed through the vibrant flora that surrounded your visage. The Pari were the first beings who greeted you, and they were the ones who introduced everything Teyvat had to offer. Albeit, it was not the best time years ago, they still did their utmost best.
“Got another mission from the Lesser Lord?” A baritone voice asked, cutting through your thoughts. You glanced to the side and saw Alhaitham walking up while reading his physics book. You were definitely sure he read that particular book several times already.
“Yep! But I have to wait for a couple more days for the Traveler to report back to Nahi— I mean Lesser Lord Kusanali.” You coughed. He shook his head at your cover-up. It was no secret that you have a unique relationship with the Dendro Archon. However, you did not fancy the misconception others might procure should you call her so familiarly, so you opted to call the young goddess by her title.
Alhaitham settled beside you and hummed in acknowledgment. The mission did not involve him, so there was no need for a fuss. The Lesser Lord trusted your capabilities enough to request your support. Small talks were added here and there until you asked him a peculiar question.
“How is Kaveh these days?” The Acting Grand Sage was caught off-guard. He presumed you would implore if Kaveh was available for dinner, walk, or another activity to drag the man into. A chuckle escaped your lips at his stupefied face, already guessing what was running through his head.
“Hmph. Can’t say much, but he’s been the same as usual. Loud and obnoxious. Last time, he even nagged about the dusty books in the living room while I had guests around. The audacity of that guy.” He huffed indignantly, quite agitated by his roommate.
There it was, Alhaitham’s infamous sharp tongue. It always amused you how they could tell each other’s flaws and strengths out loud without mercy (much so with the gray-haired male). One saw a reality he could not perceive for himself, while the other the guilt he had been running away from. Through constant understanding of each other, they forged a path only they could tread.
“Of course, you’ll say that. However, I’m glad that I can finally see diverse emotions on your face now. It seems like Kaveh is a good influence on you. Maybe not the gullible part, but you get what I mean.” You teased. Alhaitham gave you a deadpan look, shaking his head at your antics.
“And how about you? Aren’t you going to invite Kaveh somewhere? You’ve always been on his tail for as long as I recall.” He voiced. You smiled wryly and told him that your current mission needed to be prioritized. It still bothered you why the elder Pari kept the issue in the oasis from you. Alhaitham might not know the whole story about your past, but he understood that the situation may be appalling for you to be making such faces. However, he also had no intention to meddle in supernatural beings’ problems. It would be better to leave it in your hands, knowing that in no time, it would be resolved.
After chatting for a little bit more, you bid him farewell and went to the Grand Bazaar. Nilou was, once again, performing a spectacular dance up on the stage. Her fans kept growing every single day since art was unbanned from the Akademiya. It elated you to see the theatre flourish and have more people appreciate art.
Tumblr media
“Hmm? Is that Faruzan?” You mumbled, tilting your head in confusion as to why the Haravatat scholar was in the area.
Walking towards her, you noticed unique books and scrolls being sold by an old man casually sipping tea. They all appeared ancient and valuable, so you decided to check around as well. Faruzan, who was finally out of her stupor, greeted you with vigor. She informed you that the items being sold were famous a hundred years ago, during her time. It piqued your interest, and as you scanned the booth, you found two blueprints from the desert. Kaveh would love it, you thought.
“Is that for Kaveh?” Faruzan asked.
“Why is he the first thing you’d ask? It could be for myself.” You defended. She gave you a blank stare and reasoned out that there was no way you would study complicated prints like that. Rather, you would choose research on elements or pastime novels to scrutinize.
Sighing, you conceded and admitted that it was indeed for the Kshahrewar graduate. She grinned and then paid for her stuff before asking you to join her window shop and eat dinner. Although you would prefer to spend the rest of the day alone, it would help clear your head of worries by frolicking with the cyan-haired scholar around.
“Let’s go! I’ve got a lot to talk about. Let’s start with my latest one. Do you remember Tamimi? So, the Traveler and I went to the desert to….” You let her trail, happy to listen to her rambles.
Tumblr media
Kaveh never anticipated his life to end up like this. The memories of his father passing and his mother remarrying in Fontaine (leaving the blond alone) still hunted him to this day. He thought that with compassion and hard work, he would be happy once more, but chasing after a fantasy he called dreams brought him despondency and frustration.
Soon, Kaveh found himself in debt after finishing his magnum opus, the Palace of Alcazarzaray. It became the talk of the town, but hearsays neglected the story behind it. The Light of Ksharehwar (a title that did not sway him) had to pour out his whole savings after an unfortunate event, including his old home (if he could even call a building whose warmth has long extinguished home that is). It cost him arms and legs to finish the project, but he was a martyr who offered his entire fortune to the altar of ideals.
When the Kshahrewar graduate lost his home, he entered a period of melancholy. He was directionless, empty even. Lambad's Tavern became his temporary home. Searching for inspiration became his excuse whenever his acquaintances found him sitting at a lone table by the tavern. When discussing life matters, you and Alhaitham were the hot topic of their talks. He remembered the Scribe due to their joint research years ago, but he did not recognize you. His associates only had a few things to say about you, but they were always about your peculiar aura, behavior, and understanding of the world. That fact flew over his head as the alcohol distorted his thoughts.
Coincidentally, Kaveh met you and Alhaitham in the tavern days later. The latter hoped to have a well-deserved dinner and alcohol. Both of you could tell that he was in a bad situation, and that faithful night, Kaveh poured out his woes. Alhaitham listened intently to his words. On the other hand, you attempted to converse with the blond, who already seemed drunk from a few cups of rose wine.
"Then, how has realizing your ideals gone for you?" The Scribe asked. Kaveh was silent. He did not know what reality to accept anymore. What he yearned for was a fantasy, but in your eyes, it was stupid altruism that only hurt him. Still, he firmly believed in his ideals, even at the cost of losing himself. It was out of instinct, but you found yourself reaching out a hand to sweep away the tears that slid down his cheeks. His will drew you to the man. Alhaitham noticed the strange gesture and turned to you in confusion, but he found you floored and shedding tears.
"Hey, are you all right?" He asked, concerned about your well-being.
"His... His memories hit me hard. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have touched him so carelessly." You groaned, feeling dizzy at the barrage of memories. As for the blond, he was already passed out on the table, unaware of the predicament he caused. Taking out the handkerchief, you wiped away the dampness in your cheeks. At that moment, the seed of affection had already grown in your heart.
The following day, Alhaitham offered his home to the blond. It was your suggestion, and he found himself agreeing. Most likely because he saw in Kaveh a mirror of himself, projecting what he both possessed and lacked. He had a part of the Scribe that he once imagined, one of the truths he had been searching for. The way he expressed his emotion so openly, his strange intellect and perseverance, as well as his humility amidst illusory altruism drew him in. But in no way would he let Kaveh know any of that lest he inflated his nonexistent ego.
Kaveh continued to live as he was before, but now, with a house to come back to. He would now connect with his friends with an ecstatic aura around him. However, there was one enigma that he could not fathom, more like he could not accept because of trepidation. It was you.
Kaveh believed he should not fall in love because how could he when he only hurt those people around him? Even when he drank and shared moments with Alhaitham, Cyno, and Tighnari, he kept a part of him at arm's length from them. But you? You kept on reaching out to him. Inviting him to stroll around the Avidya Forest, asking him out for dinner in Lambad's Tavern, and enticing him with rare blueprints from the desert that he had not seen before. He realized your intentions, and if he was to be honest, he also learned to like you. Your radiant aura charmed him, but it felt wrong for him.
He surmised it to be the guilt that never left his side.
Tumblr media
"Hey, Kaveh! Your head is in the clouds again. The food's getting cold! Eat up." Tighnari nagged. Kaveh blinked owlishly before sheepishly grabbing one panipuri and dipping it in the sauce. He took his wine and watched Alhaitham and Cyno play. The match was heating up, and none of them seemed ready to give up any time soon.
"So, I heard that (Y/N) fancies you? What do you say about that?" The Forest Watcher teased. The blond choked on his wine and reddened, spouting that he could never accept your affection. Tighnari raised an eyebrow at that.
"And why is that?" He pushed.
"It's better if they choose another person than me. I admit that (Y/N) is an outstanding person, but they're too much for me. I... Sometimes, it feels like they know me too much. It's unsettling, but maybe it's just me. I don't want to lead them on." He confessed, keeping the truth to himself. It was better for him to take that secret to the grave.
Alhaitham, with half of his mind in the game, furrowed his eyebrows at his roommate's words. He wanted to voice out his opinions, but your secrets were yours to tell. As for Tighnari, he was about to argue against it when his eyes zeroed in on your stunned figure. His eyes widened in realization. Surely, you heard Kaveh considering you were just a few tables away. Kaveh was confused by his expression until he turned around. There you were, fiddling with your fingers while sporting a pained smile.
Faruzan glanced at you in worry, but you meekly laughed and walked towards their table. Alhaitham was about to greet you when you shook your head and set down the blueprints you found in the bazaar.
"It must have been disturbing. I'm sorry about that. Please take this as my last gift. I'll stay out of your sight for your sake." You murmured. Kaveh flinched and stammered an answer. Under normal circumstances, this would have made you laugh, but your lips quivered from the ache your heart endured. If you say anything else, you were afraid you would break down eventually. Without hesitation, you bowed down and left the tavern.
The Haravatat female whipped her head back to the younger male and glared at him. She gritted her teeth in anger, ready to speak her mind, but she chose to rush out of the building and catch up to you. Kaveh winced at his mistake and abruptly stood from his chair to see if he could apologize, but there was no sign of you outside. Only the buzz of the insects and the murmur of people in the tavern surrounded him.
'You idiot! How could you be so... Ugh!'
Kaveh went back inside solemnly, unable to erase the disheartened look on your face. His heart was heavy with guilt, another misfortune to add to his increasing list. Tighnari noticed the forlorn gleam in his eyes and discerned that his friend failed to apologize and explain himself. Suddenly, a loud sigh could be heard from beside them. Alhaitham precipitously stood up and glowered at him.
“I’m opposed to taking sides in arguments, but how could you let your mouth run like that? And unsettling, you say? You know none of what they’ve been through, fool. Ugh, you irritate me. Don’t even bother coming home.” He spat, leaving the tavern bitterly. It was the first time the Kshahrewar graduate saw his roommate mad. Their usual banter could not even compare to the intensity the Acting Grand Sage exuded.
Cyno turned to Kaveh and consoled him that he could stay in his home in Gandharve Ville for tonight. It was best to reflect on his words before confronting you and Alhaitham about it. Stunned, he could only nod. Tighnari, who was confused by the ordeal, inferred that there was more to you than meets the eye. Based on Alhaitham's claims, he clearly knew something they did not.
“I… I’ll go look for them tomorrow and ask for their forgiveness. They did not deserve that and… Alhaitham's right. How could I call them creepy? I’m so stupid.” He ruefully laughed. The two eyed each other in worry.
The following day, Kaveh roamed the city in search of you. His first stop was the Akademiya. His stomach squeezed in discomfort at the sight of the institution looming over his figure. Memories of his academic days resurfaced, and it was anything but happy. With a heavy sigh, he entered the place and asked the students present in the hall.
"Hi, I hope it's not a bother to ask, but do you know (Y/N)? Is it possible if you could tell me where they are right now?" He adjured.
"(Y/N)? Umm... Oh, is it that creepy senior?" One of the students piped. Kaveh furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and perturbation. Another student recognized the name and confirmed that it was indeed the same person.
"What do you mean?" Kaveh muttered. The young ones before him glanced at each other before recalling their experience with you. It was a year ago when one of them had the opportunity to work with you. As a graduate of your desired Darshan, you did not mind having a junior join you in your research and work outside the Akademiya. However, it was during your journey with them that they noticed your strange behavior which included weirdly knowing their likes and dislikes (they did not explicitly say anything), understanding their emotions, and reading them like an open book. Although there were times when they see you wear gloves or refuse to come into contact with others. You would use the excuse that you were dirty or sick when it did not look the part.
"I still can't believe I survived working under them. I still feel shivers down my spine for how eerie they were. Why are they even part of the Akademiya?" The younger male pointed. Kaveh had enough of his ill words and shook his head. He gave them a cold thanks and left, but not before leaving aggravated words to his juniors.
"You shouldn't bad-mouth your seniors like that just because they could read you like an open book. Your emotions show in your face, stupid."
To say they were flabbergasted by Kaveh's change in attitude was an understatement, but he was too irritated to care. The lack of disrespect did not sit well with him. You worked diligently and would always dedicate a portion of your time to assisting your juniors. How could they treat you as such just because you were not like the others?
"Maybe the professors will know." He mumbled, but even the instructors in the Akademiya shrugged their shoulders, oblivious to your whereabouts. So, he decided to check the Grand Bazaar for any sightings only to come up empty-handed. It was when he noticed a familiar item being sold by an old man casually eating candied nuts.
"Ho? Why hello there, young man. Are you interested in these? Aya, you remind me of the youngster who brought the pricey ones yesterday. They were with a friend who teased them about it. Something about gifting it to the person they fancied? Hohoho, how youthful." He cheered. Kaveh pieced his words together and realized that it was you he was talking about. In his mind, he questioned why you were willing to go to lengths just to receive his affection. It did not make sense to him, and his curiosity pushed him to seek you.
"I'm... taking this one, please. And they sound like a wonderful person." He responded. The old man guffawed once more.
"They are, indeed. What a blessing for me to see a young spirit like them. Hohoho!" He murmured, a flicker of nostalgia present in his sunken eyes. Kaveh caught his words and was about to ask if he could expound on it, but the old man was gone as well as the things he sold. It was like he did not exist in the first place.
'What the....' He was sure he slept well and did not take any strange medications from Tighnari. Was it the stress?
No one from the bazaar seemed to notice what happened, so he merely shook his head and slowly backed away from the place. He carried on with his search for you. However, it was as if you disappeared that night without anyone's knowledge.
Three days later, he sought and asked Faruzan for your whereabouts despite her displeasure with him. She let out an exasperated sigh and meekly answered that she did not catch up to you. When she visited your home, you were not there. Fear crept up in his heart. He did not know where to look for you anymore, then he recalled another person he could consult.
Three knocks on the door, and a 'Come in' echoed from the other side.
"Tch. Now, what brings you here?" Alhaitham sneered. Kaveh winced internally at his temper.
"(Y/N), please tell me where they are." He begged. The Acting Grand Sage placed the quill down and bore his eyes in his own. The architect could feel himself crumble under his intense gaze but remained firm. An apology was in order, and there was no excuse not to do so.
"Why? So that you could hurt them again as those bastards did? So that their heart will be torn once again? Tell me, Kaveh, why should I tell you where they are?" He challenged. Kaveh bit his lower lip in frustration. He disliked Alhaitham's protective nature over you, but he understood where he was coming from. The only question in his mind was what the Acting Grand Sage meant by hurting you again. What happened years ago? For now, he should justify himself in front of the man.
"I... have no excuse. I indeed found how they know me so well disturbing. I don't know how or why, but I want to find out. I also want to apologize. No matter what, they did not deserve that. I feel so guilty, Alhaitham. Please understand that there are a lot of things I'm scared to face. I—" He stopped. Clenching his fist tightly nicked his skin, and blood stained his palm. A loud sigh was heard from the man in front of him.
"Vourukasha Oasis. They briefly mentioned it after begging the Dendro Archon to send them to the desert earlier than planned. Now get out of my office. You've wasted enough of my time." Alhaitham glared. Kaveh, although with difficulty, expressed his gratitude and left immediately.
'Did I do the right thing?' Alhaitham thought to himself. He picked up his quill and resumed his work. It would be up to you whether you would talk to Kaveh or not anyway.
The architect, eager to see you, asked Mehrak for the quickest route to the oasis. His eyes bulged at the distance. He would have to cross the Desert of Hadramaveth and pass Gavireh Lajavard before reaching the Realm of Farakhkert. It was a mystery to him how you reached the oasis in such a small amount of time.
"All right. There's no time to lose!" He muttered, encouraging himself.
The Desert of Hadramaveth seemed clearer to tread now unlike before. He recalled the sandstorm in the region to be harsh and dangerous. Mehrak beeped and warned him that there were Eremites ahead of them. He prepared his weapon and battled his way through. It took him a day and a half just to reach the Sands of Three Canals.
"Mehrak, map please." Kaveh requested, huffing in exhaustion from the long walk they did. Mehrak chimed and projected the map of Sumeru. His eyes squinted at the sight of the Tunigi Hollow and recalled the rumors of a lost Darshan present in the area. From what he remembered, they were called the Order of Skeptics, and they split from the Akademiya due to an incident years ago. There were rumors of internal conflict within the Order, and he wondered what made several of their members side with the Abyss. Desires fueled by evil intent would only result in downfall.
After mapping his route, he resumed his journey. The sand was getting in his shoes, but he shrugged it off and glanced around for danger. It was until he reached the Temir Mountains did he notice the Traveler, Paimon, and another strange creature in the distance. Paimon creased her forehead at his figure and realized it was their architect friend.
"Oh! It's Kaveh. Hey, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"It's nice to see you again. I'm looking for someone. They're a scholar from the Akademiya who goes by the name (Y/N). Have you, in any possible case, encountered them?" Kaveh hoped. The three peered at each other, immediately recognizing your name.
"Why are you looking for (Y/N)? They are back in the oasis, helping out the Pari. By them, I mean this little one over here." Traveler responded, pointing at the scarlet avian-like creature beside them. Before Kaveh could say a thing, another Pari came rushing in. She seemed to be panicking, and by the time she reached them, she poured her worries about you fighting off a bunch of Fatui soldiers.
"(Y/N) is fighting a lot of bad people! It was so scary! I am not sure if they could handle it. Please, Sister Sorush, Yasnapati, Pale Floaty, you've got to save them!" She cried. Kaveh, alarmed by it, pleaded to the Pari to guide him instead. She tilted her head in confusion and demanded who he was.
"Kaveh, my name is Kaveh. I am their friend. Please let me help them." He sought. Sefana examined the architect and ascertained his sincerity. Unlike the humans she encountered, the man before her was earnest and willing to help. She meekly nodded and flew off. Kaveh followed suit, not bothering to listen to the Traveler.
Tumblr media
Kaveh arrived at the site only to see a deserted camp, empty of the claimed ferocious Fatui soldiers. Turning to the side, he found you wiping the dust out of your clothes. He blinked owlishly at the sight, confused by the whole ordeal.
"Now, let's go back and ask Zurvan what in Teyvat she was thinking of keeping these from me." You huffed out loud, extinguishing the Hvarna in your hand. But when you spun around, your eyes met that of his crimson ones. You flinched and asked what they were doing in such a dangerous place.
"Especially you, Sefana. Zurvan is going to scold Sorush and me should you stay here. Don't worry about me, I'll be back in a few." You assured the Pari. She rushed to you and hugged your head before heading back to the oasis.
Once she was gone, you gazed back to Kaveh. You sheepishly apologized that he caught sight of you again, so you walked away before he could utter anything. Suddenly, you felt a tight grip on your wrist. You were about to ask what was wrong when he stammered a response. A moment of silence reigned over you two before he found his voice.
"I'm truly sorry about what I said. I... I was just confused and scared because how do you know so much about me? How do you know what to say? I already lost a lot in my life, (Y/N). If it's not evident enough, I'm as miserable as there is. I feel so guilty receiving your affection, so please, just hate me." He begged. You were stunned until you could not hold the amusement in your lips. He was confused by your outburst before you utilized the power of Hvarna and projected your ability.
"I could never despise you, Kaveh. Not in a million or thousand years." You replied, mirth dancing in your eyes.
Bubbles of memories appeared before him. He saw his own and was astonished by the sight. You floated by his side and pointed at one of the memories that made you fall in love with him. It was the time he poured out blood and tears to finish the Palace of Alcazarzaray even when Dori sneered at him for wasting her time and Mora.
"What are you, (Y/N)?" He genuinely asked.
"Hmm, are you sure you can handle what I am, Light of Kshahrewar?" You teased, a lilt echoing in your words. He nodded, eager to understand you.
With a satisfied sigh, you dispersed the bubble of memories and presented your own recollection, mostly those that you remember. Time was cruel. It eroded a number of your beautiful memories.
"I am a Lunar Spirit born from the Amrita, it's the pure water present in the Vourushka Oasis. I grew alongside the Pari, guardians of the oasis meant to protect Sumeru from the Abyss. We have a duty to purify those affected by abyssal corrosion. However, centuries ago, I asked the elder Pari to let me roam Teyvat and learn about the world. I settled in Sumeru for some time. Several people knew my identity such as the Lesser Lord Kusanali, Alhaitham, Wanderer, Traveler, Paimon, and now, you. To answer why I knew so much of you is because of my power as an empath." You explained. Because of your origin, your ability as an empath was amplified. It allowed you to see several memories when you touch people. Kaveh's eyes widened. Now, he discerned the reason for your actions.
"At first, it was just to help you get over your guilt, but eventually, I fell in love with you. I wanted you to know that you also deserve love and happiness and that there is no need for pain to lighten the guilt. I am sure that your family also wishes for you to be happy, Kaveh. What happened in the past was not your fault. Fate... can be fickle, that's all I can say. Your journey as of now may not have been the smoothest, and you remained firm with your ideals. That's the beauty of living. So, I hope that... with my help, you'll open your heart again. Allow yourself to truly feel." You sullenly voiced. Kaveh stared at your form and then at the oasis not far from them. It was strange to have someone figure out the truth he had been running away from. Maybe it was time for him to give his happiness a chance. It might take him a long time, but he would like to take the risk.
Gaining a bit of courage, he turned to you and inquired.
"Will it be all right if I tread this path with you by my side?" This time, it was your turn to flush red at his confession.
"Are you all right having a strange significant other like me?" Anxiety laced your tone. Kaveh reached for your hand and intertwined it with his.
"I couldn't have asked for more."
Tumblr media
BONUS:
After your sincere apologies and heartfelt confession, you two returned to the oasis and met up with Zurvan. You demanded an explanation from the elder Pari why they hid it from you, and she explained that your duty was to purify the Amrita pool and energize the Harvisptokhm once it had been healed. She thought that it was not yet the time to do it until Sorush came rushing back with the need to purge the problem.
Moments later, Traveler, Paimon, and Sorush arrived, the latter having a deadpan look on her face. They were right that Sefana failed to assess the situation properly and quickly ran to them for help. Mere Fatui soldiers would not be enough to bring you down.
"Speaking of them. Hey, Traveler, Paimon, Sorush! Over here! I see you've attacked the source of the problem. Thank you!" You cheered. Paimon floated to you and asked if they have to do more.
"Don't worry. Leave the last part to me. You can stand there with Kaveh and the others." You directed.
After walking a few feet from them, you concentrated the Hvarna in your chest. A power, unknown to those watching, accumulated until it burst and went underground. The flora around them became vibrant. Kaveh witnessed a spectacular sight, but one scene that would forever be etched in his mind was your divine look under the mystical glow of the oasis.
Tumblr media
Zurvan recognized the look in Kaveh's crimson eyes and asked if he could truly love somebody like you. He was caught off guard by the elder Pari, but he took a deep breath and firmly stated that he would cherish you. The guilt harboring in his heart had been released, and you were the reason for it. It was time he let go of that and choose his happiness this time.
"How bold, human. However, I shall permit. Take care of our Little Lily. They deserve every ounce of love there is to offer." She said.
"That they do." Kaveh agreed, watching the scene before him with contentment.
"Kaveh! Come here! We can bring this home according to Sefana." You gleefully claimed, taking in two Sunyata flower stalks in your arms.
'Home, huh? It's been such a long time since I heard that word earnestly, but with you in it? Yes, I would love to call wherever you are my home.' He thought before joining you, his happiness.

Dendro Vision Theory
Okay so I saw someone who originally made a post a while ago (I can’t find the post or their blog so they might have deleted?) about how Dendro visions seem to be linked to someone’s ambition being related to stepping into a role that needed to be filled regardless of their limitations which they originally posted when Tighnari and Collei was released
I wanted to expand upon it with my own speculation especially now that we have even more Dendro characters at our disposal!
In context for Tighnari and Collei, it was Tighnari stepping up into a necessary role to correct misinformation despite the hesitance he initially felt about stepping out against a researcher but once he did it fulfilled a needed role that ended up kickstarting civil and engaging academic discussions between all of the scholars in the lecture hall etc.
And then Collei stepping into the role of a Forest Watcher, taking action to save a missing girl because she knew Tighnari wouldn’t be back in time and if weather conditions in the forest got worse the little girl could die despite her own physical limitations
With that stepping into a necessary role, potentially connecting to Nahida in the way that she was not allowed to step up into her proper role as an archon due to the view of her wisdom vs her allogenes getting their visions by stepping into a necessary role via trusting in their own wisdom and ambitions
Now that was the conclusion they originally came to when just Collei and Tighnari were out so I wanted to talk about that theory by seeing how it holds up now that we have more vision stories to read!!
Okay so, Alhaitham’s is e x t r e m e l y vague and is a bit hard to deduce but I think the beginning in which we are shown a portion of a book Alhaitham had been reading relates to one of the Akademiya’s six cardinal sins: “Investigating the origin of words.”
While some of these cardinal seems seem understandable such as the tampering of life and death being a sin, to think Etymology of all things would be a sin on the same level as interfering with the natural cycle of life and mortality, in a place flourishing with scholars of all kinds, is kind of odd when you think about it. The languages are very important as emphasized by the book he read in his vision story and the origin of language arguably is especially so given what it can tell people about the evolution of a place’s history and culture.
So if we were to focus on that aspect, on Alhaitham’s pursuit of that knowledge in regards to language, I think it can be argued he is, in his own way, stepping into a necessary role. Now, unlike with Collei and maybe Tighnari, he’s not actively doing it for anyone’s benefit which is completely fine. He is doing it in pursuit of what knowledge intrigues and interests him, and I think this is where we see the “trusting in his wisdom” aspect come into play as he goes after this knowledge and information despite the Akademiya’s rules regarding cardinal sins. It’s less a split second decision and going with his gut, and more the other traits that characterize wisdom according to the dictionary.
Wisdom is defined generally defined by three main factors whether all together or separately: Good Judgement , Experience, and Knowledge. These factors can all work together in different duos or a trio and they can work on their own and I think some of these aspects do such in Alhaitham’s vs Tighnari’s vs Collei’s. Collei’s characterized by good judgement, an understanding or insight not necessarily based on exact experience or knowledge but good sense. Tighnari’s coming from a place of experience in terms of the misinformation with his specialized field at the very least if not including the other factors too. And lastly Alhaitham’s, which again makes it hard to perfectly pinpoint given its vagueness, but his knowledge of how to pursuit this subject and confidence in such seems to allow him to do as much with ease. Very likely good sense and understanding of what he has to do to pursue it playing into this.
I want to go back to the whole “necessary role” thing. While it isn’t as obvious as Tighnari’s or especially Collei’s, I think Alhaitham’s decision to go after this information regardless of the Akademiya’s rules not for other’s sake still puts him into a similar role. The world of Teyvat needs to be questioned, despite the consequences for those who do it, in order to break away from its cycles of histories that just keep repeating. It needs people who don’t explicitly listen to the rules, who pursue certain knowledge out of genuine desire for that subject. While certain cardinal sins like the tampering of evolution or life and death stands to make sense, the questioning of Teyvat’s history even through the origin of languages, whether modern or ancient, is something necessary.
I know it probably sounds confusing and again, This!! Is my speculation and the conclusion I’ve come to because honestly, a lot of Alhaitham’s vision story really is super vague so it can be so hard to read between the lines and discern what we’re meant to grasp from it. So if you disagree with my interpretation, I 100% understand 😭 I didn’t explain it the best like I wish I could have and we’re working with some pretty open to interpretation stuff here.
I’m very much
Struggling to try and grasp what Yao Yao could have done to gain her vision honestly as her vision story makes it really hard to understand what she did to get it. Something that is evident from it is that it likely wasn’t after some big huge event, wasn’t something that happened as a result of something overtly obvious to her. Something to note though is Yao Yao’s personality and her basic story in general as a disciple of Madame Ping.
Yao Yao is characterized by the fact that she is very generous and sincere and is used to taking care of those around her. Even jokingly referred to as like a “little adult” in things promoting her release and in game due to her sense of responsibility and desire to help others as the disciple of Madame Ping. In fact, such a thing is specifically mentioned in her vision story.
“As a disciple of her master, she would follow her example and protect the people.” Due to this and the theory of why certain people receive dendro visions, it leads me to believe that Yao Yao got her vision from one of the many, many instances of helping people in need. It was a necessary role she had to step into, she stepped into that role with trust in the wisdom she had gained from her master, Madame Ping, and given that it’s something she’s already so accustomed to, it would make sense why she didn’t initially notice or at the very least, can’t explicitly attribute gaining a vision to one event. Because it’s something she often does, a duty that she has accepted as a disciple of the adepti.
Or at least, that is my interpretation based upon what I have seen in game from her character and her character stories!
I wanna once again say, that I am building off of someone else’s theory originally with my own speculation even though I can’t find the original post now, but yeah! I hope this made even the slightest bit of sense because it feels like one huge tangent and I’m so sorry 😭

Cleric Astarion?
Tumblr media
Yes, I can hear him barking out that bitter laughter of his too at the very idea. But hear me out, he's on a new path in life so... maybe a deity gives him a chance after being silent for so long.
It would be only just a few levels and more if you like it. He's got a decent wisdom stat for it too. Second best right behind Shadowheart out of all of the companions. With a feat, one can bump up his wisdom and dexterity a little higher as well.
Tumblr media
As for gods Ilmater, Corellon Larethian, or Lathander would be excellent fits he might gain favor from if you want to really overthink it. But the god might not even matter, at least at lower levers as far as I can tell.
Here are also a list of items I've given him to use to be a bit of a tank and healer too:
Circlet of Hunting - You'll need to use it on enemies with a hunter's mark, true strike, faerie fire, and guiding bolt to gain a +1d4 bonus to Attack Rolls.
Hunting Shortbow - This will give you a hunter's mark ability but someone else can always mark the enemies with what's needed instead if you want to give him a better bow or crossbow. Holy Lance Helm - An alternative to the Circlet of Hunting. Creatures who miss their attack rolls against the wearer can take on possible radiant damage. Putting this on a high dex companion is a win because it ups the chances it will activate. The + 1 in Con saving throws for Astarion is nice too. Derivation Cloak - Works to help heal him when poisoning a foe. Broodmother's Revenge - To help activate the healing of the cloak. Gloves of Archery - An additional +2 in raged weapon attacks and proficiency on long as well as short bows.
Boots of Aid and Comfort - When he heals someone it gives him +3 in temporary hit points. The Whispering Promise - When healing he get's a +1d4 to attack rolls and saving throws for two turns. Just try to remember to cast say, healing word or mass healing word first to take full advantage of both turns. Sword of Life Stealing - On crit hit +10 Necro Damage on anything except a construct or undead. He also gains 10 temporary hit points. Who else crits the most?
Knife of the Undermountain King - Alternative weapon for constructs, undead or in general. If he rolls a 2 or less he can reroll the dice and take the highest result. If he rolls a 19 it's an automatic crit hit. Also, there is advantage on attack rolls on lightly or heavily obscured targets. You know, like in a crypt. I actually might have him use this from now on and give the life-stealing sword to someone else. Lastly, True Love's Caress - Gentle Warding Bond Activated and True Love's Embrace I put on my Tav who has the blessing of Loviatar. Once activated he's got resistance buffs on everything and with his high dex sta most blows won't land. (That and derpy romantic me like to think they're kinda like wedding or at least promise rings :p)
Adamtine Sale Mail and Shield - Because if the bond is activated if he takes damage so does the wearer of the other ring. There is a price to pay for all of those wonderful buffs. So whoever has the True Love's Embrace ring on needs to keep their distance in combat with ranged attacks and would benefit from a little extra damage. Again, like someone basking in Loviatar's Love. To save some typing here's a screenshot of the cleric spells I went with him.
Tumblr media
As for a god, I personally went with Lathander, given I always have him pick up the "giggle" pendant. I like to think out of anyone he could use some cheer and he does well with the wisdom saving throws to counteract the effects.
Tumblr media
Later on, we stole Lathander's Mace and I'm really looking forward to using it to beat Cazador into a bloody pulp. So it just feels right to offer a little bit of thanks and service to Lathander after all this.
Tumblr media
If you made it this far, thank you. Hope this was a helpful build guide and you give it a try sometime! ^_^

intro/ entry one
i want to open by saying 2023 absolutely sucked. i think, for everyone, it was a terrible year. but one good thing did happen to me. i'm here actually, for that reason. i'm living, and i'm writing this right now- because of it. because of him. i first started talking to him in august, the month before my birthday. we met online, and i curse the miles currently between us- but he is the best thing that has and will ever happen to me. he made probably the worst year of my life worth living. so many terrible things happened last year, that i will remember and that will shape me into the person i'll be. but the love of my life- my everything, will continue to shape me and to make me a better person. he has given me the wisdom and the words, the energy even, to be happy. but thats why i'm here. i have a lot to work through, and a lot to figure out. i can't feel one hundred percent okay until i get myself together, and figure out who i am when i'm happy, and who i want to be.
this year, i'm going to work on myself. i need routine and i need self love. i'm not a consistent person and i never finish things for myself, but i'm always more motivated to do things if i feel that other people could benefit from them. i've made a promise to myself that i'm going to get better, and i'm going to keep this blog as a journal, an anonymous diary if you will. maybe one day, someone will benefit from it. maybe not. and thats okay, it will be okay. i do hope that someone might be inspired, or perhaps encouraged to commit to the journey of finding themself. i'm going to try to post an entry every single day. i don't have a very busy life right now, so it only depends on my own motivation. i hope that soon, the only reason for missing a day would be because i am very busy taking care of myself. i'm going to give advice, and share things that have worked for me. i hope that this can be a positive thing and never a vent blog. i have made an agreement with myself to try to only write positively, to find ways to make things better through action and writing.
i have written down new year resolutions, and i hope that by the end of 2024 i can proudly cross them all off. i'm not in a good place right now, but i believe things are about to get better. i will not be sharing this blog with anyone unless i feel that they can benefit from it. so if you've found me on your own, i hope i can be of use to you. i don't expect to gain a following, and that does not bother me because maybe this will help me more than anyone out there. on january first of 2025 i want to look back and smile at all the progress i've made. i want to make that progress now, over the course of this year.
this entry was meant to be posted earlier, but it has taken me a while to find the words tonight. i will be posting a second entry later today, hopefully by the evening.

New Goth Household: Chapter 3, Part 2
Joey tries to get lucky at the romance festival despite not having any romantic feelings ever, and Alexander and James manage some alone time. Then Winterfest begins!
Tumblr media
We’re back and Joey is throwing ornaments at the tree with reckless abandon in an effort to… place the tree skirt?
James: What are you doing
Joey: Helping before I jet to the romance festival
James: I thought you were… sorry I’m trying to learn the right words. Aromantic?
Joey: Correct bro. But you know what the romance festival has? Dolled up chicks ready to meet me. Catch you on the flip
James: What do you think he means Gertrude? The flip of what? Honestly those bro sims
Gertrude: *meows in agreement*
Tumblr media
Joey arrives and the few sims who showed are not properly dressed. Better fix that. Don’t want another Jacob Volkov situation.
Joey: No girl is going to wear a skirt in this
Yumiko: Damn right
Joey: Oh hey, are you open
Yumiko: No, I just spawned here in a uniform for fun
Joey: How about helping a guy warm up
Yumiko: You’ll need a better line than that
Joey: I meant the ramen but if you’re offering something extra...
Tumblr media
Yumiko: That’ll be 12 simoleons
Joey: And with my smile
Yumiko: 12 simoleons
Joey: You drive a hard bargain but I like that in a woman
Yumiko: OMW it’s not my fault it’s a snowstorm and no other women appeared but you are done talking to me, okay?
So Joey takes his ramen and eats it alone. He does get a confidence boost from chopstick mastery though.
Tumblr media
Joey: You’re the guru right? Tell me, is there any point staying here? Will I find anyone
Guru: Matters of the heart are tricky to interpret
Joey: What about matters of the pixel parts
Guru: You do not care for romance?
Joey: Not at all. But like I want a kid someday so a partner of some kind might be okay, if she lets me woohoo her, and woohoo other women because have you seen the boobs in this save
Guru: I foresee you having to wait many moons to find a woman like that, but she will come along
Tumblr media
Joey doesn’t really know what to make of that “wisdom”. What do gurus even know? They’re coded to promote romance after all. Dude probably thought he could sway him but Joey is who he is.
*phone rings*
Joey: Well hey hot stuff, what’s up
Tuesday: I’m having an issue, can you swing by. I have a new place by the way
Joey: Text me the address and I’ll be there
Tuesday: You sure
Joey: What are friends with benefits for if not being at the mercy of each others whims
Tumblr media
Joey: You all right? You sounded tense on the phone
Tuesday: You know that guy I’ve been screwing
Joey: The redhead or the one who enjoys weightlifting
Tuesday: Not the redhead, he had the stamina of a goldfish
Joey: That’s not a saying
Tuesday: Point is, Mr weightlifting decides to give me the talk
Joey: Oh he did not
Tumblr media
Tuesday: Yet again it’s all “Oh Tuesday, I know you think you can’t feel love, but I feel love with you. Be my girlfriend, commit to me, and I’ll awaken the romance inside”
Joey: Damn alloromantic idiots
Tuesday: It’s such a shame because he was so good at woohoo, he always let me go first
Joey: You know who else is good at it? You
Tuesday: I am aren’t I
Joey: You are the queen of sighs, sexy glances and roving hands
Tuesday: Go on
Tumblr media
Joey: A woman as skilled as you will only be alone if she wants to be
Tuesday: What can I say, my study buddy keeps improving so I must strive to meet him
Joey: We starting down here then
Tuesday: Perk of the new house, no roomates. Scooch back
Joey: Hold on, I thought a gentleman always gets the lady off first
Tuesday: It’s good practice, but I’ve found you’re more creative if we do you first, and I want some creative tonight. So lean back, and close those pretty brown eyes
Tumblr media
Alexander: Bedtime now
Milton: Story first please
Alexander picks out a book and is reading away when Milton interrupts.
Milton: Will Father Winter really come tomorrow
Alexander: Tomorrow night, I promise
Milton: Do you think he can bring me mummy. I’ve been really good
Alexander: I’m sure you have but Milton… I don’t think Father Winter can deliver people
Milton sighs sadly and looks over at the photos of Bella that Dina was only too happy to let him have.
Alexander: Someday, somehow Milton, we’re going to figure out what happened
Tumblr media
A few more minutes of reading and Milton drifts off. James has been busy in the corner cuddling the cats within an inch of their nine lives.
Alexander: I can see you’re taking good care of the babies
James: Yes Hamlet, you’re my baby, aren’t you? Aren’t you?
Alexander: I’m so glad they make you smile, even if they are troublemakers
Tumblr media
James: Some of the best people are troublemakers. My favourite person is actually a homewrecker
Alexander: *laughs* Oh is he
James: Yep. I was married and he swept in and seduced me
Alexander: What a git
James: *laughs* I guess the bed is out for tonight but the shower still has plenty of space away from tiny ears
Alexander: Just don’t slip and hurt yourself sweets
The two head for the bathroom, lock the door, and have some precious alone time.
Tumblr media
In the bedroom Gertrude snores away but Hamlet is bored. The poor boy hasn’t been hugged in 10 whole minutes and breaks into an opera about the tragedy that is his life living in a mansion. Unsurprisingly this wakes Milton up, but to be fair he hates sleep time so probably would have woken up soon enough anyway.
Milton: Don’t cry Hamlet, I right here
Tumblr media
Milton picks a book out and begins to read to Hamlet who settles on the bed. When James and Alexander are both satisfied they make sure to get dressed before heading out of the bathroom, just in case.
Alexander: What are you doing up
Milton: Hamlet sad so I read story for cheer up
Alexander: That’s very kind of you but Hamlet is dramatic and it’s past your bedtime. Come on, time to sleep
Milton pushes himself up, deliberately going... as slow... as... he... can.
Tumblr media
Alexander tucks Milton in and then heads to bed. The next time Milton wakes up it’s not Hamlet’s fault, see, he’s got a scratching post alibi. Milton just needs to use the potty. Downstairs it seems that Gertrude has again decided to knock out the trash and play in it at a time when there’s no one to tell her off. Clever girl. When Milton returns he needs to shoo Hamlet off before he can get back in.
Tumblr media
Winterfest is upon us! Marta wakes up first, she’s used to being up early for her barista shifts. She takes some time to wish her family a merry Winterfest, and hopes they’re happy in the timeless save.
Keira: Have you ever slept in
Marta: Sorry carino, just feeling nostalgic
Keira: I’m sorry I never got to meet them
Marta: You’ll meet them one day, and I’ll see them again
Keira: I hope I’m good enough
Marta: Carino what am I always saying, do not talk yourself down. Now, come back to bed and I’ll show you how wonderful you are
Tumblr media
Keira: Aww, it’s not finished, Milton will be so sad
Marta: You have two hands do you not? We can finish it
Keira: I suppose all it needs is some ornaments and a topper
Marta: There, hardly any time at all
Keira: Should we light it
Marta: James was wanting to wait for the toddlers to all be here
Tumblr media
The first to make it their family Winterfest gathering is Joey who heads to Tartosa. After a quick family photo he spends some time catching up and exchanging gifts.
Tumblr media
Second stop for Winterfest is the Foster gathering in Sulani. Reece somehow cons Samir into wearing matching paired shirts and Clover gets lots of attention. Keira and Samir click over their mutual distrust of strangers and of course Carson and Reece poke fun at each other.
Tumblr media
And finally the Misters Goth have their family lunch. Milton tries to share the love with Savannah but she is not interested in getting along just right now. Seriously he can’t say anything to her in the friendly or funny categories? She can talk so not sure why they can’t communicate toddler to toddler
Tumblr media
You get a gift, and you get a gift, and you get a gift! Everyone gets a gift! Alexander got some upgrade parts, James got a new PC and Milton got his first voidcritter card. Then everyone gathers for that magic moment, the lighting of the tree (yes I forgot to do it earlier, we’re rolling with it people)

i hope im not annoying but
at first when i saw the name “sage” i didn’t think much of it but the reading analysis nerd in me made me look it up and this was the definition:
a profoundly wise person; a person famed for wisdom.
someone venerated for the possession of wisdom, judgment, and experience.
now; the reader, while being clever and a schemer, is not wise. also in the capitol, despite having close to perfect grades she is known for her harshness, impulsivity and anger issues, she might intimidate people but it feels like a stretch to say she was venerated. she is quick to judge and lacks experience due to her age and limited world view.
so why choose “sage” as a new identity?
my theory is that:
1. the name might have been given to her by lucy gray. the reader as much as lucy knows is smart, helpful, determined and driven to succeed, easily fitting the definition of the word.
lucy gray could also have found it for her to not stand out, finding a name similar to the ones in the covey and therefore creating a sense of familiarity and comfort for her.
it wouldn’t be a surprise for lucy gray to know the benefits of the sage plant, primarily memory and brain health for this case. it can be considered symbolic for the reader because well, everything about her and the things that led to this moment is a product a mind.
anyways, i’ve already written the rest of the list but this is getting too long- if you want to read more do tell!! ♥️
“i hope im not annoying-“ OMG NO I LOVE YOU SO MUCH I WANT TO KISS YOUR BRAIN
okay so let’s talk about this because i ALSO am a name nerd and i choose my OC names all very carefully and her pseudonym was no exception i put a lot of thought into this and i am so SO happy to see someone got it.
when i wrote it i pictured that lucy gray gave it to her and i also did some googling and i wanted it to fit into the vibe of the covey but also have some significance. so you are spot on with all of it but the primary takeaway i wanted from anyone reading who’s not a name nerd like us was that ‘sage’, while a colour and a plant, does mean wise and all the other stuff you included but also that that is not who she is. so basically, it’s symbolic of yes that’s a fake name but also does she really even belong? even if she tries, even if she plays with the covey and changes her style and even her name, does she belong there?
thank you so so much for bringing this up and please do send me ALL your thoughts and if you don’t mind pls pick an emoji to sign off with bc i’d love to know when it’s you !!
again,, i love you so so much for this

if no one else has sent you him, can I get Celeborn for the ask meme?
Absolutely :D
1: sexuality headcanon
Personally, I think Celeborn is bisexual as well as demisexual (e.g. he needs connection before he can really find himself attracted, but it could theoretically happen with anyone), but never found a real opportunity to express/indulge his attraction to men. There may well have been a time where he wondered if he was asexual in Doriath, but then Artanis showed up and suddenly he realized he was very, very capable of attraction.
Personal mischief headcanon is that Artanis, while mutually attracted, spent the first portion of her time in Doriath indulging in a Thing with Luthien (or Melian depending on your headcanons of her and Thingol's relationship, ymmv), and he was Very, Very jealous (though not like, rude about it). When the Thing ended, he was very quick to throw aside his reservations and state his intentions to Artanis as clearly and forthrightedly as possible.
2: otp
Galadriel ofc. Early Artanis I picture as having been with a few people for brief stints, but I really don't think Celeborn has ever known anyone else in that way, nor does he want to, and when she found him she found someone she could spend eternity with.
3: brotp
I think once Elrond, Galadriel and most of the elves sailed, in that brief span of years he spent in Middle Earth alone I think he really found himself reaching out and finding peers in people he never really allowed himself to before - particularly with Thranduil, Elrohir, and Elladan. Thranduil was a fellow monarch before, but was distant, and his grandsons weren't as present as Arwen - I think he would have been looking for more connection at this point, and probably wanted to spend as much time with them as possible before he sailed (as, depending on readings, one or both might not have joined him).
4: notp
Uhh.... Kind of anyone? It's hard for me to see him as anyone but Galadriel's - unless they tried to bring someone into the bedroom for some mutual fun, I suppose. They're multi-millennials in a stable loving relationship, I could see them giving it a shot. Relationships though, nah.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head
He's younger than Galadriel by a little bit, maybe just a century or so. I picture most of the main elves from the Silm as having roughly a millennium in Aman before the Darkening (though I'd yield to more detailed texts), and overall I just find that I'm not a fan of readings where Celeborn is much older than she is (for all that it's a valid reading of the text).
6: favorite line from this character
"Let Gimli forget my harsh words: I spoke in the trouble of my heart. I will do what I can to aid you, each according to his wish and need, but especially that one of the little folk who bears the burden" (FoTR)
I appreciate that Celeborn really lives up to his epithet. He's the Wise - he can take counsel, which is especially validating given it comes directly from his wife. How many other men would stew in resentment of the dwarf despite better wisdom? Especially Sinda men - Thingol, Oropher, and Thranduil all made that error, and Celeborn learns from it and corrects himself when he speaks in haste and prejudice.
7: one way in which I relate to this character
I mean, I also think Galadriel is pretty dang rad.
More seriously though, I try to be someone who will yield to better wisdom when it's given, yet I also often find myself in error. I can only aspire to be patient and make allowances for my lapses, and try to do better next time. To listen is a trait I think many would benefit from.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character
(I don't know what I did with the font below here - Tumblr's edit is odd)
The fact that RoP seems to have forgotten him, and is in the process of trying to cuckold him? The fact that even PJ's movies seem to ship Galadriel with Gandalf harder than it cares about him? My man has been written out of damn near every thing he's in, it's infuriating.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?
Bit of both? He simps hard for his wife and while he's got a bit of prejudice to work through, he's making an honest effort of it!

Tumblr media
I just posted a tweet from a writer who had only two people show up to their reading. Tons of writers, some of them very well known, responded with similar stories. I've had my own experience of that as the writer with the tiny audience, but it reminded me of the time in 1990 when I was an audience of one and the amazing person gave the workshop anyway and it changed my life and generated books and a friendship that still flourishes, and thank you Bob Fulkerson, who was the giver that day. Here's an essay/chapter of Hope in the Dark about the impact of that first meeting with Bob, the faith of writers, the mystery of how it all unfolds, and other related things. Happily this chapter begins with another dear friend who I had no idea was going to become the great writer he is now recognized as.... ON THE INDIRECTNESS OF DIRECT ACTION A friend, Jaime Cortez, tells me I should consider the difference between hope and faith. Hope, he says, can be based on the evidence, on the track record of what might be possible—and in this book I’ve been trying to shift what the track record might be. But faith endures even when there’s no way to imagine winning in the foreseeable future; faith is more mystical. Jaime sees the American left as pretty devoid of faith and connects faith to what it takes to change things in the long term, beyond what you might live to see or benefit from. I argue that what was once the left is now so full of anomalies—of indigenous intellectuals and Catholic pacifists and the like—that maybe we have faith, some of us. Activism isn’t reliable. It isn’t fast. It isn’t direct either, most of the time, even though the term direct action is used for that confrontation in the streets, those encounters involving lawbreaking and civil disobedience. It may be because activists move like armies through the streets that people imagine effects as direct as armies, but an army assaults the physical world and takes physical possession of it; activists reclaim the streets and occasionally seize a Bastille or topple a Berlin Wall, but the terrain of their action is usually immaterial, the realm of the symbolic, political discourse, collective imagination. They enter the conversation forcefully, but it remains a conversation. Every act is an act of faith, because you don’t know what will happen. You just hope and employ whatever wisdom and experience seems most likely to get you there. I believe all this because I’ve lived it, and I’ve lived it because I’m a writer. For twenty years I have sat alone at a desk tinkering with sentences and then sending them out, and for most of my literary life the difference between throwing something in the trash and publishing it was imperceptible, but in the past several years the work has started coming back to me, or the readers have. Musicians and dancers face their audience and visual artists can spy on them, but reading is mostly as private as writing. Writing is lonely, it’s an intimate talk with the dead, with the unborn, with the absent, with strangers, with the readers who may never come to be and who even if they read you will do so weeks, years, decades later. An essay, a book, is one statement in a long conversation you could call culture or history; you are answering something or questioning something that may have fallen silent long ago, and the response to your words may come long after you’re gone and never reach your ears, if anyone hears you in the first place. After all, this is how it’s been for so many books that count, books that didn’t shake the world when they first appeared but blossomed later. This is a model for how indirect effect can be, how delayed, how invisible; no one is more hopeful than a writer, no one is a bigger gambler. Thoreau’s 1849 essay “Civil Disobedience” finally found its readers in the twentieth century when it was put into practice as part of the movements that changed the world (Thoreau’s voice was little heard in his time, but it echoed across the continent in the 1960s and has not left us since. Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, Walter Benjamin, and Arthur Rimbaud, like Thoreau, achieved their greatest impact long after their deaths, long after weeds had grown over the graves of most of the bestsellers of their lifetimes.) You write your books. You scatter your seeds. Rats might eat them, or they might rot. In California, some seeds lie dormant for decades because they only germinate after fire, and sometimes the burned landscape blooms most lavishly. Thought becomes action becomes the order of things, but no straight road takes you there. Nobody can know the full consequences of their actions, and history is full of small acts that changed the world in surprising ways. I was one of thousands of activists at the Nevada Test Site in the late 1980s, an important, forgotten history still unfolding out there where the United States and Great Britain have exploded more than a thousand nuclear bombs with disastrous effects on the environment and human health (and where the Bush administration would like to resume testing, thereby tearing up the last shreds of the unratified Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty). Some of the largest acts of civil disobedience in American history were committed when we would walk into the place to be arrested as trespassers, thousands in a day. There too, as in peace marches, just walking became a form of political speech, one whose directness was a delight after all the usual avenues of politicking: sitting in front of computers, going to meetings, making phone calls, dealing with money. Among the throng arrested were Quakers, Buddhists, Shoshone, Mormons, pagans, anarchists, veterans, and physicists. We would barely make the news in the United States. But we were visible on the other side of the world. Our acts inspired the Kazakh poet Olzhas Suleimenov on February 27, 1989, to read a manifesto instead of poetry on live Kazakh TV, a manifesto demanding a shutdown of the Soviet test site in Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan, and to call a meeting. Five thousand Kazakhs gathered at the writers’ union the next day and formed a movement that shut down the nuclear test site. They named themselves the Nevada-Semipalatinsk Antinuclear Movement, and they acted in concert with us. Us by that time included the Western Shoshone who had come to endorse our actions and point out that we and the United States government were on their land; the Kazakhs identified with these indigenous people. Anyway, the Soviet test site was shut down. The catalyst was Suleimenov, and though we in Nevada were his inspiration, what gave him his platform was his poetry in a country that loves poets. There’s a wonderful parable by Jorge Luis Borges. In the last years of the thirteenth century, God tells a leopard in a cage, “You live and will die in this prison so that a man I know of may see you a certain number of times and not forget you and place your figure and symbol in a poem which has its precise place in the scheme of the universe. You suffer captivity, but you will have given a word to the poem.” The poem is the Divine Comedy; the man who sees the leopard is Dante. Perhaps Suleimenov wrote all his poems so that one day he could stand up in front of a TV camera and deliver not a poem but a manifesto. And Arundhati Roy wrote a ravishing novel, The God of Small Things, that catapulted her to international stardom, perhaps so that when she stood up to oppose dams and corporations and corruption and the destruction of the local, people would notice. Or perhaps they opposed the ravaging of the earth so that poetry too would survive in the world. A couple of years ago, a friend wrote me to urge me to focus on the lyrical end of my writing rather than activism and I wrote back, “What is the purpose of resisting corporate globalization if not to protect the obscure, the ineffable, the unmarketable, the unmanageable, the local, the poetic, and the eccentric? So they need to be practiced, celebrated, and studied too, right now.” I could have added that these acts themselves become forms of resistance; the two are not necessarily separate practices. All those years that I went to the Nevada Test Site to oppose nuclear testing, the experience was also about camping in the desert, about the beauty of the light and the grandeur of the space, about friendship and discovery. The place gave me far more than I could ever give it. Resistance is usually portrayed as a duty, but it can be a pleasure, an education, a revelation. The year after the birth of the Nevada-Semipalatinsk Antinuclear Movement, when some of its members were already with us at the peace camp next to the Nevada Test Site, I was the only one who attended a workshop there on Nevada and the military. The man giving it was visibly disappointed but gave it splendidly for me alone. As we sat in the rocks and dust and creosote bush of the deep desert on a sunny day, the great Nevada organizer Bob Fulkerson taught me that the atrocities of nuclear testing were not unique in that state with a fifth of all the military land in the country and invited me to travel into its remote reaches. He is still a cherished friend of mine and still the executive director of a coalition he founded a few years later, the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN), the most potent statewide group of its kind, bringing together environmental, labor, and human rights groups. What came of Bob’s invitation changed my life and had much to do with my book Savage Dreams, the first half of which is about the Test Site and the strands of its history wrapped around the world, and before there was the book there was an essay version of what the Test Site and Bob taught me that appeared in a magazine with circulation of about half a million. A few years ago I went back to the Test Site for another spring action, and there I met several students from Evergreen College in Washington who had decided to come down because they had been reading Savage Dreams in class. If you’re lucky, you carry a torch into that dark of Virginia Woolf’s, and if you’re really lucky you’ll sometimes see to whom you’ve passed it, as I did on that day (and if you’re polite, you’ll remember who handed it to you). I don’t know if the Evergreen kids have become great activists or died in a car crash on the way home, but I know that for them I was a leopard prompting a word or two of the poem of their own lives, as Bob was for me. Borges’s parable continues. On his deathbed, Dante is told by God what the secret purpose of his life and work was. “Dante, in wonderment, knew at last who and what he was and blessed the bitterness of his life.” One day in Auschwitz, the writer Primo Levi recited a canto of Dante’s Inferno to a companion, and the poem about hell reached out from six hundred years before to roll back Levi’s despair and his dehumanization. It was the canto about Ulysses, and though it ends tragically, it contains the lines “You were not made to live like animals But to pursue virtue and know the world,” which he recited and translated to the man walking with him. Levi lived, and wrote marvelous books of his own, poetry after Auschwitz in the most literal sense. In 1940, in his last letter to a friend before his death, the incomparable, uncategorizable German-Jewish essayist and theorist Walter Benjamin wrote, “Every line we succeed in publishing today—no matter how uncertain the future to which we entrust it—is a victory wrenched from the powers of darkness.”

Show Compassion
I don't know what I want to make this blog about, I think that is the hardest part of being consistent and I might just touch on many different topics but just expect everything I post here to be sporadic in such way.
To get to a point where you can say that you are commonly known by others but more importantly yourself, that you effect people's lives in a positive way take a lot of time however it is a strong stance to take and can be seen as egotistical. I would not use the latter word when describing myself however I do think I am at that point, or rather it has been reached in the past. Ways at which this point can be achieved varies tremendously and I do not know how I got there myself, assuming I am there. I have been told that I am approachable or that I am easy and comfortable to be around. I do not deem myself as some of these things, more so my approachability but I think I can agree with that fact that once people start speaking to me then I generally end up being a comfortable person to be around considering what I look like.
I like imagining the butterfly effect to be a ripple of water, the amount of power that can be generated from such a small ripple can be immense. In metaphorical sense, something so small can have such a huge effect on someone or everyone. Would you every be able to wrap your head around it? No. DO NOT diminish something you do for someone or beat yourself up about it because you'll never know what you did for them or anyone around them. Think of it as the non-linear consequences of ones actions. And no, we're not using consequences in a negative manner - most people immediate assumptions of the word - but rather by literal translation of something happening because of something. However do not look past the fact that it could be negative as well. The smallest of ripples is enough to cover us in cuts and bruises, that is how weak we are.
Treat your actions with good intent and show compassion to everyone, despite their situation or societal stigmas. Nichiren Daishonin speaks of fundamental darkness, meaning, fundamental ignorance or primal ignorance, inability to see or recognise the truth. I think one of the ways to reach the point where you effect people's lives in a positive way is if someone is not in a state of fundamental darkness. The indirect benefits that not being in this state brings are probably quite invisible compared to the visibility of benefits due to / because of the active process of making someone's life better. How unstoppable someone would be if not shrouded by fundamental darkness and who takes on an active approach.
Revealing innate stupidity, greed, anger only make society a dark, depressing and angry place. On the other hand revealing wisdom, joy, energy, courage and compassion takes a huge effort and repeated determination but in turn makes the world more peaceful, inspiring and and creative. Despite hope being easy to lose it is easier to gain again. Do not use the reason of losing it as an excuse to give up. People who feel more hopeful are potentially more likely to feel motivated autonomously and may feel as if they have some control over a given situation. According to Hope Theory, developed by C.R. Snyder, hope is one's ability to create multiple pathways to goals. I do not take this in the literal sense, but being hopeful makes you more likely to attract someone / something that you want. This can tie in with law of attraction and some spirituality stuff - which I wont get into know, I will probably start of tomorrow with that - but the simple sentence of " you can not attract what you are not open to" holds a lot of meaning. If you are hopeful of something then you are open to it or at least your closer to being open to it than if you were not hopeful.
EVERYONE has problems and despite the leaps that have been made nowadays of the awareness of mental health and to encourage people to take care of it, we are still in a generation where a high majority of people will still keep problems to themselves and are not working on them. To find individuals that are emotionally intelligence are quite rare, and to find people that have become emotionally intelligent from trauma is not. This goes largely for men as well. I have opened up to people before, women specifically but never a man, not fully at least. And most of the times I have kind of regretted it, it has now gotten to the point now where I have a barrier when it comes to being vulnerable around people which also leads into some thoughts about radical openness but I will not get into that now. Since then I have learnt a lot and changed a lot but I still have never been fully vulnerable around men. We live in a world where we are shamed for being vulnerable.
There’s a story Brené Brown (a shame researcher) tells where a guy approaches her and said, “I like what you had to say… but my wife and daughters? They’d rather see me die on top of my white horse than watch me fall off. You say you want us to be vulnerable and real, but c’mon. You can’t stand it. It makes you sick to see us like that.”. Dr. Brown went on to say that, “Men are smart. They hear us asking for their vulnerability, but are also very aware that we may act scared or resentful when they show their vulnerable side.” It’s a hard line to walk, and we often don’t know how to weather those storms. I’m trying more, but like you, find myself in the well of sorrow often trying to escape. The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.
Awaken others by awakening ones self..

2 Corinthians 5:17 Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come.
Romans 8:38-39 Neither death nor life, … neither the present nor the future, … nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Psalm 69:5-6 You know my folly, O God; my guilt is not hidden from You. 6 May those who hope in You not be disgraced because of me, O Lord, the LORD Almighty; may those who seek You not be put to shame because of me, O God of Israel.
Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat of the good of the land.
Ephesians 3:10 God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display His wisdom in its rich variety.
Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
May you never forget that the Lord is a jealous and avenging God Who takes vengeance on His foes and maintains His wrath against His enemies, for though He is slow to anger, He is great in power and the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished, for no one can withstand His fierce anger or endure His indignation. Nahum 1
May you always remember that the Lord is good, a strength and a stronghold for you in the day of trouble, for He recognizes, accepts and cares for those who trust in Him. Nahum 1
May you be willing to bring the good news of peace to those who live in fear and constant dread, sharing the truth of how God sent Jesus Who willingly died to defeat death and was given life again by the Father, destroying the power of the grave for those who believe on the Son of God. Nahum 1
May you gain wisdom from the experience of those who forsake and reject the guidance of God as they grasp instead for the power and might of the world, for though they express pride in how much they have gained, it will not benefit them in times of distress and it will cost them their souls in the day of God's wrath. Nahum 2
May you be confident in the promises of God, knowing that although the enemy, like a lion, seizes his prey and none escapes, the Lord is the One Who determines which prey is seized, and He protects and hides His own, until the fullness of time when He declares an end to unrighteousness and destroys the powers of wickedness. Nahum 2
May you rejoice in the city of God, overflowing with life, filled with His truth, full of the blessings of God ever poured out to the poor and needy who come there and are never turned away, the voices of the people raised in praise to their Lord and God, as the peace of God permeates the hearts and minds of those who dwell there, multitudes without end, each supporting and encouraging their neighbor, all because of the love of the Father and of His Son Who gave His life for you that you may walk in the light and the joy of His freedom. Nahum 3
You seek to know Me, My child, and I welcome you. Your sight is dim, but I help you find and touch My face. You have trouble hearing what I say, but I gladly speak in many different ways to your heart. You are slow to learn My lessons, but My love for you is not based on your performance. You are feeble, but I supply you with My strength to do the tasks you are assigned. Your legs tire quickly, but My back is ever strong to carry you. Your hands are clumsy and without skill, but I am always by your side. You weep because you cannot come to Me in perfection and holiness, but I bring you joy as I come to you in your need, bearing gifts. Lean on Me, depend on Me, abide in Me, wait on Me, that I may be your Beloved Who accepts you as you are. I transform you in your shortcomings, making you a witness before the world to the riches of My glory, that I may draw whosoever will, for I am not willing that any should perish.
May you wait in silence before the throne, attentive and anticipating, until God gives you the message to speak, for His Word, spoken in His time, will accomplish His purpose, be it blessing upon His people who have prepared their hearts to receive Him or judgment upon His enemies who persistently embrace a lifestyle of arrogant rejection toward His rightful authority. Revelation 8
May you be awake and aware to the things God does in the world, ready to respond to the prompting of the Spirit, knowing that He makes a distinction between His people and the world, placing a boundary that the enemy cannot cross, for as you are in the world, but not of the world, so you can be His witness in the midst of turmoil, testifying to His goodness in the presence of wickedness and demonstrating His compassion in the aftermath of evil. Revelation 8
May you give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His love endures forever. Psalm 136
May you desire of the Lord to keep falsehood and lies far from you and to give you neither poverty nor riches, but only your daily bread. Proverbs 30:8

Day 1000 Milestone Message
Reprinted from the website UniqueDestinations.org Director's Den.
Director’s Note 9/27/2023 Day 1000
A Urumalli, U Macinasar, G Entum – Unique Destinations Enterprise   began its long, and very strange, journey – on a (virtual) global wander, two years before the website UniqueDestinations.org  was first presented to the peoples of Earth, and a ‘curtain’ – drawn back – upon – enigma (?), on the very last possible day, of 2020 ‘envisioning’ – December 31st, 2020, at 12P GMT.
One thousand days ago – a website was turned ‘On’, and ‘novel‘ information (possibly),  was – SHARED – with all the World.
With a brief word of prayerful hope to the spirit of my recently deceased mother, (the company’s sole benefactor),… I flipped a switch, and transmitted to: 74 news agencies; 10 specialty organizations (like Smithsonian and National Geographic); and 63 billionaires or their foundational Twitter handles – a black and white image, five-word cut-line, and the website domain name.
Originally, I aimed to advance ‘human understanding‘ by presenting a ‘Supreme Adventure’ – an ‘Opportunity of a Lifetime’ – to those with bottomless pockets,… as – ‘the method’ – to advance the (possible) understanding of all.
It was my opinion – back then – that the wealthy, seeking a new ‘mountain’ to summit,… – (giants of industry, stately princes, and worldly potentates) – would have at their command  the necessary means and connections – to carry out such an adventure, in a productive, fruitful, successfully-constructive fashion, while also permitting the global populace to ‘root’ and cheer for their favorite ‘titans’.
The rest of the planetary populace –  I envisioned – would benefit in a number of ways. Besides the potential new awareness of no longer being alone in the Universe – coupled with the ‘extrapolated’ concomitant illuminated calling – to each soul to make changes – to ‘evolve’ and ‘grow’ – our own human hearts – and advance our neighborliness, sociability, and sense of responsibility… the trickle-down access to possible new technology devices, the dissemination and relaying of (possibly) ‘novel’ materials, and the realization that this world is full  of amazing and remarkable wonders, to witness and appreciate – (and to safeguard),… there is much to be grateful and thankful (of, for, and in.)
The arguing against the wisdom of this method of dissemination – is now – a moot point. (The ‘cork’ – is – now –  ‘off-the-bottle’!) (I would posit – that whoever might come upon such a ‘novelty’, (and who recognized the possible/potential – inherent/intrinsic value,… – that anyone – would decide – to ‘do‘,… ‘whatever’   – they would decide – to ‘do‘ – about whatever they found.)
I chose – to try help advance everyone – with a global adventure opportunity of discovery.
A lot of thought has gone into this enterprise -(the words could fill a book.)
However,… because my mind was so ‘focused’  on presenting the – ‘data‘ – my eyes failed to notice – that there was a tremendous flaw presented on my Homepage, that for one reason or another – went unnoticed until 580 days into the presentation! – The Header and Footer, and copyright(!!!), displayed the intended word ‘Enterprise’ as ‘Enterprize’, (as in ‘enter – prize‘ – as in ‘joining the auction construct?’ – was that my thinking??),… (But… – I had Incorporated – under the word – ‘Enterprise‘ – like the Starship!) (This illustrates - one of the hazards of a small firm lacking a dedicated proof reader.)   The error was rectified on the day – but the damage was well-inflicted, – ‘doubt’ – was sown. And on Day 775,… February 14th, 2023, Valentine’s Day,… at ‘High-Noon’,… the GPS Coordinates Auction – closed with my company retaining control of the GPS coordinates/Intellectual Property. (I had communicated over 100,000 Tweets in that time frame – many regarding the website.)
Four days after closing the GPS Coordinates Auction – on Saturday, February 18, 2023, the self-proclaimed, ‘free-speech-absolutist’ – and chief twit, PERMANENTLY SUSPENDED, without any understanding of ‘Why’, or having ability to re-phrase or retract ‘words’. As an old-time telephone operator might phrase it,… – the ‘plug’ was pulled on NotYourAverageBozo, on Twitter. (The coining of the CEO moniker arose out of the fact that I, indeed, was not your regular type ‘funny’-guy – (I had an angle!) – I had – and still have – a possible ancient crashed flying saucer – to promote!
For 779 days, I advertised/broadcast my ‘novel’ information on the Twitter platform, for – Free.
(Since going Live, the original redacted English pdf script, has been improved to be comprehensible in 104 languages, and ‘select-text to spoken English’ –  added for those with vision and/or literacy issues.)
Long ago,… back in the day,… once upon a time,… Twitter was regarded by many, to be The ‘virtual-global-town square’.
@YourBozo had around 3,500 folk who followed him, as he expounded on his soapbox. (That is not a large number, but it is not small, either.) I did not seek to beg for folk to follow me. Most – almost all who followed – were folk who found in my account, something interesting, and chose to follow so they might learn more of what I might say. They were/(are) very interesting people. Ranging from UN delegates/rocket scientists/ engineers/ astrophysicists/ psychologists/medical doctors/ teachers/ geologists /funny animal content creators/politicos / environmental warriors/ hearty, feisty, cancer battlers – and more! (Special shout outs to RC de Winter, John Dabell, and GrandmaSmokesWeed – your artistic adeptness, your indomitable spirit, and your joyful heart – made my days better. – Thank you for your sharing with me.)
The Twitter platform allowed me to reach out to those in the film and book industries – like George Lucas, Steven Spielberg,  James Cameron, Sam Raimi, Rob Tappert, William Shatner, George Takei, and Mark Hamill. (I shared ‘celebratory’ tweets with Stephen and Tabitha King, but hesitated connecting too deeply, as I wanted my enterprise to be more ‘uplifting’ than ‘spooky’.)
While ‘advertising’ on Twitter, I managed to share-out my broadcast messages before: Queen Elizabeth II; Colin Powell; Larry King; Betty White; Carl Reiner; Richard Leakey; Nichelle Nichols; Alan Arkin; David Warner; William Hurt; Tony Bennet; Jimmy Buffet; and many other luminaries, had their lights dimmed forever. (I felt a small sense of accomplishment in the sharing of my materials with those celebrities, while they might have been able to take it all in – my mother never got that far.)
I miss interacting with you all  – your squirrel memes, scientific brilliance, masterful artistry, moving poetry, and your ‘daily logs’ of ‘life’… I may not have responded to everyone,  but, let me say,… the ‘Town Square’ made my days brighter, thank you for your sharing. – (I hope you all are well.)
In the last week of the Auction, On Super Bowl Sunday, February 12th, 2023,… I managed to post an AUDIO Back Story Twitter Spaces – detailing the words relayed to new programmers before they could do any work for me, and allowing the curious, wandering global citizens, to hear a similar talk, should they desire to understand more  about what I was thinking.
The last week of the GPS Auction,… was also the – ‘time of balloons’. During this last week of the sale, @Your Bozo had communicated support of the current administration, in tweeted responses communicated to President Biden’s POTUS Twitter account (the message, which now exists forever in the U.S. Government Archives.)
I apologize for not engaging more with you wonderful Twitter folk when I had the chance, – (when I was still permitted to communicate with other users on that platform.) At the time, I had been mentally, (mainly) in ‘broadcasting‘ mode. I was focused on bringing news to the world, in as disarming a fashion – as much as I could manage.
I used the CEO profile: to address issues with the voice of (a financially, as yet, unrealized), Bruce Wayne/ Tony Stark type – boldly standing for progress, a better Tomorrow,  and a staunch defender of humanity – calling out hypocrisy, injustice, and irresponsibility.
(I had also gregariously offered/shared, on Twitter, my hope of throwing a party for all my ‘friends’, when ‘my ship – came in’. (I imagined some very interesting gatherings!) Now,… Twitter is no longer free, or fair, nor even – ‘Twitter” – (it’s now – pronounced ‘ex’.) Musk has shown the nature of his character, by the actions he has taken. (He was one of the 63 billionaires that I had originally sent message, but when he purchased Twitter – he invalidated his chances to participate – purchasing the platform that I had been broadcasting and advertising upon, thereby placing himself in a special unfair position – able to orchestrate/obfuscate interactions  with @Your Bozo on Twitter.)
(Jeff Bezos and Sir Richard Branson had also been sent emails and Tweets regarding the Adventure offering.) – (I fear I may have slighted Mr. Bezos, when congratulating him on his trip to the edge of space, and returning to the Earth safely… – by poorly phrased tweet regarding ‘proportions’. – I humbly apologize.)
(Sir Richard – after you touched down, and you relayed your experience,…  and you pulled those UFO pictures from your pocket, and shared you were going to take the grandkids to see the movie ‘ET’,… Sir! I very much enjoyed your sharing! – I hope they enjoyed the film.)
With the Coordinates Auction concluded, We sought another avenue to explore, in our pursuit, to bring Our Intellectual Property, to the Globe.
Onward to Plan ‘B’. After the Grand Adventure as Auction item,… I moved on to present an Art sale, as a way to carry-on the ‘conversation’ of the website.
Artistic renditions of the ‘object'(?) were put up for sale – (but small company foibles resulted in experienced software glitching, that resulted in nobody taking any of the images ‘home’.) After the last permutation of the Art Auction ended without any takers, the decision was made to hand-off the Artwork to a gallery or museum, via donation. This remains the intended plan, but making contact with potential gallery acquisition offices, has yet to be enacted, as it requires a certain amount of ‘finesse’, ‘refinement’, and – chutzpah.
Our small office, seeking some modicum of income, sought to create a small item of merchandise – a thermal-reactive color-changing coffee mug, that interested parties could wrap their hands around (minds – too!) – Besides holding hot beverages safely – the mug also serves  as a portable advertisement - for more mugs and – the underlying, obvious messages,  that such an image might/could bring into the mind – a real conversation starter!
Being a very small, company has required wearing many hats. Besides working hard behind the scenes on the website – keeping the elements functioning cohesively, (a constant activity) We have been tasked to craft Social Media promotional materials - Tweets/posts/letters/emails/videos,… – (work is never finished.)
(On Day 998 of the Presentation, the website surpassed the previous year’s total of Unique Visitors!)
(Currently the website Visitor counters have been acting up – (but they display the correct values behind the scenes.) A related Count-Up Clock glitch has been repaired, but, before I can spend the time seeking the Visitor Count display rectified,…   attention on the approaching deadline  for the 1000 day reflection message reigns supreme.)
Of the latest Social Media posts that have been created,… – the Letters to NASA and the U.S. Congress  – are of most importance.
For the record, on April 16th, 2023, UniqueDestinations.org, placed a ‘Red Curtain Tour’ video on the bottom of the Home page – three days before – the (Open/Closed) April 19th U.S. Senate Committee hearing regarding the Pentagon’s All-Domain-Resolution-Office (AARO) and Unidentified (Arial/Anomalous) Phenomena – UAPs.
Also for the record, on July 21st, 2023 – five days before – the (Open) U.S. House Oversight Committee meeting on UAPs took place, We had posted to the Directors Den page, a Letter in response to the (Open) May 31st., 2023 NASA + AARO UAP Framework Development Meeting that was posted to YouTube  in a 4 hour presentation. And once more for the record, on July 31st, 2023 – one day before – the scheduled release of the Pentagon‘s Report on the findings regarding the May 31st. 2023 NASA + AARO UAP Framework meeting,… UniqueDestinations.org posted to the Director’s Den page,… an Open Letter to Congress, (that has since been directly communicated to two members of the U.S. Senate), ensuring all – that the veteran (owned/operated small business), was/is, a valid entity, possessing Intellectual Property, and a strong sense of civic duty.
After two years of intense, mostly solitary preparation, followed by a ‘curtain, being drawn back’,… and then,… one thousand days elapsing,… here we all are.
From the moment that I made ‘discovery’ (maybe), I kept family, friends and pretty faces at a distance. Worries about individuals seeking to strong-arm kept secrets, and fears of exposure to novel disease, (served to keep all at arm’s-length.
As I strove to keep shepherded, potential ‘novel’ information, I came to the understanding, that there is no real best time, to impart ‘new’ information to the entire planet.
I had not wanted to have my construct ‘moved-on’ while the United States Government was at the mercy of the bottle-blond, bully-boy, blowhard. – (I felt embarrassed  – that I might force a (new/old?) neighbor (possibly), to ‘meet-and-greet’ with the old, angry, orange, buffoon.) – (I worried for the sake of all humanity.)
Six days after the Presentation began – there was a very poor display of ‘civic pride’,  in the Capitol Building of the United States, (unconnected to the materials and messages of Our website), in an attempt to circumvent the established Rules of Law, by the adherents of the outgoing Administration. This display of poor sportsmanship, frankly illumined, to ‘all those observant’, of the ‘state-of-play’ – within the hearts and minds of 21st Century humanity. – (From the dawn of Time – until this moment – it seems that Humanity – still has much room for improvement. – (I know myself – to be an imperfect human – yet, I believe myself capable of adaptation, growth, and learning.)
Politics was not top of mind when the ‘curtain’ was pulled-back. It was hoped that the global elite would want to feed on the ‘wonderful possibility’ contained in the journeying and marvelous-mental-machinations of making ‘first-contact’ with (some potentially very old) ‘neighbors – (maybe.) And through their efforts – the enigmatic – (if actual),… be taken – ‘mainstream’, and We might – all humanity – ‘progress‘, ‘evolve‘, and benefit.
Somewhere out there – (it is a thought of mine) – there may be (possibly) some – very, long-suffering, patient, neighbors  – waiting – for technically-savvy minds that can wrap around such revelatory information, and understand the science and physics involved, without sounds of ‘oooga-booga’, or other skeptical flat-Earth exhortations, so that a Conversation might be taken up, and – Humanity – able to turn a new page  on its own existence.
This message is being posted to the World, – three days before – the United States Government faces a budgetary crisis, created out of one political party seeking to throw a tantrum - like a little child. This is where things stand, at the moment – Humanity – displaying – ‘room-to-grow‘.
Humanity has also shown itself to be capable of sending an object on a four billion mile  (six year) journey to an asteroid/land safely/ collect rock samples/lift-off the asteroid/ and safely – (beautifully!) – land on Earth with samples of the building blocks of Our solar system! (Congratulations NASA! That was amazing feat of technological engineering! – Bravo!) Humans are capable of remarkable things – none of which would likely happen – without hope, deep thought, and perseverance. Over the days that have been, there have been moments that I have questioned (briefly),  walking away, from what is presented at UniqueDestinations.org. (Emphasis on ‘briefly‘.) I am a hopeful soul. I am also a dreamer – a person that thinks about what might be achieved, if adequate thought /time/resources/and labor – could be employed.
Humanity has learned to: harness fire; grow food; communicate ideas over vast distances and time; build bridges and indoor plumbing; create symphonies; erect architectural wonders; turn on the TV with remote control devices; photograph atoms; step on the surface of the Moon; even to send objects – out of the solar system. Humans have achieved much, when they apply themselves, in joint effort.
Just imagine, what might be possible to learn – if the opportunity would only present itself, and the chance not ignored, but moved upon? (Imagine if there might be some – ‘leap‘ – of understanding?)
Over time, folk have asked, ‘When are you going to stop doing what you are doing?” My response to this (defeatist sounding) question is… ‘When the information is either debunked, or validated’. – (There are other things  that Unique Destinations Enterprise would like to work on. First up, after this Premier item is imparted – is a possible, 15th. C caravel!)
With hope in the heart, and well-wishes to all who dream of better days and brighter, happier tomorrows, We shall continue our vigil and efforts to provide (possible) illumination to this World.
One thousand suns have crested the horizon since We first shared with the planet. One thousand dawns have kissed sweet dreams to the night. – (And tomorrow – shall shine on Day One Thousand and One.)
The information possessed by Unique Destinations Enterprise, and on display at UniqueDestinations.org, has been shared to all peoples – at no expense  – in 104 languages – out of a sense of duty and obligation to humanity, in the hope that we all might step up our ‘game’ and grow/ evolve into more responsible and enlightened human beings, capable of acting more neighborly, and accepting of – others – who may not look like ourselves.
Unique Destinations Enterprise has hopes to hand-off the Coordinates, this year, but We have to wait until the U.S. Government is able to pay its bills and keep the lights on. (We need functional/rational/constructive minds with which to interact and communicate -(foot-dragging proponents of backward cogitation, and childish-tomfoolery, do not assist – in the disseminating.))
As a United States citizen, I am well aware that such materials as are presented, would be a gift for all the World to benefit from, and so,… I envision a Letter to the United Nations, to be among the taskings still in store, for this small company to formulate. (After NASA, the U.S. Congress, and the United Nations – I am about out of ladder rungs to climb!)
NASA had asked for materials to be made available to the global scientific community, so that ‘truths’ might be divined – quoting Carl Sagan – “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof” – Unique Destinations Enterprise has remained unchanged  in its thousand days of messaging. The directions are clear, the path forward remains before us all.
My mother said I should write a book,… and after two years of preparation, followed by One Thousand days of ‘presenting’,… I think the ‘word-count’ is approaching novel ‘length’! I apologize for the lack of an English teacher guiding me along the ways of commas, colons, hyphens and parenthesis. (I am not AI, and did not employ AI to craft this message.)
Thank you for your patience reading to this point.
Unique Destinations Enterprise is – ‘A place where dreams and reality may meet.’ ‘Have Dreams – Can Travel’ – that is Our motto, and what we would offer to everyone.
Respectfully,
The Director A Urumalli, U Macinasar, G Entum – Unique Destinations Enterprise

Daily Devotionals for May 28, 2023 Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 17:10-12(KJV): 10 A reproof entereth more into a wise man than a hundred stripes into a fool. 11 An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him. 12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly. Proverbs 17:10-12(Amp): 10 A reproof enters deeper into one of understanding than a hundred lashes into a (self-confident) fool. 11 An evil man seeks only rebellion; therefore a stern and pitiless messenger shall be sent against him. 12 Let (the brute ferocity of) a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a (self-confident) fool in his folly (when he is in a rage).
Thought for the Day
Verse 10 - When corrected, our natural inclination is to defend ourselves. Reproof may come as a painful "lash," but if we desire wisdom, we will receive it with thanksgiving (Proverbs 9:8-9). One distinct quality that sets the wise person apart from the fool is humility. We tend to think of wisdom as the ability to understand difficult concepts. While this is a characteristic of wisdom, there is more to being wise than understanding something. True wisdom, like all the great things of God, is something that any of us can attain if we are willing to humble ourselves. This is comforting to me. I may not be the smartest person in the world, but I know that, if I am willing to humble myself when I am reproved, it will make me wiser. No one has to remain a fool. It is possible to grow in wisdom, just as it is possible to grow in foolishness. This is a sobering thought! A wise man will benefit from reproof, while a fool might be lashed all day long and still never change his ways.
Verse 11 - As illustrated by the story of the prodigal son, if we are bent on rebellion, a "stern and pitiless messenger" will be sent against us in the hopes of bringing us to our senses so that we will repent. Satan was the "stern and pitiless messenger" into whose hands the prodigal son fell. He was reduced to squalor and starvation, and he had to learn obedience the hard way. Eventually, he was able to make the wisest decision of his life - to turn back to the loving arms of his father.
Verse 12 - A bear may injure our bodies, but a raging fool is even more deadly; he can wound our souls. "A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident" (Proverbs 14:16). Self-confidence in these verses could be translated as self-righteousness. It does not refer to the confidence or righteousness of God, but a "devil-may-care" attitude that does not tolerate correction by anyone, especially by one perceived as inferior. We may learn by observing self-righteous people with whom we may have no choice in associating, but we are foolish ourselves if we become close to them. Nothing blinds us more quickly to wisdom than thinking that we are already wise. It is easier to get free of an angry bear than a proud spirit that has no fear of God. One who is gripped by this kind of foolishness cannot even perceive God's correction through his circumstances, Instead, he persists in rebellion to the end.
If we have been proud of our intellect or abilities; if we have been haughty toward those who have tried to correct us; if we have led others astray through our foolishness, it is not too late to humble ourselves and change our ways. Let us humbly receive the Word of God, which can save our very souls!
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, we thank You so much for Your mercy on us when we have made wrong choices in our lives, out of my rebellion. Thank You for giving me the eyes to see my folly and repent of it and turn back to You. Lord, I ask for the grace to continue to walk in wisdom. Help me to be humble when I am corrected, and not to think of myself more highly than I ought to. Let me hear Your words when You speak to me, through whatever means You may use. Bless all of those who are struggling right now in their lives with difficult things. Strengthen those who are weak today, and give them a song in their heart that will be their strength. Thank you for Your forgiveness and mercy! In Jesus' mighty Name, Amen. From: Steven P. "Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it...He who doesn't, Pays It." Interesting words of wisdom by Mr. Einstein, who knew a thing or two about numbers. I have taken it upon myself to learn as much as possible on the topic as part of my crusade to spread financial knowledge. I have put together and shared a summary on the topic that you might benefit from: ---- The "Rule of 72" states that you can figure out how quickly a sum of money would take to double by dividing 72 by the annual percentage of growth. For example, if the interest earned is 9%, the equation is 72/9; 8 years is required to double the account. The problem with applying this solution to the real world is that there are 3 factors which need to be accounted for: 1. Taxes. It's not just about how much you earn... it's about how much you keep! Depending on which vehicle you use to grow your savings (401K, IRA, ROTH IRA, a bank account, etc.) you will be responsible for paying taxes on the earnings at some point; either in the current year or in the future when you are making withdrawals. Even if you earn 9%, you're still going to be paying some tax on these earnings. 2. Market Crashes: Unavoidable and unpredictable market downturns are always something that need to be taken into consideration. One bad year can set your plans back for a decade, if it's not properly structured. But this is no longer a risk anyone has to live with. Part of our mission is to help inform the Middle-Class Americans that they now have a choice: Unlimited Potential for Growth & Unlimited Risk (The Traditional Route) vs Limited Upside Potential for Growth & No Risk of Loss Due to Market Crashes (Our Alternative Solutions) The market may be a roller coaster, but at least there is now a safe way to get off and never need to lose sleep about the market ever again. 3. "Order of Returns Risk" Most financial institutions tend to use the term "Average Annual Returns" to describe the potential and/or past earnings of a specific product or fund. For example, a specific mutual fund could state that their clients "have earned a 10% average annual return" The challenge with accepting this number at face value is the fact that the actual net result for clients is not directly attached to the return rate. For example, let's say there is $1,000 in an account. In year one, we have a 50% loss. In year 2, we have a 50% gain. According to average annual return, we have 2 years, +50% and -50%, Added together and divided by two, we have a calculated average annual return of 0%. As for our account, In year one, we lost 50%. ($1,000---> $500 Balance) Year 2, we gained +50% ($500+ $250= $750 Balance) The account lost $250 but the average annual return was 0%. This is why it's so important to look into the details and fully consider all your options before making important family and financial decisions. --- If you or someone you know might be interested in learning more about any of these topics or potentially becoming part of our movement to spread financial literacy, shoot me a PM and let's set up a 20-30 minute zoom or meet for coffee & get acquainted!
