The Masked Singer Season 5 Episode 5 Recap: Group B Finals ft a plot twist (Commentary & Guesses)
Hi everyone! Welcome (or welcome back) to Ana’s Masked Singer recap, where I, Ana, recap every episode of The Masked Singer. So, this week, we are back to Group B with yet another wildcard and it is the last time we are gonna see the groups on their own since after Group A’s final, we got the Super Eight (yup, it’s 8 this time... much better still than last season’s format). Anyways, let’s get into it (this is gonna be super repetitive from last week guess wise but I am gonna try to keep it interesting and fresh for you guys, don’t you worry):
Alright, so usually I would save the wildcard for the end as like a surprise, but since the wildcard got eliminated, let’s introduce (and say goodbye to at the same time) to the:
Bulldog!! 🐶
Commentary: Ok, he sang Candy Girl by New Edition (which is really funny and ironic for a whole other thing, I’ll explain in a moment I swear) and um how do I say this nicely?... he’s a great dancer, but the singing is, what Randy Jackson would say, “a no from me dawg.” (Get it? Dawg.. bc the bullDOG... oh ok I will stop now). Anyways, yeah no, he was not good, I kind of expected this to happen honestly, so I am not surprised nor disappointed by any means. However, the person under this mask kinda did surprise me lol... even tho I kind of saw this coming.
He was revealed to be, in the biggest plot twist of the century, no voting, just Neicy Nash picking it:

Nick Cannon, our very own host and Ken’s “daddy*”
*which is ironic because he legit just announced he was gonna have another baby
Ok, ok, did I get this right on my own? Nope, but Twitter helped me out so thank you Twitter. I did officially guess him before he was unmasked (but that’s because I had no other guesses sooo can I really count this a win? Hmmm... TBD... you guys let me know). Anyways, BOOM PLOT TWIST BABY, he’s back! Just in case you guys didn’t know (I don’t really talk about the judges or the host here because I watch for the contestants not for them and it would make this already long blog longer and we don’t want that): Nick had COVID so he couldn’t host the first few episodes of the show, but now he’s better and BOOM he’s the host again... Neicy Nash was taking over for him and now he’s back! So yeah this was just a transition for him to be back on the show, but like imma be honest: he might have been married to Mariah Carey but he don’t got any pipes like her, but he’s a good host so he should stick to that.
Anyways, NEXTTTT, let’s talk about the remaining 4 (which are legit the same freaking ones from last week):
1. Black Swan 🖤🦢
Commentary: So she sang Whitney Houston's How Will I Know and I swear she gets better and better each week like she murdered this song, it was absolutely amazing, my favorite performance of the night hands down. I really love Black Swan, she has one of the best voices on the show and I think either her or Robopine could win the entire season tbh.

Jojo
Reasoning/Clues:
10-10-10= She has appeared on multiple singing competition shows (she did a lot of those shows as a kid), she was on America’s Most Talented Kids and was a guest judge on celebrity X Factor
Montana= get this... if you are around my age, this will surprise you. Did you guys know that Jojo was the original person that the producers of Hannah Montana wanted to play Hannah but she turned it down because she wanted to focus on her music
In her physical clue, she talks about a female singer who passed away at a young age that she was friends with= she was referring to fellow R&B singer Aaliyah
2. Crab 🦀
Commentary: He sang Give it to Me Baby by Rick James and it was a very strong performance, it almost took me aback the song choice. I didn’t expect him to go that hard in the beginning, the hip thrusts were a bit uncomfortable for me and he can’t dance for shit (I am sure it’s because he’s a bit older, not faulting him by any means), but it was really strong vocally speaking. He did actually loose his breathe and started hyperventilating under the mask and had to take a break to cool down (literally, because he was burning up under there), which honestly I hope he’s ok, I am not sure if he’s gonna last that long because of that hyperventilating (remember Mickey Rourke?), but tbh it would have been so unfair for him to go because he did an amazing job and I enjoyed his performance. He got soul.... crab’s got soul.
This has got to be (doubling down, like omg even the picture matches w the body type and everything, I am onto something here):
Bobby Brown
Reasoning/Clues:
Mom kept him in the straight and narrow and taught him how to cook= well, he has spoke about how his mother has gotten him away from the gangs and trouble around his neighborhood and into cooking (he even has a food line, hence the Mac and cheese), which also made him take up singing and thus his band New Edition (remember how I said Nick singing Candygirl by New Edition was ironic? Well this is why... because crab is Bobby Brown aka one of the members.... also Black Swan sang his ex wife’s song so yeah this can’t get any more ironic) was formed
Big Ben= Initals, BB aka Bobby Brown and also he had a show in 2005 called Being Bobby Brown and one of the episodes “Bobby Does London” he goes to London
Ribs= he has a line of BBQ sauces and seasonings called Bobby Brown Foods
3. Piglet 🐷
Commentary: This time, he went a bit softer with the song choice which I feel compliments his voice better, with 7 Years by Lukas Graham, which made Jenny, who apparently hasn’t listened to this song before (wtf Jenny, this song was all over the radio in like 2017 and you are like a radio host hun), cry. I mean it was really amazing and ballads actually suit him a lot more than super upbeat songs like last week’s Andy Grammar song and I really enjoyed it, I’ve heard that song a million times so no I didn’t cry but I still loved it. I do think Piglet will go super far, my guess is he will make it to semifinals.

Nick Lachey
Reasoning/Clues:
Genie Lamp= He did a cover of Aladdin’s A Whole New World with his ex Jessica Simpson on Disney Mania 3
The “spider” who made him a family man= referring to Vanessa Lachey, it was supposed to be this whole Charlotte’s Web thing not really referring anything specific about her that she’s a spider, she could have been another pig for all we care
Dog Tags= in the physical clue, there are 3 dog tags, which he has been seen wearing (you can Google those pics) and they represent his 3 kids which his wife gave him before they had their third kid, Phoenix (btw there’s a P on the bottom dog tag shown)
4. Chameleon
Commentary: Ok so he rapped again but this time the song was Hip Hop by Dead Prez (which I have felt like I have heard but I have no idea where) and I usually hate rappers on this show, but like he’s legit. What I mean by that is like he’s an actual rapper (well Bow Wow was too... but Bow Wow only went as far as he did because of his dancing, Chameleon is just pure rap talent) and his flow is insane. I am not a rap fan whatsoever but I can appreciate good rapping and that was good rapping, actually it was great rapping. Sure, he’s the weakest link of the four but he’s also the coolest one could argue.

Wiz Khalifa
Reasoning/Clues:
His little Chameleon/lizard= he has an 8 year old son named Sebastian (he also says Cam in the package which is his real name... by him I mean Wiz.... his real name is Cameron)
Martial Arts= the dude likes Martial Arts and has been trained in it and Jiu Jitsu, he has mentioned it in interviews, has been spotted training in gyms, it’s no secret at this point that he likes that stuff
Hot wings= he has a wings place called HotBox by Wiz and he was also on Hot Ones (for those unfamiliar, it’s a YouTube show where celebs eat 10 super spicy chicken wings while answering questions) idk if that counts but I am also gonna say it

FINE a-e for starters

B for bedtime routine - Do they prefer to be the big spoon or little spoon? Favourite sleeping position? etc.
I already kinda talked about this here
But I will try to elaborate on it a bit.
While their favourite sleeping position is the one described in the other drabble, and they only really spoon when they’re fighting and want it to be over, they do sometimes spoon on the couch watching movies or tv or something. So when they do this, Bunny is usually laying on her back, resting on the arm of the couch, and Roman is Laying on her chest, usually face down but slightly turned rtf the side to to keep his eye on the t.v. His arms are wrapped around her middle and hers are usually playing with his hair or rubbing her back.
Bunny does love to be the little spoon though. Like the size kink just jumps out when she’s all wrapped in her man’s arms and she feels like she’s in this warm lil cocoon made of Roman.
While Roman does like to big spoon Bunny, he also has moods where he just wants to snuggle into her and like absorb into her body. Although he’ll never ask for it, he totally just climbs into bed sometimes and sighs a certain way and Bunny just knows he wants to be snuggled so she like climbs on top of him and like plants his face into her chest until he wraps his arms around her waist and rolls them over so that he’s on top of her.
Their usual bedtime routine includes putting the kids to sleep (depending on how far we’re thinking in the timeline, this could potentially be thoroughly exhausting and time consuming). There’s kinda an unofficial rule in the house that like Roman doesn’t work after bedtime. There was a point where Roman would like put the kids to bed and then just lock himself in his office for hours until the early hours of the morning and Bunny just missed him so much and it ended up turning into this huge fight so now, after putting the kids to bed, that’s Roman and. Bunny time. They don’t have to be doing anything in particular, they just have to be in the same room together. If Roman has extra work he has to finish up? Cool, do it in bed, next to Bunny while she reads her book. Bunny needs to make brownies for the kid’s bake sale? Awesome, Roman will watch sports on his tablet in the kitchen, being her taste tester.
Obviously the two don’t have to spend every waking moment with each other but throughout their entire relationship. They never really get to spend their days together. Before kids, Bunny is just as (if not more) obsessed with her work as Roman is and then after kids, there’s so many of them to chase around and spend time with, they don’t get much time alone or to themselves so they’ve come to treasure that time they have alone.
Once they’re done with everything they have to do for the night, they usually change, get ready for bed, fuck and then pass tf out.
C for Cook- Do they cook? Can they cook? What type of food do they like to cook for their partner.
Ok so I know we’ve all accepted that Roman is a spoiled lil rich boy who has never lifted a finger to do anything, and while I agree with this to some extent, that scene in season 1 where he’s making all the bacon has me thinking he can actually kinda cook?
Nothing serious, probably just like really basic stuff like breakfast foods and sandwiches and stuff. Their kitchen is 100% equips with all the cooking gadgets that makes making anything so much easier so I do think he knows what he’s doing a little bit.
Bunny is a really good baker. She always used to bake a bit as a kid but once she has children her inner Betty Crocker jumps out. She loves being the mom who makes chocolate chip cookies with her babies and brings all the things to the kid’s school functions, etc. She finds it very relaxing and fun and creative way to bond with her family. She does know how to cook some things but nothing too crazy. She makes a mean pasta.
Although they don’t have a live in 24/7 nanny anymore, they do have a house keeper who prepares dinner. Like Bunny (and sometimes Roman) takes care of breakfast and lunch for the kiddos, but they like to have big family dinners every night that are made by a pro.
Roman and Bunny don’t really cook for each other too much. In the mornings, Bunny will make Roman a coffee and fill his thermos with his special drink from Pryce but other than that, it’s usually just goofy stiff. Like Roman will make pancakes with the kids for Mother’s day or her birthday and stiff, and Bunny will make these really good cakes for him on occasion.
D for DIY - Do they like to make gifts for their partner? Are they good at general DIY around the house? Do they enjoy doing it?
I don’t really see them making gifts for each other tbh. If they were to do something like that, it would consist of them like helping their kids make the other something.
I think Bunny would maybe be good but it’s never really tested bc they are super wealthy and don’t mind hiring a professional to do shit for them. Once again, I think they only time they’d do DIY stiff was with/ for the kids.
@Dreamthereapy (I think) has this really cute Drabble with Roman, his S/O and their children making like marshmallow snowmen and like that’s the kind of stuff I think they’s do, if that counts haha. But other than that, they probably have some serious undiscovered potential lmao
E for effort - How much effort do they put into their relationship?
Once it actually becomes a relationship, A LOT.
I know I’ve mentioned it so many times before, but the beginning of their relationship was rocky af. It took a lot of time and effort for them to get to where they end up. Sol at first it requires a lot but as tome goes on and they learn more about each other and things get more serious, it just gets easier and easier.
I drank 6 glasses of wine on my flight and wrote this so if it sucks and doesn’t make sense plz don’t hate me LOL

Also, turns out he is on a diet and fasting but he broke it bc of me anyway LOL OOPS.
But MAN I hope my future man is as patient as you (or even MORE PATIENT) with my parents man bc they can be too much 😂 this has always been one of my worries LOL.
But ahhh always like old times with you. It’s so funny how you’re always so surprised when I remember stuff lol or when you tell me something and I’m like, “Yeah you told me...” “I told you?” “Yeah exactly a year ago yesterday” LOL because of Snapchat memory and I forgot to send it to him.
“Your anniversary is this week right?” haha. I remember bc I remember the date of that very specific unforgettable phone call.
“My number is... *says first 6 numbers* but mom keeps missing it and messing it up.
So I repeated it and said, “0928.. right?”

But my parents are so rude sheesh 😂 Mom kept talking over him and also giving unsolicited advice about his future and him and Racheal’s plans. I could tell he was getting kinda irritated bc he was getting a little defensive that’s why I kept trying to change the subject or asking other questions, and tbh I was getting irritated too bc it’s one of my pet peeves. Like bro... can people just share what’s on their mind or their plans and be excited about it? Nobody’s asking for your advice, why are you telling people what to do. And my dad when he came in, Mom’s like “MAY BISITA TAYO” “Hello po!” And the first thing Dad said was, “Oh hi!..... *long pause* What happened?” SO UNEXPECTED. RUDE. I didn’t even know what he was talking about and CJ SAID “YEA I KNOW I GOT FAT” AND MOM SAID “HAHA HINDI KA NAKILALA” AND DAD SAID “YA.” SHEESH. RUDE. CAN’T GET OVER IT THEY JUST KEPT CALLING HIM FAT. LIKE I KNOW HE IS AND HE KNOWS HE IS AND HE KEPT POINTING IT OUT TOO BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU GOTTA KEEP BRINGING IT UP DANG. RUDE. GEEZ. I HAD TO KEEP TELLING THEM TO STOP GAH. LOL.
But it’s so funny how he loves eating 😂 he said, “DUDE THAT’S HECKA GOOD” to my sammich hehe. Mom asked what I was feeding him and I said “Chicken sandwich” and he didn’t really react lol. But then after making it and placing it in front of him, I said, “Here ya go! Chicky sammich!” And he was like “😳 DANG. WOAH. THAT LOOKS BOMB WTH. TY!” And we ate together and he prayed ☺️ and when he bit it he was like, “Dang that’s hecka good. TY” “Welcome! Hehe” and then mom brought up dessert and cookies and so I was like, “I know! I used to make some for him all the time” and he’s like, “No it’s okay!” But I went and made some in the kitchen anyway and came out like 20 mins later with them done. And Mom was watching him eat his 2nd cookie and said, “Enjoy na enjoy talaga tong kumain ‘no?” And he looked kinda offended but I was like, “I know!! 😂☺️” BC I LOVE IT. MY FAVORITE TYPE OF PEOPLE. HAHA. Axel brought up the other day that making people food is my love language even if it’s not a real thing which is sooo true hahaha. I LOVE cooking/baking for people I LOVE THE MOST AND IT MAKES ME SO SO HAPPY SEEING THEM EXCITED AND SATISFIED but when other people I’m not close to are like, “Where’s mine?” “What about me?” it’s kinda like... UM? Who are you? I just hate being told to cook HAHA. It really depends who it is and how they ask. Like kanina CJ said, “Ima just pop up here like Alda I’m craving a sandwich can you make me one” I got so excited like, “HAHA JUST LMK. YOU KNOW I’M DOWN.” But anyway, I digress. After mom said that ang sarap sarap niya kumain thing, CJ’s like, “I mean... if you’re gonna put freshly baked cookies in front of me I’m gonna eat it. I just trying to be a good guest 😬” HAHAHAHA. I LOVE THE COMEBACKS. And I’m glad he baby talks with me. It’s something I keep trying to change bc some of the kids or even adults look at me weird when I automatically do it sometimes LOL and like sheesh it is kinda weird for a 28 year old hahaha but he does it too and so I don’t even try to stop myself. I also got Axel and Mica doing it too even if Axel calls me out when he’s with certain friends in the car and calls me and I answer a certain way like, “Why do you talk like that, you sound like...them...” but apparently it’s just when I said “yeeh” and “yees” that makes him cringe. Lol anyways... today was good. He asked me how I’ve been doing during quarantine and what I’ve been up to and literally I blanked and was gonna tell him about my depression and therapy... but then mom mentioned, “Kain, tulog, nood, luto ng luto... Pero busy din sa LDC” and he started laughing and I was like, “Yeah basically. Cooking baking, and yeah! I did take college courses” and he goes, “Oh for what?” so I told him and he mentioned that a lot of people at Tesla do AutoCAD and it’s needed and that he wishes he had that skill and that Kuya Basil was supposed to teach him. I should have offered to teach him! I wonder if I can apply.. I wonder if that would be weird if we both ended up working at Tesla 😂 but ahh I missed him. And I’m gonna miss him when he gets married and moves up there. Idk if he saw my reaction when I said, “Wait... so you’re moving up there?” “Yeah...” “Oh okay..” I looked away and just ☹️ I already miss you from 13-30 mins away, now you’re gonna be 1 hour and 40 mins away 😩💔 HNNNG. But I happy for you, always ☺️ as long as you’re happy. Also today really confirmed that it was for the best that I did not entertain the feelings I had and truly trusted in Jehovah and asked for signs bc as strongly as I felt for you, I knew deep down you weren’t it for me even if it FELT nice to be around you. I really need someone who’s truly kind and spiritual and wouldn’t allow me to rebel against my parents like that haha. Also it still bothers me how you get angry and how you handle certain emotions and are comfortable with using certain vocabulary 😅 definitely takes me back to certain moments where I thought “I can handle this as a best friend but not as a gf bc we’d be representing one another” haha. Happy and grateful for where we’re at 🤗

ok so here goes
[Food mentions and slight emeto for this part]
Keith has a lot of trouble with food, both bc of sensory issues and paranoia
when its sensory, its mostly if the texture is too different to whats hes used to, or if theres too much taste and theres anything else (a sound, some lights flashing, whatever) hell get overwhelmed really easily. so he tries to stick to relatively tasteless stuff
Keith also gets a lot of persecutory delusions and some of the most recurring ones is that his food has been poisoned, having relatively tasteless food helps with not being as convinced of that
On good days (well as good a day as you can have when you think your food has been poisoned anyway), he can sort of just power through it and eat enough to not be starving.
On bad days, he either doesn’t eat at all, or if he only realises it after having eaten he becomes sick/makes himself sick.
Back on Earth, especially during his year alone, he had 3-4 “trusted foods/brands” and he almost exclusively only ate those
Once on the ship, things get very complicated, because from the start, he doesn’t trust the altean food goo (he still doesn’t if he’s entirely honest, but they’ve all been eating it and none of them are dead yet so if it is poisoned its slow acting enough) so he mostly only eats when hes absolutely starving for the first month or so before he slowly starts to eat more of the altean meals
He does however trust what Hunk cooks partly because he trusts Hunk, partly because Hunk eats it too, and (taste+texture of the food goo aside) hes always more comfortable when Hunk cooks.

While developing and after when he had it (which was 2 or 3 years before he entered the Garrison), Keith ended up almost entirely isolated from people, in part because he would willingly withdraw from others, in part because the people who took care of him after his father left/died (foster families i guess? i dont really know how the system works and i cant imagine how much worse it must be for a schizophrenic kid so) didn’t really know what to do with him because he had really bad emotional blunting
Because he was mostly left alone, he started focusing alot on the delusions he had at the time, the main one of which was that he just wasnt human (which yes turned out to be somewhat true, but it’s still a delusion). that led him to thinking of going to space because of a feeling that something would happen there. which led him to the garrison which is how he ended up there.
At the Garrison, he was amazing at flying and mediocre at best in all his other classes.
This is partly because outside of doing stuff that could actually directly get him to space, he wasnt able to get any motivation to do anything else. (even if he gets kicked out, he can just steal a rocket or something right?)
he also didnt really have any friends because he didnt approach anyone and more or less actively avoided anyone trying to get close to him.
the way he just was; never showing any emotion, barely speaking, the weird things he sometimes did, etc; sort of drove ppl away on its own
(this is also sort of the reason he didnt remember him and lances “rivalry” in s1ep1. he never actually noticed lance thought of him as a rival, he just thought lance was sort of loud)
Shiro ended up like being a mentor or something to Keith, and Keith wasnt able to really avoid him
They start off sort of rocky, because Keith hates interacting with other people, due to paranoid thoughts (”he can read my mind”, “he wants to hurt me”, and so on) that, while they werent nearly as bad as off meds, were still present even with medication.
Slowly though, Keith warms up to Shiro and starts trusting him (though shiro is never really sure because Keith doesnt show it at all)
Keith starts doing better in all his classes, because he’s interpreted that shiro will be extremely disappointed in him if he ends up getting kicked out because of poor grades, and hes terrified of disappointing literally the only person in the world he trusts
It also leads to Keith putting a minimum of effort into becoming at least somewhat expressive
When the kerberos mission fails, keith is destroyed. all his grades almost instantly drop and he barely shows up to class because losing the only person he trusts essentially makes him totally apathetic, and go back to having alot of paranoid thoughts/delusions (mostly surrounding the garrison staging the entire thing, sort of fake moon landing style but with actual murder to make people back off on exploring space because of Something), and feeling like he’s being stalked by people (not entirely untrue tbh), and deal with anhedonia. and thats how he gets kicked out/how he drops out
Living entirely alone (as in without any supervision) was hell for Keith.
Moving to the shack after dropping out messed with his entire routine, and without a relatively strict routine, he ends up forgetting his meds
Off medication, he had really really really horrible episodes that almost always ended with him getting hurt in some way
Off-meds, he starts his garrison/shiro conspiracy wall
He also found the blue lions cave during an episode
After a while (keith never tries to find out how much time he spent without his meds because he forgot about them), he ends up taking his antipsychotics again, and almost destroys the wall, except theres a feeling he still has that he rememebers he had during an episode.
He ends up going to the cave again, and “Holy shit that was real??” so he restarts his wall while being a bit more down to Earth.
The day shiro crashes on earth is one of the best days of his life bc, well, shiro, but also because he was actually right for once.
Overall, Keith’s pretty good at organising his thoughts and not speaking incoherently, but if hes at all stressed, hell go through a lot of thought blocking
It’s really annoying because Keith hates not being understood and not finishing his points, but often, even if the person hes talking to reminds him what he was talking about, he cant remember what he was going to say after
He also used to think that the thought blocking was aliens and/or the government stealing away all his thoughts to study humans (or, before the garrison: not entirely human entities)
His thoughts are alot more disorganised than his speech shows (under normal circumstances, there are occasions where he does get mostly incoherent). He’s learned to think of what hes going to say step by step before saying it
What he says often still comes off as not entirely thought out, rude, etc because thinking about what order words are going to come out of his mouth doesnt fix not understanding how to interact with others
And here’s a bunch of stuff i couldn’t really make long enough to warrant a separate section:
Keith stims mostly when hes nervous or bored, and he stims by scratching his nails against things, because he likes the sounds it makes.
[self harm (sort of)] at some point, the team notices that when theres nothing for him to scratch (like a wall or something), hell scratch at his own skin, because scratching fabric feels/sounds horrible, often until he scratches part of it off. so they make him these little squares of material to scratch at
Keith does a lot of magical thinking (i cant find an easy link for this but in this case its like seeing signs in things that are seemingly unrelated if that makes sense) where he’ll see a ‘sign’ and feel like he has to do something (what something is varies from something very specific to just “something”)
since he obviously cant always do what hes supposed to do after seeing the signs, hes started writing down everything so he can do it later (lance’s idea). it helps a lot.
Keith hates places with background noises that arent constant (like they stop and start, stop and start), even if they arent particularly loud, because he loses his entire train of thought whenever it stops or starts

Veronica, on the other hand, has a bad habit of repressing her own negative emotions (she prefers helping literally anyone else with their problems). Usually something trivial sets her off, like Kevin bemoaning having to hide his relationship with Joaquin from his dad, or Archie briefly wondering if his dad would like it if he built a gazebo (Betty tries desperately to talk him out of it until Jughead says plainly, “You would literally die if you tried to build something by yourself, Archie” and that’s that, really). But it has Veronica thinking about her own father; how it’s been over a year since he’s held her in his arms, how when he calls her “Princess” over the phone, his voice is strained and tired. On days like those, she asks Jughead if he wants to watch Paper Moon and he keeps her close as she cries through it.
8. Who sleeps in their underwear (or naked)/ Who sleeps in their pajamas?
Jughead usually sleeps in a pair of his dad’s (or Archie’s) old sweatpants and a t-shirt. He’s surprised when he sees Veronica in a simple–not sexy, not chic–if anything, it’s too large to be truly flattering–t-shirt for the first time. He laughs when she tells him how she wears pearls and designer nightgowns to Cheryl’s sleepovers to annoy Penelope Blossom, and she laughs with him.
9. Who makes the coffee (or tea)?
Veronica is not shocked when she finds out Jughead has been drinking coffee black for most of his life (”Since I was eight,” he says it like he’s proud and Veronica rolls her eyes so hard she gives nearly herself a headache). Eventually she thinks she is able to convince him that, yes, herbal tea can soothe nerves. He never says so outright, but he always appears appreciative when Veronica has some extra tea with her (Veronica had initially not enjoyed having to semi-permanently trade her favorite Prada handbag for a clunky Marc Jacobs shoulder bag on the off-chance Jughead was feeling anxious that day and she needed two thermoses instead of one, but when she pulls it out and he looks at her like she may well have hung the moon, she finds she doesn’t really care).
10. Who likes sweet/ Who likes sour?
Jughead likes every kind of candy, but he leans toward sweet. Veronica, as a rule, doesn’t eat candy, but sometimes Jughead hands her a piece of whatever he’s enjoying that day and she can never find it in herself to say no.
11. Who likes horror movies/ Who likes romance movies?
They both really love bad horror movies. Not movies that are meant to be bad, but movies that are actually trying to be good and just end up bad. By the end of most movies, it sounds like they’re just trying to out-scoff each other, Jughead saying things like “Wow, that transition was atrocious” over Veronica’s insistence that, surely, they could have found a better looking male lead considering they didn’t even bother to find a good actor.
When the mood strikes her Veronica will turn on a Nicholas Sparks movie, much to Jughead’s vocal dismay. She smirks when he asks her to pause the movie he supposedly hates while he goes to the bathroom, but doesn’t push the issue.
NOTE: i’m skipping 12 bc it turned into an honest to god FIC which i will finish later :-)

Veronica considers herself pretty fearless…but her resolve is broken the second she sees a creepy-crawly in the ridiculous amount of space she refers to as her “personal area.” Usually, she asks someone else (Jughead) to “get it away” but also insists that they do it without actually killingthe thing, which Jughead finds both impossibly annoying and incredibly endearing.
16. Who is scared of thunderstorms?
Neither of them tbh. I think Jughead enjoys them while Veronica only laments what the humidity is going to do to her hair.
18. Who is a cat person/ Who is a dog person?
Jughead has only ever had a dog, and thus considers himself a Dog Person™, but he doesn’t hate cats with a fiery passion like Archie does.
19. Who loves to call the other one cute names?
Veronica, but only because it annoys the ever loving fuck out of Jughead. The only thing he is ok with is ‘Juggie’ but Veronica has come up with several nauseating variations (Juggie-poo, Juggie-pie, Dollface???, Sugar lips????), much to the delight of one Kevin Keller.
20. Who is dominant/ Who is submissive?
In their day-to-day lives, Veronica is dominant. And though Jughead puts on a show of battling her at every turn, he usually ends up doing what she wants (sometimes he realizes it doesn’t bother him as much as it should, but then he tucks the thought away because it makes his stomach flutter and, honestly? fuck that)
21. Who has an obsession (over anything)?
Jughead is obsessed with Tarantino, as everyone knows. He makes Veronica watch the movies she has seen with director commentary. Veronica smiles when Jughead finds it in himself to talk over even the great Tarantino in order to make a point about the film.
22. Who goes all out for Valentine’s Day?
Veronica takes it to a level that Jughead can’t even imagine. Chocolate, flowers, at some point there is a barbershop quartet? The entire day was honestly a blur, ending with Veronica renting out the local cinema and playing what was essentially a chronological marathon of the best Film Noir to ever grace the silver screen.
(The look of happy surprise on her face when Jughead gives her a simple necklace is not one he’ll forget)
24. Who is the talker/ Who is the listener?
Jughead rants a lot, but sometimes Veronica will get a little gossip-y…and though Jughead sees himself as “above” that sort of thing, he listens and responds as if she were telling him a very important life event.
25. Who wears the other ones clothes?
Veronica Lodge is nothing if not a master at accessorizing. She’ll take a shirt Jughead has grown too tall to wear comfortably and somehow look better in it than he, or anyone, could even hope to.
One time Jughead wore one of Veronica’s bags to Pop’s instead of his usual sack, but that’s a different story entirely

Veronica does both. Jughead listens.
29. Who is the better cook?
Jughead can cook simple things. He’s learned to take care of himself since his dad was away a lot. Veronica, on the other hand, is appalled if you ask her to toast a piece of bread.
31. Who is more affectionate?
Veronica is more affectionate in public, but you’d have to be watching to notice the little things she does (rest her hand on his leg, fix his hat, slide her unfinished food over to him at Pop’s). In private, Veronica is surprised at how affectionate Jug can be. He has a weird fixation with her hair (“it’s really soft,” he says plainly) and is constantly plays with it when they’re alone.
32. Who likes to have really long (deep) conversation?
Jughead loves him some deep conversation. He especially loves it when Veronica disagrees with what he’s saying, because their debates are spirited and sometimes she makes some points that he finds really hard to argue (he does anyway, but).
33. Who would wear “not guilty” t-shirt/ Who would wear “sin” t-shirt?
Kevin got a matching set for them (AND INSISTED ON Veronica being “Not Guilty” and Jughead being “Sin”) as a joke (and taking pictures) while Veronica complained about the quality of the fabric and Jughead just complained.

They both enjoy a quiet night together looking up at the stars. Sometimes Jughead will point out the few constellations that he actually remembers from Astronomy, and Veronica will hum and listen while she traces them with her fingers.
Sometimes, Veronica will talk about what her horoscope sai that morning. Jughead can go on for hours about how astrology is bullshit but he doesn’t argue when Veronica tells him their signs are “like, freakishly compatible.”
39. Who buys cereal for the prize inside?
Jughead has a private (very private) collection of cracker jack prizes that he knows Archie would lose or break. He flushes when Veronica comes across them while she’s browsing through his wardrobe (as she is prone to do to anyone who will let her), but she doesn’t laugh. Instead she smiles and asks about each one, about when he started collecting them, about how he managed to keep track of them (and it feels like something private between them).
47. Who has the more complex coffee order?
Veronica used to pride herself on her complex orders, but apparently she’s spoiled Jughead with her Rich People Coffee™ because he visibly grimaced every time he has to drink something that isn’t a venti, half-whole milk, one quarter 1%, one quarter non-fat, extra hot, split quad shots (1 ½ shots decaf, 2 ½ shots regular), no foam latte, with whip, 2 packets of splenda, 1 sugar in the raw, a touch of vanilla syrup and 3 short sprinkles of cinnamon.
50. Who is the hopeless romantic
Veronica, 100%. She honestly believes that everyone has a soul mate. Jughead is infinitely more jaded and openly disagrees with her, but every time they argue, Veronica says something stupid like, “Soulmates argue, too. So we’ll be fine.” and Jughead’s resolve is gone.

//the poor kid is forced to leave. it’s not that he had much to begin with, but he managed to have a place he could call home. not anymore.
//he ventures to the depths of the woods by himself. it get colder and darker the further he goes, but he can’t go back when he knows the king is still searching for him.
//it’s four days after, with a tummy practically empty and body shivering from the cold that he finds a cabin. at first glance looks like no one is there and even if someone were inside, jimin is too cold to care.
//when he’s inside he scrunches his nose in disgust. the cabin smell pretty bad, a mix of dirty socks and rotten flesh that makes his eyes water. whoever lives here is a pig and careless (bc who leaves their house’s door unlocked?)
//he spots some edible food and his mouth waters instantly but the bad smell of the house kinda tamers down his appetite, so he cleans all the mess the best he can before cooking something to eat. he falls asleep on the blankets thrown in the floor, with tired feed and full tummy he heads off to dreamland with a small smile on his face.
//he wakes up to bunch of voices. he can’t pint point what they are talking about because they all talk over each other, but jimin thinks he can count five different voices. he opens his eyes slightly, enough to see what’s unfolding around him and is met with five very tall figures looking down at him with a mix of curiosity and wariness.
//”he’s awake!” one of them yells and the other fall silent. the boy kneels beside him to introduce himself with a cheery yell of his name “kim taehyung, very pleased to meed you!”
//jimin starts to introduce himself but the tallest of them all with blond hair interrupts him.“why are you here? this is not a hotel”“I, ugh....sorry i’ve been walking around the woods for days and i needed refugee and food and the door was unlocked-”“Hoseok you forgot again?!” another one yells. he’s the tinniest of them with gray hair and cat-like eyes, but he looks the scariest.Hoseok yelps an apology and hides behind the only one of the room that hasn’t spoken yet. he’s tall also, big doe eyes and dark hair that falls on his eyes. jimin gulps nervous when he notices the boy’s eyes are fixed on him.“he can’t stay.” the gray-haired one says after hitting hoseok on the head. “but he’s so cute.” pouts taehyung poking at jimin’s cheek. “and it started snowing, we can’t let him wander around the woods, he could die”“not my problem.” mumbles the grey-haired one.“he’s right yoongi.” the tallest blonde says, rubbing at his chin. “we will let you stay until it’s safe outside.”“thank you.”
//turns out the snow storm takes longer than expected to so jimin is stuck with the five boys for days. jimin learns namjon, the tallest with blond hair, is their leader and the smart one, but also is all long and awkward limbs, clumsy to no end; taehyung is a precious little ray of sunshine, the happiness of the house. always smiling, singing and putting on a smile on everyone; hoseok is really sweet, also cheery and taehyung’s playmate, but gets scared easily about everything (which is taehyung’s favorite game); yoongi is lazy and a bit grumpy, but jimin sees the fondness on his eyes when he talks with the other boys, gives them extra food and puts up with taehyung’s and hoseok’s antics pretty well (better than namjon, tbh); and then there’s jungkook, the youngest and the most quiet. jimin hasn’t heard him speak much, if not anything, since he’s in the house. he seems to always be on own little world, but his big curious eyes tell jimin he is very aware of everything around him (jimin thinks jungkook is the most perceptive of them, maybe even as smart as namjoon)
//jimin helps them around the house. the five boys are pretty much a bunch of pigs that wouldn’t mind at all sleep on smelly clothes for days. jimin manages to get the cabin clean and smelling good, for them to bath and wear nice clothes.
//he grows really attached to them. apparently the five boys were practically brothers, since they grew up together on the orphanage. once jungkook was old enough to work, they decided to leave town and leave on the woods where no one could ever molest them, where they can live happily being themselves. they have a beautiful bond and as the days go by, the boys start to be nice to jimin as well, even jungkook smiles at him.
//once the snow starts to melt away, the boys have open path to go work in the mountain to extract pretty stones they will sell later. The weather and roads are also good enough for jimin to depart, but no one mentions anything.
//the days pass, the snow isn’t around anymore and the flowers start to blossom, the animals start to reappear and the sun starts shining brightly.“thanks for coming with me today, jungkook.” smiles jimin picking up another wild flower. they are good for medicine for upset tummies (which the boys get commonly since they eat a lot.....). usually it’s taehyung or hoseok who accompany him, but the two were asleep and jimin felt bad to wake them up. when he was heading up, jungkook appeared out of nowhere, took the basket from his hand and walked silently beside him.Jungkook gives a curt nod in response and a smile.“you don’t talk much, huh?” jungkook shrugs and keeps walking.since that day jungkook is the one that comes along whenever jimin has to go out. despite not talking much and always looking like he hates the world, jungkook is actually a really sweet kid that has the pretties smile jimin has ever seen.
//one day that the boys are out working jimin decides to go out for a walk. the day is nice and the birds are chirping happily and the flowers smell deliciously. really a beautiful day of spring.
//he crosses path with a young man on the river. he seems to be a soldier if the armor hugging his torso is anything to go by. jimin knows the king is still searching for him so, since the other hasn’t noticed him, jimin turns around but being the unlucky teeny human that he is he trips and falls with a loud yelp.
//surprisingly the soldier doesn’t try to capture him, instead helps him get on his feet and even asks worriedly is he’s ok. the man is young, handsome, tall. everything jimin find attractive in a man and his heart flutters when the other catches his hand delicately.“im prince lee jaehwan.” the man says. jimin gasps and releases his hand to bow to the prince. “don’t please, im just a man here. who i have the pleasure to meet with?”“park jimin.”“a true beauty, park jimin.” the prince says while leaving a chaste kiss on jimin’s knuckles that has jimin’s cheeks tinting a beautiful pink.
//jimin doesn’t have the chance to meet up with the prince again. he walks the same road from that day a couple of times trying to find him but without success. jungkook comes along, having become his partner for walking outings, and silently listens jimin talk about that prince and how would it feel like to find true love.
//jimin stops talking about him days later after seeing the frown on jungkook’s eyebrows every time the prince is mentioned.
//someone knocks on the door and jimin stops doing laundry to answer. he’s met with a hooded figure, bended slightly forward and supporting their weight on a wooden walking stick. the old man asks for jimin’s benevolence, tells the young boy he’s been walking around for hours and is lost, he needs rest.Jimin, being the sweet kid he is, allows the man inside and offers him a cup of water.
//the old man doesn’t talk much, just seeps from his water silently while observing jimin.“thanks for the water, young man.”“no problem. I hope you are feeling better.”“Oh, yes, thank you.... are you alone in here?”“Yes, my friends went out to work.”“then i will tell you my secret..... actually, I came to these woods because there is said there is a tree that gives magical apples that grants one’s wishes.”“oh, really?”“yes, and since you were so nice and caring to me I will pay you with one of them.”The old man takes one from the basked he had been carrying around. jimin didn’t even notice it was full of apples of a deep red color. they are beautiful, and look delicious.“I can’t accept them...”“Don’t you have a wish to ask for? maybe more money, or happiness.... true love, perhaps?” at that jimin perks up. he would really like to find true love.
//it takes a small bite for jimin to feel the poison stain his lips. the burning sensation slides down his throat quickly and his eyes start to water from the pain he feels on his body. he falls limp on the floor,hand reaching out to the old man to ask for help, but he just laughs at him and stares down at him maliciously. jimin watches in horror as the grandpas’ faces transforms into the king’s.“how-” tries jimin, how did the kind find him? he wants to ask, but his body is getting drained of energy by the second, he can’t even breath properly.“you shouldn’t trust anyone, pretty boy... not even princes”
//“now no one will be prettier than me...” he chuckles to himself. “Since you are so adamant to find true love,” he says now to jimin, “let’s see if someone who truly is in love with you will break the curse. only a kiss of someone who loves you deeply will wake you up from your restless slumber...”
//the five boys find jimin like that, thrown on the floor with pale face, red lips and eyes closed. he’s not dead, but he’s not awake either and they carefully put him on his bed, praying their sweet boy will wake up.
//it takes days, weeks and jimin is still asleep. they take turns to take care of him. the house has turned grim, sad; they miss jimin so much.
//Jungkook sits beside jimin’s bed the most. his hand always on jimin’s cold one and stares sadly and with teary eyes jimin’s peaceful pace.He leans forwards, until his lips are beside jimin’s ear to whisper “I never had the chance to say how much I love you.” before touching very softly jimin’s lips with his own.
//jimin’s eyes flutter open seconds later and is met with jungkook’s teary ones.“Jungkook?” the mentioned nods before burying his face on jimin’s neck, sobbing loudly.Jimin lifts his sore limbs to hug the crying boy on his arms, breathing in his scent, feeling the softness of his hair on his chin. and his heart flutters in happiness. so this is how it feels to find true love.“i love you jimin.” whispers jungkook.“I love you too...”
//they party big and loud when jimin wakes up, and even celebrate more the fact that he and jungkook finally admitted their love for each other.
//the king appears again one day after the magic mirror tells him jimin is awake, but the five boys fight him and chase him away. king jin is found dead in the river days later by some of his soldiers and prince lee jaewhan. no one cries his death.
//jimin and the five orphan boys live in the woods for the rest of their lives happily ever after. Jimin has found a new home, true brothers and the love of his life.

i'll be honest, the interactive map take a bit of both fun and "work" out of exploring...i look at empty areas and don't wonder "ooh whats over there" but think "ah i can just glance at that bit"
which should make me feel like my Pure Enjoyment of the game is being compromised, and i guess it does a little, but
i wasn't kidding when i said the need to explore was a bit compulsive so it's mostly a relief
ah from up here i see the sandstorm...i think it rotates around the desert? so, it's very possible to avoid and survive even if you do get stuck
anyway i missed several shrines but the quests for them are so complex and i am so Sick
of the desert. even worse than rain tbh
now the question is what to do next: master sword or rito beast
lowkey wanna wait until i get all four beasts before the sword, but
i know you do all four beasts and then ganon and that's it, so if i got the sword then it wouldn't help me for long
plus i'm a little tired of fighting the temperature and changing gear/eating food all the time, so......i guess i'll go check out the forest

i don't typically do a lot of post-game play so i know after i kill the final boss that'll be that
