he doesn't give his jacket up easily, just be aware. And as stated before He's not big on PDA but I think he'd get a little jealous if they were out and about together. If they were really cold He'd give it up, but he'd absolutely complain about it first. (CAPTAIN! DRABBLE SPOTTED ON STARBURD SIDE!)
Jin glared around at the dirty Vagastrom pit. If it wasn't for MC being there for a mission, he wouldn't be caught dead in a place like this for fun. He didn't trust those thugs to make sure MC got back to their dorm okay. When he finally spotted them, he made a B line for them, noticing some general students getting too close for comfort. He stepped in, using his powerful voice and stigma, saying,
"Stand down you thugs!"
Jin swiftly walked up to a shocked looking MC, taking off his jacket and throwing it over their shoulders. He placed a hand on their shoulder, glaring daggers at the general students and guiding MC out of there. When they were out he grabbed their hand and started leading them. Without taking his eyes off of where he was going he said,
"From now on, whenever you come to this shit hole. You take my jacket, is that clear?"
TOHMA ISHIBASHI
Okay, Tohma would give them his jacket if they were cold but I think it would be more of a shield from others if that makes sense. Like to cover them up or to comfort them when something is happening. (WELCOME TO THE DRABBLE DOME!)
Tohma narrowed his eyes as he watched MC leaving Frostheim for the day. He had spotted some general students milling about and getting closer to MC. He stayed where he was until one of the students had tried to grab their arm. In what seemed like a flash, Tohma was there with his typical smile. He held on to the offending students wrist tightly, his composure never cracking. After a moment he let go of the students wrist, and slipped off his jacket, placing it over MC's shoulders. He looked down at them saying,
"Please do forgive them MC. It seems I will have to teach them proper guest etiquette"
KAITO FUJI
Kaito would TRY to give MC his jacket like he's seen in movies and magazines. But he would get WAY too worried about if there was some sort of stain on it from lunch or if it smelled weird. Like if its raining, he'd be too worried about the condition of the jacket to realize MC either ran for cover already.....or is already soaked from the rain. (WE ARE LIVING IN A DRABBLE WORLD! AND I AM JUST A DRABBLE GORL!)
Kaito took a deep breath and shifted his uniform jacket as he walked MC back to their dorm. He saw on his phone that it was supposed to rain today and he purposefully 'forgot' his umbrella. As they were walking it started to drizzle, before quickly turning into a downpour. Kaito thanked whatever diety was out there for this chance. He swiftly took off his jacket, draping it over their shoulders and grabbing their hand to run back to MC's dorm. He laughed along the way, picturing what it looked like to MC. what he thought was a cute scene from a movie.....was really him dragging MC by the hand in the pouring rain. When they finally DO make it back to MC's dorm, they're both sopping wet and MC says,
"Thanks for lending me your jacket and all Kaito.....but i hope you know there's a hole in one of the sleeves."
Kaito died a little inside when MC told him that.
LUCAS ERRANT "LUCA"
Luca, being the lovely English gentlemen he is. He will always give MC his jacket even if it's just a little windy. He would beat himself up if MC got sick when they were with him. (EXTRY EXTRY! DRABBLE FOR ENGLISH BOI!)
Lucas had sent MC a message to meet him in the library to do more research on both their curse and demons. He was making his way to the library, when he spotted them. He waved and jogged up to them, a small smile on his face. He grabbed their hand and gently squeezed it. Keeping their fingers interlocked while they walked together.
MC was mentioning something that happened in one of their classes when Luca felt a drop of something hit his nose. He looked up, noticing clouds overhead. Without hesitating he took off his jacket and placed it on top of MC's head to shield them from the rain. He pressed his hand against their lower back gently guiding them into the building. MC fussed over how he was wet, but he brushed it off with a smile and a soft hand on their cheek, saying,
"I'll be fine MC. I was more worried about you. I wouldn't ever want you to get sick. I promised to protect you after all"
ALAN MIDO
Okay to start with, Alan doesn't wear his jacket. He HAS one, he just doesn't wear it. He has a vest though so its CLOSE ENOUGH! But with his vest, they HAVE to tell him that they're cold AND ask him for his vest. He has no objection to give it to them if they're cold. But his mind is on other things, he's not gonna get the hint if they just tell him that they're cold.
Alan was on his back, working on one of the cars in the Vagastrom garage while he waited for his partner to show up. Tonight was supposed to be date night and they agreed to spend some time together doing seperate things (its called parallel play for those who don't know!). He rolled out to grab a drink of water and a different tool when MC walked in. They were holding their arms and shivering slightly. He greeted them and went back under to work on the car.
MC sat down on the couch and cleared their throat. Alan rolled back out and asked them what was wrong. When they told him it was cold, he offered to get them a blanket or something. When they refused that offer, he didn't know what else to do and went back under. MC sighed and got his attention by calling his name. He rolled back out and asked,
"Did you change your mind on that blanket?"
MC had not and just asked him straightforward,
"Alan sweetie, I'm cold. Can I please borrow your vest?"
He thought about it for a moment before telling them no, then getting up and walking away. MC sat there SHOCKED. For a moment they were upset, but after a minute or two, Alan came back with a uniform jacket, tossing it towards MC, saying,
"Wear that. It'll look better on you than me anyways"
SHOHEI HAIZONO "SHO"
I feel like Sho would hand MC his jacket whenever he's either about to cook, or about to fight. He'd give it to them if they were cold sure, but he'd complain about them not being prepared.
Sho made his way back to the Vagastrom dorms with bags full of ingredients. He texted his partner MC to show up with an appetite. He was glad to see MC already at the dorms by the time he got back and parked Bonnie (his bike) properly. He raced past them into the Vagastrom kitchen, urging them to follow.
When they came in, they saw Sho adjusting his bandana to keep the hair out of his face and taking off his jacket. He held it out to MC saying,
"Hang onto this for me babe. I'm about to make a master piece"
Seeing the fire in his eyes, MC gladly took his jacket, slipping it on and sitting down at the kitchen counter. They watched as he expertly cooked: cutting vegetables, frying and double frying meats, even his plating was mesmerizing to watch. When he was finished he set the hot plate down in front of MC with a smirk.
LEO KUROSAGI
Leo would NOT give them the jacket he wears. Its a very expensive jacket that he got from a brand deal. The only time he would willingly give MC his jacket is if something happened and they were really really upset (not at him though)
Leo sighed as he walked to MC's dorm. He didn't bother knocking as he came into the old cathedral. He looked around calling for MC. He eventually found them curled up in bed, sobbing. He cringed a bit, not entirely comfortable with such intense emotions. He took a minute to think before sighing dramatically. He sat down on the edge of the bed and threw his jacket over their sobbing form. He put a gentle hand on their back, saying,
"Just try not to get any tear streaks on it, okay?"

(cough cough my abandoned wattpad cough cough) i decided to write this bc... i cant stop thinking abt leehan hjsjdkhw he's so dreamy... anyways,,, (also my first time writing in 3rd pov so... pls be kind><) i hope you enjoy!

"can i have a stick?"
there's no way he would actually play this game with you, right? he has his own food sat on the arm rest of the end of your couch. you sit on the opposite end, facing towards him with a pocky stick half eaten in your hand.
"look at how many snacks you have, no way, these are mine!" you say as you finish the stick.
he took your comment harshly, as he started to flash his puppy dog eyes at you accompanied with a pouty frown.
what kim donghyun didnt realize was moments like these are one of the many things you liked most about him. the way his face is perfect in every emotion. how you melt everytime he smiles and shuts his eyes from laughing. the way he constantly pushes up his big glasses because he's really overdue for an eye checkup. how his hair is always the perfect length and the way it bounces, even when he takes the smallest steps... and his perfect puffy lips that pout out when he doesn't get his way.
"can i just have one, please!"
you thought he could never annoy you, but you're reaching your limit. you stare at him and chomp down another stick in seconds.
"mmmh! this chocolate tastes so good."
you closed your eyes in delight, showing donghyun he's really missing out on the snack.
your eyes widened at his sudden movement. he uses his pointer and thumb to lift your chin up, "and what would you do if i took a stick from your mouth?"
you can feel a light wave of pink start to appear on your face. you look away from his gaze, anything to not look embarrassing in front of your crush.
"there's no way you would do that," you can feel the box of pocky shake in your hand as donghyun grabs a piece from the bag.
"how about from my mouth instead?" he says as he lets go of your chin and places the stick in his mouth. he gives a slight smirk as he wiggles the stick slightly in between his teeth, waiting for you to respond.
was he flirting with you? this whole scenario seemed like a dream, how could he be teasing you so much at this time? did he get intel from your other friends? sanghyuk and jaehyun do tend to be chatty so it wouldn't be a surprise if they accidentally slipped your secret to donghyun.
he stopped your spiraling thoughts when he inched closer to you on your end of the couch. you were touching knees at this point. he got so close that the chocolate end of the stick was right in front of your lips. moving back any further would result in you folding your legs up to your chest, pressed against the arm of the couch in an uncomfortable position.
your body moved before your mind did. you quickly took a small bite of the stick in order to create more distance between you and him. the stick split perfectly down the middle. you never craved and hated chocolate so much in your life before.
you finally locked eyes with him again, only to find him eating the rest of the stick, smiling at the way he could easily make you flustered. the boys definitely told him something, there's no way.
he reached into your box again to grab another stick, this time he pointed the uncoated side of the stick to your mouth.
"ahhh," he said, wanting you to open your mouth, "my turn!"
you gave in once again, holding the stick lightly between your teeth, making it easy to move around. donghyun moved in close to the chocolate end, about to take a bite, but you had other plans. you quickly moved the stick to the side, making him open his eyes wide, shocked at your playfulness. he moved fast to try and catch the stick, but he wasn't faster than the movement from your mouth. it started to get more and more funny seeing him try to catch the stick. you both started to giggle and smile at the fun game at hand. the fun ended though when he finally caught the stick, and he was even closer to your face than expected.
there was about 3 inches of space between you two left, and the distance made you freeze. you can feel yourself burning up again. what were his intentions with you? was he teasing you because he was bored? or did he actually receive some knowledge about you liking him and this is him reciprocating?
your mind went blank when you saw him continue. he inched closer and closer to you, nibbling the stick until he was right in your face. you couldn't take it anymore. there had to have been at most a centimeter left of the stick, because you leaned in to catch the end of the stick and you felt your lips crashing harshly into his. you gave him a small, but impactful peck, and moved away quickly to see his reaction. he cupped his hand over his mouth, way to make the first kiss one you'd never forget.
"so youre the one who got to steal the first kiss, huh? you didn't have to give me a bruise though.."
"you wanted to kiss me first?"
"wasn't it obvious?"
you rubbed your thumb on his bottom lip signaling that you were sorry. you looked into his eyes again, both of your minds seemingly thinking the same things.
he placed his hand on your cheek to move your face back to his, meeting his lips once again. this time it was more passionate and slow. you both took your time feeling each crevice of each other's mouth. it started to get a little sloppy, you both couldn't believe this was actually happening, so the kiss turned into a rush of passion being exchanged. it was almost like this was the last kiss you both were going to experience, so you had to make it count. you finally got to feel his soft lips on yours, playing with his tongue as he moved your body closer to his. he started to let out little vocal breaths along with the existing panting from the both of you. hearing how much he was enjoying himself drove you to insanity. was he really as shy and aloof as you thought he always was? or does he know exactly what he wants and he's very good at hiding this side of himself from you?
you were the first one to pull away, a small line of saliva connected your lips, and you quickly pecked him to become disconnected. you stared at him in disbelief, trying to regain a normal heartbeat but light pants still filled the air.
"come here," donghyun propped one of his arms on the top of the couch, motioning for you to move next to him so you two could cuddle.
"did we really just kiss each other again?" you wanted to hear more affirmations from his mouth instead of the fantasy in your mind.
"yes darling, we just kissed."
darling? that pet name made your heartbeat rise up again, causing you to bury your face into his chest.
he started to hum quietly and pet your head softly, you dont know how much of this you can take. it felt like at any moment you were going to melt into a puddle. you started to calm down after a while, moving your arms around him, to hold him tight and never let go of this moment.
you heard a strange ruffled noise coming from the side of you, his arm around you acting like a shield to prevent you from looking. you heard tiny chomps of a familiar stick coming from his mouth. you collected yourself and looked up at his face, only to see a half eaten pocky stick in his mouth. once he locked eyes with you, he quickly ate the stick whole to try and hide the evidence.
you smiled and started to tease him again, "i told you those are my snacks!"
you tried to grab the box from him, but he was familiar with the game you showed him not too long ago. he moved very fast, and catching the box from his hands felt impossible. you both started to giggle again, wishing this perfect moment could last forever.

for like 3 weeks i was wondering why i was sleeping so much and felt listless. and just now I managed to email 3 people and responded to a month old message in the span of an hour because I got back to TAKING MY FUCKIN MEDS..........
#MOTHER FFFFUCKER#to be fair. my doc said I could stop taking them while im on break since i wouldnt need to be constantly pumped on stimulants#im not sure if it was a side effect but i managed to take like 3 different naps in one day and STILL managed to sleep thru the whole night#at least 2 days into my break. the weird thing is i didnt feel more or less rested afterwards. but mentally i think im in a good place rn#to really put the level of awakeness im at rn i feel weirdly confident i could start one piece. also bc of that sick new opening it BANGS#the song is really good and im in love with the animation style. did some digging and it seems one of the lead animators is masato mori#but i could be wrong. it seems he also did some work on mp100 which could explain a lot lol.. he uses smear frames really well to convey#consistent movement and fluidity!!! someone else might have done color design but it works really really well esp with odas style!!#just love the overall vibe and aesthetic and id really love to study it and incorporate a bit of it into my art.. especially the thick#outlines which i think helps to separate characters and objects on screen. though i have to say the style is definitely more suited to#animation bc of the simpleness and smears. maybe that will help me explore shapes and perspective when i draw... i wanna get better#at drawing poses and angles but i have a hard time wrapping my head around space and using perspective guide lines NGHHHH#i wonder if it has to do with my dogshit ability to judge distance. not depth perception but like. judge how far smth is in metres etc#im also wearing an N95 for the first couple weeks back bc of the wave. absolutely NO BODY is wearing a mask its so fucking over#where im sitting ive heard 5 different people coughing probably not into their elbows!!! and im just. head in my fucking hands#there was a kid sitting a couple seats away in class coughing as he pleases and i wanted to grab him in a chokehold so badly. PLEASEE#ive been annoying my family by asking them to mask up and reminding them to bring masks when they go out and showing them news articles#but at least its working bc we ordered some KN95s and my mom is at least taking me seriously so. please dont be afraid to speak up abt your#health. take care of yourself and others however u can!! wear that mask indoors at your maskless friends house!!! stay home when u can!!#im wearing a surgical mask at home too bc my parents have '''a dry throat cough''' and they are so bad at coughing into their sleeves#also im pretty sure dry throat isnt transmissible bc my brother started coughing too so.. i also tested negative but they havent tested yet#im also not a doctor but i have to keep reminding ppl whenever i can that covid and flu work differently. covid is new and too recent to#have nearly as much research done on it. it seems its also compounding so instead of building immunity it weakens the body and spreads to#to other systems which might explain brain fog and muscle weakness. i remember someone early in the pandemic got infected and it messed up#their smell/taste receptors so bad that they cant eat most foods and that stays in the front of my mind when i think abt covid. christ#yapping

one thing I really like about the no mercy route is the phrasing of some of the dialogue shaming you for… going out of your way to commit a tedious, inconvenient, and not even enjoyable mass murder. Specifically, what the characters call you. Because for obvious reasons, they’re not gonna say “you monster!!” But I think it also probably posed a unique writing challenge (or provided a blessing?) for Toby, especially considering the purpose of the no mercy route being so judgmental of you in the first place.
like. we all know that when certain phrases get used and re-used countless times across All of Media and also real life, it starts to lose its meaning right? So aside from the watsonian reasons for why the characters of undertale wouldn’t use ‘monster’ as a synonym for ‘needlessly cruel and evil person’, the doylist choice here is kind of fascinating to me. A little bit inspired imo
cause it just feels worse to have sans or whoever else say “you’re just a gross person, huh?” Or “you’re really a freak.” after an observation/remark of what you’ve done. and it feels like that because the characters in the game literally can’t use a certain phrase we’d normally glance over.
but it also feels like that, because their observations of you are more precise that way. Cause it directs your attention to what could be ignored through vague platitudes like “you really are a monster” or whatever; the ugly truth. To simply state the truth about your actions is what makes the route so uncomfortable. Because the truth is that you are the source of discomfort, which you can’t avoid recognizing, even for a second. You could just ditch this playthrough and start a pacifist run At Any Point In Time, but for some reason you’re dedicated to killing all your nice little cartoon friends. And that’s weird.

a rewrite of dual destinies is peculating in my brain. imagining an au where apollo & athena actually met when she was a kid, but she doesn’t want to admit to it, so apollo starts getting suspicious of her way before cosmic turnabout. at first he brushes it off bc like she’s 18 & he knows she’s lived abroad most of her life so obviously she’s just saving face bc when they met the first time she did something super embarrassing or w/e but when juniper gets accused, he tries to bond w her by talking about clay & it sets his bracelet off again so he’s like. hm. and goes to talk to klavier about it & we finally get a “oh huh kristoph kinda fucked us up huh” scene. apollo knows klav was suspicious of his brother & wants to know how you just like. handle feeling like someone is constantly lying to you. unfortunately klavier’s main suggestion is “lie back” (as in, if they don’t tell you the truth don’t tell the truth to them, either not that he’s giving apollo a backrub) which leads to apollo asking trucy to take his place on the last day of the turnabout academy trial bc he just. can’t handle it. luckily trucy is a magician & a master of manipulation so she does great at figuring out the whole statue thing & doesn’t even get attacked by a bird once

My toofy woofy hurts. My teethy weethy are in pain I'm getting so sick of eating on one side of my mouth I need this supposed infection to please fucking leave my mouth. All I'm eating is rice and bananas right now I want some fucking protein I haven't been able to eat proper since 9/10 or 9/11 I can barely brush my teeth this feels like a root canal that didnt take the moment I got it done and it's not at all making me.confident for the other one I'm scheduled for because it seems like my tooth pain is never going away andnif the other root canal is on the other side of my mouth I'm just straight uo fucked like what will I do because i had a banana i was eating touch that tooth again last night by accident and it hurt so fuckinf bad. I didn't even bite down!! I can't do this anymore

oh btw update on klapolly tsums project, I did actually start gathering materials for it (there's spring sales at craft stores rn >:] ) however I am now struggling to find skin (fleece) for them 😔
#i got some fleece#almost all the felt i need (forgot to grab red and purple though. for some reason skdhdkdjdj)#i actually got old shirts from a thrift store for more fabrics to use#(felt bad abt buying them just to cut them into tiny reactangles but ppl have done worse gentrification shit ig)#theres a couple other stuff i gotta get but its not immediate#esp since i need to first make a sewing pattern for everything#i did track down an online sewing pattern im taking notes from for developing my own#im thinking i want to actually. release the klapolly tsum sewing pattern when im done 👉👈#for free of course i dont want to make ppl spend even more money when getting the fabric is already costly akdjfkfkfkkf#though idk ive never done anything like that before#I'll try the best i can to make these patterns though#OH YEAH THE SKIN FLEECE I WAS GONNA TALK ABT THAT. I already couldn't choose wether to watch the 2001 or the 2021 anime adaptation....and now I wanna switch to the manga too......Ughjoegh—!!
#FUCKKKK I JUST WANTED TO GRAB A SCREENCAP OF A SCENE I SAW IN THE ANIME CUZ I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY & WANTED TO SEE ITS MANGA EQUIVALENT TOO#BUT WHILE I WAS LOOKING FOR IT I CAME TO NOTICE JUST HOW MUCH CONTENT BOTH ADAPTATIONS SKIPPED‚UUUU .... (╥﹏╥)#I mean they kept the essentials (at least in the 2021's adaptation case) but still..!! it's such a bummer methinks#probably must be just that i enjoy seeing character interactions a lot hsjfhsjf (which is why i favor the 2001 adaptation much more too)#but at the same time‚ w/ how much importance ties & friendship and relationships in general r given in this series#you'd think they'd focus more on emphatizing that by being equally attentive to the more slow-paced‚ lighthearted non-action events#they may seem trivial but it honestly adds so much to characterization#Anyways the whole reason why im making this post is bcuz there's this one chapter that starts off w/ Yoh & Manta going to school together#& like actually being shown engaging in school activities and i thought it was fun#it upset me that i didnt see this in neither of the adaptations orz (from what i've seen so far anyways but still‚#i haven't seen it yet i doubt i'll see it later on since it's an early chapter)#It got me thinking abt ALL THE OTHER STUFF I MUST'VE BEEN MISSING AS WELL.....AND THAT I'LL PROBABLY KEEP MISSING OUT ON#so now i have a 3rd dilemma 🧎 PAIN & SUFFERING......#'cuz like i said‚ i was already struggling to decide between keeping up w/ either version of the anime ('､3_ヽ)＿#the 2021 one sticks to the manga .. but i like the atmosphere + the way 2001's adaptation handles its pacing better......#AND there's also my bias based on personal preference. #i read it mostly bc i saw a lot of reviews abt it being fucked up but it was actually a very good book#absolutely suspend your disbelief bc its meant to be a reflection of society and not like. a bulletproof alternate reality#but the pacing felt sort of like someone grabbing you by the shoulders and shaking you#i haven't decided if that was good or not but it was certainly very effective#no spoilers but the ending was. certainly something#the part with that guy in the interview and the very end were the only two parts that really made me feel ill#but i think that was more a result of the good writing over anything else#the main characters ''theory'' is a very heavy implication too#i read the book in two sittings and had a nightmare the first night so. here we go! lmao#anyway i made this post because i was surprised about how much i liked it#i do feel slightly sick to my stomach from the ending but frankly i read so much that anytime a book can evoke a physical reaction from me#(good or bad)#means that it was a good or at least successful book#anyway don't read this book if you have triggers because it has them all. also probably don't if you have a weak stomach
