hi hello gals and gays. Here is a rare wav from me struggling with the flu. The virus has mainly been in my chest but my entire body is so wrecked I was able to induce super easily. No talking bc I’m literally unable to 😭 Do not listen if you can't stand harsh coughing because it gets a bit rough. If it sounds a bit weird the first half of the recording is from yesterday and the second half is from today, bc the coughing is so much worse in the second half lmao. the irony of me thinking of mizu and akemi as two halves of a whole who complete each other, as the sun to the other's moon, as twin flames whose lives are intrinsically entwined; akemi is a part of mizu's soul and saving akemi in episode 8 is also symbolic of mizu saving herself—
me genuinely believing all that, all of which is inherently romantic. yet somehow i simply do not ship them at all and do not want them to end up together.

Just going to accept that I'm gonna have a permanent "Ugh, well fine, whatever" reaction to RFTA Edgeworth because honestly the direction they took for his character works in some ways I do find interesting, and does not work in others. And by others I mean please stop comforting and reassurring him and let there be weight to his actions here narratively.

#that whole internal monologue is lies lies lies#but it's so early on that you might be somewhat inclined to fall for it. and there is some level of truth to him saying#that he's accepted himself but it feels more like resignation rather than acceptance if it makes sense?#and “i've never been envious of other people” is the cherry on top. there's kuga and then there's aoi#and there's the quiet moment of him looking at that woman with her little kid while going through fucking hell internally#and so many smaller moments here and there. doumeki saying how it's his right to decide what to do with his life and his body#and yashiro just responding with “isn't that nice?”#even that brief conversation about amou with tsunakawa. cause you know. misumi dragged yashiro into the yakuza and isn't letting go#meanwhile amou had all the opportunities (given by misumi! the fucking irony) to do literally anything else with his life#but daddy issues are too strong i guess. amou and doumeki are two different flavours of the same thing it's so fascinating#anyway where was i? right this monologue. good set up for something that's gonna be getting dismantled throughout the rest of the story#saezuru tag

you know recently a bunch of my professors have been excitedly mentioning how in their classes, students have been citing their sources way more extensively and properly than past semesters. did he do this (looks to the sky where a giant transparent image of harris bombered guy is floating)
#my highschool beat mla format into our heads and at the time the auto citation websites kinda sucked ass#so i just learned how to do it all myself. although nowadays im a chicago girlie its easier and more versatile i find#but i know i was in the minority i know i had to help like a bunch of my classmates with citations and formatting#which is fine i dont mind theyre doing their bests as people who didnt really do much practice in highschool#so its a bit of a surprise to see that now people are citing everything. im a footnote freak i always put like ten million footnotes#for sources and also asides for further reading if my professor is so inclined LOL#but like. while this is fun for me i KNOW its not fun for everyone HKJDHJRKFDS#its interesting! one professor even said for the first time in years not a single student forgot to cite their sources! did he do this.....

Actually, now that i think about it... who do yall think would win in a fight? Kyle or kenny?
#Personally i think kenny. But im biased as fuck lol#Every wiki about kenny that mentions combative ability always says that he is the most capable of the boys#And there are several moments in the series that seem to prove this#He took gerald on toe to toe despite being much smaller than him#Same with cartman even though eric was armed with a knife and kenny had nothing#That one time kenny launched himself head first at some enemies#The infamous shuriken incident where his weapon landed dead on target#He seems to be the best with guns (though he mostly uses them on himself lol)#Plus some other stuff i cant remember right now but i know theres more#Also he is immortal so he is more willing to do some things that kyle cant#Im not as fixated on kyle so idk the full extent of his capabilities#I know he is easily goaded into fights. But idk if hes actually good at fighting. He mostly beats up cartman; who isnt physically inclined#Wait post cancelled maybe kyle cut him in half with a chainsaw in pink eye#But then again kenny was a zombie so maybe he wasnt at peak physical condition. His body and mind were decomposed#And some time has passed between then and now so maybe things would turn out differently if the fight had happened today#Post back on i rewatched the scene in pink eye and kenny didnt have any arms lol of course kyle won

#That Ratio and her were working together seemed to be the case since we first found him but idk#Ruan Mei plays dumb when we ask about him but I thought it was clear that she did know him#Herta also pretends she doesn't know him for some reason#cringefail acquaintance#Jokes aside I wonder why they did that. Is it because they both are ehm working behind each other's back#(Herta when it comes to the IPC‚ the SU and the bet‚ Ruan Mei kind of with everything)‚ or is it due to some other more complex reason?#Based on we've seen thus far I do think Ratio and Ruan Mei were working together in something#and that she was in the known of at least some things. Perhaps not everything#She seems to care about things beyond her research even less than Herta does#But given what we're told it seems fair to conclude the fire Ratio had was given to him by Ruan Mei#Herta said Ruan Mei needed it for some research. So either she didn't need it anymore and didn't mind giving it to Ratio afterwards#or maybe what Ratio was doing was something she was a part of. Or did Ratio steal it when he was around the seclusion zone?#I'm not inclined to think that tbh it seems to me Ruan Mei must have been knowingly implied. Yet now she owes Herta a favour#Which is more valuable according to Herta. This quest has left me very curious about the development of all this#Screwllum suspected Ratio since the beginning. I wonder if he suspects Ruan Mei too#Ruan Mei's line about Screwllum makes it seem like they don't get along too well I think. I have so many questions xD#I am very curious about all this‚ satisfied and potentially excited. Not yet excited but I sure have hopes for an exciting development haha#Maybe it will all end up being nothing but the relationships between the characters in the Genius Society (especially these three)#seems kind of messy and that intrigues me.
