Poseidon was staring at his son, Triton. His eyes slowly watching the little baby’s movements as he was sitting in your lap, his little hands playing with shark plushie. It was a gift from his older brother who seemed to adore his nephew. ‘AAarr! Aarrr!’ Triton said extending his arm towards you, his little hands moving the shark. Poseidon just looked at his son as if he was stupid. ‘No Triton, sharks don’t make sounds like that.’ Poseidon said to Triton who was wiggling his feet in annoyance. ‘AARRRR!’ Triton said louder as he moved the shark. Poseidon just sighed in frustration. ‘Why does he keep saying that?’ Poseidon asked you as he shot a glare at his son. Triton noticed this and looked back at him. Poseidon just stared at him, he looked exactly like himself, which was scary. Triton had his blonde hair and blue eyes but your dark skin. It made Poseidon’s skin crawl every time he saw the same deep blue emotionless eyes look at him. ‘He’s evil.’ Poseidon said staring at the same eyes as his own, just this time in a lil baby form. Triton heard him and started crying. His little face scrunched up and his eyes tightly shut. Poseidon flinched a little. Triton was no easy kid. He inherited your siren voice which meant that he had a beautiful voice…yet a high pitched one when it needed to be. Triton’s screams could be heard all around the palace. The glass shaking and even Poseidon had to cover his ears whole Triton was screaming and crying

You quickly grabbed Triton by his sides and lifted him in your arms. He instinctively laid his head against your shoulder and began to lower his voice. He was now crying like a regular baby. His little hands balled into fists which he touched your hair with. After a while he had calmed down and his scrunched up face went to pouty one. ‘Ama’ Triton said pointing his finger at random stuff in the room. Poseidon looked at him before he took Triton from your arms. ‘You look tired. Go to bed.’ Poseidon said to you with Triton trying to crawl up his shoulder. You agreed with him and gave him a kiss. This caught Triton’s attention, his little figure stopped trying to climb up Poseidon’s shoulder and turned to you, his little shark tail hitting Poseidon in the face. ‘Does he have to wear the stupid onesie?’ Poseidon asked as Triton reached for you with his tiny hands. You laughed a little at Triton and softly brushed his blonde hair with your fingers. This resulted in him smiling at you and wiggling his legs as he giggled softly. Poseidon readjusted his grip on Triton and gave you another kiss. Upon seeing Poseidon kissing you Triton’s smile turned upside down as he again wiggled his little legs, only this time in annoyance. You smiled at Triton who was babbling to Poseidon and gave him a kiss on his head. Triton smiled and reached the top of his with his lil arms just where you kissed him. Poseidon just stared at the baby as if he was the devil. You patted Triton’s head before you went to your chambers.

‘Hey- stop that- Get down from there! Don’t put that in your mouth!-’ While you went to bed, Poseidon had a whole baby to take care of. He never understood how you could take care of…this. He didn’t like how the baby looked at him as if he was going to beat him up. Triton,who missed you dearly, was crawling around the room and throwing stuff at Poseidon. ‘Hey- Quit that! That’s not how a prince should behave!’ Poseidon told Triton sternly. Triton just looked at him innocently before he stuck his tongue out at him. Poseidon frowned and narrowed his eyes at the baby before he poked his cheek. Triton reacted by shaking his head and closing his eyes which Poseidon had to admit was cute. Poseidon watched Triton as he sat on the floor, hands on his lap and back straight. It was common for him to act with ✨etiquette✨ even when it came to watching his baby. His eyes watching how triton was interested in his own hands, turning them and clenching them into fists, rather than the million toys he bought him. His strict tactics didn’t work, so he tried mimicking what you always did to Triton. He softly grabbed Triton by his sides and brought him to his face. ‘Why won’t you play with the toys?’ Poseidon asked him in a gently voice as he looked his little baby in the eyes. He could hear Triton’s little breath’s his little blue eyes searching for something before they found it’s destination. His hands reached for the curl hanging down on Poseidon’s face as he put it in his mouth. Poseidon sighed and softly pulled his har out of Triton’s mouth and instead brought his binky to his lips. Triton opened his mouth to take the binky but just before that Poseidon turned it so that it was upside down, this way Triton let go of the grip he had on Poseidon’s luscious blonde hair and instead brought his hand to his binky. Triton sucked on the binky and blinked at Poseidon who was sliding his hair back so that Triton won’t grab it again. Triton began to fuzz in the time Poseidon was fixing his hair. Poseidon looked at the baby in confusion and thought to himself for a moment, after a while he looked at the clock and realized Triton must be hungry.

Poseidon was looking at his baby who was sitting in the high chair with a plate of food in front of him. He was around 9 months and had already started weaning. On his plate was broccoli (that Poseidon ofcourse didn’t make) A sweet coconut yogurt and some nuggets. Triton was sipping on his juice and looking at Poseidon. After a while his attention shifted to the plate, his little fingers crabbing the broccoli, he made a sound and started swinging it around. ‘No. Don’t do that.’ Poseidon told him and softly grabbed his fist and tried opening it. He underestimated his strength and it took way more of his to actually make him drop the broccoli. Triton in the mean time had his eyes set on the yogurt. Poseidon held a baby friendly spoon in front of Triton who was reaching for it in slow motion. After he got the spoon in his grasp he scraped it against the plate before he tried stirring the yogurt, resulting in some getting onto the spoon. Triton blinked a few times in interest before he started eating the yogurt, which he finished pretty fast. Poseidon took his bib and wiped his mouth. Triton wasn’t too fazed by it and started on his nuggets, he took a bite and his eyes went wide, put a hand over his mouth and started blowing. Poseidon couldn’t help but laugh a little at how Triton reacted to the heat of the nugget. Triton kept chewing and eventually got used to it. He then also cleared his nuggets and pointed to his juicebox. Poseidon grabbed it and held it in a way so that two os his fingers weren’t too far from the straw. This way Triton couldn’t accidentally shove the straw on the back of his throat. Triton took a few sips and then looked at the broccoli on his plate. He took a bit and scrunched up his face before he spit it out. This made Poseidon sigh as Triton refused to eat Broccoli since he was 7 months. Triton shook his head when Poseidon offered him the broccoli again but this time in a manner that he would feed him. Mid shook Triton stopped and looked at something else. He grabbed Poseidon’s hand and tugged on it while whining. ‘What? Stop whining.’ Poseidon said as he took Triton out of his high chair and put him on his lap. Triton pointed behind him and he turned around to see what he wanted. He wanted an orange. Poseidon look at the bowl of oranges and then back at Triton who was making grabby hands at it. He put Triton back in his high chair and grabbed a orange, peeled it and fed it to Triton in little pieces. Triton’s mood shifted to a happy and cheerful one after he got his orange.

After Triton’s dinner Poseidon was holding the baby in his arms. One placed on his daiper and the other on his back, softly patting it. Triton’s head was laid into the crook of his neck. Poseidon gently patted his back and slightly bounced him in his arms to make him sleepy. He actually had to admit that this wasn’t so bad, despite it being very tiresome he Triton was a cute baby…that was until he felt something in his diaper and looked down and the baby. ‘Did you just shit on me?’ Poseidon asked highly offended ‘nu uh. Take it away.’ Poseidon said to a servant and handed over the baby immediately.

After a while you woke up and Poseidon was so thankful that he kissed you. ‘That thing shat on me!’ Poseidon complained to you. ‘How could he do that to me! I’m his father! That’s so disrespectful!’ Poseidon ranted to you. You just plopped your head back on the bed and saw that Triton was sleeping his crib, you smiled and closed your eyes to go back to sleep despite Poseidon still ranting.

Hello there poseidon, I was wondering what you and your wife like to do for your children's birthdays?

With Triton he likes traveling, wether it’s the sea or the land. He’s the adventurous one. Right now he’s exploring Japan much to my dismay.

With Rhode she likes shopping, she has different fashion senses and likes to see all the different clothing. Even dresses or clothes from different centuries.

With Kymopoleia she loves to sail the seas with her own ship. She got the ship as a gift from my wife and I. Mostly because she enjoyed sailing with my wife all her childhood.

With Benthesikyme it’s hard to say since she’s still an infant, but giving her toys or affection usually does the trick.

Hi, again! Luv what you did for my request with Marie Antoinette! Reader! I love how you characterised her and how she interacted with others, notably Jack!

Hope it wouldn't be too much of a bother for me to request Amphitrite! Reader with Poseidon, sort of a re-imagining of their marriage story where Amphitrite is an elegant, diplomatic queen, and yet literally the only thing keeping Poseidon from drowning humanity entirely/not having the seas in war with other gods?

I imagine Trite and him originally met during the Titanomachy, where she was sided with her dad Oceanus, and later met again in the actual marriage myth. I'd also especially love to request the part in the myth where Poseidon couldn't rizz her up himself, so he sent every sea creature to do it for him, and she goes, not because they were convincing, but because she wanted him to do it himself.

I wish you the best, take care of yourself, and keep doing what you do! 😊

A Love Forged in the Depths 🌊❤+💙

➩ In the shimmering depths of the vast sea, where the currents weave tales of old, resided the regal domain of Poseidon, the tempestuous god of the oceans. Yet, beneath the tumultuous waves, there awaited a woman upon Poseidons arrival home.

It was Amphitrite, the elegant queen whose grace would temper with Poseidon's wrath as it often did! Soon enough bringing back the couple back down memories lane.

⚠: A bunch of romantic fluff and teasing!

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden hue upon the waters, Amphitrite awaited Poseidon's return to their coral-laden palace.

Her dark skin glistened under the iridescent glow, and her red eyes held depths as unfathomable as the ocean itself. With each graceful movement of her dark mermaid tail, she exuded a sense of regality and power.

As Poseidon emerged from the depths, his trident gleaming with a fierce light, Amphitrite approached him with a gentle yet resolute demeanor.

"Welcome home, my lord," she greeted, her voice a melody that calmed even the wildest of storms.

"I trust your ventures were successful~?"

Poseidon's gaze softened as he beheld his queen, the one who held sway over his heart like no other woman.

"Indeed, they were, my darling Amphitrite." he replied, his voice filled with genuine feelings of happiness to be with his love once more, but he was hiding something behind those dark blue eyes.

"But, the affairs of the sea are ever tumultuous, and my patience wears thin on these mortals.."

Amphitrite raises an eyebrow at his words, confused on what the mortals could've possibly done now. She placed a comforting hand on Poseidon's arm, her touch soothing the storm within him.

"I understand your frustrations, my love.." she said, her words a balm to his troubled spirit.

"But please remember, it is through rational thinking and restraint from your anger that we maintain balance in the world right?"

Poseidon grunted, his gaze drifting towards the distant horizon where mortals sailed upon the waves.

"Humanity tests my patience at every turn.." he growled, his grip tightening on his trident.

"They pollute my waters, plunder my depths, and show no respect for the power I wield."

Amphitrite nodded understandingly, her eyes never leaving his.

"Yes, they may be reckless and foolish at times," she conceded. "But they are also capable of great beauty and ingenuity. We must guide them, not punish them."

Poseidon sighed, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly under Amphitrite's gentle persuasion.

"You speak wisdom, my queen. I'll think about this..." he admitted, his voice softer now.

"Perhaps I have been too quick to anger, too eager to unleash the fury of the sea.."

Amphitrite smirked, her radiant presence illuminating the darkness that threatened to consume them both.

"Exactly, together, we can achieve great things, my love~" Amphitrite said, her words a promise of unity and strength.

Poseidon took Amphitrite's hand in his own, the roughness of his touch softened by the tenderness in his eyes. He pulls her closer to himself, grabbing her waist.

"You are the anchor that holds me steady~" he confessed, chuckling under his breath. "Remember the day we first met?"

Amphitrite blushed and couldn't help but grin, biting her lip at the excitement Poseidon was expressing.

"Who do you take me for my king, of course I would remember such a embarrassing day upon your behalf, hehe~"

Once upon a time, amidst the chaos of the Titanomachy, where the Greek gods waged war against their predecessors.

Poseidon had first laid eyes upon Amphitrite here, as Oceanus's daughter and not his wife.

She fought alongside her father, her strength matched only by her elegance and diplomatic prowess.

Intrigued by her beauty and resilience, Poseidon sought to win her affections.

Yet, despite his attempts to charm her, Amphitrite remained steadfast, unmoved by his advances especially after this war.

Remaining loyal to her people and father! Unwilling to concede defeat, Poseidon devised a plan on a way to win her heart somehow.

Even if it took sending forth every sea creature under his command, from the majestic whales, to the playful dolphins.

Poseidon tasked them with persuading Amphitrite to accept his courtship. But unbeknownst to him, Amphitrite saw through his ruse, recognizing his reluctance to approach her directly.

It caused the woman great amusement that he wanted her so badly, but didn't dare set a foot before her.

One fateful day, as the ocean stirred with anticipation, Amphitrite decided to visit Poseidons domain and confronted him.

"Poseidon, god of the sea, why do you hide behind your creations?"

Poseidon, taken aback by her boldness to just enter so uncalled for caused his heart to skip a beat of panic. As he gazed upon her with newfound admiration.

"If your heart truly yearns for mine, then let your words be your own, not whispered through the mouths of creatures~"

The woman winks at him, about to turn away and leave, but Poseidon saw his chance and took it bravely!

"Amphitrite, daughter of Oceanus please wait! Your grace surpasses that of the ocean's depths, your wisdom and words are the most impressive things I've heard..!"

Amphitrite stops in her tracks, her red eyes shimmering with curiosity at what came next. A smug grin formed on her lips.

"Oh, is that so Poseidon~?"

"Yes! It is true..I have sought to win your favor through the sea's creatures, fearing rejection. But now, I stand before you vulnerable and sincere, asking for your hand in marriage.."

Finally the god of the ocean had said it, he had admitted to what had been so clear as running water, his true feelings and intentions for sending every creature in the sea to catch Amphitrite's attention.

"Poseidon," she replied, her voice soft yet resolute.

"Your sincerity brings me more enjoyment than any gesture orchestrated by you to win my heart. I accept your proposal, not because it was convincing but that you finally said it to my face, handsome~"

And so, beneath the starlit canopy of the ocean's depths, Poseidon and Amphitrite soon exchanged vows of love for each other, their union a testament to the enduring power of genuine affection and mutual respect.

As husband and wife, they were now both rulers of the sea and all its creatures, the same ones Poseidon had used to try winning Amphitrite's affection!

Things you might not know about Bivalve (Ch.12)

A/N: Once again, Minors do not read. Explicit content you have been warned.

Chapter 12; another fun chapter. Get ready Folks.

Fact 1: Vol. 3 is called Kiss the Girl. Messed up in many ways as it’s a Disney reference (and Amphitrite ironically looks like Ariel) and it is right after they hit 3rd base.

Fact 2: Reader casually wishes she had google to help search up what to do if you have sex with a god. Just normal things.

Fact 3: Poseidon is the type to read a book then fall asleep after sex. Then again he probably has more stamina than the reader so he isn’t likely that tired.

Fact 4: His bedroom also secretly reveals a similarity between him and Triton. Poseidon bed is a circle bed in the center of his room, Triton build a nest like bed out of pillows. Poseidon is laying on a pile of soft and silk pillows to keep himself upright, Triton likes soft and comfy things. Coincidence? I think not.

Fact 5: Reader casually insults Poseidon by saying she doesn’t see him as the type to read. Poseidon is also reading a book about Penguins btw. There was going to be a scene where the reader snatched the book away but that got replaced by the pillow scene.

Fact 6: The fact that Poseidon wrinkles his nose up at the term “wife” when referring to reader, once again shows that Poseidon and Reader are physical attracted to each other. They aren’t emotionally nor do they like each other like that yet.

Fact 7: However when the servant knocks on the door and both of them think it’s Amphitrite, Poseidon acts very defensive and suspicious. This shows that he is instinctively acting protecting over the reader, not feeling yet but he’s ahead of the reader a little.

Fact 8: Poseidon casually gives reader a vitamin/birth control pill. This reveals Poseidon didn’t wear a condom. Poseidon is an asshole.

Fact 9: Reader casually thinks it’s a good idea to throw a pillow to Poseidon. Poseidon also didn’t catch it. This shows his guard was down, either because he didn’t care since the reader is human or that he felt relaxed with her. I’ll let you guys decide which one is correct.

Fact 10: When Poseidon says “You aren’t going anywhere, Human.” Was this sexual? Yes.

Does that mean Author wrote another smu— Shush. Yes. Just take the answer as always yes. Once again, it’s locked in the deepest dungeons of my abyssal docs.

Fact 11: Amphitrite casually wondering where it all went wrong when Poseidon is currently having sex with reader. How convenient.

Fact 12: Amphitrite wears a dark veil to hide herself from the eyes of the gorgon sisters. This reveals that gods are affected by the powers of the gorgon sisters.

Fact 13: In Bivalve, Medusa is not pregnant with Poseidon’s kids (Pegasus and Chrysaor). This means Medusa is not raped by Poseidon. And before you all come for my head about that, I have my reasons. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that version of the Medusa story. I just felt that it didn’t fit with the fact that a. Amphitrite scares off any female near Poseidon and b. Snv Poseidon in Bivalve doesn’t really fit Mythology Poseidon. I made him much colder than a gross player.

Fact 14: So, this begs the question, SPOILERS IF YOU AREN’T CAUGHT UP TO CHAPTER 19, how did Euryale get pregnant with Orion. Well, that will be mentioned in chapter 20. It’s not through the usual way I assure you. Could this mean Medusa could secretly have Pegasus and Chrysaor when her head is cut off, perhaps? It’s going to be a little weird writing it though.

Fact 15: Now, I know people liked the gorgon sisters during this chapter but I promise from Ch 20 or 23 forward you will hate them. I will be surprised if you don’t.
